TrendyDigital WaterGuard Plus Waterproof Case for Apple iPad with Padding, Blue Border

TrendyDigital WaterGuard Plus Waterproof Case for Apple iPad with Padding, Blue Border
  • Improved version of our popular WaterGuard case for iPad.
  • A padding is included in the back of the case .
  • Designed specifically for Apple iPad tablet computer (Wifi / 3G Model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB)
  • You can operate the keyboard and navigation interface through the case with ease
  • Great companion when you use your Ipad at the beach, near the pool side, in the bathtub or at the kitchen table

I bought this to use my iPad in the bath. It works perfectly for this purpose. Obviously I have not completely submerged my device (not that daring) but had drops of water and splashes that wiped right off. There is a double ziplock and then folds down to have a snap cover. If I accidentally drop my iPad in water and retrieve it immediately, I think it will be safe. This was my main reason to purchase this vs the much more expensive marine model. I have not used it by the pool or beach because the glare of the iPad makes it not suitable for this purpose anyways.

I wanted to be able to use my iPad near water (e.g., the bath tub). This is avery simple plastic case that has a double seal, that you then fold over and snap for a third seal. It was easy to get the iPad in. It was also easy to see the iPad inside and to access the buttons. It does exactly what it claims, and seems very well put together.

I haven't tried taking it to the beach or a lake. My guess is that the iPad's screen will still be blown out by the brightness, but I haven't actually tested that.

Very nice case, easy to install and use.

It is really very water resistant, ideal for reading books or anything else on the bathtub, on the pool or beach.

I would give it 5 stars if it allowed my iPad 2 to film and take pictures. Both cameras are blocked by the bag opaque part. What a shame.

Seems split with in first week poorly made after two weeks its taped up.

I use dry bags all the time for kayaking and i live in Washington St, so its always wet.

This is the worst one i have ever purchased. Its only redeeming quality is the price

so you can afford to replace it until otter box has their product on the market.

A-Data Turbo 8GB SDHC Flash Memory Card

A-Data Turbo 8GB SDHC Flash Memory CardThis review is for the A-Data 8GB SDHC Turbo Class 6 memory card. Nice card, great price. BUT it's too slow for HD video capture in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 camera. Less than a minute into the video capture, the camera stops recording and shows a message that the capture has stopped due to the write speed limitation of the memory card. Had the exact same problem with my 4GB A-Data SDHC Turbo Class 6 card. HOWEVER my A-Data 2GB SD Turbo 150X card will do the HD video capture with NO problems. Too bad the A-Data SDHC Turbo Class 6 cards are slower than the smaller capacity A-Data SD Turbo cards.

I purchased an A-Data 8 gigabyte Turbo SDHC card for my Canon G9 camera. Upon receiving the card, I put it in the camera and it worked great, and super fast. THEN, I inserted it in my ZOOM H2 and it worked great in that also! Note: Both devices claim only 4gb-SDHC support. The P/N for the A-Data 8 gigabyte Turbo SDHC card is: 751CS60015 Search Amazon: "A-Data Turbo 8GB SDHC Flash Memory Card" (In case you want to buy the exact model I have). I hope this info would be helpful to you all.

Samsung Galaxy NoteII 2 Leather Case - GT-N7100 - Ultra Thin Flip Top Type - PDair (Black)

Samsung Galaxy NoteII 2 Leather Case - GT-N7100 - Ultra Thin Flip Top Type - PDairThis is the case I am using. I ordered a couple of others (one by mistake), but this is the case of choice for now. Good leather, good feel, good fit. It is a little wider than the other cases,by a fraction of an inch (not bulky though), but the extra width keeps me from hitting the side buttons by accident. Case flips open, holds open by magnetism; flips closed, holds closed by magnetism. One of the other cases (Evecase--see review) has a slightly more compactness to it, looks less bulky, is made of good leather, but the perfect fit of the case leaves the side buttons of the Galaxy Note II more exposed, causes frequent hitting of the volume level and on/off button.

I am pleased with this PDair case.

Corel WordPerfect Office X6 Standard

Corel WordPerfect Office X6 StandardI have been a WP user since the DOS days, and have regularly upgraded the product as new versions come along. Until the last version (WPX5) and MS Office 2010, I would never consider looking at MS Office as an alternative. Unfortunately, WP has compatibility issues that it struggles with, and MS Office 2010 finally has put out a product that a professional can work with, so the line between the two products is getting blurry.

WP still excels at professional formatting and ease of operation. MS office gets tangled up in its own fancy formatting, and cannot easily move text from one document to another (or from one format to another) without failing on formatting. You cannot beat WordPerfect's "Reveal Codes" as a way to clean up formatting clutter!!

WP X6 is trying to adopt MS Office 2010 functionality and not succeeding While I like multiple windows (rather than working with multiple documents within one frame), WPX6 loses its "recently opened" file list if you don't open every file from within X6 completely missing the opportunities afforded by Windows 7 to search and access files from within WIN7.

MS PowerPoint is the leader in the slide show market. With the exception of the inability to automatically create random transitions (a weird shortfall, IMHO), the ability to create, organize, flow, embed video and sound, set slide transition timing and export to a video format have turned PowerPoint into a very nice all-purpose media tool. By comparison, X6 Presentations is clunky and awkward.

The respective spreadsheets from X6 versus MS2010 are true to their roots both maintain their native codes and formatting. Because I "grew up" with Quattro Pro, I have never liked nor gotten used to Excel I can move much faster in QP simply due to familiarity.

Unfortunately for WP, I seriously considered NOT upgrading from X5 to X6. The only reason I decided to spend the money is in hopes of seeing some compatibility issues and file-handling awkwardness fixed. Sadly, that didn't happen in X6, so I cannot think of a reason to upgrade from X5 to X6, and I may never purchase another upgrade.

MS Office service lies in its extremely robust and user-friendly knowledge base and the well-rounded user forums. I have never had trouble figuring out how to do something in MS Office a simple online search generates multiple options.

Corel suffers in the service department they have a typical knowledge base that is not very user-friendly, and a very annoying call-in support line (assuming you don't have to pay for it). If you require hand-holding, X6 is not the product for you.

As a professional, I have used Open Office (no longer supported by Oracle or Sun Microsystems, but let loose in the wild as an open source platform), MS Office and WordPerfect Office. I use Word Perfect for most word-processing, PowerPoint for all slideshows, and use Excel and Quattro Pro somewhat interchangeably, depending on what I'm doing and what I might be starting with. For a new user, I recommend MS Office as the most "newby-friendly" software. For a professional or experienced user, I recommend X6 as the software that yields the most professional results with the least amount of time fussing with formatting.

So many operations can be done in WP in one or two keystrokes that take many more than that in Word. The full justification in WP is much better than Word, with truer justification so that there are no noticeable spaces between words. Very flexible program, not only for word processing, but legal documents, greeting cards, posters, resumes, etc. are much easier to do, either with built in templates or self formatting. One of the most valuable operations in WP is the ability to reveal codes to see exactly what has been done to your document and to fix things if necessary. Another is the ability to write simple little macros, quick words and quick correct to save keystrokes. very quick and easy convert to PDF and other formats. I do miss the compose feature from earlier versions, but still have high regard for the program which I have been using, in all its manifestations, for over 30 years.

Buy Corel WordPerfect Office X6 Standard Now

WordPerfect Office X6 Standard is a good product at a fairly reasonable price. Easy to use and compatibility with MS Office is good, but formatting changes in conversion is still a problem. Some of the additional apps included are unnecessary, since you can download them free from the internet. I had a real problem with the VideoStudio Essentials X4 video editor the program did not install properly and after three attempts, I had to remove it completely since it caused my computer to crash each time it was opened. The templates provided are very basic and not very useful, but overall the word processor, spreadsheet, and presentations programs all work great. I would recommend this product for a home / small office environment it is a good value with reliable performance.

Read Best Reviews of Corel WordPerfect Office X6 Standard Here

Wordperfect is still the best of its type. It has those reveal codes, the "make it fit" function and other features that Word does not have. WP is still a full-feature product offering unique control over formatting and support for legal and complex multipart documents.

Want Corel WordPerfect Office X6 Standard Discount?

Word Perfect is a great product. I have used it since it first came out and wouldn't change to any other word processing product. Because of the "view" of what you have done, it makes it easier to correct problems.

Lenmar AIDCU2 Auto Charger with High Output Dual USB for for Smartphones, iPad/Tablets, MP3 Players

Lenmar AIDCU2 Auto Charger with High Output Dual USB for for Smartphones, iPad/Tablets, MP3 Players and Other USB Powered Devices
  • High output dual USB car charger ideal for smartphones, iPad/tablets, mp3 players and other USB powered devices
  • 2.1A total output for one USB port or shared between two
  • Sleek, compact design looks great and reduces clutter around your vehicle's dashboard & console areas
  • Works with any 12V DC auto lighter socket to keep you powered and connected on the road
  • Replaceable 10 amp car fuse protects your connected devices from electrical damage

Found this today while out @ Fry's for $4.99 so I took a chance. Since my needs are minimal (occasional iPod 5G use in non-iPod integrated vehicles) I thought it might be nice to get one with dual USB ports, just in case.

After taking it out to the parking lot I recall how a number of these chargers don't always work in every car. So I plugged it into my '04 TSX 12V power port and low and behold it lite up, so far so good.

Since my car has dual 12V ports (with flip-up protective covers)and because the charger is not a flush mount (sticks out more than an inch) it appears somewhat awkward and prevents the covers from closing. Next I relocated it to the power port inside the center console storage compartment (below armrest). As soon as I did the device began to flicker. After removing and reinserting it, it failed completely.

Only after closer inspection did I notice the center pin was dislodged and fully retracted (should be spring loaded and fully extended). I grabbed my receipt, product and packaging and immediately returned it (all within 15 minutes of purchasing it). Rather then exchanging it, I decided to wait and reassess my options.

I post this as a heads up to anyone contemplating this model (also branded under other names)...

BTW, I'm not completely heartless so I gave it 2 stars instead of one primarily because of:

Dual USB ports with 2.1 Amp (max on top port)

Integral and accessible fuse

Subtle illumination

Bottom line, I don't expect much of electronics (other then work reliably for a reasonable time) but if a device fails within the first half hour... time to start over. It's also the best way I know to send a message to companies regarding inferior merchandise quality.

I really enjoyed this project right up until it broke. It's not too long, so you can fit it into a tight space. It also puts out a lot of power, nonstop.

The trouble is, if you pull it out and put it back in too many times, the shell starts to crack, and the fuse falls out. Replacement fuses are very hard to find. Eventually the tip fell out and the whole thing split apart. My wife's unit, however, is still going strong because she leaves it in.

When plugged in and turned on, it works ok. But there is a serious voltage spike when you first power this up. Apparently no filtering is used at all. Messed up my phone. So only add/remove devices AFTER it is plugged in and powered.

And that big bright blue light...what a waste of energy! This thing is BRIGHT. In the dark it lights the whole car. So even when nothing is plugged in, it's still drawing alot of power. Annoying and unnecessary.

Fits my Nook Tablet pretty snug. Good fit but not much room for anything else, although there are little pockets on the side for any additional papers. There is a small elastic band in the crease for a stylus. Another con is the case stifles sound significantly, so to hear at a good volume you either need to take the Nook all the way out or use headphones. Overall it is not bad for the price, although the f i v e dollar shipping made it 1 7 dollars total. Ehh it will do for now.

Sandisk 8GB Class 4 C4 MicroSDHC MicroSD Card (Retail Packaged)

Sandisk 8GB Class 4 C4 MicroSDHC MicroSD CardWhen I purchased this flash memory card, I didn't have a clue about different classes or speeds of memory cards. I just knew that my digital camera seemed to take foreeeeeeeeeeeever to refresh so that I could take another picture; thought it was the camera. Then I bought a SanDisk 8 Gb Class 10 here on Amazon and what a difference! Quickly refreshes for another shot. Class 4 is OK for scenery/inanimate subjects, but when shooting anything that moves--especially animals or kids--best to go with a 10. And SanDisk seems to be the most reliable of other brands that I researched.

Was hoping that this would just fit the device for which it's sold, but it turns out the neoprene case by western digital is a much better plan for sleek design and functionality as well as protection. This might be useful if i was planning to drop it a lot, but that wasn't my plan. The case is overall just toooooo big for such a small hard drive (WD passport). If it needs to be this big, there should be pockets to keep the cables from scratching the pretty silver exterior, and there aren't. Also i like the zipper system on the neoprene better. Eliminated the need for the strap holding the drive in place (Neoprene only zippers on two sides, not three).

But it's pretty to look at.

Extended Battery forDell Mini 5, Streak, Streak US (with cover)

Extended Battery forDell Mini 5, Streak, Streak US
  • Voltage:3.7V
    Capacity:2400mAh
    Battery Type:Li-ion

  • Certificate:ISO9001, CE, RoHS
    Warranty:12 Months

  • Brand New
  • Replacement Battery

To get more mAh you need a physically bigger battery, hence you get a replacement battery cover that creates a big hump on the back of the phone. The good news is that you get a kickstand and kickstands for phones like this are awesome. The bad news is that the original battery cover design never anticipated this big hump. Instead of sitting flush with the back of the phone, now the retention clips for the cover are getting constantly hammered in a way they just weren't designed for. Within a few weeks you'll notice that you've bumped into something or grabbed the phone the wrong way and the battery cover has popped off, immediately shutting off the phone (there is a little pin inside that presses against the battery cover). As the retention clips continue to get hammered the back cover will pop off more and more until you start seriously considering super glue. If your phone is nearing end-of-life, a couple of drops of glue to hold the battery cover on are no big deal. Go for it, then get a Galaxy Note II like I did. :)

Note that the problem with the battery cover popping off is NOT the fault of the manufacturer of this extended battery. The retention clips on this new battery cover are every bit as good as the originals. They're just being asked to cope with a lot more abuse than they were ever designed to. It's like entering your Prius in the Paris-Dakar Rally.

Extended Battery forDell Mini 5, Streak, Streak US (with cover)

I was very surprised with the prompt delivery of my new battery, but not half as surprised as with the battery's performance. The streak 5 power consumption is legendary, it is not uncommon for me to charge my phone twice, even three times within 24 hours, especially if I forgot to switch off my wifi.

Enter this battery, for the 4 days I have been using this battery I have to (believe it or not ) remember to charge the darn thing. At the end of the day I am above 50 % power remaining.

Last night during a power outage, I watched music videos and part of a movie for over 1 hour straight, that was after my previous over night charge, and usual telephone conversations, however at lights out I had just over 40 percent charge remaining.

This report may be considered standard for a normal phone, but for a dell streak 5 its phenomenal. The stand also came in very handy during the blackout, now if only my otter box case could fit over the extended battery.

I've reiceved this product on time, the seller was very prompt. One thing I was worried about were the legs for the cover of the battery as it is a custom cover to accomodate the custom battery. I was thinking about the Mugen power one but after a little bit of research found out the mugen power one, despite the high price they ask for that battery, they also have plastic legs for the battery cover and this makes the product less reliable, imagine how it would be like to try to put the batter cover in place and have a few of those legs breaking on you. Terrible. Anyway this item arrived with a nice, smooth surface battery cover with little metal legs. very happy I've purchased this item. The battery itself is very good as well, great battery life time. Strongly recommending it. George, Lb, CA.

The battery and cover fit like a glove but the battery life was not any better than the OEM battery that comes with phone. I ended up returning mine.

BoxWave Sony Reader Daily Edition ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector - Premium Quality Anti-Glar

BoxWave Sony Reader Daily Edition ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector - Premium Quality Anti-Glare, Anti-Fingerprint Matte Film Skin to Shield Against Scratches - Sony Reader Daily Edition Screen Guards
  • Award Winning Anti-Glare Sony Reader Daily Edition Screen Protector
  • Dust Repelling
  • Bubble-free Application
  • Fingerprint Free
  • Sized to specifically fit the Sony Reader Daily Edition

I have a Sony PRS900, which I love. I love it so much that I want to make sure that the screen doesn't ever get scratched. Toward that end, I've been using this screen protector for about a week and a half, and am mildly satisfied. Her are the pros and cons.

PROS:

-This screen protector DOES cut down on, but doesn't eliminate, glare. If you've ever used a kindle which has a very dull rather than sharp glare that is the effect this screen protector has on the Sony. Instead of that really shiny reflective glare, this blunted glare is much easier to handle.

-The sensitivity of the touch screen is not much diminished by this screen protector, either using fingers or the stylus. I've found myself having to press ever-so-slightly-harder to turn the page, but not so much that one notices after ten minutes of adjustment.

CONS:

-It may just be my ineptitude, but this screen protector is near impossible to get on without small air bubbles. I tried putting it on four times and settled for having a few very minor air bubbles that are really only visible when I look at the machine (in off mode) from an angle. You will be supplied with a plastic strip to help comb out the air bubbles when putting the screen protector on, but in my experience, it doesn't really help.

-I have noticed that the screen protector does render the screen's resolution a little less clear and pronounced. When my screen was protector-less and clean, the text was slightly crisper and darker than with this protector on. Also, I am quit sure that this protector shows finger prints a little more obviously than the Sony screen itself.

All in all, I probably would buy this product again, only because I am not sure the 'cons' would not apply to ALL screen protectors. And I consider the safety of knowing that my Sony won't get scratched worth the trade-off of a few very faintly visible air bubbles and slight diminution of contrast.

Buy BoxWave Sony Reader Daily Edition ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector - Premium Quality Anti-Glar Now

Completely unusable thing. I put it over my PRS-900 and than drop out to the trash bin.

Same and even worse glare, impossible to put this protector withoout bulbs. I bought original protector for Nook and doesn't have any of this issues.

So I will never buy any thing from this prodcucer don't spend your money on this junk too.

i bought this screen protector for my Sony Reader Daily Edition and it does its job i admit it could cut down glare even more and i hope the manufacturer will improve the protector in this aspect next time around. but the protector does protect the screen and i haven't had any problems with it. it takes a bit of patience to put the protector on without getting a bit of air bubbles, but not too bad included is a plastic card and small microfiber wipe to help you apply the protector onto your Reader. the product works fine but a bit pricey, in my opinion.

I loved this a lot, and then left it on a Delta plane. I miss it greatly. This reader had the best options for multiple venues when I purchased it.

The Anti glare screen protector does not help with the glare at all. It does protect the screen from scratches. I really bought this item for the anti glare. It was very expensive and really does not work. Definite waste of money!!

PalmOne Tungsten T and T2 Sleeve Case

PalmOne Tungsten T and T2 Sleeve Case
  • Hidden metal structure inside protects screen from scratches and light shocks
  • Outside covered with sleek material with a soft, scuba-finish surface
  • Allows easy access to all product features, including the record button, expansion card slot and stylus
  • Fits perfectly in pocket and gives just the right protection for your device
  • Compatible with Tungsten T/T2

This case gets a lot of criticism, not all of which is deserved. (One review posted previously is nothing more than a general rant about Palm accessories.) I've tried numerous cases for all kinds of PDA's (both Palm OS and Pocket PC) and I have found that the simplest cases work best for me. With that in mind, I offer some pros and cons regarding the Scuba Sleeve Case.

PRO -

No velcro! (This is a big plus for me.)

Stiff case without the metal "Terminator" look

Cutout allows access to voice record button & earphone jack

Closes securely without snaps, zippers or clasps

Soft interior lining

Don't have to remove Tungsten to sync (must extend slider, though)

Protects buttons from accidental presses (the review that stated otherwise is incorrect)

Good protection for screen, back, sides and corners

CON -

Hard to extend slider

No holders for expansion cards or other accessories

Shows fingerprints easily

Opens about 180 degrees, but won't stay open by itself

No protection for top (power button, IRDA port, stylus silo and expansion card)

No protection for bottom (sync connector)

If you don't need a vault to protect your Tungsten T and you don't need a case that carries extra accessories (expansion cards, pens, screen protectors, business or credit cards), this is a very simple and effective case.

I hate it when you acquire a sleek bit of electronic gear only to have it bloat by adding a case. When I got my Tungsten T, I thought the Aluminum Hard Case would be the slimmest, but reading a review of that persuaded me otherwise. So I looked to the Sleeve Case to be the no-frills protective skin.

The case opens like a book, but the front cover doesn't wrap around back. It stays closed by the curved right side of the front cover sliding around the curved right side of the back cover. The case attaches to your handheld with a plastic bracket on the back cover, using the same slots as the clear plastic screen cover that comes with your Tungsten T. The inside of the case is a velvety material. There is an oval cut-out that allows access to the record button and headphone jack, and the top and bottom of the case are completely open (but you would still have to remove the case to dock the handheld in the cradle).

Unfortunately, the case seems a little bulky and falls short (or should I say wide?) of the protective skin I was hoping for. I hadn't noticed before, but the top of a Tungsten T is thinner than the bottom. It becomes more obvious when in the case since there is an 1/8" gap between the case and the handheld at the top. It just doesn't seem as snug as I would like. Overall width of the case is 3 5/16", height 4 3/16" and thickness about 7/8".

An additional minor note: Instead of the round Palm logo shown on the pictures, the case I received has a square silver Palm logo.

The main criteria for a case for me are compactness, protection from impact and accessability. So far, I haven't come across another case that beats it on the above criteria. The Sleeve Case is very compact (fits in a shirt or trouser pocket easily)and offers reasonable protection from dropping. I have had problems with the clip getting loose (after about 1 month's useage) and the Tungsten falling out unexpectedly. I have had some success, however, in bending the plastic clip (by hand) to improve the clip tension. I agree with other reviewers that due to the cover not opening beyond 180 degrees, it is somewhat awkward to hold in one hand. Also, the cover doesn't stay open when you set it down so I often end up removing it from the case so I can read from the screen while both hands are otherwise occupied. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to slide the Tungsten open while in the case. I currently grip the Sleeve Case firmly on both sides with my left hand and hook my right thumbnail over the seam at the bottom right.

I like most of the features of the Palm Tungsten T Sleeve Case. It is certainly much better than the plastic plate that comes with the Tungsten. The case has a sturdy feel and protects the PDA very well. As advertised it is slim and fits easily in my pocket. I like the catch that holds the Case closed. It is very convenient to open but never pops open unexpectedly. It is a little clumsy to slide the Tungsten PDA open. I also wish that I did not have to remove the PDA prior to synchronization, although it is not hard to take it in and out. All in all it is a good product.

Got this case for X-mas. I've seen it elsewhere called the scuba sleeve case because the outer coating is supposed to be a scuba-like material. It doesn't feel very rubbery to me, it feels more like hard leather. It's kind of hard to open up the sliding graffiti area on the Tungsten when you are using the case, but other than that it does offer more protection and gives the Tungsten a more rugged feel when you are carrying it around.

Impecca KBB600CW Bamboo Wirelesskeyboard & Mous

Impecca KBB600CW Bamboo Wirelesskeyboard & Mous
  • KBB600CW Wireless Hand-Carved Designer Bamboo Keyboard.
  • 2.4GHz wireless technology.
  • Revolutionary new green product.
  • Biodegradable and environmental friendly.
  • Hand-carved out of 100% natural bamboo.

I got this in the mail and I was extremely exited. Right out of the box 2 keys didnt work up in the top right. The mouse was a 5$ mouse with only a different bamboo case. All of the keys were very loose and stuck out too much for my liking, also typing was very loud and "clackity". The battery door on the bottom of the mouse barely stayed on and had a small piece of wood sticking out of the bottom and it made the mouse drag. I tried sending it back and they said nothing was wrong and took off 20% of the original price when they gave me a refund which ended up being around 12$ that I lost. Dont buy this product, sure it looks nice but your paying 90% of the money for bamboo and 10% for the actual, terrible hardware.

The keyboard is great and works great, the mouse though was working fine, then suddenly it stopped working altogether. I;ve never been a fan of wireless mice, so no surprise there, but we really do love the keyboard!

On time delivery and installed without a problem. Would have given it 5 stars but the keys are a bit too light to see easily. Need the letters to be a little darker

This is a really nice keyboard. Ideally I would give it a 3.5, but it deserves more than a 3 so here we are at 4 stars. The keys have a good feel, just the right amount of resistance. The only suggestion I have is that a stain be used inside the engraving of the letters and numbers on the keys. As it is, one requires a bit of a strain unless you have perfect vision to make out the letters because they are pretty much just engraved into the bamboo. But if you want a break from metal, this is a good choice. The mouse is very well made and comfortable, too.

Like many people these days, I spend a lot of time on my computer. I LOVE this keyboard. One thing none of the reviewers have mentions is how wonderful it is to type on wood. Not something I would have anticipated really, in practice, making a big difference, but it does. It's different to touch wood (ok, bamboo) than plastic; such a treat. I've been using it for almost 2 years and I love it more and more.

Bluetooth Leather Keyboard Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 8.9" P7300/P7310

Bluetooth Leather Keyboard Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 8.9' P7300/P7310
  • Stylish protective PU leather case designed for Galaxy Tab 8.9 with display stand for easy viewing
  • Light weight, quiet keystroke, dust proof and spill-proof
  • Working temperature -20-55 deg celcus, humidity 20-50%
  • Energy saving keyboard with sleep mode
  • With AIROHA AB1100 as main control chip, with bluetooth 3.0 interface

So, the plus is that this does work sometimes (using it now), and it was half the price of what I saw in thebox store when I bought my Galaxy. On the negative side, I've probably spent every second that the keyboard has saved me while typing instead reseting the Bluetooth connection, over and over, hoping it connects. It takes 4-4.5 hours to charge the device, and its cord is even shorter than the 1 m cord that comes with the Galaxy. He keys don't always register a strike, and when they do, if you strike for a moment too long, it pulls up a menu to let you choose between all the accents that could be put on that letter, a useless and frustrating feature for typing in English, and yet, ironically, the Ctrl+Space hotkey that Windows uses to toggle between language inputs / keyboards doesn't work. A great perk of having a keyboard is that other hotkeys like cut and paste doo work, and selecting text is easier. It's not quite dysfuntional enough to send back, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend-will keep it around and hope I get some jedi tricks for establishing the Bluetooth connection.

This cover is advertised as being able to fit the 8.9" Samsung Galaxy Tab, however I had to fight to get the tablet to fit properly in the opening. After quite a struggle, the tablet was finally in place. I just hope it stays put while I'm trying to use the keyboard.

The cover is nice and the tab fits very well. However, if you want a keyboard, don't look here. Item arrived with an on/off switch that was only useable with you fingernail. Only used the switch three times before it fell off. Now I have a cover that is bulky due to the extra non-usable keyboard.

I bought 2 units. One was ok on arrival, but the other unit has keys from 3 E D C not working.

Unfortunately, I am in Manila now and will not be able to return the defective unit any time soon.
