Logitech Broadcaster Wi-Fi Webcam for HD Video Streaming, Calling, Recording - Black (960-000854)

• The world's first Wi-Fi webcam: Highly versatile handheld wireless web camera for Mac, iPad and iPhone
• One-touch live broadcasting: Stream your band, show or lecture directly to Ustream, one of the world's most popular video streaming site
• Multi-view video calling: Effortlessly switch scenes on Skype between your built-in Mac webcam and the aim-anywhere Broadcaster
• Dual camera recording: Capture multiple angles simultaneously from Broadcaster and your built-in Mac webcam, then edit video on your Mac or iPad in iMovie or Final Cut Pro
• Pro-quality HD video: Premium optics, digital zoom/pan/tilt, built-in mic, jack for a pro mic for even better audio pick-up, camera stand and tripod-ready base

Pros:

* The case it comes in is great; very nice looking, compact, durable, and the lid doubles as a mini-tripod stand (great feature)

* Easy set up with iPods and computer (uses a quick and painless method of QR code syncing)

* Device itself is small, clean looking, simple to use, has flash, and works like it's supposed to

* Livestream works wonderfully with no problems

* For the most part, works as advertised

Cons:

* Is not Windows compatible (does not work at all with Windows)

* Does not function over Bluetooth

* Does not work (or at least I couldn't get it to work) over a public wifi (university's wifi) signal

* My iPhone 5 takes higher quality video than the camera itself

* When you have it connected to your iPhone/iPod the iPhone/iPod must remain turned on (as in, the iPod cannot go into sleep mode, meaning you cannot let the screen go dim) otherwise it cuts the signal to the camera instantly, and stops the recording

This is a very cool new kind of webcam, designed specifically for Macs, iPads and iPhones. It looks good, it comes in a handy storage case that doubles as a mini-camera mount, it has a built in lamp for illuminating what you're shooting, it records decent sound as is and allows you to add an external microphone for even better sound. One thing I like is that all it takes to access the application that controls it is to plug it in to your computer via USB. It immediately leads you through the installation process.

Of course, if you have any of those devices, you already have a webcam, so why would you need a new one? You wouldn't at least not a standard webcam designed to mount on top of the computer and record your face. But what if you wanted to switch between your face and your profile or between your face and the baby's crib, as you were Skyping with grandma? This makes it easy to switch live between the built-in webcam and another view, anywhere that's in range of the same access point you are using. It would be ideal if, for example, you were streaming an interview live, where you could put one person in charge of switching the viewpoint in front of the laptop, and another interviewee seated comfortably nearby with this recording their responses.

What got me most excited, though, was the potential to use it for stop motion. I use a stop motion program (iStopMotion) that allows me to preview shots and control a webcam from my computer. With this I can set up the camera wherever I like, untethered to my computer, and then record things one shot at a time. I actually went looking around for something like this that would work on my Mac a couple years ago and couldn't find anything like it out there. The images look great, and the process works great. The camera can either mount directly, via a magnetized swivel ball on the bottom, to the top of its carrying case, or, for even greater flexibility you can remove the lid of the case and mount that to a tripod (or gorillapod) via a standard 1/4" mounting screw. I wish, though, they'd also included a screw mount on the bottom of the camera, because that would allow for even greater flexibility -say if you wanted to mount this to a gorillapod mount and mount that to a lamp on the top of the ceiling.

I have noticed, further, that for this to work you do have to have a strong WiFi signal nearby. This doesn't seem to pick up signal as well as some other WiFi devices I've used. In certain spots of my house, and even in my office, I get a message from the Broadcaster app that the video bandwidth is insufficient and I can see heavy pixelation in the images. This is true even where I know that the bandwidth is capable of streaming HD movies from Amazon or Netflix, so I can only assume it's due to the device's own WiFi transmitter/receiver. That's the biggest weakness of the device as far as I'm concerned, and the reason why I don't give it the highest rating.

Overall, though, this is a fantastic new kind of webcam, that's well designed, and works well for video calling and for other creative uses ... if you have a strong nearby signal.

What this camera does not do is function as a security or nanny cam. It is a surprising omission in what otherwise is a very impressive wireless video camera for OSX and iOS devices. It turns off after a while.

Setup is simple. An O.R. code is generated on your setup device, in my case, a MacBook Pro. Once a connection is made to a WiFi network, you simply hold the camera about six inches from the screen and within ten seconds or so, the camera is fully operational.

The hollow base serves as a storage compartment for the device which has a builtin rechargeable battery as well as an external power connection. The base also serves as a multidirectional video mount, eliminating the need for tripods, etc.

I have accessed the stream on my MacBook Pro, my iPhone 5, and my new iPad. It also broadcasts to UStream so you can share with your friends and neighbors. A Facebook or YouTube link is provided, and uploading to those services from Apple devices is easy. iMovie is supported as well for those fans of this quirky Apple app.

Logitech positions this as a multi-angle camera to supplement the builtin in cameras on Apple devices. It promotes dual camera shots on Skype calls (and presumably on FaceTime) but unless you are a Spielberg wannabe or an aspiring adult movie star it does not seem worth the trouble.

As to the 720p resolution, it is adequate. Logitech does offer a 1080p webcam but without the wireless capacity. The wireless functionality is the key here and accompanied by a person hotspot (and a great data plan) you can practice being Steven Spielberg anywhere.

We bought this camera hoping to have found the fountain of youth, but even though video quality is great and the concept is great too, even on direct power, it resets itself after 30 minutes. For streaming this is a serious problem because when Wirecast looses the signal has to be restarted to get it back and half way through a concert or church service, that is not possible.

Logitech should develop a 920 with the possibility of using Canon EF lenses. That would be a dream come true for webcasters and a huge step for human kind.

This device works quite well in a Wi-Fi environment. The picture quality is very good when uploaded to U-Stream or to a computer for later posting. It has the benefit of not having to lug around another computer or equipment. The base it comes with is not so great. The camera falls of easily and one should not leave it unattended. I think it is a bit pricy for what you get.

NEW OEM BODY GLOVE CASE FOR LG OPTIMUS U S V

Purchased these for a friend and he was very very happy that they arrived so fast and were what he wanted and thought the price was fabulous. He couldn't find what he wanted in town so I found these for him.Amazon has most everything.

This body glove case is so sleek and adds nothing to the phone as far as bulkiness. The case itself looks like it does nothing at all but au contraire monsieur, the way it is designed it protects what is necessary. I have dropped my phone a few times and it has come out each time unscathed. the case protects the corners and sides and the lip protects the screen from scratching as well. so you can store it face down but the screen doesn't touch. wonderful product. and stylish too

My SkyCaddie wouldn't hold a charge anymore and SkyCaddie wanted $40 + shipping for the battery. Sorry SkyCaddie, they're all made in China by the same 4yr olds. I'll take the $18 dollar version.

2GB CF MEMORY CARD Sigma SD10 SD9 Camera

• Capacity: 2GB
• Type: Compact Flash (CF) Memory Card
• For Digital Cameras / Handheld / Laptops

I received these memory cards and had a problem with them in my camera. The supplier provided me a second set with a paid return for the original memory cards. I discovered that the problem was a camera problem and not the card problem. After my camera repair, the dane-elec 2GB cards worked great and the service from the supplier was also great. I recommend the cards and the supplier.

Belkin Professional Capacitive Tip Stylus for Kindle Fire, White

I recently purchased a Kindle Fire my first venture into the Kindle arena.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. I seemed to have to "punch" the face of the Kindle to get it to react. Pushing lightly just didn't work. If things were very close together, only luck got me to the area I wanted.

While researching accessories, I noticed styli. I liked the styling of this one and its price. You'll be happy to know the vendor is a speedy shipper.

From the very first touch to the screen using this stylus I was hooked. The softest touch and Kindle leaped to the area I had chosen. What a major surprise. I fiddled around for about 10 minutes and got happier and happier with this stylus. Less work, less potential damage to the Kindle from "punching" the screen, faster reaction time, improved accuracy in hitting the correct area of the screen and less wear and tear on my fingers. Another advantage, no fingerprints on the screen.

All those pluses and no minuses a winning combination.

If you'll excuse me, it's back to my Kindle Fire.

For people like me, people with small touch screens and fat fingers, this little gizmo is a God send!

I kept mistyping characters on my Kindle Fire; took three times longer than it should to send a stupid email!

Now, I can use this little stylus and breeze right through!

I have purchased many rubber tipped styluses for my devices and I was disappointed by this stylus as I expected more from Belkin. If this is the very first stylus you've bought you might be pleased as styli do make it easier on hands and make navigation easier. However, if you've had some experience with other brands you will not be impressed.

All rubber tipped styluses eventually lose their responsiveness and become a little "sticky" on the surface after some use, with some drag. So I purchased this stylus to update my Targus stylus Targus Stylus for Apple iPad, iPad 2, new iPad (3rd Generation), 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 4G, iPhone, iPod, Tablet AMM01US (Black), which looks very similar and had started developing drag after some months of use. However, using it on my Kindle and iPad I found that this stylus is much less responsive than the Targus even though this is new.

Some rubber tipped styluses are better for navigation and clicking which are usually the thicker tipped stylus (8mm)and some others are better for writing and sketching like the Bamboo Stylus and the Alupen Stylus and come with a thinner rubber tip (6mm) and are usually more expensive. So I wasn't planning to use this stylus for writing or sketching for prolonged period of time and yes it's very slow for writing or sketching. But at the very least I expected this stylus to be great at just surfing on the Kindle Fire and iPad, but found that it does not even outperform the cheaper generic type brands like Fosmon Fosmon Black Capacitive Stylus Touch Screen Pen (4 Pack) Works with Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy S3, the New iPad 3, iPhone 4/4S, Motorola XOOM, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 & Most Smartphones or Tablets which are available in a 4 pack for a lower price.

I will be returning this stylus to get another brand many of them are available for the same price.

I recently purchesed the stylus for taking notes on my IPAD. The stylus does feel light and it feels sturdy overall. The only issue I have found so far is that from time to time it will not pick up my writing. Then the size is smaller than I prefer. Although, I feels it is a quality item and it works well.

SwitchEasy Nude Slim Case for iPad (UltraClear)

• iPad, State of the art 1mm Ultra Thin casing
• Made from Super Strong GE Lexan polycarbonate material
• Easy touch button access
• Package includes: (1) NUDE ultra thin casing for iPad (2) portable fold-out stands (1) anti-static Screen Guard (1) Microfiber Wipe
• (1) Squeegee for your Screen Guard application (2) Headphone Jack Protectors (2) 30 Pin Connector Protectors

This is by far the best case for iPad that is very reasonably priced. It does not hide the device, yet it offers protection good enough even for my 3-yr old kid. The ultra clear version is completely transparent with minimal thickness. The case comes with outstanding screen protector that does not interfere with the touch interface and does not impair image quality. This is very different from cheap screen protectors that are impossible to apply without bubbles. Start applying from the bottom by aligning the hole for the Home button and the bottom edge. Then slowly keep removing the cover on the adhesive side as you lay the protector on the screen. Finally, remove the protective cover on the other side. Use the supplied squeegee and your fingers to eliminate air bubbles. I was able to apply my protector with absolutely perfect alignment and with absolutely zero bubbles or any dirt underneath. When you squeeze out existing bubbles, the screen cover will remain bubble free and perfect.

Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with Switcheasy Nude Ultraclear case for iPad and would recommend this case to everyone. I had prior experience with Switcheasy having used their Rebel Serpent case for my iPhone.

Buy SwitchEasy Nude Slim Case for iPad (UltraClear) Now

Fits snugly onto my iPad. The clear cover doesn't add any garish color to what is a very elegant product. The screen protector fitted on easily with no bubbles and the port protectors (for the headphones and the cable ports) were a nice touch even nicer is that two of each were provided, so in case I lose one I have a spare. The case added almost nothing to the iPad and I could continue to use a more portable and good-looking case around my SwitchEasy protected iPad (I use the BookBook from Twelve South a very stylish faux book cover).

Recommended if you want some additional protection that doesn't add weight or bulk and retains the iPad's distinctive elegance.

I was going to go with an otterbox case to protect my ipad. Since i have a mobile business i was initially looking for something tough that would provide a good amount of abuse but i didn't like the idea of hiding the ipads looks so i went with this clear case. I have to say i'm happy i went with this one because it looks great. It kind makes the ipad look like those classic apple translucent macs and ipods from back in the day. The only thing i didn't like about it is one side doesn't sit very well and has some play in it do to the plastic not sitting flush againt the back of the ipad, I don't know if this is a defect from the factory or what but other than this minor thing i love the case. By the way, this case comes with an ipad screen protector. Although it doesn't tell you in the amazon description it does come with one. The screen protector is of good quality I was able to put it on with no problems, just make sure no dust gets on the ipad when you put it on because it will create bubbles.

Wonderful protection, slim profile. Another giant plus are the extras particularly the two small stands, which are super useful. I have seem many products for iPad / tablet stands out there, but the freebie ones that come with this case are simple, just work, and fold away for easy travel use. Love how they give you two of them as well. I also like the headphone jack and pin connector plugins. Bought it twice, once for me and once for a gift.

When I bought this item I wasn't sure about it. I couldn't tell much from the picture. But when I received it I simply loved it! My netbook fits in it perfectly, and the inside part is really protective! It's no bulky, which makes it very easy to carry around. The only downsize is that it takes time for you to be able to put the cord inside the external pocket because it's not big enough. PDair Black Luxury Silicone Case for Nokia N9

The PDair case is of good quality and feels nice in the grip and looks decent without affecting the Nokia N9's aesthetics.

Dell Axim X51v 624MHz Personal Digital Assistant w/3.7" TouchScreen LCD

• The Dell Axim X51v Pocket PC combines business features with high-powered multimedia performance.
• This Dell PDA boasts a large 3.7 inches VGA screen, a dedicated graphic processor, and both CF and SD expansion slots
• The VGA screen in the Dell Axim X51v Pocket PC offers four times higher resolution than standard QVGA displays.

This now-discontinued Dell Axim has several positive features. The only negative is that there's no slot available for a SIM card (the tiny card that you get from mobile phone carriers like T-Mobile). So this device is not compatible with major cell and wireless carriers that use SIM-cards for their phones and PDAs.

The positives are a fantastically gorgeous screen, a painless set-up procedure, and an intuitive interface the buttons are where you expect to find them, and reassigning buttons for my own business needs was a snap.

The device should work on open wi-fi networks; if your city or public library system has free wi-fi, then you should be able to use the Dell Axim if you're inside the range of a free wi-fi network. I say ** should work ** because my experience was hit and miss with this feature my AT&T/Starbucks wi-fi account doesn't work with this device, but the same logon name and password work just fine with every other mobile device that I have ever owned.

There is no slide-out keyboard but the on-screen keyboard feature is manageable.

My own use for this device is for managing product inventory with a program that was custom-built for a specific industry. I really do recommend this product for business use you might want to order one and see if it meets your needs before investing in a whole bunch of them. Also, since this is a long-discontinued product line, expect that you will be on your own when it comes to tech support, no matter who you buy from.

With one exception, the power cord works very well.

The exception is when I plug it into the scanner, it does not make a good connection. I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Then I have to rotate the cord's plug until it makes a connection with the scanner and can power the scanner. It is a good thing that the cigarette plug has a light that indicates when it is actually powering the scanner.

Outside of this one problem, the product does what I expect it to do.

rooCASE Ultra Slim (Black) Leather Case Cover Cover with Stand for Acer Iconia Tab A100 7-Inch Andro

The case fits well on the Acer Iconia 7" tablet. Keeps the tablet in place very well with a velcro system. Slim design does not add much to the thickness of the design and the stand works well, keeping the tablet at an angle. Does not have any type of closing system (magnetic or snap) so the case tends to open pretty easy. It is made very well and is good leather and all holes match up well. Good product.

I like this case the only thing i did not like about it was that the part that covers the right side (speakers) kinda muffles the sound. other than that little inconvenience this is a nice case especially with the kickstand feature that is awesome for watching Movies.

It does what it says...not let downs and looks nice.

I don't use it that much, but you won't be let down from description.

This case fits the A100 very nicely, and snugly, all cutouts for buttons, jacks & cameras are properly positioned. With the internal Velcro closure, you won't have to worry about the tablet shifting around in the case. It doesn't add much thickness to the tablet...but that also means the materials are thin, so I question if this case will live up to long term abuse. The inner lining is a suede-like material, and while it is very soft, it also picks up dust, lint and finger oils pretty well.

The stand feature is a bit of a nuisance to set up the cover folds back on itself, and you have to fight with prying up a small & very stiff tab on the back side to hold the cover in place. Once that is accomplished, you have to try to 'flatten' out the now folded crease on the cover, to make it sit flat. This does not always remain solid & stable.

As others have pointed out, there is no magnetic or other type of clasp to hold the cover down against the screen when closed, so you do have to pay attention to that easy for it to accidentally flip open on you when putting it in a bag or purse.

For $10 or so, it's a half decent custom fitted case, but I wouldn't pay much more than that (or anywhere close to the list price).

Very poor quality, feels and looks very cheap, should be sold a flea markets. I do not recommend this product, very poor for the price.

Good manufacturer. They missed the mark on this. Not a good scale.

Does not start measuring at zero. Measures in half pound increments instead of .2 increments.

Newell Runbbermaid missed the mark on this scale. It's also bulkier and wider than it needs to be.

The Pelouze 4040 400 pound scale was better, but that too measured in half pound increments. All scales should meaure in at least .2 increments

Biggest problem is the seller was not honest in the posting. I purchased a while ago and just pulled out of the box since I am now opening my business (returns have expired). The scale does not work, weighing the same item returns different results. The seller does not tell you that the scale will not weigh under .5 lbs. Much of my weighing is under .5 lbs. The scale does not weigh in .2 increments, its more like .4 increments. If you push on the scale a few times it will start reading in .2 increments, but how accurate is that? I don't even trust the readings I am getting. The yellow accent colors on the sides and reader are actually orange when you get it out of the box. No manual is provided.

I got ripped off.

I bought the scale based on previous reviews and the description. It works exacly as described. Would have gave it 5 stars but the description did not point out that the scale will not measure amounts less than 2 lbs (display starts at 2 lbs and goes up to 400) Easily portable and simple to use. Appropriately priced for what you get. I use it on the tailgate of my pickup truck to weigh scrap items that I purchase.

This has been a great scale for me in more ways than one. It's given me accurate readings for my packages... and I use it as a scale for my special needs child who doesn't have a great sense of balance to stand on my smaller bathroom scale.

I love the detachable reader feature for those large packages that would cover the weight reading otherwise. I'm very happy with this scale!

This scale is definitely worth the money. It works like a charm! I've even weighed myself for a more accurate result. It connects great to my computer, too! It looks just the way it looks in the picture and it shipped and delivered when expected. I wish it was a bit sooner but, whatever, I love this thing! Its really neat!
