Does not start measuring at zero. Measures in half pound increments instead of .2 increments.
Newell Runbbermaid missed the mark on this scale. It's also bulkier and wider than it needs to be.
The Pelouze 4040 400 pound scale was better, but that too measured in half pound increments. All scales should meaure in at least .2 incrementsBiggest problem is the seller was not honest in the posting. I purchased a while ago and just pulled out of the box since I am now opening my business (returns have expired). The scale does not work, weighing the same item returns different results. The seller does not tell you that the scale will not weigh under .5 lbs. Much of my weighing is under .5 lbs. The scale does not weigh in .2 increments, its more like .4 increments. If you push on the scale a few times it will start reading in .2 increments, but how accurate is that? I don't even trust the readings I am getting. The yellow accent colors on the sides and reader are actually orange when you get it out of the box. No manual is provided.
I got ripped off.I bought the scale based on previous reviews and the description. It works exacly as described. Would have gave it 5 stars but the description did not point out that the scale will not measure amounts less than 2 lbs (display starts at 2 lbs and goes up to 400) Easily portable and simple to use. Appropriately priced for what you get. I use it on the tailgate of my pickup truck to weigh scrap items that I purchase.This has been a great scale for me in more ways than one. It's given me accurate readings for my packages... and I use it as a scale for my special needs child who doesn't have a great sense of balance to stand on my smaller bathroom scale.
I love the detachable reader feature for those large packages that would cover the weight reading otherwise. I'm very happy with this scale!

This scale is definitely worth the money. It works like a charm! I've even weighed myself for a more accurate result. It connects great to my computer, too! It looks just the way it looks in the picture and it shipped and delivered when expected. I wish it was a bit sooner but, whatever, I love this thing! Its really neat!
