The battery really lasts a long time. The service is great, received it immediately. I always take an extra battery when I travel, just in case, because there is no warning when it may go.The wire on the battery pulled out after I installed it in the Kindle. Then it was so tight into the Kindle it was very hard to remove. Someone had to use a needle nose pliers to remove it. Amazon customer service person was very gracious in helping me return the product. I purchased a new battery from a battery store and they installed it.Sunday, September 28, 2014

XStylus Touch Capacitive Stylus Pen for iPad 1 iPad 2 New iPad + Magnetic Pen Holder (Black)
- The XStylus Touch is a transforming wide-grip heavy weight touch pen for the iPad.
- An ergonomic wide-grip heavy stylus: The pen weighs 32 grams. It is one of the heaviest iPad stylus on the market. The bulk of the weight comes from the heavy iron alloy filled pen core, and it is distributed toward the tip of the pen. This weight distribution and the expanded grip combined, minimize strain to the wrist and forearm.
- Responsive pen tip: The tip of the XStylus Touch glides smoothly on the iPad screen and it is optimized for sensitivity. Even the slightest strokes are easily registered. The soft tip is 7 mm in diameter, and the inside wall of the silicone tip is re-designed to give a super responsive contact. The silicon tip does not scratch the iPad screen.
- Bring it everywhere: The minimalistic crystal clear magnetic holder allows you to securely carry your XStylus and iPad to meetings, to classes, to rehearsals or to the cafe. We've tested the XStylus Touch and holder on over 50 popular iPad 1 & 2 cases, they work very well.

I've tried nearly all of the styluses out there for capacitive devices, looking for one that would enable me to quickly and accurately take notes on my iPad. I've been using my XStylus Touch for about 2 weeks now and it has become my single favorite iPad accessory. I leave the dock connector clip in all the time unless I need to charge my iPad at which point, I can simply stick the stylus to the Smart Cover. The XStylus really has everything I was looking for in a stylus, it's comfortable, elegant and most importantly; IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I cannot recommend this stylus highly enough. This is absolutely the best capacitive stylus available anywhere (at least until the pressure-sensitive JaJa comes out, then I'll review them head-to-head)Thursday, August 14, 2014

So far this charger has worked well. Charge times appear to be similar to the Apple model. It resembles the Apple charger but it is a little bigger and the connector is not the metallic connector Apple uses.
Be sure to REMOVE the, hard to see, plastic from around the Mac connector piece otherwise it may not charge properly.
Also the charge light stays on longer then the Apple model does when you disconnect it from the Mac. I'm hoping this isn't some capacitor problem.
It does not come with the heavy duty wall extension cord but that can be purchased separately if you need it. I didn't purchase the extension.
I recommend this based on the very reasonable price, less than 1/2 the cost of the official Apple model, and the similar results..

I have found this charger to be a worthy replication/spare of the charger that came with my MacBook Air (2012 model). The fact that there aren't many generic ones with the MagSafe2 concerned me, but this one is very compatible with my laptop and operates in exactly the same way as the original.Monday, June 23, 2014

rooCASE 3n1 Aluminun Case and Bluetooth Keybaord for the New iPad / Apple iPad 2 Wifi / 3G Model 16G
I was very relieved to see it first hand because it obviously is made by the same OEM as ZAGG. The quality and workmanship are excellent for the product and it setup in less than a minute working on my iPad2 following the simple directions that came in the box. It fits snug on the iPad so it won't fall off but not too snug to make it difficult to remove. I love the 17 special function keys. It came pre-charged enough to do the initial setup but I plugged in the USB cable that came with it and chagred the batteries overnight. My brother says his batteries last months with his casual use.
The keyboard is slightly different than the ZAGG as far as layout, The Return key is larger, the Delete key is smaller, the layout of the arrow direction keys are very logical compared to the ZAGG. The fold out stand I think again is a bonus on this over the ZAGG because it is physically wider making it a little more stable when supporting the iPad and easier to pull out.
Overall I am very pleased and highly recommend it since it is every bit the quality of the ZAGG-Logitech model but this was packaged with mine at the time of purchase a Capacitive Stylus and adequate screen protector. Personally I ordered a BodyGuardz full body protector to protect the exposed iPad back and it works SUPERBLY too. Get them both.
One feature that I would recommend they add is the magnet to trigger the iPad2 auto shutoff function which the ZAGG has. It would fit very easily under the space just to the left of the fold out stand and would automatically trigger the shutdown. I have a very thin and small rare earth magnet that triggers the shutdown but I haven't figured out how to remove the keyboard from the aluminum case without damage so I can install it. :)
I love this device and highly recommend it to anybody who is thinking about making a purchase!I bought this instead of the pricier Logitech version mainly because the review above made it seem like the two were nearly indistinguishable. But after experiencing this one and the logictech one, I can tell you what the price difference accounts for. But first, this keyboard. Shipped quickly, it was bundled with an anti glare screen protector (didn't use) and a stylus. The stylus was great, I'd purchase that on its own, though the headphone jack attachment was too small and left it hanging a little loose. I didn't use the screen protector because I've since returned the product. First, the user manual misspells "keyboard." Kind of important when that's what you're selling. Also, it didn't say how long a full charge would take, and gave a very vague "few months of standby time" description that made me cock my head and go, "huh?" The impreciseness carried over into the actual workmanship of the product, as some of the padding lining the inside of the case was cut such that the glue was showing or did not follow the contours of the hard case correctly.
Pairing the device was simple, and the hot keys are actually pretty cool. But, something kept happening where the Bluetooth connection would break (the B icon in the top right corner of the iPad would go dim instead of a solid white when connected to a device) and I would have to repress the Bluetooth button on the keyboard. The connection would last for about 5 minutes of continuous use until the symbol would go dark again. Also, one time after reconnecting the two devices, my iPad did what appeared to be an autonomous restart (aka, it crashed), which I suspect was prompted by an unstable Bluetooth connection since it had never done that before (iPad is about 4 months old). When I put the iPad into the case to test the case function of the keyboard, it was incredibly difficult to take out the manual accompanying the product suggests that you hold the case vertically and pry it out "using two hands." This was frustrating, especially since the design of it made it look like you would be able to just lift it out of the side without a bumper (which is how it works on the Logitech product). Then came the really infuriating part. Already deciding that I had probably gotten a defective product (because of the Bluetooth problem), I took the iPad out of the case to find that the moving part (also different from the Logitech product) that flips up to prop up the iPad had scratched the surface of my device. Should I have used the accompanying anti glare screen protector before putting it in the case? Maybe, but then I suspect I wouldn't get my full refund back.
Edit 9/20/11: I was contacted by PCMicrostore about the problem I had with the product and they were rather nice. The woman on the phone told me she had tested the keyboard with another iPad 2 and did not encounter any of the issue I had making me substantially certain I had gotten a lemon. Great customer service that wants to make their customers happy. I'd buy from them again!Nice keypad and reasonable cost. I would recommend this purchase. Letters are much closer together, but it just takes getting use to.Very good article, very good deal nice, very good price, item arrived on time, the packaging had an acceptable size

I have one of these pocket keyboards for my Hp Jornada 568, and while it is a great way to type on my jornada, it is missing one very important thing A CONTROL KEY ! It has shift, caps, numbers and a symbol key, but there is NO way to copy and paste text using only the HP keyboard, I have use the screen keyboard ctl-c and ctl-v or the stylus to copy and paste text. What HP needs to do now is release a driver update to provide a control key on the keyboard, since changing the actual keyboard now would not help the people who already have one, and they are not going to ship replacements to everybody.Read Best Reviews of Hewlett Packard Jornada 560 Series Pocket Keyboard Here
I love my 568 and also purchased the pocket keyboard. I give only two stars because the keyboard hides the power and USB connectors. If you install the keyboard you have to run off of battery power and must remove the keyboard to use synchronize or recharge. The manual is bad. You must remove the original cover of the Jornada to install the keyboard. The manual does not tell you how to do this.

If you drop it, the cover and the hinges could come off. Good luck finding the hinges again! Now when I use my keyboard with my jornada, i have to do without a cover becasue those flimsy little hinges are long gone. And I overpaid for mine because I bought it ... at my local Brandsmart. Should have come to [Amazon.com], but it was an impulse buy. The keyboard also seems to add a lot a heft to the pocket pc, even though it doesn't feel that heavy on it own. Other than that, it's great. It beats the hunt and peck method you would otherwise have to use! And it lights up so you can use it in the dark.Sunday, June 1, 2014

This is an updated model of the KP-810-10, it's the KP-810-10A. The OLD 810-10 has a cut off corner on the right side for EZ visual distinction; make sure you get the 810-10A. "A" with no cut off corner. There are a lot of middle men sellers for this unit giving it differing names that omit the model number making it easy to buy the wrong one, if you are still looking around.
** UPDATE 5-5-2012 UPDATE **
iPazzPort has been coming out with "upgrades" to this model on a regular basis. I have spoken to the guy at unisen-usa. the USA distributor for iPazzPort. He indicated that the manufacture "iPazzPort" is currently, continually, perfecting their models. iPazzPort has already released two newer models than this (priced higher) with the most valuable added features being an IR learning remote function, air mouse ability & a back side Media Center circular clustered button layout. The KP-810-18V allows you to clone & replace almost any other remote you have with it. It also has a speaker & microphone wireless connection to your PC so you can plug the remote into a headset or headphones; making voice control possible to boot!
WIRELESS DISTANCE REPORT SELLER PERFORMANCE
I read a number of reviews where the units were not performing well as far as wireless distance and pairing problems. Mine goes 28 feet (I measured it) line of site & 10-15 feet through walls. I have not had to pair it at all; it just worked out of the box. (envelope in this case). Pre-Order, I e-mailed the manufacture about the distance problems; they indicated that older models do have a distance problem by replying, "new revisions don't have any problems with distance". (indicating the older revisions did & do). This seller has the new revisions in stock; at least that is what I got. The standard free shipping (USPS) took 5 days and arrived in a envelope with no paperwork. Documentation is included in the re-closing plastic, peg hanger' clear display packaging.
PERFORMANCE USAGE
The iPassPort KP-810-10A works as advertised for me, but keep in mind IT IS VERY SMALL & LIGHT! 2.25 x 6 and a 1/4 inch thick. It is made to be used holding it in your hands and typing with your thumbs, or one handed finger typing. The touch pad is small but works great, it's 1.25" square. You may have to fine tune your preferences in the MS Win Control Panel Mouse setup for your double tap and precision settings.
The buttons-keys are beveled up in the center making it easy to feel each one and confirm pressing them as they quietly click. The back-light works very well, but a little uneven light wise. My cat loves the red laser pointer & my fish are terrorized by it. It is a little awkward to use at first but would work in a demo.
5-5-2012 PERFORMANCE UPDATE 7 MONTHS OF USAGE LATER!
I have noticed I can no longer rely on the radio signal being sent when I press a key getting to the receiver. If I type a sentence I always have to go back and correct it. This problem seems to be getting worse. I guess its the ware of usage on the keys that is doing it.
BATTERY LIFE
I have had the unit for about 2 weeks now. I had to recharge it once (after the original charge when I received it). It lasted a week with pretty heavy usage. It recharged fast, 23 hours (I was not watching it when the light came on indicating it was fully charged). The unit does not seem to use much power if left on while not in use. According to what I read, it does not shut itself off after a time out period, but it does not seem to make much difference.
WHAT'S INSIDE?
I dissembled the unit by removing the 6 screws on the back. The 4 Volt battery is about 1.25 x 1 x .2 very small and not replaceable. There is 1 main PCB with the laser and transmitter-receiver as tiny separate components. There is no visible antenna but that does not seem to degrade it's performance. The keys don't fall out and are built into the face. It looks well made.
PRO:
It works as advertised and I no longer have a full size keyboard clogging up my remote control table. No distance problem for me at all. I have no regrets.
Perhaps even more attractive, the manufacture has been constantly in R&D on this product line; perfecting it and making future upgrades not only possible, but affordable. Even their high end units are under $50 USA
CON:
1. There is no SHIFT-DEL key for permanent delete. You have to send everything to the trash can first. (press FN-DEL

GTMax Brown PU Leather Case + 3x Clear LCD Screen Protector + 3 Stulus Pen (Black/Silver/Red) for Am
CONS: 1)The leather is not top quality, not sure just how long it will stand up to regular use. 2)The screen protectors aren't really that easy to attach. The first one I applied had residue from the little tab you pull off after attaching it. Even using the little card while applying the protector, it was very difficult to get all the bubbles out.
I only gave this 3 stars because of the quality of the case. However, given all the extras that come with it, and the low price, it's still worth buying.

I have had my V37 for almost two years now and I love it. I upgraded from V35 which I also liked. I find the display bright and easy to read; performance is great (< 2 seconds from power off to access to calendar etc), battery life is acceptable and functionality is great! I use all the PM features constantly. I use it to transfer files around, I listen to music, read books, get news, sports and weather. I have purchased several after-market applications that enhance some of the features but even off-the-shelf I loved it. I highly recommend it. I wish Viewsonic would keep the line going. I would buy their next one right away.Regarding the previous review concerning battery anomalies they can be fixed. However, all PDA's have problems with dumping memory when the battery runs out. You will learn how long your PDA lasts given your personal use, and how often you must overnight-charge it (or use a travel charger).I've had many Pocket PC's this is the fastest, lightest, easiest to use that I have tried. Much better than many of the iPaqs.

Kensington 33374 Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer
- Compact wireless presenter with an ergonomic design and easy fingertip control, and a bright, easy-to-see laser pointer
- 2.4GHz wireless technology delivers interference-free control of your pointer from up to 60 feet away
- Wireless USB receiver fits inside controller's storage space so it never gets lost
- Compatible with Windows 8
- Runs on two AAA batteries, and measures 1.75 x 0.75 x 4 inches
First, the laser button also puts Powerpoint into presentation mode, a feature absent on the previous model. However, rather than presenting the current screen in presentation mode, it goes to the first page of the presentation. I could see this being a disadvantage if you want to use your laser pointer while being in the normal view mode. However, others had previous complained that there was not a way of automatically going back into presentation mode if you accidentally exit out of presentation when you're on the last slide -something that this feature really doesn't fix.
The USB transmitter that plugs into the computer is nearly half the size in the new version, which is nice, given the bulky size of the previous version.
The device now runs on AAA batteries instead of a smaller, disc-type battery. This is nice, since you had to go to a store to pick up replacement batteries for the old version.
The new device is also slightly heavier, but not significantly so.
Otherwise, the device seems the same (color, texture are slightly different)
Buy Kensington 33374 Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer Now
I love the Kensington presenters. The best aspect of them is the simplicity. If I am running a conference, I can just hand it to speakers (academics mainly) and they can use it right away. So having a new version taking AA batteries was very exciting. It's not that the old disk batteries were that bad: I just never had a small screwdriver to get to them! This new version has some improvements: the USB thingy now stays in its holder better, so it doesn't fall out in my backpack. The overall feel of the presenter is good. But I need to find a small screwdriver, put in a new disk battery, go back to my old presenter and give this one to someone else. As others have noted, pushing the laser has the side effect of sending an F5 to the system. No problem if in powerpoint, but for any other program, this leads to all sorts of weird behavior. For instance, when I switch from powerpoint to illustrate something in Excel and press the laser, up pops a "Go to" window. Confusing and annoying to all concerned.
The advantage of being able to start a powerpoint presentation (which is what F5 does in powerpoint) is vastly outweighed by the inability to use the laser pointer with any other software.
Read Best Reviews of Kensington 33374 Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer Here
I've compared about 5 or 6 presenters in actual use for a corporate application. All work well and get the job done. This one worked flawlessly -plugs in, recognized by pc, and buttons are working immediately. The functionality is limited to 4 buttons though and a laser, which is fine for basic needs. If that's all you need (forward, back, stop, laser), then this is a good choice. I prefer the Logitech for the added convenience of having a volume control and timer, but if those features aren't important, this is an equally good unit.Want Kensington 33374 Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer Discount?
I bought this item on Amazon several months ago (as an awesome lightning deal nonetheless) and I've been able to use it and test it. I own and primarily use a MacBook Pro (now 1 generation old) running OS X 10.5 Leopard so my main concern in purchasing this item was its compatibility with the Mac OS and IWork '08 version of PowerPoint (namely Keynote). I am happy to say that the item seems to function without any trouble with Keynote! For various reasons, I also run Microsoft Office 2008 Mac and I'm happy to report that the device also functions with Powerpoint. Perhaps the best thing of all with this wireless presenter is that there is no software to install. Note to Mac users when you put the receiver into the USB port OS X will prompt you with a wizard thinking that the receiver is actually a keyboard just close the dialog, no harm no foul. Overall, a great buy, highly recommended! The Kensington wireless remote with laser pointer works exactly as advertised. Put the USB receiver into a PC's USB port, give it a few seconds to be recognized (we tested this with Windows XP SP2), fire up a PowerPoint presentation (we use PowerPoint 2003), and the buttons move the presentation forward, backward, or hide it. We had no problem using it from the back of our lunchroom, about 50' to the laptop.Caveat: putting the receiver back in the main unit turns it off, which is good, unless someone wants to use just the laser pointer. The receiver is very small and could get lost easily (even if someone puts it in a pocket, it would be easy to forget). If you pop out the receiver slightly but leave it in the unit, the laser is on but the receiver won't get lost.

Char-Broil 3184727 Deluxe Electric Rotisserie

This item is great!! It installed right on the pre drilled holes on my BBQ and I was off and running! Only drawback is that you have to remove the brackets in order to put your grill back on. I cooked a chicken and it was beautiful!Read Best Reviews of Char-Broil 3184727 Deluxe Electric Rotisserie Here
Char-Broil is generally known as having a pretty good product line; this is not one of them. The spit is a two piece affair that is assembled by screwing one half into the other half with a washer between them. The problem is that the threaded portion is too long to be tightened down to the other half; so it breaks as you attempt to tighten it down as instructed by the sheet accompanying the product. However, based on other reviews (which I wish I had read prior to purchasing the product) this is not new news, so let me add dealing with Char-Broil.Had I purchased this item locally, I would have brought it back to the seller and demanded either a refund or a new one. Since that is not what happened, I contacted Char-Broil. Even though this product has no warranty information on or in the box I knew I would get some satisfaction if I harangued them enough. Surprisingly it wasn't all that difficult, once I explained to the customer service rep what the problem was and that the item had not been used yet he said they could fix the problem and make it right, then he asked where I purchased it. When I said Amazon, he said that I would have to send the item back to Char-Broil (using a trackable service) and they would replace it; however, here is the rub, I had to send the entire item back, including the parts I had already assembled on the grill. So, I took all the parts back off the grill, then put them back in the box and marked the box with the RMA number supplied and using the shipping box it came in from Amazon, I repacked it and shipped it via UPS to Char-Broil, at my expense.
The day after it arrived in Georgia (where it was being shipped) I received an automated email from Char-Broil requesting that I contact them in reference to my item returned. When I contacted them, I found that what they wanted was a credit card to charge $8.95 for shipping and handling to return my replacement product to me. Needless to say, this did not go over well with me and after some discussion they decided to return it at their expense. Be forewarned, Char-Broil's warranty on ALL items is that the consumer pays shipping in both directions. I hate to think what would happen if there was something wrong with my grill!
When the replacement item gets back to me, I will see if the threaded portion still appears too long to fit into the other side and if so, I am going to grind it down some until it fits easily and rely on the lock washer to keep the two halves together.

Everything is fine with this except for the spit. It is a two piece contraption that has no strength. It worked fine for the first two times I used it but just now as I was roasting two chickens it broke and dumped our dinner into the flames. DON'T BUY IT.Monday, February 3, 2014
eForCity Hotsync & Charging USB Cable for HP iPAQ
Pros:
Snug fit probably won't mess up as easily over time assuming it doesn't break the interface in the PDA...
Rolls up into something more convient that the ordinary to carry around.
Universal compatibility with charging systems since it's plain USB (you can buy adapters to plug into a wall or car -in fact, there are systems that can provide power to a USB device via a rechargable battery and this works with those as well as any adapter.)
Great price! Well, actually, it feels to me like it is priced at what its worth, but for some reason the usual price is around $20 or so which is ridiculous for just a charger/sync cable...
Cons:
Cable could be a little longer. I like to leave my PDA charging on a dresser, but I'm going to have to use an extention cord just to do this now.
USB ONLY. You can't plug in the standard charger that comes with the PDA for power. This wouldn't be so bad, but USB only allows up to 500mA per bus. I don't know exactly how much power the PDA uses while running, but it seems to be enough that you don't really get much if any of a charge while plugged into USB whereas the charger provides 2A of power so it easily lets the PDA run purely off of external power AND charge at the same time. But then I'm not entirely certain it can't still do this as the PDA surely can't use all of 500mA or its little 940mAh batter wouldn't last very long at all...I got this for my iPaq hx2795 and it works good for transferring files. but it needs activesync and it doesn't charge. it is the same speed as the dock that came with the Pocket PC. the main advantage over the dock is it is more portable, it is 3 feet long. I was hoping that it could be used without activesync but you can't, and that it was faster then the dock but it's not, and that it will charge my PPC but it doesn't.

The cable works fine, and the price is excellent. The only reason I did not give this a 5th star is that I ordered 15 of these and they each arrived 3 ft -not the 5 ft as detailed in the technical specifications. Since our field sales people will be using these for customer presentations, the extra 2 ft would have been really helpful. But, we are in a time crunch and need to work with what we have in hand. Overall, this is a decent cable at a great price.Read Best Reviews of eForCity Hotsync & Charging USB Cable for HP iPAQ Here

This would not work with item listed as being compatible. I do not know if this is a pattern or a singular situation.Wednesday, January 29, 2014
