I tested out my HDMI audio cable today and it works great. It's very easy to use. Just plug the HDMI cable into your TV and the other end into your MAC computer. Then use your TV remote to select the video source. It's either HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. Then open up a video or Netflix on your computer. You should see a window pop up on your TV and you can move it around using your mouse pad. I'm very excited that the sound worked great too. My Mac is a 2009 model. This HDMI cable was affordable at only $13, it sells for $50 on the Apple website. I am very happy with my purchase.

Very very bad quality. I got this as a gift for my girlfriend and was extremely disappointed in the purchase. The image was fuzzy and looked like something a 6 year old could make. I just received this modem and gave it a try. People like me who require a dial-up modem -whether because broadband is too expensive, or just plain unavailable -have it rough when it comes to using the Internet. With built-in modems (and serial ports for old-fashioned external modems) becoming more and more rare in pre-configured desktop systems and laptops, the need for external USB modems (such as this item) will continue to exist, as long as broadband remains expensive and unavailable in some regions.

This is a good modem for those using Windows. With Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 3, the modem was detected without a hitch; however, the included driver CD was required to complete the modem installation. You can also download the drivers using a computer already connected to the Internet, and transfer the file to the computer for which you are setting up this modem.

With Windows 7 (Home Premium, 64-bit), installation is more plug-and-play. Just plug the modem in, wait for Device Manager to automatically set the modem up, and that's it -no installation CD required, no fuss.

Speed with XP and Win7 matches the best I've gotten with a dial-up modem (28.8kbps is my top speed with this phone line, and I get that speed with this modem as well).

As for Linux (Ubuntu 10.04, 32-bit), things didn't go so well. The driver was not detected at all (which was no surprise to me, as in the Windows setups the word "SoftModem" came up -not good for Linux machines), and the modem was useless.

The indicator lights on the modem baffle me. There are two lights -a "power" light, and an "online" light. While idle and unconnected to the Internet, the power light remains lit... constantly. When connected to the Web, the online light stays lit at all times. The power light serves as a data-transmission indicator... or so it seems. The thing is, the light blinks when there's data passing through, sometimes it is lit solid when there's data passing through. When there is no data passing through, the light my blink, or it may just stay lit. Sometimes it blinks slowly, sometimes quickly. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the indicator, so I tend to keep an eye on my modem activity via the taskbar and connection status applet.

One interesting thing to note about this modem is that it comes with a retracting phone cable. I'm used to getting plain-Jane phone cords with modems, so having one around the house available that's a snap-back is nice.

Another (more important) note: The install CD that comes with the modem is a mini CD, so it is too small to use in most standard optical drives -you will need one with a spindle that "grabs" discs. I would be afraid to use it in a "floating" tray-load drive. It absolutely will not work in your standard slot-load drives. If in doubt, get the drivers now, load them onto a cheap flash drive, and have that ready when it comes time to install.

Overall, I give this modem a mild recommendation. The price is OK -you could get a USB hardware modem that works with Linux for about this price. There really is nothing "special" about this item, but it works with Windows XP and Windows 7 with no headaches. Whether it is built to last remains to be seen. I'll update this review somewhere down the line and let you know if and when it finally gives up the ghost. The device touts a 5-year limited warranty, but we'll see (I don't have a lot of faith in warranties).

The modem worked perfectly. The operating system automatically recognized the modem once I put it in the USB drive. Haven't had issues with the modem...wish I could say that about my dial up provider.

I have an iMac 10.6.

The (mini) install CD would not fit in the drive. I had to download the drivers/software from their website.

The drivers/software crashed my computer: causing a startup freeze.

I had to erase the hard drive and reinstall the system.

It is not listed ANYWHERE that the software is NOT 10.6 compatible; not even in the owner's manual. In fact, some of the websites list it as 10.4 and up. I did not find out until I contacted the product tech support that it is only 10.4/10.5 compatible.

So warning to all: Not Mac 10.6 compatible!

I have a program "pc anywhere" that connects office comp to home comp through landline phone cable. Both computers were older. When my home pc failed I had trouble getting a laptop with an internal cable modem. Rather than have to get a whole new program, this external adapter has worked great. The only problem is if I disconnect the adapter, I have to reload the program software again to recognize the adapter..so I don't unplug it.

Looks great and pen works ok.stylus sticks to screen though and the rubber has already fallen off twice. Am buying a proper one for daily use.

I noticed this stylus has a very nice case and design and is comfortable in my hand BUT I do not recommend buying this if you have an otterbox screen cover. I guess it would be ok with the thin screen shield but with the thick otterbox shields its very unsensitive and hard to click on things. So if you want do use this and have the best experience then I recommend having no screen cover to reduce its drag on the screen. THIS IS A GREAT BUY FOR THE PRICE.

I guess what caught my eye is for the price you can't go wrong for what you get.

The wooden case is an added bonus and nice for something that you would normally see in more expensive pens. First and foremost, I got this for the stylus as I wanted something cheap, but not too cheap. I like the fact that its a full size pen measuring about 6" as some of the stylus I have seen barely reach 5".

I noticed I get various degree of sensitivity when using the stylus on my smartphones and tablets all which have the same manufacturer screen protectors on them. On my tablet I don't have to press down on the stylus, but on both phones I have to press down sometimes instead of tapping. This isn't really an issue and it could be the screen protector or the device manufacturer's screen sensors. I'm getting another type of stylus shortly so I'll be able to verify this.

As a pen, it works flawlessly and easily replaceable. I also like the fact I don't have to take the cover off to use it.

You can't go wrong here for what you are getting for this price and I plan on purchasing additional pens as gifts. Wish I ran into this earlier as it would've been great stocking stuffers.

I am very pleased with this product. Very functional and attractive too. One improvement I would recommend is a pocket or slot of some kind to hold the stylus. I initially thought the stylus would be useless, but I was wrong, I use it all the time!

This is so useful. You'll only be limited by your imagination. choice of black and white or color scan as well as choice of the resolution for your item. I thought this would be my solution to the 2-3 things I wanted to scan in a magazine before donating them to the library. It seemed like it was going to be perfect until I noticed the bottoms were cut off every page I scanned. I tried scanning slow, fast and in between. I reset all of the settings and calibrated the white balance twice. Nothing worked. My scan would always show the bottom of the page not scanned even if I scanned the table, magazine page and let it run back onto the table. The scan would show wood, magazine page with bottom cut off and then wood again.

I called VuPoint's customer service but the woman I spoke to was more interested in chewing gum than offering any helpful answers or suggestions. She told me just to return it, which I did. I had no issues with the return and this review is on only my experience with the product itself.

I'm half tempted to get another one just to see if it does the same thing and if I ended up with a defective item but I'd rather try to find one in person to test out before ordering online again.

I am thankful for a scanner that is easy to take with me on the road. It only works on level surfaces so I can't scan pages in a book or anything like that. But for what I need, scanning receipts and documents, this is great. I was very pleased with how easy it is to use. Make sure you buy a mini SD card to go with it so you don't have to come up with one after it arrives!

I was very excited to purchase this product. Basically, it does what it's supposed to do. However, I had to return the product for a refund because the device does not let you save your preferred settings after power-off. It returns to the factory default settings each time. I confirmed this limitation with the manufacturer before I returned it. I don't understand why it would let you "save" preferred settings which are only "saved" while the device is on. I could understand if the saved settings would be lost when the battery dies or is revoved. But I don't understand why they are lost at power-off. For example, if you set the scanner to auto time-out after 3 minutes of non use, you have to reset your prefernces when you turn it on again. Or make no changes and just scan using the default settings--which are fine for most applications. Most users wouldn't find this to be a problem. It just happend to be a "deal breaker" for me.This was my only complaint. Otherwise, the unit functioned flawlessly. Hence the 3 star rating.

I was really excited to buy the product but have run into a few problems. Videos will not convert correctly or play on the device. Also, the directions were awfull. I was told that the device was faulty and to return it. I will, but hope that the next one will perform better. Good things about it are that the pictures are nice, i was able to easily put pictures on it, although some must be converted. I was able to figure out how to add music after some time but it definately takes patience on account of the misleading directions. Overall i say it was ok because for the most part they helped me through a lot of the problems i was having with the device, It is a good product for the money.

This a good product for its price. For (...)dollars you can add a modem or expand memory or add a wireless ethernet or ethernet or make your IPAQ GPS capable. But one thing product lacks is that it uses the battery of the IPAQ so it reduces the time you can use the IPAQ. The PC card expansion has its own battery so it helps the IPAQ last a little longer. And the PC card expansion has more items that can be used with it. So you just have to see which is more usable for you the CF card expansion or the PC card expansion or none if you dont need the expansions.

I bought this Expansion pack when i bought my new Compaq Ipaq 3765. I have used it for about a month now and i really like it. The Ipaq fits in it very well and it does make the Ipaq easier to hold when i am walking around the office or at home answering email or surfing the net. I use a Linksys compact flash 802.11b card plugged into this sleeve to connect to my company's intranet I do have a problem with the size in that none of the cases will hold the Ipaq with the expansion slot on. This makes it a little hard because when i leave the office i have to take the sleeve off to put the unit in its case for the trip home, or take the chance of scratching the face of the Ipaq. I am kind of worried about how long the connector will last with this kind of use.

Over all it is a very good product. I have not had any problems with this piece and for the price it is worth it... you won't go wrong.

My iPAQ came with this expansion pack and it made all the difference in the world to just the organizer it is by itself.

I have a 256 Compact Flash Card where I have my MP3's and of course all my documents and photographs, I also have a modem to check my e-mail anywhere, and a Network card to connect at the office.

It is kind of bulky, but for me, it is as functional as a PC without having to carry the Laptop.

Before I begin, I love my iPaq. However, this is my biggest gripe with the iPaq, they need this expansion pack to throw a CF card into them. Without it, the iPaq is small and sleek; with it, it's huge. And, with the sheer amount of stuff out there with Compact Flash connectivity (modem, networking, CF cards, etc), I think it is inane that Compaq didn't at least include it with the iPaq. Or, better yet, build a CF slot into the machine.

Still, it is necessary for what I think is the best PDA on the market. While I think the idea is dumb, it works great and isn't all that expensive. Hence my 4 star rating

I really like this case. It is snug, protects most of the BlackJack's important parts, and still keeps the phone thin and easy to slip into a pocket. The only thing holding this back from a 5-star rating is the screen is still very much exposed, and once you snap it on your BlackJack, you'll have a bear of a time getting it off. With the BlackJack's relatively short battery life, swapping out a battery is necessary once in a while, and with the Active Case, you need a small screwdriver to pry it apart -literally. I guess it only proves there is no perfect case out there. Still, a good strong choice.

I like the overall design of this case. However, it would be better if there were a soft lining inside to cushion the screen. I bought the case to protect the screen while it's in my purse. However, since there is no lining at all, especially since the phone fits so tightly, I'm concerned that the screen will be scuffed with use over time.

This case was exactly what I was looking for, no belt clip, no bulge just protection for the phone. I'm very happy with it.

Started using this type of case with a Blackberry Curve(it came with the phone) and found that liked this style of phone carry so after getting a Droid X I searched for the same type. Found the PDAIR site and have been totally happy with everything except the price but you get what you pay for grandaddy always said! Some of the other reviews listed the inner liner as a concern but I dont see the issue, The outside is some super soft leather and but the insides made of some sort of slippery synthetic swede and has not harmed my screen in the 2 years I have used it. "cant charge while in the pouch" this is accurate but a little snip of the elastic would uncover the charge port i would never charge my phone while in the pouch anyway,I would be worried about the heat build up. I have purchased 3 of these direct from pdair in Hong Kong for myself and family ,its a quality product and a great company to deal with. Will be getting one of these again when I upgrade to the Razr Maxx.

Great case for someone who loves their DROID X. The only reason it didn't receive 5 stars is because the phone cannot be charged while in the case. other than that 1 flaw, the case is made from (seems like) high quality leather and a flexible band on the sides. a bit pricey but good investment to take care of your DROID. Highly recommended.

The Styra stylus replacement is SO much better than the original Zire 72 stylus!It fits like a glove in the stylus silo and won't slide out like cheaper alternatives. You won't believe how much you'll use the ballpoint pen part of the styles. Many times I'll have my Zire with me, but I'll need a real pen to write down a phone number for someone (that's in my PDA). I haven't used the reset part of the stylus yet, since the reset button is already easy enough to push with the stylus tip.

I also love the weight and feel of the Styra. It feels like a quality item and I'm hoping that the tip on this new stylus will scratch my screen protectors a lot less than the original stylus. Perhaps I just have low quality protectors (Fellowes).

I like the product. I had hoped that there would have been more styles and covers to choose from but it suffices. It is comfortable and protects the device.

I put my Christmas gift from my husband(Thanks Babe) in its new spiffy Navy blue cover, and it worked perfectly well, just as if it was in no case at all...Blue is my favorite color, and was grateful the color was even offered. The little pen also works great! the only complaint...no where to place the pen, relevant to the tablet, (ie: velcro or pocket)

I have the same problem. For some reason the tablet will not work once it is in this cover. I am having to return it and get something else.

I bought 3 Visio tablets with 3 of these cases, in all 3 instances the Visio tablet works perfectly...once this case is on it, all the tablet says is.."loading"... And does not work. Take the case off, it works again. Not sure why it's making the tablet not work, it fits fine, and looks very nice which is why 2 stars, but it's of no use, because the tablet just won't work with this on it. I do not recommend buying.

These screen guards provide MINIMAL protection; it's really thin and is damaged with horrific ease.

Each screen in the package is set up like this in layers: sticker to help place the protective sheet on without using your fingers (therefore preventing fingerprint marks), thin film (the screen guard), adhesive plastic (so that the film doesn't stick to any surface during packaging), and another sticker (to help peel off the third layer, the adhesive plastic).

I received mine and was very happy to put it on immediately. So I took my phone and followed the instructions given to me. I peeled off the adhesive plastic so that I could put the screen guard on and then spent a little bit of time aligning it. When I finally got it just right, I smoothed the guard onto my phone screen. And then I tried to get the sticker off when the screen guard ripped. I had been extremely careful and gentle with the screen guard, but it simply ripped.

Thankfully, the package holds two guards. I attempted it again, this time being even more careful. When I finally got this second on to the point where I had to take the sticker off, I was prepared to spend a while carefully peeling the sticker off. So I gently eased the sticker off, which stretched my guard. So then I had a screen guard which fit oddly in one corner where it had been stretched.

So you'll either end up tearing or stretching your guard while putting it on.

But that's not all. The protection it affords is minimal at best:

@ I tried smoothing the screen out with the assist stick. It left a big scratch mark. I thankfully noticed it rather quickly and stopped immediately, but the damage was done.

@ After washing my hands, I got a phone call and had to pick up. Wiping the water drops off with a soft towel left small scratch marks.

@ My friend, upon seeing my new phone, asked to hold it. Her fingernails were not long (and the phone recognizes finger touch rather than force, so there's no way she was using her fingernails to navigate the it), but somehow the guard was scratched. (I was even watching her -I love my new phone, after all -and saw her being being extremely delicate with trying it out, but the screen guard still got scratched.)

@ I accidentally dropped my phone and went to catch it. Somehow within the time I dropped it and the time I caught it in mid-air, the screen guard ripped (READ: it looks like someone slashed my screen guard open). I don't know how this happened, seeing as the only thing that could have ripped it would be my fingernails (I wear no hand jewelry, and my watch is on my other hand). But my fingernails are always well-trimmed and short (I practice martial arts), so I don't know how it could have happened.

-----BOTTOM LINE-----

My experience with this guard has been awful at best. Other people may have had luck with their product (maybe mine was defective), but I wouldn't suggest this to any of my friends; it would be far too cruel.

Easy to apply and looks great! There are so many different products out there that I wasn't sure what to get but for the price I figured I might as well give this a try. I've only been using it a little while so I can't comment on its long-term effectiveness but for right now its excellent!

The instructions for application are very easy to understand. The part I like best is the ability to reapply it if necessary. Some of the other products I looked at had a wait time between application and using the phone but this one was instant.

**updated on November 3, 2010** I still love this product! I messed around with it and got dust underneath the screen protector (oops...). But, just like the description said, they can be reapplied! I didn't have the instructions or the application 'tool' with me when I reapplied it, but you basically wash it off and then stick it back on!

Nearly every item listed as for the pre plus shows a picture of a sprint palm pre instead. This screen protector has a notch for the top silver bar and a tiny divot for the microphone, perfect for this phone. It came with clear explicit directions, even going so far as to indicate on the wrapping which side goes to the phone. As a nice bonus, I ordered it standard shipping on July 31st and received it on August 2nd.

30 bucks is a lot for a little case like this, but it is so much better then any other one I have used. I have used it everyday for 3 years on 2 phones and it has no rips only slight cosmetic wear.

This is a very good case for DroidX.

Unlike other cases, pulling out and putting back DroidX into this is easy. And the magnetic lock on the flap keeps it closed.

And this is a horizontal case which is quite good.

I got this leather case protector for the Droid X2/X, taken the very limited choices Verizon offers.

It is slim and the X2/X fits in nicely. It does not position the phone too far out from the belt and is not bulky. Putting it into the case the right direction, you can keep head phones connected and also charger can be connected while in the case. The leather is of good quality. The clip is strong and slipping off the belt is not an issue at all. The clip cannot be removed and also there is no 360 degree adjustment. The phone topside is not covered completely, so holding off water/rain/spills can happen.

All over, very reasonable choice, shipment takes a little bit, but it is worth the waiting time.
