I got this knowing that it was silicon, but it was the only reasonably priced case for my flip video camera. The case was fine for a while, but slowly started to loosen up. The case is EXTREMELY hard to put in your pocket, but if you are putting it in a purse or something it will work perfectly fine. Dust was also a problem with this case if you are as OCD as I am. I was constantly rubbing the dust off whenever I grabbed the thing. The only upside, which was pretty important was that the case really does protect your camera. I have had a couple drops and falls and the camera looks brand new. So looking at the pros and cons, you decide if this product is right for you. Hope this helped.. :)

Compared to the silicone protective cover for my iPod, this feels rough and kind of unpleasant. It's also a looser fit, at least for the Flip Mino HD. Adequate but if I could have felt the material before I bought it, I might have chosen something else. The checkered texture on the more closed side, for a better grip, is also unattractive to me and seems to collect dust.

Fit is good and it allows all controls to be operated well. Definately adds a level of protection for falls, and a little adheasion when in a shirt pocket.

I just returned this bag. it looks like a quality bag but my 11.6 inch MacBook Air does not fit in the pocket. Even after trying to slightly force it in the MacBook would not fit. I had someone else look at it and he concluded the same thing. So back it goes.

This bag is just the right size for carrying your Macbook Air 11.6, if perhaps a wee bit small for my purposes. Because I opted to install an mCover hard shell on my Air, what would otherwise probably be a perfect fit is almost too snug. I uploaded some pictures to the product page that show the bag with my Macbook. The bag seems durable, with high-quality parts, with good stitching and thick nylon fabric. A side pocket on one side runs 90% of the width before curving stylishly down. However, I was unprepared for the amount that the side flap sticks out (see pictures) and I think that over time that part is going to get a little dog-eared. Other than that, I'm very pleased by this cute little bag.

I will preface this review with the following:

After ordering, I almost planned to return the item after reading that one reviewer found that their McBookAir 11.6 inch model did not fit in the inner pocket of the case. The reviewer must have had a first generation model AirBook. My model was released in August 2010 and in fact DOES fit perfectly in the inner pocket.

With that said, I must tell all of you I totally love the case. I have room for the power adapter, a small mouse and my iPOD Touch fits in the cell phone pocket as well. I would highly recommend this case!

I got one of these. It is bigger than advertised--my Tungsten rattled around inside this case. The stylus fell out easily. Gomadic sent two more cases trying to find one that fit better. I ended up returning all of them since none fit well, so I cannot recommend this particular product (0 stars). However, Gomdadic went overboard trying to make me happy. I recommend them without any hesitation (5 stars).

Other than the size issue, it was a fairly nice case--high quality vinyl or heavily "tanned" leather (not sure which). Workmanship seemed fine.

My old battery was going fast, wouldn't hold a charge very well so I got this for a replacement. It's a last ditch effort to extend the life of an obsolete product. The iPAQ was a versatile instrument, PDA, multimedia display unit, and an integrated GPS. Too bad they pulled the support. The battery doesn't hold it's charge as well as the OEM battery. It's just serviceable. I've had to swap it out with the old one many times to make some use of it untethered to the charging cable.

I liked the headset and have no issues with the sound or audio functions. I have had the headset a bit less than a month and it just broke. There have been no drops/wire pulls or anything else of that nature. Pulling the ear pieces apart to put a head between stresses the thin part of the headset leading to the earpiece. There was an audible crack last week when I was slipping them on and I've been even more careful since then, but it still broke. Going to try and get it taken care of through warranty, but it still seems like a weakness unless the one I received had a defect that I did not notice.

I spoke with Jason at the Microsoft Replacement desk and had no issues requesting a replacement though it's on backorder and may be a bit of a wait. That call was fairly short and pleasant. Bumping the review up from 2 stars to 3 as the combination of good audio and good customer service make it more palatable.

We purchased a very cheap Plantronics headset to record demos and trainings using a screen capture software. The headset was really cheap, but when recording it had a fuzzy sound. I wanted to purchase a more expensive headset to get a more premium recording sound. I looked for noise cancellation. Most reviews on the headsets I found still had background noise, even though it stated noise cancellation as a recording feature. This product did not have a review so I thought I would provide one for future buyers. I literally just unboxed this headset and hooked it up. I was blown away by the quality of the speakers. It fit very comfortably and most importantly it recorded a crisp and clean track. No background fuzz or anything. I cannot give my opinion on how long it will last, but the durability seems there. It came with a tie string pouch for it to be placed in. Overall very good product!!!

I'm no Microsoft fanboi by any stretch of the imagination, but like their Natural keyboards, they again show that while they're not a hardware company, they understand good hardware.

I'm sometimes on loooong conference calls. These guys are super comfortable even during a long call. Sound is excellent, though I'm not using them for music or anything. The Lync controls are excellent, and the main reason I got these...I'd been looking for a wireless Lync capable headset, but all the ones I could find looked like bluetooth earpieces and I was looking for more of a headset like this.

The quality of the material are really good.

Pros:

This fit well to use in one ear, you just have adjust it to the small size.

The microphone turn to both sides, so you can use it in the right or in the left.

The voice quality and the sound is great.

There is a light in the Microsoft, so another people can see when it is active.

It is comfortable and don't hurt your ear if you use it for a long time (~2hour in my test).

This blocked the environment sound better than I expected. Usually the small phones like this one, do not do it very well. This is great.

It seems like you can hear you voice when talking in the phone. This way you don't speak loud when you are using it.

Cons:

Actually I didn't find any cons for this product.

I picked up the LX-6000's through Amazon as they're not yet available at the company store on campus. They work great on Win7 and Win8 and are a lot more comfortable than the lx-3000/4000 the replace. The microphone is also much better than the microphone on the lx-3000/4000 series and they headset is Lync certified!

This power supply is far more than I need, but at the sale price it didn't make any sense to buy a lesser PS. Even at the full price it would be well worth it.

All wires are wrapped and are of a much heavier gauge than any of my previous power supplies.

I can only find 2 problems. The first is that it's so quiet that everything else seems suddenly louder. The old PS was loud in comparison.

The other possible problem would only apply to those with a small computer case. As I said, these wires are thicker than most power supplies. Add to that the fact that they are quiet long with a lot of connectors and you might run out of room in a small case. I used electrical tape to bundle the unused wires and shove them out of the way.

PROs Very quiet, long heavy gage wrapped wires, lots of connectors, lots of power for future upgrades.

CONs None really unless you have a small case.

Note My motherboard has a 4 pin CPU connector on the board. This power supply has what it describes as a "CPU 4Pin+4pin" connector (it looks like an 8 pin connector). Looking carefully you can see that it will slide apart to become 2 four pin connectors. Elsewhere I saw someone complaining about another PS that was missing the 4 pin connector. They probably had the same setup and didn't notice it.

This power supply works perfectly and is almost silent! The only problem i have with it is that on the 650 watt version they did not wrap the wires and it just looks like an eye sore in my case.

The cables are very thick and this is a very good thing, You don't want cheap thin cables that can't output the wattage that the power supply has or they could get hot and possibly cause damage. The only reason i gave this PSU a 4 star rating is because all the wires were not wrapped, The only one that is wrapped is the 24 pin motherboard connector. Other then the wire wrapping there is nothing wrong with this PSU and i would recommend it to any one.

The only downside is that it's not modular and there are a *ton* of cables. I got this at a cheap price around xmas, but I wish that I would have spent the extra $20 and get myself a modular instead.

So far after 1 week this product is doing everything a 650w should!! It has tons of connections for graphics cards, sata, 4 pins. The only complaint I have is the fan noise while running some games on ultra graphics. I understand it needs a little more wattage to push the games, but the fan is a little loud. Other than that it is a great Power Supply. After upgrading my RAM, Graphics Card, and putting an Arctic cooler on, I needed a better PSU. Wrote another review for a different case. This case I bought at the same time as a different one, figuring they could fight it out for my tablet love. Better case takes all. This one one.

Cool color combos--I love when inside is a contrasting color to outside. Makes things so much more visible. Plus it's just more aesthetically pleasing.

I have a Google Nexus 7 and it fits readily, but not snugly, inside. In fact, this case is just a tad too large for it. For me, that's not a big deal. But there is some side-to-side, up-and-down shift that happens when my tablet is in this case and the case in a bigger bag. If you're envisioning this case fitting your Nexus like a glove, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

There's a front pocket (unsecured) that you can slip stuff into. I don't use this for my power cord, but neither am I wild about shoving my power cord in with the tablet and possibly, inadvertently scratching the screen or something. So usually, I tote my cord around separately. Not a huge problem, but pocket storage could have been better.

Not really sure how protective it would be, but then, I try not to make a practice out of dropping electronic stuff.

If your case expectations are realistic, this model is worth a shot.

I was so excited for this product.. I opened it up and sure enough the same LCD issue as the previous reviewer stated. Other than this issue its an awesome product. I can't wait to receive the replacement from Amazon but in the mean time I'll make due blindly using this product without the LCD.

Edit: I've received the replacement, 3/4 of the LCD display this time, so i'll be waiting on a third replacement. Not a huge problem as they have been functional enough that I have been able to play with them> Third time is a charm I hope. Scans great, takes a little practice to line it up straight and roll straight. Bluetooth transfers are a breeze with my computer. I can switch it over to Bluetooth and it instantly links up to the previously paired PC and hit the scan button and 5 seconds later it automatically transfers into My Documents. I can also from my computer view a directory listing of all the scans and easily pick and choose the scans I want to transfer. Much faster over USB but those are the limitations of Bluetooth not this device. This device can change your life if you decide to go digital to file everything away.

Edit: Got the third one in the mail today, one more faulty LCD, seriously this is getting rediculous I'm going to have to start knocking off stars. We'll see if the fourth one does any better. Amazon sure is getting screwed on shipping costs because of this product.

This scanner looks to have great features and seemed to produce good scans. Unfortunately, the manufacturer seems to have a quality control problem with the product. The LED display was defective on the scanner when delivered. I requested and received a replacement device and the replacement had the same problem with the LED. I was able to make a couple of reasonably good quality scans when testing the two devices received. Unfortunately most of the LED symbols that were supposes to display on the LED screen did not work on either of the devices I received.

The switch on this scanner has three level-off,on, and Bluetooth. The battery will charge only in off position. You can scan only in middle on position. I recently bought this product. I found that sometimes it is hard to scan from the center to the extremity of the page, but I found a workaround for that. I usually use a image editor to flip the image or rotate it whenever is needed. I just think that no matter what I do, it is still great product when I think how much typing I use to have before. And besides that, if you pay attention to the lens bellow and where it is located, you will see that becomes easy to manage it. The only way you can't find easy to scan is if the book has not much empty space from the center to the words, but as long as you can put the lens in a workable position, everything goes fine.

Installed the configuration software, plugged it in, and it worked immediately. I am using it with WinXP Service Pack 2, and it communicates great with a complex serial interface to an unusual piece of electronics I have, so its very compatible with "real" serial ports, unlike some other adapters I have tried that seem to only work with modems or PDA docks. The adapter as shipped is actually a small 1"x1.5"x3" box connected to your computer with a 3' USB cable that can be unplugged from it. It has a green LED on top to tell you when it is properly configured as well as when a program has opened that serial port and when it is passing data. Very functional and easy to use; the configuration software even includes tests to make sure the device is recognized and is properly communicating with your computer. The configuration software also ensures that the same COM port is assigned to the device, no matter which USB port on your computer you plug it into each time, unlike previous adapters I've had which created a different COM port each time you plugged the device into a different USB port (very annoying); the driver also has an option to behave like those other drivers, but most people will probably want to always have it act like the same COM port, the default.

Despite the first reviewers comments, the Keyspan 19HS works just fine with linux. The driver for the 19HS was included in the kernel source a while ago. Standard off-the-shelf kernels (2.4.24 and 2.6.5) work without any patches. In addition to regular usb support, my kernels also load the keyspan and usb-serial modules.

After executing "mknod /dev/ttyUSB0 c 188 0", I am happily communicating with Palms and GPSs using the new /dev/ttyUSB0 device.

My USA-19HS worked ok for a couple of months, then stopped working. It started identifying itself as a a TUSB3410 Boot Device, which Keyspan's website says meant it was defective. I then went into customer service hell. After I posted my info to a tech support forum on their website, they vanished. I poked again a week and a half later, and they came back and told me to mail the device in. I did so. Then they vanished off the face of the earth. No replacement sent to me, no posts to my electronic tech support thread (despite multiple posts by me), and they don't answer their phones (there's a recording saying to visit the website). Eventually, weeks later, after I threatened to go to the BBB, someone posted and said they'd look for my device and get back to me that afternoon. Two days later, nothing again.

The device works fine, but heaven forbid you actually need to get it replaced. At this point, I have neither my dead device nor a refund -I mailed it in, and it's gone in a black hole.

I had a device that came with a USB-Serial adapter from FTDI Chip that only worked intermittently, was poorly documented, and the vendor ignored my e-mail. The KEYSPAN USA-19HS worked flawlessly, is well documented, and comes with a powerful utility (which I did not need).

Details:

Recently I acquired a "Duplimate Mark IV bis" duplicate bridge card dealer. It uses a serial connection to the host Windows computer. I'm using an IBM Thinkpad T40 running Windows XP SP2.

The computer has no serial ports, but the Duplimate came with an adapter, as well as a serial cable. That adapter has a captive USP cable, and a DB9-F connector for the serial device (unusually, with screws no independent serial cable needed). The adapter was identified only by manufacturer, FTDI Chip. It came with a mini-CD, which I explored and used to print out the manual. I eventually deduced that the adapter was an HL-340, which I found stamped on the DB9 connector and as the name of a folder on the mini-CD, but not in the manual. I installed a driver in that folder, and got the dealer to work kind of. It would actually deal a hand only about half the time, otherwise taking several seconds to report a communications error. By the time I had hit Ctrl-A to restart dealing for the fifth time on a deal, I was wondering what I would do if it refused to deal. FTDI Chip has a web site, and I downloaded a driver from there no use. I did perform a successful reinstall without using the HL-340 folder directly, with no change in results. A detailed e-mail to FTDI chip produced no response. If you ever have a chance to buy something from FTDI Chip DON'T!

Two days ago, I ordered the KEYSPAN USA-19HS from Amazon for just under $32, with free shipping. It arrived today, and I put it through its paces. It comes with a full-size CD. First, I removed the old driver. When I installed the Keyspan software, which must be done with the adapter disconnected, the driver went right in. (I also took the time to register the product.) A Keyspan USB Serial Adapter folder appeared on my Programs menu, and it contains a powerful and potentially useful Keyspan Serial Assistant as well as the manual in HTML and PDF. Don't read the manual on CD it's slow wait to read it on your computer. The manual is excellent, tho you may not need it.

The adapter has a short detachable USB cable, which is probably fine for most applications; but if you need a longer one, you can substitute. Using the serial assistant or Start-Control Panel-System-Hardware-Ports confirmed that the newly connected serial port was COM3. The DB9-M connector has nuts for the screws on a typical serial cable, so it would not mate with the Duplimate, which also has nuts. No problem, I had the serial cable that came with the Duplimate. While using the extra cable is not as convenient, I judge this to be the correct implementation, because it will mate with captive or specialized serial cables. Because my WinDup software was already configured for COM3, I was able to fire it up and start dealing immediately. No more communications errors, no more waiting to hit Ctrl-A if the machine did not start dealing immediately. It always started dealing as soon as I inserted the next board.

I like the overall design of this case. However, it would be better if there were a soft lining inside to cushion the screen. I bought the case to protect the screen while it's in my purse. However, since there is no lining at all, especially since the phone fits so tightly, I'm concerned that the screen will be scuffed with use over time.

This case was exactly what I was looking for, no belt clip, no bulge just protection for the phone. I'm very happy with it.

Started using this type of case with a Blackberry Curve(it came with the phone) and found that liked this style of phone carry so after getting a Droid X I searched for the same type. Found the PDAIR site and have been totally happy with everything except the price but you get what you pay for grandaddy always said! Some of the other reviews listed the inner liner as a concern but I dont see the issue, The outside is some super soft leather and but the insides made of some sort of slippery synthetic swede and has not harmed my screen in the 2 years I have used it. "cant charge while in the pouch" this is accurate but a little snip of the elastic would uncover the charge port i would never charge my phone while in the pouch anyway,I would be worried about the heat build up. I have purchased 3 of these direct from pdair in Hong Kong for myself and family ,its a quality product and a great company to deal with. Will be getting one of these again when I upgrade to the Razr Maxx.

Great case for someone who loves their DROID X. The only reason it didn't receive 5 stars is because the phone cannot be charged while in the case. other than that 1 flaw, the case is made from (seems like) high quality leather and a flexible band on the sides. a bit pricey but good investment to take care of your DROID. Highly recommended.

I like how it works when touching my Kindle Paperwhite. However, It was much shorter than I expected. There isn't anywhere to really keep it so I'm afraid it could be easy to lose. Just look closely at one picture of a guy using it. You'll get the feel for the size which is not given in the notes about the item that I could FIND. Also, the rope/string hanging off doesn't seem real useful. It seems like it just plugs into an iPhone.
