Sharp Electronics EL243SB 8-Digit Twin Powered Calculator

• Twin-powered basic hand-held calculator
• Extra large, 8-digit LCD display
• Twin power solar operation automatically switches from solar to battery power in low light
• 3-key memory includes memory plus, memory minus and recall/clear memory keys
• Includes percent, square root keys, and sign change keys
• Twin power solar operation automatically switches from solar to battery power in low light
• Extra large 8-digit LCD display
• 3-key memory includes memory plus, memory minus and recall/clear memory keys
• Includes percent, square root keys, and sign change keys
• Attached hard cover

The best thing about this calculator is that it's got a cover that latches. No, it doesn't lock, but that little hard-plastic door closes over the keypad, so when I toss it into my briefcase and head out, I don't have to worry about damage to the keypad, or the thing being turned on and staying on as a stray pen or something just keeps pushing its buttons. The main power source is light, but it's got a simple battery backup, the batteries being accessible when you pull two small philips-head screws from the back of the case.

This thing is small and mobile, and is perfect for my mobile business needs. I'm not going to be plotting spacecraft trajectories or formulating amino acid degradations today, so I don't need anything more than the basic arithmetic functions it offers (as well as %, square root and basic memory functions).

The buttons are just the right size, not so big that I feel like this thing is a learning toy for a 2 year old, or has been made for the myopic over-70 set. The buttons are big enough that I can quickly tap out my work without mashing down multiple buttons.

To conclude, if you want a small calc you can tote with you and that will not let you down by running out of power, this is the one. If you're after a reliable little machine to crank out your daily checkbook totals or to tally up the pro-rating on your timesheet entries, then this is the one you want. Recommend.

Buy Sharp Electronics EL243SB 8-Digit Twin Powered Calculator Now

If you want a VERY BASIC, SMALL calculator that only adds, subtracts, divides, and multiplies, and has a memory, square root key, plus/minus key, and percent key, this is the one to get. Most important is that it has a CE ("Clear Entry") key: If you're adding or subtracting a lot of numbers and enter an incorrect value halfway through, you can delete it from the display by pressing CE without disturbing the calculations that you've already done. NEVER BUY A CALCULATOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE A CE KEY, because if you enter a wrong number somewhere along the line, you'll lose all your work when you press the only Clear key, which clears everything! (As you can tell, I made this mistake.) The buttons are a good size (not too small or too large), the calculator takes up very little room on a desk or in a purse or briefcase, and it calculates quickly. The cover is attached and unobtrusive if you just want to leave it on a desk. After five years, the calculator is still working fine. At this low price, I'd have no problem replacing it once a year if necessary.

My old calculator bit the dust and I needed a new one for balancing my checkbook. I purchased this one solely on other customer's reviews. It does an excellent job of calculating. It's not as comfortable in my hand as my old one, but I can always lay it on the desk while using it. I'm very satisfied for the amount of money I paid.

Want Sharp Electronics EL243SB 8-Digit Twin Powered Calculator Discount?

It's a good calculator for a good price. The cover protects the keys and folds flat to the back when open, so it's out of the way. It has all the basic features and it's small. Just what I was looking for.

I'll never understand why companies make calculators without punctuation. It's much harder to read the numbers without commas. Sharp says that the unit has punctuation. It doesn't. The description is deceptive both here and on Sharp's website.

Samsung i897 Captivate Carbon Fiber Hard Shell Case

Pros: It does fit my Captivate perfectly. All the ports are accessible.

Cons:

It adds significant bulk. So if you like your Captivate because of how slim it is, you don't want this case.

The texture is probably supposed to resemble carbon fiber. It doesn't. The texture resembles plastic.

The "chrome" details are very cheesy and plasticky.

I was looking for a case that would not add bulk and was stylish without changing what I loved about the Captivate, which is its slim profile and easy fit in the pocket. It does none of these things. The best I can say is that it fits my phone perfectly, and all the ports are open and accessible.

Seidio Innocase Extended Rugged Holster Combo for HTC EVO 4G

• Seidio Innocase Extended Rugged Holster Combo for HTC EVO 4G

Please read the whole review. This is a very well made, good fitting case. I like the fact the case doesnt pick up lint. Very rugged. I ordered another one for my brother in-law..........Update 12-23-2010. Gave the case to my brother in-law, he opened it up.....no screen protector in the package. Sent an email to the seller alwayz-on-sale and they tell me I have to send the whole thing back to get a refund or exchange (shipping charges at my expense). I don't need a refund or exchange just all the items I ordered please. So you will pay twice the shipping for something that should've been included in the first place. Beware that if you buy from this seller, you may not get everything you ordered. The Seidio packages are in unsealed snap type packaging so if someone around the store or at the factory wants something from your package..too bad. Buyer beware.

Great product if you want to protect your Evo. I'm in the construction field so protection is a must. I didn't purchase through Amazon but purchased directly from Seidio incluing the extended battery. It came with everything that was described including the screen protector. I did pay a little more but heard about incomplete orders through other seller's and didnt want any of the hassle. Yes its bulky, but if you want sleek, colorful and dainty, you may need to get another type of protection.

I do like this case. The only thing that bothers me and its a big thing is that these cases don't have the hard plastic cover over the screen like the otter box defender does. I was able to modify this by combining my otter box face with the seido innocase extended back. I'm happy with it and my phones protected both front and back.

Want Seidio Innocase Extended Rugged Holster Combo for HTC EVO 4G Discount?

OK, the HTC EVO is HUGE, so a case/holster for it has also got to be HUGE. So assuming huge doesn't bother you, why get this case?

1) It's large enough in the back to accommodate high-capacity batteries. The EVO goes through power like crazy, and a 3500 mAh battery is a good idea.

2) The EVO has a slick feel which always made me worry that I would drop it. The Seido case has a nice feel to it.

3) The case feels so solid that I've actually considered dropping it just to confirm that my expensive EVO would survive.

4) The clip swivels to 8 positions.

5) The case has a latch to keep your phone in the holster.

6) The case comes with a screen cover/protector.

7) All features of the phone are usable within the case, except the kickstand.

Probably the only thing that bothers me is that I can't hardly hold the phone without changing the volume setting. Of course, that's more the fault of the phone design than the case design. I don't see how you can get a better case.

Personally, I think the Seidio products make the Otterbox stuff seem like junk. The pastic over the silicon skin makes way better sense than the other way around. Also, this silicon sleeve deosn't seem to stretch out like the other brands. My favorite case yet besides the LifeProof stuff.

Kingston 512MB Secure Digital SD Card (SD/512, BULK)

I finally closed my eBay account because I was so sick of crooks who listed items for 99 cents and then made their money on exorbitant shipping and handling charges. (one guy listed a USB flash drive for 99 cents and wanted EIGHTY-FOUR DOLLARS in shipping/handling)

This seller is almost as bad. I added five of these $1.99 SD cards to my cart for a total of $9.95, then cancelled the order because the shipping would have been almost thirty bucks.

Needless to say, this is ridiculous. I can ship five SD cards anywhere in the country for less than ten bucks. Why is Blue Proton charging thirty?

This is just another way for unethical sellers to try to rip people off and make them think they're getting a good deal when they're really not.

$165 for shipping $98 worth of SD Cards. I wasted my time going through the order just to cancel at the end when I found out what shipping was going to be.

Buy Kingston 512MB Secure Digital SD Card (SD/512, BULK) Now

Item doesn't include the standard American lifetime warranty that Kingston products usually come with. I can't read the "Taiwanese" that this product ships with...maybe there's a Taiwan warranty. You're better off spending a bit more and receiving an item that's guarranteed for life. It's not uncommon for a file to become corrupted and the card rendered useless.

Will you morons stop complaining about shipping prices? If you can do basic arithmetic, you'd see that the total price is similar to other listing that have higher price tags. They're doing it to avoid steep commissions. Amazon & eBay are making gazillions so I always rue for the underdogs.

This is an inexpensive case with nothing special. No stylus, no magnet latch, no soft interior. Just a plain faux leather case. The BIG problem is the shipping time. Took 3 weeks just to confirm the item had shipped. Over 27 days from order to ridiculous.

These are very nice carrying cases for tablets. They were inexpensive too. I am very pleased with this product too.

I didn't have high hopes for this item considering the price so I wasn't incredibly disappointed. For the most part the case is fine but the part that actually holds the tablet in is very flimsy. Plus the left side is completely open which would make it very easy for the tablet to slip out. All in all not a horrible case but it may be worth the extra money to get a different case that will make your tablet more secure.

I won't use the case that often as I bought a really cute carry case, but everything is in good condition and I was happy with the purchase. My screen was not bent when I got it, like one of the other reviewers. I imagine if my screen was damaged the seller would be willing to exchange it out. Good purchase!

This product isnt useful. The picture is very faint and blurred unless the projector is placed right next to the wall (and then the picture size is no bigger than my 15" laptop screen), so whats the point? I unfortunately didnt need to use it immediately and when I finally tried it and discovered just how bad it was, the return window had expired.

If the Co goes broke it will be no suprise to me with a customer support line like that.

Want Optoma PK120, nHD, 18 LED Lumens, Pico Pocket Projector Discount?

For small rooms and small audiences is a good device, but if you want a projector for more than a dozen people, this is not the item you should buy.

the pico throws up a respectably good picture with pretty good clarity it's the kind of image/experience I'd hoped to have for travel use.

The disappointment for me is the proprietary input connector, which I could live with if optima actually produced input adapters for micro HDMI or MHL. If I could use my android phone/tablet as the source, then i'd have a literally pocket sized home theatre. As is, with only analog VGA/RCA inputs, my only portable source for media is my laptop, which I don't like travel with much these days, thanks to tablets. The miscro SD card source wouldn't read most of the formats I threw at it.

My mistake for not considering the impact of the limited inputs, but it would have made an okay device into an awesome one.

The product appears to be ok. It has some features that are not as good as the earlier "20" model. The real problem is the supplier. The printer face was scratched, like it had been used. The supplier said "Thank you for your order, it shows the item you purchased is a brand new item. If you are not satisfied with the product you may return the item within our 30day return policy as long as inks/toners are not installed yet." This is not much help as all the packaging had been disposed of. Shame on me. Also, the printer came with the inks/toners already installed. If this supplier comes up again on an Amazon purchase, I'll probably pass.

I was so excited for this product.. I opened it up and sure enough the same LCD issue as the previous reviewer stated. Other than this issue its an awesome product. I can't wait to receive the replacement from Amazon but in the mean time I'll make due blindly using this product without the LCD.

Edit: I've received the replacement, 3/4 of the LCD display this time, so i'll be waiting on a third replacement. Not a huge problem as they have been functional enough that I have been able to play with them> Third time is a charm I hope. Scans great, takes a little practice to line it up straight and roll straight. Bluetooth transfers are a breeze with my computer. I can switch it over to Bluetooth and it instantly links up to the previously paired PC and hit the scan button and 5 seconds later it automatically transfers into My Documents. I can also from my computer view a directory listing of all the scans and easily pick and choose the scans I want to transfer. Much faster over USB but those are the limitations of Bluetooth not this device. This device can change your life if you decide to go digital to file everything away.

Edit: Got the third one in the mail today, one more faulty LCD, seriously this is getting rediculous I'm going to have to start knocking off stars. We'll see if the fourth one does any better. Amazon sure is getting screwed on shipping costs because of this product.

This scanner looks to have great features and seemed to produce good scans. Unfortunately, the manufacturer seems to have a quality control problem with the product. The LED display was defective on the scanner when delivered. I requested and received a replacement device and the replacement had the same problem with the LED. Before I decided on this scanner, I was deliberating between 5 others. Even though this scanner does not scan at 900 x 900 dpi or have dual rollers, offered by others, I've found that the features and benefits it does have meet my needs. I absolutely love that it has a rechargeable battery instead of AA's and provides the option for bluetooth transferring. I was hesitant to purchase after reading so many reviews about faulty LCD screens, but I'm glad I took the risk! I've had zero issues and am satisfied with the quality of the scans. I definitely recommend this product and advise users to practice scanning and to read the manual to ensure a good experience.

I recently bought this product. I found that sometimes it is hard to scan from the center to the extremity of the page, but I found a workaround for that. I usually use a image editor to flip the image or rotate it whenever is needed. I just think that no matter what I do, it is still great product when I think how much typing I use to have before. And besides that, if you pay attention to the lens bellow and where it is located, you will see that becomes easy to manage it. The only way you can't find easy to scan is if the book has not much empty space from the center to the words, but as long as you can put the lens in a workable position, everything goes fine.

Well, at least I got a year out of it.

The kit came with everything needed including a mile long antenna wire and a variety of mounting adapters (which I threw out and made my own from a small piece of .060 aluminum). I use the cassette adapter which works well. On the PRO side is that the unit is portable so I use the same radio/subscription in my office, at home, and in my wife's car. The only CON is that you need a fair amount of patience and creativity to neatly manage all three wires so they are mostly hidden. If you take your time to install the adapter where you can easily see the display and operate the controls, you will be very satisfied.

After I got this installed, it works great and for the money, was a great deal. The installation instructions are pretty pathetic and I was only able to complete the installation succesfully, because I was able to look at another vehicle in which we have one installed. The only other thing that I don't like about these cradles is that the mounting options aren't very good. I ended up having to mount it on my vent, which restricts the heating and cooling air flow in my vehicle. But, I do have my satellite radio in every vehicle now, so it was definitely worth it.

The adapter is not 90W as claimed in the description, it is in fact 65W.

If you look at the specs you can confirm this. Volts X amps = watts.

Output: 19.5V --3.34A

19.5 x 3.34 = 65.13

If your Dell requires a 90W adapter, as many of the modern ones do, this will not work for you at all.
