This case is both functional and tough. It holds my Touchpad, keyboard, dock, an extra cord and plug, and the stylus, has plenty more room and pockets, and manages to still feel compact. So far, I haven't found use for the shoulder strap, since it is easily small enough to just carry. I am sure it will come in handy when I am travelling, though.

I've had the LED Lenser flashlight for years now (since early 2008) and still use it as it's proven to be a very reliable and bright flashlight in a small, very convenient package. This is one of my favorite flashlights because of its excellent quality of light (crisp white) and powerful focused beam. I've used it for years in all kinds of weather and never had a problem with it. During the school year I use it daily for building security checks, it's truly gotten a lot of use and surprised me by never having failed on me! The most important thing to keep in mind though is to always buy quality batteries as they make all the difference in the useful longevity of the light. Overall this is a simple and fantastic flashlight that hasn't let me down yet. I would highly recommend it!

However, and this is not a comment on the laptop, as a former mainframe and peripheral Field Engineer I must say that Windows 8 is the most difficult, inconvenient and non-intuitive OS I have ever used in more than 40 years (not a typo!) of involvement with computers!

I comparison shopped for laptop/notebooks for quite some time. I tested some comparable machines in various places, and this one had all the attributes I have sought after.

This computer is simple with the Windows 8 OS, and it's RAM allows for good video editing and video games.

I love the large screen, color is good and graphics for games is very good. It was a little hard to get used to the Windows 8 operating system but that had nothing to do with the quality of the product.

I also purchased a 10 watt solar panel from Instapark. Hiking in the mountains and camping the battery provided recharging for a tablet and cell phone. While gone during the day the 10 watt panel helped to recharge the battery for the evening recharging while perched on the tent. Beware that the model I bought does not include a charger with the battery. In the product info this was not to be found. However you are provided a few adapter tips to retask your laptop supply to quickly recharge the unit.

In the field with no power available except solar I was able to run for 5 days before the solar panel couldn't keep up enough of a charge and I had to seek an outlet. Next time I may attempt to use an array of three 10 watt foldable panels to keep things running, keeping each at a different angle to optimize the sun's changing position while I am away from basecamp.

The output tips are all tiny and L shaped. If your device's power isn't easily accessible, these will not fit. It's a major design flaw and it forced me to return the product. I'd recommend just getting two Astro3's instead.

I was so excited about this product, as a teacher I have tons of lessons, manuals and just stuff I run across at library's and workshops I wish I could copy for classroom use, and this seemed like perfection. But the included SD card that the PageManager program is pre-loaded on is defective. On top of that, although you can plug the scanner directly into your computer you can't scan anything much less calibrate the poor thing without a working SD card.

Contacted the Manufacturer's Customer Service department and the advised me to try and copy the program on to my computer with the MicroSD's Adapter and purchase a new SD card, really? Apparently, they have no more and the company the partnered with for this product is out of business. So if you get a dud there is really no recourse. I brought my brother one for Christmas I hope his works well.

Don't even bother with this model, their are cheaper versions which are made to function with any MicroSD card, just generally aren't included. I choose this one because with SD card and specific program I thought it would be user friendly and straight-forward. Nope

Its a good case for the Lenovo, it fits and everything but there is no hole for the power cable to recharge the tablet. In order to recharge the tablet you have to remove it from the case. I've flipped it and everything but cannot get the power hole to line up with a slot in the case.

This case did not fit the Lenovo ideapad a2107a although that is what I put in the search box. It was not worth returning so I just bought one that did fit.

Great idea to combine the charger with the FM transmitter. However, it can't charge enough to prevent battery drain when simultaneously using your smartphone's GPS navigator and playing MP3 files. After a 4-5 hour trip using both you'll end up with a drained battery even though it's been charging all the time. So bring along another MP3 player or battery, or just use the phone for only one function! Other than that, it's a good product.

This item is a much-needed improvement over my previous set-up (full-size bluetooth keyboard and mouse). However, the design could use some improvements. The compact size is definitely the selling point and the reason why I would purchase this device again. Needing to constantly switch between the mouse and keyboard functionality makes using this item somewhat cumbersome. The lower price tag versus other top-brand devices, like the Logitech diNovo Mini, might be a good reason for the reduced multi-function capabilities.

The bluetooth connected without a problem and reconnects every time I turn it on. Range is not an issue. I consistently sit 8-10 feet from my PC whenever I use it. However, the bluetooth connectivity is intermittent sometimes causing a delay in the mouse movements. Turning the device off and then on again, typically fixes the problem.

The function of the keyboard does take some getting used it. Unlike a typical keyboard, the entire surface is flat, except for some subtle raised edges on the left side. The device is essentially too large mouse buttons (although only the right side functions as a mouse click while in touchpad mode), so to type you simply press inside the square of the letter you are selecting. Using the shift or function keys is somewhat awkward when pressing the same side, as you have to press them at the same time. I was surprised at how well it works, as it recognizes all of the keyboard's strokes without any issues, even when pressing multiple keys. After a little practice, I was able to type pretty smoothly with my thumbs. I haven't tried any lengthy typing tasks (such as writing Amazon reviews), but I'm sure it would be suitable, though not as effective as a standard keyboard.

As I mentioned, you have to switch between touchpad and keyboard mode. While in touchpad mode, the left side of the keyboard primarily consists of smartkeys (i.e. zoom in, zoom out) and the right side functions as the touchpad. The right side also functions as the left click (or "tap" on a typical touchpad), while there are dedicated left/right click buttons on the left side of the keyboard. I found that switching can be quite frustrating, especially when browsing the Internet, which often requires frequent mouse movements or scrolling and typing, depending on the task. I keep my full-size keyboard and mouse close by for when I know I will be switching between modes a lot, though I tend to avoid this whenever possible and just pull out my laptop instead.

In closing, I think this device was worth the money, especially when compared to its higher-priced competitor. I would recommend it, if you think you will primarily use it as a handheld touchpad with occassional keyboard usage, such as to control a media center PC. If you expect to do a lot of typing, I would suggest a handheld device that doesn't require switching between touchpad and keyboard mode.

Trackpad is right side of keyboard. Swipe finger for trackpad, Press Fn key for keyboard. Both sides act as mouse buttons. That is reason for crease. Bluetooth works smooth with Windows 7 & Fujitsu tablet.

Been using my 1.0gb card for several days (taking pictures, loading onto computer, and Walmart photo machine, etc.). So far it's working like a charm. The great thing about cards like this is that it allowed me to buy a better camera let me explain. . . Because the memory cards that come with cameras are only a little better than the "prop" tv's you see in furniture stores, it is important to consider the high cost of a "real" memory card when you decide to buy a digital camera. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR KODAK CAMERA OWNERS: In July 2006, I replaced a SanDisk regular SD card like this one with a SanDisk Ultra II card for my Kodak DX7590, because I was hoping that it would allow my camera to write high-quality 5MP pictures faster. But to my surprise, it timed exactly the same. So I emailed Kodak, and this was their response: "We appreciate your interest in high speed memory for your digital camera. Our cameras are designed to operate, write and read SD cards at set voltage speeds. Therefore, there is no advantage to using faster memory in Kodak cameras."

So if you use a Kodak dock or USB cable to transfer images from a Kodak camera to your computer, this standard SanDisk card is all you need...there's no advantage to paying extra for a high-speed card like the Ultra II. I have a Panasonic SV-AV100, a camcorder that uses flash instead of tapes. It's a wonderful, cigarette box sized camcorder the only downside of which needs a monster amount of memory. I finally purchased a Sandisk 1G after waiting and couldn't be happier. The read/write speeds are actually slightly better than my 512 Panasonic card and I have had no problems with computer recognition (running XP) or corrupt files which I've read happen to people from time to time.
