Electric Avenue 82-5184 Disinfecting Portable UV Scanner

Electric Avenue 82-5184 Disinfecting Portable UV Scanner
  • Safe and effective
  • Portable for travel or purse
  • Range of wavelength is 9.98 inches
  • Requires 4 AAA batteries (not included)
  • Dimensions: 1.875 x 1.25 x 5 inches

I was very disappointed. Made of very cheep plastic, not put together well at all. The directions say you should put the scanner 2-3 inches away from the item, yet, the design of the UV scanner will not allow you to get that close.

I wasted $30. + SH.

This the 3rd review Ive been asked to give about this product. It has not changed since the first review. I am highly disappointed in this product. I did receive it in a timely manner but the product came with no instructions. The scanner sometimes lights when you open it and sometimes it does not light when you open it. The light itself is bearly visible. Im not sure if its not working properly or not. I did email the company asking for clarification but I have never received a reply. I would not recommend this product.

I was sort of skeptical of this item after reading some of the reviews, especially when so many reviewers reported that the bulb did not work. I received my item today and once I turned it on (by opening the hinge), I was alarmed to find that there was no light coming from the lamp. However, I then proceeded to make sure the bulb was secure by pushing it into its socket (LATERALLY, WHICH IS TOWARDS THE HINGE), and immediately the blue colored (UV) light came on. I think the bulbs just have a tendency to become loose in their socket, so you just have to remember to make sure it's secure. (Caution: be careful you don't force it too hard or else it could break in your fingers.)

ALSO, you should protect your eyes with (at least) a pair of UV blocking sunglasses when operating this device. Do not shine this onto your skin and especially avoid contact with your eyes.

Hope this helps.

When I got this, it was brand new, however, something inside it rattles around and it doesn't work. I got it to work once or twice, but only after messing around with the batteries and shaking it. I won't buy another one.

I got this new Disinfective UV. It said I had to use certain type of batteries, so I bought the brand new AAA batteries. The device did not work. The light was not on after flip it open. There was no switch button. I tried to contact Amoazon during second weekk of the purchase, this product was not even on my recent purchase list, therefore I could not go through Amazon return. I checked my credit card payment, Amazon clearly charged me for this product.I also had the receipt. I am too busy to monkey around with Amazon return. So this junk is sitting on my desk. All I want to tell you is that the disinfecting UV scanner I bought did not work.

At first this product was amazing and got the job done fast but then it started to TAKE AWAY MY BATTERY then it worsened to the point I can't even turn it on. At first I thought it was just my tablet then it did the same to my sister's tablet. Then another thing I realised was if you let it charge as you're playing, when you turn the tablet it on half the time it won't let you even type or slide and when you want to unlock it freezes. A waste of my time and money is what this product was.

Could not find a flash card from local merchants or price was too extreme but I found what I needed from this vendor at a reasonable price and quick delivery. Will use this vendor again.

Update to previous feedback left. I was promptly contacted by Sam who must have receieved my negative feedback posting. He informed me that my original emails to him were sent to their spam folder (reasonable) and reminded me the best way to contact sellers is through the Amazon link. He was very sincere and helpful and offered several options for me. It was clear that customer service IS very important and a top priority. I was very pleased with his response, and wanted to ensure I clarify my feedback for those considering purchasing from Skakawack. Thank you Joe!!

Kaiser Baas Bluetooth 2.0 Keyboard BT-130 - PC/MAC, Apple, Anroid, Windows, PS3 & Xbox

Kaiser Baas Bluetooth 2.0 Keyboard BT-130 - PC/MAC, Apple, Anroid, Windows, PS3 & XboxFirstly, I've been using a Logitec Dinovo Mini for my HTPC for over 3 years. That's one fantastic keyboard, which sets a very, very high standard to beat! After all that use though, the letter P and the Shift key have become a little non-responsive, so I've been looking for alternatives. I would buy another Dinovo, but it's expensive and it's end-of-life.

I accidentally came across this in the store (Harvey Norman, Australia) and bought it on impulse for $79 AU.

First the good. It's smaller than it seems. About the size of a mobile phone. The keys are well packed, it makes good use of all space it has on it. It even has F1 to F8, which the Dinovo doesn't have. It has a little track-ball for a mouse, and two easy-to-click buttons for left/right clicks. It has an integrated laser pointer, which works, and I guess would be good for presentations. Also, it's bluetooth, and will sink with any bluetooth device supporting a keyboard (it synched easily to my HTC Sensation phone, although I use it synched to my Windows HTPC). The keys are fairly good, and not very mushy.

Now the bad. The keys are very cramped. The Enter key is the same size as normal keys. Also the configuration is a straight-grid, which is not the same as normal keyboards (look at your keyboard, see how the keys in each row don't line up with the rows below? now look at a screenshot of this thing, the keys line up, this makes it a bit harder to get used to). The trackball feels cheap, and moving the mouse pointer on a 1920x1200 screen takes a lot of scrolling (even on max mouse sensitivity settings in Windows). Also, because of where the mouse clicker buttons are, selecting text or dragging something around is cumbersome (you need to exercise some finger gymnastics with two hands). The keyboard could really, really use a second left-mouse click button on the top-left of the keyboard just like the Dinovo, this would make many operations much easier to perform. Also, the Dinovo is a Bluetooth keyboard, but it comes with a special Dongle that acts as a regular USB keyboard. This however is a pure Bluetooth keyboard. Meaning it won't work in the bios, or in the safe-boot screen, or anywhere else where the full Bluetooth stack is not loaded. This means for a HTPC, you'll need a backup keyboard at hand.

Overall, this keyboard does a fine job. If I never had a Dinovo mini, I'd probably love it a lot more. But the Dinovo does exist, and is well worth the extra money. Maybe a version two of this keyboard can bring it up to par. But as it is now, it's not worth $69. Maybe $40 at most.

Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23S (White)

Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23S
  • Rapid, peer-to-peer connection
  • The freedom to access a home network through a small, lightweight USB key
  • No-third party remote access fees
  • Files are under lock and key with my Ditto's authenticated, password protected USB keys

I bought this device to replace a desktop machine that I did not want to leave on all the time because of the power it tended to draw. I was also interested in the RAID capabilities, given I had recently had some drive issues with my desktop. It was difficult to find ahead of time how much power this draws.

If you are going to use the RAID mirroring, do it right out of the box (says so in the manual). The user interface is ok, and I did not have any problem with setup. The desktop application (which is not needed for general use) was a bit doggy, but I don't use it much. The desktop UI provides for backup capabilities which I might explore at some point.

I am using the device primary with network shares and like the fact that you can create multiple users, each with their own shares.

The device draws about 17 watts when idling.

It is not a quiet as I hoped, the power supply fan runs all the time. I am going to have to move the device to another location because my office is quiet other than that.

Overall, I am happy with the device, and have only dinged it one star for the power supply noise. It seems to me that they should have been able to use passive cooling, so there would only be the noise from the disks running (like other USB drives I have).

Buy Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23S (White) Now

March 2011,

I purchased the 4TB unit in Feb. and have used it for about a month.

The product probably should get 5 stars because it's easy to setup and use as described. I'm using Raid1 (2TB mirrored) and counting on the server being a primary backup for our home computers and a remote access for our family away from home. The internal drives are Hitachi which were manufactured in 2009, so half the Hitachi warranty was over when received. My Ditto only has a 1 yr warranty which I consider short.

myDitto is currently working fine and my son's family is using it from MKE as well.

There are some short comings which caused me to give this 4* instead of 5*

1. The unit is shipped with only a quick start guide and you need to download the user manual from the website. […] And the manual is the only place to explain administrative functions. It is also incomplete.

2. Technical support is very weak. The support website is non-functional as I waited 3 days for no response to questions. You will be able to get a slow email response to questions to the contact support url above. There is no support phone number or address, but I obtained this:

DANE-ELEC USA

15770 Laguna Canyon Road, #100

Irvine, California 92618 USA

Phone: (877) 428 2363 (from inside the US) | Phone: +1 949 450 2970

techsupport@dane-memory.com

3. Do not use the Master Key on your first use of myDitto with an Id other than "admin". I did and the unit created a user account which it paired with the Master Key invalidating its use for administrative functions. After several weeks support finally emailed that I needed to create a new Master Key on a virgin USB flash drive. These keys get paired with an ID and cannot changed to a new ID (I didn't try reformatting a key).

4. Admin functions are limited. e.g. you can't limit space usage by users.

5. I've had some Raid errors which I did get fixed using the Raid Fix button in advanced services. But I couldn't get the button to appear once and emails didn't resolve until I cold booted the server. The unit has been solid for over a week.

6. I'm using XP SP3 and can only do a Windows backup to the Public folders. I'd rather do it my private ID folder, but don't have a solution for this yet.

In spite of all this, I like the myDitto unit. It is a good value at Amazon's price. But I don't have 100% confidence in it yet. Only time will tell.

For the past few years I have been using an HP Mediavault NAS for home use. It has been nothing but trouble pretty much from day one so when I had the opportunity to tryout this Ditto I was very excited. All in all the Ditto has not disappointed.

It it much faster than my old Mediavault and at a whopping 1TB holds quite a bit more as well.

Setup was a breeze though the instruction guide included is useless. A quick visit to Ditto's website provided me with the full instruction manual which was very helpful. I copied my files from my HP to the Ditto and now use it to back up all my home computers. The thing is very fast for home use!

I thought the USB keys are a nice touch. I was able to test out this feature and thought it worked well. I can now access my home files easily when away from home. It is very secure as well.

All in all, very happy with this unit. It is a nice compact size that won't take up a lot of room.

The one "negative" I find is that it is quite loud especially when the hard drive is whirling away, but that is more an annoyance than anything else.

UPDATE 6/13/2011 wish I could give it six stars! I recently purchased an iphone and found that I can download a "MyDitto" app to the phone which allows me to access data on the Ditto from anywhere through my phone! Wow! I can now view pictures, stream music, all from anywhere right to my phone. This is quite a great little home NAS!

Want Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23S (White) Discount?

Bought this a week back to set up a central data repository for my home... and there are Macbook, iPad, android, windows 7 and XP. Lot of photos, movies, mp3s and other files.

Set up:

Easy. I use in Raid-1 mode. The other options are Raid-0 and JBOD Just a Bunch Of Drives ). Hooked the network cable, it found the IP, and ready to go.

Created two accounts. Sharing is easy across user accounts.

Initial data load :

Annoying ! when myDitto client software works, it is fine. But if the myDitto client crashes, it does not remember the list you created for transfer. and now you go and find out what is not backed up and create another list. To keep you in pain, it will ask you to confirm every time it finds a duplicate. No 'skip all' option. What a pain! But once done, things seems to be ok. Client Program helps you to mount myDitto as a drive in your Mac and Windows machines.

IPAD / Android : I can access data from both iPAD & Android. Very easy to configure. You can access even out side your home network. No streaming support for videos. So forget about watching movies unless you are ready to download the complete movie to your iOS or Android device.

Mac / Window 7 / XP : Works well.

Streaming : No streaming support for video. This is another teaser. You can see the video file, but wont be able to play it unless you download as a local copy. So forget watching blueRay or HD movies.

Looks : Above average. Not Jennifer Lopez.

Sound : Some where between smooth Jazz and rock. not horrible.

Overall : Hmm... not perfect. Biggest annoyance is that the client program crashes during the initial, large data load...leaving you search for words those are not in bible. You will search for same words when you come across lack of video streaming support. Otherwise, good product.

Overall, this is a very nice NAS. Its ability to serve files with only a password through the my-Ditto app is a handy feature. I also like the remote access using the USB key, although there is a potential security issue.

I quickly set up the server and copied a bunch of music files over. This NAS seems a bit slower than my NETGEAR ReadyNAS Duo even using the same hard disks (Hitachi 1TB). It might just be my impression since I am so used to the ReadyNAS. I later decided to install another 1TB HDD and configured the my-Ditto as RAID 1. This wiped out all the data unfortunately. I did expect it to do that. Still it took a long time to format the disks and configure for RAID operation. Once operational, copying files is still sluggish and it takes time for mirrored images to appear.

A feature of the ReadyNAS I often use is the automatic download from the front USB port. The my-Ditto has a USB copy button but it is only for the rear USB port and is not automatic. I question why they placed the rear USB port so close to the power switch. It would be easy to accidentally switch the unit off when blindly plugging in the USB stick. When testing, both NAS took roughly the same amount of time to copy the contents. The my-Ditto does beep to indicate copy start and stop.

Both the my-Ditto and ReadyNAS show up on the network and are visible other computers and devices (e.g. TV, DVD player, TiVo).

Sleeve360

Sleeve360
  • Fully Adjustable Detachable Handstrap Built for Maximum Comfort
  • Free Spinning Fully Rotating Hand Strap for Multiple Viewing Angles
  • Portrait and Landscape Stand
  • Keyboard Flaps to Put the Sleeve360 into Keyboard Mode
  • Drawstring Travel Pouch Included

After using it for less than 2 hrs the glue that holds the strap to the case came off. It is unfortunate because the engineering is great, they need to figure out how to better secure the strap.

Buy Sleeve360 Now

This is the PERFECT iPad case/stand/whatever! I had previously bought a leather folder-type case, which could fold in a certain way to allow the iPad to stand up and watch videos in landscape format, but it never really stood up securely and had a flap to close it that was annoying. The Sleeve360 has an ingenious handstrap, which lets you securely hold the iPad with your hand and spin it from landscape to portrait viewing while holding it safely attached to your hand. It also opens up into a stand, which will let the iPad stand up in either configuration! The strap also comes off easily when you want to lay the iPad flat and open two little flaps which hold it at keyboard angle. I can't say how much I have enjoyed mine, except that I bought a second one just to give to a friend!

I did have an issue one day where the hinge on the strap broke, but customer service was very fast and sent me a replacement strap within days. I am VERY happy!

My case is falling apart. I have written Thinkfast three times with no reply. No replies. Assuming no one gets any support.

Want Sleeve360 Discount?

There is a quality problem with this case. I bought mine back in April 2011, by July 2011 the glue on the handle was failing which held the strap together. Since there was a warranty, I contacted Sleeve360 for help, they wanted to charge me $5 for a replacement handle (!!??) under warranty (!!??) for a design flaw they were clearly aware of. I received a replacement handle (Free, after I protested the charge for the replacement handle). I was happy with the case again. My ipad gets very lite use, never leaves the house. Here we are now in Sept 2011, the new handle has broken in two places, the hinge for the easel function and the little tabs that hold the handle to the case. I give up on the Sleeve360 design.

This is one of those "sliced bread" ideas that is breathtaking in its simplicity. The sleeve makes the (original) Ipad far more useful. It's easy to use, easy to maneuver. The built-in stand is also extremely useful. I truly felt that I got value in exchange for my purchase. Only criticism is that it could be constructed a bit better -our first one broke when a hinge was overstressed -if it was constructed a bit more stoutly perhaps I wouldn't have had to purchase a second. But there's nothing like it -*really* useful addition to an Ipad. Highly recommended.

SanDisk 8GB SDHC Ultra Secure Digital Flash Memory Card 15 MB/sExcellent High Speed memory chip at a great price! I use it in my Nikon digital camera and am very happy with the capacity and performance. "nuff said!"

When it comes to memory cards, for me, they either stink or they don't. This one works great.

The speed is more than fine on a professional Fuji camera and I don't notice any slowdown when going through the archive of pictures/videos. It's a class 4 (which is fine for most pics/vids) and transfers at a solid 15MB which again should be plenty if you're doing the normal video taking or picture taking.

If you're going to record in high definition (especially 1080) then I'd recommend a higher class card and more GB but if you're just wanting a memory card for normal picture files or smaller video files, this works great.

Also has a lock/unlock tab on the card just in case you want to protect your files from accidentally being erased.

Pandigital PANSCN08 Handheld Wand Scanner, scan up to 8.5-inch x 14-inch, Purple

Pandigital PANSCN08 Handheld Wand Scanner, scan up to 8.5-inch x 14-inch, Purple
  • Includes rechargeable battery
  • Can scan pages up to 8.5 wide by 14 inches long
  • Images are scanned up to 600dpi and can be saved as JPEG or PDF files
  • No PC required, scan directly the microSD card on board
  • Easily create editable electronic files from scanned documents

I was so excited about this product, as a teacher I have tons of lessons, manuals and just stuff I run across at library's and workshops I wish I could copy for classroom use, and this seemed like perfection. But the included SD card that the PageManager program is pre-loaded on is defective. On top of that, although you can plug the scanner directly into your computer you can't scan anything much less calibrate the poor thing without a working SD card.

Contacted the Manufacturer's Customer Service department and the advised me to try and copy the program on to my computer with the MicroSD's Adapter and purchase a new SD card, really? Apparently, they have no more and the company the partnered with for this product is out of business. So if you get a dud there is really no recourse. I brought my brother one for Christmas I hope his works well.

Don't even bother with this model, their are cheaper versions which are made to function with any MicroSD card, just generally aren't included. I choose this one because with SD card and specific program I thought it would be user friendly and straight-forward. Nope

ViewSonic V37 Pocket PC

ViewSonic V37 Pocket PC
  • A thin, light powerful pocket PC
  • 400MHz Intel Xscale processor
  • Read and respond to e-mail while on the go
  • Includes the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework tools
  • Ultra-thin design weighing about four ounces

I've owned two IPAQs, and several PALMs. This is the best little gadget I ever had. The screen is so bright that even battery-saving settings are clear. Battery life is good, almost 4 hours continuous. Having a Flash Memory and an SD card I record music, books and games. You can listen to headphones and read a book at the same time for hours!

This is the first PocketPC that I've had so I cannot compare it to others. However, I'm very pleased with it. It's light and fits in my hands very well. The stylus is sturdy and comfortable to work with. The touch screen works very well. The display is clear and very bright even with the backlight at half power. The performance is quick and responsive.

If you buy this pda and your battery stops charging you'll lose it. THERE IS NO WHERE ON THIS PLANET (I mean it), NOT A SINGLE STORE where you can find the BP8BULXBIAP1 battery. Viewsonic DISCONTINUED the V37 and the manufacturer in Taiwan won't bother to reply. Once the battery dies, you'll lose your pda. I have one, unfortunately. Buy another brand, so when the battery dies you can just get a new one, like that on your fingers.

Want ViewSonic V37 Pocket PC Discount?

I have had my V37 for almost two years now and I love it. I upgraded from V35 which I also liked. I find the display bright and easy to read; performance is great (< 2 seconds from power off to access to calendar etc), battery life is acceptable and functionality is great! I use all the PM features constantly. I use it to transfer files around, I listen to music, read books, get news, sports and weather. I have purchased several after-market applications that enhance some of the features but even off-the-shelf I loved it. I highly recommend it. I wish Viewsonic would keep the line going. I would buy their next one right away.

Regarding the previous review concerning battery anomalies they can be fixed. However, all PDA's have problems with dumping memory when the battery runs out. You will learn how long your PDA lasts given your personal use, and how often you must overnight-charge it (or use a travel charger).

I've had many Pocket PC's this is the fastest, lightest, easiest to use that I have tried. Much better than many of the iPaqs.

I like this Decal because of the design first and foremost. It gives my PS3 a unique look and also protects the original finish. It sticks well and draws attention to my gaming system. Love it.

Logicube Echo Plus Hard Drive Duplicator

Logicube Echo Plus Hard Drive DuplicatorWe use this device to speed up image deploymentwith the help of the Windows Automated Installation Kit, we constructed and generalized a standard image. This image is cloned with the Logicube and we are able to reduce the configuration/deployment time to about 15 minutes total by eliminating the time spent copying files from a DVD or flash drive. The Logicube will copy to a standard SATA disk at about 2.5GB/sec. Add to that the time it will take to scan both disks, power them up, error check, etc. This device clones a standard windows 7 install (12-15GB with installed software)in about 5 minutes on clever mode.

The Logicube also comes in handy with touchy, older equipment. When I start to see signs of drive failuresbad sectors, failing SMART tests, etc. I simply clone the old drive to a new one, run CHKDSK, and begin using the new disk.

I also use the device to blank drives before disposal, by doing a block level copy of a virgin disk.

This device is by far the easiest to use and most dependable I have usedmy average interaction with it consists of pushing the "start|stop" button once to wake it up, once to start the copy.

Money well spent!

rooCASE Netbook Carrying Bag for Toshiba NB505-N508BL 10.1-Inch Netbook Blue - Classic Series Dark B

rooCASE Netbook Carrying Bag for Toshiba NB505-N508BL 10.1-Inch Netbook Blue - Classic Series Dark Blue / BlackThis case is everything I expected and more! Has plenty of room for all the accessories, dvd drive, mouse, both chargers, all the cables, everything, and the shoulder strap is just about the only one I've ever run across that is actually as non-slip as it says it is! All in all I think I got lucky, since I didn't have a lot of experience with laptops and notebooks before this, so this purchase was somewhat of a shot in the dark, and after talking with my Sons who do know a lot about them, I couldn't have done better!

My Asus 1015PEM netbook and the power cord fit well in the main compartment. The outer pocket will easily hold an external DVD player and a mouse. The case is big enough so the items fit well without bulging. If extra padding is wanted, one can also put the netbook inside a neoprene sleve and put that inside the rooCASE.

Although this rooCASE says it is for the Toshiba netbook, the one that specifies the Asus netbook has exactly the same dimensions, so looks to be the same case.

BoxWave Capacitive LG Arena KM900 Styra (Magnet Blue)

BoxWave Capacitive LG Arena KM900 Styra
  • Works on all capacitive touch screens
  • Integrated and capped pen, perfect for taking paper notes
  • Conveniently designed in pen form, perfect for carrying around
  • Durable construction
  • Perfect for cold days when you don't want to remove your gloves

Nice product for a good price. The case developed a small tear along the seam line after just a few days but so far has remained small and doesn't affect the usage. The case has a cool feel and protects my phone well. Several people thought that it was a new phone not realizing it was a cover. The cover I bought was "Future Blue" and was very pretty. BoxWave Capacitive NOOKcolor Stylus (Jet Black)

BoxWave Capacitive NOOKcolor Stylus
  • Works on all capacitive touch screens
  • Conveniently designed in pen form, perfect for carrying around
  • Durable construction
  • Perfect for cold days when you don't want to remove your gloves
  • Available in Jet Black, Metallic Silver, Crimson Red, Lunar Blue, or Bold Orange color

I got this for my Nook Color and it was okay, but not outstanding. In search of the perfect stylus, I also bought an iFaraday stylus as well as a Wico-C. They weren't any better. After using all three, I found that their performance was about equal good, but not outstanding. The Boxwave ultimately got the nod because the plug at the end of the short lanyard fits nicely into the jack of my Nook Color, with just enough length for me to tuck the stylus in along the side of my ereader. I can keep it plugged in and still close the cover so it doesn't get lost. If you use the plug in method to keep track of your stylus, note that when the plug is inserted in the jack the speaker will be disabled, and you'll have to remove the plug to hear any audio. I do have to say that fifteen dollars for this stylus seems a little excessive for what amounts to a metal tube with a tapper on the end.

I bought this item with the intention of using it on my nook color to help me highlight documents in repligo/ezpdf, and do some fun doodling in autodesk or whatever. As a tool for selecting buttons and turning pages, it does what it should. As an item for being accurate and as consistent as my finger it falls short. I am partially inclined to chalk this up to my using of my nook for more than it's intended for, as it's not sold to run the apps I'm using the stylus for. However, these apps are more responsive to my finger, which to me says it's a conductivity issue, and not a software/hardware issue.

I have been looking for a stylus since I recieved my Nook, I was sent a few that were not compatable. This item is great in winter and you have gloves on. It is also condusive with long finger nails, as I have. It realy does make reading my nook and searching alot easier

I bought this to use with ApMemo Lite for my rooted NC. It works ok but somewhat inconsistently. With practice I think it may become more usable, but for now my finger tip is easier. It tends to skip like a second rate pen, but like a pen it sometimes writes properly when I go over the same letter a second time. I was hoping to be able to use my NC as an all-purpose tablet at work to replace an over-stuffed Circa portfolio. I keep a lot of pdfs and other documents which are great since I have all the references I need rather than printing stacks of articles and stuffing them into my Circa.

The stylus would have eliminated the need to bring a notebook. Until I find one or adapt to this one that is at least a functional as pen and paper, I'll be stuck lugging both around.

This works pretty good for the Nook, almost too good! Sometimes the Nook senses it when I don't want it to. Got to play around with the Nook to adjust the settings, if I can. But this is a handy tool to have, saves screen from getting smeared, and it is just nice to use.

"Blue Hawaiian Flower on Black Snap on Hard Skin Shell Protector Faceplate Cover Case for Pantech Ea

'Blue Hawaiian Flower on Black Snap on Hard Skin Shell Protector Faceplate Cover Case for Pantech Ease P2020 + Microfiber Pouch Bag + Case Opener PickBought this for my teenage daughter and it served its purpose prior to her dropping the phone. The case was snug to the phone, sliding action wasn't hindered, and all buttons and ports were accessible. After dropping the phone, one of the tabs holding it together broke off allowing the case to pop apart. All in all, we're pleased with it and going to order another, just wish it had more than one life.

Quartet Classic Comfort Laser Pointer, Class 2, Projects 150 Yards, Graphite Gray Barrel (MP-2703G2Q

Quartet Classic Comfort Laser Pointer, Class 2, Projects 150 Yards, Graphite Gray Barrel
  • Ultra-bright laser dot is easily viewed even against high-lumen projections
  • Rubberized cushion grip
  • Stylish, classic shape
  • Class II rating reduces risk of injury

I bought this laser pointer after the previous cheap brand I purchased melted after a couple of hours. So far this one has functioned flawlessly. Instructions for battery insertion are not on the product, but are in the instructions. I bought this one because it uses a battery size I can recharge, which is a huge advantage.

Recieved this laser pointer yesterday, new batteries, it only works "some of the time". During a one-hour lecture I was dismayed to have to repeatedly push the button to make it work. And sometimes when the red dot appeared it would fade to a small faint dot or the dot would stray off-axis like something was loose inside. Sometimes it just wouldn't turn on. VERY FRUSTRATING! Replaced the AAA batteries, same problem. Design problems or poor quality control, don't care which, this laser pointer is useless. Made in China.

Bought this from a local office supply store. I chose it because it runs on standard AAA batteries (I was tired of the special batteries my old laser pointer needed). Nice brass body gave it a comfortable weight, and the green rubberized cover was nice. The black cowling over the laser prevented audience members from being distracted by dispersion or glare from the emitting end. However, after 6 months of usage, the light faded, and replacing the batteries did not work. The proper direction for the batteries was not marked on the unit. Tried both ways, neither worked. Sorry it failed since the physical design of the unit is nice.

I bought this product some years ago (mine was manufactured in 2008) to give the cat some exercise. Class II was a selling point, it's safer to use than a higher-power model, it's still plenty bright for indoor use. The AAA batteries are easy to replace, and a set of batteries lasts a long time. My one complaint with it is that the activation button sometimes takes an extra push to convince the unit to turn on. It could be that the contacts have oxidized over the years. Aside from that, it has done well. I haven't seen any current offerings that look any better than this one for use as a pet toy.

Socket Communications 10/100 Ethernet CF Card

Socket Communications 10/100 Ethernet CF Card
  • Compatible with Windows CE Handheld PC Pro 2.11, Pocket PC 3.0 and Handheld PC Pro 3.0
  • Link your pocket PC to a partner PC from anywhere on the network
  • Sleek design integrates connector and CompactFlash card into one unit
  • Convenient LED indicators for link, speed, full duplex, transmit, receive, and collision
  • Fast 10/100 Mbps speeds with auto-negotiation and full duplex

OK what do you expect from a 10/100 card in 2003? It better work... well this one had no hickups on my Toshiba e740. Good

package (ubiquitos tamper-broof plastic) and extremely sparse

manual. All you have to do is drop in the CD, install the driver, and reset. Then drop in the card. The Toshiba has built in WiFi, but sometimes I need a traditional hardwire connection. This card is definitely the one to get.

I ran various sniffing, ping, telnet, and other advanced netorking programs all functioned flawlessly. There is an

update of the driver on the socketcom.com web site, but installing the update had no perceptible change.

Recommended.

It gives a reliable ethernet connection on my Zaurus SL-5500. It is small, and convenient. It is much faster than dialup.

What can I say, it worked.

It takes some time for it to initialize like maybe 1-2 minutes.

Some times it will never work unless you re-seat it so its best to re-seat it every time.

You need to make sure you computer is running active sync in order for you to install the drivers.

With vista you have to go into your control panel and enable the active sync. XP launched the active

sync as soon as it detected my pda.

Everything else works like any other PDA network device so the menus are all the same.

On the software side you don't have to modify any of your code to get this to work.

The Socket Communications 10/100 Ethernet CF Card works great with my HP IPAQ 3800.

I purchased this for my Casio E-200. I assumed it would work since it was using a CF Slot I type. I tried everything possible but nothing worked. I went to the socketcom.com webpage and there was nothing listed saying it would not. The worst thing is this was the only 10/100 card I found and really wanted it for testing LAN's. Now I either wait for the drivers or purchase a 10mb card instead. One last item is the technical support did reply very quickly in regards to my question on compatibility.
