Electric Avenue 82-5184 Disinfecting Portable UV Scanner

Electric Avenue 82-5184 Disinfecting Portable UV Scanner
  • Safe and effective
  • Portable for travel or purse
  • Range of wavelength is 9.98 inches
  • Requires 4 AAA batteries (not included)
  • Dimensions: 1.875 x 1.25 x 5 inches

I was very disappointed. Made of very cheep plastic, not put together well at all. The directions say you should put the scanner 2-3 inches away from the item, yet, the design of the UV scanner will not allow you to get that close.

I wasted $30. + SH.

This the 3rd review Ive been asked to give about this product. It has not changed since the first review. I am highly disappointed in this product. I did receive it in a timely manner but the product came with no instructions. The scanner sometimes lights when you open it and sometimes it does not light when you open it. The light itself is bearly visible. Im not sure if its not working properly or not. I did email the company asking for clarification but I have never received a reply. I would not recommend this product.

I was sort of skeptical of this item after reading some of the reviews, especially when so many reviewers reported that the bulb did not work. I received my item today and once I turned it on (by opening the hinge), I was alarmed to find that there was no light coming from the lamp. However, I then proceeded to make sure the bulb was secure by pushing it into its socket (LATERALLY, WHICH IS TOWARDS THE HINGE), and immediately the blue colored (UV) light came on. I think the bulbs just have a tendency to become loose in their socket, so you just have to remember to make sure it's secure. (Caution: be careful you don't force it too hard or else it could break in your fingers.)

ALSO, you should protect your eyes with (at least) a pair of UV blocking sunglasses when operating this device. Do not shine this onto your skin and especially avoid contact with your eyes.

Hope this helps.

When I got this, it was brand new, however, something inside it rattles around and it doesn't work. I got it to work once or twice, but only after messing around with the batteries and shaking it. I won't buy another one.

I got this new Disinfective UV. It said I had to use certain type of batteries, so I bought the brand new AAA batteries. The device did not work. The light was not on after flip it open. There was no switch button. I tried to contact Amoazon during second weekk of the purchase, this product was not even on my recent purchase list, therefore I could not go through Amazon return. I checked my credit card payment, Amazon clearly charged me for this product.I also had the receipt. I am too busy to monkey around with Amazon return. So this junk is sitting on my desk. All I want to tell you is that the disinfecting UV scanner I bought did not work.

iGadgitz Pink 'Guardian' PU Leather Case Cover for HTC Flyer / Evo View 4G 7" Inch Android Tablet

iGadgitz Pink 'Guardian' PU Leather Case Cover for HTC Flyer / Evo View 4G 7' Inch Android Tablet
  • Stylish hand stitched designer leather case with unique style
  • Customised design to fit the HTC Flyer with cut-outs for all ports cameras, sensors and buttons
  • Camera lens protection
  • 3 position viewing stand designed to integrate smartly into the case
  • Magnet free design means all compass related navigation features will still work accurately!

I have recently purchased an HTC EVO View 4G. I have purchased no less than 5 cases for this tablet. This case features everything that I was looking for (especially the attachment for storing the scribe pen). The cutouts are in all the right places. It has 3 different positions for viewing. The elastic band provides extra closure and covers the camera lense for added resistance to scratches. Inside, the frame around the tablet allows access to the menu and scribe button from either landscape or portrait mode. All this and stylish in leather!

I also have a navitech and a flyer case from Best Buy. These others each had options I wanted, but none with all of them. This case not only has more options, but fits better. Price was excellent too!

I got the HTC flyer, and was unable to find a good decently priced case for it. I saw this one and decided to purchase it, it fits perfect, I love the color and the style, only one thing, the pen holder is extremely snug; however, I hope that with use it will be just right. I absolutely love this case and would recommend it to other people.

This is a nice case, but the HTC Flyer pen does NOT fit the stylus sleeve. The pen holder is close , but not quite large enough to get the pen in even with trying to stretch it.

Want iGadgitz Pink 'Guardian' PU Leather Case Cover for HTC Flyer / Evo View 4G 7" Inch Android Tablet Discount?

I put this case on my flyer right away and have no reason to remove it since I like almost everything about it. The built in stand works great, the leather is high quality and I love the color since it makes it easy to spot my tablet. All the openings are in the right place and it was a great buy. My only complaint is that the stylus holder is too small. I have the same stylus as in the photo, but there's no way it will fit. Aside from that, this is great.

I am so very delighted with my iGadgitz Pink 'Guardian' PU Leather Case Cover for HTC Flyer Android Tablet it is everything I had hoped for. It holds the tablet very securely and is comfortable to hold. Whoever designed this case put a lot of thought into it all the openings for the cameras speakers etc are in exactly the right place. Amazing value for the price.

PALM OEM 157-10094-00 BATTERY TREO 755 755P

PALM OEM 157-10094-00 BATTERY TREO 755 755PPrice was good, $5.99 including shipping. It was described as 1200mAh and 6.19mm thick. Actual is 1600mAh and 8mm thick so it did not fit my phone. However, the part number is correct and the picture shows the part number and 1600mAh.

I have a Palm Treo 750 that used 1200mAh battery and this battery does not charge in my phone. I feel that it was my fault for not checking if the picture, the part number, and description match. Thus I decided not to return it.

Let me address the one really bad review. I got the video with bolero playing and found it quite helpful, even though I'd done this before and had written instructions by the original hacker who figured out how to replace the battery. So, I have a bit of knowledge.

The leather cover comes out by pinching inward on each side the black plastic bar at the bottom. There are 2 plastic hooks that point outward on each side. Most people don't use that I guess.

The other issue is that the left side rocker switch has to be carefully left in place, so you have to actually pull the motherboard to the right side of the case to free the rocker switch. I forgot about that too (I've replaced mine a few times, but each lasts about 2 years so I forget how). Then there's the little ir red cap at the top, it has 2 little nipples so you can see (need some magnification) how to put that back in.

I actually dislodged the rocker switch and the spring flew out. At least I didn't break anything. In case you do that too: There's 3 parts, the plastic frame that with tweezers and 2 hands you can put that spring back in by holding one side in with your finger and using the tweezers to depress the spring and put back in the other side. There's 2 little plastic retainers on either side for the spring. The circle part of the spring fits over a round pluglike piece of plastic. Then put the plastic back on the board, and the metal retainer fits back on top. Then try to be real careful when putting the board back in, put the rocker switch back in first, with the motherboard on an angle, then lower the right side of the mother board. Better yet, don't dislodge the rocker switch.

The other item is the power switch. Use some black electrical tape on the outside to keep it from falling out when you remove the case. No biggie if it does fall out, it goes back in easy. But you will be putting the case on with the main unit with motherboard on the bottom, so the switch can fall out as you place the top case back on the main board. They show you doing it sort of sideways, but then the ir red plastic tends to fall out that way.

My problem was that the bottom set of buttons had dislodged and when I put it all back together, the buttons were being pushed all the time. I removed the case again and saw how they snap into little holes.

Then there was a small cylinder rubber thing that wasn't in the video, but I'm hoping it's a newer rev that covers some metal cap at the top. It fell out too, and seemed to fit over that. Seems like I got that right.

And since I have 2 iques where my other's gps internal antenna broke long ago (but useful as a pda and I have an external antenna too), I figured I might want to swap the backs since my working unit that I replaced the battery for was cracked and swollen. Funny thing, I didn't remember dropping it.

Turns out the last battery I replaced was wrapped in air tight plastic and must have leaked or generated some sort of gas since it was like a blown up balloon. And THIS was enough pressure to crack the back of my ique. I took this old battery outside and carefully pin pricked it, and sure enough, some gas escaped and the battery shrunk down to its original size. I sure hope this new battery doesn't do this too. Anyway, with the new battery, the case reformed itself, although there's still the crack down the back. But all is working. I'm now going to buy another one for a spare or maybe replace the one in my spare unit.

Only after I installed everything did I discover that I hadn't seen the written instructions that came with this. On reading, they do seem pretty well written, but I still recommend the video.

Hope this tail helps someone else with this still great pda / gps device.

My Ique3600's battery was pretty much dead, and so I bought this battery as a replacement. It came with all the required tools, and a decent set of directions.

A warning to those doing this replacement: Remember to back up your Ique information before starting. I forgot, and lost all my address information from since my last synchronization. It might have been nice if they had included that in the 1st line of the directions, but it's really my own fault for not thinking that through.

The installation directions were otherwise very good, and included specific mention of how to twist things to get them apart. It wasn't trivial, but wasn't really that hard either, and it came apart and went back together just as they said. The only thing different for me was that they said to put the battery "label up" with the wire in the "bottom left", but on my battery "labelup" put the wire in the top left -which still reached the plug OK.

Others said their battery level indicator didn't work after doing this. I think mine DOES work, at least when I started it said about 50%, and after charging it said 100%. I guess I'll have to run it down and see if it gives me a good result. In the meantime, I used the Ique at church (it has my bible on it), and in 30 minutes according to the battery level indicator I hardly dented this battery, even with my screen at nearly full brightness (with the dead battery I had to work with the lowest brightness; full brightness would shut the machine down immediately).

With the tools provided in this kit I successfully replaced the battery in less than 1/2 hour. It apparently charges okay and does the job but the Garmin doesn't show the battery status as it did with the original so it's not possible to know if it needs to be recharged until it quits. As a result I try to keep it on the charged stand when I'm able.

Mini (Black) KP-810-10-BTT Wireless Bluetooth Handheld Keyboard and Multi-Touchpad w/ Laser Pointer

Mini KP-810-10-BTT Wireless Bluetooth Handheld Keyboard and Multi-Touchpad w/ Laser PointerExcellent product. Does everything and more for it's small size and price point. One thing overlooked in documentation: To pair with PC, you can choose not to provide a PIN, however, when connecting and pairing with Android HID Bluetooth, program requires a PIN. You can type ANY PIN you'd like (4 or more characters), select finish, THEN...IMMEDIATELY go to iPazzPort keyboard and type the same PIN number and press ENTER. Android should now recognize the keyboard and touch pad. (Tested on stock Droid Bionic 5.5.893)

Bought this for my Galaxy S3 so i can use it to type. I bought the HDMI adapter as well. I have my phone plugged into the TV and sit back on the couch and use the keyboard to type and move the cursor around. Works perfectly fine for me. Have yet to figure out how to get the laser pointer to work to screw with my dogs BUT other than that it has worked flawlessly. Also love that it comes with a usb bluetooth adapter if your computer doesnt have bluetooth built in. Distance is fine, walked to the other side of the house and was still working.

Let me start out by saying this device isn't for everyone. But if you're looking for a keyboard/mouse combo the size of a remote for presentations, a game system, or a tablet, it does the job and does it well. I wish the scrollbar was on the side instead of the bottom of the touchpad and that the page up/down buttons were on the top, but other than that, it's a steal for the price. Battery life is excellent, I've went at least a couple of days without charging. The backlighted keys are a nice touch, as is the ability to rotate the orientation of the touchpad.

(Note: This is also sold under the Rii brand, but Unisen is the actual manufacturer. This is the latest/best model as of 02/09/13)

I guess I got a dud. The blue light blinks like it's in pairing mode but it won't connect. I tried with two different computers and an android phone. I even tried with a different bluetooth adapter nub and nothing. I know bluetooth on the other devices is working, just not this. Bummer.

So I had looked at quite a few mini keyboard/trackpad combinations and I figured I would try this one out. Purchased it about 2 weeks ago, paired relatively easily with the included BT dongle on my HTPC running windows 7. I had to try a couple times to get it to pair before it timed out on me, but once that was done it hasn't lost a connection since. We use it daily, haven't had a single problem with it. Only had to charge it once 2 days after we got it. I'd have to say this was one awesome purchase.

Also our dogs/cats love the included laser pointer :D

Krusell Multidapt - Car Holder for Swivel Clip (58117)

Krusell Multidapt - Car Holder for Swivel ClipI recently bought my first GPS unit, the Tom Tom One, and quickly found out that mounting it on the windshield is illegal in the state of California. So, out goes the suction cup holder, which was flimsy and mounted it too far from my reach anyway.

I tried using velcro, which worked okay, but the GPS unit was wobbly and hard to use. I'd have to take it off, input the location then stick it back on.

The Krusell Carholdic Kit, in addition to the Krusell Phoneholdic Kit, was the perfect solution to mounting the Tom Tom on my dashboard. I can't stress enough how well it works.

The Krusell Carholdic Kit is the mount that goes on the dashboard. It's the female half, whereas the Krusell Phoneholdic Kit is the male half. You stick the Cardholdic mount on your dashboard, which looks like it should be there and has a sturdy feel. You just peel the backing off and stick it on.

The Phoneholdic Kit contains the mount that sticks to the back of the GPS unit. Peel and stick then use either the round Swivel knob or the MiniClip by snapping it in place (both come with the Phoneholdic Kit). I used the MiniClip because it provides the best hold.

You're done!

You've made your Tom Tom into a portable unit that can clip on your belt or onto the Carholdic mount on your dashboard. It looks and works great!

OmniPen Pro

OmniPen Pro
  • Combines 4 functions into 1 sleek, matte-finished, executive pen design
  • Integrated black ballpoint pen, red laser pointer, LED reading light, and PDA stylus
  • Durable construction
  • Perfect for presentations
  • Provides you with additional conveniences that are essential for the real world

I just got mine yesterday. Feels very nice in the hand when writing and using it as a stylus. The stylus tip glides over my PDA screen very nicely. There seems to be some extra weight in the middle of the pen, changing the center of balance more towards the middle. The laser is bright in low light areas, and the flashlight will adequately light up about 2-5 yards.

My only complaints are that the buttons for using the laser pointer and LED flashlight rattle around a bit in the pen, and that there's no way to prevent the buttons from being pushed while the pen is riding around in my pocket.

Update:

I've had this pen for about a month, and the tip broke off. The glue holding the tip to the collar gave way, right in the middle of a meeting. I would revise this review to 2 stars, but I can't change the rating.

Buy OmniPen Pro Now

I ordered Boxwave's Ominpen pro because i needed a stylus for my G1. Even though the website listed it with other G1 accessories, It did not work with the G1. The G1, as well as the iPod touch, iPhone, and Blackberry Storm use capacitive touchscreens. Capacitive touchscreens register the electrons in your fingernails, which is why they dont work with styluses and other things besides your fingerpads. The Nintendo Ds series, LG Dare, Samsung Instinct, and HTC Touch Diamond use Resistive touchscreens. Resistive screens are comprised of several layers. The top layer, usually a clear polyester film, is flexible. When a finger presses down, the top layer comes in contact with a lower glass layer. The voltage is measured and the location of the press is computed. That is why stluses work with these types of phones.

If your buying the Omnipen pro, make sure you look up which type of touchscreen your device uses.

I rated this product three stars because although the stylus didn't work, it is still an excelent pen and the Flashlight and Lazerpointer are pretty cool. They're great for presentations!

Read Best Reviews of OmniPen Pro Here

I bought this pen from BoxWave, which they show as compatible with my table PC. As soon as I received the pen, I realized that not only was the pen NOT compatible with my laptop, it is also pretty poorly made.

Also, trying to get BoxWave to respond to any inquiries is near impossible...as they don't list a phone number. They only communicate by email.

The only reason I give it one star is because the laser light and pen light are nice and fun to use. The actual ink pen writes pretty nicely, as well.

Going Paperless for Dummies Scan & Organize Your Documents

Going Paperless for Dummies Scan & Organize Your Documents
  • 0

Going Paperless for Dummies is software that assists you in scanning a document, converting it to text using optical character recognition (OCR), loading it into Word, Excel, or an Adobe pdf document, (or your favorite word processor, spreadsheet, or pdf viewer/editor) and then saving it. Once a document has been scanned it is searchable and the text can be edited. Going Paperless requires Windows 7, Vista, XP, or 2000. There's not a Going Paperless version for the Mac.

What's in the box: a Quick Start Guide, a 57 page User Guide (paperback), and a CD with the Going Paperless software plus another program: the Electronic Filing Cabinet. A scanner is not included in the box (but there is an option to use a digital camera). Word, Excel, and Adobe software are also not included (but see the Options paragraph below).

Registration: When I registered the software, I received a message that I was using an old version (version 12) of ReadIRIS, the OCR software. And I was offered the new version 14 of ReadIRIS for $79 (regular $129). There was no free update and I declined the $79 offer.

Installation: Loading the software is easy. I chose not to install the 50+ different languages. After the program was installed, your scanner may or may not be automatically detected. My Brother MFC-495 was not detected. So I followed the instructions, selected TWAIN, and then found my scanner in the TWAIN "Scanner Model" list. So I was good to go.

Use: The basic process is to place a document on your scanner, choose to scan to Word, Excel, or a PDF, and then your document will be scanned and opened in the Going Paperless Window with an option to save and open the document in Word, Excel, or your PDF software. Optical Character Recognition is performed when text is recognized. (You can also scan and save it as an image file. Going Paperless can also perform OCR on an existing image on your computer.)

Going Paperless document window: After an image is scanned (or an image file is opened) a representation of it will appear in the Going Paperless document window. You will see what the automatic page analysis has determined the sections or zones in your document to be: the border colors are orange for text, purple for images, pink for tables, green for barcodes, and blue for hand printed text zones. If your text was not converted, check to see if it was determined to be an image (purple). You can manually change a zone type (right click and select Window | Type) and then reprocess the document (click Process + Save).

Options: For anything other than a very basic text document, you may have to go into the options for improving on the results. There are options for manually defining the zones (text, images, tables, barcodes, hand-printed text (must be all caps), or zones to be ignored). There are options for formatting, resolution, language, character pitch, black and white, grayscale, or color, straighten the scan (Deskew) if it is tilted, automatic document feeder (ADF) or "interval" scanning for multi-page documents, generate bookmarks, etc. If you don't have Word and Excel, you can choose AbiWord, Adobe Reader, the clipboard, an HTML editor, Jarte, Lotus Symphony, Nvu, OpenOffice, StarOffice, WordPerfect, or WordPad (text frames and columns are not supported by Wordpad so a special page analysis and single column format is used). There is also an option to use a digital camera rather than a scanner.

Formats: Going Paperless supports the following formats: Adobe Acrobat (pdf), DCX fax (fcx), DjVu Images (djv, dcx), JPG (jpg, jpeg), JPEG 2000 (j2c, j2k, jp2), Portable Graphics Network (png), Compressed & multipage TIFF images, LZW, PackBits (tif, tiff), Windows Bitmap (bmp), and Zsoft Paintbrush images (pcx).

Support: Page 4 of the Users Guide gives a website and phone number for support. When I went to the website and tried to submit a support request I received an error message.

Performance: Conversion to text was fairly quick on my computer. It took just a few seconds to perform the OCR of a full page letter, but your mileage may vary. I scanned the back of the Going Paperless box into Word without changing any of the options. (See the pictures that I uploaded.) The following text was accurately loaded into Word (along with images):

v Easy To Use

Simple For Dummies program with easy, intuitive buttons and

directions for any person to go paperless.

v Efficient

With best-in-market technology made easy by For Dummies,

going paperless is a fast and easy process.

v Convenient

Save time, never have to search through piles of paper on the

kitchen table, office desk, or file cabinet again. Once

paperless, everything is immediately searchable and viewable

at the click of a button.

v Stress Free

Never worry about losing or accidently discarding a document again.

v Ideal Tools For

Bills, tax returns, contracts, warranties, letters, certificates,

bank papers, titles, insurance documents, recipes, report cards,

diploma, passport, official documents, mortgage, investments, and more.

My first test of scanning a table into Excel did not go well. I scanned a budget table with row and column headings and 5 columns of numbers (which had been printed landscape rather than portrait). What I received in Excel was the following garbage: "0 ~ (!) c (!) (f) >. After trying several different things I was able to get all of the headings and numbers scanned into Excel (when a gray-colored row was removed and the document was turned and scanned in portrait). All of the numbers and text headers were correct. However, for all of the cells with numbers Excel gave me a warning message that the number in the cell was formatted as text. So I had to select those cells (as a range) and then click the error message and select the convert to number option.

Scanning landscape documents: Doesn't work automatically for me. There is a scanner option for landscape but I couldn't tell that it really did anything. However for Word documents I was able to have success when I scanned the document and then clicked Process | Rotate clockwise, and then Process + Save. However the same procedure didn't work so well for tables I wanted to scan into Excel. Columns disappeared and some of the numbers were marked as text zones. I changed the text zones to table zones but they didn't get merged into a single table. And I couldn't save the result to Excel, only to Word.

Electronic Filing Cabinet Software: This program installs separately. There was no documentation and I chose not to install it. However the Dummies website states: "Contains all the pre-built folders you need in life! One click simplicity to save, file and retrieve all the documents that matter. Save statements, bills, receipts, warranties, email, agreements, and web articles . . . you now have a place to file everything!"

CONCLUSION: My initial round of tests showed that scanning basic portrait documents produced very accurate Optical Character Recognition of text and numbers. Text that is not level on the page and complex documents may produce some formatting challenges. OCR of scanned landscape documents were not processed well automatically. I was able to overcome the landscape issue for text documents but not for tables that I wanted to scan into Excel. I would give 4.5 stars for scanning basic documents that are portrait mode and maybe 3 stars for complex documents and landscape documents.

This is really a nice ipad leather case. You don't have to hold the whole case when you are using your ipad, because you can detach it, making it much lighter. I really like this case and recommend it to anyone.

  • Sturdy construction allows for rugged go-anywhere use

Great accessory for Jornada. Even has backlight so can be used in dark, adds little to no weight to Jornada and fits perfectly.

I have one of these pocket keyboards for my Hp Jornada 568, and while it is a great way to type on my jornada, it is missing one very important thing A CONTROL KEY ! It has shift, caps, numbers and a symbol key, but there is NO way to copy and paste text using only the HP keyboard, I have use the screen keyboard ctl-c and ctl-v or the stylus to copy and paste text. What HP needs to do now is release a driver update to provide a control key on the keyboard, since changing the actual keyboard now would not help the people who already have one, and they are not going to ship replacements to everybody.

I love my 568 and also purchased the pocket keyboard. I give only two stars because the keyboard hides the power and USB connectors. If you install the keyboard you have to run off of battery power and must remove the keyboard to use synchronize or recharge.

The manual is bad. You must remove the original cover of the Jornada to install the keyboard. The manual does not tell you how to do this.

If you drop it, the cover and the hinges could come off. Good luck finding the hinges again! Now when I use my keyboard with my jornada, i have to do without a cover becasue those flimsy little hinges are long gone. And I overpaid for mine because I bought it ... at my local Brandsmart. Should have come to [Amazon.com], but it was an impulse buy. The keyboard also seems to add a lot a heft to the pocket pc, even though it doesn't feel that heavy on it own. Other than that, it's great. It beats the hunt and peck method you would otherwise have to use! And it lights up so you can use it in the dark.

I have had the Jornada 720 for approximately 10 years and find it to be user friendly and light weight. I use it for Trade Shows. I do scheduling into Outlook and use the Word Docs for outlines of product and notes and tasks to make certain I have covered all my categories of merchandise to be ordered. It syncs easily with my PC. Great capacity for such a small unit and it has a full keyboard.

Would really like to see it upgraded to a wireless capacity for email and on the go searches.

Rackmount Kit for 1841

Rackmount Kit for 1841

I had to re-drill the holes on the rack mounting portion to hit the regular 19" rack. Not a big issue, but if it is supposed to fit a rack, then it should fit the rack.

Buy Rackmount Kit for 1841 Now

The Item I ordered was the 2 L brackets with screws and less than 10 (I assume there are two different products that would explain the wide price range) and the Cisco 1841 bracket I got from the seller was high quality heavy guage metal that fit like a charm.

PalmOne Tungsten T and T2 Slim Leather Case P10895U

PalmOne Tungsten T and T2 Slim Leather Case P10895U
  • Crafted in soft, full-grained black leather
  • Timeless design and custom fit
  • Space for credit or business cards and expansion cards
  • Stylish tongue and loop closure keep your essentials securely in place
  • Compatible with Tungsten T/T2

As folks have previously mentioned, this case does not allow easy access to the voicememo controls / headset jack on the left side of the T/T2. However, you can turn the unit around in the case if you need those on a regular basis.

Contrary to other reviewers, I have NOT found the power-on issue to be a big problem. The case does have two small leather loops on the inside-bottom of the front cover that are designed to prevent the buttons from depressing. I have a stack of business cards in the front slot in the case which may provide a better buffer for the buttons. Then again, it may be that I'm just relatively careful with my PDA and don't bounce it around a lot.

As one of the only cases designed specifically for the T/T2 line, this case will certainly please most users.

When I bought this case shortly after the TT came out, there weren't a lot of choices. I settled on this case because I don't like metal, but now wish I'd bought the metal case. My TT is a very important tool for me in my work as an ER nurse, and it is aggravating to pull it out to access ePocrates and get a blank screen because it accidentally got turned on in my pocket and drained the battery. Even tho I have it set to turn itself off after a minute, it must get turned on frequently as I standup, sit down, and move about the department. At least once a week this happens, where I'll go to work with a full battery, and try to turn it on to find it drained.

The case is nice looking, and fine if you carry your TT in a briefcase or a large purse or backpack. If you have to carry it in a pocket, as I do, you will not be happy.

Nice case. The TT is held in place by clamps on both sides, similar to the plastic hard cover that comes standars. Holds the PDA firmly in place. It's sleek and elegant, not bulky at all. One big problem though, when the case is closed you can't access the voice recorder button nor the headphone jack, which makes the PDS useless for MP3 playback.

When you get a Tungsten T you want to protect it. There are not that many options, since the Tungsten is a smaller size than most handhelds.

The case and attachment is symmetrical , so if you want access to the headphone jack and recorder button (which can be configured to open an MP3 player instead), just turn your Tungsten around in the case. Pity Palm didn't realize and at least suggest this or better still design for it!

I like the sleeves for Credit/business cards and the little hidden pockets for (2) extra SD cards.

Would be nice to have a case which:

1. Protects the handheld well

2. doesn't have to be removed to HotSync. (I guess this can be worked around with Bluetooth synch. in this case.)

3. Provides sufficient access to non-visual apps. Like MP3 and voice recording. At the moment, you can start Real Player with the VoiceRecord button on the side but it does start playing automatically. So you have to find the play button on the front somehow... Would be a nice option in the preferences of Real Player. (Will have to check out some other players.)

4. The clasp is flexible as content grows but a little awkward.

One option is to extend the Tungsten out of the bottom of the case, whilst jogging, but this is less than ideal!

This case is adequate, but only that. Buttons can be pressed accidentally but are hard to get at when you want to. (For example when you have the Palm in your pocket as an MP3 player.)

I think there is a real opportunity for someone to redesign the Palm cases to be more practical for multiple uses make a case that both protects and is practical for everyday use.
