M-Edge Kindle FlexStand, White (Fits Kindle Keyboard)

M-Edge Kindle FlexStand, WhiteExactly what I hoped for. This stand makes it a pleasure to read while freeing up your hands.

It's super easy to "install" and use just pop the four rubberized, padded corners around each corner of the Kindle, then bend the two protruding back legs into whatever angle you need, and voila, the Kindle is standing on its own. The legs are sturdy, easy to bend, and they stay exactly as you position them. Each leg has a rubber ball at its tip which helps grip the surface you set the stand on. The stand can be used with the Kindle standing vertically or on its side. I've found it pretty stable, even on an uneven surface like a couch or my leg. Its range of adjustment has been more than adequate for my couch/laptop/table/bed reading needs. In the vertical orientation, it will adjust from nearly 90 degrees (Kindle almost completely vertical) back to around 45 degrees.

It seems designed to work with a naked Kindle, and I'm not sure it would be compatible with a cover. My Kindle has just a skin and the stand fits well. It's so unobtrusive I just carry the Kindle around with the stand still attached. You can charge the Kindle in the stand. The stand is lightweight, easy to pick up, and seems to hold the Kindle securely, though I wouldn't be swinging it around or anything. Great product!

I received this today, and have already used it. I'm so happy that I didn't try to buy a cover/stand combination, since I think it would have been a compromise solution. This is terrific. Since it's difficult to figure out from the photos: It's like a very flexible metal piping with rubber feet which can be twisted any way you want to for adjustments. It reminds me of a GUMBY! The flexibility makes it really easy to install and deinstall the corners so that your Kindle can be put back into a case.

I often read with meals, and this is a hands free solution (not to mention much easier on my neck! I can sit with my head up, instead of bent down to the Kindle).

(5/1/11) Just a quick update:

I continue to use the stand often, and have found it useful while reading in bed. It props the Kindle up, so you can be more comfortable, and not have to hold it in one place while you read.

Enjoy!

I bought one for my K2 in February 2010. I loved it. The arms allowed me to form a holder for my K2 to place securely on my treadmill and recumbent bike. Reading while exercising makes the time fly by. All you do is turn on the TTS, turn the sound off, change the layout to landscape and enjoy your book. The TTS will automatically turn the pages for you. This cuts down the chances of knocking your Kindle over. Of course you can't do this wiith books that have the TTS disabled but just plan ahead.

It came in the mail today and I can't wait to work out tomorrow! It also works great for just hands free reading. If you like to knit, crochet, or other crafts, now you can read while you do this too. I highly recommend this to all K3 owners.

LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!! Everyone should get one. It allows the Kindle user to read "hands free." This device is flexible and folds up to easily fit in a purse, backpack, kindle case, or pocket. It can go with wherever the Kindle goes. I absolutely love this! Great for cooking from recipes in the kitchen. Use at desk to study. Use to read and have a child or pet in one's lap. Extremely versatile. Can't say enough good things about this product. A miracle for the Kindle user.

  • Superior protection from scratches and dust

  • Stretchy, silicone material to resist moisture

I know what you're thinkin'.. that's one bright case. Well when I received mine, it wasn't near that electric, which is probably for the better. The case fits snuggly, but the sides seem to be a be flimsy. I've dropped it a few times and the phone still works.. so i guess that means the case does what it's suppose to do. The color is more of a darker greener blue.

The case didn't look like the picture but it fit good, and protects the phone which is the important factor here.

The tablet slides and comes out of the case. I had to velcro it in so it wouldn't move. It's ok for the price.

I really like it. I had to add velcro to keep my tablet from sliding from side to side. Overall it's a nice product.

Want 9.7 Inch Keyboard (Wired Keyboard) Kick Stand Case For Android Tablet + HSINI Touch Screen Stylus Pe Discount?

For the price, it's a great product and you get a lot of bang for your buck. It didn't matter how long it took to ship and arrive to me because it was so inexpensive. BUT, be careful with your tablet while transporting it in the case because it can slip right out! There isn't a tab on the bottom to hold it, which kinda sux because it's not secure despite being a good fit. Just kinda worth it.

The keyboard didn't completely work. like 5 of the buttons were not opperating. At times they worked but not when I needed them to work wich was when I was going to use it. :(

PDair S41 Black Leather Case for BlackBerry Style 9670

PDair S41 Black Leather Case for BlackBerry Style 9670When I first bought my Blackberry Style 9670, I knew I would need a case for it, as I can occasionally be a bit fumble-fingered.

Unfortunately, at the time, I was unable to find a leather case, similar to that I'd used with my previous phone, a LG Lotus. So, instead, I bought an OtterBox Commuter Case for BlackBerry Style 9670. The Otterbox case was good, but had a rather annoying habit of developing stress cracks (which quickly became breaks) when removed nightly to allow use of a charging cradle, such as OEM BlackBerry Charging Pod for BlackBerry Style 9670. (See my reviews of both items.)

This case, being a sleeve type, does not have that problem.

THE GOOD: Vinyl and leather construction negates the need for screen protector on inner screen. Easy to apply and remove as needed. Belt clip knob screws into the back of the case, so can be attached or removed as desired. Fits most ratcheting belt clips and brackets. Genuine leather, similar to mid-range wallets. Ports are unobstructed, as are the side buttons, though the lower two buttons are covered by the vinyl of the lower section.

THE BAD: The opening for the outside screen has no vinyl. While the case will protect against impacts with most surfaces, due to the open-sided construction, should the phone hit a hard corner or edge on the way down, it won't protect against those impacts. The cover piece will slide up when the phone is open, but I suspect this will lessen as the leather straps over the hinge softens with use. Stitching in one area seems a bit loose, but not especially so.

THE UGLY: None.

SHIPPING NOTE: While the estimated delivery date can be as much as an entire month from the date of order (as it is mailed from Hong Kong), mine arrived in under two weeks. The customs declaration listed the item as an "unsolicited gift".

CONCLUSION: If you're looking for an alternative to a snap-on case with the same general coverage, this is definitely the way to go!

EveCASE Black High Quality Premium Leather Carrying Cover Case Folio with Built-in Stand + Clear LCD

EveCASE Black High Quality Premium Leather Carrying Cover Case Folio with Built-in Stand + Clear LCD Screen Protector + 3 Pack Universal Stylus Pen + LCD Screen Cleaner Strap for Amazon Kindle Fire TabletI liked this tablet cover, but unfortunately it didn't fit our tablet. The tablet stylus were ok my son likes them but I would have preferred a stylus with a hard tip. But all in all it is a great buy.

CAREFUL! I should have read that first review. Examine this item closely before you tear open the packaging. The item I received was beautiful and exactly what I wanted but DID NOT FIT MY NEW KINDLE FIRE. This item measures almost exactly 7" x 5" if you look up the Kindle Fire it measures 7.4" long no way it would fit and boy did I try. (I do not have the HD by the way I have the Kindle Fire that has been featured for $159).

I e-mailed back and forth and back and forth with the seller gave them all info + measurements, etc, etc, then they wanted me to call. It was a waste of time and not worth the effort considering the low price. I am enjoying the other items included in the package. Found a great case from another seller for $5.95.

Sony Clie PEG-TJ37/U Handheld

Sony Clie PEG-TJ37/U Handheld
  • Palm OS version 5.2, i.MXL application processor, 32 MB RAM
  • Built-in 310K Pixels CMOS Camera with 2x Digital Zoom (JPEG, 640 x 480 resolution), audio player, and video player
  • High resolution TFT Color Display (320 x 320 dots, 65,536 colors)
  • Integrated Memory Stick slot (compatible with optional Memory Stick Pro media)
  • Internal lithium-ion polymer rechargeable battery

The time had come to replace my aging Palm IIIe. My immediate instinct was to replace it with a Palm Zire 71 or 72. But, after reading some not so favorable reviews of Palm's spotty quality these days I decide to broaden my search. I looked at the Clie TJ27 & TJ37 as well as iPaq's and the Toshiba Pocket PC. Though I liked the way the PocketPC's sounded on paper, a few trips to the store demo'ing them cured me. I know some people swear by PocketPC , but it seems too awkward to me.

So, I was back down to the Zire 72 or the Clie. I decided on the Clie TJ37 because of the built-in WiFi, which is more useful to me than the Bluetooth on the Zire. I have been very happy with the PDA. Here's my Pros/Cons list:

Pros:

1. Great screen, very sharp and nice colors.

2. Super fast when running 3rd party apps.

3. Decent battery. When using under normal PDA use I get about 1 week per charge. Note that using the WiFi drains the battery within about 2.5-3 hours.

4. WiFi! It's great to be able to send/receive email and do a little surfing. Email is definetly more usable than surfing, simply because of screen real estate.

5. The camera is really quite good. It is LOW RES, so it's not suitable for print quality (even little 4x6). However, it's perfect for taking shots that you are going to email or put on the web. And with the WiFi capability you can snap a photo and send it from the PDA. Very handy if you happen to work on the road a lot. The ergonmics of the camera are quite good, much nicer than the Palm models.

5. The built-in software, Picsel, is quite good. It reads a variety of documents, PDF, Image files, HTML, etc. from your memory stick. I like the rest of the bundled software too, DataViz's Docs to Go is essential and it's good that they included it.

Cons:

1. The stylus is just to small. Sony obviously had to make it a telescoping stylus to fit the camera, I just wish it was fatter.

2. For $300 it would be nice to have a case. The cover is good, but a carrying case is necessary.

That's my 2 cents.

Buy Sony Clie PEG-TJ37/U Handheld Now

I was looking for a PDA running Palm OS, WI-FI enabled, and had a built-in camera. The camera wasn't a requirement, but sounded like a neat idea. I settled on the Sony TJ-37, and I haven't been disappointed. Setup was a breeze. All Sony Cliè software is included in ROM, so it doesn't take up precious RAM memory. I liked the applications CD as I got to choose which apps I wanted to install. After installing the included IntelliSync Lite software on my PC, HotSyncing with Outlook was easy. I upgraded the included Documents-To-Go to the Premium version for the extra features, and purchased SnapperMail Premier edition. Now I quite literally have my office in my pocket! The included USB HotSync cable and AC charging cable are a bit awkward, but understandable since they crammed so many features into this PDA. They had to do something to keep the price down. I can't say much about the application buttons as I select all the apps on-screen, but the scroll bar seems to work nicely. The camera is nice for attaching pictures to e-mail, and works great in a pinch, but I wouldn't use it for family photos or anything you may want to enlarge. The included cover is okay, but not the greatest. But that's not a problem, because Sony sent me a FREE leather case with my new Cliè. The case is very nice and protects the PDA from all sides. Except for the HotSync and Charging cables, I am extremely pleased with the Cliè TJ-37. You can't find a WI-FI enabled PDA for a lower price anyware.

Read Best Reviews of Sony Clie PEG-TJ37/U Handheld Here

Internet: The included browser does support cookies and java scripts. It can view most pages. However, if you try to view frames, it gives you a lot of troubles. Also, it didn't come with an email client that you can download emails from your pda, but you can search one for free on the internet and install it. Due to overloaded surfing last night, I have to hard reset my Clie! Required a memory stick if you try to download other files from the internet.

Battery: Battery life is very short, if you continue to surf the internet with this Clie, It's not going to last more than 2hours, maybe less. And Sony stated that the battery can last 10 days. Also, the battery is not removable.

MP3 Player: You need to buy a memory stick in order to use the MP3 player. The build in speaker is very good, better than excepted.

Software: The software included in this Clie is great, you also going to get a free copy of the software "Documents ToGo", which is like having MS Office on your PDA.

Screen: The color is very good, if you have a high quality picture, you can see it VERY clearly on your screen. If you try to see the screen under sunlight/light directly, it's so bad that it's almost unreadable.

Clie Stylus: Very short, light, only fit a child's hand. Sony designed this Clie for Japanese only? They forgot about the Americans.

Voice Recorder: No voice recorder, no microphone, but all MS Pocket PC PDAs have voice recorders.

Cover: You Clie are going to be open like a book, because this Clie come with a cover, is not same as the pictures shown on amazon.com. This is excellent, because you don't need to buy a case.

Overall, this Clie is COOL! High Quality, Stylish Design, Nice Cover.

Want Sony Clie PEG-TJ37/U Handheld Discount?

The Sony Clié PEG-TJ37 is the perfect combination of Style, Functionality and Price. The silver finish is very cool and distinctive. The Clié Stylus is retractable and made out of Metal, not cheap plastic. The navigation buttons are very simple and the Clíe Application Launcher (Sony's Display Format, similar to Windows CE) is quite simple to use and very original too.

It comes with the Documents To Go from Dataviz Application (You have to register your Clié to Download it first, but it's a simple process), which allows you to edit Word and Excel Documents, as well as viewing Powerpoint applications. The Camera is very good, I previosly owned a Palm Zire 71 and I have to say resolution is better with the Clié. The only downside is the lack of a Flash. Under low light conditions you get zero, nada... The MP3 player application is OK, although I prefer the Real Player application that comes with Palm Products than the AeroPlayer App that comes with your Clié. Overall it has improved Memo Pad (Clié Memo is something like a pocket paint), Adress (you can include pictures), and its comes with other handy apps like Contacts Pro, Agendus and the usual Date Book and To Do List which remain virtually unchanged. The Picsel Viewer technology is very nice, but you need a memory stick in order to use it (it allos you to see Word documents, PDF Documents, JPEG Images, Excel Worksheets and many other formats). Kinoma Player Version 2 is OK, I don't see too many changes from the first version. The Audible Player allows you to download audio like interviews, news, etc. The Presenter-To-Go application is a very neat idea, but its basically a tease for you to buy the Module which allows you to present Powerpoint Presentations directly from your Clié to a Data Show Screen Projector using a special Cable/ Software.

Internet and Mail apps are great, specially when using the IEEE 802.11b port which is similar to the Centrino Chip used by Intel. It allows you to connect wireless to the Internet so you can check mail, do some surfing, etc. Very handy, but it only works where public access points are available and they come with a charge, depending on the provider. Biggest problem is that it sucks battery life dry in just a couple of hours.

The only major complaint I have with this product, for which I didn't award it five stars, is that like all Sony Products, they force you to buy additional hardware like a Memory Stick if you want to listen to MP3, or if youn want to transfer pictures from your Clié to your Laptop or Desktop. I recommend you go for the Memory Stick Pro expansion card (256 will do, 512 is optimum). Finally, it does not come with a docking station / cradle, but just a simple USB connector that looks rather cheap. You have to buy the Docking Station separately.(standard with all Palms).

Overall its a very good product, just remember to buy a Memory Stick, Docking Station/ Cradle, and remember always to bring your Power Source with you cause Life Battery isn't exactly great. One last thing, try buying a solid Carrying Case if you want to avoid scratching your new toy...

I purchased the Sony Clie PEG -TJ37 because it had the features I was looking for at a reasonable price. I did't want to learn a new operating system. The unit worked perfect for the first six months. I did experince some problems with the built-in software but was able to upload patches to fix the wireless connectivity problems. The camera was excellent. Being able to take digital pictures and then send them via the internet wirelessly was such a comfort. I never used the mp3 player. All other funtions as for as hot sync's of software was a snap. The problems I had were due tothe flimsy cover to protect the screen. It lost one of the rubber hinges and didn't offer much protection. I purchased the 2 year extended warranty from Sony. That also was a big mistake. My unit would not cut off and the screen was cracked due to an accidental drop. The warranty was to have covered this, but I found out later that it didn't cover the cracked screen. I am very hesitant about buying another PDA from Sony for this reason. I will never pay for an extended warranty again. I have been asked to pay 147.00 to repair the unit even after purchasing the extended coverage which i refuse to pay. Hopefully I can find another unit and if I do pay for any insurance I wll make sure that what is told me by the salesman is also written and underlined in the contract before buying.

OmniPen Pro

OmniPen Pro
  • Combines 4 functions into 1 sleek, matte-finished, executive pen design
  • Integrated black ballpoint pen, red laser pointer, LED reading light, and PDA stylus
  • Durable construction
  • Perfect for presentations
  • Provides you with additional conveniences that are essential for the real world

I just got mine yesterday. Feels very nice in the hand when writing and using it as a stylus. The stylus tip glides over my PDA screen very nicely. There seems to be some extra weight in the middle of the pen, changing the center of balance more towards the middle. The laser is bright in low light areas, and the flashlight will adequately light up about 2-5 yards.

My only complaints are that the buttons for using the laser pointer and LED flashlight rattle around a bit in the pen, and that there's no way to prevent the buttons from being pushed while the pen is riding around in my pocket.

Update:

I've had this pen for about a month, and the tip broke off. The glue holding the tip to the collar gave way, right in the middle of a meeting. I would revise this review to 2 stars, but I can't change the rating.

Buy OmniPen Pro Now

I ordered Boxwave's Ominpen pro because i needed a stylus for my G1. Even though the website listed it with other G1 accessories, It did not work with the G1. The G1, as well as the iPod touch, iPhone, and Blackberry Storm use capacitive touchscreens. Capacitive touchscreens register the electrons in your fingernails, which is why they dont work with styluses and other things besides your fingerpads. The Nintendo Ds series, LG Dare, Samsung Instinct, and HTC Touch Diamond use Resistive touchscreens. Resistive screens are comprised of several layers. The top layer, usually a clear polyester film, is flexible. When a finger presses down, the top layer comes in contact with a lower glass layer. The voltage is measured and the location of the press is computed. That is why stluses work with these types of phones.

If your buying the Omnipen pro, make sure you look up which type of touchscreen your device uses.

I rated this product three stars because although the stylus didn't work, it is still an excelent pen and the Flashlight and Lazerpointer are pretty cool. They're great for presentations!

Read Best Reviews of OmniPen Pro Here

I bought this pen from BoxWave, which they show as compatible with my table PC. As soon as I received the pen, I realized that not only was the pen NOT compatible with my laptop, it is also pretty poorly made.

Also, trying to get BoxWave to respond to any inquiries is near impossible...as they don't list a phone number. They only communicate by email.

The only reason I give it one star is because the laser light and pen light are nice and fun to use. The actual ink pen writes pretty nicely, as well.

Handheld 2.4GHz Wireless Trackball Optical Mouse Laptop

Handheld 2.4GHz Wireless Trackball Optical Mouse LaptopI do a lot of travelling so I was looking for something small. I hate using the laptop pad and none of my mouses were small enough to use, such as at the airports or coffee shops. I came across this product and figure I'd give it a try. After the first time using it I was hooked. After it is charged it no longer needs the USB cable so you can relax, kick back and hold it anyway you want. I've been noticed by others using the product and have been asked about it. I'll surf the web while kicked back with a drink. The only way you'd know what I was doing would be from my right hand. It isn't as large as it looks in the picture which I prefer. I made the mistake of using it while I was home and when I was done my fiancé borrowed it. She could check up on her email or facebook while walking by or from the bed without having to go to her desk. Well to make a long story short, now I have to order a second one, which is why I decided to take a minute and write a review. Great product which I'm sure I will start seeing more of at airports and coffee shops in the future.

Update 01/09/2012 Opted to return this item for maintenance since after three months, the seller will not replace the item but provides a RMA number so the item can be returned for maintenance. I had to pay $4.93 to ship the item back to the seller. Now I have $34.90 invested in this product.

When I first received this product back in September 2012, I loved it. It was exactly what I was looking for so I gave it a high rating. It's small, fits nicely in your hand and all the controls are at your fingertips. After the second month of use, the on/off switch on the bottom of the track mouse receded inside the unit. I can still turn it off and on but have to use the point of the blade of my pocket knife and be very gentle toggling the switch to avoid pressing it inside the unit. If you let the battery run completely down, you have to shut the mouse off or it won't charge. In November I noticed something rattling around inside the mouse like something had broken inside. I was still able to use the mouse up until the end of December. Turns out a screw had come lose inside the mouse and finally fell out. After the screw fell out, the mouse caused the cursor to appear spastic on the screen. The cursor on the screen looked like it was having a seizure and the only way to make it stop is to tap the mouse on a something, shake the mouse or just turn it off. So after about four months of use, the mouse is useless. I sent an email to the email address on the instruction paper that came with the mouse but keep getting delivery failures. If you read the small instruction sheet that comes with the mouse it looks like a five year old wrote it. For all I know, they misspelled the email address.

If my previous review influenced anyone to purchase this product, I apologize! I hope you have better luck than I did. Though this track mouse is a great idea for laptop users, it's poorly made. I would NOT recommend purchasing this product!

Buy Handheld 2.4GHz Wireless Trackball Optical Mouse Laptop Now

I also thought the item would be bigger and was happy that it wasn't since I plan on using this for my laptop. This item works well and fits right in your hand. I have had multiple wireless trackball devices and this is at the top as far as price and comfort. It can by used on your desk using the laser or by the ball. Not sure about the battery life since I have only had it for a short time. It does need to be charged, but I didn't buy it for long term anyway. If it last after six months then I could definitely say I got my moneys worth.

UPDATE-Had item for over a year now and is STILL working great. The only issue is I wish the on/off button was easier to access because it is tight to get to. Still happy I got it.

This new track ball is so easy to install and use! Especially if you are disabled and can only use one hand.

Want Handheld 2.4GHz Wireless Trackball Optical Mouse Laptop Discount?

This item works but it is very small and is not comfortable to use (my hand size is normal). Also, the quality seems below par and the trackball moves loosely. When you hold it in your hands it feels like you might break it. It is not accurate either.

It is cheap and that is what you get for your money...for occasional use only....

Casio Cassiopeia PV-S400Plus Pocket Viewer

Casio Cassiopeia PV-S400Plus Pocket Viewer
  • 4 gb PDA with scheduler, contacts, memos, and calculator and internet
  • Copy, view, and edit Microsoft Excel documents
  • 160 x 160 LCD display with backlight
  • Works for 180 hours on 2 AAA batteries
  • What's in the box: Cassiopeia PV-S400Plus, PC Synchronization Cradle, Hard Cover, Stylus, User manual

I always tell people that if this ever falls out of my pocket, I'd have to call my wife for directions to get home. This little thing keeps me organized! All of my appointments are in here, and if they aren't then I'm in trouble. It is easy to use, and holds up to 10,000 items (4 mgs of memory). The unit is backlit, and the indiglo light will stay on for up to 30 seconds. I thought that it would take some getting used to become comfortable using the stylus to peck and poke away at the letters and numbers, but it was easy to learn, and you can actually use your fingers if you have to.

The PV400 Plus also has a memo pad, an address list, a calendar for the next 200 years (should one live that long), and a couple of solitaire card games. But for those who are looking for more perks such as email, mp3 download capability, and a color screen, you won't find it here. You'll have to get a Palm Pilot or a Sony. But if all you need is an easy way to organize your life, this unit will suffice.

The only negative thing I would point out about the PV400 Plus is that it seems easy for dirt or dust to get underneath the LCD display. There is one prominent piece of dust right in the middle of mine, and I always feel tempted to want to wipe it off and I have to remind myself that I can't because it is embedded inside the glass. You'll want to keep your PV400 plus under its plastic cover whenever you are not using it.

If you are like me, and basically just need to be better organized without having all the fancy "web-surfing, camera connecting, etc" capabilities of the more expensive organizers out there, then the Casio PV-S400 Plus is a sure thing for you!

This little sleek & stylish organizer comes with most everything you will need! And if you feel like you need to add in a few things to expand, then you can easily do so by downloading free software available on the internet and uploading it to your unit! It's as easy as that! It comes with a nice, very bright backlight to access information in total darkness, and the overall ease of use is quite good. The PC-Sync software is adequate and makes it easy to transfer information from your PC to the unit. The only draw back is that it's 4MB of memory are not expandable. If you are a first time buyer looking for an inexpensive pocket organizer, I recommend this one. It's a great buy!!

I've recently upgraded to the PVS400 Plus from earlier inexpensive PDA's and I'm thrilled with it! It's not as heavy as Palms, looks just as sleek and is the best PDA ever...

It includes all the basic functions... multiple contact lists (personal, business, etc.), great calendar functions (one time events up through yearly birthdays all with optional alarm functions, which activate even when PDA is off!), memo areas (one where I keep passwords, medical info, emergency info and the other which is free-hand to take down quick notes, phone numbers, etc.) expense area (not used can't comment), games (2), calculators, and a super large screen which avoids need to "wrap around" and scroll down to read... all of which can be password protected!

I purchased mine for $50, including cradle and set-up disc. For those who have Outlook Express (OE) which you can't sync with, (unlike the real "upgraded" Outlook), it's great that Casio has it's own operating system (OS). I couldn't tell you how many PDA's (4 at last count!) I purchased, and returned, because I couldn't sync w/OE and/or OS's weren't included.

This is a great gift... update family info on PC program and download into various PDA's and voila! Great for students of any age, kids finally moving out... they'll all have current contact info, birthdays, medical info, etc. at their fingertips, and with individual docking cradles, they can update as needed.

I could go on and on... I even talked my Dad into buying one and he loves it!

If you're not looking for email, camera functions, etc., this is the PDA for you! For $50 you can't go wrong... trust me!

This is a basic organizer. You can't call Aunt Sally, take pictures of your "oh-so-cute" baby, surf the internet, open your garage door or a can of dog food with this unit. If that's what you expect, look elsewhere. I wanted a simple, small organizer that would let me keep a list of contacts, schedule, memos, and some other basics. I wanted the Xircom Rex, but it's not made anymore, and I wasn't about to pay exorbiant prices for a discontinued unit. So, I arrived here. Not bad. It's a bit larger than I would have liked, the screen cover is a little flimsy, but once again, for the price, it's exactly what I wanted and not anything more.

Overall, I find the PV-S400Plus to be a very solid product. I tend to be fairly rough on electronics and other delicate products, and haven't managed to break this after 2 months of hard use. I only find one or two real problems with it.

One is the lack of built in handwriting recognition. Even the 2MB models from Palm have this feature. However, there are software programs (PVMerlin) that are available for download and install that will do this for you.

Which brings up the other problem. Adding software to this Pocket Viewer is, so far, a task I wouldn't put on anyone but a very computer literate person. Any software I have had to add to my PV I have had to practically re-write so that it could be installed without any problems. Using SDKs (Software Development Kits) is generally confusing, so I don't recommend using them to anyone who doesn't know computers well.

However, I am sure that as this model becomes more popular, more programs will be written for it by original programmers, which will make things easier on us all.

The switching and continuity is excellent. Would not work with new HP USB mouse ... pointer would move eratically across screen, but works fine with Compaq USB mouse. The video output is sub-standard ... dim and grayish. Tried with several different Samsung HDTV monitors ... have to turn brightness and sharpness settings to the max to make it workable, but still sub-standard.

I used this in conjunction with a 1U Tripp Lite Monitor/Keyboard Drawer which was less expensive than the higher end model with built in KVM. The pair works great.

What i really liked about this KVM was that I have machines hooked into it that use every and all combinations of PS2, USB, DVI, and VGA...all work great. KVM also allows for keyboard commands to change CPU's so you don't have to worry about having the KVM's buttons easily accessible.

BoxWave Trignetic Capacitive Stylus for the LG Rumor Reflex - Magnetic Stylus - Triangular Design Ba

BoxWave Trignetic Capacitive Stylus for the LG Rumor Reflex - Magnetic Stylus - Triangular Design Barrel with Rubber Thumb Pad for Added Grip and Comfort
  • Capacitive Stylus tips works for all capacitive touch screen devices
  • Provides greater accuracy and less fingerprints
  • Triangular design for easy grip
  • Rubber thumb pad
  • Magnetic to stick on metal objects for storage

I purchased this cover for use with my Blackberry Pearl phone. I always keep a cover on it because I drop it on the ground about two times a week. This cover does a good job of protecting the phone from breaking when it hits the cement.

My phone is black, so the translucent pink tone gives it a unique look. The only down side is that it does slip around in my car as I drive around. The rubber-like cases stick better to your car's console but they are hard to throw in your pocket or purse because of their inability to slide in easily. That's the trade-off.

This cover also fits well and is easy to snap on into place.

I bought 3 Visio tablets with 3 of these cases, in all 3 instances the Visio tablet works perfectly...once this case is on it, all the tablet says is.."loading"... And does not work. Take the case off, it works again. Not sure why it's making the tablet not work, it fits fine, and looks very nice which is why 2 stars, but it's of no use, because the tablet just won't work with this on it. I do not recommend buying.

HITACHI MD2GBA 2GB MicroDrive 3K4 with Travel Kit

HITACHI MD2GBA 2GB MicroDrive 3K4 with Travel Kit
  • 2GB removable storage in a one-inch hard drive weighing just over half an ounce!
  • Industry standard CF+ Type II format -- compatible with PC Card Type II using included adapter
  • Incorporates leading edge HITACHI technologies for maximum capacity, performance and reliability
  • Rubber bumpers for shock absorption
  • Maximum sustained data rate of over 7MB/sec

Picked the MicroDrive up months of debating, and I'm thrilled with how well it works in my Canon PowerShot G5. The 2gigs will hold over 780 5 megapixel super-high res pictures or 550 raw-mode pictures. Enough to go an a two week vacation and take as many pictures as I want without lugging a laptop.

With my old compact flash card writing the camera buffer out after a burst mode of 5 pictures took 40 seconds, with the MicroDrive it takes 20 seconds. The MicroDrive is much faster than any CF card I've used before.

I'd recommend this if you have a high end camera like my PowerShot G5 and need to take a massive amount of pictures without swapping cards or being near a computer.

Buy HITACHI MD2GBA 2GB MicroDrive 3K4 with Travel Kit Now

The Hitachi 2gb Drive works great in my Olympus 8080z. The performance is equal or better than the SanDisk Flash that I replaced. I can take over 500 highest resolution pictures on the 2gb MicroDrive.

The MicorDrive was recognized immediately when I plugged it in my computer. The download speeds were fast.

I have not thoroughly tested for power consumption. Todate I have taken a hundred plus pictures with a mix a flash on the original charge of the camera battery. So far the power consumption does not seem to be much different then the flash memory.

It is less expensive to purchase the Hitachi 2gb drive vs a 2gb flash memory card.

I highly recommend purchasing the Hitachi Microdrive.

I bought the 2GB microdrive for my Canon 20D. Many people advised me not to do so. They told me that they are unreliable because of the moving parts [that spin]. They also told me that the microdrive will really suck up your battery. I can happily report that I have not encountered any problems with the microdrive and there are no disappointments here. Why spend more money for a Lexar CF when this product is just as good and sells for a heck of a lot less?

The capacity of this card is huge and it should be a neccessity to all 20D users.

UPDATE: I've been using this card now since January '05 and still no problems!!! I'm glad I bought this microdrive instead of a plain old CF card... the microdrives are significantly cheaper and so reliable. You can't go wrong with this!

The case gives excellent protection to my printer and notebook, it also has good storage space that I use for paper, wireless mouse, 10-key pad, CD's . . .

My only complaint is with the handles, within a week one of them torn loose from the case, I don't feel comfortable using the shoulder strap, but it works just fine.

Overall the case is a good product, I do feel that HP thinks it's more valuable than I do after having it for a while. List price of $89.99 is more than I think it's worth. At that price, I wouldn't buy it again.

Read Best Reviews of HP Mobile Carrying case (Notebook / printer carrying case) - 15.5" Here

Since HP produced the mobile printer, we've needed an answer for transporting the printer along with our laptop. This is their answer and they're the only ones I know of addressing this issue. If you're going to get a mobile printer, you're going to need this bag to transport all your mobile gear together. The center compartment holds the printer and all the adapters for printer and computer and you might as well throw the phone charger in there, and the outer compartment on one side protects your mobile computer while on the other side you will find the pockets for digital media, pens, accessories and files.

I do wish they'd put some wheels and a telescoping handle on this bag though. With an entire office packed in there, if you're going through an airport, this can begin to weigh on you. It does have the sleeve for sliding over the handle of another wheeled bag so you do have some method of putting all that gear on wheels. Most airlines only allow one carry on bag, so if this is going to be your carry on, there go your wheels.

I'll take it rather than leave it.

This bag has made life alot easier to carry everything in one bag. Since it is in one bag I don't have to look around for different cords and what not. Laptop and mobile printer in one! It's Great!!

Tripp Lite B006-VUA4-K-R 4-Port KVM Switch with Audio, OSD and Peripheral Sharing

Tripp Lite B006-VUA4-K-R 4-Port KVM Switch with Audio, OSD and Peripheral Sharing
  • Control up to 4 computers from a single monitor, keyboard and mouse
  • Package includes (x2) 4 ft. and (x2) 6 ft. USB + Audio KVM cable kits (for longer length cables, choose Tripp Lite's P756-010 or P757-010)
  • Built-in 2-Port USB 2.0 hub allows USB peripherals to be shared amongst computers connected via USB KVM cable kits
  • Constructed of heavy-duty steel housing
  • Compatible with all major operating systems
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty
  • Control up to 4 USB or PS/2 computers from a single monitor, keyboard and mouse
  • Includes a built-in 2-Port USB 2.0 hub for sharing of devices amongst computers connected with a USB KVM cable kit
  • Package includes 4 USB + Audio KVM cable kits

Features, lots. All kinds of configuration options. Seems to do everything reliably. Has rack mount ears you can attach and that makes it easy to screw it underneath a shelf so it isn't just flapping around. Comes with 4 cables but the longest is 6 feet and that's not as long as it sounds. I had to rearrange a couple CPUs to make it fit.

The bad thing. Video resolution and contrast is NOTICEABLY worse with the KVM installed and a lot worse than the Trendnet 2-port I'm replacing. Have not decided whether I want to return it yet. Too expensive to have that kind of problem with only 4 feet of cable.
