M-Edge Kindle FlexStand, White (Fits Kindle Keyboard)

M-Edge Kindle FlexStand, WhiteExactly what I hoped for. This stand makes it a pleasure to read while freeing up your hands.

It's super easy to "install" and use just pop the four rubberized, padded corners around each corner of the Kindle, then bend the two protruding back legs into whatever angle you need, and voila, the Kindle is standing on its own. The legs are sturdy, easy to bend, and they stay exactly as you position them. Each leg has a rubber ball at its tip which helps grip the surface you set the stand on. The stand can be used with the Kindle standing vertically or on its side. I've found it pretty stable, even on an uneven surface like a couch or my leg. Its range of adjustment has been more than adequate for my couch/laptop/table/bed reading needs. In the vertical orientation, it will adjust from nearly 90 degrees (Kindle almost completely vertical) back to around 45 degrees.

It seems designed to work with a naked Kindle, and I'm not sure it would be compatible with a cover. My Kindle has just a skin and the stand fits well. It's so unobtrusive I just carry the Kindle around with the stand still attached. You can charge the Kindle in the stand. The stand is lightweight, easy to pick up, and seems to hold the Kindle securely, though I wouldn't be swinging it around or anything. Great product!

I received this today, and have already used it. I'm so happy that I didn't try to buy a cover/stand combination, since I think it would have been a compromise solution. This is terrific. Since it's difficult to figure out from the photos: It's like a very flexible metal piping with rubber feet which can be twisted any way you want to for adjustments. It reminds me of a GUMBY! The flexibility makes it really easy to install and deinstall the corners so that your Kindle can be put back into a case.

I often read with meals, and this is a hands free solution (not to mention much easier on my neck! I can sit with my head up, instead of bent down to the Kindle).

(5/1/11) Just a quick update:

I continue to use the stand often, and have found it useful while reading in bed. It props the Kindle up, so you can be more comfortable, and not have to hold it in one place while you read.

Enjoy!

I bought one for my K2 in February 2010. I loved it. The arms allowed me to form a holder for my K2 to place securely on my treadmill and recumbent bike. Reading while exercising makes the time fly by. All you do is turn on the TTS, turn the sound off, change the layout to landscape and enjoy your book. The TTS will automatically turn the pages for you. This cuts down the chances of knocking your Kindle over. Of course you can't do this wiith books that have the TTS disabled but just plan ahead.

It came in the mail today and I can't wait to work out tomorrow! It also works great for just hands free reading. If you like to knit, crochet, or other crafts, now you can read while you do this too. I highly recommend this to all K3 owners.

LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!! Everyone should get one. It allows the Kindle user to read "hands free." This device is flexible and folds up to easily fit in a purse, backpack, kindle case, or pocket. It can go with wherever the Kindle goes. I absolutely love this! Great for cooking from recipes in the kitchen. Use at desk to study. Use to read and have a child or pet in one's lap. Extremely versatile. Can't say enough good things about this product. A miracle for the Kindle user.

  • Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor - 2.4 GHz (6 MB Cache)
  • 12 GB DDR3 RAM
  • 1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive, 128 GB Solid-State Drive
  • 17.3-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M
  • Windows 8, 3.5-hour battery life

So far this has been all most everything I have wanted in a Laptop. The only down side that it does not have a Blu-ray player and came with Windows 8.(hence the four stars) These will not an issue for long. I have played Sky Rim, Fall Out3, Sims, ect and have yet had an issue. Great for watching movies too. I did wipe the HD and install Win7 no issues. One of the best laptop I have purchased.

Pros:

-Good Specs.

***Running Windows 7, the lowest score on windows experience index is 4.8 on Graphics (out of 7.9). Gaming Graphics hits a 6.3, and everything else clocks in at 7.6-7.9. So very good overall.

-Very large screen.

-Good audio quality.

-Weighs on the lighter end for its dimensions (still less mobile compared to smaller models of course though).

-Sports an SSD, so lightning fast bootup.

-Dual drive bay setup

Cons:

-Windows 8

-Removing Win8 can be a potential headache (for various reasons)

-Price point is high

-SSD is only 120gb

-Equivalent model without additional preinstalled drive can be had for cheaper, even after adding an SSD of upto 256gb if at current sale prices.

UB KOOL, Handheld Personal Mini Cooler & WarmerOk, Im a hot box most of the time... and I live in Las Vegas, however, it DOES SNOW here people! It gets really cold sometimes, most people don't realize... so this will come in handy when I walk in the morning to warm up my hands.... but in the summer here.. its REALLY gonna do the job with 112 degree weather. I tested the hot and cold on this and it preforms as described. Im happy with the unit in all, but I would have liked to see not such cheap plastic surrounding the elements. I would have given it 5 stars.... but I'm gonna see how it stands up in the next few months. :)

MC3730 Magenta Toner Hi Cap

MC3730 Magenta Toner Hi Cap
  • Item is New in Box

On the day after installation, the configuration report on my Magicolor 3730DN said that the new Magenta Hi Cap cartridge only had 94% capacity. This was before I printed anything. By day three, the Magenta Hi Cap cartridge was down to 83% capacity and I had only printed one spot color item.

Amazon would not let me return this item. They told me to contact Konica Minolta. This is one the few times when I could not return a defective item to Amazon.com.

A 2nd level CSR at Konica Minolta investigated my problem. I'm very satisfied with the way the 2nd level CSR handled my situation. I'm very satisfied with his solution.

Sony CLIE PEGA-KB100 Compact Keyboard

Sony CLIE PEGA-KB100 Compact Keyboard
  • Foldable, full-size keyboard for portability
  • Built-in DC input jack to supply power and/or charge CLIÉ Handheld
  • Touch-typeable keys and QWERTY layout for faster and easier typing
  • Sturdy built-in docking station
  • Compatible with PEG-NX series, NR series, T series, SJ series, and SL10

As a user of the KB-11 keyboard I looked forward to using the KB-100. I was very pleased with the contruction and the size but less so with the decreased functionality. Where I could use keyboard commands almost exclusively on the KB-11 I now have to use the stylus for "OK", "Done", "Cancel", and almost every other command. I am sure that Sony will eventually offer an updated driver that will permit combination keys to activate these commends but in the meantime I am forced to keep a stylus in hand.

The other negative factor is the location of the shift key but we humans will adapt to that.

Buy Sony CLIE PEGA-KB100 Compact Keyboard Now

The clie keyboard with my nx60 (or my nx70 and my sj22) really rounds out the product. The keyboard is of excellent quality and feel. With the keyboard I truly have a top notch laptop replacement. Clies are great but such accessories put them over the top!!

Read Best Reviews of Sony CLIE PEGA-KB100 Compact Keyboard Here

Previously, I used the Palm portable keyboard for the Palm III and V handhelds. I really liked the feel of those keyboards, but I moved on when I outgrew my older PDA. I travel a lot, and I avoid carrying a laptop whenever possible; so, a portable PDA keyboard is essential for my journeys. After upgrading to a Sony Clie TG-50 handheld, I bought the KB-100 keyboard to compliment it. So, you ask, how did the two keyboards stack up? Well, I have to give the nod to the Palm keyboard for keyboard size. The Palm's size is equivalent to a laptop keyboard, while the Sony's, in spite of being advertised as "full size," is in fact a bit smaller. I suspect for most folks that wouldn't be a major concern, but I have large hands, and I've found that my typing speed has slowed somewhat as compared to the Palm unit. In terms of deploying the keyboard, the Sony wins hands down--it's simpler and faster, with fewer moving parts. Another plus is that the Sony keyboard will also charge your handheld while docked. One more minus: the shift key on the right side of the Sony is quite small, and slowed down my typing speed until I grew used to it. To sum up, the Sony is a well-designed portable keyboard that makes some compromises in keyboard layout, but is nonetheless quite a useful product. My recommendation is that if you have big hands and plan to write the great American novel on your PDA, you'll likely be happier with a Palm PDA/keyboard setup. If, however, you mainly plan to work on shorter documents, the Sony should get the nod.

Want Sony CLIE PEGA-KB100 Compact Keyboard Discount?

The keyboard works with my Clié as I expected. The system is not state of the art, but remains eminently useful on the road.

This keyboard is a joy to type, to look, to work with and to carry in its soft dedicated pouch. Every single piece that comprises it, screams about the great quality with which it was made. Takes you back to a time when Sony used to design and produce desirable products, not unlike those Apple makes these days.

Functionally speaking, this keyboard doubles as charging station (not able to hotsync, thou) and a stand for your Clié. Getting said device seated onto the keyboard is a bit tricky but once it is there, everything works pretty smoothly. The Clie turns on automatically and you can choose whether to charge or not the device simultaneously.

I've been typing a lot on it lately, and it is quite comfortable to work with provided its resting on a hard surface. If you put this onto your lap or on an unstable surface, the keyboard tends to ply itself since there's no locking mechanism. Other than that, it is pretty nice to work for long periods of time.

Palm devices and, more specifically Cliés, are a thing of the past nowadays. Many of them are already dead and will probably never see the light of day again. Others just might be on their last legs regarding battery life. But if you've got one of these great devices laying around, and would like to give them a second life, I strongly suggest you to buy accessories like this one in order to use them as media players, dedicated gaming devices, or as note taking devices for the kitchen -hence the use for the keyboard. You can find this accesories for next to nothing here on Amazon. They look good, work great and perform many of the tasks a current smartphone those, and then some more.

Hey, who knows, maybe one of these days they'll become collectible items!

Marware Sidewinder for iPhone 1G

Marware Sidewinder for iPhone 1G
  • Sidewinding retractable cord management system (patent pending).
  • Smooth, sleek, and durable rubberized holster with unique reversible mounting design - allows iPhone
  • Patented Multidapt 360 rotating clip (interchangeable) and also serves as a tabletop stand for video
  • Quick and easy accessibility to all iPhone features (Screen display, Dock connector, Headphone port,
  • Maximum versatility and value in a single product.

I bought the Sidewinder with my iPhone. It's convenient and protects at least one side of the iPhone. The cord management system is a nice plus. On the other hand, you have to realize that the back side of the phone will pick up scratches and dirt as it's facing outward all of the time.

After exactly a month, the point of attachment to the clip broke when I was taking it off of my belt. There's a thin, hollow ring of plastic at the attachment point that fatigued. I feel like I was lucky that it broke when I was holding the phone and I didn't end up with it on the floor of a taxi or a train, unnoticed.

With it failing so soon, I'd avoid it.

Buy Marware Sidewinder for iPhone 1G Now

The holster does not snugly fit the iPhone. There is a small gap between the top of the IPhone and the holster lip, which made me uneasy about its security. However, I didn't have to worry about that because the holster broke off from its clip in less than one month with fairly light use by me. I recommend the Seidio iPhone holster instead. It's $5 more, but much better designed and made.

Seemed cheap and it is. While I liked the look and feel and the "stand" it did not feel secure in holding the phone. The belt clip broke 2 weeks in and I threw it away.

The Sidewinder is an amazing concept that only the engineering genius of Marware could pull off. I can't understand the negative reviews, this is just what I wanted easy access to my organized headphones and belt clip. Other iPhone cases miss the point and simplicity of this one.

In conjunction with a durable screen protector (not really the one that is supplied), it is a great case for your iphone. The above description of the case is not totally accurate you have to remove the case to connect the iphone to the dock. It is a very handy case. You can carry your headphones wrapped around the retractable cord management system.

The rotational clip with the easy snap off (to answer phone) is stellar.

Best of all, the beauty of the iphone is preserved!

I needed the additional memory to upgrade the firewall from 8.2(5) to 8.4(2).

I received the Memory 2 days after ordered. Ten minutes from the delivery truck, the memory was installed and I was up and running.

I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 due to Cisco Memory being over priced. Well known but still disappointing.

BoxWave Skinny Capacitive Stylus for HTC EVO Shift 4G - HTC EVO Shift 4G Touch Screen Stylus w/ Long

BoxWave Skinny Capacitive Stylus for HTC EVO Shift 4G - HTC EVO Shift 4G Touch Screen Stylus w/ Longer Barrel and Fine Tip Point
  • Works on all capacitive touch screens
  • Helps avoid fingerprints and smudges

  • Pocket clip for easy transportation and storage

The charger and sync combo works as listed on the website. The original manufacturer no longer offers the accessories (which I lost during a move), so the bundle enabled me to again use the Jukebox mp3 player.

I especially like the capability for quickly charging the player with the "2X" connection.

My player had no charge at all. Using the "2X" allowed me to listen to music again in an hour or so.

DSLR Rig Shoulder Mount for DV Cameras & All DSLR Cameras, Canon 5D MK II , 7D , 60D ,600D (T3i) Nik

DSLR Rig Shoulder Mount for DV Cameras & All DSLR Cameras, Canon 5D MK II , 7D , 60D ,600D Nikon D90 D7000 D5100 D3100 D300s Sony DSR-PD198p Panasonic AG-HMC153MC
  • 1xDSLR Rig
  • 1xHex screwdriver
  • All hand grips and joint are rotatable and adjustable
  • Real compact shoulder mount for cameramen ,shooting
  • You can mount 7" or 11" arm onto it and then mount lighting or Monitor to use with your DV and DSLR camera.

I bought this rig for about $150 off eBay a few months ago. I already had a rig (Gini/Magic Spider), but I liked the fact that this rig looked very versatile, and that it could pack up to fit into a small backpack. Unless you're shooting something pretty seriously, it feels kind of silly to walk around in public with a full-sized shoulder rig -for one thing, they look like rocket launchers. I can configure this into a simple handheld unit which is fairly inconspicuous but also offers much-improved stability (especially for dslrs.) If I want more stability, I can change it up into a full shoulder rig.

The build quality is quite good, and it's a very functional little gadget. It's a good balance of portability, functionality, and price.

Original Brand New Loftek 3-in-1 Mini Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for Apple Ipad Nokia Symbian S60 P

Original Brand New Loftek 3-in-1 Mini Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for Apple Ipad Nokia Symbian S60 Phones Windows Mobile 5.0 Sony Ps3 Players Keyboard, Touchpad(touchpad does not work with iPad or mobile phone)I had a little difficulty getting this keyboard connected to my Casio Commando, but this was solved with an app (blueinput). Then I had to figure out (with the help of a youtube video) that you had to choose the input type by long pressing on the first input box and selecting the dot for macro keyboard. Once I got past this learning curve, I have been extremely happy with this keyboard and my android phone. Be aware, if you are going to use this with an android phone, you will need to spend an additional $15 to get the paid version of the app which will make it work. Rii states that the .apk that comes with the keyboard only works with android versions up to 1.5. I couldn't find a free app that worked.

The candybar keyboard is quite handy, well made and responsive.

I have used in Ubuntu, Win7 and on my Asus transformer. I made a good purchase.

I recommend this keyboard for your Asus Transformeror any tablet for that matter.

It also has a laser pointer and keyboard lights up. It also has a Bluetooth usb dongle wich pops out from the keyboard if you need to use. Good stuff!

I have had this product for a few months now. I really like it but the Bluetooth connection is terrible! You can expect >10 Feet Line-of-Sight (and I mean no obstacles at all!). In fact it will not work at any distance if there is an obstacle in the way, which is very disappointing. Also a few of the keys have to be pressed really hard to get them to work, and I wouldn't use this for doing any typing whatsoever; it is best for web browsing/multimedia etc. Other than those two things I love it, great features. Also it comes with a little Bluetooth dongle that stashes inside it. My cats LOVE the Laser too. If the connection problems are not an issue for you than I would highly recommend it. Oh and the instructions/packaging have very entertaining broken English, "The teacher must have the best weapon" haha!

MoKo Dual-View Multi-Angle GENUINE Leather Folio Case Cover for Asus Eee Pad Transformer PRIME 10.1-Inch TF201 Tablet, BLACK

  • Magnetic Flap Closure. Access to All Ports and Controls.
  • Please search "MoKo TF201 case" for other styles and color options offered by BSCstore.

Tried to save few bucks and go with this Moko for $20 over some of the higher priced cases designed for the Asus Transformer Prime. It's a good quality case and for $20 it's a good buy.

I've had it now for a few weeks and it's breaking in quite nicely, I don't regret buying it.

The cutouts in the sleeve match up with the Prime. The jacket which wraps the sleeve has two cutouts, one for power and a hole for the camera.

The sleeve fits well and it's great for bedtime reading because the Prime alone is pretty slippery as you probably know. The jacket works well for reading at a desk/table. The jacket has three positions for inclining your Prime and each position is achieved by resting the bottom edge of the Prime against a red leather strip. It works well, doesn't slip and the 3 positions seem to cover what ever angle I need. I often type with the Prime in landscape propped up in the jacket and it works fine.

The sleeve has velcro strips on the back which match up to velcro on the jacket. It allows for portrait or landscape viewing. I tried the sleeve in the jacket in portrait mode for bedtime and it's a little too bulky so I just use the sleeve in bed I like the Prime in portrait mode for reading books.

The leather is good, about average. Not too light in that it protects well. The stitching looks neat. I've had this case for a month and it's wearing well. I find that I'm removing the sleeve from the jacket around two times a day so we'll see how the velcro holds up.

As far as mobility is concerned:

I have the keyboard but I'm finding that instead of removing the Prime from the sleeve and attaching it to the keyboard I leave the Prime in the case while putting the keyboard in a plastic bag inside my shoulder bag.

I was going to buy the rooCase but the Moko was less expensive and I haven't had my hands on a rooCase for comparison. This Moko does the job I can't envision anyone returning it for poor performance.

The case is really well made and fits the Asus T-Prime perfectly. I have received a number of compliments on how nice it looks since I received it. I definitely recommend this product and this seller.

Want MoKo Dual-View Multi-Angle GENUINE Leather Folio Case Cover for Asus Eee Pad Transformer PRIME 10.1- Discount?

Best case for the Prime.

The two best features:

1. Being able to charge it while in the case (it has that awesome slit on the side).

2. The ability to have it stand horizontally as well as vertically (best for playing "Draw Something" app...my girlfriend's new obsession)

No doubt the best case for the price...looks very slick as well.

Works as advertised, angles are useful and the quality is good for the price. Very happy with it so far.

Sony Clie PEG-NZ90 Handheld

Sony Clie PEG-NZ90 Handheld
  • Built-in 2 Mega-Pixel Camera with flash and 2X digital zoom
  • Built-in Bluetooth for wireless connectivity with peripherals
  • Video recording (MPEG-4) and playback (MPEG-1, MPEG-4)
  • Built-in MP3 audio player
  • What's in the box: Clie handheld, USB cradle, USB cable, USB cable, Stylus, AC Adapter, AC Cable, Stereo headphones, Remote controller, Hand strap, Installation CD-ROM

Well, let's start by the basics. This machine is HUGE by any means if you compare it to any other PDA. It's like, well, the Darth Vader of all the Palm Powered devices. It's black, it's menacing, it's all-powerful. You can stun an attacker with it if you whirl it over your head and hit him (it includes a convenient hand strap for that purpose).

Jokes aside, it is well built (i used to have a Clie NR70V and it was very fragile), the hinges and swivels are tight, it won't open inside your backpack and get all scratched inside.

It is also a nice PDA, with all the useful stuff that any common handheld has. (Memo, Agenda, Address, To Do, Whatever). But it excels on the add-ons. That's the best part.

The digital camera is awesome (autofocus/manual focus, flash, 2.0 MP) and it can store hundreds of pictures. There are many options and settings to play with.

It also has audio recorder software. The sound is crisp, clear, and you can record many, many, many hours of speech, enviromental audio or anything.

As any other Clie, it has its own mp3 player. There's no need to buy the special SONY smartmedia card to use it: a Lexmark alternative will do the trick.

Of course, if you combine audio + pictures, you'll get a video camera. It works as one. Not great quality, it might be compared with having a webcam with you all the time.

What else ? Integrated keyboard, speaker, remote control, a couple of headphones, infrared port.

I can even speak about Bluetooth. I don't have any bluetooth gear in my house, but i'm leaving the wake-up option enabled and see if i find any BT devices in my office. Besides the blinking blue led looks cool :).

It has many improvementes since the last Clie versions. The memory stick has changed its place, so it doesn't flip out every time you put it in your pocket. The craddle is now foldable and you can take it everywhere to charge and/or connect your clie. You can even attach it to the PDA and carry it around.

Even when it is bulky, it is very well built and with a nice eequilibrium... you can hold it in your hand and it won't fall easily. That happened with the NR70V: the screen was heavier than the body, so it fell backwards always.

The keyboard is a lot better and easier to use by now. Also the back button has been moved a little and it's easier to use than before.

The camera doesn't rotate anymore... but i didn't miss the feature, since you can still use it in the open or closed form, to take pictures of yourself or others.

I would complain only about few things:

The pen is thin ! It looks thinner compared to the huge agenda. And it has a very weird way to attach to the PDA.

The picture browsing is waaaay slow. I'll better find a better program to handle the pictures.

I can't recall anything else, but i'm sure that there were some things that bothered me. Ah ! The memory !!! Yes. That's upsetting: you see, there are 16 Mb of RAM but you can access only 11 of them. Why ? I don't know. However the better use of the memory stick features compensates the lack of actual memory. I would have expected at least 64 Mb RAM for a beast like this. Well, let's say it's 4 and a half stars. Oh, the price !!! Wait a little until it drops. But even now it's worth every cent. For a journalist is the perfect tool. And for a physician (who i am) too.

And, it might seem crazy, but i find this size more comfortable for me than before. I don't think of it as a PDA, instead i think of it as a pocket sized notebook.

Buy Sony Clie PEG-NZ90 Handheld Now

I finally made the plunge and bought the NZ90. After being a die-hard Palm user (starting from the Palm Professional,III,Vx,M505), I switched to the Sony Clie.

I truly enjoy playing with the NZ90. It has more functionality than the Palm M505. The camera and video features are amazing. The 2mb still camera produces decent quality pictures. One use I make with the camera is to take shots of documents from work. Now I can reveiw my work on my Clie without having to take home hard copies. The video function gives me the opportunity to film short clips on the fly of my baby boy. (I chose to defer purchase of a digital video camera and opted to use the video on the Clie.) The video quality is poor, but serves its purpose until my son begins to walk when I then plan on purchasing a digital camcorder. Also, I purchased the wireless card for the Clie. GREAT. I love this. You can check pop3 email and browse the internet without having to boot-up your laptop or computer. The easy power on/off of the pda makes it quick for me to check email as well as read the daily news.

2 negatives that needle me:

1) Batter life is poor, especially when using the still camera with flash. The flash drains the battery after 10 shots.

2) The size is a hurdle. Unlike the sleek m505 design, I have to carry the bulky NZ90.

I enjoy playing with my NZ90, emphasis on the "playing". As for practicality, I miss the m505 design as I daily use the address book, calendar, memo.

I just got this recently and I am very happy I made the decision to spend the cash. Yes the price tag is hefty but you get what you pay for. I read some reviews from handheld sites that said the weight and size were annoying. Now that it is in my hand, I can say that NEITHER are annoying. It weighs more than the typical palm and certainly is bigger, but as an engineer who is used to holding TI scientific calcs., it is nothing that disturbs me. It is roughly the same weight as my TI-86 and is about 25% shorter.

Pros:

The screen resolution is very crisp. As a matter of fact, the screen looks so good, you can decrease the brightness to 1/3 to improve battery life and it still looks fine. The sound that comes out of this little thing is quite clear as well. I love the fact that it can play music as well as play Flash and other movie files. You can also make voice recordings and they are pretty good. Also, the construction is superb...very solid and sturdy feel to it.

The camera is a huge benefit since I will never be anywhere without one. For a handheld camera, it serves its purpose and then some. No, it will never get better pictures than my Minolta Dimage 7i but then again, I would never carry the 7i around everywhere. The camera lens is protected by a flip cover. Very thoughtful so the lense doesn't get scratched.

The cradle design is extremely ingenious...no more bulky cradles. It is a foldup easel style cradle which is very transportable. Hot syncing is very easy between my PC and this unit.

I also love the fact there is a jog dial on the side that you can use to scroll between applications and select w/o having to use the stylus. This is useful for mass transportation users like myself.

Cons:

There are some design issues with this unit but nothing to go nuts about. The main thing is that there is a battery yo-yo effect when the flash is enabled in the camera. This is well documented in handheld website reviews and I assure you, this is a real issue as I am seeing it for myself. It seems that as soon as your flash is turned on, the battery remaining indicator takes a dip. Not a big deal when the battery is near full charge, but an issue when you get around say 50%. If the battery indicator dips too low, you cannot use the flash.

I can live with this b/c I am not planning on snapping countless shots on this unit BUT not everyone may be in that boat. I also fully expect SONY to address this issue (looks like it is a power management issue with the software) but if they don't, I will be very disappointed as it seems like it is a design flaw.

Another small con I have is the stylus location. I don't like the way it attaches to the side. I think that if I were clumsy, it would easily drop if I weren't careful when I tried to snap it back into the unit.

I want to amend my original review...I have stumbled upon one thing which is a little annoying but once again, something I can live with. You CANNOT play the recorded movie files to the TV. Yes, this is for real...I must say that SONY really didn't put much thought here as most digicams that can record movie clips allow you to show both still images and movie clips on TV.

All in all, I love this machine...very sleek and beautiful...very useful and at the same time fun as heck. I hope SONY addresses the battery yo-yo effect and maybe somehow upgrade a driver so I can show movie clips on the TV.

Pros: Fast processor; built-in keyboard, Bluetooth, and 2-megapixel camera with flash; large, sharp display; removable battery; precise battery meter.

Cons: Bulky; camera is slow to start up and shut down; no built-in Wi-Fi.

Summary: Sony's NZ90 is significant not because it's going to be the world's greatest handheld (though it might be) but because it raises the bar. A built-in 2 megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth, mpeg movie record and playback, MP3 playback, voice recorder--these obviously are way beyond the basic to-do list/address book/calendar. If you buy an MP3 player, a 2MP camera, a voice recorder, and a color PDA, you may very well spend [a lot of money]. Having it all in one is nice. Sony's not perfect; they need to kick the memory stick habit and support CF/SD cards, which are much cheaper and more versatile. As others point out, the onboard RAM seems a bit stingy, though PalmOS doesn't require as much as PPC. Anyway, I'm excited to see this happening and I hope a bunch of other companies copy Sony. Competition is good for everyone!

Purchased this in February 2009 for $6.99 + $5.58 shipping thus $12.57. Works good for about 2 years with normal use, similar to original manufacturer's battery for my HP iPAQ hw6515d. Then it starts rapidly deteriorating with battery completely depleting in less than a day and the "Backup battery" feature of the device become unavailable. So I've come to expect 2 years as normal useful life for the battery and I'm ready to buy a new battery in 2011. Unfortunately at this time the price has gone up to $19.04 + $2.98 shipping or $22.02 total... I may be looking for a cheaper alternative! After all, I only use this old iPAQ as GPS in the car with an old copy of tomtom Navigator. Telephones have progressed since 2006 when my iPAQ was a hot PDA.
