For quite some time now I've wanted an iPad, but considering that they cost 500+ dollars for the "Up to date" model, it's hard to find that kind of extra cash laying around in your budget:/... Anyway, I decided I would go shopping for a tablet PC that would be good enough to satisfy me until I have enough money saved up to get an iPad, and this tablet is just... "Truly Amazing!" I wanted it fast, so I requested the "One day shipping." and of course it came very quickly. I ordred it on Sunday the 19th, and it arrived Tuesday the 21st, it was $20 extra, but totally worth it. Anyway, it came packaged in a VERY nice box with ANDROID printed all over it. They even included a free screen protector! After I opened it up, it was fully charged and ready to go. And my first impression was that the tablet was absolutely stunning. It is fast, vibrant, up-to-date, and has surprisingly loud speakers! I cannot believe this device only cost me $100, and it does such wonderful things! It's equipted with Android 4.0.4, and is very speedy. It has a good weight to it, and it looks sturdy. I do have to say that RARELY it can slow down a little bit, but 95% of the time, it is very smooth and crisp. I will also say that the screen isn't MARVELOUS, but I would like to write a note to anyone scared of a "Cloudy Screen" ...Please, read EVERYTHING about the tablet before purchasing it. The screen resolution CLEARLY LISTS that it's 800X480 pixels, what did you expect, an iPad Retina Display? haha, It's $100 , it certainly will NOT be the best display you have ever seen, so don't scare people away by saying "Dull screen!" It honestly isn't that bad, it's just fine! Thank you(:

Anyway, this tablet is absolutely fantastic! It has a very fast processer, and when you watch movies and such on it, it's a very nice mini T.V.! I cannot get over how fantastic this buy was! I absolutely LOVE this tablet, I already have 10 apps, 150 songs, and 10 notes on it, and it runs VERY smoothly. It downloads apps and songs EVEN faster than my Galaxy phone! And my phone is very fast! The webcam isn't the greatest though, but it's okay and still get's the job done! After a full month of searching for a tablet to get... I thought this one was it, and for a hundred dollars, this thing is brilliant! GET THIS ONE! And plus, the screen is FINE! And VERY responsive! You will LOVE this tablet if you buy it! This ones a keeper! I really hope my review helped some of you "Tablet Searchers" out there. In all, this tablet is nicely sized at 7", very fast, very responsive, and... Just awesome! I bought the AVS 4gb version of this tablet for 76 bucks and WOW! This is a very nice tablet. Do not let the price scare you off. This thing does everything i want it to. Very responsive screen and very nice video playback. Youtube seems to load and run faster than my home computer. Again i have the 4gb version but I would think the 8gb is much better. I added a 32GB flash card and loaded 1200 songs on it. The sound quality is amazing! The camera sucks so go buy yourself a good camera ;) I would recomend this pad. Its my first one and I have been using it for over a month with zero issues. Battery life is about 3-4 hours. All android games seem to work fine and i have not loaded one that does not work. Its so cool to have a nice hand held computer and learn to use android. I hope the US can come out with a good line of these. I would really like to buy USA made!

I got this tablet the same day my friend was over with her ipad. I wanted to do some comparisons between my tablet and her ipad:

1) Download Speed: My tablet was a little faster than her ipad.

2) Bootup & Shutdown Speed: The ipad was faster to bootup but the tablet was faster to shutdown

3) Internet Speed: The tablet was much faster than the ipad as far as pulling up websites. Oh, and yes we both were connected to my network.

Overall:

I am very pleased with my purchase.

The touchscreen is very nice. The size is perfect. My only complaint is the owners manual, not very technically infofmative.

After countless hours of research, I decided on this tablet. I ordered 2 of the Tursion 7", 4.0 Android 8GB tablets. One for myself, and one for my 16 yr old daughter to use at school. I had originally started looking at Kindles. I like to read and thought those would be great, but after researching I discovered I could get a whole lot more for a whole lot less. Why get just an ereader when you can have that AND the apps AND the net? Exactly. The tablets arrived one day ahead of schedule, which was great. The manufacture packaging was simple, but secure. The actual shipping packaging, not so great. The box had a rip in it, and one side looked very similar to an accordion. Out of the box, this tablet is very sturdy. It doesn't have a generic feel to it at all. The buttons are nice, great screen, and an overall feel of a more expensive tablet. Friends have even commented on how they would like to have one after seeing how nice mine is. The tablet comes with a wall charger, USB plug, and a screen protector! That was a nice bonus! The manual however, is quite worthless. My advice on that is to just play with the tablet, I did and was able to figure everything out fairly quickly. I also ordered 2 Sandisk Mobile Ultra microSDHC 16GB cards for added storage. Both work amazing! I wasn't sure which card to order, given the SD vs SDHC, as not too many reviews were helpful on this & I am new to the tablet world. However, it says right on the card packaging "Ideal for Android smartphones and tablets", so I chose this one, and it works perfect! The tablet recognized the card right away. After plugging the tablet in to my home computer via the included USB, I was able to transfer photos & music with ease. Now, some of the reviews I read said they had trouble connecting to Wifi... Not the case for me. As soon as I turned the Wifi on, it recognized 4 different Wifi connections for my location, and I was sitting outside of a friend's house. One of those connections was hers. I typed in her password and I was connected, with a great signal too! I went to the Play Store, and made a new account, and downloaded SEVERAL apps. They all work great! Then I browsed the web, no trouble there either. Very responsive tablet. I bought a stylus pen to help with clicking on the small stuff as my fingertips seem just a tad too big for some stuff. Some of the other reviews also said that the screen was "cloudy", it's not. This isn't an Ipad, but it still has a great screen. Don't let a few bad reviews keep you from purchasing this tablet. The speakers are also pretty great, so I don't know why a few people were complaining about that either. I think some people just have to find something to complain about. My 16 yr old loves this tablet! She's a tech junkie, so if she's impressed, it's pretty great! I haven't had any lagging problems, or not responding issues either. Everything downloads just fine. Now, I've only had this tablet for 2 days, and no issues so far. I will update if anything should arise. But my overall opinion would be if you're looking for an inexpensive tablet with all the bells and whistles, this is the one. It does practically everything an Ipad does, and at a fraction of the cost. I give it 5 stars! It's pretty fantastic! Buy it, you'll love it!!

***Update*** After using this tablet for almost 2 weeks, I wanted to add that the Kindle app is FANTASTIC!! There are TONS of free Kindle books on Amazon too! The battery has around 3-4 hours of charge, not bad. There is only one disappointment so far, and it's not with the tablet... the official Netflix app for Android has been updated and the updated app doesn't work. It's not the tablet, it's the app. When the app is repaired, Netflix should work without a hitch. Everyone is having the same issue, but I really wanted to stress that it's not the tablet. Crackle works just fine. I have watched full movies on the tablet through Crackle without any problems. Hope that helps!

Great product and super cheap for what you get. Basically a full featured iPad at 1/5 the price. No notable flaws; allows me to read books on the go, listen to music and browse the internet at high speeds. The screen resolution isn't the greatest but it's well worth the money. this is a wet apply skin much like the zagg skin. the best way to apply this is to get your fingers wet, get a bowl of water and put like just a drop of liquid soap in it. clean the phone as well as you can, then take the screen protector out and put it right on the clean phone. get some paper towels, get it aligned and press the phone face down on the paper towels. alot of the water will come out. then pick it back up and make sure it's aligned perfectly. and put it back down on the paper towel. the trick with these wet apply films is to not mess with it very much, dont peel it up, and don't squeegee too early. in fact once you have it in position, it will be sliding around alot. put it face down on the towels and just leave it alone for a good 5 minutes. check it and it will be stuck fairly well, now you can push more of the water out. if it starts to slide around too much again. make sure it's aligned, and then set it back down face down for another 5 minutes. keep repeating till you get most of the water out.

this skin is better than the zagg in my opinion.. if you like the zagg skin you'll love this one. it applies much like zaggs skin, but it doesn't feel as rubbery, and you can slide your finger around on it much easier than on a zagg skin.

This is a great looking case that does fit like a glove. It does add some bulk to the playbook, but not as much as I feared. The stand is a nice touch and I can see people using it during a plane/train ride. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the clear screen protector on it. It is too thick and I felt that it was affecting the screen sensitivity when it came to doing the swiping gestures. In short, I had to press harder on screen when swiping. Overall I like the OtterBox Defender, it feels as though it will protect my Playbook from pretty much anything (not going to try swimming with it though). Once it is on, takes a little more effort than I'd like, it is on. The cover that doubles as a stand is a nice touch but it did feel as though I was going to break the stand when I tried to pop it up. Tip o' the day, grab you fav' Swiss Army knife -the one with a fileand take a smidge of one of the nubs for the stand, it will make it easier to pop up.

Taking the BBPB out of the case is a snapa tough snap, well actually about eight snaps. The screen cover/shield does not desensitize the touch screen even with a "stick on" shield on the screen as well.

Other than the extra effort needed to snap/unsnap the case the reason for the 4 stars is it does attract the detritus of being human and need frequent cleaning, a minor consideration given the level of protection offered. One last thing I had an occasion to scratch the clear shield of the Defender came through with flying colours, no scratch just a mark that was wiped away. If I could add another three quarters of a star I would.

If you want to totally protect your PB this is what you are looking for, but be adviced that it will add a considérate amount of weight to your device. Excellent fit.

The red leather is beautifully dyed, and the case fits the iPad 2 very well. The felt interior is also well-made. I love that I can take out the protected iPad from its case and put it back in when I need to use it like a pad of paper. In fact, people are often impressed and curious when they see me writing on the iPad during meetings, conferences, and work (I use NoteShelf, an awesome app!). The option to use the iPad within the portfolio case, like a pad of paper, or alone in its protective "sleeve" is the main reason I chose this case. People are often surprised when I take the removable iPad out of the case. The portfolio case is sleek and zips the iPad securely in. I use the Targus Executive Pen and Stylus, which requires me to stick the iPad as close to the zippered edges as possible so that it'll fit. I've dropped my iPad once when it had been removed from the case, and it survived with no damage.

The screen protector is matte and picks up fingerprints. You can easily wipe it off with a cloth, but you'd need something to remove the oils from your fingers. Partly for this reason, I often use a stylus with the iPad. Putting it on was a pain, as the "sticky" side attracted all kinds of dust in the room. However, you can lift it and try again, but I found that it got worse each time I tried to clean it and try again. I liked that the screen protector came with 2 removable layers--one on top of the non-sticky surface so that you can scrape out the bubbles without scratching or damaging the film, and one on the sticky surface.

As useful and great as the case and screen protector are, the stylus is another story. I found it rather useless. After using the stylus for a week, the rubber tip came off. I put it back on, and it came off again, again and again. The rubber tip is also too long, so it drags when you try to write on it. Frustrated with it, I bought the Targus Executive Stylus and Pen and the Bluecell 3-pack styli, all of which are much better when it comes to ease of writing and durability.

Dyed leather it's not always pretty, but they certainly dyed this one as perfect as possible, the color is gorgeous and uniform. The sewing and the finished it's perfect, it doesn't have one loose thread and the zipper seems that's going to last.

For us, the inability to access the lock screen (or mute depending on your settings) turn out to be pretty annoying. Also the ability to turn up and down the volume is not as responsive since those buttons are covered as well. Otherwise, it is a good design for younger children with the rounded, heavy foam corners.

mac users, please don't bother. on the box it clearly states it's for any OS higher than 8.1, but apparently 9.0 is too much for it to handle. the software hasn't been updated since 1998, and on logitech's website the section for this particular camera is so old and neglected it's coated with dust. the FAQ for the pc version of this camera is ten miles long, but of course the mac FAQ is only two questions. but not like that's anything new for mac users. why is this webcam still being sold?

I bought this camera because it was advertised to be Mac compatible. Unfortunately, it only works with Mac OS 9 and below, which haven't been produced since 2002 or so. Also, the design of the camera is such that you have to place it at eye level (it doesn't pivot up enough) and yet there's no way to attach it to a laptop. So you have to place it on top of a pile of books or something to have it angle correctly.

Too bad. I was hoping it would be an inexpensive camera to use in talking with my husband overseas.

For those simply looking for a low-end Webcam and not intending to do anything requiring serious quality, this is a good choice. The software is easy to install (on an iMac, which I use) and includes plenty of options... including the ability to use this device as a "security camera." The image quality is rather grainy, so diehard multimedia creators should definitely steer away from this item, but the average home user is likely to be quite satisfied with this small camera.

I use this connected to a seven-port hub, and the camera still works quite well despite having many other devices also attached to the hub. However, whenever I activate the software for the camera, the Zip drive and floopy drive both connected to the USB hub shut down. This may be a potential drawback, especially for those for whom directly-connecting the camera is not an option due to the need for other peripherals.

Interestingly, I also have MyVideo (USB video capture/outout device) connected to my iMac. Whenever I open the MyVideo software for video capturing, the image from the QuickCam VC shows up in the MyVideo window! This almost certainly means that both devices are using the same set of system calls or video drivers. Therefore, if using the QuickCam VC in conjunction with other video-related equipment on the same computer, a few "surprises" may appear. (In my case, this simply means switching the video source within the MyVideo program.)

This is a great little tool. The picture quality is good and USB makes it a breeze. I've had mine for over a year and had no problems with it. I highly recommend this product for someone who is looking for a reasonably priced quickcam product.

I have other products made by logitech, and I have to agree that the support isn't excellent. I've had to return a cordless wheel mouse two times, but I'm still happy with the product. Their support line should be toll-free.

I was super excited to find a finer point stylus. It worked great for about two weeks, then the sensitivity started to decrease. Then I noticed it was leaving black streaks on my screen. One day later, the entire tip just peeled right off! Of course, my return window expired the 5 th of May. Today is the 11th... Sigh. Suggest you look for something better....

Tried to save few bucks and go with this Moko for $20 over some of the higher priced cases designed for the Asus Transformer Prime. It's a good quality case and for $20 it's a good buy.

I've had it now for a few weeks and it's breaking in quite nicely, I don't regret buying it.

The cutouts in the sleeve match up with the Prime. The jacket which wraps the sleeve has two cutouts, one for power and a hole for the camera.

The sleeve fits well and it's great for bedtime reading because the Prime alone is pretty slippery as you probably know. The jacket works well for reading at a desk/table. The jacket has three positions for inclining your Prime and each position is achieved by resting the bottom edge of the Prime against a red leather strip. It works well, doesn't slip and the 3 positions seem to cover what ever angle I need. I often type with the Prime in landscape propped up in the jacket and it works fine.

The sleeve has velcro strips on the back which match up to velcro on the jacket. It allows for portrait or landscape viewing. I tried the sleeve in the jacket in portrait mode for bedtime and it's a little too bulky so I just use the sleeve in bed I like the Prime in portrait mode for reading books.

The leather is good, about average. Not too light in that it protects well. The stitching looks neat. I've had this case for a month and it's wearing well. I find that I'm removing the sleeve from the jacket around two times a day so we'll see how the velcro holds up.

As far as mobility is concerned:

I have the keyboard but I'm finding that instead of removing the Prime from the sleeve and attaching it to the keyboard I leave the Prime in the case while putting the keyboard in a plastic bag inside my shoulder bag.

I was going to buy the rooCase but the Moko was less expensive and I haven't had my hands on a rooCase for comparison. This Moko does the job I can't envision anyone returning it for poor performance.

Best case for the Prime.

The two best features:

1. Being able to charge it while in the case (it has that awesome slit on the side).

2. The ability to have it stand horizontally as well as vertically (best for playing "Draw Something" app...my girlfriend's new obsession)

I am a proud owner of this motherboard. It has everything you need, including old ports like IDE (if you are interested in using your old HDD's). It has capacity for 32GB of RAM, but 8GB is more than enough for a couple of years. Of course, I searched on the Web for reviews on this product and looks like the FX processors are having some compatibility issues (something related to the drivers). That is not my case, I bought a Phenom II X4 and I have no regrets since then.

Take notice, although this board states it will support the FX series of CPU's (with update), it WILL NOT support the FX 8350 8 core. The information is only found digging into MSI's website, and a very tiny blurb way don amidst all the tech spec's is a notation regarding 125w processors not being supported. This info is not in the online advertising, on the box, or in the manual included. The board will shut your system down when the CPU is under even light load, and this can cause severe damage in other area's of your system. Another gripe, I don't know if this is the same for all 760G-E51 FX boards, but mine did not come with a jumper for JBAT1 which is not easily noticeable unless your looking. So the board will not allow you to save CMOS settings, and will display a "CMOS Battery Low" message every time you boot until you place a jumper in the correct pin position of JBAT1. Until this issue is corrected, your board will not correctly post and performance of your other equipment will be limited.

In summary, again, this will not support an FX 8350. In general, this will not support any mid to high end gaming rig's due to it's various and numerous other issues. If your running quad core or under AM3+ CPU's and are not looking to game, then I'm sure you'll be fine. But even then, I'd go for something cheaper and better quality.

This motherboard is slightly behind what is currently available but having all the components for a new system other than a Motherboard, CPU and memory, this Motherboard fit the bill. I am using it with an AMD FX 6100 6-core processor and 16 GB of DDR3 1600 RAM. I reused sata2 drives which report higher speed with this motherboard than the last.

The only issue I ran into was playing with the software that came with it, trying to unlock the extra cores in the CPU and over clock, I had to remove the battery and one of the PCI cards to get the system to boot. Running this board with Windows 7 64, with out the extra software supplied on the CD (just the drivers, most from Microsoft) it runs well..

Nataal Premium Stylus for Ipad 2, Ipad, Galaxy Tab and other Capacitive Screen Tablets (Silver)

The Nataal brand stylus appears to be identical other than in the name printed on the pen and pen box, to the Acase 2nd Generation Capacitive Stylus. I infer this based on photos of the Acase pen and box (including an "unboxing" video of an Acase stylus the box is identical to the box my Nataal came in). Both pens are manufactured in Taiwan. The Acase is manufactured in Taiwan by a manufacturing and trading company called AE Tech. (It seems that while the Acase styli are available in silver, black, red, and blue, the ones sold as Nataal come only in silver and black.)

The Nataal is the third capacitive stylus I've bought. I'm an artist and use my 1st generation iPad a lot for cartooning and illustration (primarily with the Sketchbook Pro app for iPad), and like many artists, I like to have a variety of tools to work with, in this case capacitive styli. And I use these styli on my iPad for everything else I've barely touched my iPad with my fingers since I started using styli such as games (e.g., dragging tiles in Scrabble), taking notes with the Penultimate app, making quick typed notes with the Index Card app, etc. And the Nataal works as well for all the above purposes as my Kensington Stylus and Pen and BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus. The Boxwave is very short; the Nataal and Kensington are the same length, which is just about 5 1/4 inches (the ring on the end of the Nataal adds a bit of length). The Nataal is lighter in weight than the Kensington, no doubt because the Kensington doubles as a ball point and so has the added weight of an ink cartridge and tip.

The tip of the Nataal is slimmer than the tips of the other two styli, whose tips seems to be the same size. While this does not seem to translate into a thinner line, it does seem to reduce resistance or drag between the pen tip and the screen (though this may be too subtle for some to notice), and it does make for slightly improved visibility and thus improved precision as I write, draw, and tap. (I want to interject that after putting the Kensington through regular heavy use, it stopped gliding over the screen as smoothly as it once did. It's still usable but less than what I'd consider ideal for a capacitive stylus.)

Anyone who has yet to use a capacitive stylus should understand that they do not work like non-capacitive styli (and it may be helpful to know the difference between capacitive touchscreens and resistive touchscreens). "Capacitive" refers to "capacitive sensing," and in order for a capacitive stylus to work on a touchscreen designed for use with fingertips, the tip of the stylus must be made of conductive material such as foam (because capacitive touchscreens only respond to conductive materials; the human body is an electrical conductor, which is why human fingers work on capacitive touchscreens). It is therefore the case that capacitive styli have squishy, fat tips. It is also the case that capacitive touchscreens, while more responsive than resistive touchscreens, do not allow for the same degree of accuracy (e.g., as required for handwriting recognition) as resistive touchscreens. Users of resistive touchscreens accustomed to working with a hard stylus should know that the experience of working with a necessarily soft-tipped capacitive stylus on a capacitive touchscreen (such as an iPad screen) is a considerably different experience.

The Nataal, like the aforementioned Boxwave, comes with a lanyard that users can plug into the earphone jack of their iPad or etc. I've never used the lanyard for my Boxwave stylus and don't anticipate using the lanyard that comes with the Nataal, one reason being that I wouldn't want any part of either styli touching my iPad screen. The Nataal lanyard is a lot nicer than the one that came with my Boxwave. The Boxwave lanyard has a tiny split ring on the end that attaches to the pen, like a tiny keyring, whereas the lanyard that comes with the Nataal has a snap clip which makes it much easier to attach and remove from the end of the stylus than the Boxwave's split ring.

I think an ideal capacitive stylus would have and come with replaceable tips. I've read that the Wacom Bamboo capacitive stylus tip can be replaced but that it does not come with replacement tips, and that is the only capacitive stylus I've heard of that has a replaceable tip.

I'm very pleased with the Nataal, and pleased that I was able to determine to my satisfaction that it is identical other than in name to the Acase (which at present is a bit more expensive than the Nataal), and would recommend it to anyone who is in need of a capacitive stylus.

Works very well with both my iPod and iPad screens.

Would prefer if the rubber were a little harder. This would make it easier to draw with but overall I'm happy with this pen

The Nataal Stylus is identical, as far as I can tell, to the Acase stylus and to many others (I would guess they are produced in the same factory in China and differently branded.) They all work fine but, after a while, they do not glide smoothly over the iPad (when writing or sketching.) Until I find a technique for restoring a stylus to it's original drawing/writing capability, I need to replace them every 6 months or so. I simply select the brand with the lowest price.

I like the Nataal and the Acase because they taper to a smaller ball at the tip allowing more precise control.

I have a motorola photon. At first I thought I wasted my money because the phone was not charging all the way. but then I realized that your batteries need to be fully charged, and also make sure you have good quality batteries. I have enelope rechargeable batteries. I love this charger. when the batteries run out of power, the phone will tell me to disconect to save energy. that means the batteries cant supply enoght charge. 4 set of AA batteries will charge your motorola photon 1.5 times. meaning, if your phone is completly dead, it will chanrge it once, and then just half way the second time you want to charge it. the product is not square like the picture, it is smaller and rectangular.

Exactly what I wanted and more! I didn't have an input in my dash for me to plug my phone into so I had to get a transmitter. Works like a charm! I was worried because I already have the phone stand on my dash so I can use my Droid X for navigation and I thought I might have to use my backseat lighter socket (or get a splitter)if I wanted to use both navigation AND transmit radio from my phone. I don't ever review anything but felt it was such a shame that this product doesn't have 100's of 5 star reviews. This product fit my needs exactly. Moto Droid X, no stereo plugins for devices in my car, and Chicago's packed FM dial. Charge and transmit at the same time with one of only 2 FM transmitters I have owned (5 total with various phones & iPods) that is actually powerful enough to work in the city where there are ZERO open frequencies.

For anyone in Chicago who may be considering this device, my daily commute is up and down Lake Shore Drive surrounded by the radio towers on top of the buildings downtown and it works. Can be a little static-y at times, but the signal improves rapidly as you get away from the Loop.

I knew there was potential for this item to not be as good as a hard wired device. I don't consider myself an audiophile and would have been pleased with basic performance. I like the build quality of the item and its looks. Works as advertised, but the static is constant even though the unit is just about four feet from the antena. This was on a station with no local interference.
