I bought this presentation clicker to help with powerpoint presentations in my college public speaking class. The podium is not conveniently placed near the keyboard and mouse, so the movement required to change slides would detract from speech delivery. With Amazon Prime, I upgraded to One-Day shipping and even with that the total cost was still under $20 when comparable models are upwards of $50 before shipping. The pointer feature is the standard button-operated red laser pointer, but it has the best range I've seen in affordable pointer models.

The truly useful features are of course in the presentation capabilities. In Mode A (the one you'll probably stay in when you're just doing a standard Powerpoint Presentation), you have the ability to start the slideshow from the standard view upon opening a ppt(x) file, to change slides (one at a time, though with practice you can accurately manage 2 or 3 slides without the audience knowing), black-screen the presentation for pauses and escape from the presentation at the end of the slide show. In the interesting Mode B (achieved by a single strong click of the Fn button), you can use the directional pad to move your mouse at two speeds in 4 directions (8 with practice) and then left-click with what was the Esc button in Mode A. Mode A is preferable for standard slide shows, while Mode B is useful for button-enhanced presentations and for non-PowerPoint uses of the clicker.

In terms of look and feel, it is surprisingly smooth and stylish, looking similar to many mp3 players and comparable in size (for the handheld device) to a first generation iPod Nano. The usb part is made with the same sleek finish, but it is about twice as wide as your average USB drive, so beware that it may block nearby ports depending on your USB orientation and position.

Installation was literally plug and play. I have not tried it on a Mac, but on Windows Vista and 7 everything is ready to go within a minute of plugging the usb piece into your computer. One review I read said that someone returned it the second they found it was not Windows 7 compatible, so I now figure that they must have just read the instruction booklet (which does not specifically mention compatibility after Vista) without simply trying it, because there were no issues for me.

Overall, great features, worth at least $30 plus shipping, so Amazon did a great job pricing it to move.

I purchased this device because I wanted a small presentation remote to replace my older one, which was a cheap on as well.

This remote had problems from day one. The buttons would sometimes work, but most of the time they wouldn't. Had problems in both presentation mode and mouse mode. Seems I got a bad one, which happens. However I immediately decided not to just get a replacement.

Even if it had worked I would have wanted to return it.

The buttons make a noticeable click sound that is a bit too loud and would be a distraction in meetings and speaking engagements.

The USB dongle is huge. I understand they wanted to make it where the dongle could plug into the remote when not in use, but if you have side by side usb ports, you will not be able to plug in anything next to this.

No on / off switch. You throw this in your bad and something is pressing one of the buttons, your battery will drain quickly.

Battery a pain to get out. If you needed to change the battery you have to play with it to get the old one out. Not to mention they use a small spring on the side of the battery for contact. You could easily mess that up and it would be a small paper weight.

Down is next? Seems a bit odd for me, but I could have lived with that.

The one thing this remote did have going for it was size, I loved the size of the thing. People would hardly be able to tell you had one in your hand.

Everything about this case is great with the exception of not having a cutout on the bottom to push phone up with finger when removing.

What happens is that the part of the phone that is exposed is where the volume buttons and on/off are. For me, every time I pull phone out (after it rings, and is active) it turns volume down, and if you do not pay attention, you will be getting silent calls.

The slightly annoying fix is to put your phone in the case upside down.

BTW, shipping was fast, but now there are many other cases that are at at fraction of the cost.

Great case! Style, functionality, all perfect. I use this case to go running with the note, and its like its not even there. It also looks great in pants that don't fit the massive Galaxy Note.

Ok, I have to admit, I was a little nervous about ordering this from China.

Let me put your concerns to rest.

Gotta tell ya, I love this case. It's is a quality product.

It shipped much faster than Amazon quoted me, very pleasantly surprised.

The soft leather feels great on the outside.

The inside has a harder textured plastic like feel to it.

The clip seems to be constructed well and works very nice on my belt.

It stays on when you take out or insert your phone, and pulls off nicely when you want the whole thing off your belt.

I've even bumped the bottom when sitting down and it stays securely on my belt.

It has a nice tight snug fit to hold the Galaxy Note.

I use a TPU case over the phone and the PDair case will expand enough to securely hold it and allow you to remove the phone without pulling the PDair off your belt, everything stays in place.

It has a stretchy material in between to allow for a little expansion.

If you feel this would suit your needs, I say go ahead and be confident with this purchase.

I just received the case after almost 3 weeks. After installing the cover over the tablet, I could not connect it to the dock. The cover was too bulky to use it with the docking keyboard. I have the computer that this case is supposed to fit and I figured it would have stretched to fit eventually but after several uses it was still too tight. I bought this GPS receiver to replace a Microsoft branded receiver I had that got destroyed some time back. The first thing that went smoothly was the installation of the drivers onto my Windows 7 laptop. Once I used their diagnostic software to verify that it was working correctly, I tried it with my moving map software. It works wonderfully. I had the opportunity to try it out in a sheer moment of "where the heck am I?" on a weekend trip. From the time I plugged the unit into the computer, to the map showing me the "You Are Here" location was less than a minute.

My one upset about the puck is the length of the USB cable. Granted, it's 6 foot long, but I would have liked a bit more.

Certainly works great!

The product is fine, appears to work as described. I'm using it with my netbook and a free nautical Navigation program but haven't had a chance to test it other than seeing that it does pinpoint my current location. I am looking forward to using them on my boat this spring/summer) The GPS installation instructions were minimal I thought, one section on a large sheet that repeated the instructions in maybe 15 languages). They referred to a test .exe file that I didn't find on the enclosed disk. The driver(s) etc., are on a mini-CD which didn't work in my tower's vertical CD drive, so I had to find another computer and copy the CD to a usb flash drive. Also, it wasn't clear to me that the driver on the disk was for Win 7. However, I did easily find what I needed on the Holux site, although I was still slightly confused/uncertain about the driver(s) I needed. Also, the test program was a compressed .RAR file, not a zip file, which required finding and downloading a RAR compression/extraction program (free for 40 days). Becoming comfortable and accomplishing all this required several hours and was slightly inconvenient. I rated it four stars due to what I considered to be disk/instruction deficiencies. For perspective, I am over 70 and only moderately computer savvy. As such, my experience may have little relevance for most younger folks or others sharper on computers who would likely have no problems installing the device.

I purchased this one, after a sad experience with Garmin GPS 18 USB, which was a complete mess...

Though not included with the actual Reader, this charger is extremely useful for a) quick charging, b) recovering from complete battery death and c) charging in situations where there is no computer available.

I bought this charger after noticing that the reader would not charge through a wall plug to USB converter (like the iPhone/iPod and other gadgets use). This seems to be a design flaw of the Reader but not one of the charger. I have been pleased with the performance of the charger and have found that in some cases where I have let the battery die completely in the reader, normal computer USB supply is not enough (or perhaps I wasn't patient enough) to reanimate the device. However, immediately on plugging in the reader charger, the reader rebooted and was charged quite quickly.

I recommend the charger highly but am disappointed that it's an attempt at nickel and diming for accessories by Sony.

I pre-ordered my Sony 600 and a charger I received THIS charger immediately from Sony, and have now used it on my 600. So, until they update the information you should know that this is the correct charger for the 600 as well as the 505.

I love having it because I can read and charge at the same time, and I can slip it into my suitcase when I'm traveling without my laptop. I currently keep it plugged in next to my bed, and when I'm done reading at night I plug in my reader. It's freshly charged and ready-to-go when I grab my reader in the morning.

I use a similar strategy for my Ipod and cell phone it keeps me from worrying about what has been charged, because all of them are fresh each day.

I have only had my reader for about a month and I have only used this charger once. I believe a charger should be purchased for any handheld item such as MP3 players, cell phones and such. Having this charger makes charging the batter (which rarely gets low in power) quicker and easier than plugging it into the computer.

Although the reader can be charged by the computer when plugged into the USB port, the charger works a whole lot better and faster. Well worth the price.

This product is a must have if you are on the go and do not have access to a computer. I love the fact that I can charge my PRS505 and read at the same time (something you can't do with the USB). Is it pricey? Yes. Should it have been included with the reader? Yes. With that said I still think it's a good product and well worth my 4-star rating.

This is a very handy device. On one end there is a red and black pen and the other is a stylus to use on touchscreens. I use it on my iphone and my Kendall. This is a huge jump for me from a visor(palm os), as long as you like windows os you should be really happy with this pda. it is fast, has plenty of storage for apps and the colors are beautiful. it has multimedia, music, video and jpgs. with windows xp, the device appears as a networked resource when synched, which is very neat. i find that i am able to read books on this device, because the graphics are so good, unlike my palm. i have used the bluetooth capability, and it was moderately difficult to configure on my network. it does seem to suck up power, but i have never experienced powere loss. i have had it for 6 months now, and have only had to reboot the thing once, and it was the result of some crappy shareware.

I had to replace HP Ipaq 5450 which I purchased from Amazon back in January this year and went dead two month later. I own a HP ipaq since 2002 and finally the battery no longer hold the charge. After years of applying screen protectors to cell phones and Blackberries, putting a protector on an e-reader was a new adventure. The package comes with a smoothing card to get bubbles out and 2 silicon fingertip coverings, probably to avoid getting skin oils on the sticky side. They were a pain to use and still left some residue.

I think the size of the protector was the main challenge after pulling of the backing, it was a struggle to align the film over the screen then ease it onto the screen. The adhesive is very sticky so you have to pull it completely off to make adjustments.

I found some bubbles didn't cooperate and need to pull up the film several times before they were gone. Then a few dust particles became an enormous distraction. Using Scotch tape on the sticky side removed them well.

After all that effort I'm very happy with the results. There is still some glare but less than the bare screen, which is now protected. If this protector gets damaged I don't know if I'll use this product again I'll have to do some more homework.

This product was a waste of money. Once I finally got it lined up properly (after many failed attempts) and got 90% of the air bubbles out I noticed that along the top and bottom edge that some of the adhesive and actually come off and was stuck to the screen so it look scratched. I have purchased screen protectors for my phone and they cost the same, but come with several sheets so if you have a problem you can just use another one. This comes with one so if you get dust on it or anything goes wrong you are just out the money.

I typically use InvisibleShield to protect all my gadgets, but this time theirs didn't come with a screen protector so I had to look elsewhere. This product is a perfect fit for the Sony Reader Touch and is incredibly easy to install. I have the cover with the light and when I use it in the dark in bed, I don't have much trouble with glare. I just point the light a little above the reader itself and everything works. Now I can get over my OCD and actually touch the screen without using the stylus all the time! I highly recommend this product!

The anti-glare film actually improves the Reader performance in terms of viewing. Am very pleased. The 'touch screen' works just the same as before application. Protection attributes are obviously good. Installation was not as difficult as expected but perhaps that was because there were two of us working on it and we laid the long edge down first.

These headphones work great. I have had no problems with them what so ever. Sound card works well, my sound card is better though (Creative Fata1ty). For regular music they work just fine, don't expect great base and don't listen to them at high volume, the distortion is annoying. Games and movies with 5.1, are where these headphones shine. This is one fantastic headset. The earcups are huge which means they are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the auto adjusting headband makes the headset very light on your head. To all the gamers out there I want to let you know that the Microphone works magnificently even unattached from the headset (mine is 5 feet away and crystal clear) but you have to use the included soundcard (my onboard soundcard made the output very low) Overall my favorite headset to date.

I'm sorry the person below had a terrible experience with their Axim, but I could not be more pleased. I previously owned a Palm handheld and it sat mostly unused except for reading e-books during long waits. The switch from my bottom-of-the-line Palm to this bottom-of-the-line Dell was like going from a Yugo to a Ferrari for me. I have absolutely no problems with crashes, lost files, or otherwise. I use it constantly to note my appointments and it is so easy to synch with Outlook on my desktop. I love that it easily recognizes "normal" handwriting, unlike my Palm which required special characters, and that it includes Windows Media Player which is also incredibly easy to synch with WMP on my desktop. I have a 1GB memory card just for music, and 250MB card for games. They easily switch out. In a few years when I'm ready to upgrade, it will definitely be another Axim.

I cannot believe there was a PDA on the market so nice and yet so unbelievability cheap! I am in the medical field of work and this device made my life a whole lot easier.

I have owned several Axims previously and thought that I would again be pleased with this PDA. The Axim X30 contains all the features I was anticipating and it appears that Dell had improved the unit from it predecessors. The trouble came in trying to get the unit to sync with my PC which is running Windows Vista Home Premium. First, the installation disc does not contain the software that allows you to create the appropriate synchronization links (it is outdated for Vista). You have to go and load Windows Mobile Device Center. After loading the new program I could get the units to acknowledge one another existed but I still could not get the 2 units to transfer data. I found that Dell no longer supports Axim units and Microsoft was no help either. I eventually returned the unit and purchased a Palm Tungsten E2 which, after loading the appropriate Palm software, functions smoothly.

First off, do be aware of the following:

(1) The operating system on the Dell Axim X30 is Windows Mobile 2003 SE (Windows Mobile 4, Second Edition). This version of Windows Mobile isn't supported by Microsoft anymore. The current version of Windows Mobile is 6.1.

(2) The Dell Axim has been discontinued by Dell since 2007. You will have trouble getting any support from Dell if you run into any problems.

Over the course of nearly 5 years that I've owned the Axim X30, it has been plagued with problem after problem. Sure, there are many users who are satisfied with it but there are about an equal number us who have been dissatisfied with it as well. I've been through countless hours searching through newsgroups and Googling to seek answers for troubleshooting problems on my Axim. What I've found is that the problems I have with my Axim are not isolated instances that are specific to my Axim:

1) A problem commonly reported is the backup battery going bad or burning out. There is no way to replace it unless you want to venture into cracking the case open and soldering the right kind of battery on.

2) A lot of users, like myself, have the problem with the built-in storage spontaneously disappearing. The PPC doesn't "see" the drive anymore; it's like it doesn't even exist.

3) Activesync frequently fails to sync some task and calendar items.

4) Pathetic battery life. I can squeeze about 2.5 hours from the battery it comes with and that's with Bluetooth ans WiFi turned off and the screem dimmed down. Although there are batteries with higher capacities, these are slightly bulkier and jut out from the back of the unit.

5) The power/data connector completely broke loose.

The Final Straw

The final straw came when the data connector broke completely loose. Enough is enough I decided that I had simply wasted too much time and effort (and money) into trying to fix the problems on my Axim and that it was more trouble than it was worth. As a replacment, I got the HP iPAQ 111. I've had it for a few months and so far, I've been pretty happy with it.

It would seem that Dell has a quality control problem with the Dell Axim. There are probably some good units floating out there, but taking the plunge to get the Axim is akin to playing Russian Roulette. Do you feel lucky?

Purchased this printer for set up with Square register. I obviously did not do enough research before purchasing this printer. Come to find out, the TSP100 series has many models, and this the 143U NOT LAN, U is for USB, duh, right? Well too bad for me. So when I called the people at GCI to get an explanation, they were very aware of Square register and assured me this would work with any other wireless router that has a USB port. WRONG! I bought a brand new wireless router with USB port, waited 5 days, plugged everything in and nothing. Then after more research, I discovered via some other pour soul's tweet 7/25/12 that this printer is not supported by Square. While the seller is correct and it's true I did purchase the "wrong" STAR TSP143 printer, the listing could be more clear about this model number (this printer's complete name is TSP100 ECO 143iiU) and that it does not work with Square. Now I have to pay to return the printer and I am responsible for any "restocking fees" that may incur.

I must admit being hardware savvy, I did not realize drives even came in 1.8" Well you learn something everyday I guess. Well my primary reason for purchasing this drive was to revive an old Zune media player I received from a friend. The sort-of famous error 5 message kept appearing after I recharged the Zune after it remained dormant for such a long time.

Well I did some research, and found out that only certain drives work with this type of Zune player. I was hesitant to buy a full fledged 120Gb dive since I don't have a large music collection. So I picked this out because it was significantly cheaper than the 120Gb drives. A do-it-yourself repair that didn't take much time, and a little recharge I got the player to boot up. It asked me to connect to the Zune Software then voila, The Zune works perfectly fine.

In short, this 1.8" drive works perfectly fine with a Zune 120 media player. I cannot testify as to how long it will last, but at least I learned something.
