This keyboard folds up into a zippered, thick-sandwich-sized bag, due to its "collapsing" design. It's a quicker input than the stylus. I still have to adjust to key layout, because I push arrow keys instead of Shift, Control or Enter.

I'm using this keyboard with an old Palm IIIxe. It works good. I had a little trouble at first, but had to make sure the connections were very firm. The keyboard is very small, but that is to be expected. It works for what I wanted To be able to quickly take some notes or journal entries without having to take along my expensive laptop. I used to drive all day and didn't have room to take my laptop and didn't want to risk damage on it, just for a half hour of use at lunch and maybe another 15 minutes during the day. This is much more compact and starts quickly. I should have bought it several years ago before I retired! But I couldn't resist at $5 plus $5 s/h. Definately worth the price A great value. Today I see it's only $0.49 and there are only 4 left Better hurry!

rooCASE Tablet Carrying Bag for Le Pan TC 970 9.7-Inch Android Tablet - VersaSport Series Black

rooCASE Tablet Carrying Bag for Le Pan TC 970 9.7-Inch Android Tablet - VersaSport Series Black
  • Non-OEM Case for Le Pan TC 970 9.7-Inch Android Tablet
  • Padded tablet compartment with Velcro retaining strap (Netbook NOT included!!)
  • Front Zippered Pocket for Netcard, SD Cards, Pens, Cellphone, Power Cord and AC Adapter.
  • MP3 Compartment with Outlet for Earbuds. Padded Adjustable Shoulder Strap.
  • Strap on the back of case for a rolling upright suitcase.

A little bigger than I thought it would be, but that's ok because it has compartments that hold a lot of stuff. Quality of workmanship is superb, very lightweight but tough, and will easily fit a 10" tablet with room to spare. One compartment even has some stylus/pen holders. This, for me, is the perfect carrying case for protecting my 10" tablet. This item shipped to me via UPS that was handed off to USPS, so tracking got weird for a while, but it still came a day earlier than expected.

Sandisk 4GB COMPACTFLASH CARD ( SDCFB-4096-A10 Retail Package)

Sandisk 4GB COMPACTFLASH CARD
  • Up to 4GB (4,000,000,000 characters) capacity
  • For use in virtually all products that accept CompactFlash memory cards
  • Non-volatile solid-state; no moving parts maximizes battery power. Data is not lost when power is turned off
  • Operating shock rating of 2,000Gs, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor (memory card alone)

This is not the fastest 4GB card currently available, but it's 4GB, and it's from a well-known and reliable manufacturer. It's a Type I card (slimmer than Type II), and it has a little three-position switch on the side.

If the device(s) were you'd be using this card support FAT32, you most likely will put the switch in position 1, and have the whole card formatted as one big partition. Alternatively, switch positions 2 and 3 allow switching between two 2GB partitions that can be formatted using FAT16 supported by older devices. Effectively the card works as two different 2GB cards with a flick of the switch in this mode.

Following information is for Nikon D70 camera owners who want to use this CompactFlash card with their camera. I purchased this card to use with my D70 camera. It seems to work fine. I formatted mine as a whole 4GB in FAT32 mode. Initially the camera did not want to format the card using the "two-button" mode, but formatted all-right using the on-screen menu. You may want to check to make sure your camera has the latest firmware.

Buy Sandisk 4GB COMPACTFLASH CARD ( SDCFB-4096-A10 Retail Package) Now

I bought this card to use with my Nikon D70 (strange, only D70 owners seem to be giving reviews for this card) The camera can see entire size without problems. I don't want to call this card Fast as it's a relative term. For my uses it is quick enough and I simply do not need a faster card. I have 6 mega pixel camera and here's the timing I got from this card. The writing speed of this card is about 2.5 MB/sec. What does this mean? My maximum resolution JPG images are about 2.5MB on average. So with this card I can shoot continuously 1 frame/sec till the card runs out of space. But the thing is, the fastest my camera can write is about 1.5 frames/sec, which is very close to the max speed of this Sandisk card.

So, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel I need more speed?

Formatted card using camera menu and have had no problems with the card in camera or in my Averatec XP-Home laptop. The D70's image buffering is very good so card feels just as fast as all of my other various CF cards in my D70.

I suspect I will be ordering a couple more 4GB CF cards soon!

The price and some positive reviews led me to purchase this item, but after only about 1,000 pictures, all I got was corrupted data. I had the card professionally tested to ensure it was the card and nothing wrong with my camera. It definitely showed the card was the problem. Luckily, I had recently done a download. Won't trust my pictures to this brand again!

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet P1000 for Verizon SCH-

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet P1000 for Verizon SCH-I800
  • Non-OEM Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet P1000 for Verizon SCH-I800
  • Super Bubble Shock Absorbing Foam Interior. (e-Book Not Included)
  • Water Resistant Neoprene Sleeve Case.
  • Velcro Accessory Pocket for Clip-On Book Light and Charger.
  • Color Matching Rubber Zipper.

This is my second rooCASE product which fits my 7in Galaxy Tab perfectly! It is truly well protected. The "bubble-bumps" inside of the case add extra protection and it is form-fitting but not tight. I have another rooCASE for my MacBook Air (which there are very few cases out there to purchase for the MBA) which is also the perfect case.

rooCASEs come in all sorts of colors and just look great. They are made well, not cheap quality (strong zippers & seams) and are not overpriced (IMHO). Buy a rooCASE and you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend them.

Fits my Galaxy Tab perfectly, and the bubble padding gives good protection.

All the seams are tight and well-stitched. Nice piece of kit. The outside pocket is secured by a square of velcro.

The only improvements I would suggest would be a pen pocket, and some sort of loop or ring on it somewhere.

Tascam DR2D Portable Digital Recorder

Tascam DR2D Portable Digital Recorder
  • Compact, affordable portable digital recorder for 96kHz/24-bit WAV or MP3 recording to SD cards
  • Stereo condenser microphone design with improved signal to noise ratio
  • Dual recording function records a copy of your audio at a lower level
  • Variable Speed Audition function changes the playback speed without changing the pitch
  • Powered by two AA batteries or optional power supply

Update: V1.02 Firmware appears to have fixed the NiMH battery issue. No premature shutdown with full or partially discharged NiMH and unit shuts down gracefully on low battery condition. I'm very pleased.

Original Review:

I did my homework and narrowed the choice down to the Olympus LS-11, the Sony PCM-D50, PCM-M10, and the Zoom H4n.

My primary requirement was superb internal mics.

Secondary were a clean Line In (no preamp)if possible, 4-track capability, battery life, and construction quality.

The LS-11 has top end clarity but anemic bottom end (20 hrs.

The D50 is sonically neutral and a standard in this performance/feature category, but pricey.

The M10 has phenomenal battery life >40 hrs, but to my ear, the internal mics are in a class below the other candidates.

The Zoom H4n has much to recommend it and is a 4-track recorder (but not at 96kHZ sampling), but the build quality is not up to the other units and battery life is just passable.

And then this gem popped up when I visited the German Audiotranskription review site:

(use Google translate to read their opinions/methods)

I suggest you listen carefully and compare the organ samples. I was blown away.

Audibly it is an extraordinary performer and exceeds my original narrowed field (even the D50 IMHO).

I have an SD-10 concert grand and the DR-2D reproduces it faithfully.

Plus its a 4 track recorder and at 96hHZ, 24-bit.

It has a clean Line In.

Is solidly constructed.

Menu access/navigation is easy too.

Cons:

Battery life is limited to ~4-5 hrs recording on an AA pair.

I also have had erratic battery low error messages on full eneloop NiMH batts. I just downloaded the latest firmware v1.02.

Hopefully that issue is now fixed. Will update this review if it is/isn't.

I doubt the problem is specific to mine as others have reported battery issues.

It is my only complaint/concern in all other respects the unit is the overall best of the pack IMHO.

There are numerous other review sites out there with lots of audio samples -

Good luck,

Mark

Buy Tascam DR2D Portable Digital Recorder Now

I use this device to record myself playing harp and it works great. Clean sound, easy to use interface, solid construction, easy navigation. 4 stars because it's not perfect (see my observations below).

I did a lot of research before I bought this recorder and the reviews I found comparing the DR-2D with other top recorders like the LS-10/11, Sony PCM-M10, Zoom H4n were more favorable to the mic quality of this one. I am satisfied with the mic quality.

I compared this recorder side-by-side with the DR-05. The buttons of the DR-05 are bigger and considerably easier to use, but the DR-2D is not bad. The wheel helps, mainly because the DR-2D has many more functions, but is not as good as DR-05's big and solid buttons. I loved the simplicity of the DR-05, but given that the internal mic of this one is better, I preferred the DR-2D.

The buttons of the DR-2D are tiny, but I got used to them.

If you're planning to buy an AC adapter, I bought a Sony PSP 1000 adapter and it works fine. The Tascam adapter costs twice as much. Both are 5V, 2A.

(By the way, kudos to the Sony adapter, I use one on my 2wire AT&T modem after the original died, which seems to be a known problem for this modem.)

A few observations that might help novices like me:

1. All the recorders I used (Zoom H2, Tascam DR-05 and this) record my harp with clean sound, but at very low level (with mid to high mic gain even). I always need to normalize using Audacity to get a volume level comparable to mp3's I have (and it sounds great). Not a flaw, just an observation. I think these recorders are made to record high volume like a full band playing, and acoustic instruments are recorded at low volume. Interestingly, the output is high enough when played from the device itself, in all cases.

2. Mic placement makes an enormous difference. I use this recorder on a $20, light-weight, Polaroid tripod that you can buy from Amazon and it works great. Then I tested many positions until I found which give the best recording.

3. You will probably not find the perfect recorder. I like the DR-2D because of the mic quality, possibility of recording true 2 channel (2 independent files), solid construction, comes with a remote. But I wish the buttons were fantastic as DR-05's, for example. I need 3 buttons clicks to delete a file in the DR-05, and 6 on the DR-2D. Or, as another reviewers said, I wish I could bookmark different sets of gain/sensitivity, etc. Mic sensitivity and volume have dedicated buttons on the side that sometimes I like, sometimes I prefer the DR-05 way. And all this is subjective. So try not to lose your mind doing your research...

Read Best Reviews of Tascam DR2D Portable Digital Recorder Here

By now, it should already be well-known that the Tascam DR2d records very well with its built-in mics (very airy and detailed sound). In this respect it beats Zoom's models, which sound rather muffled in comparison.

The unit itself is packed to the gills with features. The metronome, the ability to change the speed without altering the pitch, the ability to add reverb (albeit in a crude way) during recording or playback, the provision for plugging in an external microphone, dual-recording level operation, and wireless remote are all great attributes for the musician on a tight budget. For the current asking price through Amazon, this is one deal you cannot refuse even if you're not a musician.

Unlike other reviewers, I am reviewing the DR2d from an audiophile's perspective.

What persuaded me to buy this was the fact that the DR2d has the ability to record uncompressed 96kHz, 24bit WAV files and it contains a dedicated line-in jack. The less expensive DR-05 (already a super good deal) has the former but not the latter. The dedicated line-in jack is important to anyone who would want to at least occasionally use the DR2D as a recorder to archive or digitize their analog sources (LPs, cassettes, open-reel, Beta/VHS HI-FI soundtracks, etc.). It is a much better alternative compared to using your computer's soundcard because its built-in A-D and D-A converters are better and the electronics are quieter. At the same time, it's less expensive than most outboard A-D and D-A devices. The combined mic-in/line-in jack that so many competing digital recorders have is a major compromise because they often require an attenuator to sufficiently lower the recording level for recording line-level sources. By the time an attenuator is inserted into the signal path, the frequency response (tonal quality) may be altered.

Although the line-out and headphone jack are the same jack on the DR2D, it is fortunately not a sonic compromise. Hooking this jack into a preamp or receiver and turning the preamp's volume all the way up without music revealed no audible noise whatsoever! This is great news to me because it revealed that Tascam did not include a noisy headphone/line-out amplifier to defeat the purpose of its 96kHz, 24bit recording mode.

These numbers translate into recording/playback response extending to 40kHz (or more) with well over 120dB dynamic range. Just a few years ago, you'd have to pay thousands to buy any equipment with those specs but for less than $140, you can have it now. For the hardcore professional willing to pay a much higher price, he can buy a digital recorder with a 192kHz, 48bit recording mode. But with all else being equal, I doubt anyone can even detect a difference.

In audiophile terms, if I would describe the sound quality of the DR-2d, I'd say that it can reproduce virtually all the qualities of the original line source. I can't fault its ability to reproduce the subtle textures like horn and stringed-instruments as well as the ability to put out all the transient kick of a high-hat or bass pedal. If there is one thing the 96kHz, 24bit recording mode may do better than the 44.1kHz, 16bit mode it would be the ability to reproduce timbre/texture and the subtle decay of reverberation. Most high-end analog recorders can't do as well. But if there's one thing they might be better at, it is imaging and depth (separation). The differences are very subtle but I think I can detect a slight edge for high-end analog tape in this respect.

I have to say that the battery life initially seemed short but a firmware update seemed to have solved that issue.

In any case, for less than $140 what can you expect?! For the price, the build quality is great too. You just can't expect to throw it around and still see it work. But if you treat it in a reasonable manner, it will reward you with great sound and reliable operation in return.

The recorded files are awesome. I couldn't be more happy with the quality of the audio regardless of whether I use external mics, or the internal ones, or even my computer's audio output. This recorder gives back what you give it. I am especially pleased with how well the internal mics work to create stereo separation at live events. The built-in features that allow full control over audio levels (both record and playback) are engineered extremely well. Performance is definitely 5-stars but, read on to see why I downgraded it somewhat.

1st: Though understandable and NOT a reason NOT to buy, it is a power hog. After all, to power the A/D conversions and other features takes a huge toll on the batteries. Getting 2 hours from a set of 2 double-A's is what I've experienced on a good day. Usually, I change batteries after 1 hour if my recordings are going to be long and I don't want to risk the battery going dead. However, the optional power supply takes care of this issue at home in the studio. I downgraded the STAR rating because, under these circumstances, the recorder's weakness should be offset by INCLUDING the A/C adapter. The adapter is not just a optional nicety it's absolutely necessary !!

2nd (Most importantly): I love the flexibility of controlling record and playback options of gain, sensitivity, compression, etc. but with each recording environment, I have to go in and go through EVERY menu to be sure things are set back to what I know works. So, for example, live concerts have a whole set of parameters I like that are successful. Recording in a quiet classroom environment may require totally different settings. What would be EXTREMELY NICE is to be able to simply SAVE SETTINGS of standard situations. I have screwed up on several occasions when rushed to get it set up and simply overlook the fact that a feature was enabled or incorrectly set up.

I would give this 5-STARS even if #1 remained the same. (After all, I WANT the electronics being powered.) But, #2 is a firmware feature that could easily be programmed without adding to the hardware costs. This is something I believe TEAC may have overlooked.

Please ADD this firmware feature and issue an update to the firmware and I'll give this TASCAM DR-2d a big FAT 6-STAR REVIEW !!

3Com Audrey Web Appliance

3Com Audrey Web Appliance
  • Stand-alone Web browser works with your Internet service provider; get instant access to up to 12 preset Web channels and e-mail
  • Features a color touch screen and wireless keyboard
  • Organizer functions include datebook, memo pad, and address book
  • Synchronize date with 2 Palm OS-compatible devices
  • Includes internal 56 Kbps modem; broadband ready with optional 3Com USB Ethernet adapter

We have had our Audrey for about two weeks now. Our overall impression is a good one. The unit is sturdy and goes well with the decor in our kitchen where it is kept. The name is a bit odd, but you forget about it after a while. We believe that while it is not perfect, it is a good start for this type of product.

Installation is very easy and fast. Audrey was connected and running in a matter of minutes. User's guide is large and easy to follow. It is very non-technical. User's who have any technical questions beyond how to plug it in and set up a custome ISP will have to look elsewhere.

Browsing We did not purchase the Audrey for the purpose of browsing the internet. We thought this was a job better left to the computer in the upstairs office. Our reason for Audrey was to have quick access to email, a common shceduler, and a common address book. As it turns out we use it to surf a lot more than we ever thought. It really pales in comparison to using a PC for browsing, but the ease and speed of getting on the net, and the location in a central family place has caused a lot more use in this fashion than we ever expected.

EmailThis is where Audrey really pays off. Email that is simple, quick, and accessible. We have begun to really use email a lot more because of this. Audrey lets you know if you have email waiting by flashing. It has become second nature to look for the flashing light on Audrey just as we would our telephone answering machine. Email program is very simple and stripped down compared to outlook, but it serves its purpose and gets the job done efficiently.

Address and DatebookOnce again, simple and effective. Pick an email address from the address book, tap it, and up pops the email program addressed and ready to go. We find it very useful to have all this information located in one central area for the whole family to use. Audrey will sync to two different palms, but we haven't had a chance to try this feature yet.

Nothing is perfect. We have had a few problems with our unit. Twice it has locked up after an automatic download and left the modem connected until we arrived home in the evening. We only have one phone line in our home, so this could present quite a problem if someone is trying to call and leave a message. There are also channels that are updated online and then you are able to view these without connecting back to the internet. It is only fully successful here about half of the time. We are able to get the weather channel on all occasions, but things like ABC News, ESPN, and CBS Marketwatch are very unreliable.

Overall we are very pleased with our purchase. It serves our needs well when we want it to, and fits nicely in the background of the kithen when not in use. We purchased Audrey over the other choices of web appliance because it was smaller and you are able to choose your own access/email provider. No regrets at all. The only caveat that we would add is that we didn't buy this appliance as our only source to surf the net. If that had been the case our choice may have been different.

Buy 3Com Audrey Web Appliance Now

My family purchased an Audrey for the holidays. We plugged it in and got it set up. Set up, by the way, couldn't have been easier. We just hooked up th broadband adapter and turned it on. Set up took roughly 15 minutes. After that, we set up all the porgrams. Thge internet works great with one problem; NO JAVA SUPPORT! The other problem we had was that our Palm V's wouldn't sync. We had to reboot to get it to work. It's a good product for what it does. Now some of the less "techy" people can acsess the net with ease. However, 3com shouldn't have rushed it, cuz she has her quirks.

Read Best Reviews of 3Com Audrey Web Appliance Here

For some unknown reason, 3COM discontinued this web appliance only 5 months after it was released... so forget about getting support from 3COM... they no longer support this device and have even pulled support information from their website. The good news is that there is an entire on-line community devoted to customizing, tweaking and personalizing this web appliance.

I originally got this for my mother as an easy intro to the Internet. There is a wireless keyboard which works well, but it's a bit too small for adult human hands to type quickly with accuracy.

The stylus (when not in use) sticks in the top of the Audrey like a single antenna and it blinks green when a new e-mail has arrived.

You can surf the web and even view Flash movies as long as they are reverse complaint to 3.0 Flash viewers. To protect itself from malicious programs, the Audrey does not read Java, but it will read JavaScript. The underlying OS (operating system) is QNX which is like a mini flavor if Unix. Because it isn't some proprietary OS just for this one appliance, there are many support forums for QNX which allow you to further update this appliance.

My less than perfect rating comes from the fact that Audrey prefers to be on a LAN connection, whether it's DSL, Cable Modem or a company LAN... as long as the connection is on at all times. If you disconnect from your ISP and turn Audrey off, she'll turn herself back on in an hour or so (whenever she feels like waking up) and start calling your ISP.

There have been a number of times I've been talking to my mother on the phone when Audrey suddenly decided to wake up and send modem screeches on the phone while we were talking.

I currently have the Audrey in my home as I try to customize it by hacking into the shell and keep Audrey from behaving this way. In order to customize Audrey, you need to have a router (like the Linksys 4 port available here on Amazon.com) so you can spoof an IP address to make Audrey think she's connecting to 3COM when in fact she's connecting to another address to update her OS so that the shell can be accessed.

Without the hacking, Audrey can still serve as a great appliance. The touch screen isn't really meant for human fingers, but the stylus with it's soft rubber tip. You can connect to most "normal" ISPs with the exception of AOL, which uses a proprietary browser and can't be loaded into the Audrey. Currently, my Audrey is connected through Earthlink. If you're already a wiz at the Internet, this appliance will probably drive you nuts, but if you have a parent or another friend who is totally clueless and scared of computers, this is a fantastic intro to e-mail and the web.

The Audrey boasts 2 speakers and a microphone built-in as well as a note pad and calendar.

For the money, this is a very sophisticated device... and the fact that you can synch up your palm pilot to it is remarkable.

The Audrey has an internal modem and has a jack for your phone line as well as for an Ethernet connection and a single USB port so you can connect a printer.

The Audrey is light weight and takes up a very small footprint on a desk.

Want 3Com Audrey Web Appliance Discount?

I opened the box a scant few hours ago and I'm already in love. Sure, the keyboard takes some getting used to (it's kinda small) but the stylus and touch screen more than make up for it. It comes in five yummy colors (I opted for the creamy green). As for storing you data and syncing with your Palm ... top notch. And since Audrey updates herself daily I can only hope for more cool add ons.

The Audrey mainly worked, but Java and Realplayer pages don't work. Realaudio is OK, so it makes a great web radio. Email is OK but some attachments don't get through. Audrey is a great prototype, but it's not ready for prime time.

After many calls to 3com support I still couldn't get a Palm V to sync with it and so they decided that the serial port was faulty and asked me to return it for a replacement. That was four weeks ago! Calling their customer service is an adventure it's patchy at best. I'd wait for them to get their act together. Leon

Golla Bag G716 Catch Black for Iphone, Blackberry, Cell Phones, Ipods, Pda Phones and Digital Camera

Golla Bag G716 Catch Black for Iphone, Blackberry, Cell Phones, Ipods, Pda Phones and Digital Camera Case.
  • Pocket only case
  • No extra compartments
  • No carabiner or lanyard

Exactly what I hoped it would be.

It's not bulky at all, yet very protective.

My iPhone 4S has a thin Elago Slim Fit snap-on case in it. And with this case on my phone, the Golla pocket pouch bag fits PERFECTLY.

If you use any case except for a very thin snap on case, the bag would not work, so keep that in mind before ordering.

Thank you, Golla, for making this high quality, reasonably priced pocket pouch !!!

I hope you will also be making one for the new iPhone 5 that Apple will be announcing soon.

It works like it's supposed to. No complaints. The cord is long enough to connect to my other items, and having the two plugs separate, gives me better options for connecting other audio devices.

This is a well made and reasonably priced handheld mic adapter for select Yaesu radios. This allows the use of non-Yaesu mics with a VX-170 or FT-270R.

I bought this Speaker/mic adapter to be able to use my VX-7 with other brands push-to-talk microphone/earpieces. It doesn't work.

I've tested two brands: Motorola talkabout mic/earpiece fits, I can hear but I cant transmit. A Trisquare XRS mic/earpiece doesn't plugs completelly (its 2mm longer) and cant hear, as it continuously transmits.

Does what it is supposed to do, good fit, seal, and connection. Cable is a little stiff if you happen to live in Alaska and are using it at -40, other than that, great!

I am using this cable to connect my VX5 to a TinyTracker APRS unit. Seems to work well. I received the cable within a week and am ready to hit the road.

PDair Leather Case for Nokia N900 - Book Type (Black)

PDair Leather Case for Nokia N900 - Book Type
  • White stitch finishing, making this case look more beautiful.

Fits the Nokia N900 perfectly. Nice Quality. Nice magnetic clip. This case does not interfere with the use and capabilities of the N900. Worth the $28. It beats the $2 plastic covers hands down.

My Lumia didn't fit in it and I had to give it away. Wouldn't fit an iPhone either. Perhaps my fault for assuming something you should never do that the920 would be the same size as a 900.

The product is alright as far as quality is concerned but doesn't fit my phone. It is because of the piece of plastic sticking out from the side of the case (which is there to keep the phone in place). It probably is a manufacturing defect but nevertheless makes the case useless for me.

Want PDair Leather Case for Nokia N900 - Book Type (Black) Discount?

The case fits great and looks cool at the same time. The free shipment took 2 weeks to arrive to Mexico, which is very reasonable if you're not in a rush. Accessories for the N900 are not easy to come by and this one is definitely worth it.

The case fits perfectly with the Nokia N900 and great quality. The phone does come out rather easily (my phone fell to ground, luckily it didn't cause any permanent damage) if you're not careful. I think this is one of the better phone cases there is out there and I'm definitely happy with the purchase. One thing is the clip tends to unscrew after a while, so be mindful about it and tighten it every once in a while. I've had mine unscrew at lest a handful of times since buying it. The shipments took a while so if you're in a rush, this might not be the vendor for you. If you don't mind the wait, it's worth it. Overall a great case.

Delkin Pop-Up LCD Shade 2.5" Black

Delkin Pop-Up LCD Shade 2.5' Black
  • Fits 2.5" LCD screens
  • Blocks sun-glare when viewing pictures outside.
  • Protects LCD screen from damage and scratches
  • Easy to attach and remove.

I agree with Jim's June 2009 review of this product. The prices are all over the place and I can't figure out why. I just ordered 2 more @ $6.99 each with free shipping from an Amazon.com vendor. Other prices here are up to $25.00. Why???

My pkg also had a $24.99 retailer price tag on the package. Keep your receipt and package insert info. The item's packaging insert says there is a 2 yr. warranty. I have read of issues with the plastic wings and hinges. I assume this would be covered under warranty.

I plan to be gentle with mine and I think it will last. It certainly does the job. I tried a Flipbac and cannot figure out what the value is in that product. If you don't take pictures from low or odd angles, I think it is worthless. And.....since a mirror is involved, all the info on your camera's LCD screen is reversed.....Try reading "turn on flash" backwards.....

This product makes it easier to see my camera's LCD screen in the sun and that's just what I needed !

delivery was fast and product was okay. the 2 parts disconnect too easily and I lost the cover already.

I have had to replace my Delkin sunscreen 2-3 times, as the little "feet" eventually break off with lots of use--still they are well worth it. I just bought several so I'll have a replacement handy. They are very effective in permitting one to see the LCD screen in sunlight and on bright days.

I had a tough time finding this model at Amazon. It doesn't show up on the list that's presented first, but finally as an "also considered" some pages later. The silver model is being sold up front, with this one in the rear. The prices were all over the place for what looks identical. This was called a "Universal 2.5" shade", but mine was marked "Canon EOS SD". My camera screen is close enough for the sticky parts to find a surface, but a 2.7" would be closer to the actual frame dimensions. This will do the job and seems easy enough to snap off for indoor shooting, but I don't know how many times it will come off without pulling the frame off with it. Another confusion was the prices I found at Amazon. The price tag (apparently store stock) was $24.99 and the price online was $6.99 with free shipping. Look before you leap and find what you're looking for or pay the price.

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case for Acer AC700 Chromebook 11.6-Inch Laptop (Black / Pink)

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case for Acer AC700 Chromebook 11.6-Inch LaptopI got the new Acer Chromebook so naturally I needed a case. After looking as hundreds of different cases I decided to purchase the rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case. This case is absolutely perfect and exceeded my expectations. The price is very reasonable. It is not bulky which allows for easy carrying &/or travel. The bubble inside gives excellent protection. The front pocket is big enough to hold a charger and mouse. I have been extremely satisfied with this rooCASE and highly recommend it for those who what a great, inexpensive, practical case.

Becareful how you put this into the sleeve, so it doesnt sllip out. However this has enough cushion so if youbump it or hit it on a wall you dont have to worry.

This is good and protective, however I unzipped it in the wrong position and my Chromebook slipped out fast (the inside is super super slippery!) and broke. More my fault than the cases fault, but still. I am heartbroken. Just make sure the opening is upright when you unzip it!

First of all, I want to say that the pink color on the picture made me hesitate to buy it. I don't like hot pinks or magentas. I ripped open the package and pulled out the case and fell in love with it immediately. The pink color on the top and for the small pouch is a light baby pink, which LOVE! The inside of the big pocket is the same color even though the picture makes it seem lighter. The little zippered pouch is perfect for putting my ear-buds and phone inside of, but maybe not my charger. The case fits a little loose on my 11.6 inch Samsung Chromebook, but only by maybe an inch. My dad said it was so cool and he was jealous and would try to get the blue one for his laptop.

Some people say that the case smelled bad when it came, but it just smells a tiny bit like rubber and plastic from the factory, which I happen to love that smell, too.

I walk around with it all the time and love it.

There's another version of this for about half the price that looks really similar but, when you look close to the photo, you can see that it doesn't look like it's very high quality. That's why I went with this case, and am totally happy with it. It's durable, has good cushioning, and the design looks clean and quality. The wife is happy with her new case :-)

Premium Black Leather case sold by unitedintegral is a total waste of $12.57. The case does not fit very well and feels like a cheap cardboard cover with faux leather.
