Lexmark 200XL Black Cartridge

Lexmark 200XL Black Cartridge
  • OEM quality for long-lasting performance
  • Vizix technology for vibrant color
  • Quick to install and simple to replace

This product produces many many pages per cartridge compared with my other canon printers. The cost per page is very low, probably less than 2 cents per page low which is excellent for a non laser printer. the print quality is excellent and I have had no clogs. sharp deep black. A downside is that once it reaches a certain level of ink the printer will quit printing. period. you are done until you buy another. and the cartridge still contains some ink which is annoying. you don't get to use everything you paid for and you have no choice! also I have not figured out where i'm supposed to return the product to recycle it, it's not obvious how you are supposed to participate in their recycle programI think you are supposed to get a small refund for the return of the cartridge, but the details of how to do this are not obvious from the package so I may wind up throwing it out and loosing any refund. Over all though one of the better buys around. one star off for the unfair printer shut off until you buy an new cartridge trick, and for the unclear cartridge return policy.

The cartridge works fine, although as with most printers the cost of the ink has eclipsed the cost of the printer. Why is this stuff so expensive?

Want Lexmark 200XL Black Cartridge Discount?

Lexmark ink is not cheap, but this is the best price I've found. The good news is that the ink cartridges on my Lexmark PowerEdge Pro are ridiculously easy to swap out and my printer prints a lot of pages with each cartridge. also, Lexmark has a recycling program and will send a postage paid envelope to allow the old cartridge to be returned. Great idea and a great product.

Topscan Scanner Reading Pen, Handheld Pen Scanner Text Scanner and Text Reader, Scan Text Directly t

Topscan Scanner Reading Pen, Handheld Pen Scanner Text Scanner and Text Reader, Scan Text Directly to the Computer with Extra Features Great Gift
  • TopScan www.text-scanner.com , simply slide the TopScan Handheld scanner over the printed text
  • scans 1000 words per minute
  • free features such as Text to speech: you scan the computer will speak, and free language support.
  • With the text-to-speech (TTS) feature included with TopScanTM you can scan a word or sentence
  • Scans formulas, hand-writing or foreign texts in their original style and appearance

I bought this scanner to replace a spare Ectaco C-Pen 20 Handheld Scanner that had hit the floor one too many times. The scanmarker is much cheaper less well built, and the actual OCR (Optical Character Recognition) function is pitiful in comparison to the CPen. The one function which does make great sense and works well is the text to speech which allows you to scan chunks of text and to hear whether the text has made it in OK. Unfortunately, the OCR itself is so bad that any time saved by the text to speech function is lost due to the extensive corrections which must be made to the scanned text for it to be readable.

AMAZING UPDATE: I was contacted by the founder of Topscan on 2.14.11 in response to this review! The problems I experienced are a known issue which the company is in the process of resolving. The problem is that if you scan too much text, the "buffer" gets full and the algorithm does not work well. This explanation precisely matches the issues I was having. The first two or three lines would always scan perfectly, but then a bunch of garbage would seep in making the rest of the scan unusable. If you only scan a few lines at a time or scan slowly, this product will work well for you, and it is much more affordable than the CPEN.

I bought this scanner and found it to be a fantastic product and great value for money. I previously have owned a similar scanner which cost more than 3 times the price and called cpen and found this to be much better and easier to use.

It is now over a year since I purchased this product and due to my business and study needs use it every day. I take it every day to the office and scan documents wherever they are without the need to bring them to a scanner. I highly recommend this to anyone which needs easy or heavy scanning. Very reliable amd credible. I especially use the text to speech feature which reads out loud e ery wrd I scan. Super cool!!!

This review originally appeared in the other listing for Topscan ScanMarker product.

************************************************************************************

I've owned this device for 10 days now. I purchased it because of 1) the price and 2) the high praise it had received elsewhere on the net.

Unfortunately for me, it has worked a total of ten minutes. You heard correctly, 10 minutes, if that long.

I received the item from Amazon on Friday afternoon (7/15). I installed the software that came on the disk on Monday (7/18). From the start, the installation told me that one of the .dlls installed from the disk was not meant to work with Windows and that I should contact someone for help.

Being an enterprising person, I went to the Topscan site and downloaded the updated software and installed it. Everything seemed to install correctly. I was able to open the software application. I was able to connect the device and I thought: "This is good!"

Unfortunately, when I tried to actually scan something into a Word document, all I kept getting was a message that the device reported an error. It didn't even scan an image of what I was trying to copy!

At that point, I contacted the support people at Topscan. To their credit, someone did contact me trying to get more information to troubleshoot my problem the same day.

In the interim, I restored my system to a point before I had installed the software from the disk accompanying the scanner and had installed the new (downloaded) software and at that point, the scanner worked for a bit, until I disconnected it from the USB port. You see, I was traveling and only had 3 USB ports available. So, I made the fatal mistake of disconnecting the ScanMarker device from the USB port that it had been connected to.

A day later, I in my naivette, I plugged the device back into a USB port again expecting that it would work. Much to my chagrin, the only thing that worked was the error message telling me the device reported an error. This was early on Friday (7/22) and I reported the problem with the ScanMarker device. This timeI made sure to send the supporting information that support had requested earlier. Today is 7/25 and I have not heard from anyone at TopScan support.

Needless to say, I am sending this item back to Amazon. I am not spending $80 for a piece of useless equipment. I am going to purchase a competitor's product.

In case you are interested, this item was installed on a HP dv4 notebook with Windows 7, 64-bit OS and 4 GB of installed RAM. The drivers do not report a problem on the device manager.

************************************************************************************************

Update on review 8/1/11

It took a couple of weeks but the support people at Topscan worked on my problem and fixed it. As it turns out, the CD shipped with the product was defective and it corrupted the driver for the scanner. Deleting the installation and re-installing the updated software did not fix the problem.

Through the persistence of the person in support I worked with (yes, during the whole time I worked with a single individual. How neat is that?)they were able to get a solution for me. It entailed deleting the driver from the Device Manager and reinstalling it manually. Since then, I've had no problems with the scanner.

I give Topscan the company five stars for their top-notch support. Note that they are shipping updated CDs to all their resellers.

So why only 4 stars? Because the scanner itself still seems to have some problems with character recognition. It could be "pilot error" in my handling of it. But it is seems to be quite picky about the speed that is used and the kind of contrast that the page being scanned has as well as the type.

I use it for capturing material resulting from research to be used in papers and other written materials and would like to have 100% accuracy. Maybe that is not possible, however, I do think there is some room for improvement in the results I am getting. That is why only 4 stars.

********************************************************************************************************************

Update on review: 5/4/12

Well, after the fix on my old laptop, the pen worked well...until I decided to get a new laptop. I now have an Asus i7-2640M processor with 8GB of Ram and still running Windows 7 64 bit OS.

I, again thinking that this hardware would install, downloaded the newest version of the software from the Scanmaker website. Tried to install and am getting a fatal error message that there is an access violation at xxxx address in module 'DetectScanner.exe'. I've written to support again but have not heard anything.

Think I am going to take my loses and buy something else.

Product is probably the best out there for the money but is not very easy to use. I wanted to order this also for my special ed kids, but this product is too hard to use.

My hands even with a highlighter is never straight. Also if I lower the speed the scanner does not recognize the words. The image feature is one line at a time so pictures are not possible or visualized well. I can not really use it for what I had anticipated.

Scanmarker has become an indispensable tool for my research work. I check out many books from interlibrary loan and from my university, and the ability to scan in notes has been a real time saver. I highly recommend Scanmarker to my students as well, making sure that they include all the essential citation information with all scanned entries. It's been very helpful.

I buy REALOOK screen proctors for all my electronics because they are very high quality and do what they're supposed to do. The price is a little steep, but they will protect your device's screen as well as make it look nice a shiny while reducing glare. The only gripe I have with it is that the directions for installation aren't the clearest and as all screen protectors, they are really difficult to put on without getting some dust or fingerprints underneath. I have managed to do it only once flawlessly.

Clip Case with Tech Grip

Clip Case with Tech GripThe case is a bit stiff, which is great for protecting the ipad. However, I've already noticed that the corners are not staying close to the edges of the I-Pad. You will want to keep an eye on this so you it doesn't slide out of the case.

This case is slim and provides good protection for my 4th Generation iPad (also fits iPad 2 and 3). The textured rubber case is stiff, yet has a good feel and is easy to hold... a nice feature since the iPad is very slippery without a cover. The case lets the user to set it at different angles, allowing typing on the iPad without a keyboard. Works fairly well in the lap, but sometimes the stand collapses. Would like to see deeper grooves.

I bought the cobalt blue. Colorful, yet professional when I visit clients. All things considered, a good value.

APC PTEL2R 0.20-0.25kA Dataline Protector
  • RJ11/45

Overall the unit does a great job of protecting standard analog voice services, but anyone utilizing DSL should exercise caution. Although the unit is listed as being compatible with DSL services, I've discovered that it does increase the attenuation on the line. This can cause problems for DSL users who are on the "fringe" of coverage from their provider. APC sent me a replacement device, but the replacement device exhibited the same behavior.

iGadgitz Black 'Portfolio' Genuine Leather Case Cover for Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 10.1" Andro

iGadgitz Black 'Portfolio' Genuine Leather Case Cover for Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 10.1' Android Tablet
  • Custom designed to fit Asus Eee Pad with contoured cut-outs for the Tablets ports and features
  • Incorporates 2 angle stands. 1 for viewing and 1 for typing
  • Magnet free cover design means all compass related navigation features will still work accurately!
  • Slim line portfolio design gives your tablet executive styling with little added bulk
  • Made from quality genuine leather

I don't usually review items but I've seen some less than `great reviews for Igadgitz. I did a bunch of research before this purchase... sure this is a basic case one that has seen a foundation of remakes across the case making companies, but this particular case is slightly different.

--> Pluses+

1) no magnets are used on this case. 2) Made with quality leather that is sure to last. 3) Case fits snug around TF101 without blockage of both cameras. 3) The case stands solid in both directions. You can even flatten it out when not in use. 4) The elastic strap can be used to hold the case cover when not in use = allowing you to hold tightly around the case, without worrying about the cover flapping or slipping out.

--> Cons-

The only con is that the cover when closed has no cutout for charging... meaning it must be opened. It's not a real issue I could either cut it out myself or take it to a leather shop.

Over all a superb case. Minimal + well executed.

Wireless USB HandHeld Finger Trackball Mouse with Laser Pointer

Wireless USB HandHeld Finger Trackball Mouse with Laser PointerTotally love this toy. Use it for doing lots of point and click applications. Not so great for using all the time because it requires a lot of fine motor skills. I love to pick it up and use the roller ball and the trigger as the left click. The laser is red and pretty good. I have a small (12'x36') conference room I use it in with 2 computers and it's fine. There is a little magnet under the trigger where the small USB dongle stays so I don't lose it, which is great. I like the little black pouch it comes with also. It keeps the device, dongle, and charging cable all togther. The other great thing about this is the scrolling wheel. Really, whether presentation or just working on a lot of mouse oriented things (building diagrams in Vizio or Packet Tracer), it works out well. Battery life is pretty sweet too. The reviews about it disconnecting, yeah I guess it does, but that doesn't bother me a lot. The little connect button is near my trigger finger and I don't find it annoying but some people might. Also, the review regarding hand cramping, yes, I'm sure it's capable of that if this was all you used for a while, but I usually use it while and don't get fixed into a stationary motion so I have not experienced the cramping, but I could also see how that would be possible.

I use this device both as a mouse and as a presentation remote or clicker and it's great. It's also a great talking piece amongst geeks. Really like this.

This product is simply outstanding! It can be used for on the go lap top work...on the train commute...or in the field for business, etc.. .

I like its' ease of use and the fact that it does NOT need batteries. My old mouse needed batteries...this model, you simply plug into a USB to charge internal battery.

Two thumbs up!

Buy Wireless USB HandHeld Finger Trackball Mouse with Laser Pointer Now

I loved the concept of this product: a laser pointer + an ergonomic mouse + a cordless presentation gadget. After using it, a few downsides have bubbled to the surface. The usb dongle is pleasantly small, but it fell out of the packaging, and I almost lost it/stepped on it seconds after opening the box. The sync/connection was clumsy. I had to wait for the drivers to install themselves, restart my machine, plug the powercord back into the mouse, and press the connect button repeatedly before the mouse would work. I have to do the last two steps every time I plug in the dongle. A power on/off switch would be nice, help to conserve power, and would incorporate well with the addition of a place to hold the usb dongle: dongle in means off; dongle out means on. The laser pointer is great, and works until the mouse's battery is almost kaput. The buttons are responsive, but the trackball stutters. There is a green light that changes from blinking to solid when charging is done (maybe?) and to red when it needs charging. I think I'm going to get the arc touch mouse and just stick with my Logitech R400 (which HAS a place for the usb dongle AND an on/off switch) for presentations. This guy's going into the failed gadget drawer.

Want Wireless USB HandHeld Finger Trackball Mouse with Laser Pointer Discount?

My carpel tunnel syndrome was being aggravated by the position of the bellybutton on the laptop from the buttons. I tried a bunch of corded and wireless mice. This one works well for me. I am right handed, but can mouse easily with the left. If you are looking for ultra-precision, this is not the mouse you want, but if you just want to take some stress off of your carpel tunnel nerves, this one works very nicely. It also seems to have a decent range from the machine, and others have commented on its use as a pretty good tool for giving a talk. I can't respond to that, as I've not had to use it for that. Although, while I don't have a cat, the laser pointer seems like it could come in really handy.

Battery for Palm M150, M155, Zire 21, Zire 22

Battery for Palm M150, M155, Zire 21, Zire 22
  • Capacity: 650mAh
  • Brand New
  • Replacement Battery

Great price, performs as advertised, easy to install; who could ask for more? This is the second battery replacement in the long life of my Palm Z22 PDA with which I am very satisfied until a smart phone that I can't resist comes along. Anyone shying away because of uncertainty about what's involved in making the replacement should know that the only "skill" required is the soldering of just two simple wires once the PDA back is removed, which is very easy. If you're like me and really like your "stone age" device, this is a good way to extend its useful life.

BoxWave Capacitive Amazon Kindle Fire Stylus - Works for All Kindle Touch Screen Devices - Kindle Fi

BoxWave Capacitive Amazon Kindle Fire Stylus - Works for All Kindle Touch Screen Devices - Kindle Fire HD 7 inch, Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch, Kindle Fire, Kindle Touch, Kindle PaperwhiteCapacitive styluses are not all alike. Besides color, there are subtle differences in sensitivity, length, barrel size, weight, and attachment clips or lanyards. This beautiful BoxWave stylus, which is 4" long (exclusive of the capacitive tip) is an excellent, responsive stylus.

Compared to other styluses that I tested, this BoxWave stylus is short, has a wide barrel (wider than a pencil but narrower than a pen), and is light in weight. I love the metallic red color, and the sensitivity and responsiveness of the capacitive tip. Because of the wider barrel, the tip is wider, and is not as accurate as some others for selecting small targets (e.g., links displayed in web browsers in tiny fonts). However, pinpoint accuracy isn't important if you can enlarge the display on your touchscreen device. Because I have large hands, I would prefer a longer stylus, but the overall performance of this stylus makes up for what it lacks in length.

This stylus has a pocket clip, and a removable lanyard with a plastic tip that can be plugged into an earphones outlet to attach it to a touchscreen device. Besides this stylus, I tested the MiniSuit Universal Capacitive Stylus Pen, the BoxWave Slimline Kindle Fire Stylus, the Targus Stylus for Apple iPad, the AmazonBasics Stylus for Touchscreen Devices, and the rooCASE Capacitive (Red) Stylus for Apple iPad 2 / Amazon Kindle Fire Android Tablet. My favorite is the AmazonBasics Stylus, because of its 4-1/4" length, slim barrel, light weight, and excellent sensitivity. However, I also rate this stylus at 5 stars ("I love it"), because I like it nearly as well as the AmazonBasics stylus. Another good choice is the very slightly less sensitive rooCase Stylus.

In case you're wondering, as I was, what a "capacitive" stylus is, it is a human interface device (e.g., a mouse) that uses "capacitive sensing" to measure changes of position on a touchscreen. It works just like a human finger on a touchscreen device, and you can often get more accurate navigation using a stylus. Wikipedia has good articles on capacitive sensing and capacitive devices.

On a whim, I purchased this stylus to use on my kindle fire since I'm now having to type with an on screen keyboard. Wow! What a difference this makes in the speed of my typing. The screen stays cleaner, as well, since you're not sliding greasy fingers over it. It's also useful if you're a game player...no more "oops!", wrong answer because of fat fingers. My husband uses it on his cell phone screen. We both agree, well worth the price....an unexpected treasure!

Buy BoxWave Capacitive Amazon Kindle Fire Stylus - Works for All Kindle Touch Screen Devices - Kindle Fi Now

This is my first time using a capacitive stylus, so unlike the first reviewer I have nothing to compare this one to. I bought it prior to the arrival of my new Kindle Fire, mainly because of the price and the color. When using the stylus, the touch screen on the Fire responds instantly and without need to repeat "taps". My iTouch is a bit less responsive to it, but I did not purchase it to use with the iTouch, so not a problem. It has a good balanced weight and I tend to hold it in my hand even while reading. Clips easily onto the case or the end inserts into the earphone jack. Very pleased with this, especially given the $10 price tag.

I got this for my wife, so I bought a more expensive one believing it would be an upgrade over the other offers. I got her Crimson Red as it looked the best from the photo. When we received it, the first thing we noticed is that it was pink, not red as the image and name led us to believe. It was written as Crimson Red, but in real life, it looks more like hot pink. To make matters worse, my wife noticed that the paint started staining her fingers pink. So, for substantially more money, we got a stylus that was the wrong color and the paint comes off on your hand.

However, we gave it two stars as it works great. As a pure stylus, it gets the job done.

I would not buy again.

3Com Audrey Web Appliance

3Com Audrey Web Appliance
  • Stand-alone Web browser works with your Internet service provider; get instant access to up to 12 preset Web channels and e-mail
  • Features a color touch screen and wireless keyboard
  • Organizer functions include datebook, memo pad, and address book
  • Synchronize date with 2 Palm OS-compatible devices
  • Includes internal 56 Kbps modem; broadband ready with optional 3Com USB Ethernet adapter

We have had our Audrey for about two weeks now. Our overall impression is a good one. The unit is sturdy and goes well with the decor in our kitchen where it is kept. The name is a bit odd, but you forget about it after a while. We believe that while it is not perfect, it is a good start for this type of product.

Installation is very easy and fast. Audrey was connected and running in a matter of minutes. User's guide is large and easy to follow. It is very non-technical. User's who have any technical questions beyond how to plug it in and set up a custome ISP will have to look elsewhere.

Browsing We did not purchase the Audrey for the purpose of browsing the internet. We thought this was a job better left to the computer in the upstairs office. Our reason for Audrey was to have quick access to email, a common shceduler, and a common address book. As it turns out we use it to surf a lot more than we ever thought. It really pales in comparison to using a PC for browsing, but the ease and speed of getting on the net, and the location in a central family place has caused a lot more use in this fashion than we ever expected.

EmailThis is where Audrey really pays off. Email that is simple, quick, and accessible. We have begun to really use email a lot more because of this. Audrey lets you know if you have email waiting by flashing. It has become second nature to look for the flashing light on Audrey just as we would our telephone answering machine. Email program is very simple and stripped down compared to outlook, but it serves its purpose and gets the job done efficiently.

Address and DatebookOnce again, simple and effective. Pick an email address from the address book, tap it, and up pops the email program addressed and ready to go. We find it very useful to have all this information located in one central area for the whole family to use. Audrey will sync to two different palms, but we haven't had a chance to try this feature yet.

Nothing is perfect. We have had a few problems with our unit. Twice it has locked up after an automatic download and left the modem connected until we arrived home in the evening. We only have one phone line in our home, so this could present quite a problem if someone is trying to call and leave a message. There are also channels that are updated online and then you are able to view these without connecting back to the internet. It is only fully successful here about half of the time. We are able to get the weather channel on all occasions, but things like ABC News, ESPN, and CBS Marketwatch are very unreliable.

Overall we are very pleased with our purchase. It serves our needs well when we want it to, and fits nicely in the background of the kithen when not in use. We purchased Audrey over the other choices of web appliance because it was smaller and you are able to choose your own access/email provider. No regrets at all. The only caveat that we would add is that we didn't buy this appliance as our only source to surf the net. If that had been the case our choice may have been different.

Buy 3Com Audrey Web Appliance Now

My family purchased an Audrey for the holidays. We plugged it in and got it set up. Set up, by the way, couldn't have been easier. We just hooked up th broadband adapter and turned it on. Set up took roughly 15 minutes. After that, we set up all the porgrams. Thge internet works great with one problem; NO JAVA SUPPORT! The other problem we had was that our Palm V's wouldn't sync. We had to reboot to get it to work. It's a good product for what it does. Now some of the less "techy" people can acsess the net with ease. However, 3com shouldn't have rushed it, cuz she has her quirks.

Read Best Reviews of 3Com Audrey Web Appliance Here

For some unknown reason, 3COM discontinued this web appliance only 5 months after it was released... so forget about getting support from 3COM... they no longer support this device and have even pulled support information from their website. The good news is that there is an entire on-line community devoted to customizing, tweaking and personalizing this web appliance.

I originally got this for my mother as an easy intro to the Internet. There is a wireless keyboard which works well, but it's a bit too small for adult human hands to type quickly with accuracy.

The stylus (when not in use) sticks in the top of the Audrey like a single antenna and it blinks green when a new e-mail has arrived.

You can surf the web and even view Flash movies as long as they are reverse complaint to 3.0 Flash viewers. To protect itself from malicious programs, the Audrey does not read Java, but it will read JavaScript. The underlying OS (operating system) is QNX which is like a mini flavor if Unix. Because it isn't some proprietary OS just for this one appliance, there are many support forums for QNX which allow you to further update this appliance.

My less than perfect rating comes from the fact that Audrey prefers to be on a LAN connection, whether it's DSL, Cable Modem or a company LAN... as long as the connection is on at all times. If you disconnect from your ISP and turn Audrey off, she'll turn herself back on in an hour or so (whenever she feels like waking up) and start calling your ISP.

There have been a number of times I've been talking to my mother on the phone when Audrey suddenly decided to wake up and send modem screeches on the phone while we were talking.

I currently have the Audrey in my home as I try to customize it by hacking into the shell and keep Audrey from behaving this way. In order to customize Audrey, you need to have a router (like the Linksys 4 port available here on Amazon.com) so you can spoof an IP address to make Audrey think she's connecting to 3COM when in fact she's connecting to another address to update her OS so that the shell can be accessed.

Without the hacking, Audrey can still serve as a great appliance. The touch screen isn't really meant for human fingers, but the stylus with it's soft rubber tip. You can connect to most "normal" ISPs with the exception of AOL, which uses a proprietary browser and can't be loaded into the Audrey. Currently, my Audrey is connected through Earthlink. If you're already a wiz at the Internet, this appliance will probably drive you nuts, but if you have a parent or another friend who is totally clueless and scared of computers, this is a fantastic intro to e-mail and the web.

The Audrey boasts 2 speakers and a microphone built-in as well as a note pad and calendar.

For the money, this is a very sophisticated device... and the fact that you can synch up your palm pilot to it is remarkable.

The Audrey has an internal modem and has a jack for your phone line as well as for an Ethernet connection and a single USB port so you can connect a printer.

The Audrey is light weight and takes up a very small footprint on a desk.

Want 3Com Audrey Web Appliance Discount?

I opened the box a scant few hours ago and I'm already in love. Sure, the keyboard takes some getting used to (it's kinda small) but the stylus and touch screen more than make up for it. It comes in five yummy colors (I opted for the creamy green). As for storing you data and syncing with your Palm ... top notch. And since Audrey updates herself daily I can only hope for more cool add ons.

The Audrey mainly worked, but Java and Realplayer pages don't work. Realaudio is OK, so it makes a great web radio. Email is OK but some attachments don't get through. Audrey is a great prototype, but it's not ready for prime time.

After many calls to 3com support I still couldn't get a Palm V to sync with it and so they decided that the serial port was faulty and asked me to return it for a replacement. That was four weeks ago! Calling their customer service is an adventure it's patchy at best. I'd wait for them to get their act together. Leon

Great product. Just installed it into a small form factor Dell Optiplex 780. It worked perfectly right out of the box, and it is now powering four older Dell monitors. It's a great value because it includes four mini DisplayPort to DVI adapters which allows you to easily connect with DVI to any older monitors (non-DisplayPort) that you want to include in your multi-monitor setup. The ATI drivers are easy and offer many, many configuration options. Great deal. Love it!

Scosche privaSEE Screen Protector for iPad 2 (FPD2P)

Scosche privaSEE Screen Protector for iPad 2
  • 1 Privacy screen protector for iPad 2
  • Polarized film helps keep your information protected
  • 1 Pack
  • 1 Privacy screen protector for iPad 2.
  • Includes micro-fiber cleaning cloth
  • Screen Protector for iPad

The Scosche privacy, excuse me, PrivaSEE filter is a great screen protector for your iPad 2. As far as being a privacy filter, it lacks severely. I have a different brand of privacy filter for my iPad 1 and it works extremely well. Unless you are within a small window in front of the iPad you can't see the screen whether they are holding the device landscape or portrait wise. The Scosche however only works when your holding it in portrait mode which, for me, I rarely do. Even when holding it in portrait, the window angle for actually seeing the screen is far greater than that of the other privacy filter that I own for my iPad 1. It doesn't "black-out" the screen, just merely blurs it. So people can still tell what you're doing, just not exactly what you're doing.

I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a privacy filter. They are all priced as much as this one, just look elsewhere and get a better quality one.

Buy Scosche privaSEE Screen Protector for iPad 2 (FPD2P) Now

For the money, I'd say it's overpriced. Right after I bought this, a brand-name company started advertising their privacy screen at a much more reasonable price. Too late for me.

But this works so I'm happy enough. Be advised this is only a 2 way filter which means it's most effective screen blurring is when you are using your iPad 2 in portrait mode, meaning folks to your left or right sides will have trouble seeing your screen when you are holding your iPad with the home button at the bottom.

It does not completely blacken out the screen the way some other privacy filters do. But it blurs your screen enough to make it difficult for nosy bodies to view your screen.

Would I recommend this? Totally, if the price were more competitive.

Final note, Amazon shipped this in a flat box which is needed because my previous attempts at buying a privacy filter did not work out because the vendor used bubble padded envelopes, not strong enough to prevent the post office from damaging the item. If you can ask ahead of time how the item is shipped, do so.

The rooCASE Neoprene Sleeve Case Cover for HP EliteBook 2560p is well made and fits the HP ELitebook 2560 snugly without needing to stretch it. The case provides a layer of neoprene shock and scratch protection whilst not adding much weight or bulk. Not particularly pretty so loses its 5th star there, but it is effective and practical. Perfect for slipping inside my briefcase. Recommended, I would buy it again.

BestDealUSA 3.6V 2400mAh Battery Pack for Sony PSP Slim 2000 3000Cover wouldnt fit, it was too thick, even though it was advertised to fit the model number for my PSP. I give this a thumbs down.

This is a pretty good deal for this type of battery. I've used it for over a month now and it lasts as long as others I've purchased.

I own this charger and have used it several times. Whether I was at an all day music festival, a day of sightseeing, or just out running errands on a normal day, I make sure I always pack my Cables to Go portable USB charger. It is nice not to have to worry about my cell phone dying when I need it the most, and also to have the piece of mind that I will able to stay connected to the world, no matter where I am.

This charger is portable enough to throw in my purse, diaper bag, or backpack and not take up any space, and I can charge my phone at least 3 times before I need to plug the device in again.

This product is a lifesaver and a must have item for the person on the go!
