RII Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard (Built-in TouchPad/Laser Pointer) - Black
Pairing Android:
1) Turn on the keyboard and long press the bluetooth key on the top left till the indicator light starts blinking
2) Click scan for devices on your Android device
3) Select the newly found Macro Keyboard
4) Enter "0000" as the pairing code on your android
5) Enter "0000" and then the "Enter" key on the keyboard to complete the pairing process.
When pairing with Windows 7 if your Bluetooth drivers create a pairing code automatically for you just enter the code shown in Windows on the keyboard followed by the enter key (or just type whatever pairing code you want in Windows and repeat it on the keyboard).
All-in-all this is a great little keyboard. I would have given it 5 stars if it did actually come with the android drivers and had better documentation.
I'm looking for a driver that will create a visual mouse cursor on my Droid X to make better use of the touchpad. If I find one I'll post it here!
Also, to go back a page in Android hit the Esc key not the Back key... just fyi...I bought the ProMini wireless keyboard to control my "low tech media center". I say low tech because my media center is just a spare computer hidden in my entertainment center connected to my big screen tv.
For this the wireless keyboard works PERFECTLY! I can watch streaming videos from the internet on the big screen while lying on the couch.
*** Note ***
THE PROMINI BLUETOOTH WIRELESS KEYBOARD COMES WITH A BLUETOOTH ADAPTER.
It doesn't say this in the description or in the documentation. The manual mentions an "optional" bluetooth adapter. It's embedded in the side of the keyboard.
Unfortunately I found it a couple of hours AFTER I ordered the bluetooth adapter recommended to buy with the keyboard. Too late to cancel the order.

***UPDATE: So I've been using this thing for a couple of months now and I really have to say that the range that they are claiming is just a farce. As long as you have a direct line of site and don't cover up the antenna (which is located above the track pad) then you might get 20 feet, but it's very doubt full. you'll start getting a lot of miss-keys and the track pad becomes almost useless. However, this is the only feature that I think was over stated. The rest is absolutely perfect and I just bought another one. Just please don't think that it will work through walls or from more than 10-12 feet. *****I'm writimg this review usimg my new Rii Mini. First there seems to be a little confusion about the name of this product. the description calls it a ProMini, on the web you will find it referred to as the MagicPro Mini and the box it comes in calls it the Rii Mini. So for the purposes of this review I'm just goimg to refer to it as the Rii.
next, just as a piece of background, i got this for use with my HTPC. my monitor is my 46" plasma in my livingroom and i wanted something that would mean i didnt have juggle my mouse and keayboard around on the couch.
Lets talk about the CONS first, because that list is much shorter.
RANGE: so i found that the "30" feet claim is pretty much bupkiss, but who can see from 30 feet? at a range of about 10-12, the distance from my couch to my TV it works like a dream.
SIZE: this is both a pro and a con. i love how small it is but the placement of the trackpad on the right make typimg very difficult unless you an avid txt'er, which i am, so ive adapted pretty quickly. but its definitely something that could have been better thought out. also, the trackpad is just a shade too small so there's a lot of repositioning. finally, im not proof readimg this review because im illustrating the point that if you're going to be typimg a great deal, you're prolly goimg to end up with som significant typos.
BACK-LIGHT: finally, i have very little bad to say about the backlight. it just needs a timer and most importantly YOUR BACKLIGHT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU ARE OUT OF RANGE OF THE BLUTOOTH RECEIVER... no its not defective, its just made that way. im really glad i figured that out before trying to return it.
Now to the pros.... all i can do is say i really love this thing. the backlight makes it perfect for use in the dark, im kind of a cave dwelling techno nerd so i never have any lights on. the buttons on the keyboard are big enough and resposive enough to accomodate even the largest fingers, my friend "tiny" who is 6'7 was able to use it passably. i love that it works just like a normal keyboard. if you hit alt+F4, it closes windows just like its supposed to and Ctrl+c and +v copy and past just like they should. Alt+Tab works perfectly as well.
the built in media keys seem to work great with VLC, i never use WMP because its the devil. the track pad is actually pretty well made. its a little touchy and does have a built in acceleration. but once you adapt to it, its really pretty nice. you just have to get used to the fact that you're going to be using two hands for a lot of things. the 90 degree flip is kinda neat too. not sure its really usefull unless youre presenting, but its a cute idea.
i love the laser pointer, but then thats because im a cat owner and there is no better cat toy. otherwise i think it would be a feature that most people wont ever use.
set up is really pretty simple. since its bluetooth, its a little more complicated but you just habe to tell windows to do a seach for bluetooth devices when the icon appears in your system try and then mash the bluetooth button on the keyboard so they sync. all-in-all, not real tough.
In shourt i got this because i didnt wanna shell out the $100+ for the diNovo Mini and so far im really happy with it. i would definitely recomend it. the only reason it isnt 5 stars is because my wrist is really startimg to get sore from all this typing. but if your looking for somthing to make your HTPC a lot more fum, this is the business. This product has instructions on setting it up to work with an android device. After installing the apk you have to activate it. Well the activation didn't work for me and I have found that there are a lot of other people having the same issue. It says to make sure your connected to the internet. I have data and even turned on WIFI. I read a comment that the company ran out of licenses for the software on android. I am going to have to contact the manufacturer to verify. The website at has little information and looks like it was thrown together real fast. This has me worried about support.
In windows 7 the keyboard works ok. It was tricky to get it working and there were some response delays. I love how it's back lit. When using the touch pad the pointer does not move smoothly like it would with a laptop touch pad. Still I find the product useful and do not regret buying it. For a presenter it would be nice to have the device, could easily put in in your pocket and the laser is handy. I think it will be good for my ps3 so long as it works. Haven't tried that yet. After further testing I have found that the range is very short compared to other bluetooth devices. On the Mac the response is much better, but you have to be within about 5 feet, you can go slightly further but then you start seeing problems.

I use this keyboard in a repair shop to program the fuel injection units on motorcycles. I beat up my laptop alot less using this and best of all it fits in my pocket when I need my hands! The keyboard is very well made and the range is great!

rooCASE Executive Portfolio (Black) Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for Acer Iconi
A nice cover that holds the tablet and notes, both.
This is a good quality leather cover for the ACER IKONIA A100 tablet. It has three pockets on the inside, two of which would hold credit cards nicely. It also has a strap for a stylus or ink pen.
Perhaps I am alone in this, but I really like to have paper and pen with me at all times. I find computers great for work, but I write things down when I think of them. Having to type and spell correctly takes too long and I lost the thought. I can write quickly on paper, and expand my thoughts later on the computer.
I ordered this to replace an existing cover for my tablet. I like the way I can now have the tablet in either portrait or landscape mode without hanging on to it. The leather is a bit stiff, but that adds to the idea that this should protect my tablet quite nicely. I did not realize there was a zipper to close the cover, I would prefer not having it. I like the covers that close like a book, they offer more convenience for me.
If you don't mind a zipper cover, this one works great. The built in stand allows the tablet to be used without holding it in place. I also like the way the tablet is held in with velcro. Since there is a leather wrap around the tablet, when reading I simply remove it from the outer cover. Unlike some, I have not experienced the cover not staying upright. Since there are few options for the ACER A100, I would replace this cover with another if the need arises. This is a must for the protection of your Acer 7 inch tablet. I can carry it anywhere. I love it.This product is of a very high quality and fits our Acer Iconia Tab perfectly. I would highly recommend this seller and this product. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Its thick cover and zipper make this a great cover to protect your investment. I have been with this about 30 days and love i can toss this in my back pack and head out to start my day. Thank you greatly for a sturdy durable protective case.

LOGITECH G7 LI-ION 600mAh-Battery
- Remote Control Battery
- Remote Control Batteries
Although the size and shape of these batteries appears to be identical to the original batteries, there is some subtle difference with them I believe the 3 contact points are recessed *very* slightly more in the replacements. When I put them in my charger, they would not make contact without me pushing them in further. So, I added 3 pieces of scotch tape to the rear of the battery (the side facing out from the charger), and that was enough for the contacts to reach. No problems charging now, and the charge is holding quite well now running several days on one battery, rather than 2-3 hours with my originals.

Since Logitech stopped selling G7 batteries I had to buy this third party battery for use in my MX Revolution. Snapped right in. Now my Revolution has another couple years ahead of it. Charges just as quickly as the Logitech official battery and gives me the same use time with a full charge. Overall was actually a few bucks cheaper then the two I ordered directly from Logitech.Read Best Reviews of LOGITECH G7 LI-ION 600mAh-Battery Here
First off, i have never written a review before but it erked me that i bought a product expecting to work with out having to MuyGuver the damn thing. I bought these bateries to replace my old ones for my G7 mouse. I charged them and then tried to use one and it powers the mouse for a split second, and then goes dead. I know it turns on because the power button turns green for a split second. Confused about why this was happenening i decided to test the batteries with my meter. when charged it should have about 4 point something volts in it. The batteries were good. I had no idea what was wrong with them. After comparing the old ones to the replacements i noticed that the replacements had slightly deeper recessed contact points then the original. I had to put tape on the back of the battery to make the mouse work. I sent a complaint to the company but its to much trouble to return them plus the batteries were cheap and now i know why. I must admit one thing i figured out that the battery wasn't getting a good contact point due to the examination of them ( I pushed the battery in as far as i can and when i let go it turned off) but ranger1 gave me the idea of putting tape on the back of them to make them work. I'm just saying if you make a product for something make sure they work with out the consumeer having to jarry rig it to work right.Want LOGITECH G7 LI-ION 600mAh-Battery Discount?
So far so good. I got it for my MX Revolution, and it was a direct drop in replacement. Very easy. As I've read, though, you'll have to be careful of the little white connector, it is definitely fragile. In the past I used the mouse for a lot of online/offline gaming, but not so much any more. So, it doesn't quite get the workout it used to. We'll see what happens down the road.
I am satisfied with its performance thus far, though. When it first arrived in the packaging i was iffy. But when i charged it for a day and put it in my mouse the next, i was amazed. i put it in 3 days ago and its still working! My old battery is dieing, a great deal!

There was a huge delivery problem. I didn't get it for almost 3 weeks after I ordered it which was frustrating. This fits my Visio tablet VERY snugly, and all the holes line up beautifully. I wasn't sure at first, but I am really pleased with it ... it's made quite nicely, and the little slot used for standing it up is small, but does the job. I would buy it again!I ordered my tablet cover Wednesday January 25th..I received it Saturday January 28th..Talking about excellent service!!! I put my Christmas gift from my husband(Thanks Babe) in its new spiffy Navy blue cover, and it worked perfectly well, just as if it was in no case at all...Blue is my favorite color, and was grateful the color was even offered. The little pen also works great! the only complaint...no where to place the pen, relevant to the tablet, (ie: velcro or pocket)I have the same problem. For some reason the tablet will not work once it is in this cover. I am having to return it and get something else.I bought 3 Visio tablets with 3 of these cases, in all 3 instances the Visio tablet works perfectly...once this case is on it, all the tablet says is.."loading"... And does not work. Take the case off, it works again. Not sure why it's making the tablet not work, it fits fine, and looks very nice which is why 2 stars, but it's of no use, because the tablet just won't work with this on it. I do not recommend buying.

HP Mini 1104 10.1" LED-Backlit Netbook (Intel Atom N2600 1.60 GHz Processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 320GB HDD
- 32
After several months, I can say I am 100% satisfied with this little device. It works almost perfectly with my hospital's system (known as EPIC for those interested). I've logged in numerous times, from different locations, and have been able to put orders in and even look at CT's/MRI's. The device functions just as I need it too. The basic web stuff (checking sports scores, Google searches, managing my fantasy team, e-mail, etc.) is acceptable on this computer. Also, the Wi-Fi works flawlessly.
If faced with the decision, I'd buy it again. Most 10.1 netbooks now are stripped down with the minimum memory, Windows 7 starter, no bluetooth, etc. I found that this one was recently released by HP for schools and offices (they don't list it in their home on line catalog). I have had it for less than a week and the set up went very well. The printed instructions we very basic and the on-line manuals (two--start up and reference) are general for many models and don't have some of the details I would like to have. I found that going from XP to Windows 7 wasn't as hard as I thought. There were a few things it took some time to find, but for the most part Windows 7 is more logical than earlier verisons. I am still trying to figure out which programs to remove that were added. However, it didn't seem HP put that many extra programs as compared with some companies. I did remove the Norton Antivirus and put my copy of Norton 360 which I had with 3 computer license. I plan to install the Apache Open Office and not the inclosed (to buy) Microsoft Office....I might use the Office Starter version (vs. purchase or activate an existing license).
Once I got it set up I did make a Repair Disk with my external DVD Drive and then did a System Image (mirror) backup on my external hard drive. I like the LED screen and the slightly (93%) smaller keyboard seems to be no problem. I bought my first netbook almost four years ago and got a Toshiba because it had a full key board. Unfortunately, the Toshiba netbook died....the motherboard and it was better to get a new one rather than the expense of reparing. There were some other mini computers which looked good and had good specs, but they were 11.6 inch which will not fit cross wise in my briefcase, so I needed to stay with the 10.1 inch. This one seems to be a professional version of the 10.1 netbooks. So far, I am very happy with it.Small enough to carry around and fully functional. After a bad experience with an HP computer years ago, I was hesitant, but the little beauty reassured me with its performance. An extra was the Professional version that was included.Purchased the HP Mini 1104 netbook from Universal Mania through Amazon. Upon receipt I discovered that the netbook screen flickered erratically with the movement of the mouse or any other operation. After contacting Amazon with my concern I was directed to the company which informed me that they did not handle repairs or returns for replacement or refund for netbook computers. I was informed that I should know not to request such support for items such as this and then told to contact the manufacturer. I guess I thought when you purchase something from a company, it would function properly... and if it didn't they would make good on the purchase. As for the product, I suppose if it worked, I might consider writing a positive review. Thanks, Universal Mania, for showing me how a terrible company operates and helping me learn the hard way which netbook NOT to buy!The HP Mini 11034 10.1" LED-Backlit Netbook fills the bill! I needed something I could carry easily in my carry-on bag and be able to continue my computer work while travelling. If you have the same dilemma -this is your answer!

Buy Lenmar PowerPort Laptop - Portable Battery and Charger for Notebook Computers (PPU916) Now
So I have a bunch of these type of things, Xantrex Powerpacks, Solio etc... and most of all them have done well with small electronics PDAs, Phones etc... but fail in reality when running a laptop, usually because they rely on inverter technology then use the laptop power supply. The PPU916 from Lenmar charges directly from your laptop power supply (in fact many such power supplies, so you can have it charging on one from an old laptop without having to disconnect your current laptop etc...). It is compact as a laptop charger and is remarkably low weight compared to other such devices with older battery technology.
It charged quickly and has a nice multi-led panel that shows how full it is and whether it is charging or has reached capacity all works well.
Output to the laptop is handled via a short dedicated cable with multiple tips. I found one in the supplied pack to handle my Gateway netbook and Dell Latitude D830. It also has a USB output so you can charge other electronics via their own USB connector most surprisingly I found that this worked well with my iPhone 4 which is usually very demanding of its power sources.
Not using the laptop power adapter to run from the Lenmar has the advantage that you can keep down the bulk. Just a netbook, small cable and the thin battery and you are good for a long time.
On the iPhone 4, I had it running the device while playing music and taking calls etc... and even after several hours of doing this, the Lenmar still hadn't dropped below the maximum 4 leds. I imagine it will run that phone for days based on this great for folks spending time away from AC power etc...
With the Gateway, (which already runs nearly 10 hrs in full power saving mode) it connected quickly and securely and the charging light came on and the netbook charged well. Again I got took the netbook from 70% to 100% without a drop in the meter on the Lenmar. I estimate a good 3-5 hrs runtime added if not more. Great for meetings when everyone else is running to try and get their power cords into a wall socket!
With the large laptop, a Dell Latitude D830, which the website states to be compatible, I didn't have so much luck. I got a tip to fit, but even when the Lenmar was completely full, the charging sign went on and off with the display flickering every few seconds as it alternated between automatic power modes, thinking it had power then no power etc...the charging light never stayed on.
It is possible that you could configure the power modes to avoid the flickering, and maybe you would extend battery life with the Lenmar plugged in, but it didn't exude confidence that this would work.
So overall, as an extender for small electronics/small laptops, I heartily recommend it but for large devices proceed with caution and if that is your only intended use, consider somewhere with a return policy.
One last gripe, the operating instructions point to a website location lenmar.com/adaptertips (and then adaptortips later on), where you are supposed to find the mapping between tips and devices neither was a valid link however and there was nothing on the site to guide you to it. I had to just use trial and error although it wasn't that hard.
All in all if it works for your devices I think $99 is pretty good when you look at what else is out there! My Dell Vostro laptop (after about 2 years of use) regularly runs 2 to 2.5 hours on its battery. It is a powerful laptop.
I bought the Lenmar external battery to help me work on long-distance flights and to take to coffee shops, meetings, etc. (where I'm not sure I'll be able to find an electric outlet). I used the battery only once on a 5 to 5.5 hour flight from San Diego to Boston. And it worked great (so far) so I thought I'd tell you about it.
I used my regular battery till I had about 20% charge left. I plugged the Lenmar into the place where my power-cord normally goes. It quickly (within about 30 minutes) boosted my battery capacity to about 98%--all the time I was still using my computer. I didn't have to reboot like I might have had to do if I was switching laptop batteries. I unplugged the Lenmar and continued to use my laptop and had about 50% left of it's capacity when the flight attendant told us to turn off all electronics. In other words, I probably had my computer on for about 5 hours, and it's likely it might have gone on for up to 5.5 to 6 hours.
I don't know whether this Lenmar external battery will always perform this well, but so far, it's perfect for what I need it for.
1. It doubled my battery life.
2. It's about one-third to one-half the price of an extra computer battery.
3. It's reasonably small, a little smaller than an Ipad.
4. It didn't get hot (a little warm maybe).
5. It's easy to use.
6. It is better than carrying a second laptop battery because you don't have to shut down your computer to install the battery--you just plug it in. It is bigger than a regular laptop battery.
7. You can also charge your cell phone (I think at the same time, though I haven't tried that yet)
8. And it looks good too.
In it's first use, the Lenmar external battery appears to be a real find. I had no idea external portable batteries for laptops existed--and there seem to be only a few on the market that can handle laptops.Wanting to like a product is not a good reason to buy it. It's called wishful thinking, and the Lenmar PowerPort was an excellent example of a product that sounded too good to be true. In my own defense, I did contact them to ask them whether the unit would work with my Asus Zenbook, and they never replied, which should have been a warning. But the faithful ignore warnings and march on blindly. I had to return the unit, after quite a bit of unnecessary fiddling.
The broader issue is why laptop makers have designed Ultrabooks to not have easily accessible and replaceable batteries taking the worst page from the Apple playbook. Meanwhile, Lenmar is not the answer to short battery life.I purchased the PPU916 for my Thinkpad T400 as a replacement for the ultrabay battery that went belly up (the ultrabay battery was a 2900 mah secondary battery that fit into the same slot normally occupied by the DVD/CD drive). It costs less than a replacement ultrabay battery and has a higher battery capacity for not much more in weight or size. From my initial tests this battery has about the same capacity as the native regular battery on the T400, which is in line with its stated capacity of 5500 mah. It ran for about an hour and a half with everything on the laptop turned on and me trying to drain it as quickly as possible for the test (the laptop by default runs in AC mode with this battery hooked up because it can't tell that it's a battery and not AC current, but that's an issue with any of these external batteries).
The only two minor issues I had with the unit is that the tips that the Lenmar web site said went with my T400 were wrong (the T400 uses the L62 tips, not the L53 ones that the web site said), and the manual says that the fifth red LED light does double duty as a charging indicator and shows the final 20% charge, when in fact it only shows as a charging indicator and the other four blue LEDs are the sole indicators of remaining charge. These are both minor issues. The only other even more minor issue is that there is no bag or anything for all the tips, which I guess the manufacturer doesn't expect you to have to take with you anywhere once you select the correct ones for your laptop.
Some people have posted about issues powering/charging larger laptops and some reviews on other websites like tomshardware.com have claimed that the unit cannot charge laptop batteries at the same time as it's charging itself from the laptop AC power adapter. I haven't had any of these issues. I ran the PPU916 until it was fully discharged, and then ran my laptop battery down about a third in order to test this. When I hooked the AC adapter up to the PPU916 and then connected it to my Thinkpad T400, both batteries were charging at the same time, and as far as I could tell the laptop was charging at the usual rate. Now, maybe this is because the T400 requires the PPU916 to be set at 19v instead of 16v and/or because the Thinkpad T400 AC adapter puts out up to 90 watts of power which is more than most other laptop AC adapters, and thus there is extra power available to charge both batteries at once. It could be either one of these things if the people who where having problems were using a 16v AC adapter with a lower wattage rating. I did notice that the AC adapter brick got warmer than usual which I'm assuming was because it was drawing a lot of power.
One other thing that I tested, and was pleasantly surprised at the result, was that the PPU916 will charge an iPad, which means it must be putting out at least 10w through the USB port, as an iPad will not charge from a standard 5w USB port found on most PCs. This test was done with an original iPad. I can't say for sure if it will charge an iPad 2 or 3.
All in all I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

CyberPower 880 8-Outlet Surge Suppressor - 2800 Joules 15A RJ11/Coax EMI/RFI
- 100,000 Connected equipment warranty
- 3 Transformer spaced outlet
- 8 Protected outlets
- 8' Heavy duty power cord with right angle plug
- High performace EMI/RFI noise filter
On one hand, I can't recommend CyberPower because I got a defective surge suppressor. But on the other hand, the warranty claim process was pretty smooth. I was lucky I kept the receipts for the 880, my VCR, and my XBox. I definitely wouldn't recommend connecting your most valuable electronics with this surge suppressor. You should consider a UPS even if it's just for surge suppression. The circuitry in UPS is much better quality-wise than surge suppressor outlets.

This is a really clever anti-accident design. The switch is tucked away on the side of the unit, next to the cord, which makes it almost impossible to switch it off by accident with a false step. And the right-angle plug means you're not likely to pull it out of the wall just by yanking the cord. As a clumsy oaf, I appreciate this thoughtfulness. :)One thing to be aware of is that while the plug is much smaller than a "wall wart," it still may require some special positioning to accomodate the cord, which is thick and attached at the five-o-clock (bottom right) position. This is a awesome product, and came out with the highest marks in the online reviews! I highly recommend it!

Before you pass my 4 star, know that it DID save my items.I had the product for a good 2 months before I had a power surge that fried a few electronics here that didn't have a supressor. This worked as described and made a loud pop, usually meaning that this killed over in order to protect my items. That's the great thing and the reason why I bought two of these.
That should have gave it a 5 star instantly, but before this, when I was dusting, I noticed a burning plastic smell. I disconnected one of the two and found out that one of the two was burning with all the stuff a normal work desk has plugged into it: Monitor, PC, speakers, modem, phone, external HD. The last supressor I was using never had that smell before and it was a simple $8 protector that had all the same items plugged into it.
In my mind, I think it was going to kick the bucket eventually because of this. I was right. That second one was not destroyed by the surge, so I know that that burning smell might have been the cause. Even though it had a flaw like that, I'm glad that my electronics were safe.
I know I could have called or emailed them to get this replaced somehow because of the warranty, but I figure I'll just toss it and buy another one since they promised protection and delivered. I'm getting another CyberPower supressor, but the Cyberpower 1080 10-Outlet Surge Suppressor because I figure I'll toss them a few more bucks and probably not overload it since that's probably the reason that burn smell was happening. That fact, and the other fact that I could use those 2 extra outlets for a charger or something I don't plan on using that much.I got sick of replacing my battery backups every 2 years so I decided to use a power strip for my TV and related electronics. I've been using two of these for the past 6 months with no problems. The covers operate freely and there's plenty of room for all my plugs.
