I usually like to buy Corsair for any Ram I buy but for the right price I will go with Crucial sometimes. These have worked just as good in my opinion and I have not had any complaints at all.

Two kids and a dog. I can't help but carry pictures of them to show them off. Photos take too much memory, so I purchased the card and put the photos on it as well as PDF files and reading materials. It's great not to clutter and slow down the PDA with these files that are housed on the card. Only complaint is that it's slow to load the items on the card.

Whenever I go to my photos, it takes longer to get them loaded than if they were on the PDA's memory. But, if the photos are in the PDA itself, then it uses up precious space.

I just used it with a card reader that I bought and the reader read the files quickly. It's small and lightweight -easy for people to lose and misplace. But, I keep the card in except for when loading its data into the card reader.

Memory is always a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion. Today's files and demands are increasing so it's best to stay ahead of the curve with all the room you'll need. I have a host of Sony products including a PSP, PS3 (did you forget many PS3's have digital card readers in them?), and a digital camera; all of which share this card, and I can have all the room I'll probably ever need with this one card between all my Sony devices. Naturally, I have other capacity cards, but having one larger capacity card makes it real easy to swap or share files between them all.

SanDisk is an OEM to many products available so you're getting top quality. Again, in my opinion, superior to even the Sony "branded" cards. Don't be tricked into seeing a Mark2 or Ultra II card thinking a little more money must mean it's better; it's just a wee bit faster when writing the files and not necessarily any faster when reading them, however the device itself you're using must support that feature if applicable.

If you're the typical digital camera or video game user, this card will be more than you'll need in terms of capacity so you won't have to worry about running to a PC and backing up the files constantly. If you're a hardcore professional camera user where milliseconds between shots matter, then you might want to look at the faster access cards instead. Otherwise, save yourself the money and grab this card (even the 2GB or 4GB are plenty sufficient too) and pile on the digital images/music/videos!

The cover does what it is supposed to do but the clips that hold it in place cover some of the screen. I have to slide it up halfway out of the case so that I can type on the keyboard properly. Could be much better if the clips were better designed.

Ever since buying my Visor Edge, I'd been looking for a replacement stylus that was easier to hold and smoother to write with than the original one. This looked like the ticket, and when it first arrived it seemed to fit the bill. Sure it was a little plasticky and didn't actually latch onto the Visor, but it fit in the hand pretty well. But I almost immediately had trouble with it popping off the Visor when I jammed it in my pocket, and this problem just got worse until I had to carry the stylus seperately in my pocket. Eventually I had to return to the original stylus. The attach mechanism is just plain cheap more suitable to a disposable item than an adjunct to a $400 computer. I'd be willing to pay more for someone to make this thing right, but for mow the original stylus is the best thing going.

You really have to be tablet snob and a geek to appreciate this case IMHO. It feels and looks very expensive-definitely a designer appearance and plush,like brushed silk in your hands, but with just the right amount of velvet feeling to secure a strong grip. That's the best way I can describe how the leather feels. The case fits like a glove and allows access to everything. Can charge with it on, without having to leave the case open.The stand does work, but only on a flat service-just make sure to fold the cover into a tight triangle and place that at the base of the tablet in landscape made of course. But two of the great things I love about this case is how light it is while being great quality and the fact that the foldable cover feels like a real book would. This is a great case for the Evo View 4G. The Evo fits in perfectly and the case looks beautiful. A few downsides are as you turn the folio cover to the back, it is sort of flimsy in the middle and the overlapping backs don't stay symmetric. Also I haven't quite figured out how to prop up the tablet on the origami style cover (maybe it is not intended for that purpose). The plus side is that the back of the case is hard shell yet slim and sturdy. It conforms to the case like a second skin. Overall this was almost half the price of the tablet, but it is worth it as it is very high in quality and construction, and simply looks amazing. I have gotten multiple compliments. It also works well to protect the sides of the tablet should it fall. It is easy to hold in you hand, and slides in and out of your coat pocket smoothly (advantage of a 7" over a 10").

Fits the Lumia 920 perfectly and holds securely. It's not terribly bulky, but obviously makes the phone thicker in your pocket or bag. Still fits in my pocket, however, and I don't need to use a case on the phone itself. The 920 is a nice phone, so did't want to cover up the body and add thickness when using the device, so this is the perfect solution to protect it while carrying it around but have it naked when in use.

Durability TBD, but looks to be well made and solid. A little more pricey than a cheap case, but worth it to me.

I just received this back cover and it works just as described with my iPad2. It fits snugly and has precise cutouts for all the iPad's buttons, ports and speaker. It also works great with the smart cover in place. I like that I can still see the brushed aluminum back of the iPad itself with this cover on. The cover has no odor (I'm sensitive to these things) and has a nice feel a little bit grippy but not overly so. I realize it's not designed to protect the iPad if it gets dropped, but it's a good compromise for me because it adds very little weight and protects the iPad's back from scratches. A good value at around $10 since you also get a screen protector.

Update: this cover is just thick enough that it doesn't allow the iPad2 to seat into the Apple iPad 2 dock, so I'm removing one star.

This gel skin had a nice feel and the fit around the ports was tight, but it left at least a 1/4" gap between the naked aluminum back of the ipad and the smartcover, too much for me to keep it, as I imagine that strip of exposed aluminum will really get scratched over time.

iConvert Portable Document and Photo Scanner

I purchased this scanner to use while traveling to scan documents and photos quickly. I was hoping for something to give me archival scans of historical documents. The scanner is simple to operate and I'm happy with the quality of the scans. I rated this scanner 5 stars because I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a hand-held portable scanner; however, you will also want to consider your own skill at holding the scanner steady while moving it across a page. Although I haven't used the scanner a lot yet (and perhaps more practice will help) I'm struggling with that. I'm trying to devise a way to move the scanner smoothly across the page while at the same time holding the document or photo securely. It's particularly difficult with smaller items. If you are rock-steady and precise, I'm sure you will have excellent results.

Bottom line -I'm very happy with the scanner itself. I will definitely take it with me when traveling, however at home I will use my flatbed scanner. If you are considering a purchase, just consider your own dexterity as well.

The overall design of the scanner is great, it is small, portable, and just looks great overall. However, the quality of the scans are sub-par. I have tried it on each of the settings and on both resolutions and none produce a fine quality scan. The quality of the scanned document is poor and difficult to read. The file sizes are large so you would assume they are high quality. They are large files but essentially just a waste of space. The OCR is Abbyy Fine Reader which is able to produce quality OCR, but it doesn't make up for the low grade scans.

I bought this scanner because I frequently need to make copies when I am away from my office. There sometimes is not a copier available. It was very easy to set up including the clock which shows the date and time the document was copied. Now I carry it in my attache case and when a copy is needed, I get it out and run it over the document(s). When I get back to the office, I use the USB cable to hook it to my computer, click on "computer". then Drive F and there are all the documents. I then print them and put them in the file. I was so impressed with the scanner that I bought one for a CPA friend and he is equally impressed. The one problem that I have had is that the instructions state that you can scan a document into the computer and make changes to it (such as an invoice or other document that has blanks to fill in). The instructions do not tell you how to convert the document so that changes can be made to it. The instructions could be better. I have been unable to figure out how to do that. I am not a compputer expert so I may be able to get someone to show me how. I highy recommend this scanner.

I have used a Varatouch I-point remote (IR, Class IIIa 4.5 mW 670 nm laser pointer, full mouse functions, numeric keypad) one of the first remotes on the market, for about 5 years now to give seminars and decided it was time for an upgrade to an RF system. Was able to quickly diagnose a questionable power supply. Took longer to figure out how to plug in the CPU power cables because the sockets weren't snug (allowed the connectors to fit in several orientations despite being keyed). I eventually figured out the proper way to plug in the cables by studying the how the connectors were keyed and matching the female side keys.

Construction was disappointing, other reviews gave me the impression that this was well-built and rock-solid. My unit was moderately flimsy, felt cheap (flexed and creaked when inserting/removing the motherboard power harness and used cheap power connectors that don't prevent cables from being connected incorrectly). I doubt that this unit would survive in a commercial high-use environment environment but would be better suited for hobbiests.

Bottom line is that this thing works but with a good dosage of care. I could easily have fried it the first time I used it if I hadn't taken a close look at the connector keys.

This is made by Thermaltake who, in my opinion, is no stranger to power supplies and other PC components.

The box feels sturdy and comfortable in my hand. The LCD is nice and bright and easy to read. The instructions are well written and easy to understand.

To use this thing, you basically:

remove AC power from power supply

plug in the main 20 or 24 pin lead from power supply to bottom of tester

plug in additional rails to test, such as pci-e (2/4), old fashioned molex, cpu rail (2/4) or sata power

provide AC power to power supply

hit the button on the tester to power up the power supply and press again to cycle thru the different rails

the LCD is blue if all is well and turns red and beeps if all isn't well

at the end of the tests it turns the power supply back off

you can also hold the button to automatically test each connected rail for 5 seconds

I have tested about 4 power supplies so far and found one bad one. The nice thing about the LCD is that it shows you the voltage reading as well as what it should be right next to it. Easy identification of what you are looking at/testing.

The only concern I have is that I don't think this particular tester puts the power supply under load. I think this could be an important test. And of course this won't tell you if your power supply is overloaded you should be able to figure that out on your own. But it certainly is a nice and easy (and professional looking) way to test a power supply.

I have a couple of older testers that have led indicators only. This device provides much more detailed information. I build and repair PC's and having more detailed information is critical to getting my work done. If you are a frequent builder or need to test a supply, this can be a great asset. It is a bit expensive compared to the cost of purchasing a new supply so getting the less expensive tester will probably give you as much information as you could want. The ability to cycle through the different connections is a big asset and will help me get the warranty work done quicker by letting the manufacturer/supplier know what is wrong so I don't have to waste my time going through their paces.

There is no groove for it to fit in when you have it sitting upright like in the picture so it falls down.

Not worth a dime if you want it as a stand! The description on this product clearly says it is a cover with a stand, what it does not say is that there is no way for the stand to hold the tablet up. Basically it is just a cover which if that is all you want it is not a bad price. But do not buy it as a "stand" because that it is NOT!

Received this case and it was as described, would def suggest to others due to the price difference between this one and the ones at the big name retailers. the stand only works in the closest position and takes some getting use to when you fold the cover and use the tablet. but overall satisfied with the product!

It was my daughters favorite color. It help her device. But it's too flimsy. I felt the cover could have been sturdier. After all she is a college freshman.

Just remember, you get what you pay for.

I really love this case, more than I expected to, it has actually made the Fire even more fun to use. I bought this package deal because the case alone was out of stock with other sellers. I was hesitant, but I needed a case for my Fire immediately. It was worth the extra money. The case is obviously high quality and looks great. It works exactly as described, and although it holds snugly, the Kindle is easy to slide in to the cover. Using the case as a stand works perfectly, it even stays stable while on my lap. There is a magnetic piece on the part that covers the screen, so it will stay closed when not in use.

The stylus that came in this package is very nice. It does its job and doesn't look or feel cheap like some others I've bought. It is about the size of a Bic pen, so it is easy to hold and "write" with. The stylus comes with a plastic piece that plugs into your headphone jack for storage, but I find that it is better to clip it to the side of the case. Having it dangle around below my kindle would cause it to get lost or broken.

Now to the screen protectors. You get two in this package. I personally did not like them, and ended up throwing away both. As soon as I peeled the protective layer off, they both had dust and fuzz on them. I tried to ignore it and put them on any way, but I just could not get the bubbles out. The first scratched very easily when I used the bubble tool, so I had to to take it off because all I could see were little scratches everywhere. I used the cleaning cloth on the second to smooth out the bubbles with no success. These do not protect from glare or sunlight, so they aren't that necessary to me. I cannot say I am an expert with these screen protectors, but I have successfully put them on my Ipod and phones before. I will say, the cleaning cloth is surprisingly nice. It cleans fingerprints and dust very well.

I read my Kindle everywhere and when I don't have the hands to hold it the multi angle function is wonderful. The case is sturdy and protects my kindle very well.

PDair BX1 Red Leather Case for Apple New MacBook Air 2011 13"

This is a great case for the later generation of Macbook Airs. I have both a 2010 13" and 2011 13". I purchased a Black case in 2010 for the 2010 model Air and decided to get a Red one in 2011 for the 2011 model Air. I realy can't say enough good about this case. It is easy to put on and take off. It does not get in the way of ports, trackpad or keyboard. It is of good quality, looks great and holds together well. It does not add a lot of bulk, but protects your Air well. Note the top floats free from the Air and has a few card slots in it. The bottom forms a sleeve you slide the Air into. Once I got used to that, I am sold on the design. Except for my cat's claw marks, the 2010 case is still going strong.
