BEWARE ... do NOT buy this or any palm handheld. I have had both an E2 and this LifeDrive and both have had loving care but both have died within a year . Palm will "graciously" repair it for $150 (plus shipping). so beware ... there is NO quality to be found here ... I suggest you look at a pocket pc or some OTHER device.

The E2 gets crazy after a week. The screen freeze, or simple dont respond....I tried everything, even after a hard restart...theres no way this thing works....this is my first and last product from Palm..

The PDA itself works well (I've owned a few Palms over the years), but the keyboard isn't worth it. If you can find one cheaper without the keyboard, go for it.

I picked this CLIE up last year when it first came out. I have been really happy with its performance overall. This CLIE does everything a PALM would do, and it adds a much better display, (color, very sharp), and an MP3 player. I travel one to two times a month and this CLIE goes with me everyhwhere. Not only does it keep my schedule but I slap on a Targus keyboard and I easily compose word documents. This is also handy for graduate school as a laptop is cumbersome to have in class, the CLIE simply makes taking notes easier, and takes up less space. Another great part of this CLIE is that it has the memory stick technology. After about 12 months of non-reckless-use the MP3 audio jack went bad, only delivering one channel of sound. Shortly thereafter, the jog rotary dial stopped functioning. At the 18 month point, the touch screen gradually went farther and farther out of calibration to the point which it became unusable. Sadly, I can no longer use the PDA and it is destined for the electronic graveyard.

GREAT PRESENT!!!!!!!! My future son in law loved it for Christmas. He opened it up and fix it where he could use it!!!

This case is not well designed. When closed the case covers the both the power input and the HDMI output plugs. It is very hard to shut the clasp. The case is excessively thick and adding on the removable belt clip doubles the total thickness to 2 1/4 inches (more than 4 times the thickness of the phone itself). When I purchased it the price was $34, more than twice what it is worth. Finally, be warned that if you buy this item from Spring Fields the shipping may be free, but it takes 4 weeks for it to arrive from Hong Kong.

Great quality and design. The screen of my first Droid cracked on second day, since it was under purchase protection i manged to fix it without extra cost. then i started looking for a cover and came across this one on Amazon. I ordered it and i am glad i did that.

Not a bad little case, considering the price, but you get what you pay for. One thing to note is that the actual case differs from the image in Amazon's product listing in the following ways:

There's no separate cut-out for the power button. It's just one big oblong opening for all the buttons.

The spaces for credit/business cards aren't as nice as they appear; they're just slots in the lining (total of three).

There are also two "half-width" slots in the lining, each wide enough to hold a Secure Digital memory card.

Pros:

Zire 31 fits snugly into the case.

Case feels very sturdy.

Compact design means it doesn't take up too much room.

Snap button for secure enclosure.

Cons:

Getting the stylus out is a bit difficult, and there's no alternate place to store it either.

Belt clip is detachable, but it attaches to a "nub" that's permanently protruding from the rear of the case. If you don't use the clip, the nub is just sticking out, preventing you from ever lying the case completely flat.

No cut-out for the USB connector and AC adapter plug, which would have been really easy for Belkin to do, meaning you have to pull the Zire out slightly to use those ports.

Conclusion: A good case for the price, but small improvements would make it a lot better.

Not only does it not fit the Zire 72 (the opening is at least half and inch too small for the screen), but the case I received even had a seriously offset hole for the bottom buttons. I've had decent Belkin products before, but this was real disappointing.

I tried this out for a course I gave this summer. Works great. There is a stiffness to the buttons, and a silent "click" feel that occurs when you press the buttons. I found this to be an advantage over other "slushy" buttons where it was difficult to know if you clicked the button.

Love the AAA battery. Seems to last quite a while. I was really sick and tired of having to hunt around for CR2032 or similar flat batteries.

I was a little wary about the laser pointer. On previous presentation devices, the laser button always seems to get pressed while the device is in your pocket or briefcase. Then, to my dismay, I discover the battery is dead.

That is not a problem here. The buttons are stiff enough to resist inadvertent pressing.

All in all, this is a great little presentation pen. It is designed to move forward or backward through a set of slides. It doesn't have the useless "mouse pointer" crud that other devices have (which always work poorly).

This pointer was easy to set up in both Windows and in Linux. Having the receiver stored in the top of the pen was a smart idea. Twice I started to put the pen in my pocket and leave, only to then realize that I had forgotten to unplug the receiver and put it back in the pen top. If you forget to replace the receiver, it won't "feel" right as you place the pen in your pocket. Your immediate response will be to look down at your pocket, where you will see an empty hole in the top of your pen and realize you have forgotten the receiver.

UPDATE: 2 years later.

The USB dongle finally wore out and no longer makes a good connection. Not complaining, though. I have used this device well over a thousand times with a variety of computers, operating systems, and USB ports. I managed to get around 3-4 months of use out of each battery, although I seldom use the laser pointer function which probably helped a lot. I just ordered another, which is as good an endorsement as any.

I love this thing.. I paid $18 for it, it takes a AAA Battery (instead of hard to find coin batteries like other devices), and the USB dongle stores inside the thing, so you won't lose it.

For the 3 reasons above, I decided to buy this presentation remote. I received it today (so I can't speak for endurance or long term quality). The laser is nice and bright. There's an on/off switch that seems to hard-disconnect the battery, so it shouldn't drain when you're not using it. The buttons click a little loudly, and overall it doesn't seem very high quality, but it's not bad at all. Finally, it worked plug-and-play on my Windows 7 and Powerpoint 2007 without problems.

If you just need an inexpensive slide advancer for the classroom, this one is a good one. The size is nice (not easily lost) only has 3 buttons (laser, forward and back) and the usb remote turns on instantly when plugged in and can be stored nicely in the clicker. I recommend it highly.

I bought this to use for presentations after getting tired of having to walk back to the console at the side of the room, or lean over to press a button at a table. (grad school, tons of them) It takes about 5 minutes to install itself for the first time, but after that it works perfectly. I've tried it with powerpoint and open office on my netbook. It's a little slower with open office, but everything is. The first real run of it was on someone else's mac. Those in charge of the colloquium wanted to use just one computer for consistency, and I was concerned that the clicker might not work for the mac, but after just a few minutes I was happily going through my slides. Two other people asked if they could use it when they saw me hook it up, so the next 5 presenters used it as well, for a total of about 3 hours. I had one cheap AAA battery that I'm not even sure was new, and there were no issues. I'll be using it four times in the next three weeks and look forward to not being stuck to my computer!

Purchased this card for my wife's computer I set up for her photography business. This system currently has 16Gb ram and hybrid Crossfire with this card and the APU. We have it plugged into a 32" Visio TV with HDMI cables. We are seeing amazing results with this combination. 99.9% pleased with this net-book sleeve! Fits my Samsung Series 3 net-book absolutely perfectly as stated in the product description. The bubble padded interior is fabric covered so no-worries about having any 'gooey' sticky plastic sticking to the outside of the computer shell. The construction looks strong, modern and ergonomic. It is also sturdy and well sewn. The color is a very handsome and stylish deep jet black with a rich royal blue trimming. In all the stores i searched and even on most of web, it was very difficult and practically impossible finding a net-book sleeve or case which fit my small, not so common 11.6' net-book perfectly. My only concern with this case is that it only has a single zipper to open/close it. I don't care much for the material this is made out of. It is a sticky type of silicone that will attract lint and hair, which does not come off easily. I don't know what the strap is for, because there isn't a spot to put it! The best part of this deal is the screen protector, which is the only thing I still use.

I bought this because I used to be a PC user who was used to the standard plugs on PC notebooks. I use my notebook on my lap all the time and sometimes while lying down... so the plug kept tipping out of the side of the notebook... so I bought this neat little piece of plastic that holds me plug in. It still allows the plug to be unhooked from the computer without removing the plastic piece... but will hold it in there pretty firmly (so, if you trip over the cord, it does keep it plugged in... so be careful as it defeats Apple's careful planning for this exact situation).

The only downside I have for the product is the price of the actual product and shipping. Seriously, it is shipped in a small envelope and could easily be shipped for less than $3. And considering it's just a piece of plastic, the product and shipping should cost less than the item by itself. Yes, I know R&D and marketing cost quite a bit... but $18 plus almost $6 for shipping. That's a bit much. Sorry..

First of all, I want to say that the PC Micro Store sent me this case in exchange for a different model that I received that was actually for the Transformer Prime. I contacted them the same day and they offered me this case which I received two days later. Communication with them was pleasant and the replies were very speedy. Very pleased with them in that respect. On to the case...

All the ports are very much available including the earjack. The cutout on the outside cover for the camera is somewhat insufficient in my opinion. This could because the thickness of the sleeve makes it a bit distant from the cover and even though aligned, I think the camera lens has more of a wide angle and still picks up the edge of the outer cover. Not a big deal as you can remove the inner sleeve as it is held by velcro and take a photo that way and then put it back in the leather cover.

The whole case feels sturdy and thick and the leather is very nice. It also has magnets in the flap to keep it secure. Shaking the tablet does not open the cover. None of the tablet sticks out so I feel confident if I drop it that the tablet inside would come to no harm.

The positions available from the ridges on the inside cover really work well. I have mostly used it landscape mode though but I expect it works just about as well in portrait mode.

One thing to notes is the outside cover had no cutout for the speaker though the inner sleeve does. The volume on the TF300T is loud enough that you can still here it fine though. I have a pair of earphones and with the jack fully exposed that is not much of an issue to me though.

Lastly, I don't have the keyboard for the TF300T and don't intend on using one so I can't comment on whether the tablet in just the sleeve would dock with the keyboard. All the docking ports are exposed but there still is some leather around the bottom.

In summary, with the exception of the camera cutout and maybe the speaker cutout, this is a really solid feeling leather case. I really like it.

This was the third case I've tried for my Asus Transformer TF300T tablet and so far it's the best. It was designed specifically with the TF300 and TF201 in mind and it shows. It's a very snug fit and it's obviously very nicely made. It's more of a rough/textured leather, but it's a thick design and looks like it would protect your tablet a lot better than many of the cheaper cases you can find online.

One of the previous reviewers mentioned that they wished that there was a clasp that holds the case together, however I found that there is in fact a magnet that pulls it shut. It's not a very strong pull compared to many of the other cases I've tried for other products and it needs to be closed just right in order for the magnet to work, but it'll do. I held it upside down to see if it pops open and it held without any problem.

Either they used weaker magnets or the fabric is so thick that it doesn't make them as effective, but you can always make an impromptu clasp using a fabric hairband. If the clasp is a deal breaker for you and you're not interested in making your own clasp then pass on this one. Since I just got it, I can't say if the magnets wear out over time.

I really liked the elastic loop for a stylus, which was a perfect fit for an average sized stylus though it may not be very ideal for really small or large styluses. Another I really found myself disliking is that the case doesn't rotate like you would think. I thought it merely swing around to different angles, but it turns out that Velcro keeps it in place and I can see that wearing out over time, so it was a bit of a let down for me.

One of the biggest things that annoyed me about the previous two cases I tried was that the charger slot was positioned at the bottom so that the tablet would have to rest on it if you wanted to use the tablet while charging. While it can turn around to give it better access, this makes it so that the camera is rendered pretty much useless since the only opening for it is on the top position.

The only reason this really bothers me is that since it's held on with Velcro you'll have to adjust it a lot if you want to use the camera and charge it without putting the charging cable under undue stress. For me it's not a really big deal since I have a cell phone and camera to take pictures, but it's a design flaw in my opinion that would have been caught if the designers thoroughly tested the product.

It's a really nice choice, but it's not without flaws. If any of these flaws turn you off then I suggest shelling out the extra money because I have yet to find a cheaper/nicer alternative to this without sacrificing quality.

Not a bad case for the money. It's nice to be able to stand the tablet in standard and portrait mode. The only thing I would like added would be a clasp or clip to lock it shut when you're carrying it.

If this item had cost any more then I would say it is a waste of time. At first I was sent a defective keyboard and had slow response to my email regarding the keyboard. However, they were prompt and sent me a new one and paid for the shipping of the defective one.

This keyboard is okay but the keys are really small but you can get used to typing on it. The hardest part is trying to find the punctuation marks. It also makes the iPAQ awkward to hold while typing on it. It is still better than the keyboard software on the iPAQ or the Fullscreen keyboard software. I think it is a good accessory for the iPAQ. For less than $20, I would recommend you buy this product.

This thing started out very noisy. Since I was planning to use it as desktop and later may turn it into server mode, I was able to turn the fan speed to half, which is a lot quieter. Just make sure you either can turn down the fan speed by BIOS or thru some utility program. Otherwise the high pitch noisy is quite annoying. The good side of this heat sink is it takes very little space with low profile and can later be refitted to a 2U server chassis.
