REALOOK AT&T LG Optimus G(LG-E970) Screen Protector, Crystal Clear (Front&Back)

REALOOK AT&T LG Optimus G(LG-E970) Screen Protector, Crystal Clear
  • Perfect Fit on your AT&T LG Optimus G(LG-E970) LCD screen and Back side
  • Crystal Clear and Color Brilliant
  • Superior Scratch Protection
  • Bubble Free Easy Installation
  • Complete Installation Kit and Manual

Got mine in 3 days. Quick shipping, bad product.

It came pre-scratched. Wow. Going ahead and ignoring that, I put the front on. After following the instructions, there is dust already under the protector. Amazing. Skipping to the back I got that on flawlessly, but it is poorly cut as the back speaker slot is off and the entire thing has poorly cut edges (might I mention it is a lot thicker than the front one?) With the front not wanting to cooperate (and getting scratched to hell from trying to put it on although I put one on my Xperia flawlessly) I took it off and put it back in the box.

Not really satisfied with this after hearing all of the praise on XDA Forums. At least I have the back protected.

EDIT: I applied it without any problems the second time and it looks great. It ripped though from using and a stylus somehow but I am still amazed and am enjoying how great it looks. Good to know that my phone is protected even. I'll probably buy more when I get the chance.

Con: If it doesn't go on perfectly the very first time, you're out of luck and your $12+shipping doesn't get you another chance.

Pro: The plastic is very nice looking and precisely cut to match the phone.

_____________

After following the instructions--going so far as to run the shower in my apartment in order to truly humidify the area--I *still* had huge problems with bubbles and dust, and nothing I could do made it better. I'm keeping the back layer only because it's hidden inside my case, but I've peeled off the front and thrown it away. With all the un-squeezable bubbles, it was worse than nothing. I could've gotten 20 cheaper screen protectors for the same price, and at least one attempt would've worked.

By far the best cut and clearest full body protection I've used or seen. The cut is absolutely perfect, it's very difficult to even tell it's on the phone. Had it on for a couple weeks now, and it is showing some fine scratches. I expect it to, I am an auto mechanic by trade, and my hands aren't the cleanest at times when I'm using my phone.

First time that I have ever spent more than $1 on a single screen protector and I am extremely happy with them. The fit is better than the Ebay ones (more coverage). Really clear; I can't see any steaks like I did with the cheap Ebay ones. This was my first quality screen protector and I will never go back to the cheap stuff on Ebay. Everything comes nicely packaged with everything needed to install. I recommend applying in your restroom after running the hot water to keep dust down. Don't hesitate to purchase!

EDIT// I had an issue and Realook's customer service is top notch. I will use this for all my future devices that need a screen protector.

Micro SD Adapter

Micro SD Adapter
  • Get a replacement for your lost Micro SD adapter
  • Adapter allows your Micro SD card to fit into normal SD slot devices
  • Transfer your data easily from your cell phone to the computer
  • Accommodates the micro SD memory card. Color: Black. Accessory ONLY. micro SD memory card not included
  • Suggested Applications: digital music players (MP3) / digital camcorders / digital camera / cellular phones / smart phones

Maybe I don't know how to use these adapters. I have various micro SDs and likewise I have various brands of Mico SD card adapters. This even includes a new one I recieved that adapts the micro to USB. Very cool.

Now, I bought 10 of these adapters. I tried 3 micro SD cards in each one. I tried them in the lock position, the unlock position and even in desperation, half way between. Not one of these adapters worked. Later, I tested my micro SDs in my other adapters and all combinations worked. Unless I did something wrong, these adapters area a failure.

I needed a replacement adapter and this one will suffice. It has a write protection switch on the side which can be annoying at times. I find that it doesn't read the micro sd card unless you firmly place it in the slot. Aside from minor annoyances, this is more than adequate for my needs and you definitely can't go wrong with the price!

Purchased this when I lost the one that came with my phone. At first my laptop didn't recognize it, but then I realized that the switch on the side was in the locked position. Once I took care of that it was smooth sailing from there. No problems since. Transfer rate's a little slow, but it's about the same as a regular SD card as well as my old micro SD adapter, so it's just wishful thinking and shouldn't be counted against this one.

Want Micro SD Adapter Discount?

It does not working and not worth to return, so I keep it as it is. Don't try it again

Adapter does not work. I plugged two different micro SD cards into the adapter, and the adapter into three different SD card slots on three different computers, and no computer ever recognized the card. Eventually I smelled smoke and noticed that the micro SD card was very hot. Now I'm out the cost of the adapter and the cost of replacing the micro SD card, and I've lost the data on the micro SD card. Incidentally, the adapter I received has a SanDisk label on it, not the "circle-e" logo in the picture. Junk.

Panasonic Lumix TS4 12.1 TOUGH Waterproof Digital Camera with 4.6x Optical Zoom (Silver)

Panasonic Lumix TS4 12.1 TOUGH Waterproof Digital Camera with 4.6x Optical Zoom
  • Waterproof
  • Full 1920x1080p HD video
  • 2.7" LCD
  • Leica lens

I have just purchased the Orange DMC TS4. It is a vast improvement over the TS3 in many respects. I appreciate the full manual mode in particular. I like to take shots of the night sky, the stars in particular... the option to set the shutter speed up to 60 seconds is amazing.

The time lapse is also a marked bonus as well. I am a bit worried when leaving the camera in one spot for so long as it may be stolen, but so far I have made some amazing short films.

The overall picture quality seems to have improved as well.

The only MAJOR PROBLEM is that the manufacturer suggests that the watertight seals be replaced to maintain the water-proof integrity of the camera. They have not established what I consider a reasonable pricing structure for this maintenance procedure. To replace the seal you need to unscrew two screws on the door and replace the seal. Yet the service department for Panasonic now charges $180 plus shipping costs (both ways) to do this. I have spoken with the service department and they have assured me new pricing is being considered..so BEWARE!

One minor limitation I see with the camera is, beside the repair issue, the menu is a bit quirky and takes a little while to get used to. Another is to keep your finger off the lens, and keep your finger off the mike. If you cover the mike even a little while recording you will record both your subject but also the internal whizzing and other sounds of the camera.

I have included some of my shots in the customer images section of the product page.

5/8/2012 UPDATE.. Panasonic parts department says you can buy the "water packing" kit for about $32. Part number VUMG 1978.. call 1-800-833-9626 to buy this part. They say this is the part that needs to be replaced each year to keep the watertight integrity of the camera.

6/17/2012 UPDATE... I have just come back from a trip to Japan. A nice Panasonic repair person told me that the lens is prone to come loose and rattle when off. This is weird but normal so he says. The rattle stops when you power up the camera.

**I also discovered a neat feature of the panorama function. When you play back panorama pictures on the camera, when you push the up button, same as when you playback movies, on the camera it makes a movie out of the panorama. It is like you are there. Amazing!!

6/26/2012 UPDATE... Just spoke with Panasonic repair person in TX, USA and they have confirmed that they now charge only $50 to change all of the waterproof seals. (down from $180)

***be warned however, they said they will also look for other things to repair and if they find something the price for those repairs (not covered by any existing warranty) will be $180+.

**8/10/2012NEW REPAIR POLICY. I just spoke with Panasonic repair person in TX again, a new policy has been initiated regarding ts models. They no longer will question camera leaks if under warranty. They told me, at least for now, that they will be replacing them with new, not refurbished, cameras of the same model and color. Good news!! It looks like Panasonic has listened to all the negative comments and decided to do something about it!!!

I just got this camera and after setting it up which was very easy i am impressed with the video and picture quality, as far as the previous review about water safety warnings, when i turn my camera off and on total time for the display to show up is 3 seconds and with NO water safety warnings, i dont know why the previous reader keeps getting the warning. i have not tried the camera in underwater setting yet and thats why i am giving it a 4 star, but will be using it in Tahiti next month and will leave a follow up comment. Nice job panasonic for now.

4/22/2012, this is followup for those who have doubts about this camera, after using it for 2 days in Moorea Tahiti, i could not be happier, it has done a great job on pictures and videos, the camera comes on within 1 second and ready for use, i have used it under water down to 12 meters (40 feet) not one leak into the door housing, the seal is great, i clean the camera under fresh water after every use, and when i open the door to change the battery i wipe the wetness from the seat. i rate this camera a 5 star. i will load a video and pictures when i have access to free internet. cheers

I received the orange Panasonic TS4 two weeks ago for my birthday. My intended purpose for this camera was for my trip to Jamaica, which is where my sister just got married. I was in Jamaica for 1 week and took about 950 pictures. I returned home 2 days ago and after reviewing my pictures on my TV and new iPad, all I can say about this camera is WOW!

The reason I got this camera is because I wanted an all purpose camera that is water proof but can still take great pictures on a day to day basis. In Jamaica I used this camera for my sister's wedding, to go snorkeling, when we climbed waterfalls, went on a lazy river tubing ride, horseback riding in the Caribbean Sea, and everything in between. This camera took outstanding pictures a majority of the time, but did have some difficulty with night time pictures. The images came out a little blurry for some night pictures, so I had to play with the settings a little bit to try to improve the picture quality. Some night pictures did look great with the night setting, but others did not. So night pictures were a hit or miss.

For my sister's wedding, I used this camera for all the pre-wedding pictures as well as during the ceremony which was on the beach. It rained a little during the ceremony (which is supposedly a blessing in Jamaica!) and did not have to worry about my camera failing because of the rain due to the waterproof feature. All the pictures looked amazing.

For the underwater/beach pictures and videos, this was my first waterproof camera so I was a little nervous at first going underwater, but I made sure I followed all the cleaning/soaking rules to make sure it maintained its water tight seal. There were times when the lens would fog due to a quick change in the temperature (which is normal). I noticed it primarily happened going from the beach into the colder water. All I did was make sure my camera was dry and opened the side door to kind of equalize indoor/outdoor temperatures. This fixed the fogging issue withing 5-10 minutes. I think my lens fogged 2 or 3 times throughout the whole trip. Again, these underwater/beach pictures and videos looked amazing.

The GPS feature is cool because it records your location as well as the altitude/depth and pressure, but it did greatly reduce the battery life (which I knew it would prior to purchasing this camera). I bought another battery so I could easily swap out batteries when one would die. I'm definitely glad I did! At the end of the night, I probably used one full battery and about half of the other (I had the GPS feature on). I'm sure if I turned it off it would have lasted much much longer.

After showing my pictures to my friends and family, everyone was astounded that this camera was able to take such great pictures. Between the wedding pictures and the underwater/beach pictures, this camera did it all. I emphasize not just using the automatic setting, however. While the auto setting did take great pictures, I found that going into the scene mode and selecting exactly what setting you'd like for that particular image took even better pictures than the auto setting (especially for night images). I am 100% happy about this camera and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a great point and shoot camera that is also waterproof.

Want Panasonic Lumix TS4 12.1 TOUGH Waterproof Digital Camera with 4.6x Optical Zoom (Silver) Discount?

Do not buy this camera / very expensive paper weight.

I purchased this camera to take on our honeymoon in May to the Society Islands in French Polynesia. I read through all the reviews of the TS-4 and TS-3 both positive and negative and thought I was smart enough to not have this camera break, I was wrong. I followed all the instructions making sure the seals were clear and soaking it after snorkeling (never more than 1hr and never below a few feet). 7 days into our trip, and arguably the most amazing day post-camera death, the camera stopped working.

When we returned from the trip I called Panasonic and was told to send to their repair center in TX. I received a call this week that the camera was out of warranty and it would cost $180 for them to start the repair and I would have a 90-day warranty with their work. So my 1-month old camera has now cost me 50% more and will have 33% of the original warranty. The best part, and I'll update once I find out, is that this $180 may not actually cover their repairs...this is just to figure out the repair plan.

Getting a hold of a Panasonic representative has been almost impossible. I've never actually reviewed anything (positive or negative) but I am so upset with Panasonic that I had to. If this helps one person avoid buying this camera or anything from Panasonic I'll be somewhat satisfied.

Update 7.5.12: Received a call two weeks ago that they could not fix the camera, but would send me a new one for an additional $40 more than the $180 to repair. They told me it would be a new camera and would have 90 days of warranty. I said a standard factory warranty was 1 year and asjpked if it was a refurb unit. They said no and that the factory warranty ran concurrently with the 90days and covered 1 yr. You've probably already guessed that the unit they sent was refurbished and has only 90 days of warranty. They also forgot to send the battery back with the camera...who are these people that Panasonic hires?! I laughed at the commercial with the US Soccer team showing the new "tough" iPad wannabe. After the team dumped the Gatorade on the coach all I could think of was "well that will never work again".

Buyer Beware! Panasonic will not honor their warranty!

I am very distressed that I am forced to post this complaint about Panasonic not honoring their explicit warranty on a Lumix DMC-TS3 "underwater" camera.

I am an experienced underwater photographer with three underwater cameras and 9 years experience. I have never had a case leakage or any damage to one of my cameras. I know how to care for expensive camera equipment at the beach and underwater.

I purchased a new Lumix DMC-TS3 "underwater and 6 foot drop proof" camera for my wife to use. She is also an experienced photographer and knows how to care for a camera. We liked the Lumix as an easy to use light weight simple point and shoot for shallow water snorkeling. One its first trip, only 6 weeks old, it failed after only 7 days of shallow snorkeling. It was never more than 6 feet underwater and at all times cared for exactly according to the manual. It was never dropped or otherwise damaged. I was sorry it failed so soon on its first trip but we did have our larger underwater cameras so I was not too concerned. I was sure Panasonic would replace or repair the camera and I would have been happy with that.

I returned the camera as instructed to Panasonic certain they would honor their warranty and advertising. I was shocked when they called and said the warranty was void because there was "condensation" inside the camera. I carefully explained that the camera was cared for exactly according to their manual and should be under warranty. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they would contact me in 3-4 working days. They never called or emailed me. I then called Panasonic warranty service two more times. Each time I got the same answer: the warranty was void and someone would call me but no one ever did. I am now left without a camera. I would never buy from Panasonic again and caution anyone else considering a purchase from them. If you do not care about a warranty and possible early camera failure then buy Panasonic, otherwise BEWARE PANASONIC. I have now found numerous other complaints on the web about the exact same treatment from Panasonic. This appears to be a corporate policy and not an isolated incident.

Gizmo Dorks Scratch Defender Screen Protector for the Kobo eReader

Gizmo Dorks Scratch Defender Screen Protector for the Kobo eReader
  • The six inch screen protector is the perfect component to shielding your display from scratches.
  • The handy Gizmo Dorks key chain provides a quick and efficient way to hook and unhook keys quickly.

The product is a perfect fit for the Kobo and easy to apply. But for me there is one major drawback GLARE! It's like a put a mirror on my Kobo. Reading went from a pleasure to annoying. I had to take it off and toss it.

Buy Gizmo Dorks Scratch Defender Screen Protector for the Kobo eReader Now

I have ordered several things from Gizmo Dorks before, and this is the first thing I haven't liked. The screen protector will probably protect the ereader screen, but it's way too shiny to use! It isn't the non-glare type, and nowhere in the information do I see that it is listed as such. I can't fault them for that, however, it would stand to reason that a reader would require a non-glare screen.

Also, it is listed as being for the Kobo, but it's too big. Granted, it can be trimmed to size, but then you lose the tags that aid in application. Speaking of those tabs, the one on the outside didn't remove completely so I'm left with sticky residue on my reader screen until I can purchase some Goo Gone.

Tags that were supposed to attach it to reader were all curled up and would not stick... No good at all, very disappointed . not expensive so did not feel too bad but I certainly would not recommend it as I cannot use it.

Want Gizmo Dorks Scratch Defender Screen Protector for the Kobo eReader Discount?

I found that you have to have a very steady hand to apply this procuct. The tollerances are to tight as I had a Hard time getting it to line up properly and ended up triming about a sixteenth of a inch off one side. I didn't have the so called soft installation card they talked about in the directions and still have air bubbles under it which I couldent get out and have scratches in it now. Once applied the under stickey part will not come off so you are stuck with it.

I would not reccomend this product to anyone.

Bought one of these thinking to save my Kobo reader's screen. Problem is that this thing is glossy as all get-out, making it too hard to read through in any kind of direct lighting. Peeled it off (easily done) and went back to the non-glare Kobo screen. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

BoxWave EverTouch Capacitive LG Phoenix Stylus - (Newest Technology) Touchscreen Stylus with Ultra D

BoxWave EverTouch Capacitive LG Phoenix Stylus - Touchscreen Stylus with Ultra Durable FiberMesh Woven Fabric Tip for Ultra Responsive, Smoother Glide, and Increased Accuracy
  • FiberMesh Tip is a tightly woven conductive material that is highly durable and resistant to tearing and breaking
  • The result is ultra accurate and responsive performance, including the ability to work at any screen angle with less pressure required for each movement
  • Longer length; Solid aluminum barrel construction
  • Cleans the screen as you use the stylus
  • Package includes 3 clip-on lanyard attachments: 3.5mm headphone jack attachment, 3.5mm headphone jack with an elastic coil for screen use while attached, Charm clip for attachment to key chains, charms, or bracelets

Nice looking, but is not real leather. The plastic that covers the sliding kepboard rips at the bottom where the charger goes. It also hinders the phone keyboard from sliding in and out easily. I do not expect it to last very long. It has extra pockets that are useless for more than thin piece of paper. the pockets for the extra memory cards are also useless. The memory card will be pushed up against the touchscreen of the phone scratching it. It also creates a problem closing the cover to the phone. Its also a hassle to use during a phone call, the flap is always in the way. I no longer use it, and its still new except for where the plastic is starting to rip at the bottom.

Sony Xperia Ion Leather Case - Flip Top Type (Red) - LT28i - PDair

Sony Xperia Ion Leather Case - Flip Top Type - LT28i - PDairThe case would've been awesome it fits perfectly and the color's pretty nice. The cover takes a little getting used to though, at first it was irritating, but it does give your screen added protection when you're not using it.

The item shipped from China, so the delivery itself took very long (which I understood). But my biggest problem was the fact that it was delivered to me waaay later than the original delivery date on the page. Based on the original delivery date when I ordered the item, I should've gotten this case around the same time I got my new phone, but I got this item more than one month after I got this phone. I had to purchase another case just to make sure my phone was protected.

Targus Stylus AMM0113US for Apple iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4th Generation, iPad mini, 16GB, 32G

Targus Stylus AMM0113US for Apple iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4th Generation, iPad mini, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi with 4G, iPhone, iPod and Tablets -Cream
  • Designed to complement the Apple Smart Cover
  • Allows users to type accurately and comfortably
  • Use to take notes, draw or turn a page; soft, durable rubber tip won?t scratch screen, 3/4 inch longer than most styluses on the market
  • Works on all capacitive touch surfaces; use with iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone and other touch-screen devices
  • Unit Dimensions: 5 1/8 inches

Here's what I found after trying a multitude of styluses (or is it styli?) after buying an iPad 2. I wanted to use an iPad as a sketch book and the pad like it's name...and go digital rather than filling up notebook after notebook. So the perfect stylus has to feel like a pen and work well enough on the screen to give the tactile feel of drawing or writing on paper.

I learned that styluses tips are of 2 main types fuzzy fabric and rubber with some additional quirky ones made of metal (O-Stylus) or even sausage (supposed to work like your finger!).

--Fabric tips:

Pogo stylusalso used by Apple Geniuses have a fabric tip that's great for typing or selecting or gaming even but not so good for writing or sketching anything more complex than a smiley face.

Sock Stylus There is a seller on etsy who is selling sock styluses with conductive fabric "sock" stretched over a wooden quill which has been sawed off for the perfect length. I found that stylus a little less sensitive than the Targus and you have to hold it at a certain angle for best results. However, if you're writing pages worth of notes on iPad then it tends to make the hand less tired than the Targus as Targus has a squishy rubber tip that can cause some fatigue.

There are other fuzzy fabric styluses out there sold by small stores like the ones by the guy who has been advertising on all Mac forums and posting pictures of his store in competitors' item images. They claim that they have the best yet but I haven't tried those yet.

--Rubber tips:

The Targus in question has a rubber tip. Please check my uploaded pic for size comparison against some other styluses.

The rubber tip on this stylus looks pretty thick but is still thinner than our fingers. The problem is that it does block the view when writing or sketching just like our finger. There is also another 2nd gen ACase that has tried to eliminate some of that by creating a longer stylus and a thinner and longer rubber tip but failed to deliver as the thinner tip had to be held at certain angles to write well and became more squishy and less natural.

This Targus has been the best of the 4-5 styluses I tried so far (refer to the pic) overall as it is the most responsive of all and has a matte finish stem rather than ACase's smooth finish which makes it a little less slippery to hold. The iPad 2 is already so slinky, I don't want to worry about dropping the stylus too!! It performed well on Penultimate and UPad writing apps and SketchBook Express the sketching app and captured light strokes as well as the heavier strokes. The performance was a lot better than the Acase 2nd Generation Apple iPad / iPhone / iPod Capacitive Stylus (Jet Black) Newest Modeland a shade better than the Acase 2 in 1 Stylus + Pen for Apple iPad 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 3G, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy, BlackBerry Playbook (Black). And don't even bother trying the really cheap ones 3 Pack (Red + Black + Silver) of Universal Touch Screen Stylus Pen for Apple iPod Touch 2nd 3rd 4th Gen, iPhone 3G 3GS 4th Gen Generation, they're perhaps ok for tapping a little but not for writing or sketching. Although some people have suggested on forums that roughing up the rubber tip of the cheap styluses with a sandpaper makes them work better.

I've also heard good things about the Boxwave and Alupen but haven't tested them so I can't say if they're better than Targus.

So there you have it, Targus was the winner in writing and sketching on iPad but still not the perfect stylus as it is not as responsive as I would like. I'm still looking for that perfect stylus.

Buy Targus Stylus AMM0113US for Apple iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4th Generation, iPad mini, 16GB, 32G Now

I have been using a Pogo Sketch for quite some time and I can assure you that the Targus stylus beats the Pogo and every other stylus hands down! In fact, I recently was employed by one of the largest wireless carriers in their marketing department and worked closely with the person responsible for buying all accessories that are sold in our stores. She had tested and trialed dozens of styluses a d had determined that pogo was the best available stylus at the time. Last month, I visited her and showed her the Targus stylus. Like me, she was blown away. She is now going to contact Targus for samples to put through their tests. It works great with iPhone and iPad -and especially great with Penultimate. It is high-quality and feels great in my hand. It is as thick as a normal ballpoint pen, and the clip is made of sturdy metal (not cheap plastic like the Pogo). The tip is soft rubber, but not at all sticky like some other inferior rubber styluses). Using this on an ipad is so silky smooth and a pleasure to use. Buy this, you will not be disappointed!!

Buyer beware! Genuine Targus products work well and are a good value so this is not a ding on Targus, didn't really want the product to have one star but wanted future buyers to be careful. Recently I purchase two of these for my wife and myself from Amazon and was surprised to find out they were actually shipping thru one of their retailers called Asecshop all the way from Hong Kong. They were in bubble wrap in a small manila envelope and no the Targus name was not on anything including the product. After a recent trip to to a big box store who sells genuine Targus items my suspicions were confirmed, what I received was in deed counterfeit. When my items arrived looking like something you would expect to receive from ebay not Amazon. I left a similar statement on the Asecshop feedback page as well and I was not alone with this type of behavior, lots of folks complaining about counterfeit goods being sold and described as the original article. look similar to Targus in shape but they are clearly not genuine Targus. I have reported this to Amazon and the are supposedly looking in to it, I hope they correct this and do a better job of setting up there retailers in the future. ebay use to be reputable too until they started letting everyone sell all their knock off products on there, now you never know what you are going to get. Just my two cents, but I will only purchase products in the future that ship directly from Amazon"s Distribution Centers. One bad apple.......

This stylus is smaller and more precise than my finger, and keeps the screen cleaner. It also works with a touch screen mobile phone and easily distinguishes between a touch and a swipe. Best of all is when using Pages or Numbers on an iPad, as one can hit the small icons with ease. The hemispherical tip ensures contact over a wide range of angles so the stylus can be held as one would a regular pen.

The stylus has a quality appearance with a chrome accent and a metal pocket clip. The top of the pen has a small hole through which a lanyard may be attached. It is only available in black, but that does not detract from its functionality. It is an excellent and inexpensive accessory for the iPad.

Update: After six months of daily use, the rubber tip has perished and the stylus must be replaced. Its replacement will be a stylus with a longer lasting polymeric material and not one with soft rubber.

At a staff meeting a couple weeks ago, we sat around comparing iPad accessories. Everyone agreed that a stylus was a must have for senior software architects with large and somewhat stiff fingers. (God only knows what we have done to stiffen them.) We passed around 3 or 4 different styluses. The general agreement was that the Targus was the best. The tip is has the right degree of softness and the clip is well designed. The electrical engineer who held out for a rolled up piece of raw bacon was ignored. I ordered a Targus stylus because it was sold out locally. It does work well. My only complaint is the silly string. The latch is hard to work and a stylus dangling on a two inch thread is wrong in many ways. The problem is easily and completely solved by throwing the string away.

Black Wireless 2.4GHz Optical Hand-Held USB Trackball Mouse For Laptop PC

Black Wireless 2.4GHz Optical Hand-Held USB Trackball Mouse For Laptop PCWorks pretty well, the extra mouse function is a bit unnecessary, but neat. The trackball tends to skip a bit depending on how you hold it, and it doesn't work well left-handed, since the mouse bottom part is on that side. I would have preferred if it had someway to check the battery, and maybe a storage slot for the usb wireless receiver, but for 20 odd bucks, i can deal with a few minor design oversights. Otherwise, it's comfortable and easy to use. The drivers installed automatically on both the computers I've used it with so far, no problems there. It does have an obnoxious green flashing LED when it's charging though. Overall I would recommend it, though I've only had it a few days, so we'll see how the durability goes.

Been looking for something like this for years. Came close to pulling the trigger on several similar products over that time but never did because they just didn't look good enough. Mouse arrived within a few days of placing the order and worked immediately upon plugging it in. Wireless USB hub is very small (wish there was a storage place for it on the mouse: hope I don't lose it) and unobtrusive. Mouse itself is just about the right size and shape. (for right handers)

The only things that I would improve upon if I had my way: bluetooth, scroll wheel between the left and right mouse buttons, and a tighter track ball. The scroll wheel behind the ball forces me to slightly adjust my grip to use it (not too bad, just nitpicking), and (due to the nature of track balls) the ball becomes slightly unseated when tipped beyond 45 degrees (but still usable). Once again not really a big deal.

All in all a very good product... especially for the money.

I bought this because I spend most of my day working on a computer and I started having problems with my wrist due to mousing. No matter what kind of mouse or trackball I used (and I tried SEVERAL), I still had some amount of pain in my wrist. Well wrist pain is inevitable if you sit at a computer all day--it's unhealthy and unnatural (as Peter Gibbons said, "Human beings were not meant to sit in little boxes all day"), but it pays the bills. Dammit.

So I thought I could reduce the problem if I found something that didn't need to rest on a flat surface. I wasn't even sure if something like this existed until I started looking for it on Amazon. (What can't you find on Amazon?)

Anyway, it works great overall--I've been using it for a few days. It's not great for high-precision work, so I use it in conjunction with a stationary trackball. When using the scroll wheel, the screen will jump unexpectedly from time to time, but it's not a huge problem.

The wireless USB antenna is tiny, which I like because there's less chance for me to break it.

I wish they made a left handed version, but otherwise I have no complaints.

For the price, this is a great little mouse. Had my first one about 7 months, until my 6 year old decided to throw it (not as bad as it sounds. Logitech mice would likely have stood up to it). I bought this mouse for use with Rosetta Stone language software while sitting on the sofa. I soon realized I could use this while walking on my treadmill. Worked beautifully. Rosetta Stone is almost entirely point and click and accuracy is not a major issue. As other reviewers have said, the mouse does have some minor accuracy issues with the trackball and the scroll wheel. The trackball has a fair amount of play and the mouse feels cheaply made. If Logitech were to come out with a similar mouse, I would switch. As long as they keep the price reasonable. If the design had any reputable competition, I probably would drop my rating. I gave it four stars, because it does what is advertised, is fairly comfortable, and the price is accepatble.

It seems like a good item but maybe just a little too big. It could be a whole purse! It's says laptop holder, so it's not made specifically made to hold ipads.

Carrier has more padding than lesser priced bags. Twice as much.....so you get what you pay for!

Extra pockets let you carry whatever else you need so one bag is enough. It does have a smell as I'm finding all padded bags do. However, this bag aired out quickly. Definitely worth the price!

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene (Pink / Black) Sleeve Case for Apple MacBook Air MC965LL/A MC966LL/A M

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case for Apple MacBook Air MC965LL/A MC966LL/A MC503LL/A MC504LL/A 13.3-inch LaptopThis product really provides great cushion for your laptop. What would make it perfect would be a handle and/or strap.

This is the perfect case for my Macbook Air (13 inch). The computer does not slide around in the case, and it has these little protective bubble things inside of it for cushioning. Even if you put things in the front pocket, the case will return to original shape, and not be stretched. I use the case everyday, more than once a day, and it is made of pretty high quality material.

Buy rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene (Pink / Black) Sleeve Case for Apple MacBook Air MC965LL/A MC966LL/A M Now

I got this case because I wanted one that zipped open at the long end like this. It had a good amount of padding to provide the protection desired. However, it is about an inch too wide for the Macbook air 13.3 MC965LL/A, making it quite a bit bigger than it needs to be. Plus, the case is pretty heavy from the padding. It serves the purpose, but not perfectly.

HP iPAQ 4150 Pocket PC

HP iPAQ 4150 Pocket PC
  • 400 MHz Intel Xscale processor with Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003
  • Integrated wireless capabilities with Bluetooth technology and WiFi (WLAN 802.11b)
  • 3.5" transflective TFT screen technology
  • Pocket versions of familiar applications like Microsoft Outlook , Word and Excel
  • What's in the box: hp iPAQ Pocket PC h4150 unit, USB desktop cradle/charger, AC adapter, slip cover, stylus, battery

I have had this IPAQ for several years now and it has more than served its purpose for me. Just recently however I wanted to add more memory to it and went to Staples to buy a 4 GIG SDHC. When I inserted the card into the unit,it still had the same amount of memory as before. (You can check this by clicking on SETTINGS/System/Memory and then click on STORAGE CARD.) So I called up HP and after they checked their records, they told me that that this unit can only take up to 512MB !! I was then put thru to their parts department and asked if they even made 512MB SD cards anymore. They said no they didn't, but that it could be specially ordered for only $228!! For that amount of money I could easily buy another unit, forget the card. I couldn't believe it. So I researched online and found a user who was using a 4 GIG SD card in his IPAQ 4150 with no problems. I read that since the Windows Mobile 2003 runs with FAT32, there should be no reason why it can't handle SD cards with 2 gig,4 gig, etc., when you need that extra memory. The only difference was that you have to use a NON SDHC card. The HC stands for High capacity which uses a different architecture. So, you have to use the standard 4 GIG SD card without the HC on the label. I ran back to Staples and found a 2 GIG standard SD card from SanDisk (they didn't have the higher 4 GIG on the shelf or I would've bought that one) for only $14.99 plus tax and when I inserted the card in the unit, it showed the increase in memory just fine! I wanted to pass this along so that you don't get discouraged when you need that extra amount of memory and are told that it can't be done. I'm still cringing at the thought of buying only 512 MB of memory for $228! It's unbelievable what people will try to con you into. In any case, this has nothing to do with the unit itself. I am now a very happy camper indeed!

What can I say, I love my little iPaq. I've owned mine for several years now and never had a problem with it. There are a lot of things I like about it: It's small and sexy; It has a headphone jack; It's got replacable batteries; It has flexible storage with SD cards; It's got a bright and very readable screen.

It may not have all the latest and "greatest" features, but it's definitely good at what it does. Beyond the standard personal information manager stuff (which can be a TON of help), I've used it for everything from an mp3 player to a guitar tuner. Bottom line: I've found it to be good value for my money. In fact, it's still selling at what I bought it for!

Note: If you prefer typing to writing, I definitely recommend picking up the Stowaway XT keyboard to go with this.

This is the best PDA for the price that I've found. It has wifi, bluetooth, plays music, Word, Excel, calender, email, voice recorder, what more do you want?

The only weakness I've found is that the backup battery tends to fail over time however it can be replaced and there is a youtube video showing how.

I highly recommend this PDA.

Want HP iPAQ 4150 Pocket PC Discount?

there are no other with the size of the 4150, it fits right on any pocket size. More, it is faster than new ones (f.ex. i compared side-by-side with Dellx51v and he was faster using all softwares, no doubt, althouth he has a slower clock). HP really did one of the best pdas ever exist when they produce the 4150 ..... years ago. For ever one who are looking PDA 2006 : IPAQ 4150 !

I bought this pocket pc used to use as an e-reader since the price didn't even compare to some of the e-readers available now. It also works great for listening to music and watching movies on the Windows Media Player. This device comes with wi-fi which is great for checking your e-mail and sending IMs where ever a hot spot is available without having to pay a monthly fee. And of course it works great for remembering important dates.

Handspring Visor Edge (Metallic Silver)

Handspring Visor Edge
  • Ultrathin, light handheld with cutting-edge design
  • 8 MB RAM stores thousands of addresses, appointments, to-do items, and more
  • Features address book, to-do list, memo pad, date book, advanced calculator, and world clock
  • Supports optional expansion modules for MP3 player, pager, modem, GPS, video games, and more
  • What's in the box: Visor Edge, USB HotSync cradle, 8 MB RAM, rechargeable lithium ion batteries, metal flip cover, metal stylus, AC power adapter, Springboard expansion slot, Palm Desktop software for Windows and Mac

I bought my Edge through the Handspring Website because they weren't available any where else at the time. I've been happy with it, even thought the first one crashed, and they had to send me a new one. They sent the replacement next day air and I haven't had a single problem since. I bought the Edge instead of the Handspring Platinum because the Edge was quite a bit thinner and had an internal rechargeable battery so I didn't have to spend a fortune on AAA batteries. The Palm V is the closest relative to the Edge in the Palm family, but I thought that Handspring had a better product with their Springboard module. I've already purchased the one step back up module which works great when you're away from your computer. In addition, I purchased the InnoPak/2V vibrator along with a Handspring belt type carrying case so that I can wear my Edge and have it vibrate for appointments. I figure that if it's on my belt I'll get that much more utility out of it. The only thing that I don't like about the Edge is that it's a new enough model that I'm not able to get all the accessories for it yet like the Targus foldable keyboard and the travel charger/synch cable.

Buy Handspring Visor Edge (Metallic Silver) Now

After reading the last 3 reviews, all I can say is how surprised I am that people have had problems with the Visor Edge. My experience with it has been nothing short of stellar.

The Edge is fast, has a clear screen, and feels rock-solid and durable. I have many different programs on it and it's fully Palm compatible. The lid is the best of any PDA I've ever owned, bar none; coupled with the fit and finish, it does a great job of protecting the screen. So far, I haven't felt the need to fold it flat to the back of the Edge, the settings provided by hadspring seem fine to me and well thought out.

I have one complaint about my Edge. The adapter for the springboard modules is basically a kludge. While it's not a bad design, fitting tightly to the unit and locking with a satisfying click, it's not a good one either. It makes the Edge far thicker, and it prevents you from using the lid as the adapter uses the same attachment point. Springboard modules are fairly big but surely a better design was possible.

If you need a solid PDA, buy this one. As for the other reviewers' problems, all I can think of is that I waited a few weeks before I made my purchase. Perhaps an early run of Edges had problems(?).

Read Best Reviews of Handspring Visor Edge (Metallic Silver) Here

The Edge solved the one real drawback of the Visor Deluxe: you couldn't carry it in your pocket without looking like a total dweeb. The Edge's size and perfectly designed lid fit nicely into a shirt or jeans pocket without worrying about a case. Probably not the best choice for people who keep Springboard modules in it all the time, since the module holder is kind of clunky, but this isn't a problem since I use only the Backup module and remove it after I'm done. (Don't even think about travelling with a Visor without the Backup module.) I waited a month before writing my review, to see if I would have any of the reliability problems that were reported early on. Maybe the first batch of Edges had some quality problems, but it looks like those were solved before I got mine. I'd highly recommend the Edge to anyone who carries a PDA in their pocket.

Want Handspring Visor Edge (Metallic Silver) Discount?

I purchased a Visor Edge a few weeks ago, and I must say that I am completely in love with it.

Like most people, I did my research prior to purchasing a PDA and was initially put off the Visor Edge by all the negative reviews I encountered. I noticed however that the negative reviews relating to the hardware problems were dated a long time ago, and I figured that Handspring MUST have sorted out their production issues by now. This convinced me to include it on my list to 'testdrive'.

All PDAs work pretty much the same if they have PALM OS.

Much like mobile phones, PDAs all essentially do the same thing.

So what is there to differentiate PDAs?

First of all you need to decide if you are a PalmOS or a WinCE person. I chose PALMOS because I dont need 2 laptops.

To differentiate between the PALMOS products, my list was: Rechargeable battery, size of screeen, price competitiveness, overall thickness, and of course sex appeal. For me, the Visor Edge won hands down (especially sex appeal) Sure it doesnt have the latest operating system or blue tooth capability (will you REALLY use this?) and I did not feel that double the price justified something that I would not notice or use.

Just a point of note: The first Visor Edge I got did not work! It refused to charge or power on. Luckily after reading the negative reviews I had decided not to leave the shop until I was satisfied I had received a working Visor. This proved to be a smart strategy.

As part of your research, visit visorvillage.com for all those free programs you can use with your Visor.

When I first reviewed the sleek Visor Edge, it cost about twice what it does today. At the time, I advised buyers that this product was definitely going to come down in price so it can compete. Handspring finally has priced this product where it is extremely competitive with any product in the marketplace.

Functionally, the Visor Edge's sole advantage is its thinness. It is by far the thinnest PDA.

Functionally, the Edge is identical to the Visor Neo, except it is thinner with a rechargeable battery. This is the Palm OS equivalent of the Apple Cube -a beautiful machine that didn't justify its high initial cost. As with the Cube after it was discontinued, you can now get a great deal on the Edge.

Buyers may also want to check out the discontinued Palm Vx, which feels better in your hands and actually weighs about an ounce less.

BTW, putting the Springboard module on this product makes it look totally unwieldy and eliminates the "cool" factor. If you like Springboard, keep your Visor Deluxe/Neo.

Orange Rubberized Snap on Hard Skin Shell Protector Faceplate Cover Case for Lg Optimus S Ls670 + Mi

Orange Rubberized Snap on Hard Skin Shell Protector Faceplate Cover Case for Lg Optimus S Ls670 + Microfiber Pouch Bag + Case OpenerI have had this cover case for quite some time now. The paint has chipped slightly on the sides but, in it's defense, I have dished out quite a beating, and my phone is still completely intact. It does not look cheap once it is on, and the color is just as in the picture. Definitely worth the money, in my book.

  • iGadgitz custom made Hard plastic moulded Case for your Galaxy Tab 10.1. Carbon fibre style pattern.
  • Built-in flip stand function provides an ideal angle for viewing or typing.
  • A reinforced moulded plastic backing offers maximum protection for your Galaxy Tab.
  • Full access to all controls and functions whilst cased.
  • Supplied with stick-on screen protector.

My husband disliked his previous case because it was uncomfortable to hold and a pain to slide his Galaxy Tab 10.1 in and out of. This one he leaves on because he likes the feel of it and it doesn't cover up any of the screen or the buttons. It still seems like it would protect the Tab if he dropped it. He actually broke his last Tab because he dropped it after taking the old cover off. He thinks this cover is much more attractive than the old one as well. The price was nice too.
