If this battery last as long as the original battery on my Kindle, I will be more than amazed. I see no reason to buy a new Kindle when this one does what I want. That is to download books for me to read. No problem with that!!! My husband's second generation Kindle is not as durable as my first generation. Sorry about that. I don't think a battery will help him.

While the battery delivery was very good, the battery life was very poor. Maybe 5 hours, but more likely closer to 2. i actually had ordered 2 of them and both performed poorly. The original battery that came with the Kindle was good for at least 30 hours, but these replacements are not even close.

The battery really lasts a long time. The service is great, received it immediately. I always take an extra battery when I travel, just in case, because there is no warning when it may go.

The wire on the battery pulled out after I installed it in the Kindle. Then it was so tight into the Kindle it was very hard to remove. Someone had to use a needle nose pliers to remove it. Amazon customer service person was very gracious in helping me return the product. I purchased a new battery from a battery store and they installed it.

Compared to any other brand of screen protectors I've tried, what stuck out to me most was that the edges of the protector don't bubble up at the slightest hint of dust or oils. Handling the shield with just washed hands was enough for a good fitting.

Pros:

Matte finish reduces glare well (though don't expect to see the screen well in direct sunlight, even before the protector that's difficult).

Fingers glide ten times more easily across the screen, finger smears are long gone, and all with no noticeable decrease in touch responsiveness.

Cons:

Protector is slightly smaller than the screen in a weird way. I had to use two screen protectors on my first try because the first application covered the camera. It has to be applied off-center, with uneven gaps on either side (about 1cm and 1/3cm) to make the camera notch line up correctly. Considered giving 4 stars because of this, but the protector quality is still overly impressive, and the gaps are protected by my case.

Great product for the money. Easy to apply and no annoying bubbles. Strong and durable. Exact fit for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

I purchased one of these on Amazon and returned it today.

It charges both the phone and spare battery when both the USB cable and power adapter are plugged into the unit. (The power adapter is not the same as the Treo wall charger and can't be used without the cradle.) One odd circumstance, at least on the unit I received, is that the unit seemed to stop charging if the USB cable was attached and the PC was off, even if the separate power cable was plugged in.

The LED on the front indicates power on, but one must look at the Treo's charge indicator to see how the battery in the phone is doing. There is also a separate red/green LED in the back for the spare battery status. This would be a nice touch, but my unit flashed alternating colors if no spare battery was inserted for charging, which I found distracting.

The Treo itself is held at a comfortable viewing angle, for me at least.

The unit does not have a separate synch button, and the customer is supposed to run the HotSync application on the Treo in order to synchronize.

Generally these are all minor irritations, and would not be deal breakers for me, but the unit failed entirely to synch. I tried with two laptops, an IBM Thinkpad T30 with Windows 2000 at the Service Pack 4 level, and a Compaq V4440US with Windows XP Pro at the Service Pack 2 level. This was tested both directly to the laptops, as well as via an Adaptec powered USB hub. The Palm synch cable included with the Treo works consistently in all these permutations.

If you do not need to synchronize with Outlook, or can do so via a wireless interface, this may not be an issue for you. I found it unworkable. Not recommended.

I have unusual needs in a portable device. I needed a good and well integrated calendar, good note taking, an active task list, and a keyboard. I tremor and find that touch screens dislike me hugely. Although the iPAQ is a nearly ten year old design, it works well for me. It is not so good at WiFi connectivity, with only b type, but it will so emails and Twitter (Parts of my job as autism / disability advocate} well. It is my work tool and shopping list and alarm clock and always there to remind me of an appointment even when my absent minded professor nature takes me off point! I also admit that I like its nature, it is a tool and not a toy. Nothing trivial about it. It is a keeper.

I got the purple LG Optimus S, and therefore was looking for a clear casemy belief was why get a colored one if I got a colored phone.

Anyways, the case fits very snug on my phone, it's just a little bit confusing when it came to taking off the case. However I figured out that you just insert the pick, which pops off one side of the case and then you life the phone off in order to take off the case and you don't have to "pick around" to open the case . Anyways, my only concern is that I took it off a few time and I don't think I'll do that anymore out of fear of the case breaking. I get the feeling that the case was not meant for frequent removal.

I would say the case does help a lot, I can see some minor buff and wear on it, which means my phone is being protected.

The pouch on the other hand is a different issue. It's quite big and thin so I haven't used it, and just use the one my mom made which is much thicker, which I feel protects the phone further since screen protectors can only do so much against keys and other random crap in my bag/pockets.

I had no idea what to expect of this stylus on my Acer ICONIA Tab A100. It wasn't long before I realized that it yielded inconsistent "swiping" and "picking" capability. I'm a little unhappy with this, but for the price can't complain too much. :/ I haven't had it for two full weeks yet and part of the display stopped working. Something I like, though, is the length of the cords (very nice), but the power cable charges my Motorola ATRIX 4g sooooooooo slowly, it's not even worth plugging in. I just use the factory cord with a USB adapter for the car now. It gets decent sound to my car, and that's the whole reason I bought it, so in the end is worth the little money I paid.

I was looking for a gadget case and ultimately my decision came down to this case and the Amazon Basics Gadget Case. At the time of my purchase they were both similar in price. A combination of the Grid-It in this case and the "smell problem" that some have reported with the Amazon one lead me to purchase this case. I'm very glad I did. It is top quality and very sturdy. The zipper is heavy duty. It looks nice and holds what I want it to hold. The form factor is so-so, as I would have liked to purchase something more rectangular rather than square, but that's a minor gripe. Prospective buyers should know that there's not much room once you fill up the Grid-It. However, I was able to jam in two Kindle Fires (with low profile cases); a small point and shoot camera; an extra camera batter; a Kindle Fire charging cord; a retractable mini-usb cord; a retractable micro-usb cord, a thumb drive, ear buds and a couple of extra sd cards. It was a little difficult to get the zipper shut but I did fit it all in. Everything but the Kindle Fires, the KF charger and the sd cards were in the Grid-It.

Finally, I would keep an eye on the price of these. They seem to fluctuate wildly. I was able to get mine at about 30% off the list, and it actually went down further after that (only to go all the way back up again a few days later).

Oh, one more thing: the dimensions on Amazon were not accurate. On the product page it says 9.2 x 8 x 2 inches, which makes it sound a bit more rectangular. I don't recall exactly what the real dimensions are -something like 8.5" x 8.5" x 2" -but it is a perfect square. [Update: the dimensions have been corrected on Amazon]

Update: [3/5/11] Still love the case and the price actually dropped down below $10 for the white, gray and brown versions, so I picked up a gray one at this great price. Amazon should add more pictures. I don't think customers realize that there is a Grid-It inside the case.

This is an excellent traveling companion with spaces for the charger and a certain amount of work papers. The material and workmanship seem to be faultless. Padding and water resistance for the tablet are remarkable. One disappointment exists. Unlike former bags for laptops it is not possible to unzip and the G-slate opens ready for use. In this case it is necessary to unzip and completely remove the G-slate before setting it up on the outside. This makes set up and storage more time consuming than in prior devise cases.

Love them! Love them! Love them! I wish these products were still available in stores, but they are not and they are getting harder and harder to find online. The ones I received were new, and function perfectly. I would recommend them to anyone still using Palm Pilots. I still use mine despite having a telephone with all of the features and more. So i purchased their cheaper PU leather case, not this one, but since there are no reviews here, i will do my best to help. This case looks almost exactly like the other, though the one i bouht has 5 viewing angles+ lays flat. Here is my review based off of the other version, as i am assuming this is the same thing with genuine leather and a slightly modified backing:

I was hesitant at first, i tend to base my amazon purchases off of reviews, and this had none. My first case was one of the slim cases that a bunch of companies are selling on here. I'm happy to finally get a sturdy leather cover that perfectly fits the Nokia 6255i phone I have, however the outside readout and the lens have no plastic covering a defect? Not sure. If the display and camera lens had a cover I would give it 4.5 stars. Kept the cover and slipped plastic covers (that stick to the readout and camera edge) underneath the leather case.

The case is stiff (as cowhide is) on the outside and has thick clear plastic on the inside that covers about half of the upper portion of the screen and half of the lower portion of the keyboard with no problem for dialing numbers or accessing the buttons on the sides. The leather cover does block the back speaker, however there seems to be only a slight distortion blockage of sound.

The one thing that does bother me is the lack of cover on the bottom of the phone where the data jack is I worry about dust getting in there thus the minus half a star.

I haven't tried out the belt clip yet, but the plastic parts look very sturdy and have a strong clip.

Works great for my PalmOne and the price just can't be beat anywhere!! I was glad to find this item and so reasonably priced as well as I lost the charger I originally had.

This charger is simply not compatible with the Palm Tungsten E2. The plug is too big for the E2's charger socket.
