If you're looking for an elegant way to keep your smartphone-ish device out of your pocket, go ahead and add this to your cart. The cutout on the back of the stand allows you to easily thread a power cable to your device and the flat surface that serves as the base of stand allows you to reclaim that space. I wish the base of the stand were a bit heavier when I try to use my phone while on the stand it tends to rock backward. This should not dissuade you from purchasing this product an external hard drive, wallet or something of that weight placed on the base of the stand will easily make this one of your most cherished, and simple, tech accessories. Tested with a Nexus One, Treo 700 and an iPod Touch all fit very well.Read Best Reviews of Thought Out PED3-U Universal Steel Stand Here
I think this is an excellent stand. So much so, that I've bought two, one for home and one for the office. Vertically or horizontally, the iPhone rests in it wonderfully. What's also great is that it is "universal," as promised. I've used it for Blackberries, and other handhelds as well.Want Thought Out PED3-U Universal Steel Stand Discount?
This piece of sleek and functional tech furniture does what it's designed to do and looks great doing it. The unibody construction and tilt of the angle are perfect and when paired with my iphone, it reminds me of an eager robot awaiting my command.I purchased this stand so that my girlfriend and I could plug our iPhones into the speakers we have in the bathroom without leaving the phone sitting on the sink or a shelf. I didn't need all the extra junk that most stands here provide, and this is the perfect solution. It's a solid stand, nice and heavy with rubber sleeves on the nubs where your phone rests. It's quick and easy to place your phone in the stand, and the viewing angle is great for watching movies, facetime, etc. Not only did this turn out to be exactly what I needed for the bathroom, but I'm probably going to order one or two more for other locations in the house.
I'm very pleased with this product.

Sony Clie PDA (PEG-S320)
- 160 by 160 dpi monochrome display
- 8 MB built-in memory
- Expansion slot
- On-screen keyboard data entry, optional portable keyboard available
- What's in the box: Clie Handheld, USB HotSync Cable, AC Adapter, Stylus, Installation CD-ROM, Applications Manual, Graffiti Sticker, Protective Cover
In general, the unit offers all of the features I was looking for at this relatively basic level: address book, date book, memo pad, beam function, expense report, and helpful/fun software like zagat's restaurant guide. The CLIE functions well/as expected in all of these catagories.
Here's what sets it apart as far as the under $200 goes:
-the backlighting is terrific; they basically use indiglo. I don't know of any others at this price range that have such effective backlighting.
-memory stick function makes it VERY easy to add an incredible amount of additional memory (right now, up to 128mb)
-comes with a very sturdy cover that protects it very well; it works like a flip cover, which took a little getting used to, but the hard cover protects the screen well.
-jog dial makes it very easy to access information with one hand
-best of all, the CLIE is RECHARGEABLE. All other under-$200 require batteries. Sure, you can buy rechargeable batteries, but I love the fact that I can plug it into the wall and in about an hour have it fully charged up.
I do not have big demands for my PDA I am using it for fairly straightforward functions. In this light, I am EXTREMELY happy with what I've gotten and the features on the CLIE surpassed any other under-$200 model I could find. Especially for someone looking for their first PDA, this one comes HIGHLY recommended.
Buy Sony Clie PDA (PEG-S320) Now
I originally ordered a Palm m105, but after I read the reviews on this little jem, I sent the Palm right back to Amazon!Let me tell you, this PDA is incredible. The best one you can buy for the $150 $300 price range, and I have seen almost every Palm based PDA and this is tops. Amazing reliability and battery life. I constantly use the backlight for various things when I am in low light areas, and it is a very cool, indigo type color that is extremely easy to look at. The screen is sharpest I have seen for 160x160, and the screen size itself is larger then the m105 and m125, both palm products.
Another thing which makes this a top PDA is its expandability. Sony has jumped on the market with better planning then any other company, releasing addons, upgrades, and peripherals at a steadier pace then any other company selling Palm powered devices.
Slot for memory stick gives this virtually unlimited memory if you buy the sticks, which are not too pricey.
Reliability has been great, with no problems at all. Had to do two hard resets because of bad software, but it was not the fault of the Clie.
Recommendations could not be stronger, everything about this PDA is outstanding. And for the people who need to get second glances, the looks of this are tops for any handheld device using the Palm OS.

Because of a fried hard drive on my laptop (courtesy of the Newark airport security check), I used this PDA as my main computer for a month, several hours every day. Here's what I found:Pros:
* Rechargeable. Sony Clie is rechargeable, which means less weight and no hassle with changing batteries. In addition, the PDA has easily clocked 50-60 hours of work without the need to recharge it. After those 50 hours, the batteries were still half full, but I did not dare to go beyond that. Lastly, the power cord supports a power range that enabled me to recharge Clie in both the US and in Europe.
* Expandable. Sony Clie is by far the cheapest PDA around with an expandable slot for memory stick cards. This makes it a particularly good e-book reader as well, with lots of extra space.
* Durable. I have tested Sony Clie in temperatures from 0F to 85F; always worked perfectly. I dropped it numerous times, and there is still no problem.
* Ergonomic. I never had the same problem as with my palm accidentally turning the unit on. This is a huge battery saver.
* Wheel. The unit has a small wheel, which enables you to navigate without touching the screen. This is excellent for reading e-books, as well as handling other functions with only one hand.
Cons:
* Manual. The bulk of the manual comes only in electronic form, which may inconvenience some of the users.
* Screen. After about 250 hours of usage, the screen is starting to show some scratches. A protective layer is advised.
Overall, Sony Clie is so cheap that even without its movie player and picture viewer it remains the best buy among Palm-based PDAs.
Want Sony Clie PDA (PEG-S320) Discount?
As entry level PDA's go, you will be hard pressed to find a unit better then this one. Compared to the m105 and visor deluxe, all those units pale in comparison. For its price there is no pda that can buy what this clie gives you. Its the only entry level PALM unit that gives you expandability through the memory stick but it is also battery rechargeable. Although the screen is still monochrome and not hi-res like higher end siblings, its screen is still one of the brightest and clearest around. Using SONY's "STAMINA" lithium batteries, this unit just goes on and on.If you're thinking about buying a PDA for the first time but don't want to spend too much money, forget the m100 series. Go with this unit. You wont regret it.The CLIE S320 was my third PDA in the sub $... price range and in terms of features and performance, it stands head and shoulders above the competition.
The main thing that makes the S320 such an attractive buy is that it is one of the few (if not the only) PDA in this price range to feature a rechargeable lithium battery. Second, although the display appears to be slightly smaller than on a 100 series Palm, it is easier to read and features a much more usable backlight. Third, it is expandable. The lowest priced expandable PDA made by Palm is the M125, which typically sells for about $... more and does not have rechargeable batteres. Fourth, the jog dial makes it much easier to navigate through the desktop than using the stylus, although it admittedly takes some getting used to.
The only negatives about the S320 is that it does not come with a hotsync cradle, although it does come with a separate sync cable and battery charger. I don't find this to be much more than a minor inconvenience. The display to me appears to be slightly smaller than that of a Palm, but the fact that it is much easier to read and features a better backlight than the Palm more than makes up for it.
I have had only a brief opportunity to compare the S320 to the Handspring Visor series, which I also think is a good buy for the money. To me, the CLIE has a more contemporary look than the Visor's cheap "plastic calculator" look, although they are similar in performance, depending on the Visor model (I'm speaking about the Neo series here).
Overall, Sony has managed to provide a number of good and useful features in the S320 for its price. It can be bought almost anywhere for approximately $.... This one is well worth a look. Unfortunately, I'm selling mine because my wife bought me a Palm M500 for Christmas, a PDA which is only slightly better than the CLIE but costs twice as much.

SanDisk SDSDB-256-A10 256 MB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package)
- High transfer rate for fast copy/download
- 256 MB storage capacity
- Low battery consumption to maximize battery life in small portable devices
- Operating shock rating of 2,000 Gs, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor
- 5-year warranty
I bought a couple of motion-activated trail cameras and bought several Kingston 256MB SD cards for them. I decided on Kingston based on so many favorable reviews of their SD cards on Amazon. But the cameras were not compatible at all with the Kingston cards. The cameras wouldn't power up in the manner that the user manual said they would, I couldn't access the menu screen, none of the set-up buttons worked, and the LCD screens showed things never discussed in the user manual. Things were just generally screwed up, and I wondered if I had received a defective unit.
I called the camera manufacturer and they said that they also had experienced trouble with certain "offbrand" makes of SD cards, but that they hadn't had any trouble with SanDisk. I had never heard that Kingston was considered an offbrand, but I decided to experiment using another manufacturer's SD card. I inserted a SanDisk SD card, and the camera worked beautifully. Perhaps SanDisk adheres more closely to guidelines for cross-compatibility between digital devices, but that was a lesson for me.
Contrary to the experiences of some, I have never had problems with a SanDisk memory card CF or SD whereas this is the second time I've had problems with a Kingston memory card one time it was a 512MB CF card that suddenly went belly-up after not much use, and now their 256MB SD card was having compatibity issues. I'm sticking with Sandisk or Lexar.
Buy SanDisk SDSDB-256-A10 256 MB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package) Now
If you search around on the Web (e.g., brighthand, pocketpc thoughts...) you'll see that quite a number of users have problems with Sandisk memory cards. They used to be the cheapest, but not any more. For the same price (or even lower), you can get much-better-quality memory cards from Lexar. I highly recommend Lexar for reliability, speed, and lower power consumption.Read Best Reviews of SanDisk SDSDB-256-A10 256 MB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package) Here
I use the one of this size and brand card that was included with my SanDisk cruzer reader. The card is extremely fast, and is extremely reliable. I also noticed that the SanDisk Cruzer worked a lot faster than my digital camera, so it's a good buy for a few extra bucks if you want to get that. There are two reasons many people have had trouble with Sandisk SD cards.
First, the obvious, like any storage device, it must be formatted before use.
The reason SanDisk does not format the card in the factory, is likely due to the fact that it takes longer to manufacture that way. Second is that some items, such as some digital cameras, must reformat cards. There are also the issues of FAT16, FAT32, or VFAT (FAT32 with long filenames, etc.) Most PDAs would want VFAT, but many digital cameras can't handle it, and some even require the older DOS FAT16 format, as it is much easier to handle with small processors.
Additionally the SD card standard is designed that some devices will accept a maximum size, or only a certain size. Many earlier Palm PDAs only supported 64MB, but most newer ones support more.

I have a Kodak DX4330 and atBest quality 3.1MP, this gives me 203 pictures,
Better quality gives me 366 pictures
Good quality gives me 740 pictures
Other cameras due to compression and quality variations will be different.
Just in case the other readers don't know, the MMC and SD card are the same format. The only difference is two things. The SD card is a little thicker (still seems to fit everywhere an MMC card does) and the SD card has an extra. It has a little slider that allows the user to keep from accidentally deleting or changing items on a card. This also keeps you from taking pictures on the card if you forget to switch it back. But then most cameras or other devices should remind you of this.
The SD aspect to this MMC card also allows me to ensure the safety of my untransferred pictures as well. If I'm passing around my camera at a family gathering, first I slide the securing switch to the "lock" position to be sure no pictures can be deleted. Then I can be sure no one can accidentally delete my pictures. Unless others are aware of this feature, they would find it difficult to delete them unless they knew about this.
The only tough thing about doing this, is remembering to slide the switch back off before I take new pictures. But then my Kodak camera would remind me to do this anyway, if I was not in Review.
Great card, excellent value.I bought this card for my KODAK CX6330 3.1MP digital camera. On this camera, at best resolution, I can take 306 pictures and/or 16 minutes of video. After a lot of use, it hasn't failed or gave me any problems. In fact, it's at least 3x faster than the internal memory when taking, deleting and viewing/thumbing through pictures. Video taking is very nice and fast as well, no problems there, it looks great when watched on TV with friends/family. Approximate download times through cable provided with my camera are about 3 minutes for 50megs of data. Mine is manufactured in China. I would recommend it for use in digital cameras. I'm considering buying another card of 256 or 512meg for making longer videos and to have even more shots when on vacation.

CrazyOnDigital 4-item Kit- Leather Case, Screen Guard and Reader Light for Barnes and Noble Nook
- Top quality Leather custom made case for the Barnes and Noble Nook eBook Reader
- Protective Screen Guard prevents screen degradation over time caused by dust, grease and scratches
- Night-time Reader Light allows full enjoyent of product during night-time hours
- Brand New Product
- Comes with signature green CrazyOnDigital wristband!
The clasp is a magnetic type that seems a little "off". It closes fine, but it doesn't seem very centered and you can tell by the picture. That doesn't seem like it would be a problem, though.
The accessories aren't that great. The light is bright enough, but the metal clip seems too tight. I tried to place it on the cover, and the thin material seemed like it was in danger of ripping. The light takes three small watch-type batteries which could be a little expensive. I didn't try out the screen guard, but I see no purpose for it. The case should protect the Nook and the main screen isn't even a touch screen, so you shouldn't worry about it scratching.
Finally, the rubber wrist band is amazing! It's green! It stretches! I haven't tried it out, but you could probably shoot it at your least favorite relative or use it to bind something together. You most likely could use it as a fashion statement because I imagine the lime green color would go with just about anything. As a bonus feature, not only does it include the company's name and log, but it also includes some memorable catch words (something like life, love, honor, blah blah blah).I was not expecting real leather just something that was durable and comfortable enough to carry my nook. That is what I found, it's no sense in spending 50.00 or more unless you just have that type of money to spend for accessories. As far as the light and the clip apparatus, I clip it onto the cover right behind the nook instead of clipping it onto the nook itself. That method seems to work well for me when it's necessary to read using the light. I am satisfied with my purchase thus far, and the wristband that came with it, My grandson is having fun with it. We can sit side by side reading our books him on his V-Tech V-Reader and me on my Nook, doesn't get any better than this.Unlike the other reviewer that pointed out that this was not real leather, I was expecting this to actually be real leather. Why? Well, because the description very clearly stated that it would be. The description doesn't just say leather, it says "top quality leather". This isn't even close. In fact, all the other fake leather stuff that I won laughs at this because it's the worst fake leather that I've seen. I gave it two stars because it does protect the device, so it's better than nothing. But my fear is that over time, this stuff is going to start peeling and leave a mess in my backpack.
As for the other stuff that comes with it... The light I received seems to be defective. You have to wiggle the light around to get it to turn on. I'm not using this for a nook (it's for an Archos 7) so I'm not using the screen protector. So I can't comment on that. And the bracelet? Well, it's an ugly green bracelet. I don't really get why it was even included with this. But honestly, I couldn't have cared less about these items as I was just interested in the case, and it was a disappointment. I ended up buying a real leather case off fleabay for ten bux.Just put my new Nook Color in this case and am good to go. The Nook Color fit perfectly. Handy to have screen protector with micro cloth included. Not only that, but a soft card is also included to get out any air bubbles. Unfortunately, the screen protector is too small for the Nook Color. Perhaps the standard Nook would be a better fit. Plus, an instruction sticker stuck to the screen protector itself marring it rendering it unusable. All in all, thoughtful combo of goods.Unlike other reviewers, I have no idea if my case is real leather or not. If not, well it appears to be well made and will stand up to use. The straps inside hold the Nook well and it will not fall out. The magnetic clasp holds it shut well. I believe my Nook to be well protected inside of it.
The light works, but it is not as nice as the official light made for a Nook. That one has a pad on the clip that holds it dircetly on the Nook and will not scratch. I haven't tried the one that came with this set on an actual Nook and I doubt I will. There is nothing to keep it from scratching a Nook. It is a metal clip that doesn't stretch much and would not stretch far enough to fit directly on the Nook. It does, however, work and can be used with a regular book.
I did use the screen protector. I followed the relatively simple directions for putting it on. It is the right size for a regular Nook. I cannot, in any way, shape or form get all of the air bubbles out of it. Most of the time it does not matter, but if I look in the right direction, I can see little air bubbles throughout the screen.
As for the bracelet, I am with one of the previous poster. I have no idea why it is included in this set. It has nothing to do with this product. Perhaps they had no other way to get rid of them.

The Battery Adaptor PRO for Apple iPod (not supplied by Apple -"boxwave corporation" supplies this item) is an inexpensive answer to the problem ... It uses four AA batteries (I use rechargeables for greater economy) and powers my iPod classic (80GB) perfectly. The "fit and finish" are superb -great industrial engineering. Cons? Well, it "is" another item to put into your pocket, but it's well worth it.

She wanted something sturdy because we have a 3 1/2 yr old and a 1 1/2 year old. This case is sturdy.
She had also been convinced that she needed the ipad to be able to stand up and to have the option of having the ipad propped up horizontally or vertically. This case does both greatand I am sure it will come in handy when viewing photos or movies.
The color is perfect. Was exactly as pictured. My wife LOVES it.
The customer service was unreal. First, the screen protector wouldn't stick, so we informed the company and they sent us a new one straight away. We still can't really get it on correctly (without tiny air bubbles) but it's much better than nothing at all with our kids touching the ipad with messy fingers regularly. Then, we noticed that the velcro was on the wrong side (sticky side on back on part of case attached to ipad, so when it was on your lap it stuck to your clothes). My wife had asked the company about this prior to ordering and had been assured the case they were sending out had the sticky part of the velcro on the portfolio side, but they were wrong. Contacted them and they put a new case in the mail straight away. Great customer service.
Basically, the case is awesome. My wife feels totally safe when she wraps it in the portfolio and tosses it in her handbag. We feel fairy safe when the kids are toddling around with it with just the case over the ipad. Price was awesome. Slam dunk. Thank you!I have had this for a year and still really like it. I have dropped my I pad and travel with it extensively with no damage to the ipad. Easy to take in and out of case. The only complaint is that one of the zippers broke with about 6 months use. There is a 2 way zip so now I just use the one zipper and it works just fine. I would highly recommend this if you do not mind a bigger and heavier case. The look of the case is the color that I expected (fushia-ish), and I read other reviews that noted the annoyance of the Velcro circles on the back of the removable iPad case so that wasn't a shocker. But after months of use it is still very stiff, the double zippers open completely (tend to get lost in the creases at times) but even then it doesn't lay flat. I guess if it was real leather this would be a bigger deal -but it's not real leather. At the median price of about $50 I think it's similar to many others on the market .. If you're looking for a cute yet functional case this would fit the bill .. just don't pull out the iPad case a let it touch anything other than jeans!Love love love this case! Protects from any damage due to dropping or mishandling. Very sturdy and well made. Love the color pink! Only down side is that it can only stand horizontally which is good for watching shows or videos.
