2.4GHz Wireless Handheld Rechargable Optical Trackball Mouse with USB Receiver

2.4GHz Wireless Handheld Rechargable Optical Trackball Mouse with USB Receiver
  • 2.4GHz Wireless connectivity with working distance within 32ft (10m). Hold in hand or place on any surface
  • Plug and Play. Precise optical tracking
  • Compatible with: Windows98, 2000, XP, VISTA, win 7, Linux, Unix, Mac OS
  • Package includes: 1 x Wire Trackball Mouse, 1 x Receiver, 1 x Cable, 1 x Bag

Great idea. A portable trackball with the potential to be a mouse is stunning, with wireless capability would made it ideal to pack-in-go. However, the angle where you hold the mouse with your ring and pinky fingers is slightly angled more than it should be; it's like trying to hold the bottom end of a golf club upside down, it doesn't feel quite right; the odd feeling can be ignored, but it would have helped if the designers decreased the angle by a few degrees. The trackball is one of it's best perks, you can hold the wireless mouse in any position and all you need is your thumb to move the courser on the computer. The only downfall to the trackball that it doesn't work 20-40% of the time that you're using it it will give out, and you end up having to wiggle the trackball a little to get it to respond again.

Good little device if you want extreme portability and like to swap between a trackball and mouse; bad if you're picky about how you hold your mouse and if you don't like your trackball not working 20-40% of the time.

Alphasmart Neo - Handheld

Alphasmart Neo - HandheldI purchased the Neo2 for taking notes in college classes as I am unable to write. It does the job, but not a great job. Because the keyboard is not ergonomic, nor is there a way to attach a better keyboard, my spelling on the Neo is horrendous. It is also difficult to see the cursor when attempting to move it around in the text to make corrections, so I gave up on that. After each lecture, I transfer the file to the computer, then Save As a Word document, then run spell checker, then try to get the notes better organized. I also record the lecture and transcribe the recording against the Neo text file and I miss about 10% of it on the Neo. I am actually a fast and accurate typist with an ergonomic keyboard, so using the Neo is quite frustrating for me, but at least I get the notes. Unfortunately, it will have to be an expensive stop-gap tool until I can afford something better.

I started out with an Alphasmart 3000 three years ago when I wanted to join other writers at coffeehouses for write-ins, but could not afford a laptop. I discovered that the Alphasmart 3000 was a great non-distraction writing machine that allowed me to produce larger word counts on my rough drafts than having a machine that was hooked up to the internet. The combination of the small screen, not being able to go back and edit easily on the fly and the ability to load up my finished work to my computer's word processing program with ease turned out to be a winning combination for me as a writer.

After a year of using the Alphasmart 3000, I decided to upgrade to the Alphasmart Neo. I am glad that I did. With the Neo, I have the same good features that made the AS3K a wonderful non-distraction writing machine. The Neo's keyboard is more comfortable with a better feel to the keys and the screen is slightly larger than the AS3K. The Neo handles larger file sizes and has a dictionary, thesarus and a word count feature built in. The unit is lightweight and tough. The battery life is like nothing in this world. I put in batteries once a year and then forget about it. I always have power in the unit when I need it.

I now own a laptop, but when I am working on a rough draft, I still pull out my Alphasmart Neo. It is my preferred drafting machine of choice. I have paired up the Neo with a Neoprene sleeve designed for a 13" MacBook Air and a Mighty Bright Music Light. Everything fits easily into my writing bag and carts around effortlessly.

If you are a novelist, a freelance writer, a student who needs to take notes in the classroom but are not allowed to bring a computer with you, do consider purchasing the Alphasmart Neo. It might be the answer you were looking for.

Buy Alphasmart Neo - Handheld Now

We chose this product because it had Cowriter on it, which is a program that helps with spelling. My son loves this aid as he has a hard time spelling. He loves to write imaginative stories but has difficulty physically writing and the computer has too many distractions which the Alphasmart Neo does not, so he makes greater progress. When hooked to the computer things can be easily printed or just saved to the computer. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a simple typing device without all the games, internet and other distractions found on computers. It's been a great help to my son's education!

This machine comes in so handy because it is so portable.

It is also so easy to use. And the battery seems to last forever

1GB SD Media Memory Card

1GB SD Media Memory CardGreat price. We could not beat it anywhere! But we did but 2 of them for our daughters phones and one of them did not work.

I bought the SanDisk Transflash MicroSD card for an LG VX8300 cell phone. It is very easy to set up. Simply insert the card into your phone and make sure you have the pix (and/or flix) memory settings to go to card instead of internal memory. The adapter works great for transferring photos to computer. So far, I am very happy with this product.

This keyboard is amazing. Keyboard layout is spaced out right. No trouble finding the keys for touch type folks. Pairs instantly with bluetooth once you turn it on. Lightweight and just about the same height as the iPad itself. Sometimes I forget that I am carrying it on top of the iPad because it is so light and thin. I am thinking of getting a second one for the office. Very pleased with the purchase.

I have small hands and have no problem with size of the keyboard which is smaller than normal however I could imagine it might be a challenge for large hands.

I had a foldable bluetooth keyboard from freedom which was nice but had some issues. I bought the LuxPad during a trip and I am really happy with it. It works seemlessly with my iPhone and Android Tablet. All media functions work with both plattforms. Typing is great. If you have a touch devise and can write quickly on a normal keyboard buy one and it will speed up correspondence a lot.

Firstly i would like to point out that the picture is misleading. The stick ons you will receive will not properly align. I was stubborn enough to spend a good hour trying to align them perfectly. In the end you will be left with a pattern that seems misplaced, gaps on the edges and around the power button. Furthermore, you'll discover that only two feet holes were cut out, it may be an issue to some but i rest the Xbox horizontally and have no need to look at that side all day. Additionally, what was also lacking was that the side skins did not curve and cover the back, this would have been a nice design feature to make it look more complete.

However if you are able to overlook these minor set backs, you will actually become fond of the design and feel of it. What it does is offer protection for the Xbox 360 surface while displaying an aesthetically pleasing artistic piece.

For $10 it is not that bad of a deal.

Metro Vacuum VM4BS500 Professional Stainless Steel 120V, 500-Watt High Performance Hand Vac

Metro Vacuum VM4BS500 Professional Stainless Steel 120V, 500-Watt High Performance Hand Vac
  • All steel construction
  • 500 watts of power, 110 volts at 4.5 amps, 60" of water lift, weighs 2.7 lbs.
  • Includes power unit, crevice tool, dust brush, upholstery nozzle
  • Five year motor warrantee
  • Made in USA

This tiny hand held vac has more power than some shop vacs. It's all I had hoped for and is very well made of stainless steel. For cleaning the car or a quick pickup around the house ... 500 watt Vac n Go can do it. You can order a 3'flex hose attachment, seperately, and 5 packs of filters. Should be, but not carried by Amazon.

I just received this vac from Amazon and already I love it!

Extremely well made and light weight.

Powerful vac and the back end is a "blower".

The blower part is not as powerful as the blowers

the gardeners use but can be quite useful in certain

situations.

As one reviewer mentioned, the flexible hose and

extra filters are not sold on Amazon.

I found both the 3' and 6' flexible hoses and

extra filter bags at AutoGeek (dot) net.

I would recommend this vac to anyone wanting

an excellent hand vac.

Pleased with the product. It is more powerful than the other rechargeable portables that I have. The length of the electrical cord is sufficient to reach the extreme corners of my motorhome from the mid outlet. I like the fact that it has a stainless steel body and not plastic.

This vacuum has great design and SUPER suction. The cord is nice and long a big plus. We use it to suck up dirt, ash and wood particles around the hearth of our wood burning stove (obviously NOT hot ash)--and for the stairway and will also be using it to clean inside our cars. Would give it 5 stars but wish the paper-type filter held a bit more and was washable and permanent (i.e., nylon or metal fine mesh)instead of needing to order filters although you CAN empty and re-use the filter several times as is and two filters come with the vacuum. We really love it and are very pleased with the purchase. It's a terrific vacuum!

I bought this vacuum to replace my Dirt Devil. I am a professional auto detailer and wanted something powerful, yet small. I got tired of lugging around the house sized canister. The battery rechargable vacuums on the market don't have enough power for my needs. I was quite surprised to find that it actually cleaned the interior of the car with vigor! Compact and easy to use, sturdy as well. Love the stainless steel design.

The only drawback for me is that the steel body gets hot to the touch after being on for a bit. if you are not using it for work and just picking up a little mess in the house or doing the stairs, this probably won't be an issue. Also, I will have to empty the bag more on such a small vacuum. I plan to buy the reusable cloth bag to save money on purchasing throwaway bags. Moreover, I am purchasing the shoulder strap Metro Vac sells on their web site to solve the problem of the vacuum body getting hot to my touch. That, along with the flexible hose, will keep me from having to constantly touch the vacuum while using. These issues don't keep me from giving it 5 stars or from recommending this product to others. On top of all the good stuff, it is made in the U.S.A!

Toshiba e750 Pocket PC

Toshiba e750 Pocket PC
  • Crisp 3.8'' color display
  • 96MB of storage capacity
  • Intel PXA255 processor
  • Integrated Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b) wireless LAN allows secure access to the Internet
  • What's in the box: Toshiba Pocket PC e750, USB Cradle, 10W AC Adapter, 1-Stylus, Soft Slip Case, Quick Start Card, Warranty Card

(Note: The only difference between the e750 and e755 is that the latter e755 comes with a photo viewer software title on the companion CD. In fact, the machine in the e755 packaging says "e750".)

Featuring a new mobile processor, the most internal memory of any PDA (64MB RAM plus 64MB non-RAM for a total of 128MB), built-in 802.11b wi-fi, the best PDA screen from Toshiba so far. and good battery life, the e750/e755 is close to being perfect. The compact (0.6 inches thin) and attractive form factor is a huge plus, as well.

The new Intel processor (PXA255 running at 400Mhz) is without doubt the star of the new line-up. It's an updated version of the first-gen Xscalar processor, which wasn't getting good reviews due to lack of optimization options. The e750/e755 *is* optimized for the new processor, which results in speedy application launches and operations. Nothing gives a Pocket PC user more pleasure than seeing his/her favorite app come up instantly. The e750 also allows you to switch between two speeds, hence you can choose between higher speed or better battery life. Even at the lower speed, PPC apps feel quick and responsive. The LiIon battery is user replaceable, and an optional "extended" battery is available now from Toshiba.

What's left to improve for Toshiba is their lackluster customer support. Because their PPCs are made by an OEM in Taiwan rather than in their own plants in Japan, the build quality is still a bit lacking, but the e750/e755 seems to be better made than the e740, which was getting a lot of complaints.

Update with more details:

The e750 is indeed a joyful PDA! The high price and the lack of a built-in camera aside -but who really needs the latter, right? -it really comes close to being a master-of-all-trades device. I haven't tested the wireless features as much as I had hoped, due to the fact there just aren't many free hot spots around these days. But I'll update this review when I get more hands-on experience in this area.

In terms of everyday use this is a true workhorse. I'll talk more about the specs below, but the numbers don't really reveal how pleasant using the e750 is. The hundreds of annoyances that plagued the e740, its older cousin, have been fixed. There are far fewer crashes and syncs go more smoothly. At just 6.5 ounces, while not the lightest Pocket PC, you get something very close to a handheld computer, especially when you get the foldable keyboard!

The e750 has a total of 128MB of RAM, 32 of which is ROM, 32 is flash-ROM (which means content stored on it won't go away even if the battery is completely dead... think of it as a small hard disk without moving parts), and the rest 64 is true user-accessible RAM. Having a real 64MB to play with is a bliss, especially for someone like me who started out with 16MB on the Casio EM-500 and last saw 46MB on the HP iPaq 1910. The extra 18MB makes a big difference. Now I can play Doom and Quake at the same time!

Given the thin form factor of the e750, it still amazes me how it can feature both a Type I/II CompactFlash (CF) slot as well as a Secure Digital (SD) slot. Since wi-fi is already built-in, both can happily be used solely for storage expansion. The highest capacity for SD right now (as of April 2003) is 512MB, but that costs a small fortune. The best value belongs to 256MB cards, and I highly recommend the one from Lexar (see my review there). If you put in a 512MB SD and a 512MB CF, you'll get 1GB of extra storage for under one-hundred-fifty dolrs! The CF slot can probably be used for other peripherals; but the situation is not clear right now as to which CF peripherals will be supported in the e750.

The 3.8-inch (measured diagonally) screen is the largest among Pocket PCs on the market today, and the best from Toshiba so far. I personally like the screens on the iPaq 1910 and Viewsonic V35 better, but this screen is more than "good." The resolution is still PPC's standard 240x320, so it would be nice to see someday PPC manufacturers would go higher than that. I'd love a PPC the size of the e750 but with a 4" screen and 320x480 resolution!

There are a lot of optional accessories you can get for the e750, including the foldable keyboard and extended battery mentioned above. This is truly an exciting newcomer to the PPC family... one that looks and performs like a winner.

Buy Toshiba e750 Pocket PC Now

One of the great features about this unit is it's integrated WiFi capability. I've used it to browse web pages and it works quite well and is reasonably speedy.

Watch out for WEP

In the work environment it's often necessary to enable WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) on your WiFi connect to prevent data snooping or otherwise unauthorized access to a corporate network. Unfortunately here is where Toshiba's support doesn't equal the product quality of the hardware.

After spending several hours attempting to connect to a Wireless Access Point (WAP) using WEP 128bit mode and having no success, I used Toshiba's online chat support option to get some help. After explaining the problem I was told by the representative that they (Toshiba) don't support WEP. Rather odd since the Wireless LAN Utility allows you to configure WEP options.

So while this unit is great as an MP3 player or run-of-the-mill day planner, watch out if you plan to use it to use the wireless capability at work. You'll find that Toshiba doesn't provide good support for the needs of the corporate customer.

Read Best Reviews of Toshiba e750 Pocket PC Here

Purchasing the e750 is my first venture into the PDA world. Dropping my PAA (personal analog assistant, AKA my little black date book) was long overdue. I bought the unit 3 weeks ago...and the price has dropped since then. The newer units come with the new 2003 operating system so I'd reccomend buying directly from Toshiba or make sure you're getting the newest product. Our local retailers still have the older e750s on their shelves.

Did a lot of research prior to my purchase. This unit runs faster and more efficiently than the equivalent IPAQ...plus has built in CF and SD slots without having to add a "sleeve". Built in wi-fi was a must for me. Initially I couldn't get it to work with my home Linksys network, and utilized Toshiba's on-line (email) support staff. They answered my messages amazingly fast i.e. within one day and sometimes within an hour our two, even late at night (Pacific Std. Time). It turned out the e750 was fine...I had to upgrade my Linksys Firmware, a very simple process. Once that was accomplished, the unit accessed the network without any further effort.

There is a side button which accesses the voice recorder. Initially this is set to wake the system up...which is a real pain due to accidental activation. Luckily this function is easily disabled. Toshiba has a custom menuing system for organizing your programs. It's intuitive and I find it very useful.

The internal 32 Mbytes of NAND (nonvolatile memory) is very handy and makes for a simple way to backup the system. I do this every couple of days, and once per week copy the back up file to my PC just in case...

Downloaded programs are running as advertised: quickly and without any hangups. Have not had to either soft or hard reset the unit a single time due to system problems.

Be aware: if the the battery is allowed to completely discharge, you'll lose all information you haven't backed up. In addition, the unit comes with IA Presenter software for doing Powerpoint presentations directly from the e750. Unfortunately, the "expansion" kit which is required to connect to a digital projector isn't currently available (there is a discounted combination package of the expansion kit and a long life battery)...on "back order".

So, in short, the unit runs as advertised and has a beautiful screen. Can't wait for the expansion pack so I won't have to lug my portable PC to give presentations.

Want Toshiba e750 Pocket PC Discount?

This thing was a brick just a few months after I bought it, as it couldn't be upgraded to a new OS.

Toshiba supports its software exactly like Toyota supports its software.

Dell Axim X5 Pocket PC PDA Foldable Keyboard G7L0-001

Dell Axim X5 Pocket PC PDA Foldable Keyboard G7L0-001I used this keyboard for all of my undergraduate work. I had a PDA and a keyboard and it all fit in my pocket. I still don't have a better portable setup today ten years later!

It was great work of engineering to get the keyboard to slide up three high and then protected in a metal case. I still have it in my collection of great technology.

Con: Sometimes it would jam while closing.

This is a decent little keyboard. It is about the size of a scientific calculator when folded up, and expands to a little over 9.5" wide. It is fairly responsive, though the location of different keys takes a little bit of getting used to.

Though it may be because I am still acclimating myself to the product, I have found the space bar a little difficult to use fluidly. I think this is because the keyboard is more compact than a regular laptop or desktop keyboard. You can't relax your fingers as much while typing as you can with a regular keyboard. Additionally, the size of the keyboard causes the user to have their hands together more so than with a regular keyboard. If used for a long period, I think that it would cause wrist strain; it is not very ergonomic. I would not recommend trying to write a book using this keyboard with your PDA.

Also, while the keyboard is generally easy to fold up, if you don't pull the outside keys far enough from the middle, it doesn't fold up correctly when you push it back together. The outside keys overlap the middle keys.

Another tip: if you purchase the product used, I would recommend using an electronics cleaner on the contacts. While corrosion may not be visible to the naked eye, it can interfere with the PDA recognizing the keyboard.

If you can get past some of the issues inherent in using a PDA keyboard, I recommend this one strongly. While I am able to create Graffiti-like characters in PDAs, I find it faster to simply type if I can, since I am able to touch-type. That way I can input information into the PDA without needing to sync with programs (like MS Outlook) on my laptop or desktop (if I preferred to type instead of write).

HQRP Replacement Internal Li-Poly PDA / Handheld Battery for Palm Tungsten E T5 TX PalmOne & 2x Scre

HQRP Replacement Internal Li-Poly PDA / Handheld Battery for Palm Tungsten E T5 TX PalmOne & 2x Screwdriver + Installation Manual + Screen Protector

  • No Memory Effect, The battery can be recharged without loss of capacity;
  • CE and SGS-ISO-9001-2000 Certified; Fits Palm Tungsten E, T5, TX; 200 days warranty.

I installed this battery in my Tungsten E and fully charged it. It has not been performing as expected as it does not hold the charge. I frequently have to put it on the charger and on a few occasions lost all the information on the machine due to low power. I am retired and do not use the PDA as heavily as when I was at work yet the charge does not hold more than a day.

The leads are soldiered onto contacts upon a plastic strip. The leads, soldier and strip are thicker than the battery and protrude on the tape side (the battery is secured with double sided tape) preventing it from laying flat making the tape useless. And the Tungsten E has zero fault tolerance. I was able to close the case but now the buttons are not nearly so tight.

I had been using palm products since 1999. I had a Palm IIIX and later a Tungsten E model. When the battery was dead I decided to purchase a new one.

Since the newer devices seem to last more than a few days with a single charge, I expected the same from this product. It might not be the fault of the battery. Or it might be the fault of the Tungsten E device but the battery kept draining in a few days even if I did not constantly use the device.

As a result I gave up using my Tungsten a and that battery purchase was a dead investment for me.

Want HQRP Replacement Internal Li-Poly PDA / Handheld Battery for Palm Tungsten E T5 TX PalmOne & 2x Scre Discount?

I installed the battery on my Palm T|X. I can not be happier with the new battery. A full charge supported my continous video watching for hours, still plenty of juice left. I did not expect this battery to perform this well. Sure, a new battery on an iPod will do better, but I am not paying for that! The original Palm battery did not last much longer neither as I remember. I am appreciative, this battery saved my Palm from a trip to the recycling bin. I charge my devices everyday anyways, so it does not bother me to charge it often. People found his battery does not hold charge could be because they did not fully charge the battery. The battery indicator on Palm shows a full charge right after one unplugs the charger, even if the charging is not complete. So be patient do a thorough full 5 hour charge and the result will be better. The small screw drivers come with the battery is very thoughtful, I would never find such odd tool in my toolbox. The soldering work is quite simple. If one has a 40W solder gun, simple tipping on the end of the two wires will connect them to the board. Openning the back of the Palm is more challenging, hold the tabs back forcefully, felt like going to crack something. Not a big problem even if it does as there are four screws to hold the plate.

I looked at this kit and what others had to offer when I decided to bite the bullet and replace the battery in a Palm TX I'm still using (it has about 10 years of my travel history and makes a dandy travel alarm). I rejected this kit because while its battery may work for a Palm TX, the OEM battery is 1350mAh whereas the one in the kit is only 900mAh. Considering that it is non-trivial to change the battery I saw no point in skimping on it; i.e., this one is not a good choice. DirectFix and others sell batteries that match the OEM battery spec for between $10 and $20, which is well worth the few extra dollars given the effort required to make the replacement.

If you are willing to take this on it really isn't very hard, but be sure to check out a couple of the YouTube videos that take you through the process it will likely save you some angst. Note that the various techs in the videos do different amounts of disassembly, but if you are careful, you shouldn't need to do any more than open the case, fold it out, remove the old battery, and solder in the new one (yes, it has two wires that need to be soldered to the main circuit board, exactly like the old battery).

For the TX you will need a Torx #5 screwdriver to remove the back cover Home Depot sells a combo that has Torx 4, 5 and up for about $6 (Husky tools). The plastic case opening tool sold for all manner of devices like this one is quite helpful, although if you don't mind the minor scarring a screwdriver will produce in prying the case apart that will work, too. Since the old battery is glued to the inside of the case, it may take a bit of patience to work it loose ... I used a razor blade to break the glue membrane, speeding up the removal. Soldering in the new battery is easy if you have an appropriate iron just be careful you don't short anything out in the process ... I shuddered in watching a YouTube video that illustrated the process when the tech came perilously close to shorting his replacement battery by holding the leads side by side while removing their protective end caps. Likewise, in removing the old battery be careful to only cut one wire at a time (else you short any charge left in it across your clipper blade) and be cautious in soldering not to make more than a single contact to anything. If you've done any soldering at all to a circuit board you should be able to handle this easily it's only two easy to reach contact points. If you are a novice at soldering you may want to consider getting a more experienced friend to do the soldering.

Buy Car Mount with Flexible Gooseneck + 3.5mm Aux Cable (5 Ft.) for the HTC Evo 3D - Incl. DBROTH Microf Now

It was cheap, both in price and in function. For $10 bucks its really not bad at all. Comes with a 5ft cord if you have use for it and a microfiber cloth. These two things aside the suction cup doesn't work great for me, ended up switching to the vent mount which seems to be holding decent for the time being. While it works, it is cheap. Part of me wishes I would have sprung for a dock dedicated to my new device.

JAVOedge Poppy Axis Case for the Amazon Kindle Fire - Latest Generation
  • Specifically built for the Kindle Fire

  • Rotatable back cover acts as a kickstand to allow for hands-free viewing of the Fire
  • The Fire can be propped up in both the horizontal and vertical positions

I love my new kindle cover. I was surprised that the front with the flowers was smooth (I was expecting something like burlap), meaning that it snag on anything. The inside of the cover is like a black velvet finish, so your screen will definitely be protected, even if you don't have a clear shield over it. The kindle pops right into the back snugly. Definitely worth the price.

The product says it is for the amazon kindle fire, but they don't tell you which size. It seems that it is meant for the small, original fire, and not the 7-inch. If you have a 7 inch kindle fire, DO NOT BUY! If you have the small, regular kindle, then it seems like a nice product. Luckily, amazon has great customer service and i was able to return it.

Hammermill Color Copy Paper, 100 Brightness, 28lb, 8-1/2 x 11, Photo White, 500/Ream

Hammermill Color Copy Paper, 100 Brightness, 28lb, 8-1/2 x 11, Photo White, 500/Ream
  • Brightness Rating (International) - 115
  • Brightness Rating (US) - 100
  • Catalog Publishing Type - Office Paper-White
  • Compliance, Standards - SFI Certified
  • Coupon Cannon - 04-15-09(2)

I love this Hammermill 28lb paper--it is my primary paper for printing music because it is opaque; printing music double-sided works very well, with no "ghost" of the other side showing, like virtually all other paper I've tried. the 28lb is only a little bit heavier than typical 24lb paper, and is not too stiff. In fact, it is more like a slightly more durable 24lb paper.

The whiteness is a definite plus for artwork, but for some applications (like my music printing, it can actually be a slight minus, as music is typically printed on a cream paper to keep bright light from fatiguing the eyes).

I use this paper in all of its sizes: 8.5x11, 11x14, and 11x17. All are equally great and identical (except for size).

I really like this paper. It is great for text and photos.

With our Canon PIXMA MX892 Wireless Color Photo Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax, it prints just as well as a professional copy shop (or better!), at a fraction of the cost per page.

This is the paper the copy shop uses, and this is the paper we will always use when we want professional results.

Received this item in a very timely manner. It was purchased because a fountain pen enthusiast recommended this

weight paper for writing on. Have tried it and am I impressed. It is so smooth it is almost like writing on glass, but there

are no drawbacks. It doesn't bleed through, wont feather and takes about any pen (fountain or otherwise) well.

As far as copy paper goes it does excellent prints on my laser printer. I think the brightness really makes the fonts stand out.

Then tried it on a 6 color inkjet printer, wow, could not believe the colors it reproduced. Have decided I will use this

paper for all my proofs (goofs?) as it clearly beats the regular copy paper that I usually use.

You can't go wrong for the price. Recommended.

Proporta Nintendo DSi XL Waterproof Case - BeachBuoy

Proporta Nintendo DSi XL Waterproof Case - BeachBuoy
  • 100% Waterproof Case
  • Window dimensions: 115 x 88mm
  • Dimensions: 145 x 115mm
  • Closure System : two click seals and a velcro strip
  • Guaranteed waterproof to 5 metres/16 feet

Easy closure and so far seems to be waterproof, but can only be used with small items. This does not fit the DSi XL as Proporta claims. If I try to forcefully jam the XL into the pouch it will get part way in and then gets stuck. With electronics devices that are slimmer/narrower I can see this as a useful case for trips to the beach and pool.

It seems that Proporta are marketing this case on Amazon as a purpose built case for many different electronics devices do a search in Amazon on "Proporta Beachbuoy" to see a large range of Beachbuoy cases that are claimed to fit various specific electronics devices. As far as I can tell, though, these are all in fact the same case and so, if your electronics device is more than about 21cm around its cross-section, I would look elsewhere for a case.

Kinivo EB12X Portable Recharable Battery Pack - for iPad, iPhone, other tablets and smartphones (12,

Kinivo EB12X Portable Recharable Battery Pack - for iPad, iPhone, other tablets and smartphonesThis battery pack is a powerful tool to keep your USB tablet and phone charged on those long work days or while you are traveling. Many people like me are power users of their smart phones and tablets. I use several tablets every day and they have to be recharged every night and sometimes even during the day. It is hard to find a powerful mobile battery pack to recharge a high power tablet and this is about as big as you can find today on the market. This would be ideal for those long airline flights so you can watch your movies or listen to your music the entire trip, including while sitting in the airports.

If you are constantly using a tablet then you know that it will run out of power sometime during the day or evening. If you are not near an AC wall outlet with your charger or in your car with a charger what can you do? In addition many of the newer tablets are real power hungry devices and it takes a lot to recharge them. Here is a powerful battery pack with dual built in USB female ports for all of your devices. It can charge your Apple or Android devices or tablets with up to 2.1 Amps and really provide a boost to your tablet or smart phone.

This is a beautifully packaged charger that has some unique features built in. It uses Lithium-Ion Polymer battery technology and carries a specified 12000 mAh capacity. You should be aware that the battery pack has about 70% efficiency when used with your devices and is limited to about 8400 mAh charging capacity with your devices. I have included a video of the Kinivo EB12X's features and I hope it is helpful to you.

The kit includes:

* The battery back

* A velour case to carry it in

* A powerful AC wall charger rated at 5 VDC and 2 Amps

* A USB to micro USB cable for your Android and Kindle products

* A vehicle charger cord to recharge it while you drive

* A User manual

* Note you must use your own Apple cables to charge your Apple devices.

The unit weighs at 10 7/8 ounces and easily fits into a medium to larger size purse, computer bag or briefcase. Four LEDs indicate the battery charge level. I had good results in my testing and it charged my iPhone, iPad 3 and iPad 2 quickly.

This is a very good product and below I have listed its features and benefits as well as my test data for your review. Please take the time to quickly watch the video and if you have any questions send me a comment and I will try to help you. I rate this as a five star product and I recommend it to you.

Kinivo EB12X Main Features:

* The power output is 5 VDC at 2.1 Amp from the USB Port 2 connector

* Power output for the USB Port 1 is 5 VDC at 1 Amp.

* The battery pack can charge 2 devices simultaneously like an iPad and an iPhone (tested)

* Press the on button when you plug in a device and that begins the charge.

* Automatic off when your electronic device is charged.

* Uses Lithium-Ion Polymer battery design.

* The battery pack can be recharged 500 times

* Warranty is one year

* A powerful AC wall charger is included rated at 5 VDC and 2 Amps.

* The kit includes a car charger cable

* Massive 12,000 mAh capacity

* The unit is compact and weighs in at 10 7/8 ounces.

* Very attractive design

* It has 4 LED status lights that indicate the battery charge level

* You can charge it fully with the AC wall charger in about 7 hours.

* You have to use your own Apple cables to charge your devices

Performance while charging various devices with the Kinivo EB12X!

Kinivo EB12X 12000 mAh test data battery fully charged and an iPad 3 at 53% charged overnight to 100%

* I then took the same battery pack and an iPhone 4 at 72% and it charged the iPhone to 100% in 64 minutes.

* I then took the same partially discharged Kinivo EB12X battery pack and plugged it into my iPad 2 while it was at 62% charge. In 90 minutes the iPad 2 was at 88% and it stopped charging as the battery pack was dead.

* This is a good performance. These three charges out of the same battery pack consumed over 7,638 mAh of energy.

Limitations of device charging, here are the power requirements of some common electronic devices:

* iPhone 4 battery 1,420 mAh battery capacity

* iPhone 4S battery 1,432 mAh battery capacity

* iPad 2 battery 6,944 mAh battery capacity

* iPad 3 battery 11,560 mAh battery capacity

* Kindle Fire battery 4400 mAh capacity

* Kindle Keyboard battery 1750 mAh capacity

* iPhone 5 is 3.8 VDC at 5.45 Wh = 1434 mAh battery

* iPad 4 battery is 11,486 mAh 3.7 VDC at 42.5 Wh

* iPad Mini battery is 4490 mAh at 3.72 VDC 16.7 Wh

As you can see the Kinivo EB12X will not fully charge a totally dead iPad 3 or 4 because it only contains 12000 mAh of capacity. It will add substantially to your usage time and my suggestion is to turn off the iPad while charging or start charging very early and use the Kinivo EB12X battery first while saving as much of your iPad battery as possible. You have to consider the losses in the charging circuits of both the battery pack and the device you are charging.

Kinivo EB12X Device charging real world experience:

* iPhone 4 or 5 6+ full charges out of a fully charged Kinivo EB12X

* iPad 2 approximately 120% of a full charge

* iPad 3 or 4 approximately 73% of a full charge

* iPad Mini approximately 187% of a full charge

* Kindle Fire Approximately 190% of a full charge

* A realistic estimated usable storage at 70% of capacity or .70 * 12000 mAh = 8400 mAh charging capacity for your electronic devices.

This is a good product and deserves a 5 Star rating.

I received a sample product for evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.

I bought this because of its size to charge my iPod and phone, and I have to say it is wonderful. I can fully charge my iPod many times over before the battery even dips to 75% left. This was a very good deal.

Buy Kinivo EB12X Portable Recharable Battery Pack - for iPad, iPhone, other tablets and smartphones (12, Now

It functions as an adequate battery pack but its effectiveness and duration could be compromised if the small direction sheet is lost. You need to remember what the pack's two plugs are for, maximum time to leave it without recharging, and what the four LED lights indicate. A small plate on the bottom giving this information would have been helpful. HINT: For those who will not be using it frequently it would be a good idea to stick a piece of tape on it reminding you when the next recharge is due even if it has not been used during that time period.

Acer Predator AG3620-UR12 Gaming Desktop (Black)

Acer Predator AG3620-UR12 Gaming Desktop
  • 3rd Generation Intel Core i7- 3770 Processor - 3.4GHz (8MB Cache)
  • 32GB DDR3 RAM
  • 2 TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive, 16 GB Solid State Drive
  • AMD Radeon HD8760 Graphics Card with 2GB of Discrete Video Memory
  • Windows 8

I recently purchased this computer with the idea that I could replace my current setup. The configuration is great, a really strong computer. However, the listed RAM of 32GB cannot be fully used by the computer's motherboard. The Acer AG3620 motherboard can only handle up to 16GB total ram. Why Amazon would sell the computer like this, I am not sure.

PRO: Great computer, strong gaming choice for the price

CON: Motherboard cannot handle the amount of memory sold with this rig.

Do not know what the person who gave the first review knows about computers, he was not happy about the connection to the internet. nothing wrong with the wireless connection. just sent back a dell xps, with the same hardware as this computer, it was DOA. after spending two weeks with dell on the phone I sent it back. Ordered this Acer, and it started up, and is buy far a better computer. and the price was near a thousand dollars cheaper then the Dell XPS!!! if you are looking for a computer with all the features that came with this Acer, compare this one with the Dell XPS and you will see what I am talking about. I sent back the Dell monitor too, it was the Dell s2740l, and bought the same monitor from Amazon, guess what? it was forty dollars cheaper then Dell's price and came with a three year warranty. Dell's package deal for the Monitor and computer came with a one year monitor!! this computer ROCKS AND ROLLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! folks all I can say is look at this ACER and compare it to a dell then save yourself a thousand dollars Ron.

I sent this back. I opened the box and in no way was this the computer that was suppose to be in the box. It had a sticker on the side that said windows xp , it was blue and probably a 10 yr old tower. I noticed that the box had been opened and it was suppose to be new. So my opinion is that someoe returned the wrong item before me. It was a let-down. I ended up ordering directly from Acer.

Got this beast in the mail the other day and was so excited I could barely contain myself. Then I opened it... first I noticed that the keyboard and mouse that come with it were somewhat sub par especially since this is a gaming computer... but whatever. Then I notice that the ports where you plug in the wifi antennae in the back was loose and I had to screw those back in... OK I can deal with it. Then I realize that the monitor I bought to go with it didn't come with a dvi or hdmi cable and the vga port is disabled on the back of this tower so I ran out and bought a dvi to hdmi cable... OK another 47 bucks and half an hour wasted... I can still deal.

THEN I GO TO START UP WINDOWS 8.... this is when the real fun starts. I start the computer and it takes me to the welcome screen and the straight to a BSOD (blue screen of death) involving the error code 0xc0000001. After a little research, I realize that this means that there is something wrong with the installation of Windows 8 on my brand new out of the box computer and I am quite angered by this. After some yelling at barely understandable technicians from Acer, I came to terms with the fact that I would need to reinstall or figure out some way to enter recovery mode. Acer's suggestion was to purchase their Windows 8 Recovery CD...ok...which costs 19.95, that I have to pay.... and that comes in 5-10 business days.... AND ITS A PACKAGE I HAVE TO FLIPPIN SIGN FOR????? I work gosh darn it. I was so frustrated that I just said forget it and hung up. I then found that you could download a recovery file from another Windows 8 onto a USB or other external device, plug that in, boot from that (by going into BIOS and changing the boot options), and then you get into recovery mode. OK so i did all that because my cousin fortunately has windows 8 installed on his computer and then got to the recovery mode and then tried the automatic repair option. Obviously that didn't work so then I clicked the reset my pc option. It said all my files would be wiped but I didnt have any so I said fine and did it. SUCCESS! I finally got Windows 8 to boot and such but then I realized it wasn't activated.... uggg.. then I restarted it again to try and activate it but then it stopped working completely.... i hate windows 8 and acer so much right now... but for the few brief moments that I did get to use it it was gaming heaven for the price.... im waiting on the recovery disk now from acer.... grrrr......
