Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer and 2 GB Built-in Memory (Black)

Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer and 2 GB Built-in Memory
  • Built-in laser pointer helps you highlight key points
  • 2.4 GHz wireless receiver for long-range use up to 30 feet
  • 2GB built-in memory allows you to store your presentations
  • USB wireless receiver stores inside the pointer; low battery indicator
  • Compatible with Windows 8

I own a Kensington 33374, the predecessor to this product and one of the most popular wireless presenters on Amazon. As I wrote in my 4-star review of that device back in March of this year: "One way that Kensington could make their next model more useful would be for the USB adapter to double as a thumbdrive. Since you'll be plugging it into the host computer anyway, why not put your presentation on it?"

My prayers were answered.

This model is practically identical to its predecessor; why mess with a good design? (The 33374 currently has 152 customer reviews averaging 4.5 stars.) It lacks the heft, chrome and fancy features of high-end presenter models--there are no programmable buttons, no mousing capability--but has all of the basics down pat: Just plug the tiny USB dongle into the computer you want to use (there are no drivers needed on any recent version of Windows or Mac OS X), then use the left and right arrows to flip from slide to slide and the top arrow to point a bright red laser point. (The lower button toggles blackout mode in PowerPoint, which is nice if you want to focus your audience's attention on something other than the slides for a moment.) It's simple, comfortable--and now it has 1GB of storage, enough for hundreds of ordinary PowerPoint presentations. The design is also slightly improved by replacing the distracting flash of metal around the controls with a high-contrast black color.

Any downsides? The price point is significantly higher, so you should think about whether the convenience of the built-in memory is worth it. One of the great features of the device is that the USB dongle slides right in when it's not in use. Some people keep a USB thumbdrive on them at all times. If you do, and if the computers you're going to be presenting on are sure to have 2 open USB ports, then you could save yourself a few bucks with the older model. But if you enjoy having everything in one single, simple package, then the premium is well worth it.

I love well designed products that have a clear functional target and meet it. This item does that. It is so hard sometimes for designers and marketers to keep from throwing extras that end up cluttering up the usefulness of something. This presentation tool is simple, elegant, and does what it needs to do very well.

Simple: When I am walking a group through a presentation, the last thing I want is to fumble finger some complicated remote. I've got my mind on a million other things and want SIMPLE technology that WORKS. From trying this with my laptop, the install was simple (plug in the USB receiver), the response is quick, and the buttons are obvious (other than the button that looks like a stop which is actually a black screen, but use this once and you got it). Simple.

Elegant: Each piece of functional design on this device is well done. Having on-board memory with the USB receiver is smart thinking. Storing the receiver in the device and at the same time, using that as a means to toggle the device on and off is clean, well thought out design. The tactile feel and heft just feels good.

Ergonomic: 4 buttons, each with a solid use to a presenter: forward, back, laser, and screen blank is all that is needed and is all that is present. Nice. As someone who does loads of presentations, that's all you need until you get into the realm of an air mouse Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse). I have large hands and don't want something the size of a car remote, this device feels comfortable in my hands without being too large and clunky.

The Bad:

So, why the 3 stars? There is just no getting around the price of this item. At the time of the review, the price is way too high. Price it around $35 (less than half the current price) and many people would be looking at this. A few more dollars over the current price and you have an air mouse, much more functionality. Heck, you can get a Kensington mouse with similar wireless functionality for presentations (no memory though) that is less than half the price... Kensington SlimBlade Presenter Mouse, Wireless Mouse and Presenter in One (Ice Blue) K72283US. Oh, and the manual is just horrible. Trying to put all the languages after each other is so bad, confusing, and useless that I am astounded that anyone at Kensington agreed to print it. Thankfully the manual is not a reflection of their product.

So, while I would like to shake the hands of the design team, either they put way too expensive components in this device or the pricing team for Kensington bumped their heads one too many times. No way does the current price point make sense.

Pros:

simple, easy to use functionality that works

well thought out design

great heft and feel to it

USB memory is nice

Neutral:

laser is ok, but would be GREAT if it were the green ones out now

Cons:

price

terrible manual

When I received the Kensington Wireless Presenter, I was hoping it would help me with my Powerpoint Presentations which I give to my students. I'm an elementary school librarian, and often have to sit desk-bound behind the children while they watch the screen and instruct them while they are facing away from me. This "wireless presenter" (which is simply a combined remote control/laser pointer) is very handy in allowing me to stand in front of the children, by the screen and point and click my way through Powerpoint presentations without having to stand by the computer. Simply load the presentation onto the flash-drive which is included, start the presentation from the flash-drive, and then direct it forward or back using the remote. The cost for this presenter is the sticking point, $75 my computer specialist here at school bought several wireless mouses (with laser pointers) for teachers at her other school for a mere $45, and it not only could do everything this remote could do, it also was a mouse for the computer. Cheaper, and more useful all around. The instructions included are next to useless (in eleven different languages!) but it's a simple device, and even computer novices should have little trouble in figuring it out.

When I first got the presenter it was great. Then the day I needed it for a presentation (after testing it the day before), it stopped working. Called Kensington to have them send a replacement. After waiting over a month, the new one arrived and was DOA. Called again to have it replaced and never received the replacement. Just called back after waiting 2 months and they send they will send another one. Last Kensington product I'll ever purchase.

I ordered this product in the 11th hour and Amazon came thru with a Saturday morning delivery. Great service! Having ordered a different pointer, I found the "other" one to be small, and it would rotate in my hand so it was difficult to use. This pointer feels great in my hand. I am able to hang on to it, and can easily find the presentation buttons without having to look down at the pointer. Very comfortable to hold.

I received complaints from attendees regarding the quality of the laser. It's not bright or bold enough for attendees to immediately find where I am pointing on my presentation. Dissapointment.

While I like the idea of the USB 1 GB Memory stick which inserts into the base for storage and turning OFF the pointer, it is NOT a feature I ended up liking. In four days I went thru 4 batteries (2-AA batteries each). They say the batteries should last a year. To get the stick out of the base, you must push in, for it to pop out. While the pointer was in my briefcase, the stick released, causing the batteries to be activated. I now have to take out the batteries after every presentation to ensure the life of my batteries. UGH! What a time stealer.

Come on Kensington, step up and make these minimal improvements and you would have an outstanding pointer.

Toshiba Thrive State of the Art Dual-Tip Aluminum Stylus Pen

Toshiba Thrive State of the Art Dual-Tip Aluminum Stylus Pen
  • 3 Functions in 1 Pen: Laser Pointer, Flash Light, & Stylus!!!
  • Strong and durable aluminum body!!!
  • Lightweight and fits easily in pocket, purse or backpack!!!
  • Soft rubber tip guaranteed not to scratch or damage your screen!!!
  • White finish gives this pen an eye catching professional look!!!

Only giving this product two stars because I'm not really happy at the fact that the whole reason I bought this product was for the pointy pen end, and it doesn't work. I bought this for my husband to use on his tab and upon receiving it, the pointy end isn't recognized by his tab, even with the touch sensetivity turned to 100%. The rubber end works perfectly but I bought this primarily for the pointy end. A bit disappointing, and not with the price in my opinion.

I wasn't sure whether I would really need this for use with my Toshiba Thrive, but found that in places where text is tiny, it makes selection easier by not making you zoom in just to select a link. The stylus is solidly built and the rubberized end keeps it from damaging the screen through repeated use. It is also handy for apps that allow coarse freehand writing or drawing on the screen. The biggest plus is that it keeps your fingers off of the screen, which is very prone to finger prints and smudges. It has turned out to be a very handy tool to use with my tablet and would suggest getting one to anyone with a tablet.

Update: Only the blunt end seems to have effect, the pointy end won't work with the apps I have. However, the blunt end is sufficient for what I do.

I really like this product, but finding replacement batteries is a pain in the but. This product worked just great until the batteries went dead. I bought new batteries the same size, but the new ones did not work in this stylus. I ended up using one original battery, and two new ones to get the lights to work again. I've used the stylus consistently for over six months and its still in good shape. I do not plan buying another one.

I'm an old stuff collector, not officially but I use my electronics until they die, so my very old iPaq handheld is still kicking and working like a charm, the whole thing all over wi-fi, email, slingplayer, full internet browser, etc, but the battery and the power adapter died so this was a life saver for my iPaq.

2nd Generation Audio FM Transmitter / Internet Music Adapter plus integrated Car Charger for the Motorola ATRIX 4G with Gomadic TipExchange
  • Allows your Motorola ATRIX 4G to transmit clear; rich audio while simultaneously powering/recharging.
  • 2nd Generation version incorporates a more powerful charging circuit; better FM signal isolation and higher output for clear; rich sound
  • Full FM frequency spectrum selectable (88.1 to 107.9 MHz). Advanced Digital PLL sound coding maintains stable and high quality sound
  • Optimized for use with Internet music services such as Pandora; Slacker; Rhapsody and more!
  • Buy with confidence! Product is backed by Gomadics comprehensive lifetime warranty

I'm a little unhappy with this, but for the price can't complain too much. :/ I haven't had it for two full weeks yet and part of the display stopped working. Something I like, though, is the length of the cords (very nice), but the power cable charges my Motorola ATRIX 4g sooooooooo slowly, it's not even worth plugging in. I just use the factory cord with a USB adapter for the car now. It gets decent sound to my car, and that's the whole reason I bought it, so in the end is worth the little money I paid.

Well, I ignorantly disregarded the reviews that said this battery didn't fit the 330 or 340 and am currently paying the price. I have a c320. This battery doesn't work and their customer nonservice is absolutely stunning. One email a day is all you get even when I respnded at 6AM to one of theirs. They said they have never heard of this problem. I don't buy that because they must get copies of reviews sent to them. So if you get the right battery from them they might be okay but if you don't be prepared for long slow agonizing time delays for any response. To summarize

IF YOU HAVE THE GARMIN C3XX SERIES DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

Want HQRP Replacement Battery for IA3AB07B1A97 TomTom Go 510 / 910 plus HQRP Universal Screen Protector Discount?

Battery contains three wires, mine only two. Never used it. I would not purchase it again. I was going to use it to repair my garmin gps.

Received the battery yesterday and replaced the old one in my Garmin C330 last nigtht. Followed wayne1939's instructions on wiring the new battery and it worked great. Thanks wayne1939! I opted to use small heat shrink tube instead of electrical tape. Charged the unit overnight and this morning it's holding a charge. So far, so good.

This battery is not an exact replacement for the OEM battery. You will have to do some wire cutting and soldering to get it to work. But if you're handy with a soldering iron, this battery appears to work just fine. Other wire connection methods might work, but the wires are very thin and soldering seems to be the best option.

Toshiba e750 Pocket PC

Toshiba e750 Pocket PC
  • Crisp 3.8'' color display
  • 96MB of storage capacity
  • Intel PXA255 processor
  • Integrated Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b) wireless LAN allows secure access to the Internet
  • What's in the box: Toshiba Pocket PC e750, USB Cradle, 10W AC Adapter, 1-Stylus, Soft Slip Case, Quick Start Card, Warranty Card

(Note: The only difference between the e750 and e755 is that the latter e755 comes with a photo viewer software title on the companion CD. In fact, the machine in the e755 packaging says "e750".)

Featuring a new mobile processor, the most internal memory of any PDA (64MB RAM plus 64MB non-RAM for a total of 128MB), built-in 802.11b wi-fi, the best PDA screen from Toshiba so far. and good battery life, the e750/e755 is close to being perfect. The compact (0.6 inches thin) and attractive form factor is a huge plus, as well.

The new Intel processor (PXA255 running at 400Mhz) is without doubt the star of the new line-up. It's an updated version of the first-gen Xscalar processor, which wasn't getting good reviews due to lack of optimization options. The e750/e755 *is* optimized for the new processor, which results in speedy application launches and operations. Nothing gives a Pocket PC user more pleasure than seeing his/her favorite app come up instantly. The e750 also allows you to switch between two speeds, hence you can choose between higher speed or better battery life. Even at the lower speed, PPC apps feel quick and responsive. The LiIon battery is user replaceable, and an optional "extended" battery is available now from Toshiba.

What's left to improve for Toshiba is their lackluster customer support. Because their PPCs are made by an OEM in Taiwan rather than in their own plants in Japan, the build quality is still a bit lacking, but the e750/e755 seems to be better made than the e740, which was getting a lot of complaints.

Update with more details:

The e750 is indeed a joyful PDA! The high price and the lack of a built-in camera aside -but who really needs the latter, right? -it really comes close to being a master-of-all-trades device. I haven't tested the wireless features as much as I had hoped, due to the fact there just aren't many free hot spots around these days. But I'll update this review when I get more hands-on experience in this area.

In terms of everyday use this is a true workhorse. I'll talk more about the specs below, but the numbers don't really reveal how pleasant using the e750 is. The hundreds of annoyances that plagued the e740, its older cousin, have been fixed. There are far fewer crashes and syncs go more smoothly. At just 6.5 ounces, while not the lightest Pocket PC, you get something very close to a handheld computer, especially when you get the foldable keyboard!

The e750 has a total of 128MB of RAM, 32 of which is ROM, 32 is flash-ROM (which means content stored on it won't go away even if the battery is completely dead... think of it as a small hard disk without moving parts), and the rest 64 is true user-accessible RAM. Having a real 64MB to play with is a bliss, especially for someone like me who started out with 16MB on the Casio EM-500 and last saw 46MB on the HP iPaq 1910. The extra 18MB makes a big difference. Now I can play Doom and Quake at the same time!

Given the thin form factor of the e750, it still amazes me how it can feature both a Type I/II CompactFlash (CF) slot as well as a Secure Digital (SD) slot. Since wi-fi is already built-in, both can happily be used solely for storage expansion. The highest capacity for SD right now (as of April 2003) is 512MB, but that costs a small fortune. The best value belongs to 256MB cards, and I highly recommend the one from Lexar (see my review there). If you put in a 512MB SD and a 512MB CF, you'll get 1GB of extra storage for under one-hundred-fifty dolrs! The CF slot can probably be used for other peripherals; but the situation is not clear right now as to which CF peripherals will be supported in the e750.

The 3.8-inch (measured diagonally) screen is the largest among Pocket PCs on the market today, and the best from Toshiba so far. I personally like the screens on the iPaq 1910 and Viewsonic V35 better, but this screen is more than "good." The resolution is still PPC's standard 240x320, so it would be nice to see someday PPC manufacturers would go higher than that. I'd love a PPC the size of the e750 but with a 4" screen and 320x480 resolution!

There are a lot of optional accessories you can get for the e750, including the foldable keyboard and extended battery mentioned above. This is truly an exciting newcomer to the PPC family... one that looks and performs like a winner.

Buy Toshiba e750 Pocket PC Now

One of the great features about this unit is it's integrated WiFi capability. I've used it to browse web pages and it works quite well and is reasonably speedy.

Watch out for WEP

In the work environment it's often necessary to enable WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) on your WiFi connect to prevent data snooping or otherwise unauthorized access to a corporate network. Unfortunately here is where Toshiba's support doesn't equal the product quality of the hardware.

After spending several hours attempting to connect to a Wireless Access Point (WAP) using WEP 128bit mode and having no success, I used Toshiba's online chat support option to get some help. After explaining the problem I was told by the representative that they (Toshiba) don't support WEP. Rather odd since the Wireless LAN Utility allows you to configure WEP options.

So while this unit is great as an MP3 player or run-of-the-mill day planner, watch out if you plan to use it to use the wireless capability at work. You'll find that Toshiba doesn't provide good support for the needs of the corporate customer.

Purchasing the e750 is my first venture into the PDA world. Dropping my PAA (personal analog assistant, AKA my little black date book) was long overdue. I bought the unit 3 weeks ago...and the price has dropped since then. The newer units come with the new 2003 operating system so I'd reccomend buying directly from Toshiba or make sure you're getting the newest product. Our local retailers still have the older e750s on their shelves.

Did a lot of research prior to my purchase. This unit runs faster and more efficiently than the equivalent IPAQ...plus has built in CF and SD slots without having to add a "sleeve". Built in wi-fi was a must for me. Initially I couldn't get it to work with my home Linksys network, and utilized Toshiba's on-line (email) support staff. They answered my messages amazingly fast i.e. within one day and sometimes within an hour our two, even late at night (Pacific Std. Time). It turned out the e750 was fine...I had to upgrade my Linksys Firmware, a very simple process. Once that was accomplished, the unit accessed the network without any further effort.

There is a side button which accesses the voice recorder. Initially this is set to wake the system up...which is a real pain due to accidental activation. Luckily this function is easily disabled. Toshiba has a custom menuing system for organizing your programs. It's intuitive and I find it very useful.

The internal 32 Mbytes of NAND (nonvolatile memory) is very handy and makes for a simple way to backup the system. I do this every couple of days, and once per week copy the back up file to my PC just in case...

Downloaded programs are running as advertised: quickly and without any hangups. Have not had to either soft or hard reset the unit a single time due to system problems.

Be aware: if the the battery is allowed to completely discharge, you'll lose all information you haven't backed up. In addition, the unit comes with IA Presenter software for doing Powerpoint presentations directly from the e750. Unfortunately, the "expansion" kit which is required to connect to a digital projector isn't currently available (there is a discounted combination package of the expansion kit and a long life battery)...on "back order".

So, in short, the unit runs as advertised and has a beautiful screen. Can't wait for the expansion pack so I won't have to lug my portable PC to give presentations.

Want Toshiba e750 Pocket PC Discount?

This thing was a brick just a few months after I bought it, as it couldn't be upgraded to a new OS.

Toshiba supports its software exactly like Toyota supports its software.

It charges alright, and from just about anwhere you can find electricity. However, the term "PowerSync" might lead some to believe (like me) that one can also preform the Hotsync function with the suplied cables not so, at least mine does nothing. Apparently, it's just a charger.

I was excited to see a car charger for the nextbook, since I listen to books on tape while driving. The little prong did not fit into the next book. Looking at this picture there was something missing in the package. It appears that there was supposed to be a little adaptor also. where was it??? Where do I buy it??? so though this would be a wonderful addition to car I can't use it, and it is sitting in the "spend more money, don't get to use it pile". I went to local stores, they don't have an adpator. I'm sad.

for the price, and the fact you dont need a computer nearby to charge your phone, this is great for leaving in the car with a pack of batteries. it's clunky in a purse, so best left in a car or in your bag. otherwise, great emergency accessory to have. i'm surprised these guys haven't gone in with all those lame emergency roadside kit companies, because this is actually something you will use, not a band aid or a plastic rain cover.

They should note that this is a universal mount, not custom for the xoom but either way it works fine. We used it on a 8 hour trip to Chicago with my 2 year old daughter occasionally kicking at the screen and it worked well. It did move when she kicked it but it never dropped the Xoom. A good mount overall and I'd recommend it at the cost. I'd give it three stars if it was priced any higher though.

I have a Yukon Denali XL. The hook attachment doesn't come all that close to fitting the headrest in any way. The plastic is thin and easily broken. How easily? One of the two I ordered was broken when I bought it. I mounted the other, shoved the headrest down to secure the poorly fitted mount and put the Xoom on it and it shook like wild in a still car. I could imagine this being impossible to use while driving. I purchased another headrest mount I left a review for. I recommend that one for the Xoom if you're looking.

PDair B41 Black Leather Case for Samsung Infuse 4G SGH-i997

PDair B41 Black Leather Case for Samsung Infuse 4G SGH-i997I ordered this product(PDair B41 Black Leather Case for Samsung Infuse 4G SGH-i997) on Feb 20 through Amazon for my Samsung Infuse and almost cancel the order when I realized the estimated delivery date shown was April 2. Contacted the seller for order cancellation but was advised that product had been shipped and usually delivered within 7 20 days after the purchase. During this process, the seller responded very quickly to my concern and very cooperative that they even provided me RMA number to process a full refund. 7 20 days estimated delivery date is definitely doable for me to wait, so I decided to keep my order, and guess what, I received the package on Feb 27, just 7 days after the date of purchase!!

The leather case came in a nice PDair box, nicely wrapped too! It meets my expectation, hard cover front and back, it holds the Infuse properly not too tight but not too loose either the magnetic stud makes it easy to open and close the case. There are 2 business card/credit card holders on the inner side of the front cover. The back cover has camera opening, so I don't have to pull the phone out from the case if I want to use the camera. It also came with a belt clip which I'm not going to use since I will be pretty much keeping the phone in my purse. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and the seller. Quick respond, very cooperative, fast delivery, nice packaging, and great leather case. I am one happy customer! And in addition to that, I purchased this product with Amazon reward card offer, so when I signed up for the card, Amazon gave me an instant $30 off that applied immediately to my purchase. I basically bought this case for just $1.99. Thank you Amazon!

I really like this case for my ZTE Score Android phone. I like the rubberized feel and protection that it gives my phone. The reason I only gave it 4 stars, was because it did not come with a tool to take the case off, so I have worn away some of the rubber stuff on the sides of the case where the front and back pieces snap together. Other than being kind of a pain to take off, this case is gorgeous and I would buy it again! =)

Green Zebra Strips Snap on Hard Protective Cover Case for for Samsung Flight II A927 + Microfiber Po

Green Zebra Strips Snap on Hard Protective Cover Case for for Samsung Flight II A927 + Microfiber Pouch BagMy 11 yr old daughter has the flight II phone, and has dropped it a time or two. We looked all over for a snap on case that fit her quirky style. She loves this, and at the price Momma was happy, too! It snaps on firmly and securely, but still allows the keyboard to slide out easily. My only suggestion would be to have the case rubberized or coated... I do feel like it might scratch or possibly crack if dropped... But, better the case than the phone! Still very happy with the case, and the seller's super speedy shipping!

I bought this product for a Windows Mobile 6.5 PDA. After installing all new versions of software onto desktop computers, the file conversion and transfer from desktop to the PDA is easy. The file was compressed about 20 times (35M to 1.7M). I tried to use this ShowMate to do Powerpoint presentation onto a projector. The recognition of ShowMate by the projector was very smooth and the screen of the projector showed ShowMate and indicated trying connection between the PDA and the ShowMate. Once opening the software Impatica Projector in the PDA, it searched bluetooth device and found the ShowMate easily; it then popped up for passcode. After inputting passcode, it always showed CANNOT CONNECT, but in many cases it connected and started file transfer. The resolution of the powerpoint slides were great, but I had problems with bluetooth connection (lost connection) when a individual silde size is too big. So I think this device would be great for files with small size for each slide (e.g. most text in the slide), but it is not working for slides of large size. I think the problem was, when it transfers a slide with large size, the memory of the ShowMate is not enough so it interferes with bluetooth connection. This device might be good for people who present mostly texts but not big-sized images. My slides contain many scientific images having pretty large size, it did not work well.

On the other hand, the Screen Projector software works very well in my hand. It may need to change your screen settings in your PDA in order to have a correct image direction of your PDA screen onto the projector screen. The transfer speed is not very fast but endurable. You can notice obvious delay from your PDA to the projector. But it is very good to have the screen projection function of this device. Anything showing on your PDA screen is showing on the projector screen. Original PowerPoint slides (without compression by the Impatica software) in your PDA can be projected to the projector screen by using Screen Projector software but the resolution is clearly reduced (no resolution reduction when using Impatica Projector).

Overall, it is a interesting device for handhelds computers and Windows phones, but it still needs improvement for its wider use.

I really tried to get this to work with my AAXA M2 micro projector. http://www.amazon.com/AAXA-TECHNOLOGIES-M2-Micro-Projector/dp/B004BM2OS4 as I think it would be a perfect companion.

But I couldn't. After installing the drivers, I had problems "putting" the file on my Blackberry Curve (AT&T). I even tried downloading the newest version on the Impatica's website, but I still couldn't do it. I'm sure it's pretty cool if it works, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to work...

This works well with my Blackberry Storm2! When I read the other review on here, I was skeptical. But at $34 I had to try this since the Blackberry Presenter is so expensive ($165)! I was presenting from my Palm based unit successfully a long time ago and have been waiting for Blackberry to get up to speed on this! The first thing out of the box you have an insert telling you to update the software from the website. If you are not tech savvy, this may be a challenge for some, but there are good instructions. I did not even bother with the enclosed CD but went right to the web site and downloaded all the software so I don't know how well it would work with the enclosed CD. However, I did not have to follow instructions until I connected to my Blackberry by bluetooth. This unit has the ability to connect to the Blackberry through both a USB connection and a bluetooth connection, and both worked very well. I did not get the delays that the other review mentioned.

There were some Cons I came across though. You have to convert the slides from Powerpoint to the viewers format. This may be a pain for someone who never used previous presenters for the Palm or Pocket PC. Also, there were three slides out of a presentation of 102 slides with mostly pictures in it that did not convert over. One of them was an Excel graph object and I was able to save the graph as a picture from the powerpoint presentation (this feature is available in Powerpoint 2007 not sure of earlier versions) and reinsert it into the slide. Then I processed the presentation through the conversion software again and it converted OK. The software did warn me that there was an error with one of the objects in slide number 49 so I was able to know which slide was involved. However, it did not warn me of the other two slides. They were both pictures and I still do not know why they didn't convert. I was able to save both of these as pictures from powerpoint as well and reinsert them and the software was then able to convert them. If the software worked better, I would rate this as a 5 star because it did work very well with my blackberry. I was able to connect easily both by USB and by bluetooth. I was able to project my Blackberry screen from the blackberry connection software on my blackberry and I was able to show a powerpoint show from the blackberry presentation software on my blackberry.

Pros:

It works!

It only costs around $30 when the Blackberry Presenter costs $165 here on Amazon as of this writing.

Has both USB and Bluetooth connections for Blackberry

Cons:

You have to convert the powerpoint file.

The conversion software does not work seamlessly or flawlessly in converting all slides.

Software for the PC and the Blackberry is necessary and may intimidate some people.

Has SVGA resolution and NO XVGA but this does not matter that much to me.

Over all I am very pleased with this little unit!

The leather starts wearing off around the edges soon after use, but the case fits well and protects it. The rest of the kit is very handy. I just wish the case was a little more durable.

NFL Atlanta Falcons Deluxe iPad Case,11.5x8.5-Inch

NFL Atlanta Falcons Deluxe iPad Case,11.5x8.5-InchI bought the Falcons case for my husband for his birthday. He is really enjoying it so far. Seems sturdy and the strap is adjustable. One little quibble my case had a visible double seam on the front, it took away from the looks a bit, but it is a nice case for a sports fan.
