Title

TitleI had a Body Glove on a phone prior to purchasing my smart-phone & it served me very well. Unfortunately, this one for my smart-phone did not hold up well. I had to open the case for whatever reason on a couple occasions to access the internals of my phone; the case was difficult to open & did not reseal or close tightly again where the two covers converge. I now have a rubber Trident I got off of e-bay which has worked better for me.

Dymo LetraTag Plus LT-100H Personal Label Maker

Dymo LetraTag Plus LT-100H Personal Label Maker
  • 2-Line printing
  • Direct-thermal print technology saves you money - no ribbons, ink or toner cartridges needed
  • Auto-off power saver
  • Added navigation key with easy to use scroll menus
  • 3 Language options (English, Spanish and French)

I have been desperately trying to get organized, and when I found this gizmo from heaven at a heavenly price, naturally I jumped on it. After a few weeks of labeling frenzy, much like one of my other fellow reviewers, the tops of my labels started fading, then the middles, and soon the entire text of all my labels, poof! disapparated! Yes! I am a Harry Potter fan, but not for my labels in invisible ink. Tried all of the suggestions from the website. Cleaning, changing batteries, labels, cartridges. No luck. Still shooting blanks. Of course no way to put in new ink cartridges and it seems like the ink ran out. So waiting to hear back from customer service. Will post back, when and if I do. Really sad-that my labeling frenzy has been thwarted!!

I was very excited about getting a labelmaker, and after some research, settled on the LetraTag. It seemed fairly priced and was just what I needed.

I made a couple of labels and was pleased the dozens of symbols and various fonts that the LetraTag offers are fun. Unfortunately, after only a few uses, the labels came out faded. I switched the label cartridge, but the next label came out almost completely blank. I cleaned the inside with the little brush, changed the batteries, and tried a power adapter all of the suggestions on the Dymo website. None of these worked. I e-mailed Dymo's customer support; they were relatively nice and sent me a new one. I had to send a couple more e-mails, however, to find out if they wanted the broken one back (they didn't).

I was excited to get my new labelmaker, but this time the first label came out faded. Then the second. And the third had barely a fleck of ink. Now I have two brand-new labelmakers that won't make labels.

Either I have a crazy electrical force field like Sean Patrick Flanery in Powder or this product stinks. I'm betting on the latter, and would not recommend this labelmaker to anyone.

I bought this label maker based on price comparisons and multiple types of labels available. Once you get used to the buttons/functions, it is pretty good device. The magnetic labels do not have a great "stickability". More importantly, I did have a problem when using the basic white label cartridge. During early use, it began to make bad labels. After reading troubleshooting section of manual, I replaced the label cartridge with a new one, and that fixed it. But I wonder why is that needed, and how often is that needed especially since they mention that in the manual? I did send customer service a message regarding this and am waiting on their response. I will follow up on this review based on what they say, if anything.

Each time I go to use this I find another little irritating thing about it. My main complaint is the size of the type. Oh, you can choose from several sizes, but that is only for width, not height of the letters. I.E. Extra Large prints the letters twice as wide as the Large size, but still only 3/16ths of an inch high, making them very difficult to read (and using twice as much tape, of course).

The Preview button only shows you the letters that will print, and the Size function shows the letters taller, not wider, and it is very misleading. It would be nice if you could see what the actual label would look like, and if it would print on more of the width of the tape, not just on a narrow 3/16th inch band.

I'd prefer a QWERTY type keyboard over the alphabetical one provided.

The labels are easy to apply and to remove without residue, and remain on the packages in the freezer (which is my main use for the product). I like the fact you can stick the entire device on the side of the refrigerator with the powerful magnet holder.

This is a terrific little tool and an inspiration to become more organized. Good for labeling kids' items too. I use the plastic label tape for things that get wet, such as a water bottle kept in the fridge. So far they have stayed on & I'm very pleased with it. My one slightly-negative comment is that the font size default cannot be changed default size is large, but I'd prefer medium it's plenty big and would save tape. So I have to change the size each time I print something. But still... easy to use, doesn't take up much storage space and I love it. If Dymo would produce colored tape (I've only found white and clear) that'd be even better!

PalmOne P10958U 3-Stylus Pack for Tungsten W, C and E Units

PalmOne P10958U 3-Stylus Pack for Tungsten W, C and E Units
  • Don't get stuck without a stylus!
  • Three fully assembled PALM Tungsten E styli, packaged with 3 replacement Tungsten C/W quills
  • Compatible with Tungsten E, C & W models

Love them! Love them! Love them! I wish these products were still available in stores, but they are not and they are getting harder and harder to find online. The ones I received were new, and function perfectly. I would recommend them to anyone still using Palm Pilots. I still use mine despite having a telephone with all of the features and more. I will use it until it no longer functions, which I hope is never. Now all I have to do is not misplace my stylus.

Targus PA810U Stowaway Portable Keyboard for Handspring Visor Edge

Targus PA810U Stowaway Portable Keyboard for Handspring Visor Edge
  • Work Faster. Save More Time with The Stowaway Portable Keyboard
  • Quickly Type Meaningful Email Messages, Notes or Data All On Your Handspring Visor Edge.
  • Alleviates The Frustration of Relying On Graffiti to Enter Data or Pecking At Cough-Drop Size Keys with Your Stylus.
  • Folds to Fit In Your Pocket or Purse
  • Special Keys Link Directly to Visor Calendar, Address Book, to Do List, and Memo Applications

Nice solid construction. Clever way of folding up compactly so that it's about the same size as my Visor Edge. I have found two minor problems with using it.

Until you get used to it, attaching my PDA to the keyboard is tricky. This is probably due the way Handspring designed the connector and not the fault of Targus.

The other problem I have is most of the time when I connect the keyboard to my PDA the keyboard won't work unless I detach it, disable the keyboard in the Keyboard program, reattach the keyboard, reattach the keyboard, and then reenable the keyboard software.

With some experimentation I found that if I just disable the keyboard software before detaching the keyboard, I didn't have this problem. The drawback is remembering to disable before detachment, and enabling after attachment.

Aside from these two minor problems, I still regard this as an excellent product.

I transitioned from a Franklin Planner to a Visor Edge PDA.

I got my keyboard yesterday, and installed the software for the keyboard as soon as I got into the office, and took it to my first meeting of the day. One of my co-workers has the same Visor Edge that I have, and was floored when he saw how easy it was to use the keyboard. He travels alot more than I do, and lugs a laptop around. He is buying one for himself ASAP.

I was able to take more detailed notes faster than I usually do, and was able to synch and share my notes via e-mail.

If you have ever considered getting a keyboard like this for your PDA, I wouldn't hesitate a moment longer.

This is a handsomely designed keyboard for users on the go, and it's ideal for Palm fans hoping to avod the frustration of tapping or drawing one letter at a time. It's portable, works quickly, lasts for a long time with batteries, and folds into an appealingly small package. This adds a new level of functionality to your Palm, and it's doubtful that most users will go too far without it.

Of course, you'll need a flat surface to make this work, and you should beware of the dizzying variety of different keyboards, each with their own compatibiilities (or lack thereof). I don't "Palm" without it.

Cables4PC New 3.5mm Female to 2.5mm Male headphone earphone adapter for PDA MP3 MP4 Cell Phone

Cables4PC New 3.5mm Female to 2.5mm Male headphone earphone adapter for PDA MP3 MP4 Cell Phone
  • This adapter allows you to plug standard (3.5 mm) stereo headphones into the smaller output on these device
  • Enable your headset to use a standard headphone jack to get full stereo sound
  • Work with all your audio devices, including: iPODs, Cellphone, PDAm MP3, MP4, Discman, Walkman

Although I received this product in a very timely manner, it does not work properly. When hooked into my cell phone and then with normal 3.5mm headphones connected to it, the adapter seems to only carry the sound through the right side. I tried a couple different headphones with the same result. The male portion of the objects seems to be a little to small for the phone, while the female portion seems to be too big for the 3.5mm headphones. I will be returning this if possible.

HGST Travelstar 2.5 Inch 500GB 7200 RPM SATA II 16 MB Cache Internal Hard Drive (0S02858)

HGST Travelstar 2.5 Inch 500GB 7200 RPM SATA II 16 MB Cache Internal Hard Drive
  • Internal 2.5 hard drive for your laptop
  • More unplugged computing time to keep you working at peak performance no matter where you are - in the office or on the road
  • Delivers the perfect balance of capacity, ruggedness and low power consumption
  • Patent-pending technologies add reliability in non-stop computing environments
  • Built in Hitachi's halogen-free production environment

I bought this Hitachi Travelstar 2.5 500GB 7200 rpm hard drive to replace my 13" Macbook Pro (160GB) 2009. With some help from Ron(previous reviewer) and my brother-in-law, I was able to install it and now it is running perfectly. I notice this drive run faster and more quiet than my previous 160GB drive. My last drive also run very hot after an hour of use, I guess because of Aperture 3 and other photo editing softwares, but with this Travelstar, it is much cooler. I am happy with my purchase and will do it again if I have to. My next and final step is to install 4GB RAM into my 13" Macbook Pro.

Hope this helps!

used this drive to replace the 160GB drive on a 2008 aluminum MacBook. The hardware portion of the upgrade was very easy and straightforward. I did have to reinstall OSX from scratch. Startup time of the laptop is significantly shorter than before, but it can be partially due to the fresh OSX install. It has been up and running for 2 weeks, so it is too early to comment on reliability. The thing that annoys me is that this drive is significantly noisier than the original Toshiba. There is a constant noise that resemble a fan noise (not the clicking noise that present when drive is reading/writing). I had the laptop running without the battery cover to expose the hard drive, using both the old and new drive, and confirmed that the noise is from the new drive and not the exhaust fan of the laptop. This noise is constantly present, even when there is no hard drive activity. However, I have to put it in perspective. The original Toshiba is SILENT when idle, so this new drive is obviously noisier than that. But it is not noticeable in a normal office environment. It is, however, very noticeable if it is at a quiet home and within typing distance.

This is a fast, quiet and reliable Travelstar 7K500 drive in new retail packaging. Label on my drive indicates P/N: 0A72335 and my system enumerates drive as "HTS725050A9A364." Seems Hitachi markets these drives with various item numbers including: HD20500IDK/7K, 0S00157, H2IK5001672SP and 0S02858. I have three different retail boxes purchased over the past year or so and while they do have different item numbers they all contained drives with P/N: 0A72335. The packaging shown above seems to be the latest as of Aug-2010.

UPDATE: Sometime during the summer of 2011 Hitachi began shipping 500GB advanced format 7K750 drives in the same packaging as drives noted above and labeled with the same part number: 0S02858. Good news is that a 750GB, 7200RPM model is now available. Bad news is that older OS's and some cloning software may not "align" sectors properly for good performance. Hitachi offers an Align Tool on their web site to address this issue. I have no experience with these new advanced format drives, but felt I should update my review in light of recent changes to the product line.

I purchased this drive to replace a 150GB Hitachi drive in my MacBookPro. As soon as my MBP was out of warranty I wanted to upgrade since the original drive was full and was slowing me down. The replacement was super easy following the directions on FixYa.

The drive has made a huge difference in my MBP. Startup is faster, programs load faster, plus I have ample storage now. The 7,200 RPM makes a huge difference over the original drive. The new drive is quiet and works like expected.

Firstly, readers should know that I haven't yet tested this hard drive (HD). I have bought it last week from Amazon, but haven't opened it yet as I am currently debating whether to use this HD or return it in favor of another one (I am strongly considering the Western Digital Scorpio Black). I had to include a rating for this comment to be posted; I wanted to post this comment despite not actually testing this HD (0S02858) as it supports the comments of another reviewer, Ron, and, I think, provides some important information for those looking for a notebook PC internal hard drive and considering Hitachi among their options. I initially bought this HD to replace the recentlydeceased HD in my Dell M1330 notebook PC based on a strong recommendation from an acquaintance on a notebook PC forum. The acquaintance actually recommended the Hitachi 7K500 500GB 7200RPM HD, but Amazon apparently did not carry that particular model. However, one of the previous reviewers, Ron, wrote in the comments section that this HD (0S02858) is actually the 7K500 and in fact Hitachi sells several HDs with different model numbers that are actually relabeled 7K500 HDs. After I purchased this HD, I found some information at another dealer that suggested this HD (0S02858) is a different model than the 7K500. I emailed Hitachi last week asking about this situation and received a very brief response that the 0S02858 is different from the 7K500.

As you may have noticed, Amazon sells 3 (at time of this writing; the number seems to vary over time) Hitachi 500GB 7200RPM notebook PC HDs with different model numbers, but otherwise seem identical. Again, Amazon does not seem to sell the 7K500. The Hitachi website lists only two HD models that are 500GB and 7200RPM, and none of the aforementioned three models. I emailed Hitachi again today after receiving their first reply and asked specifically if the three Hitachi HD models sold by Amazon (listed below, as well as in my 2nd email query to Hitachi) were indeed different from the 7K500 or if they were the same HD relabeled and repackaged. Within 2 hours, I received a 2nd, more detailed response from a Hitachi representative, "Art". I copied below his reply, and below it, listed the 4 Hitachi HD models (including the 7K500, bottom of the list) that I specifically listed in my email query:

"Hello Kenneth,

Thank You for contacting Hitachi GST Technical Support.

They are all essentially the same model and all carry our 3-year warranty, however

the part and model number mostly differ due to changes in retail packaging or possible firmware differences. You should expect the same performance and experience out of all of them. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Best Regards,

Art

In short, Hitachi has verified Ron's assertion that this Hitachi HD (0S02858) is the same as the 7K500 and that several other Hitachi models are also the 7K500 relabeled and repackaged.

Sony 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Memory Card MSX-M2GS

Sony 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Memory Card MSX-M2GS
  • 2 GB storage capacity with 1.85 GB available
  • Minimum write speeds of 15 Mbps on Memory Stick(R) PRO Duo enabled devices optimized with 4-pin parallel interface
  • Increased operating temperature range of -13° F to 185° F for greater durability
  • Included adapter allows compatibility with Memory Stick(R) PRO media enabled devices
  • Backwards compatible with most devices that use Memory Stick(R) PRO Duo media

There's not much that can be said about a memory card. It works or it doesn't. This one works, so, pretty much that's that.

It comes packaged with a Memory Stick adapter for devices that require the older, long-and-narrow format. But definitely check with the manufacturer of the unit you're planning to use it with to ensure that the Memory Stick PRO Duo is the device you need.

I'm using this with the Sony DSC-T100 CyberShot camera. As a point of calibration for other users, this 2GB Memory Stick show up as storing 619 images at 8.1 megapixels per shot. That should handle all casual use and even a big, long vacation.

Remembering the saga, 'buying cheap and paying twice', too well, I chanced on the largest Memory Stick Pro Duo available. I have not regretted my decision after using it with my Sony DSC-W100 digital camera.

The 8,1-megapixel photos are written to the stick so fast that I never wait before taking next photo. I took about 500 8,1-megapixel photos and about 5 minute video before the stick became almost full.

My advice is to buy the largest you can afford. You'll be grateful for it.

  • Measures 4.7 inches wide x 3.7 inches high. Machine washable and easy to clean.

I was in the market for a new wallet and didn't want to spend a lot on one (some of these wallets online are more than a purse!). I was looking for something that I felt was also going to last, so I figured what better than a cloth wallet. Arrived as pictured and very cute. I had to get used to the flexibility present with the wallet, but I didn't experience any issues with cards falling out like I was afraid would occur (and mind you I don't have many cards). I can see this wallet holding up for a number of years. I'm an adult so you don't have to be a kid to order something so cute!

Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB Flatbed Scanner

Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB Flatbed Scanner
  • 300 x 600 dpi optical resolution, 9,600 dpi interpolated
  • 48-bit color depth, 16-bit grayscale
  • Hinged lid for complete book spreads, 2 letter-sized pages, or magazines
  • Software bundle with Photoshop 5.0 LE and FineReader OCR
  • USB 1.1 interface; PC compatible

First of all, you will need to figure out where you're going to put this thing: it's quite large. It measures 22" x 15". The hinged lid, though removable, requires over 2 feet of clearance above the surface that the scanner sits on.

The scanner works fine with my computer, but I confess that I have Windows 2000. Other reviewers are reporting problems with other operating systems. DO read them.

By calling the included software "El Crapamundo" and saying that "It really stinks", the previous reviewer is being much too nice. I don't think that Amazon will allow the words that I really want to use.

You get two CD ROMs: One contains the drivers, and the other is scanner-compatible graphic software from Ulead. The driver CD ROM installs a software panel with VERY limited setting options. Page 7 of their owner's booklet spells out the non-changeable default settings. They're extremely restrictive. The Ulead CD ROM installs all kinds of extra crap that runs in the background and uses up computer resources.

Your best solution is to find software on the internet that will scan your documents while giving you a much wider range of options. I'm using Photocopier Pro by Nico Cuppen Software.

As a professional designer in the scrapbooking industry I completely rely on the dependability and color quality of this scanner for my 12x12 pages. I have never had a problem in 3 years and only now need a new one. A great value for a scanner of this size and price! Some adjusting in the contrast/brightness, even saturation is needed but I would expect to do that with any scan. That's part of the process unless you have $4-5,000 in extra cash lying around for the tip top line of scanners.

Read Best Reviews of Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB Flatbed Scanner Here

My needs are simple. I want a scanner with 11 x 17 capabilities to scan books, magazines, and other items for online auctions. From time to time, I also scan receipts, documents, newspaper clippings, etc. to convert to .pdf files for emailing or posting online. After researching the market for flat-bed scanners, I purchased the Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB scanner about four months ago. These days finding a flat-bed scanner (not intended for scanning photographs) is tough. Moreover, its nearest competitor with 11 x 17 capability (Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL) is about $1200!

I conneted the Mustek ScanExpress to my Dell Inspiron 9300 notebook (with Windows XP Professional) purchased in mid-2005. There were no compatibility or connectivity issues. I use UleadPhotoExpress (from the installation CD) to scan images onto my hard-drive. Then, I edit the images with JASC Paint Shop Pro_8. To date, I have been pleased with the quality of the scanned images and the ease of use of this Mustek scanner.

Want Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB Flatbed Scanner Discount?

You can't ignore the large tabloid format for under $200. This is one great feature especially if you need to scan in rare pieces of printed music. The tabloid size is great for music and will allow you to archive the sheet music electronically.

Bad things:

1. Poor packaging. My first shipment arrived in pieces. The scanner ships in a flimsey box that does not protect it very well. When I opened it up on arrival, the glass scanner bed was in pieces. It's very brittle and the glass breaks into powder so be careful.

2. Poor quality Control. The second shipment from Amazon arrived in one piece, however the cable that drives the scanner head was popped off and the scanner didn't work.

3. Poor customer service. I tried contacting customer support serval times but got no response. I ended up taking the thing apart and fixing it myself (and it worked!). That's the up side -the scanner is so simple, that you can probably fix any problem with it yourself (except, of course, if it involved a blown circut board).

4. El Crapamundo Software Interface. It really stinks and I mean REALLY stinks. Just like in the outhouse, if you stay in there long enough, you'll get used to the stench. That's the same thing with the software. If you get used to its weird behavior, you won't notice it so much. It has a nasty memory leak in it so after you scan in about 25 pages, you'll have to quit the software to realease the memory (the software will crap out on you and say that it can't save the file).

The upside is that it has a "good enough" OCR software packaged with it. I used it once or twice on small stuff, but I wouldn't let a large project hinge upon the performance of this scanner.

So if you need a big scanner once in a while, this is a great value (mine has already paid for itself several times over). If you are going to use it for an ongoing project or need the scanner (operable) in a short period of time, depending on your project, you might want to pay the extra $ to get a more versatile and reliable machine.

Finally a great priced scanner for all us scrapbook artists that need a larger one for scanning our completed 12x12 pages.I love being able to scan pages into my computer instead of having to use a photo stitching program (which does not work very well). The color is not the best so I scan directly into my photosuite program to adjust for the correct colors.I plan to purchase another one for my daughter who also loves scrapbooking.Of all the companys out there who make scanners--only Mustek makes this size scanner at a reasonable price.I just wish they were not so hard to find.Hoping Amazon will start carrying it again.

VuPoint PDSC-IW441-VP Solutions Carrying Case for Magic Wand Portable Scanner

VuPoint PDSC-IW441-VP Solutions Carrying Case for Magic Wand Portable Scanner
  • Keeps you Magic Wand and accessories safe, secure, and tangle free
  • Avoid scratches and dings
  • Tough polyurethane exterior
  • Pocket for accessories

I can't believe the scanner is evem sold without the protective case. It's too easily damaged in the flimsy drawstring bag that came with it. By the time I bought the scanner and a decent memory card, I've got $150 into it. It never would have lasted as long as it has without the case. Space for data cable and spare batteries, too!

Thought it was a bit pricy till I saw it...but this case is worth every penny! It's "luggage" quality, will protect the scanner from almost anything short of being run over by a car. A lot of thought has obviously gone into the design, because the lid has storage for the USD cord, additional flash cards/cases, and even two extra AA batteries and zips completely to keep dust out, making it perfect for storage AND travel, yet it's still not too large to fit into a tote or laptop case. Btw, also love the scanner!

I have 3 children under the age of 6, so it was important for me to buy something that would protect my scanner. this is great! The pockets hold everything (although, they're oddly placed) and the scanner slips in and out easily. You won't be disappointed!

Very well designed, solid case for the VuPoint portable scanner. The scanner fits snugly and is held in place by an elastic band. There is extra storage for SD cards and USB Cable. For $20 average, You can't go wrong. The nylon sleeve that comes with the scanner is not adequate protection for travel this case is rigid, compact and has a nice soft leather-like exterior that looks easy to keep clean and it will definately provide adequate protection.

Very convenient carrying case. Carries extra batteries, cord, and extra memory card. It protects the wand well, too, if you were to drop it. Great product if you are going to buy the VuPoint Wand.

Product arrived well packaged and shipped fast. Well satisfied.VuPoint Solutions Carrying Case for Magic Wand Portable Scanner (PDSC-IW410-VP)

A brief video review of the H600 headset.

I have been using my H600 with a Mac Pro. Though it comes with a dedicated USB transmitter, the headset and the transmitter did not recognize each other out of the box. I had to download software from Logitech to re-pair the two, and it was a bizarre process in which the software asked me to press the "track forward" button on the headset at one point. This headset does not have a "track forward" button. Do these people even test their own software?

Once connected in a setup that exactly meets the manufacturer's directions (transmitter plugged into USB port on the front of the computer, with unobstructed line of sight across the four feet or so to the headset), it worked but burst into static whenever I moved my head. I resolved this by moving the transmitter to one of the USB ports in the back of my monitor. This was contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, but performance was much better.

The headset works with all my software. I have been using it with Skype and Google Voice, and I've watched online video and listened to music. They all work, but the audio quality is lousy and this is really noticeable with music in particular. The quality is nowhere near that of any of my wired headphones (USB or otherwise).

Further, they leak sound -if I use them when my wife is in the room, she complains.

So they are convenient, and I will continue to use them for VOIP and applications where audio fidelity isn't particularly important. They're not going to replace my traditional cans for music though.

I LOVED this headset for the six months they worked: great sound, easy to charge. The downside is letting the battery go dead. I left mine on overnight without them being plugged in and now they won't charge at all. Nothing, nada, zip. Online support says customer service just wants to send a new USB cable out but that doesn't fix anything. A friend with the same headset he had the same problem. If you buy these, make sure to keep them charged and never EVER let them go dead.

UPDATE: Since I figured my headset was trash I let my husband take them apart. He opened the battery compartment and used a D-cell battery to "jump start" my headset battery. This gave it JUST enough charge to have it recognized as a low battery in need of charging instead of a dead battery. He plugged it in immediately and they charged! Music and gaming are beautiful again.

What he did: He took a D-cell battery and two pieces of wire. He held one end of each wire to each end of D-cell and ran opposite ends to headset battery: negative to negative, positive to positive. He held wires in place for about 30 seconds and gave dead battery enough juice to be recognized as needing a charge. Hope this works for anyone with the same problem!

Just fantastic, I used to be glued at my desk for work, no more. Now I can wonder all over the house with these! Very comfortable and as I am required to have a headset on for work, comfort matters.

The battery life is stupidly long, ranging from 10-16 or so hours, I'm sure the battery life wont stay excellent, but the fact that I had forgotten to charge it for 3 days, and on the third day I was able to just plug it in and still use them really impressed me.

Doesn't take long to charge, takes quite awhile to get a low battery alarm. I've owned them for about 2 months now and I just 2 weeks ago finally heard the low battery alarm for the first time. The sound is good, I get good reports about the microphone, but it can be a bit oversensitive.

Overall I'm very happy, great price for a great product that makes my life much easier and better.

The problem with this product is with its packaging and nothing else.

I charged the product and plugged in the USB and nothing happened. I messed with all the configurations and still to my disappointment the thing did not work. So I did some research. First of all the item came with almost no instructions. Logitech could of done that better. There is a software download "pairing"

Just search for H600 and pairing software and it is in the logitech forums. I would put the direct link but amazon will not allow it.

Extract all, and Run. Then follow the directions Simply.

ALSO this Device is BLUETOOTH ENABLED! It works for the Iphone for sure, and maybe even ipad and android. (Don't know for sure that is all I have) Following the packaging consistently it does not state that it its. Go to your iphone, settings, general settings, and search in the Bluetooth. Then take the headphones and hold the mute and the volume + buttons simultaneously.

I was so angry at first with this device, but now for $60 I can use this single one to connect to my phone and computer.

I had high hopes for the Lifedrive. I was excited by the specifications for the device (its relatively large storage capacity and its large display); However, I encountered substantial problems within weeks of my purchase:

a) The initial version of the Lifedrive's operating system was VERY unstable (for example, the screen would frequently go blank/"white" for no apparent reason when turned on and would require a system reset to enable to system to "boot")

b) The system resets required to 'un-freeze' the device occasionally wiped-out all of the software I installed on the device requiring me to reinstall everything and re-enter all of the product keys

c) After several months of frequent system freezes/system crashes the Lifedrive's mini hard drive completely failed: when the device was turned on it made clicking noises but would not boot (in case you're wondering, the device was handled carefully and had a nice Rhino metal case with foam padding perhaps a strong breeze damaged the device)The Lifedrive is a horrible product. Save your money and your time by avoiding this device.

BEWARE ... do NOT buy this or any palm handheld. I have had both an E2 and this LifeDrive and both have had loving care but both have died within a year . Palm will "graciously" repair it for $150 (plus shipping). so beware ... there is NO quality to be found here ... I suggest you look at a pocket pc or some OTHER device.

PalmOne P10960U Mobility Kit

PalmOne P10960U Mobility Kit
  • For Tungsten E and all Zire Handhelds
  • Transfer and backup data from your handheld to your PC
  • Works with standard USB ports on desktop and laptop computers
  • Trickle charges handheld from available USB power
  • Includes vehicle power adapter (cigarette lighter adapter)

I purchased this item as a means to charge my Palm while on the road. The old Palm V charger worked wonderfully for this, but unfortunately the Mobility Kit doesn't. The kit consists of a nifty car adapter to USB power converter and a four foot (1.5m) USB Type A to Mini-B cable. Neither the car adapter nor the USB cable connected to a PC provides enough power to charge the Palm appreciably over the length of a normal commute. (under 60 minutes)

The only reason this doesn't get one star is the USB cable remains useful, albeit quite pricey compared to the equivalent product elsewhere.

Basically, this kit comes with two items. a USB cable, and a plug for your car adapter.

I purchased this so I can sync my Tungsten E with my laptop as well as my desktop. I have only used the cable so far, and have not tried the car adapter (dont think i will). The cable also provides a trickel charge if the PDA is off while connected.
