Acase iPad 3 Case - The New iPad 3rd Generation Premium Micro Fiber Leather Case and Flip Stand with

Acase iPad 3 Case - The New iPad 3rd Generation Premium Micro Fiber Leather Case and Flip Stand with Stylus Holder - 100% Support Sleep & Awake
  • The New Design iPad 3 Leather Case: Automatically wakes and puts the new iPad to sleep
  • Available for access to all functionalities
  • Available for two standing positions, and a stylus to attach to the case
  • Build in magnetic closure, stylus is not included
  • All controls, buttons, and pots are kept open. Fits both iPAD 2 and iPAD 3.

The reviews were mixed, everything from the camera hole didn't match, to the iPad not fitting. They were all wrong. I bought this for my iPad 3 and it fits like a glove, it doesn't slide out and protects the iPad. I needed protection because my 4 yrs old loves the iPad and I was worried about protecting it. The only pet peeve I have is the way it closes, because of the magnetic close and auto turn off/turn on. The case sometimes doesn't seal well or close well, and the iPad is left on. This would be a 5 star if it had a snap to seal it shut. Otherwise, this product works great.

This cover is so much better than Apple's smartcover. Much better protection, nice padded material that offers ample cushioning if the iPad were to drop, and it fits great. Couldn't be happier!

I have used Acase leather covers for years on my iPad1. Please realize my rating is a personal one because I use my iPad -using the Acase -on my lap and email people. The iPad 1 case has 4 selections for upright use ( broadside, not portrait) and I set the iPad on the second set of notches and I have a secure solid base with plenty of surface to keep my iPad stable. The only reason I give the acase for the iPad3 a three star is there is only one upright and the base isn't deep enough for stable use on my lap. As I tried to type it was rocking back and forth. So I have retrofitted the Acase from my iPad 1 and am making do with it. I couldn't take a photo with my ipad 1 case and it isn't perfect, but it works for me. I wish Acase would have retained the same 4 point system used in their previous Acase covers as that would have perfectly fit the iPad and met my needs. If you use your iPad on a table and not your lap, this could be a 5 star for you. Again Acase is my favorite and it would sure be nice if they modified this case.

rooCASE Executive Portfolio (Black) Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for Acer Iconi

rooCASE Executive Portfolio Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for Acer Iconia Tab A100 7-Inch Android Tablet Wi-FiI got this case for my Acer Iconia A100 mostly because it was about the only one available but I really like it. It fits perfectly, has slots for credit cards and a bigger flap for stowing papers, etc, has a pen slot for a stylus or pen, and has an easel flap so it can stand up alone. The really neat thing about this case is the cover itself attaches to the body of the case with Velcro so it can be removed, and has an opening in the back for the camera to work through. The tablet feels a lot more secure in the case so I'm a lot more comfortable carrying it around. It also fits just fine in a purse or bag. Oh, and it's very nice looking too.

This review is for the black cover.

A nice cover that holds the tablet and notes, both.

This is a good quality leather cover for the ACER IKONIA A100 tablet. It has three pockets on the inside, two of which would hold credit cards nicely. It also has a strap for a stylus or ink pen.

Perhaps I am alone in this, but I really like to have paper and pen with me at all times. I find computers great for work, but I write things down when I think of them. Having to type and spell correctly takes too long and I lost the thought. I can write quickly on paper, and expand my thoughts later on the computer.

I ordered this to replace an existing cover for my tablet. I like the way I can now have the tablet in either portrait or landscape mode without hanging on to it. The leather is a bit stiff, but that adds to the idea that this should protect my tablet quite nicely. I did not realize there was a zipper to close the cover, I would prefer not having it. I like the covers that close like a book, they offer more convenience for me.

If you don't mind a zipper cover, this one works great. The built in stand allows the tablet to be used without holding it in place. I also like the way the tablet is held in with velcro. Since there is a leather wrap around the tablet, when reading I simply remove it from the outer cover. Unlike some, I have not experienced the cover not staying upright. Since there are few options for the ACER A100, I would replace this cover with another if the need arises.

Planon DPENR700 Docupen R700 B&W Pen Scanner

Planon DPENR700 Docupen R700 B&W Pen Scanner
  • Battery Operated for Full Portability Purposes. Stores Up to 100 Pages into Memory
  • Scans Take Approximately 4 to 8 Seconds
  • Scans a Full Page Width Including Text & Graphics
  • Free PaperPort Software Included with OCR Capability
  • Rechargeable lithium-Ion Batteries

Bottom line first: DocuPen is a very good device if you do not have too high expectations and use it only for what it was designed for. You have to realize: this is neither a copier, nor a scanner; this is a fax machine inside out. You will get exactly the same quality as from a conventional fax. If that's what you need, than DocuPen is a perfect device for you. Otherwise don't bother.

The images scanned with DocuPen look almost exactly as if they came out of a conventional fax machine. The pictures looked pretty bad (if heavy graphics/pictures are what you need don't even think about DocuPen) and some of the text lines were stretched in a way a fax machine does when the paper gets a bit jammed. I am sure, with some practice it will get better but not too much as it's humanly impossible to keep moving the hand up to 8 seconds with precisely the same speed.

However, if the text and some light drawings are what you need than this device is for you. I, personally, do historical research and need to copy some articles from old newspapers. DocuPen works great with text. Just make sure you always use 200 DPI even if you don't really need to. The reason is that if you mess something a bit (say, your hand shakes or so) with 200 DPI there is a chance to fix the image later on or at least to be able to read it. At 100 DPI it's pretty much dead end.

The two major drawbacks of the DocuPen (at least for me) are the small memory and inability to work with a PDA. DocuPen's internal memory is only 2 Mb which in my opinion is ridiculously small. And there is no way to increase/upgrade it. Don't believe the ad that says you can store up to a 100 pages. You don't want to scan at 100 DPI, and with 200 DPI 50 pages is the max. What they don't tell you in the ad, is that if any of those pages contain heavy graphics the number could go as low as 12 (!) at 200 DPI (that's what the manual says). That sounds like almost nothing to me.

The small memory issue would not be that bad if the DocuPen was compartable with any of the PDAs. As long as I could download those few pages and start scanning again I would have being OK with that. However, I don't always carry my laptop with me and it is sort of a hassle to bring it to the library every time. On the other hand, my PDA is always in my pocket. If I download those scanned pages to my PDA not only to clear the memory but also to check how they turned out (and re-scan any if necessary) that would have been great. But the DocuPen DOES NOT work with any of the PDAs !!!

I actually made a call to DocuPen's tech support (BTW the guy who works down there was very nice) and talked about this issue. Apparently the problem was not the compartibility but the lack of drivers. The company supports Windows 98/2000/NT/XP (and, I've heard, some of the MAC's OSs) but not Windows Mobile or Palm OS. So, they simply don't know what's going to happen if I connect the DocuPen to my PDA (provided I find the correct cable or make one myself). So if anybody out there feels like writting a driver for the DocuPen to work with Windows Mobile please let me know :-)

They also told me that in six months (Spring 2006) they plan to launch a new model of DocuPen which would have a slot for SD card (yes-s-s !!!) and would scan in full color. Personally, I don't think that DocuPen's upgrade to color scanning is such a good idea. The quality of its images is low enough in b/w and the addition of color would just make things worse. It will also enlarge the size of the device and, of course, the price will go up.

For now, your choice is either to buy the DocuPen R-700 and deal with its small memory or wait six months (at least) and pay more for pretty much the same device (again, I don't believe in color on the "world's smallest scanner") to be able to save your scans on a SD card.

Two other things that I would have changed about DocuPen are fairly minor and are really more inconveniences than major issues. The button that turns the device on is very hard to press. Every time I do that it feels like I am going to break the whole thing. Also the carrying case that comes with the DocuPen does not provide the adequate protection. I wish they made some sturdy metallic tube/box instead of this fluffy pouch. But may be that was the point. The sooner your DocuPen breaks, the sooner you get another one :-)

Overall, I did like the DocuPen and I would recommend it to anybody as long as you clearly understand what you need it for. If you plan to use it for copying a few book articles at your library, class notes from your friend's copy-book or some simple hand-drawings it will work great for you. But if you need quality graphic images of pictures or complicated blueprints and/or plan to scan a large number of documents at once DocuPen is NOT for you. Try to get HP's CapShare 920 instead.

Buy Planon DPENR700 Docupen R700 B&W Pen Scanner Now

I am a student and I bought DocuPen thinking I could scan library books or part of books, convert them to PDF and have my own collection of readings, with my annotations and highlights on them. Fat chance...

First of all, it looks very cheap and not very solid (very cheap-looking plastic, poor finish).

Second, the controls are incredibly frustrating everytime you scan you have to press a button (twice, if you want hi-res), and the button is pretty much burried in the scanner and tough to press. Why do I have to press it every time and hurry to scan (it shuts down quickly, unless you start scanning, I do not know).

Third, the 2MB of memory is a joke. I guess you could fit 100 not-too-large low-res scans on it (as the product claims), but who wants 100 dpi scans? Why, when flash memory has dropped so much in size and price, the Docupen has a measly 2 MB?

Fourth, the software interface and transfer mode are atrocious. Why is not recognized as a USB Mass Storage Device, but instead you have to install its software or use another image-acquiring program? Moreover, the transfer speed is horrible, and you have to download all the images in its memory before choosing which to actually keep.

But, most important, unless you have a very steady hand and are very careful when you scan, the quality is very poor and there is no hope of OCR (by the way, the bundled OCR software is slow and not very accurate). I guess they should have the rollers on the bottom of the scanner measure the speed you're going, the way they do in ball mouses, or have measure the speed the way optical mouses do, and thus compensate for variations in scanning speed across the page.

I have had much better OCR results with snapshots of books taken with a digital camera (done carefully, in bright sunlight) and a professional OCR suite, such as Abbyy FineReader, than with Docupen scans (using the same OCR software).

Last, but certainly not least, it costs a lot (but that could be a problem with most handheld scanners, since the cheapest I could get a used C-Pen on ebay one year ago was some $ 120).

The only good things I can say about it is that it comes with a leather-like case, good for protecting it against scratches while carrying it around, and that one of the led lights on it blinks when you're scanning to fast, thus offering some control over your optimum speed.

All, in all however, this seems like a good idea that steel needs some technological progress before it can actually be useful (higher DPI, speed-variation compensation) or at least some simple and sensible improvements possible at present (more ergonomic and simple controls, higher memory and transfer speeds, and implementation of USB Mass Storage protocols instead of the clunky TWAIN interface).

Easy to install and easy to use.

I used to have the older model (DocuPen BW) but after knowing that the new model featured rechargeable batteries I decided to buy it (my son inherited the BW and now uses it at school)

Since I bought my DocuPen R-700 I have been carrying it around with my mobile and my notebook and it is almost like having my whole office on the road.

The scan quality is good for my purposes (it is 100 dpi, not a 1600 dpi flat bed scanner OK?) and the best part is that I don't have to look for photocopy machines anymore.

I have heard some complaints about the installation but it worked perfectly to me and have not found any problem (I use XP). If you follow the instructions on the screen you should not have any problem at all

Anybody working on the road should have one.

This product looks and feels very flimsy. Do not be fooled by the flashy, metallic-looking picture. The plastic shell of this device is the quality of McDonald's toys. One would think that for $300, the company would at least commission a manufacturer that did not leave plastic whiskers hanging off the rims due to bad cutting.

The buttons are hard to press. In order to turn the device on, you have to press very firmly, which is a risky thing to do considering the cracking delicacy of the shell.

The cable port for the DocuPen is also extremely flimsy, and you have to hold the cable firmly in place in order for the downloads to take place; otherwise, the connection will be lost.

I am a pre-medical student, and I very stupidly invested a lot of money in this product, believing that I could (for 8 seconds a page and 100 pages per disk) scan my science textbooks in the library, including the colored diagrams, and in that way, I thought I would make back my investment, since textbooks go for at least $100 each. However, I now see that this belief was naive, to say the least. The Docupen is extremely difficult to use. The words come out distorted, like a jammed fax machine, and although the free Paper Port software which comes complimentary with the DocuPen is rather useful for annotating PDF's, the DocuPen does not produce texts that are legible enough to annotate.

Furthermore, downloading is very slow (at least 15 seconds per page on my fast computer), and since you can't see how your scans have turned out until you load them into the computer, you will have to re-scan about 80% of pages due to stretches, smudges, blurriness, suspicious blank spots, and general illegibility.

I wish I had read some of the other negative Amazon reviews before buying this product. I would have saved myself a lot of money and time.

If you are a user who is only looking to scan pictures or a few flat documents, then this product may work okay for you, although a digital camera will probably deliver better results. If you have been harboring grandiose visions of going all-out "paperless" with this product, you will find yourself extremely disappointed.

Until PlanOn decides that this product is worthy enough to invest in a semi-decent shell manufacturuer, it will not a good buy. The idea is wonderful and has a lot of potential, especially when coupled with a Tablet PC. However, the execution of the idea needs improvement. I hope to see a far better version of this product in the next few years, at a price that is comparable to quality.

Although I would like some type of "high-tech" mobile scanner like Kiefer Sutherland uses in the show "24"....that's a few years off...LOL. Anyway, this thing is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. As far as text is concerned the resolution is adequate for my needs, and probably the vast majority of users. With regards to graphics, it is the only hand/pen scanner that can scan graphics, but with a limited resolution (200dpi). Overall, this docupen is great. I did notice however that if you do alot of mobile scanning and don't necessarily have the ability to dump the info immediately into a computer...space becomes limiting. I've decided to get a "handful" of them (no pun intended), so that I'm never caught short of memory and space. I will let you know that I was able to easily scan about 50 pages of text at decent resolution with little or no difficulty (with alot of room left over). It saved the the hassle of looking for a copier where I was on-site working. One thing to know: there is supposed to be a "calibration sheet" enclosed in the package that "tunes up and calibrates" the pen. After looking around for it to no avail in the package, the customer service department let me know it was on the installation disc as a file that can be printed out and scanned for calibration purposes. Other than that, like I said, it's simple, effective and quite honestly the only product that's currently on the market that can scan and store text and graphics on the fly. If you need something that absolutely must have the flexibility of incorporating graphics this is the only game in town...and as I've already indicated I couldn't be happier (unless someone develops a tablet sized pc that has a printer and a scanner built right into the system).

Oh, one additional thing: people do give you a second glance or two when using one of these things.....they either think you are a: 1) Spy like James Bond, 2) Alien here observing humans, 3) Traveller from the future or 4) High tech geek (LOL).

I hope this product is as useful for you as it is for me.

Piel Frama 811 Black Leather Case for Dell Axim X50(v) / X51(v)

Piel Frama 811 Black Leather Case for Dell Axim X50(v) / X51(v)I'm writing reviews, although I don't think this case will ever be available again... :). Anyway... the case is great, you can see the details and all the care put into manufacturing. It fits the axim well, although it could have been a bit shorter (there's a small space at the upper end of the pda). But I guess it is designed to keep also all kinds of cards etc which will make the compartments thicker and thus that space will be reduced. Long story short: if you find it, go for it! Quality manufacturing, quality leather, quality packaging!

Was very happy with this case. Everything about it was great, the box it can in, to the fit of the case. Very nice!!!!

rooCASE Neoprene Super Bubble Sleeve Case for HP Pavilion dm1z 11.6-Inch (Black / Red)

rooCASE Neoprene Super Bubble Sleeve Case for HP Pavilion dm1z 11.6-InchThis cover fits my HP DM1z 11.6" laptop well. The pouch pocket is large enough to hold the charger. The sleeve looks very nice. I'm sure it would not offer any protection if I dropped my laptop, but it does make me more comfortable putting my computer in my backpack or even in a carry-on bag.

This case works very well, and has held up well for the week I've been using it. At this time, I have a couple of thoughts:

Pros:

-Fits my laptop perfectly, even with Lenovo's extended 6 cell battery.

-The quality of the case is very good, it does not seem like any part of it is likely going to fall apart during its lifetime of use.

-Legitimately feels like I could drop my laptop from any reasonable height and it would be fine, even the zippered sides. (I'm not going to test this though!)

Cons:

-The standard charger for the X120e fits...but you definitely know it's there. It really sticks out. If you got the thinner charger, it might be nicer, but suffice it to say that there is a reason why there are no product pictures that include a laptop charger in the case.

I'm very happy with the laptop sleeve and I truly think that it will not let me down in the near future, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone else with an 11" laptop.

This item is merely ok! It slips on the back of the iPad, however after some use, you will notice that it slips off really easily. Because it only is on by a few corners and sides due to the iPad cover and magnet covering one side, it is held on on limited surfaces. The cover doesn't stay on, the edges and sides come off easily especially when you stick it in your bag or briefcase, when you pull it out, chances are the cover has come off altogether or at least part of it is. I have since removed it and thrown it out!

When I bought my Nook Color, I couldn't beleive how limited the choices of covers were for it. Essentially, it all came down to a choice between a sleeve that must be completely removed to use the device or a folder-like "case" that offered no protect to sides of the device. I was very clear what I wanted: a case that completely enclosed the device, closing on all sides with a zipper; free access to all controls and ports on the device; completely open access to the entire screen. After several days of hunting online, this is the ONLY one I found. It does everything I wanted leaving room for only two minor quibbles.

1) the zipper can slightly obscure the charging port.

and

2) the zipper pulls are a bit larger than needed, occassionally getting in the way.

Other than that, the price is good, the build quality seems very good and it does everything I wanted.

I'm glad I found this case.

Buy rooCASE Executive Leather Portfolio (Red) Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for Barnes and N Now

I wanted to try the product for several days before I left any review on it. After several days, I feel confident that I can give an accurate assessment of the product. The product is labelled as being made from leather. It does have thick and strong texture like the full grain leather but the backing of the leather leaves me wondering whether it is imitation or synthetic. Leather also has a distinctive leather smell (from the tanning process) and this one is more chemical like. The inside of the cover is lined with synthetic suede. The cover core seems to be made from cardboard and so it is quite stiff. Some people may not mind it but I find I could not fold the front cover to the back of the Nook like I normally do with paperback book covers. The cardboard core stiffness did not give me confidence that it was a high quality product.

The way the color Nook is placed in this product is to slide it in from the top. It does have the appropriate openings for the volume controls, the off switch and the jack for the microUSB. The challenge for me was the zipper part sort of blocks the clean entry of the microUSB plug into the Nook and also pushing the microUSB into the Nook would make the Nook slide out this "leather" cover. Since it was so easy to slide the Nook in and out, I thought that this could present the danger if I had the cover unzipped and I had it upside down that the Nook could fall out the cover and into the ground (HORROR!!). So I am making the habit to at least zip the top part of this cover so it will not happen.

It is my opinion that the price I paid for is a little high for this product. It is stylish and protective for the Nook and OK for utility. The stand is only for horizontal landscape mode and if I was reading email, I would have to turn the Nook in vertical mode and this cover does not seem to have the facility and so I have to hold it in my hands.

ADDENDUM:

I had this cover on my Nook for a while and it is when I am reading the Nook that I notice strongly that I cannot set the Nook on its stand to read a book because of the horizontal stand. Nook Books are only for the vertical direction. So I have to hold it in my hand all the time or lay it flat on the table.

ADDENDUM 2:

There was a second Nook at home and despite the shortcomings of its inability for this cover to stand vertically, the positives outweighed the negative and so I purchased a SECOND ONE. And I realized why one commenter mentioned the velcro thing for this cover. The second one had a small case within the cover that was attached with Velcro. This model was more stable than the one I have as it did have Velcro on top to keep the Nook from sliding out. I purchased this from pcmicro store on a well known auction site as it was being charged for less than here and this same seller is selling here too.

i looked at cases for my Nook between 19 and 80 dollars. I wanted good protection and most of all, I wanted it to zipper completely closed. This is the case I found that zippered close completely, and the Nook could not fall out. I read some reviews of the nook falling out of covers. I though that was unacceptable. I got the red case. I think it is classy. I asked my wife if it looked feminine, she said not at all. The Nook fits tight in this case in the the straps it goes into and I can not make it fall out even if I turned it upside down. Now I am not saying to bang it up against a wall either when you have it upside down. You can get to all controls. The only one is alittle funky to get to is the USB charge connection...You have to move the zipper away from the opening to push the USB connector into the Nook. Not a big deal for me. The only drawback is the tilt stand. Its nice for PDF documents. But you can not use it for reading books. The Nook will not orient that way for books, unless I am missing something. But I tried it and the Nook will orient for pictures but not for my books. It will for the net. So you can read the net or PDF while having a cup of coffee. I don't use the net to much. I don't think that is a strong point of the Nook. When you read books, you have to hold the left cover open. So its just like holding a book. I have a place for a nice stylus that has the soft bottom boot for using on the screen. It fits in the binding space inside. There is a small loop for it. I don't use the cover for credit cards. You have to watch what you put in there because that inside rests up against the Nook screen. So thats why I give it a four star. If it had a way to use it on the stand with my books, it would be perfect. and there is a magnet that holds the tilt stand up against the back cover, very nice touch. Those expensive good looking covers that are rich looking, I wonder if they have as much protection as this cover that I am reviewing, probably not. I value my possessions, so that is why I look for protection. I do not want a mistake to take my Nook out. I even would say you probably could drop the Nook from 3 feet and this cover would protect it from being smashed, but thats just my opinion. I am especially pleased with the purchase of this cover.

I love the color, and it's quite sturdy. It fits my NC perfectly. I also like that you can remove the portion that houses the actual Nook Color and place it back into the case itself with velcro. That part is pretty handy. However, it isn't for those who want to fit your NC into a standard sized purse -granted, you can fit it into a huge purse. This is more of a standalone case.

I have been looking for a protective case for my nook color, after some research I found this one, I bought it, and here are my comments:

Fits perfectly to Nook color

Once that is closed, the nook is protected from dust or any other environmental particles

the nook is really protected since the internally the case cover all the sides and corners of the nook

It is complete designed for Nook color, every button fits perfectly and you will access to On/off, volume and USB port

The leather feels good on hand and you really get a feeling of protection on your nook

Once on it, you can carry your nook just like a book.

I hope this will be helpful.

HTC 3-in-1 USB Audio and Charger Adapter for HTC ExtUSB Smartphone

HTC 3-in-1 USB Audio and Charger Adapter for HTC ExtUSB Smartphone
  • Special ExtUSB Adapter from HTC Series of Smartphone.
  • Extending the single port for (1) Charger/USB (2) 3.5mm Stereo Output, (3) HTC Audio USB Headset
  • Maybe suitable for newer HTC made Smartphone if the model is not listed above (more to come)
  • Quality assured back by 1 Year Warranty from Fosmon Technology
  • Check compatibility with Seller if you are not sure

This product is suppose to allow you to charge your phone wile listening to music with your ear buds. However, a distinct HUM comes through the ear buds when playing music and charging. If you remove the charging wire, the hum goes away and you can listen to music just fine. I reported this before and the vendor sent me another unit. However, this one also had the HUM. So the issue is clearly a design flaw and the unit simply does not work without making the hum.

I used it in the car. I plugged it in the cigarette lighter to charge the phone and with another wire plugged it in my car radio and I could hear the HUM. When I removed the charge wire, the hum went away.

I would NOT Recommend this product, unless you like hearing a HUM with your music while charging the phone.

Thank you

I like my G1 but for the fact that I can't use standard headphones, and for that matter, that I can't charge my phone while listening to music. This little gadget provides me the functionality that should have been in the phone. There was another web site with a similar device selling for $20.

It works great. Someone mentioned the problem with the music port; I wonder if it's his cable rather than the device, as I have no problem. I even tried wiggling the cable around and didn't hear any problems.

So, a cheap little device that adds a lot of value to my phone.

Ordered not sure if it would work or not for my mytouch phone, as I heard someone had an issue with it. Figured 8 bucks was worth the risk, and it was. Works flawlessly, I can charge my phone while streaming music in my car to my stereo using a 3.5mm audio cable.

Want HTC 3-in-1 USB Audio and Charger Adapter for HTC ExtUSB Smartphone Discount?

I have a Touch Pro, which comes with a different adapter that is nearly as long as the device itself. The cable is also rigid, which makes it look ridiculous when using it to listen to music on headphones. More problematic, it's prone to bumping and damaging the delicate ExtuUSB connections on the phone.

I bought one of these adapters to address those concerns while listening to music. With the flimsy cable and smaller adapter box, it doesn't look idiotic and is not as likely to catch on things. It comes at a price, however. There seems to be little to no electronic filtering, so if you simultaneously plug the adapter into headphones (or an auxiliary cable or tape adapter)and an external power source (such as a power adapter, PC USB connection, or car power adapter), you will hear a lot of static.

So I keep the standard adapter on hand for when I'm driving or working and listening at a PC and this adapter for when I'm active and listening. Actually, I have multiples of both spread around my home and workplace, because they're so easy to lose or forget.

Thank goodness HTC intends to include 3.5 mm jacks on all future models.

The product works well and the shipment was fast.

I recommend it.

The best price.

I'm using it on my HTC TYTN.

Harmony MP3/Phone Dry Flex Case with Jack

Harmony MP3 Dry CaseLeaks some not 100% dry but good enough to not have things be completely submerged in water. I used it to hold something that was already "waterproof" as in you could get it surface wet but were not supposed to submerge it and it does a good enough job to prevent total saturation when completely submerged.

BoxWave HTC Desire VT mini Capacitive Stylus - Small Portable HTC Desire VT Stylus w/ Tether and Rhinestone Detail Design
  • Works with all capacitive touch screens
  • Helps avoid fingerprints and smudges
  • Pocket-sized for added convenience
  • Durable and responsive tip
  • Adorned with shiny, diamond-like decorations

I received this product from the seller only to find out that the VersaCharger would not charge my Treo Pro.

The USB cable worked fine and would charge the phone when plugged into a computer and would also Sync the phone with the computer but the charger would not charge the phone when plugged into an outlet or the car.

One email to the shipper and they sent me a shipping label. I sent the unit back and got another one that still didn't work.

I am returning the whole thing for a refund.

The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the customer service people were very understanding and thorough.

Navitech Black Executive Premium Leather Flip Carry Case With Adjustable Stand For The HTC Jetstream

Navitech Black Executive Premium Leather Flip Carry Case With Adjustable Stand For The HTC Jetstream 10.1 ' Inch Android Tablet Device
  • The leather cover adds style, personalization and protects your HTC from bumps, scratches, and falls
  • Magnetic flap closure for a clean sealed cover & easy access and removability of your HTC
  • Full access to all functions & charging while cased including access to screen functions
  • Includes stand for perfect viewing and can be placed comfortably for gaming , reading or typing on the go.

I bought two of these casesone for myself and one for my twin sister as we both have an HTC Jetstream tablet. I was skeptical that the price was so low just because the cheapest case for this tablet (that I could find) was, at the least, $20 or $30. I wondered what the catch was. But I figured that even if it was a sucky case, it would be good enough for me (the $0.01 case I have for my phone has held up for a year and a half now!).

To cut to the chase, this is a very good folding case for my tablet. It protects it well enough, has cut-outs for all the buttons and speakers, and even folds to be a stand. The stand can be set two waysone at a steeper incline for viewing media and such, and a more shallow setting for typing e-mails, messages, blogs, et cetera. The part that folds over the screen has magnets to keep it in place when you are finished using your tablet. I am actually extremely pleased with this case. There is no place to store a stylus, however, but I do not have a stylus, so I haven't had a problem. But that may be the only criticism one might have for this case.

Wrapping it up now; this case is protective, durable, easy to clean (my cat threw up on itmy tablet was protected!), does not get in the way of using your tablet, andmost importantlyit is stylish. Honestly, I believe this looks like a $50 case. I recommend this product! If you have an HTC Jetstream tablet or know of somebody who does, $5.00 is a ridiculously cheap price for this incredible case. I suggest you take advantage of this superior deal and pick one up now.

  • The Microfiber Interior Protects The Screen Inside

First off, Aurum was the only shipper I could find who would ship an Asus case to Canada, so right off the bat it's a win.

The case is very well made, and the tablet fits it just right. Nice and snug with all the holes in the right spots. The core feels very sturdy and i definitely feel it would survive a fall from table height. No dark halo around the camera lens as i've heard many other cases have. And able to charge the tab with it in the case, which is important. It did seem to cause the automatic brightness to think it was nighttime, but that's of no relevance to me as I prefer manual brightness anyway. The brown (copper) colour is a little lighter than it shows in the photo but it actually matches the copper colour of the tab very well.

It did come a few days later than expected, but when asked about it, the seller responded within about 10 minutes and had it sorted out.

All in all, a very good case at an amazing price, and awesome service to go along with it.

I'm very happy with this cover. It's nothing fancy but does provide inexpensive protection for my new Transformer. The cutouts are correct but I do remove the case for pictures and videos. Also, I must open case to charge but if there were a cutout for charging then rain, dirt and the elements would get in and possibly foul the plug.

The delivery was faster than promised, this was a very good transaction.

This product is a great fit and is exactly what I wanted. When taking pictures, it does need a little adjustment to keep from showing a halo. Just zoom in a little before you take the picture and that will eliminate the unwanted border.

Really like the appearance. Looks like a notebook of some sort when it is in my car and does not attact attention as an eee pad.

like the cover. dislike the protective film which is hard to apply without air bubbles. tried to apply film several times and it got worse each time. like the stylus.

The case itself is a good case, but when you stand it up on its side it barely stays up, and when it does you have to be practically laying down to see the screen. The stylus is a POS and not even worth using. The screen protector came a little bent and never fit to my tablet the correct way.

Palm TX - Palm OS Garnet 5.4 312 MHz

Palm TX - Palm OS Garnet 5.4 312 MHz
  • Bluetooth

MEMORY

I upgraded from the Tungsten E2 because it didn't have enough memory to run some of my drug references. They would run, but very sluggishly.

128 Mb is plenty of room for all my data. I added a 128 Mb MMC card on top of that for extra space. I store all my contacts and schedule there as well as my drug references and some photos and I added some children`s games. The system runs faster than my Tungsten, even with more data and software.

The flash memory feature is really a necessity and I wouldn't recommend anyone go without it. One of my colleagues doesn't have one on hers and whenever she forgets to charge it, she loses all her data.

GRAFFITI

There is no dedicated writing area here, unlike with the Tungsten. You have the choice of writing on the application itself (which causes problems sometimes, because I `d activate things I didn't want to activate) or tapping an icon and bringing up a writing area resembling that in the Tungsten. I found Graffiti to be less sensitive in TX than in my Tungsten. I have to press the screen harder and it makes more errors than in Tungsten. With Tungsten, I could use my fingernail or a pen to write, but with this, I often found only the tip of the stylus would do and I needed to press down for it to really work.

BATTERY

Battery life is impressive. I could go for days without charging. I consult it quite a bit when at work. Of course, if I spend an hour playing a game, the battery will run down, but it does hole its charge well.

I did once have a Palm with a charging cradle. Unfortunately, neither this one nor the Tungsten came with one. I would much prefer that to a cord plugged directly to the wall, but it's a minor nuisance.

SCREEN

Because it doesn't have a dedicated writing area, the screen size is bigger, which makes it nice for viewing photos. I love how they look on my TX. Nice and bright with no distortion.

COMPATIBILITY

There were some programs that worked on my Tungsten that were incompatible with my TX. I think that's a problem with many computers and software, but I did find I had fewer compatibility problems with the Tungsten.

WIFI

I tried it a few times and at first, I thought the system was so slow. It couldn't make a connection and when it did, it took forever. Then, I went to McDonald's, which must have a very fast connection. Was I ever wrong to think this little unit couldn't handle WIFI. I just have to go where they have more oomph.

SUMMARY

Overall, the TX is a nice PDA. Of the ones I've owned, I'd choose this one again, if only because it can handle my drug references. It would be nice if it were compatible with some of my software, but we can't have it all. Were it not for the compatibility issue and the more difficult to use GRAFFITI, I'd give it 5 stars. Because of it, I can only give 4. Still a nice PDA.
