I've had this for over a year. Igot the phone because it is tough. I am a disabled photographer and if I go into the boonies want to know I'm not going to sit on or drop and destroy my 'Call for Assist'.

The case is tough. I'm tough on stuff and can pretty much destroy anything with little effort and minimal contact but this case has taken it well.

My *only* complaint is the thing tends to rotate when getting in or out of my Jeep as it catches on the seat or the seatblet. It will also rotate under my photovest and when that happens it can be snagged on something opoening the phone and running down the battery if one does not notice.

I'm in the habit of checking several times a day to make sure it has not done this.

So keep that in mind. Quality is excellent overall and the plastic key/screen covers are still clear.

I had an almost identical headset to this one which worked great until it managed to get run over in the driveway (even then it still worked with dangling wires and mangled earpiece). So, when I found this headset at such a good price I decided to buy again.

I prefer this over a bluetooth because the call quality on this wired headset is outstanding. It's also lightweight so no fatigue wearing it for hours at a time. Plus, it's stereo so I can listen to music from my Blackberry when not on a call. Everything you could want.

I have been talking with people in other countries who tell me I sound like I'm right in front of them in person. The sound is great, comfort is ok maybe not as comfortable as some others, but I can still wear it for an hour or two on a long call and not notice it. After a couple hours, I will take it out unless I'm watching a movie on the plane or something.

Biggest complaint is that the mute button on my headset does not work...I found this out the hard way on a work conference call! Luckily just some extra background noise for the other participants. Well, I quickly learned to just push mute on my Blackberry and not rely on this one. I also would say that the headset doesn't have any soft foam liners for your ears, this might help the comfort level. But many of us with ipods or other headsets might have extras to use for this.

Overall a great product if you care about call quality.

I ordered 2 pairs because the price was so low. They are very good stereo headphones sound quality is great when listening to MP3s or when listening to a phone call. the microphone does produce a bit of a 'tinny' sound to the person on the other end of the phone (I left 2 voicemails for myself first with the headset on then without it, and I could definitely tell the difference) but not so much that the other party cannot hear or understand. the earbuds have little foam covers which are pretty difficult to get onto the earbuds without damaging the foam (especially if you have big clumsy fingers like me). Overall a very good product.

These earbuds work perfectly and the sound is surprisingly good! My only complaint is the earbuds are a tad big for my ears, but the foam covers help them to stay in. I also really like how the cord is much longer than most earbuds. This helps when I'm at the gym and I can set my phone in the holder and not have to worry about it flying off the machine because I tug on the cord too hard!

A friend of mine purchased these, too, and accidentally put them through the wash. They still worked just fine!

I bought this to upgrade the 300 watt power supply in my Dell Inspiration 530, and this for the sake of adding a new video card (no luck yet). It would be nice if the seller told us how many and and the type of power leads that come attached and the number of rails (I assume 1 if more are not listed). My Dell has a 24 pin motherboard power supply recepticle. I have 2 hard drives and 2 opticals (Ok, I don't need 2 opticals). The hard drives and the opticals all require SATA power connectors. This Antec power unit comes with 2 SATA power supply connectors only. And it has a 20 pin mother board connector so you will have to plug in the 4 pin connector to fill all 24 on the MB if you have a 24 pin mobo recepticle). There are otherwise plenty of the older style connectors-maybe too many. I can hopefully use this in an older machine where the ps just died (overkill when replacing a 250w ps), but be forewarned, it comes w/ only 2 SATA connectors and a 20 pin motherboard connector. You could add an adapter (), but my Dell PS unit came w/ 4 SATA plugs. Stuck at installation, I'm not able to give a more thorough evaluation.

Everything is installed and SATA adapters have been added to the older plugs. But this power supply fan is noisy. The power supply that came w/ my Dell was dead silent (yes fan works). So I'll be looking for a quiter power supply.

Bought this unit at another egg-cellent California seller. Was on sale with a $20 rebate form included for a net cost including shipping of about $35. I've only had it a couple of weeks so far, but will sum up my impressions

I bought it to replace an Antec SmartPower 450 which came in the Antec Sonata case I used to build the PC in Apr '04.. It's been running 24/7 for 5.5 years.

Strong Points

* Adequate to power any pc/ video card combo as long as you don't have 2 video cards

* Has modular wiring.. I personally don't particularly care for this, but will admit it's convenient

* High efficiency and rated at 550w continuous output with very good current ratings as well

* 3 Yr parts/labor warranty

* good overvoltage/overcurrent protection so if it fails it doesn't cook your mobo on the way out.. ;)

* Plenty of plug options including multiple SATA, old 4pin molex, and old floppy type.. had at least 3 options for PCIe

* Cables are sheathed

* Very quiet.. softer than even the stock cpu cooler fan. (and this is in an Antec Sonata case which is very quiet anyway)

My criticizms are very minor..

* The cables are a bit stiff at the ends where the plug is located. This makes it hard if you have to turn it at the connect, say for a sata drive facing the side

* Had to fool with a rebate instead of just cheaper price :)

Any unit can have early failures, but this is rated at >100,000 hours mtbf which is excellent. Antec has always been a company I've had pleasant experiences with.

(edit: Update 8/11: The unit is still working fine. As it turns out it is in a somewhat dusty environment. It has shown no problems of any type, nor does it overheat. It probably would benefit from having dust, etc blown out about once a year .. in fact I expect most people's pc's would benefit from this cleaning)

(edit: Update 6/12: The unit failed last March, so I got only about 18 months' service out of this unit.. rather disappointing for a unit of this price! I have lowered my rating from 5 star to 3 star. edit:9/12: Since the unit was on warranty still, I returned it at my expense, $12.70 no thank you USPS, and received my replacement about a week later... not unreasonable. Raised up to 4 star)

its an antec basiq so its got only 1 fan, but the cables are long enough to reach all the components in the pc.

only con is that the one fan is significantly noisy, so in a quiet surrounding you can clearly hear it.

good thing is that it does the job well. thats what counts for me.

Let's get something straight right off: this power supply is NOT noisy.

I just built a machine for my brother using this power-supply, and when I saw all the reviews saying it was noisy, I thought "what are they talking about???" So to be fair, I turned around to turn on my brother's machine (it's sitting on the desktop right behind my head as I type this), because I wanted to hear it run, and objectively re-evaluate whether or not it seemed noisy at all:

Only when I went to power it up it was already on. I just couldn't hear it. And that's NOT what I expected to be telling you at this point! So whatever issues other people have with this thing being noisy, I really can't understand. Maybe they're overclocking and their CPU fan is going nuts or something. Makes no sense at all to me otherwise.

Moving right along: The power supply is not entirely modular, as noted in some other reviews, but the non-modular cables are required for your motherboard anyway. If I had one gripe about this supply, it's that the cables that are provided did not have enough cable between successive connectors to enable me to get everything in my rig powered up with only one of them, something that would have been theoretically possible had they been a little longer runs--but I can't say that other power supplies are any different in that regard, and I was able to easily finish by simply using another cable.

Beyond that, I can't say enough about this power supply. It's quiet as can be (literally inaudible in the machine right behind me, I'm still shaking my head about that one), it provides up to 550W (which works nicely with Core i3/i5/i7 processors which recommend at least 450W, by the way), and it has wide selection of extra modular cables to power about anything you could possibly want to put inside your case. As a bonus it's VERY competitively priced and Antec has a great reputation with power supplies. In short, I highly recommend this thing.

miBook Player 7 Inch Digital Concept

I got mine for 19.99 plus 5 shipping. Worth taking a chance, I thought. It turned out to be a great purchase. I bought it mainly for my young son to watch movies on it. Battery life is about 4 hrs for video, don't know what it is for audio only but I don't see anyone using this as a mp3 player. Video resolution seems to be 480 x 240 or something around there and it really is not bad at all for the price. Wholeheartedly recommend this item. I do have to convert DVDs to avi or mp4 and put them on to sd card.

Pros: This is a good toy for 5 yo boy for $ 20. Cons: Does not work right arrow button, the right arrow (but it is more convenient to use the remote control). Not all AVI files are played with sound. The screen is worse than I thought.

But this is what I expected for the money.

I was an audio nut long before I was a computer nut and am rather particular about sound. I bought these speakers as a gift for a friend and set them up for her with her computer. At the price, I figured that they would be speakers that would "get her by" so that she could hear what was going on with her computer.

After the speakers were set up, I turned on some music through her onboard sound. I found the speakers to be quite a bit more than expected. They had crisp, clean highs that rival that of my more expensive Yamaha computer speakers. And the subwoofer produces a warm, tight bass that hangs in there even with the deep thump of todays music.

Though I'm a novice at audio equipment set up, I believe that I'd be safe to say that hooking these up would be easy for anyone. Everything is clearly marked.

These speakers have been being used for 3-4 weeks now, and there have been no issues. I would highly recommend these speakers, especially at their price.

One last note, I have been able to personally compare these speakers to, as previously mentioned, Yamaha computer speakers and Creative Sound Labs speakers as well. My opinion is that these sound the best.

I was looking for big sound with a very small price tag to fit in a small space and I found it! I am very fussy about sound but knew I didn't have the wallet at the moment to match. But since my very old speakers crapped out, adequate speakers would be better than no music at all. THis system came as a very welcome surprise. The sound is crisp. Subwoofer provides a reasonable amount of bass (you won't get floor thumping out of it) and is not too big for the shelf it needs to fit on. It gets quite a range of sound for the price. And it produces fairly big sound -not at all that tinny compressed sound of cheap PC speakers. I expected maybe one step up given the price tag but got so much more. If you are on a budget, this is the way to go.

One word of caution from the box -the subwoofer is not shielded so you have to be careful where you place in relation to your computer!

I've owned this speaker set for 2 years of extensive use and it finally gave up on me. It out performed my old Yamaha 2.0 and Altec Lansing 2.1 sets, while priced at fractions of their prices.

I just got this set, and I am very pleased. First of all, they look sharp. Also, the picture on this site is not totally correct: The right speaker has an on/off button, a volume control, AND a bass control for the sub! This is INCREDIBLY convenient! As far as sound goes, this is not a Bose set, but it is FAR better than my standard speakers that came with my Gateway! The sound is very well balanced, especially with the bass control. I bought this set, and the larger CA3602, recently. This speaker set is perfect for the small desktop or small room. Because the speakers don't have control knobs on them, they take up less space on the desktop. The sub and speakers are ample loud for watching movies, listening to music or podcasts. The hockey-puck controller is a great design it includes volume and on/off, as well as a jack for headphones (also controlled by the volume on the puck), and ipod aux input (the cord IS included and you can listen without the computer on). The sound is very good considering it's only $30 these are a real bargain. I think the CA3602 is an even better bang for the buck. The twin drivers of the CA3602 satellites are rated 6 watts to the CA3090's 2.5 watts single speaker satellites, the subwoofer is 18 watts, to the CA3090 at 5 watts. It makes a difference the CA3602 set is much louder, better for a dorm room or inexpensive ($38) home theater for the price you cannot go wrong with these great sounding speakers. The sub woofer volume control is also moved to the hockey puck controller on the CA3602, making it even more versatile, unobtrusive and simple to use. These have everything you need for great sound at your computer, but the CA3602 set will give you more power. Either way, a real bargain.

This product is suppose to allow you to charge your phone wile listening to music with your ear buds. However, a distinct HUM comes through the ear buds when playing music and charging. If you remove the charging wire, the hum goes away and you can listen to music just fine. I reported this before and the vendor sent me another unit. However, this one also had the HUM. So the issue is clearly a design flaw and the unit simply does not work without making the hum.

I used it in the car. I plugged it in the cigarette lighter to charge the phone and with another wire plugged it in my car radio and I could hear the HUM. When I removed the charge wire, the hum went away.

I would NOT Recommend this product, unless you like hearing a HUM with your music while charging the phone.

I like my G1 but for the fact that I can't use standard headphones, and for that matter, that I can't charge my phone while listening to music. This little gadget provides me the functionality that should have been in the phone. There was another web site with a similar device selling for $20.

It works great. Someone mentioned the problem with the music port; I wonder if it's his cable rather than the device, as I have no problem. I even tried wiggling the cable around and didn't hear any problems.

Ordered not sure if it would work or not for my mytouch phone, as I heard someone had an issue with it. Figured 8 bucks was worth the risk, and it was. Works flawlessly, I can charge my phone while streaming music in my car to my stereo using a 3.5mm audio cable.

I have a Touch Pro, which comes with a different adapter that is nearly as long as the device itself. The cable is also rigid, which makes it look ridiculous when using it to listen to music on headphones. More problematic, it's prone to bumping and damaging the delicate ExtuUSB connections on the phone.

I bought one of these adapters to address those concerns while listening to music. With the flimsy cable and smaller adapter box, it doesn't look idiotic and is not as likely to catch on things. It comes at a price, however. There seems to be little to no electronic filtering, so if you simultaneously plug the adapter into headphones (or an auxiliary cable or tape adapter)and an external power source (such as a power adapter, PC USB connection, or car power adapter), you will hear a lot of static.

So I keep the standard adapter on hand for when I'm driving or working and listening at a PC and this adapter for when I'm active and listening. Actually, I have multiples of both spread around my home and workplace, because they're so easy to lose or forget.

Thank goodness HTC intends to include 3.5 mm jacks on all future models.

The product works well and the shipment was fast.

I wanted something to protect my Dell Streak 7, and there aren't too many options. I finally chose this one despite the price, because someone gave me a $50 Amazon Gift card, and I wanted a leather case.

Design:

This case is made so that the S7 slides in and out easily. There is a notch to grab the S7 when removing, and a slot for the charging cable at the bottom. The sides of the case only go about 1/2 of the way up the case, so that it is easy to remove.

Pro:

Looks really good. The leather is very nice quality and soft, the stitching is even, and it fits the S7 nicely. You won't mind being seen with this case at the office or wherever.

Very convenient. The S7 is quite easy to remove and replace.

The shipping is from Hong Kong, but it only took 9 business days. I received a shipping notice, and I can say that they process orders very fast.

Con:

The hole for the charging cable is off center a bit, and while it will work, it is not exactly right. I don't really consider this worth taking a star off the review, because I don't think it is a good idea to charge portable electronics inside any case the batteries get hot while charging.

The slot that one uses to pull the device out of the case is not really needed one could push the S7 out via the charging slot hole. I mention this because the slot is a bit too deep and since the entire front is glass, that part is not protected. I understand why it is designed this way; it fits the thumb very well. But it does leave that small part subject to any impacts.

Summary: I like the case; I would order it again. Recommended.

NOTE: There are not many options for protecting the S7, so I thought I'd list a few here.

PDair also makes sleeve style case, which is exactly like this one, but open only at the top for sliding out. I might well order this one instead if I had to do it again.

There is a T-Mobile model, but I have read that these can be a bit loose, and I wanted to hold my streak without bulking it up. There are a couple of other similar cases, which have a folding support to hold up the screen.

The Otterbox Defender Case is about the same price and offers the absolute best protection, but it does bulk up the device I have one for my HD2 cell phone. I didn't want the S7 to be that bulky.

There are a bunch of silicone case covers, but these do nothing to protect the glass screen of the S7.

There are also a number Neoprene cases which actually serve the purpose well at considerably less cost.

I like how it works when touching my Kindle Paperwhite. However, It was much shorter than I expected. There isn't anywhere to really keep it so I'm afraid it could be easy to lose. Just look closely at one picture of a guy using it. You'll get the feel for the size which is not given in the notes about the item that I could FIND. Also, the rope/string hanging off doesn't seem real useful. It seems like it just plugs into an iPhone.

My main problem with this Compact Flash is that the "real-time" performance is very slow. I bought it a year ago for my 5-Megapixel camera, and it makes me wait a long time before I can take my next photo. This gets frustrating when you miss good photo opportunities.

Then, I read this article which reviews Compact Flash cards, and I realized that this particular SanDisk product line is inferior.

The review at DP Review says this Sandisk writes at 6x (where 'x' = 150 KB/sec). I since then, have purchased a 512MB Transcend compact flash which claims to Write at 25x. My camera works much faster now. I have borrowed my friend's IBM Microdrive and that is really fast too.

The fact of the matter is, at the time of writing this review, there is no better value than this 1 GB disk. It is not as fast as many that you can purchase, but even for me taking wedding photos, my on-camera cache is enough to compensate for that speed. For the average or even semi-professional photographer (unless your goal is to be taking many rapid-fire shots) even this slow speed should be more than enough.

SanDisk quality and their 5 year manufacturer's warranty make this card that much better of a value over the no-name cheap competition.

The card is not perfect. It may fail and you will be stuck with 1 Gig of corrupted imgaes. That could happen with any card that you purchase. The card is slower than some, but most of the cameras being sold today have at least a 4 picture cache which means you will rarely even notice the effects under normal shooting conditions. The card is not the cure-all for the digital storage world, but at the time of writing this review it was only about fifty-nine bucks making it the best value out there that I have seen, all this with no-cost shipping and no sales tax.

So take the plusses and the minusses into account and make your choice...unless you have very special needs that would necessitate a faster card, this will probably be what you should choose.

How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The SanDisk SDCFB-1000-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card, like most 1000MB cards, will store on average 1137 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 853 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 512 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 409 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 320 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

One last thing to consider when buying a 1000MB card. Do not necessarily choose the least expensive card available. A 1000MB card should be an investment. You need to consider quality, reliability, and speed with a card of this capacity. Worse case scenario would be you taking this card (and only this card) on vacation with you overseas and for some reason it gets corrupted. Then what do you do? Purchasing a high capacity card changes the game a little, just be mindful of that before you hit the buy button.

This battery has given my poor old Palm M500 new life as it was only holding a charge for one day with mimimal use. Installing the battery with the torx bit screw drivers took about 15 minutes and then I charged it for about 2 hours until fully charged. After two days now it is still showing a full battery.
