Plantronics 10FT Spare Cable Assembly Coil

Plantronics 10FT Spare Cable Assembly CoilWhen my old headset died, my company bought new headsets for the office. They were horrible!! Customers complained that they couldn't hear you or that you were cutting out. I found this by accident and when I told some of my colleagues about it they wanted one too. They work great! I have been using it for about 2 months now and have not gotten one complaint.

EveCase Purple 360 Degree Rotating Folio Leather Cover Case with Built-in Stand + 3 X LCD Screen Pro

EveCase Purple 360 Degree Rotating Folio Leather Cover Case with Built-in Stand + 3 X LCD Screen Protector + Bluetooth Wireless Mini Keyboard + Universal Stylus + Mini Brush for ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF300 10.1-Inch TabletI just recieved this...I am so disappointed. I was wanting a mini keyboard because i didnt want full size, since the case is for a 10.1" tablet, I was expecting it would fit in the case nicely to use like a computer. but it is about 4 to 5 inches wide... so it is going back, I wish they would have had the measurements of the keyboard on the listing. Everything else was fine and as listed. In fact had a couple stylus with it.

THIS IS WHY I DON'T REVIEW ITEMS. WHY DO WE HAVE TO ADD MORE WORDS WHEN ONE WORD IS SELF EXPLANATORY.

I LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT IS CONVENIENT!!!

It really was not what I expected. The company shipped it too me extremely fast which was great. The product was not as good as I thought it would be, the blue-tooth uses a disk and the ASUS does not have one. Love the color. The cover came in handy while I was waiting on my ZAGG.

I agree with the other review on the keyboard. It is little but it would be fine if it was actually compatible with my tablet. I'm not sure what it is compatible with because it comes with a cord that has a usb on the end and my tablet doesnt even have a usb port. Guess the keyboard is just going to be a dust collector now. Also, I did not recieve a stylus or the brush. Guess you get what you pay for!

BoxWave mini Capacitive Sanyo Zio SCP-8600 Stylus (Jet Black)

BoxWave mini Capacitive Sanyo Zio SCP-8600 StylusI wish it had its soft end smaller in diameter. It saves the screen from being covered with the finger prints, but it's no better than finger tips in precision. A smaller diameter of the soft end would help its precision, I think. The overall design, though, is esthetically pleasing, ergonomic and sturdy.

After trying it for few days I should admit this is an excellent projector which hasn't captured much attention.

It comes with 50 Lumen RGB LED lamp delivers crystal clear HD

I like the fact that it came bundled with the cables required to connect your laptop and tripod is included in the bundle which is very nice.

I've just ordered the iPad connector kit so that I can hookup to my iPhone and iPad.

Integrated speaker is loud enough and sound clarity is too good while watching movies without any distortion,Although I personally use an external speaker for getting a theatre effect. I could project the movie upto 100" without any resolution problems.

Supports Micro SD and USB, I connect my 1 TB external harddrive with USB to watch movies and it reads the harddrive without any issues

Battery Life comes to 1-1.5 hrs if watching a movie, I haven't got a chance to check with presentations and stuff

I'm totally satisfied with this product

If down-sampling 1920x1080 content to 854x480 counts as "High Definition", then what doesn't? Was a 386 with CGA monitor an "HD" video display, because all you have to do is transcode your BluRay to 320x200 with 4-bit color before playback? Falsehoods in advertising deserve 1/5 stars.

However: for all I know this is an excellent DVD-quality display, if by dumb luck the people responsible for hiring dishonest marketers also hired honest engineers.

HiRO 3-in-1 2.4 GHz QWERTY Wireless Wi-Fi Keyboard, 3200DPI Laser Mouse and Multi-Touch Touchpad (H5

HiRO 3-in-1 2.4 GHz QWERTY Wireless Wi-Fi Keyboard, 3200DPI Laser Mouse and Multi-Touch Touchpad
  • Frequency Range: 2400~2483 MHz
  • Remote Range: Approximate 230 ft. in the Line of Sight
  • Power Source: BL-5C Compatible Battery
  • 3-in-1 Wireless Multi-Functional Device: Keyboard, Mouse, & Touchpad
  • QWERTY Keyboard Plus Media-Control Hot Keys: Work with Most Digital Media Receiver (DMR)
  • 1700/2500/3200 Adjustable High-DPI Mouse: Smooth & Precise Cursor Movement
  • Touchpad with Multi-Touch Gestures: Ease of Control

While no replacement for a full sized and featured keyboard, this little HiRO has saved the day more times than I can count.

Much like any other tool, the one you have with you is worth far more than the one you left in the car, it is this portability that makes it shine.

Plugging in the USB adapter requires no drivers on the OS side, is just recognizes the interface and goes, a Godsend for anyone working on PoS terminals or somewhat locked-down PCs.

I would advise keeping a close eye on the USB adapter though, the storage space in the rear of the HiRO is convenient, but not foolproof.

Fellowes Type N Go Keyboard and Bumper Case for Handspring

Fellowes Type N Go Keyboard and Bumper Case for Handspring
  • Keyboard alternative for handheld PDAs
  • Also a protective case
  • Easy connection with built-in dock
  • Does not require a flat surface to type
  • Supports Handspring Visor Neo, Pro, Deluxe, and Platinum (not compatible with Visor Edge or Prism)

This is a great product but it has one flaw. The dock does not have enough tension on it so sometimes when you turn on the Visor it will freeze. The lock is not keeping it locked into place. This is my second one with the same problem. The solution is two pieces of double edge tape in the top. This provides enough tension. I have had no problems since installing the "fix".

Buy Fellowes Type N Go Keyboard and Bumper Case for Handspring Now

When I was planning the purchase of a keyboard for my Visor Deluxe, I considered the larger portable keyboards, but they were too big even when folded (like carrying 2 PDAs), needed to be connected every time you wanted to type, and require a flat surface for use.

This item addresses these problems nicely. Because it serves as a PDA case and a keyboard, the total size is nearly the same as a paperback, which I know may be too big for some, but perfectly manageable. The case itself is pretty tough, and the keyboard is always connected to the PDA (and easily disconnects for Hotsyncing or going light) so it's always available, like when that quick note turns into a magnum opus. And although this item works best on a flat surface, you can definitely use it while holding it in your hands. An additional feature is that the case is partially covered in a nonskid surface so that when the case is open it won't slide, like off an airplane tray table.

As might be expected, you have to accept some inherent design compromises, which to me were acceptable. First, the keyboard which resembles a Blackberry is not as well situated as a Blackberry, since it is on the side opposite the PDA when the clamshell case is open. This makes for awkward typing. Another problem, reported by another reviewer (THANKS!), is that the PDA can be a little loose in the plug, but a few discrete layers of double-sided tape increased the tension so that this problem is eliminated.

For me these shortcomings are acceptable compared to those of the large keyboards. Very handy PDA accessory!

Read Best Reviews of Fellowes Type N Go Keyboard and Bumper Case for Handspring Here

I bought one today, I just had to try this out. I own the Targus folding keyboard. But w/ that keyboard, you are limited to where you can use it, but I do like the Targus keyboard.

After loading the software & having a chance to try it out (Type N Go), I am not sure if I like the Type N Go. The other reviewers are right about this product. It will not work w/ your Handspring, if the connection w/ the Type N Go is not good. So adding some tape or velcro to the top will add tension. And the lock does have a tenedency to become unlock. So be aware of this flaw. Using the keyboard is awkward. I guess it will take some time to get used to. I just have to learn how all the different keys/functions work. I know it took a little time to get used to the Targus keyboard. The buttons are on the small side, but I can easily type faster than using the graffiti writing. You can pretty much do all the functions on the Type N Go. BUT, you still have to use a stylus on some functions. Do not be misled that the stylus is used minimal. But something that has not been mentioned from other reviewers is, the Type N Go has its own stylus, that is built in on back of the case. This is a nice feature, that you do not have to unlock the Handspring to use that stylus. It's just a plain stylus w/ no ball point pen. But it is accessible if you need to use a stylus for some functions.

The case is a bit bulky. But not as bulky as when I had a Targus case to carry the Handspring & the Targus keyboard. What's nice about the Type N Go case is, it will protect your Handspring & you can do most functions using the keyboard. With the Targus keyboard, I had to hook up the Handspring to it. For those who own the Targus keyboard, you know how difficult it can be to dock your Handspring to it. It can be quite frustrating at times. Also, there is a backlight button on the Type N Go. You can toggle the backlight to be on or off, not like the backlight on the Handspring, which will turn off your unit, then you have to it turn back on.

With the Type N Go, after I get used to it, I may not have to use the graffiti anymore. I just need to get used to holding it, see what feels comfortable. After a few minutes of holding the case, you're hand gets a bit tired. The case & the Handspring weighs some, & you will feel the weight after some time using. I've tried putting it down flat on the table. Works great, but the glare from the light affects the screen. So tilting it helps.

This product is a good idea, but something that would improve on the design would be to somehow lock the case open flat. Or to have it locked slightly folded, so you can have a better hold in your hand. If Fellowes reads this, and they can improve w/ this suggestion, I think they'll sell a ton of the Type N Go.

So this product is good, it just needs a refinement for better holding. One last note, I'm right handed, so using the Type N Go feels okay. I'm not sure left handed users will be comfortable using this, I don't know, just a thought.....

Want Fellowes Type N Go Keyboard and Bumper Case for Handspring Discount?

One wonders if anyone at Fellowes tested this out before manufacture.

The bad

Dock Lock: The first unit I received had such a flimsy lock that the keyboard would not stay docked with my Visor Neo. I tried tape, but it was only partly effective and makes removing the PDA for Hotsync difficult. And for the price, one shouldn't have to hold the thing together with tape! On advice of Fellowes customer service, I exchanged the keyboard/case for another. The tiny lock is much better but still prone to disengage occasionally, so I must ensure it's still latched before I turn on the PDA. Customer service is also sending me a shim kit that is supposed to help the Neo fit more snugly.

Stylus: The stylus (still needed at times) is cheap plastic with a poor feel, but the PDA's much nicer one is inaccessible in this case. The stylus conveniently stores in the back of the case, but this prevents the case from lying completely flat, so typing is sometimes a little bouncy.

Keyboard: At the most, two fingers can be comfortably used for typing. Since the left side of the case is thicker than the right which contains the keyboard, using the left hand is more difficult because it bumps against the side of the case. I have yet to find a use for some of the buttons.

The good -

Sturdy case.

Quicker, more error-free character entry that with Graffiti (at least for me).

Useful enough to be a keeper despite its flaws, but I'll keep an eye out for the next generation.

Used this to connect to a regular mag mount antenna, and am getting great range. Haven't measured SWR or anything but seems to be hitting the repeaters I'm after. It does what it is supposed to, no problems.

The mount into the radio is a little weird in that it has a 'nut' whose purpose I can't figure out, but it's no harm.

EveCase Pink Folio PU Leather Protective Cover Case with Built-in Stand + Clear LCD Screen Protector + USB Cable + Car Charger + Travel Charger + Black Stylus for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Android TouchScreen TabletThis case worked great with my Samsung Galaxy Tab. It protects it, and you can use all inputs, and cameras with the case on. Seller was very good and case and accessories came quickly.

I bought this mainly for the cover. It came exactly on time. Was what I expected and am very pleased with the product. The accessories were an added bonus for the price!

The case was for my 5 year old daughter so she would not break the Galaxy tab! Over all its a good product, It would have been nice to have a little elastic to hold the tablet in place better. It slides down so when you want to use the camera you have to realighn it in the case. Overall for the money a very good product. I have not had to use the chargers yet for it as I have been using the ones that came with the device.

WILL NOT stand up, flips over instantly, again, poor design of the case. Also, when open, very awkward feeling, as the cover doesn't lay flat behind, so to use the strap it doesn't feel secure using only one hand. Not comfortable to hold in left hand either. Although, this is NOT the fault of the seller, just a VERY POOR DESIGN. Screen cover is impossible to apply without having air bubbles and dirt and\or dust particles underneath no matter how good you clean the surface. The tablet kinda fits inside the space provided although, be sure the camera is not obscured as it likely will cause it's so flimsy to hold on to. The crease of the front cover is very cheap acts as the base for the stand, which promptly falls over immediately. POS!!!!

The chargers are handy. The case fits but will not stand up when set up. The weight of the tablet seems to make it topple over. It does protect the unit, though.

Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 11.6-Inch Netbook Carrying Case (Deluxe Bag - Dark Blue / Black)

Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 11.6-Inch Netbook Carrying CaseI just recieved the bag today but am pleased so far. It is hard to tell how durable or thick a bag or sleeve will be. The bag seems to be thick enough to protect some as much as just a bag can. it is small though. not sure what size my netbook is but it fit perfectly. It is big enough to hold the netbook, cords and some spare room left. It is well worth the money, in stores the bags are expensive and plain. I did not want a plain black bag since it is for my 7 year old son and it is hard to find nice bags for boys.

This is the only bag I could find that met my requirements. It is a good fit for my 11.6 inch notebook computer, it has room for a mouse and power supply, and it is reasonably priced. In fact, it is a very good value.

I would prefer a bit more protection for the edge of my notebook computer near the zipper opening of this bag. It really is a close fit, and the zipper area just seems a bit exposed.

I also think that the bag is just a tiny bit tacky looking. The zipper pulls just don't look right to me, and the colors are bright. I would prefer a more dignified appearance personally.

But in the end this is the best little bag I could find and I am enjoying it.

New OEM Verizon LG Chocolate 3 VX8560 Belt Clip Holster
  • Belt Clip Holster

This is a great clip that lets you use your phone without unhooking from your belt. It could be a little thinner if they didn't leave space for the extended battery. I actually use mine with my phone in it face in so that my LCD doesn't get messed up. It means I can't see the display with it in the belt clip but I don't do that anyway. It is easier to just slide the phone out of the clip than to pull the whole thing off belt to look at the phone.

Metro Vacuum DVR-1 DataVac 3-in-1 Cordless Desktop Computer Cleaning System

Metro Vacuum DVR-1 DataVac 3-in-1 Cordless Desktop Computer Cleaning System
  • Compact, lightweight, portable high powered vacuum/blower
  • Cleans dust and dirt from computers and office equipment, cuts maintenance costs.
  • Less than 7" long, and weighs 8 oz., cleans the smallest places
  • Includes 3 in 1 power unit charging station, 4 rechargeable batteries, 110 volt ac adaptor; micro extension tool, micro dust brush and blower adaptor
  • One year warranty

I purchased this item hoping to put an end to all the compressed air cans that I use to clean. This was a waste of money and time all the thing does is make noise and give a slight breeze. You could easily blow more dust off of your equipment with your own lungs, even if they are filled with tar, than you can with this blower, and you might as well just scoop up anything that you want to use the vacuum to clean. I was very disappointed in this product.

Buy Metro Vacuum DVR-1 DataVac 3-in-1 Cordless Desktop Computer Cleaning System Now

If I live to be 140, I know my last dying gasp will produce more suction than this "vacuum." It is basically useless in other ways as well. The bristles on the brush attachment are far too stiff, rendering them incapable of curling around small components to loosen dust particles underneath. The exhaust vent (which doubles as a rather asthmatic "blower") is positioned in such a way that it actually blows much of what little dust is picked up back into the item you're vacuuming. And to top it all off, when I placed the unit into its charging station, it would not seat properly on the leads, so it wouldn't even charge. In short: just another made-in-China piece of junk.

The charger is very convenient. Power related to AD/DC is extremely useful. High-tech design and features. Sucking and blowing power does not measure up to the price. It has an extremely disappointing performance. It feels like a child toy rather than a useful tool for a personal computer or laptop. Will not recommend anyone to purchase this item due to the lack of performance.

  • Use Microsoft Pocket Outlook Contacts as your destination

This product really expanded the usefulness of my Samsung i-700 PDA/Phone. The first week, it was a huge help in getting me into the heart of Chicago with only one wrong turn (the turns were too close together for the unit to switch fast enough!). The one small glitch I had with getting the GPS to power-up was solved with a quick phone call to Pharos, and I've had no problems since. My only grumbles have been that my PDA cannot be made to stay on more than 5 minutes, while powered; and the Ostia maps are not as detailed as Microsoft Streets & Trips. Otherwise, Great!

  • Copy data between two memory cards or between either card and your computer
  • Easy to use: just drag and drop your files

So two things happened that [were bad]:

1) I bought a laptop, not realizing that it didn't have a floppy drive.

2) My digital camera came with a secure digital card that was WAY too small to be useful (16MB), and I immediately replaced it with something practical. Now what to do with that tiny little card?

Needing a way to transfer files at home and at work, I bought this great little card reader. I love it!!

The set up was a little shaky; I couldn't get get it to work and it kept crashing my computer. After about 10 minutes of this, I put the card back in the camera, reformatted it, and PRESTO! Works great, and with XP required no set up software. I can hardly believe something this useful is also so [inexpensive]. I guess they figure they'll make money selling bigger cards.

SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card (Retail Package)

SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card
  • High transfer rate for fast copy/download
  • High storage capacity
  • Compatible with all digital cameras, handheld PCs, digital audio players, and other devices that feature a CompactFlash slot
  • Operating shock rating of 2,000Gs, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor

My main problem with this Compact Flash is that the "real-time" performance is very slow. I bought it a year ago for my 5-Megapixel camera, and it makes me wait a long time before I can take my next photo. This gets frustrating when you miss good photo opportunities.

Then, I read this article which reviews Compact Flash cards, and I realized that this particular SanDisk product line is inferior.

The review at DP Review says this Sandisk writes at 6x (where 'x' = 150 KB/sec). I since then, have purchased a 512MB Transcend compact flash which claims to Write at 25x. My camera works much faster now. I have borrowed my friend's IBM Microdrive and that is really fast too.

Buy SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card (Retail Package) Now

The fact of the matter is, at the time of writing this review, there is no better value than this 1 GB disk. It is not as fast as many that you can purchase, but even for me taking wedding photos, my on-camera cache is enough to compensate for that speed. For the average or even semi-professional photographer (unless your goal is to be taking many rapid-fire shots) even this slow speed should be more than enough.

SanDisk quality and their 5 year manufacturer's warranty make this card that much better of a value over the no-name cheap competition.

The card is not perfect. It may fail and you will be stuck with 1 Gig of corrupted imgaes. That could happen with any card that you purchase. The card is slower than some, but most of the cameras being sold today have at least a 4 picture cache which means you will rarely even notice the effects under normal shooting conditions. The card is not the cure-all for the digital storage world, but at the time of writing this review it was only about fifty-nine bucks making it the best value out there that I have seen, all this with no-cost shipping and no sales tax.

So take the plusses and the minusses into account and make your choice...unless you have very special needs that would necessitate a faster card, this will probably be what you should choose.

-Jacob Hantla

Read Best Reviews of SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card (Retail Package) Here

How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The SanDisk SDCFB-1000-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card, like most 1000MB cards, will store on average 1137 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 853 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 512 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 409 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 320 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

One last thing to consider when buying a 1000MB card. Do not necessarily choose the least expensive card available. A 1000MB card should be an investment. You need to consider quality, reliability, and speed with a card of this capacity. Worse case scenario would be you taking this card (and only this card) on vacation with you overseas and for some reason it gets corrupted. Then what do you do? Purchasing a high capacity card changes the game a little, just be mindful of that before you hit the buy button.

I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.

I planned on using this in my PDA for music. Its slowness led to skipping and the more files I added the slower it got until it was unusable. I guess that's why they don't tell you the transfer rate.

The 1 gig capacity eliminates the worry of ever running out of space. In my Nikon, this card affords me close to 800 frames. More than I can imagine using even on a photo vacation.

The quality is superb. I highly recommend this SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card.

Fellowes WriteRight Screen Protectors for Apple iPad, 2 per Pack, Clear (9205701)

Fellowes WriteRight Screen Protectors for Apple iPad, 2 per Pack, Clear
  • Covers entire front of screen
  • Clear static cling, scratch resistant film
  • Protects screen from scratches and reduces screen glare
  • Leaves no residue when removed
  • Works with touch screen

Most negative reviews of screen protectors mention issues with bubbles, trapped dust, misalignment, etc. 99% of it is user error. Some people have even stupidly installed the protective film that is meant to protect the actual screen protector in the package. If the screen protector isn't installed correctly, it will look bad. This applies to all of them, and the majority of the screen protectors on the market are equally difficult (or easy) to install. When reading reviews of any screen protector, look for those that discuss the following:

Fit -how well is the screen protector customized for your device? Some of them are designed to have small border of "unprotected" space around the screen. Some include a cut-out circle to be applied on top of the home button. Others may not have a cutout for the front face-time camera. And some of them are just plain misaligned (but be wary of lone reviewers who say this. It's often a result of improper installation)

Clarity -Speaking in terms of just the clear screen protectors (i.e. no special features like anti-glare, privacy, mirror, smudge-proof, etc), it's important to take note of multiple reviews that talk about distortion of the display. This is most important on a retina screen. You're already going to be sacrificing at least SOME clarity when you put a screen protector on your iDevice's retina display, but there are some "clear" screen protectors out there that produce more distortion than necessary. Some of them have issues with the "orange peel" effect, where the screen, while clear, has the look of a textured surface (like an orange) that distorts the view. Other screen protectors have issues with reflecting an absorbing light, creating a rainbow effect when held at certain angles. Keep in mind, though, that it's usually only noticeable in certain harsh lighting environments, so take note of reviews that mention rainbow distortion in multiple lighting conditions.

Feel -How does your hand (and stylus if you use one) glide across the screen? No screen protector will feel just like your ipad's bare screen, but it shouldn't add too much extra resistance. I've seen screen protectors in the past that made those rubber capacitive styli squeak across the screen. HOWEVER, take note of the following: Most, if not all, screen protectors are packaged with thin plastic films that protect the front and back (adhesive side) of the screen protector itself. After installation, when you peel off the front film, a lot of them will leave behind a little bit of sticky residue. This residue will make the screen protector have a lot of friction, and it can even make the rainbow effect look more intense. But, this residue can be removed relatively easily with eyeglass cleaning solution and a small amount of force with a microfiber cloth. It might take a few "sessions" to fully clean it. I mention this fact because a lot of negative reviews are written in the heat of the moment, in anger. Oftentimes the reviewer took the screen protector off his device after only a couple of hours. As odd as it sounds, screen protectors seem to need some "settling time" before they can be truly evaluated.

Scratch Resistance -The point of a screen protector is to protect your device's bare screen from abrasions, but it's an exercise in futility to use a screen protector that scratches so easily under normal use that you have to replace it every month just to see your screen again. A plastic screen protector will scratch, but some more easily than others. Personally, I use a screen protector because I'm not always a delicate little angel with my electronics. I also like to be able to do a quick spray and wipe down without worrying about rubbing particles of dust, dirt, crumbs, etc. into the iPad's not-as-scratch-resistant oleophobic coating. I need a screen protector that can withstand that abuse over a reasonable amount of time. Most of them will.

Touch Response -most screen protectors are going to reduce the screen's sensitivity to a capacitive stylus. The screen responds to your touch, and a stylus relies on your body contacting the stylus's conductive material making contact with the screen. Add to that another layer between your touch and the digitizer on your ipad, it's inevitable. How much it affects your stylus depends a lot of the quality of the stylus (the amount and quality of conductive surface on the stylus itself), as well as the thickness of the screen protector. Under no circumstances, however, should you ever put up with a screen protector that causes a noticeable reduction in responsiveness to your touch. Most of them are fine in that regard.

Having said all that, I'll preface my review with one more thing: I have a lot of experience installing screen protectors. I've installed them for friends, family, clients, and myself. With most of these screen protectors, there's one simple fact: The product package does not include everything you need to do a proper, successful installation. Save yourself some headache and go to Youtube to find proper instructional videos.

But the issue with this screen protector is that it's prone to scratches on an almost comical level. No other screen protector I've encountered, including the cheap $2 ones that don't even come in a branded package, are this prone to scratches. It looked like a 1-year-old first-gen ipod nano after about 2 days of normal use. If you don't get the reference, let's just say it was pretty scuffed up.

The short and sweet of it is this: This writeright screen protector installs and looks just like the other static-clings on the market, but it is fragile to the point that it should be recalled.

And I realize my review of the actual product was shorter than my intro. I just felt the need to add some credibility to my comments.

I bought the Fellowes WriteRight screen protector kit for my iPad.

The kit comes with 2 screen protectors, a small cleaning cloth, and a cardboard squeegie, in a flat, letter sized cardboard envelope. Each screen protector has a thin protective sheet that easily pulls off (just before applying the thicker, stiffer, flat (not glossy) sheet to the iPad).

The cleaning cloth is just OK; if you don't have something better, it will work. The squeegie, although made of a small piece of cardboard was effective. Everything I needed was there, and it took only a few minutes from the time I opened the package until the protector was applied to my iPad. It clings to the iPad. No water is necessary. It can be lifted and repositioned very easily. It took me a few tries before I got it right.

I was very careful to make sure that the iPad and the area where I was working was as dust free as possible before taking the protective sheet off of the screen protector and applying it to the iPad. Still, a few, tiny dust particles managed to get in there somehow, of course. Nevertheless, they were so minute that it was hardly noticeable, and not at all noticeable after turning on the iPad.

Using the iPad after the screen protector was applied: The clarity seems to be the same as before, maybe a little better because of less glare; my fingers run across the screen with more ease; fingerprints are less noticeable; and glare and background reflections are lessened.

UPDATE: Since I have been using my iPad daily, I have noticed that the tiny air bubbles have been diminishing. When I gently rub them, they eventually disappear. Their were only about 3 of them, but they are all gone now, after just a few days. Maybe the protector has some level of porosity, which allows the air to escape over time. Anyway, I just wanted to write this update in case anyone was concerned about air bubbles. I don't know if large air bubbles would disappear. My bubbles were tiny because I was so careful when applying the protector.

It is good and cheap, except that it's a little too short. In general, it's a good choice. I like this items.

This is my first sreen protector for my ipad. I can't avoid bubbles caused by dust. The second thing I feel a little disappointed is the squeegee card which is useless for me. It didn't remove the bubbles at all, yet, it created some scratches that I had never expected for.

I hope that the bubbles will disappear after few days like someone said.

I was unsure about whether or not to buy this product because of all the negative reviews. I went ahead and got it, however, and feel compelled to clarify that there is absolutely nothing at all wrong with this product besides the fact that people either can't put it on correctly or don't understand what a screen protector is in the first place.

If you want a screen protector and want to save money, buy this. The price is not only reasonable, but it comes with 2. A lot of the complaints on here have to do with dust and bubbles both of which occur when you use any screen protector ever made. The trick is to either a) be more careful when applying it or b) find someone who's good at it and ask them to do it for you. It is not at all a fault of the screen protector itself, which is after all a giant sticky sheet.

I also saw a lot of complaints about fingerprints and distortion of the screen. I have no idea how a clear plastic sheet could "distort" the display, but I, at least, notice no difference. It is clear, after all. Also, fingerprints occurred with and without the screen protector... I see no noticeable difference. Maybe it's just me, but I was already aware that a screen protector WASN'T a super thin force field which is immune to fingerprints and obliterates all dust.

In short, if you don't want to spend a ton of money on a screen protector, this is a great deal.

Lexerd - HP iPAQ 111 TrueVue Anti-glare PDA Screen Protector

Lexerd - HP iPAQ 111 TrueVue Anti-glare PDA Screen Protector
  • Ultra Thin
  • Anti-glare
  • Guarantee To Preserve Original Color Tones
  • Heat, Water Resistance, Against Scratches and Shields Damage
  • Not Interfere with Touch screen Technology

The product came in a timely manner, and it comes with a set of latex finger fitters so you are able to install flawlesly. It also came with a plastic card so that all bubbles are easily removed. I had used my iPAQ 116 without this protector for two months and was worried that the marks left by normal use on the screen with the stylus (it leaves marks even if careful, it is my third iPAQ) would show, and to my surprise they do not appear in the background. Very happy with this item.

Palm Stylus 3-Pack (3178WW)

Palm Stylus 3-Pack
  • 3 fully assembled Zire 72 Styli
  • Packaged with 3 replacement Tungsten E/E2, TX and Tungsten T5 quills

GREAT!!!! The feeling is rigth, the weigth is rigth and it fits perfectly! It comes with caps for Tungsten E and Zire 72

Buy Palm Stylus 3-Pack (3178WW) Now

I bought this 3-pack despite the negative reviews here. Visually, there is almost no difference between these and the original stylus. These are lighter than the original stylus (which I thought was overly heavy anyway), but are still comfortable, with a metal shaft. The fact that a pen is included more than makes up for any loss in weight. The reset pin is kind of useless since you can just use the stylus itself to reset a TX, but it could come in handy for resetting someone else's Palm. It comes with interchangeable snap-on caps so that they will work with some other Palm models (Tungsten E/E2 and Zire 72).

For my old Palm I paid $12 for the Pentopia stylus with a pen, and for the same price you get 3. I liked the Pentopia's springloaded stylus tip, but this one is fixed, just like the original. Also I don't think these are refillable, but I don't use this often enough to run out of ink, just when I don't have a pen handy.

This is a great product, don't be scared away by the bad reviews.

UPDATE: After a year I am still on the first of my three styluses, so they are durable. The pen runs dry under heavy use, but then works again later. Where the tip end screws into the shaft, it gets loose, so I put some glue on the threads to help hold it in place. The cap on the pen still snaps firmly in place.

I'm not a negative person, in fact I try to see the best in most everything but when it came to actually USING these stylus with my Palm TX it JUST WASNT WORKING.

Frustratingly the stylus easily slid in its holding area in my unit but when it was needed, when sliding it out, it ALWAYS separated before actually COMING out of the holder.

I have identified the problem: the interchangeable 'head' or top piece (used to adapt this stylus to other units) which simply SNAPS on should actually be a screwed on piece as, with use, the SNAP part fails and thus it no longer functions as one piece causing the problems mentioned above.

TWO of the three stylus dont hold when removed from the handheld (failing snap part).

FRUSTRATINGLY I've switched back to my original stylus knowing I have only ONE operational backup stylus even though I purchased a three pack.

This is a cheap lightweight substitute made to sell at a low price point. I would gladly pay $20 for ONE of the original weighty styli that came with my TX.

These styli are well worth the purchase price, but a few things are worth mentioning. The bottom portion of the stylus is screwed in (that's where the reset pin resides) and regularly becomes loose. When it first happened, I thought that the tip was mounted on a spring and it actually made the stylus more comfortable, though I suspect that the threading would wear out if one used it for long in that manner. One of the three styli had the plastic tip fall off. It's easy to fix with a drop of Krazy Glue, but if it fell off unnoticed, it would have rendered the entire stylus unusable. Keep an eye out for loose plastic tips! My final criticism is cosmetic. With heavy use, the chrome plating dulled within a couple of weeks where it makes contact with the skin (and I'm pretty sure I don't ooze hydrochloric acid).

With these or the original stylus, I strongly recommend the use of plastic screen protectors. The tips are relatively soft, but prolonged use will leave irreparable marks on an unprotected screen, especially on spots where you tend to tap most often.

Other than that, it's a great little product. The weight is good, though lighter than the original stylus, the pen writes very nicely and smoothly, and the reset pin is solid metal and doesn't bend out of shape like the flimsy plastic one on the original. With the appropriate (included) cap, it fits perfectly in the Tungsten E2 slot. I'll leave it to other reviewers to comment on the fit with other models.
