I think the previous reviewers of this amazing camcorder don't know how to use this camcorder. If you really wanna see the amazing quality of this camera then go to yout*** and type in viewsonic 3dv5 and see for yourself. This camcorder is basically same as Aiptek 3D camcorder then how come aiptek has good review and this not. Problem is with the users and not the product. I would like to request here that please don't give bad name to a product if you don't know how to use it. Thanks

Since this camera is the same as the aiptek 3d camera and it had great reviews after the firmware update, I tried it on the viewsonic. I downloaded the aiptek 3d firmware update from the UK site and it applied to the viewsonic just fine. Still has the viewsonic startup screen after update.

Without the update the pictures were a little blocked and only seemed like it was a 10 frames/sec. With the update applied the pictures look a little grainer but no blocky and the frames per sec seem around 25 or so which seems to be a big improvement in quality.

I attempted the update because I was not happy with the way it came out of the box and the video it took. Pictures were good video was bad. After the firmware update the video is good and the risk paid off with a good camera.

I recently received the ViewSonic 3D cam, and so far I am very pleased with it. The 3D images it takes are very good, specially for a camera that was less than 100 dollars shipped. The software that ships with it is very nice for viewing the videos or still shots, but if the video is very long, it takes a looong time to edit, even on a decent computer. I've found that if you keep the video length under 5 minutes, it does fine. The camera itself is very easy to use, it's def a point and shoot camera, because there are virtually no user adjustable settings...you can change the time and date, and format the card, but that's about it. But that's not a bad thing; to those people who are overwhelmed by all the cryptic settings on some cameras. The camera also has a digital zoom, but with all digital zooms, you lose resolution the more you zoom. I've found that zooming halfway still leaves a fairly decent image, anymore and it becomes too pixelated to suit me.It's also very important to frame your shots well, a cut off subject too close to the cam causes that headache inducing blur.Battery life is about an hour shooting video, but Amazon has generic batteries for this cam cheap..I bought 2 spares and a multi-use charger for about 14 dollars shipped. Overall, I think this is a very good 3D camera, and a great way to start 3D filming.

As others have suggested, this is (at best) a "work in progress" and was not ready for market item. I bet ViewSonic and others ( COME ON FLIP 3D !!) will perfect this to a level where one could get acceptable results. Unfortunately, we are 'not quite there'.

The screen on the back is novel, and can be fun to show-off for short periods of timeyou (somewhat oddly) se INTO the picture, rather than things popping out, you can demo this as you switch between 2-D and 3-D. When not viewed on the camera itself, it is a bargain basement version of red-blue tech that was around 50-60 years ago.

The smallish screen is a conversation starter to be sure, and this might be enough for some consumers this is NOT the type of camera you see 'everywhwere'.

The picture quality is ok on the small screen, but suffers when shown on a computer or TV. The red/blue format is hard to shoot with high level cameras, and requires a LOT of light (well positioned at that!) for the effect to work at all. The grainy result you get with this sort-of works, but only as a novelty and is taxing to watch.

On the plus side(grin), the blurry picture can make your 'cast' appear to be ageless, I suppose. (who needs BOTOX,when you have THIS?)

The camera is plastic and rather bulky, does not particularly feel or look high-end it is a virtual twin of the Aiptek 3D unit ( which is slightly better reviewed..)so much so, that I wonder if they made it, and put the ViewSonic name on it.

ViewSonic is a brand that is trying to re-position itself, much like the Vizio brand has done honestly, most consider ViewSonic to be a club-store/drugstore bargain brand, for the moment. BUT, I see them creating exciting new products such as mid-to-high end tablets, and much nicer TV's. My guess is that this imperfect product was rushed to the market.

In conclusion, unless you must be first on the block ( and some of us are!) for some tech, you might want want to wait until ViewSonic comes out with an improved 2G model.

There are several outstanding 2D pocket cam's out there, certainly from Flip and Kodak. Hope this helps! This is NOT is not horrible cam, but it may not be one that you use every day.

Too bad I can't give this product a -1 star. It can record in 3D for sure and the glasses LCD screen is kind of cool but overall this product is not ready for the market.

Problem 1: There are no easy way for you to watch the 3D content on your 3D TV.

Hook up to your TV using the build in HDMI. It only send out video only signal so your 3D video will have no sound. Photo works better but the device lacks a slide show feature or a remote. Therefore unless you have a VERY long HDMI cable you will need to walk up to the unit to change picture.

Hook up to your TV using the USB port. It works for videos and now you have full sound. But because it does not store the photo in 3D photo standard your TV will have no idea how to display it. So now you can watch video but no 3D picture.

Using it on a PC. Unless you have a Nvidia 3D setup on your PC, the build in software will default to red/blue glasses display. The problem is this camera lacks any AWB function so the color are way off to begin with. The red/blue tint added by the software make the picture/video completely unwatchable.

Problem 2: Picture quality

For 2D it is actually not bad. The picture quality will be roughly the same as a camera phone or low-mid end Flip. Is not great but is passable.

For 3D picture it get a score of "D". The color are way off, picture is very noise but the 3D quality kind of balance it out. However, 3D video is a totally different story. Even with no digital zoom the video is VERY block-ie. The picture will be completely mosaic if you turn on any level of digital zoom.

  • Laptop Compartment: 1.38"x14.17"x19.69"
  • Water-resistant weather cover protects against dust, rain, or snow

I own an extremely big laptop (ASUS G73JH-X1). I could never find a bag that looked good and functioned properly. Lugging around a 12 lbs laptop with a messenger bag isn't smart.

This bag has plenty of room for my laptop and the pocket is lined with what can only be described as dead Muppet fur, which is as luxurious as it sounds. There are plenty individual pockets and all with what reminds me of a massacre on Sesame Street. As graphic as it sounds, my iphone, mouse, power supply, cooling stand, etc. are exquisitely caressed by what appears to be the flesh of Ernie.

There is even a rain cover to keep it from the elements! An amazing backpack. I don't know a lot about Everki, but I'm now a life long customer and will recommend this backpack to my friends and family.

The biggest con is the price, but the simple fact is you pay for expert craftsmanship and, come on, Muppet fur. I think it comes out to about 10% of the price of my laptop so it's worth it to keep it safe and sound. Looks cool and comfortable to wear. I love this bag.

After weeks at Staples, MicroCenter, BestBuy and OfficeMax I finally decided to bite the bullet and spend the money for this bag. It fits my M17x like a glove, and carries tons of other stuff to boot (a netbook, a couple notebooks, a cordless mouse, and there's still room left over. My one complaint is that the shoulder straps are at a slightly wider width than most backpacks (Northface et certa); this was something I got used to in a week or so. Other than that it's got a stuff picket on the bottom with a waterproof jacket for the outside, I also stuffed a raincoat in there. The laptop compartment is very well padded and has a lining that I am confident would never scratch my machine. If you've got a massive laptop it's definitely the way to go, if I had known how great this backpack was I would have skipped the shopping process and just bought it from day 1.

I did not buy this bag from Amazon, as a matter of fact, I logged in to find a replacement. I have had this backpack for 18 months and it shows hardcore wear for no good reason. I have an 18" Toshiba Qosmio and I use it everyday.

The compartment is well padded side to side (Top and bottom of computer)but there is little padding at the bottom and NONE at the corners. The supplied rain jacket is not waterproof, just resistant. Your backpack will be damp if caught outside as the rain works through the rain jacket. After several uses the inner lining of the rain jacket began to deteriorate leaving a white residue. One of side pockets at the bottom has uncloseable slit (For an Mp3 player I guess) that can spit out a thumbdrive. The gaming console sleeve is pretty useless and flimsy, but I wanted a laptop bag. If you have a big laptop, it will intrude into the storage area and create a lip at the bottom that you will have to feel under for objects as it will be out of your sight line. A rip has appeared at left front zipper seam holding the main compartment which goes all the through to the inside exposing the inside.

The case carries: An 18" Toshiba Qosmio computer, a wireless mouse, large OEM power supply, three thumbdrives and three (Tiny 2.5") Seagate GoFlex external drives.

This items do not even fill the bag to half capacity. The total weight is about 18 pounds. I do not toss, throw or abuse this bag, I just use it normally everyday with an office job. Nothing else rides in the bag. If your are using this bag only occasionally, then it might be worthy -But for a $100+? (FYI, I wanted to love this bag.)

Update -August 2012: I have not had the time or money to buy a new backpack and since originally posting I want to add this: There is a clip on the front that secures the two shoulder straps and rests over your sternum. It is a three pronged male to female design. One of the prongs just snapped off from plastic fatigue (I guess) the load on the strap was moderate to low.

I recently purchased an Asus G74sx 17.3" widescreen laptop which is a large beast of a laptop. With the laptop, I initially ordered a Case Logic (17") backpack which is an exceedingly tight fit. This laptop is very thick and long compared to others.

Looking for something larger and thinking the slightly higher pricetag would get me something nicer I ordered the Everki Beacon. I initially thought if it could accommodate the G73, my G74 should fit, right?

Wrong.

Had I read a little deeper into the reviews for this bag, I would have found the initial review warning off potential buyers with G74s.

This backpack *can* carry the G74sx, but not in the padded compartment intended for laptops. The G74sx will fit in the second compartment, but this seems a poor choice, as now you lose the ability to carry much else, and requires the (re)moval of the laptop to get at anything else in the compartment.

All told, this is a great bag, but it will not fit my intended cargo. Sadly, merely unpacking the backpack makes it ineligible for return to Amazon. Fortunately, I could either ebay it or give it to someone I know who has a gaming console they take to parties.

I have an ASUS G73JW, a DSLR, Logitech G53 headset, couple of earphones, a Kindle, Sansa, and a bunch of clothes that I carry around with me. After looking around (because I had enough of lugging a duffel bag), I decided to throw in twice the amount of the Targus XL and bought the Everki Beacon.

I was expecting a huge backpack to arrive but not exactly. It's actually a pretty decent average size with generous pocket space for all my electronics.

First thing that strikes you would be, holy crap this thing is really well-made. All my previous laptop backpacks feel flimsy compared to this ruggedness. Definitely well worth the $100 and extra express shipping fees to get it.

If you're still pivoting between to buy or not to buy, just buy it. Well worth every penny.

Great leather case. It protects my iPad very well. I love the multi-position easel back. The card holder has elastic to put your hand through, so you won't drop your iPad. Love the magenta color. I highly recommend this case.

Only issue is taking a picture that is not front facing while in the case. The circle on the outer case is not quite large enough, so you have to take it off the outer case. No big deal since it is just the Velcro that holds it in. It is the same as changing from landscape to portrait, not completely removing the iPad from the case.

This case is very pretty, high quality and protect my iPad4 very well but it blocks iPad back camera because it is too thick back part (When I detached out cover, it works).

I think this case is good for traveling or a person do not use back camera often.

I like how well this case protects my iPad, but the notches don't hold the stand in place very well. If those were deeper I would rate it a four or five. If it came in more colors AND the notches were deeper it would definitely get a five. I was hoping for a nice green (not fluorescent).

I love the rooCase because it can stand at multiple angles. I bought one a year ago and love it. I bought a second one recently and it is different. The iPad fits in a seperate sleeve that velcros into the folding case. This adds additional weight and bulk from the original, but it also is nice because I can take the iPad out of the folding case (like for ease of taking pictures) and the iPad is still protected.

BoxWave ClearTouch Apple iPad mini Screen Protector (2-Pack) - Premium Quality Screen Guard to Shiel

BoxWave iPad mini ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector - Premium Quality Anti-Glare, Anti-Fingerprint Matte Film Skin to Shield Against ScratchesI put the film on OK but the sticky glue from the paper tab was left on the front of the screen protector. I tried both of them and threw them away.

Anti-glare effect no so great but quite enough. A little bit harsh to install without any dust : the home-button hole makes it hard to remove the film because of the angle of the peeling, but since there is a second one for less than a single one from other vendors, it makes up for it.

White with Black and Red Lilly Flower Snap on Apple Ipod Touch 4 / 4th / 4G / itouch Gen Generation 8GB 32GB 64GB Mp3 Case + Microfiber BagA great case for the price. It snaps together easily and works fine with my mirrored screen protector. No paint has scratched off yet, even though I am clumsy and dropped it a few times. It is fairly flimsy, but that's not unexpected due to the fact that it's a very low price. It is thin and easy to access all of the buttons and USB/headphones jacks. The bag is nice and makes it easy to keep in my purse without worrying about extra scratches. Is a nice case and I am overall satisfied with my purchase.

Hewlett Packard Jornada 720 Sync Cable

Hewlett Packard Jornada 720 Sync Cable
  • Connects desktop PC and Jornada 720 Handheld PC for synchronization
  • Easy connectivity with serial port
  • 90-day warranty
  • Black to match Jornada casing

I could almost do everything I wanted by just trasferring cab files for program installation, and other data files via a USB memory stick or CF memory card between my laptop and the Jornada 820. However, using Windows CE services to convert my Word and Excel documents between the full and pocket versions manually (which ActiveSync usually does for you automatically) was getting old. So, I got this cable and it works great supports serial speeds up to 115k. The connector is sturdier than regular 9-pin serial. So it's good for what you need it for.

Epson B11B206201 WorkForce DS-30 Portable Document Scanner

Epson B11B206201 WorkForce DS-30 Portable Document Scanner
  • Scan directly to the cloud
  • Scan documents up to 8.5"x14" including business, rigid I.D. and credit cards
  • Travel friendly, weighs under 1 lb, Windows and Mac compatible
  • USB powered, doc management suite included
  • Search and edit scanned text, create PDFs and PDF/A documents

First things first: This is not a portable "wand" scanner, i.e. a scanner you can wave/roll over things like books or whatever, and store images for use later.

Instead, this is a slot loaded document scanner. It scans documents through a thin slot. The documents have to be flat, but can be somewhat rigid. The maximum width is 8.5", and the maximum supported length is 14".

Basically, this scanner can scan standard and legal sized pieces of paper, and paper sheets smaller than that.

It CANNOT scan books or any other document that won't fit in that slot. There are portable scanners that can do that, and they look something like this. So it's good to get that out of the way.

In addition, this scanner is NOT self powered, and it does NOT have onboard memory. You MUST plug this scanner into a PC/laptop (Windows and Mac both supported with the included install CDs). So this is hardly a solution you'll stick in your back pocket or your purse.

OK, so much for the limitations. How is this at what it does? The answer: Very good. In my tests, I tried single sheets of 8.5x11 paper, 2 sheets at once (double thickness), sheets that were somewhat crumpled, a business card, a birthday card, and a thin round drink coaster. The scanner handled all of them without problem (though the drink coaster had to be supported until it started to go through the scanner). All documents came out the way they went in, with no mis-handling, and no added wrinkles in the documents due to the scanner. I found the text scanning quality to be excellent and completely sufficient for standard optical character recognition using the included Abbyy Finereader 9.0 Sprint software (for Windows).

The resolution of the scanned document can be varied up to 600dpi, which is more than sufficient for both OCR and for scanning full color images for repurposing. The image can be scanned to .jpg, .tiff, .bmp, or .pdf.

In terms of color documents: The quality was very good, and I was surprised at the lack of moire effects in the output images. I found the colors to be good, vibrant, and quite deep, but sometimes slightly off, especially in the region of purples and blues. Skintones were close to dead on.

By default, the software suit installs so that images are scanned at a lower resolution to a .pdf file by default. But these defaults are easily changable through an options panel.

Scanning time was not bad, taking about 45 seconds to do a full color 600dpi scan of an 8.5x11 document.

The software suite that is included is sufficient: A couple of Epson scanning programs (including one that auto activates when you press the scan button on the physical scanner), a limited version of the excellent (in its full form) Abbyy Finereader (9.0 Spirit) OCR program, and a business card reader (NewSoft Presto! BizCard). (Abbyy is replaced by NewSoft Page Manager if you are installing on a Mac). The Abbyy program should be more than sufficient for OCR of standard text documents. It is probably too limited if your intent is to take complex layout originals and reproduce the entirety of layout in your captured document. But for capturing blocks of text or numbers, it's more than adequate.

The user's guide is online--not terrible, but annoying.

There are hooks in the scan capture program that allow you to direct your scans to cloud locations like Google Documents and Evernote, as well as to standard destinations on your local hard drive.

Overall, this is a nice tool, although the slot loaded nature of it limits who this will be useful for. The scan quality is good, and it's reasonably fast. This will not replace the value of a good flat bed scanner, and I found that while the color images it scanned were surprisingly good and deep looking, the colors did tend to be somewhat off in the purple/blue end of the spectrum.

If you're a road warrior who needs to scan documents, I can't imagine you'll do better than this. If you're looking for something for the office, on the other hand, and can afford the bigger footprint of a flat bed scanner, one of Epson's flat bed scanners in the similar price range offers more flexibility and quality that's at least as good.

The package includes the scanner, a usb cable, software install CDs, a calibration card, a couple of cleaning sheets, and an inexpensive bag/case for the scanner.

There's a lot to like in this compact little Epson WorkForce DS-30 Portable Color Document Scanner, and it's not just its small size. But although my first impressions were that it was a solid workhorse in a small package, it didn't hold up with the test of time, and became an exercise in frustration, putting it simply

Simple points first...

Pros:

+ Compact and lightweight, yet a very solid feel overall

+ Real 600 dpi resolution; nice image quality

+ Scans 8½ x 11 and legal size documents and even business cards & receipts

+ Excellent auto size detection; handles business cards with ease

+ Light weight; just over ½ pound

+ Scans directly to the cloud; no problem with Google Documents

+ Good text enhancement; does OCR quite well

+ USB-powered; no batteries or power cord needed

Cons:

Software is very sketchy; sometimes just doesn't work

USB issues; sometimes connects, other times it doesn't

First impressions:

Right out of the box it was easy to see that this Epson WorkForce DS-30 scanner is a tight little product. It's well packaged, and inside is the scanner itself, a USB cable with a Velcro strap, a simple carry bag with a drawstring closure, two installation CDs (1 PC and 1 Mac), some calibration and cleaning sheets and a setup guide. That guide stated that it was important to not install the USB cable until the software was installed, and I did that. Inserting the CD and following the directions was an easy process.

Regarding the CDs, one is for Windows 7, Vista and XP variants; the other is for Mac OS X 10.5.6, 10.6x and 10.7x. It's also advisable to check online for any software updates are available from Epson. Though I will use this primarily with a MacBook Pro, I installed it on a Windows 7 notebook as I've upgraded the OS on the Mac.

In Use:

On the PC, a 'WorkForce DS-30 User's Guide' shows up after the installation. I followed the online guide and ran the calibration sheet, and all was smooth and painless. In operation I tried scanning first a few 8½ x 11 printed documents and a then couple that were 'chicken-scratched' notes from a legal size worksheet with handwritten notes, and each worked smoothly as expected. I tried a few business cards and then a couple of receipts. The receipts were flimsy, so care should be exercised, the same thing that I found with my older NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner that has been in use for almost three years.

There was no problem with scanning documents directly to the cloud once the online directions were followed, and I ran a few of them to Google Documents. The auto size detection worked properly, and the OCR text enhancement was good enough that I could easily create a few PDF files with ease, when the software wasn't acting up. It handles color reasonably, though I'll be tweaking some of the images that was to be expected. This diminutive scanner is decent for general home office use when using it on the Windows 7 PC, and it takes up just a small amount of desk space. It does a better job than my older HP flatbed scanner, but my older NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner does a better job overall, putting it simply.

This Epson WorkForce DS-30 Portable Color Document Scanner does black & white, color, OCR, and does it in a small, solid and lightweight package. It does what I need and does it well when it doesn't have USB or software issues on the Windows 7 PC. But when I ran it on the Mac (OS X 10.8.x), the USB issues really showed up. It works OK on the PC about 75-80% of the time, but reboot your computer first. On the Mac I've gone back to using the NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner.

Your results may vary.

Like many on-the-road business people I always travel with my "office in a bag." My laptop computer, iPad, Canon portable i90 printer, etc., etc. When I received an opportunity to get this product I had to stop and think "Do I really need one more thing to lug through airports, taxis and hotel lobbies? The answer is, yes, I really do.

When I first started to carry a small printer on my trip I was very surprised at how often I used it and how convenient it was. Boarding passes, emails, product spec sheets, maps, all could now be printed out anytime and anywhere that I wanted. Now that I have my portable scanner my experience has been almost the same. I almost can't imagine being without one now.

I work in a competitive industry and my home office expects those of us on the field to be their eyes and ears. Now, if I see a brochure for a new product from a competitor I can scan it, sheet by sheet, and send it to the home office the same day that I found it.

The software could be better as it took a long time to load, but once that was done it was fairly easy to figure out. I like to save scanned documents as JPEGS since it is easy to doctor them if I need to. The quality of the scans are very good, not stellar, but very good. The unit itself is so small that I hardly notice that I have it. All in all I am very pleased with this item and recommend it often to my co-workers and customers.

This is a good basic bus-powered (no power brick) sheet-fed scanner suitable for anyone who needs to scan documents away from their office or home.

It is compatible with the scanner driver built into Mac OS since the later versions of Snow Leopard (10.6). You can do basic scans and create PDF's without installing the Epson software that comes with the scanner (plug the scanner into to a USB port on your Mac, open the Preview application, choose Import From Scanner on the File menu, the Epson DS-30 should be on the pop-out list).

If you use the installation disc that come with the DS-30 it installs:

Epson Scan Scanning software that gives you a lot more control over your scans than the scanner software built into OSX.

Presto! PageManager Standard document management software that, among other things, lets you split or merge PDF documents.

Presto! BizCard 5 dedicated software for scanning and parsing the information on business cards.

ABBYY Fine readerOptical Character Recognition (OCR) software used to convert scanned documents into editable text.

The DS-30 physically resembles the NeatReceipts scanner. I tried the DS-30 with the Neat software. It worked one time out of several attempts; in the other cases, the software did not recognize the scanner. It is somewhat faster than my four-year old Neat scanner on ordinary scanning tasks.

I installed all of the software and verified that it all worked with Mac OS 10.7 Lion. I did use the ABBYY OCR software a few times, enough to conclude that you will get decent results scanning reasonably legible documents at higher resolutions (no surprise there). You end up editing virtually any document scanned with consumer scanners and software. The ability of the software to correctly read a business letter increased dramatically going from 200 to 400 dpi, reducing the number or errors from two or three dozen to five or fewer.

The only software I spent a significant amount of time using was Presto! BizCard. I have a box with a couple of hundred business cards I've received over the past few years, so I picked out about 50 to try with the software. I tried to find as many design variations as possible. I've included more information about that experience below.

I scanned over 50 business cards and about two dozen other documents with the DS-30 and found the results to always be acceptable for a document scanner.

The Epson WorkForce DS-30 Portable Document Scanner is a good choice for those who travel and need a decent basic scanner for gathering documents instead of lugging them around until you get back to your home base. It's also worth considering for a home office or dorm situation where space is extremely limited and you have a need for a basic scanner.

-----------------------

Scanning Business Cards

This is slightly off-topic, but I think worth passing along.

BizCard was quite adept at identifying information and putting it in the correct data field. It also saves an image of the card so you can edit the data without having to keep the card. Looking at the results, there are some clear lessons to be learned about designing business cards in an age when a lot of people will just scan them and toss them :

Never, ever, set type on a diagonal. It did not matter if the card had a horizontal or vertical orientation, but any type on a diagonal was ignored.

If your company uses a logotype that distorts or joins letters, spell out the company name elsewhere, possibly as part of the physical address.

Group the elements logically: name, job title, & department; street address, city, state, postal code, & country; email address & web site url; phone numbers. Put each component on a separate line. The software understood most of the common words for differentiating phone numbers (Office, Mobile, Cell, Fax, etc.) and parsed the numbers accordingly.

-Avoid using dashes, bullets, or small logos in or near any typesetting; it may try to interpret them as part of the text if there is too little space between the object and words or numbers (hyphens within phone number are OK).

-Kern carefully, if at all. While kerning (removing space between individual letters) can produce results more pleasing to the human eye, to the scanning software it creates letter pairs that may not read correctly.

Don't spell out your phone number with letters; it will be ignored.

You can leave off "http://," but if you leave off "www," your web site url will be ignored.

-Colored objects and even photos are OK in the background as long as there is sufficient contrast between the background and the type.

-Surprisingly, the most common problems involved names and company names. For these critical items, use legible typefaces that are not significantly out of proportion to the other information on the card. Avoid drop caps, heavy (extra bold) fonts, and the use of any kind of symbol on the same line.

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case for Acer AC700 Chromebook 11.6-Inch Laptop (Black / Red)

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case for Acer AC700 Chromebook 11.6-Inch LaptopI thought this was a really nice, high-quality product -that is, until it took a fall. I dropped it from the about 4 feet up, and it not only broke the zipper, but also the casing of my Chromebook. Now I'm not only out a case due to the completely un-sealable zipper, but my laptop is broken to all h***. Way to go, Roocase. You really screwed me over on this one.

I use this for my new Acer Chromebook and it fits like a glove. I also have my headphones and kindle in the front pouch and it doesn't feel too full and isn't be stretched. Perfect case for the Acer Chromebook.

XtremeGUARD© Barnes & Noble NOOK HD 7" TABLET (2012) Screen Protector (Ultra CLEAR)

XtremeGUARD© Barnes & Noble NOOK HD 7' TABLET Screen ProtectorThe protective cover is of good quality. It was a little challenging to place on the screen. I needed to do many times. But I would purchase again if needed.

I found this on amazon, I usually buy my protectors from Zagg, but they do not offer one for the Nook HD. This one is as good as theirs, it seems to be of the same durable material. It installs the same way, instructions that came with it said to use soapy water, but I had plenty of solution left over from another protector, so I used that. I would recommend this protector to anyone who wants a good quality protector.

Price w/s&h was awesome for $. Came quickly on the first day estimated. Feels like Armour Shield & easy to install but used left over solution from a previous purchase. Only thing it had 2 little defects on the edges that aren't a deal breaker. Screen looks clear.

I got this case to replace a $39.99 marware which got average reviews. Wasn't expecting much for $16 but was pleasantly surprised to see that this case is actually very nice. It fits the kindle fire like a glove. With openings for the on/off switch and headphone jack. The flip stand works well keeping the kindle stable when viewing movies or even tapping the screen.

You can't adjust the flip stand, it only has one setting. But I do like the sturdiness of the flip stand. It has a flap on the back of the case that holds it in place. I can't complain at all as this case not only looks good but at $16 bucks it's not going to break the bank either.

Want Bluecell Black PU Leather Case / Cover Built-in Flip Stand for Kindle Fire E-Book Reader WI-FI Discount?

I ordered this case because the picture made it appear as though it would cover the kindle from all sides (i.e. enveloping the whole device). Accordingly, I thought it would protect the device better and be less likely to fall out.

When it arrived, it was packaged in cheap cellophane and had only a small foam insert. Clearly, not much to it. It was easy to tell this was a cheapo Chinese knockoff case that probably cost $0.75 to produce. This is the type of stuff you'd see at a a street vendor stall in Shenzhen, China. Even worse, upon opening, I was bowled over by fumes of paint/chemicals. It was so nasty that it was hard for me to even use the device without gagging from the noxious smell.

The next day, the case hadn't fully aired out and still smelled like the sweat shop from whence it came.

In addition to the perfume de Guangzhou smell, the case really didn't fit well. It bubbled up on the side and didn't stay flat with the Kindle Fire.

OVERALL: Buy something else. This is a waste even at $15.

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case for Lenovo IdeaPad U330 13.3-Inch LaptopI have a 13 inch macbook pro, and this case is wonderful for it! The inside's padded "bubbles" are great and really make the case feel thick and protective. The outer pocket easily holds my computer's charger, and charger extender cord. The only thing is that I wish the case maybe had a handle, but it's not hard to just carry on its own. Great case!

iPhone5 Soft TPU Bumper (Blue White Frame)

iPhone5 Soft TPU BumperGot this from Hong Kong in just 10 days. No tax, no shipping charge. Looks/feels great. White front edge matches white face of white Iph5. (Blue sides) Gives good grip and side protection. Really is a plus for laying on smooth surfaces as it keeps the otherwise too slippery Iphone from falling off slippery surfaces. No significant thickness to crowd the carrying case I bought from the camera dept at Walmart. On that side note I recommend camera depts for buying cases for people who want soft, zippered, totally enclosed cases for cell phones as opposed to those so called open "cases" sold in the cell phone departments. This bumper guard with an enclosed case is a good combo. I don't want dirt in the connector ports during storage but do want bump protection during use.

Belkin PDA Stylus Pens for Palm III & VII (3-Pack)

Belkin PDA Stylus Pens for Palm III & VII
  • 3-pack of stylus pens
  • Sensitive stylus tip works with PDA touch screens
  • Anodized metal with sturdy plastic tips
  • Designed for Palm III and VII series handhelds
  • Belkin quality product

I had a 3-pack. I dropped one and it broke into 2 pieces. Another rolled off a desk and shattered.

IMHO something this small and light shouldn't break when it falls 3'. It must be made of the cheapest junk on Earth. How the he** can they screw up something like this???

I think I'll go get a stick and whittle it into a new stylus..... It'll take less time than ordering a new pack, and it definitely will be more durable. Will wood scratch my screen?

Buy Belkin PDA Stylus Pens for Palm III & VII (3-Pack) Now

If you use a palm pilot you'll probably need extra pens. For some reason, over time the pens loosen up in the holder and fall out, which mine did. So, I purchased these.

Since you can do so much more with a palm pilot, like actually writing on your touch pad, I haven't converted to using my phone for my handishopper. I'll continue to use my phone as a phone until I can hand-write on the touch pad; then I'll make the switch. Until then I need extra pens for my Palm III!

The item was shipped quickly and I was happy with the transaction.
