GMYLE (TM) Wireless Handheld 5 Button Rechargeable Trackball Mouse for PC Computer Laptop Notebook w
The mouse is good, though I have yet to figure out how or if I can reprogram some of the buttons.
Also, the range is about 20ft, so good for lecture hall and stage style presenting, but not so much if you like to present from the back of the room.I use a trackball and this is good for traveling or when desk space is limited. I like the adjustability of resolution. I inserted the USB dongle, charged the unit and it worked right awat. This mouse came out of the box malfunctioning. After reading the directions and enuring that everything was plugged in and not visibly damaged, I still could get the mouse to turn on.

- Hip pockets for quick access to items like keys, media players, and mobile phone without taking the bag off your back

- 5-point balance strap system evenly distributes weight for comfortable carrying
- Laptop Compartment: 1.38"x14.17"x19.69"
- Water-resistant weather cover protects against dust, rain, or snow
This bag has plenty of room for my laptop and the pocket is lined with what can only be described as dead Muppet fur, which is as luxurious as it sounds. There are plenty individual pockets and all with what reminds me of a massacre on Sesame Street. As graphic as it sounds, my iphone, mouse, power supply, cooling stand, etc. are exquisitely caressed by what appears to be the flesh of Ernie.
There is even a rain cover to keep it from the elements! An amazing backpack. I don't know a lot about Everki, but I'm now a life long customer and will recommend this backpack to my friends and family.
The biggest con is the price, but the simple fact is you pay for expert craftsmanship and, come on, Muppet fur. I think it comes out to about 10% of the price of my laptop so it's worth it to keep it safe and sound. Looks cool and comfortable to wear. I love this bag.
Buy Everki Beacon Laptop Backpack with Gaming Console Sleeve, Fits up to 18-Inch (EKP117NBKCT) Now
After weeks at Staples, MicroCenter, BestBuy and OfficeMax I finally decided to bite the bullet and spend the money for this bag. It fits my M17x like a glove, and carries tons of other stuff to boot (a netbook, a couple notebooks, a cordless mouse, and there's still room left over. My one complaint is that the shoulder straps are at a slightly wider width than most backpacks (Northface et certa); this was something I got used to in a week or so. Other than that it's got a stuff picket on the bottom with a waterproof jacket for the outside, I also stuffed a raincoat in there. The laptop compartment is very well padded and has a lining that I am confident would never scratch my machine. If you've got a massive laptop it's definitely the way to go, if I had known how great this backpack was I would have skipped the shopping process and just bought it from day 1.I did not buy this bag from Amazon, as a matter of fact, I logged in to find a replacement. I have had this backpack for 18 months and it shows hardcore wear for no good reason. I have an 18" Toshiba Qosmio and I use it everyday. The compartment is well padded side to side (Top and bottom of computer)but there is little padding at the bottom and NONE at the corners. The supplied rain jacket is not waterproof, just resistant. Your backpack will be damp if caught outside as the rain works through the rain jacket. After several uses the inner lining of the rain jacket began to deteriorate leaving a white residue. One of side pockets at the bottom has uncloseable slit (For an Mp3 player I guess) that can spit out a thumbdrive. The gaming console sleeve is pretty useless and flimsy, but I wanted a laptop bag. If you have a big laptop, it will intrude into the storage area and create a lip at the bottom that you will have to feel under for objects as it will be out of your sight line. A rip has appeared at left front zipper seam holding the main compartment which goes all the through to the inside exposing the inside.
The case carries: An 18" Toshiba Qosmio computer, a wireless mouse, large OEM power supply, three thumbdrives and three (Tiny 2.5") Seagate GoFlex external drives.
This items do not even fill the bag to half capacity. The total weight is about 18 pounds. I do not toss, throw or abuse this bag, I just use it normally everyday with an office job. Nothing else rides in the bag. If your are using this bag only occasionally, then it might be worthy -But for a $100+? (FYI, I wanted to love this bag.)
Update -August 2012: I have not had the time or money to buy a new backpack and since originally posting I want to add this: There is a clip on the front that secures the two shoulder straps and rests over your sternum. It is a three pronged male to female design. One of the prongs just snapped off from plastic fatigue (I guess) the load on the strap was moderate to low.I recently purchased an Asus G74sx 17.3" widescreen laptop which is a large beast of a laptop. With the laptop, I initially ordered a Case Logic (17") backpack which is an exceedingly tight fit. This laptop is very thick and long compared to others.
Looking for something larger and thinking the slightly higher pricetag would get me something nicer I ordered the Everki Beacon. I initially thought if it could accommodate the G73, my G74 should fit, right?
Wrong.
Had I read a little deeper into the reviews for this bag, I would have found the initial review warning off potential buyers with G74s.
This backpack *can* carry the G74sx, but not in the padded compartment intended for laptops. The G74sx will fit in the second compartment, but this seems a poor choice, as now you lose the ability to carry much else, and requires the (re)moval of the laptop to get at anything else in the compartment.
All told, this is a great bag, but it will not fit my intended cargo. Sadly, merely unpacking the backpack makes it ineligible for return to Amazon. Fortunately, I could either ebay it or give it to someone I know who has a gaming console they take to parties.I have an ASUS G73JW, a DSLR, Logitech G53 headset, couple of earphones, a Kindle, Sansa, and a bunch of clothes that I carry around with me. After looking around (because I had enough of lugging a duffel bag), I decided to throw in twice the amount of the Targus XL and bought the Everki Beacon.
I was expecting a huge backpack to arrive but not exactly. It's actually a pretty decent average size with generous pocket space for all my electronics.
First thing that strikes you would be, holy crap this thing is really well-made. All my previous laptop backpacks feel flimsy compared to this ruggedness. Definitely well worth the $100 and extra express shipping fees to get it.
If you're still pivoting between to buy or not to buy, just buy it. Well worth every penny.

PalmOne HotSync Serial Cradle (m125, m130, i705, Tungsten & m500 series)
- Quickly synchronizes information in your handheld to your desktop computer
- One-touch HotSync button performs synchronization
- For PC or Macintosh with serial port
- Compatible with Palm m125, m130, i705, and m500 series handhelds
Palm's explanation for a new cradle and a new connector was to give true USB support to the cradle. Let's not forget that we'll have to buy all new accessories to cater to the new "universal connector." The question I ask is "Is it new functionality, or new sales they're after?"
Enough about my rant on the universal connector. Let's get to the cradle itself. It's different that the Palm V cradle (I compare it to the Palm V cradle since the m50x series is just following in the footsteps of that series.). First, it isn't slide in and out, like the old cradle. To take the Palm out, you have to lift up, then pull vertically up. To put it in, you have to put it in vertically, fumble around a bit, then once you hear the Palm beep, you can nestle it back in the cradle.
For people who don't know about the above process, I'm guessing you're going to break your Palm, so be warned.
Once you get the process down, it actually becomes second nature. Granted, I think it's a cumbersome process, but the unit stays in the cradle securely.
One issue that made me knock this cradle down to three stars (and this could be in conjunction with the Palm itself) but sometimes the unit doesn't charge fully in the cradle. You place the Palm in the cradle, the Palm makes the beep, and you think you're charging, right? You take it out th enext morning, go to work, and then you notice that your battery indicator is still int he same position. What's up with that? I've discovered that for the unit to fully charge (and sometimes HotSync correctly), you have to make sure the connection to the cradle is flush.
The product does give USB support, so the cradle does have a functionality. For me, personally, I wish Palm didn't have to give us a new "universal connector" every couple of years...
Buy PalmOne HotSync Serial Cradle (m125, m130, i705, Tungsten & m500 series) Now
I bought this cradle because I have to leave the USB cradle that came with my Palm M515 at the office. I chose a serial cradle for two reasons: all of my USB ports are filled at home and this cradle was significantly cheaper than a USB model.I find that the cradle is quite a bit slower. This would be a problem if I did as many Hotsync operations at home as I do at the office. Since I only sync at home to updat my AvantGo data and to re-charge my Palm, this cradle works fine.
If you need a cradle for a situation similar to mine, don't waste your money on the more expensive USB model unless you're really impatient.

there's a known problem with the USB cradles that they are extra sensitive to Electro Static Discharge. I fries both the cradle and sometimes the handheld (cooked my M515 yesterday for the second time). Look up Palm USB ESD on Google... Palm is going to replace my handheld again. The serial version of this cradle does not have this issue. If you ask Palm about getting a serial cradle back instead of USB they state you have to buy one.Want PalmOne HotSync Serial Cradle (m125, m130, i705, Tungsten & m500 series) Discount?
The cradle is very finicky. The fit is not very tight and I have to press down on the top of the palm pilot to ensure the contacts are touching. Plus, it has it's own power plug AND the USB connection. I'd recommend the USB cable instead. It connects snugly, easily and is only one thing to plug in, plus very reliable long term. Charges fast too. This cradle just fell short all the way around. This little device is the most sold out product in every store in the Silicon Valley. Without it you cannot sync your new Palm to Windows NT.NT is fairly happy with it, aside from the SLOW sync rate which makes sync happy web clippings crawl, but it does its job to the best of its ability.

Retractable Car Charger for LG Incite CT810, Rhythm UX585, VX5500, Lotus LX600, Rhythm AX585, AX155,
- Recharge on the go by harnessing power from your car with a cigarette lighter adapter
- Features an intelligent IC chip that prevents overcharging and overheating
- With its tangle-free wire it is very easy to put away
- The wire is 100% retractable
However, when it comes to this product it has 2 major flaws:
1) the electrical (EM) insulation/power converter must have an issue. When plugging the charger to my phone and at the same time playing music on the car stereo (tried 2 ways: through a jack in my car and an FM transmitter in my wife's car so it's not a car or connection issue), the static was so bad I could not use it. This meant that my goal of being able to use my phone for entertainement purposes while ensuring it won't discharge would not be possible with this charger
2) the second charger would not even retract completely (maybe 10cm left out, 4 inches) after the firs use.I had one of these in my car to charge my LG Lotus for about a year. It worked pretty well, both in charging and retracting the cord. However, the wire is very thin. Although this is convenient and unobtrusive, it presents a certain fragility. The part where the cord secures internally to the plug is not very strong. A handful of times my phone fell off a place where I had it charging on the dashboard, tugging at the end of the charging cord. After the last time, the charger no longer works properly. The connection is sporadic, so I have to fiddle with it to get it charging. But even with the phone showing that it is charging, very little power actually gets into the phone. I suspect that only a thin filament of wire is still making a connection, enough to show charging is taking place but not enough to transfer sufficient power for proper charging. It's basically useless now.
I guess it lasting for about a year for less than $4 invested is not a bad deal (I bought mine off eBay). Still, it's a bit ridiculous that the maker didn't strengthen the cord connection to the plug. The investment would have been about $0.25 worth of extra reinforcement material.I purchased this for under three dollars, so I didn't expect much. The first four months of light use were great, and the retractable cord was a great feature. After about four months, it stopped working. Upon dissecting the charger, I found the fuse had blown. In conclusion, its a cheap product that basically self-destructed, but considering the short lifespan of cell phones it may be worth ordering one or two of these to get you through till your next phone.

8 Digits Desktop Calculator, Solar Powerd.
- 8 digits, single live memory
- Dual power system by automatic selection--solar powered or alkaline battery
- Eye-angled, upright Liquid Crystal Display, tilted for easy viewing
- Spacious keyboard with large, easy-to-use keytops

and they push easily so that it is comfortable and the display is fairly large.
I was curious to see which battery it uses, so I unscrewed the battery cover. It
uses an LR1130 . Then I couldn't put the cover back so I asked a friend to put

Toshiba e740 Pocket PC
- Lightweight, thin Pocket PC with 64 MB RAM and 32 MB ROM and blazing fast 400 MHz XScale processor
- Dual expansion capabilties: built-in CompactFlash and Secure Digital (SD) slots
- 240 x 320 pixel TFT LCD screen displays more than 64,000 colors
- Integrated Wi-Fi capability
- What's in the box: e740, USB cradle, AC adapter, stylus, soft slipcase, quick-start card, warranty card, software
I had a Palm and loved it.
I had a Blackberry and loved it.
I had a Jornada 565 and loved it.
I bought the e740, and well... I hate it.
It was reassuring to read these on-line reviews, because it appears that everyone has the same problems that I do.
The sad thing is, at this point in time, there is no competition for the device. None.
If you want built-in Wifi, 64 megs RAM, and room for extra memory (SD card) AND have a free CF slot for GPS, Modem, etc., this unit delivers.
BUT what terrible design!
It's akin to a prototype that is not ready to be manufactured.
Some examples:
Battery Life One hour of wireless surfing! Terrible. This is a joke. It's so easy to run out of juice, even without wireless.
Speaker Worst of any Pocket PC I've seen.
ActiveSync Drops connections. Very disappointing. I've had more dropped connections in 1 week than in 2 years with my other PocketPCs.
Built-in features Severely lacking. Look at the Jornada.. you could program each button to do different things when they are held down for three seconds, and other such goodies. Not here.
Fragility Really bad. EVERY other PDA nowadays has some form of screen protector. Not this. It's only matter of time before something nasty happens.
Ergonomics Hard to hold. Not very comfortable. What a bizarre design. Awkward.
Speed VERY disappointing. Movies played FLAWLESSLY on my 565. They have TONS of dropped frames on the e740. So much for the 400MHz CPU!
CF Card Seems to be slower than the old Pocket PC's. Also a huge pain to insert. You actually need the stylus!! What's with that?
Record button BEWARE! As a volunteer ambulance tech, I keep this unit on my belt in a case, next to my cell phone. I went to use it midway through my 6 hour shift to write some patient info, and... the battery was DEAD! Reason? That darn record button kept getting hit on my belt. There is no way to disable it. I spoke to Toshiba today.
Software stability None. Seems like I'm always doing a hard reset for one reason or another.
Screen Not as bright as the others, and not uniform. Look closely at night. There is noticeable half-inch vertical striping.
Did I mention the Record button draining the batteries?
So, my bottom line advice to those people looking to buy a PocketPC.......:
If you NEED one now, go for it. However, you WILL be annoyed. You WILL envy your friends who buy one 5 months from now. You WILL agree with me that this is a work-in progress. But, like I said, there is simply no competition when it comes to two card slots and Wi-Fi.
If you already have a working device Please wait!! Please! I HAD to buy this one because I sold my Jornada. So I am pretty much stuck with this annoying Toshiba. But if you have a trusty Palm or Ipaq or Jornada.. W A I T ! Don't run out and but this flawed unit! Wait for "version 2.0"!!
I hope this review was helpful to you.
Buy Toshiba e740 Pocket PC Now
Having owned several PDAs (Sharp OZ-9500, 2 Palm OS Devices, a Cassiopeia A-11 (Windows CE HPC), and a Cassiopeia E-125) I find it difficult to become terribly excited when an new model hits the market. This unit is an exceptionIn a nutshell, the e740 lives up to its claims without a hitch.
Battery life is excellent with the WiFi disabled, and acceptable with it enabled (I haven't complely drained the battery and have ran the 802.11b and the frontlight concurrently for over 2 hours at a time), DHCP works nicely and I have no issues migrating between multiple access points.
Wireless synchronization seems to be quicker than through the USB cradle, and eliminates the need to buy multiple cradles if a WAP is available.
The screen is on par with the iPaq, wonderful outdoors, but is not quite as crisp INDOORS as my Casio E-125. (The E-125's screen is completely unreadable in bright sunlight)
The Windows Terminal Services client is an interesting novelty, but its usefulness is a bit limited due to screen size. It could, however be useful to connect and kill an errant process on an XP box remotely...
The performance is excellent, though it does not appear to be twice as fast as it's StrongARM competitors. Windows Media Player video is far superior on this device than any others, but not quite up to par with the claimed 30FPS from the ATI description of this unit's internal video hardware. (This might simply be that WMP does not support the video accelleration).
The unit seems sturdy, and is primarily metal. The application buttons are embossed, and well placed. The stylus is acceptable, but a bit difficult to remove from its holder. There is no cover on the bottom connector, though the cover on my E-125 is usually open anyhow.
The unit's only weaknesses are mostly superficial annoyances. The IR port is on the lower lefthand side and is easy to cover with your hand. The note/record button on the left hand side is the most serious design flaw, as it extends slightly from the case. I have recorded many worthless audio clips of ambient noise, random conversation, passing busses, etc, simply because of this questionable button placement. The speaker is a bit weak, but this seems true of all PPC 2002 devices, excepting the iPAQs. Also, pressing the thumbwheel no longer brings up the start menu as it did on the E-125 (perhaps a PPC 2002 issue), making it ultimately less useful. Otherwise, I find no real weaknesses.
Software compatibility is acceptable, as this PDA runs nearly everything intended for an iPaq, though some key mappings in games may need changes. Some games, such as Rayman will not run on this device yet due to the new video hardware, however, when games specifically for the new ATI chipset and the XScale processor are released, this will be the ultimate gaming PDA.
Overall, this is a sleek, quick, powerful and well designed device. Though I have typically favored Casio's devices, Toshiba has impressed me. I chose the e740 over the Sharp Zaurus ZX-5500, a tough decision since the idea of Linux and an integrated Keyboard on a PDA is quite appealing. Comparing with a coworker's Zaurus, I believe I made the correct decision.
The upcoming X-Scale iPaq, aside from its new transreflective screen, seems overpriced ($100-$200 more depending on bluetooth integration), clunky (it still has the form factor of the current iPaq 5800s, requiring a sleeve for CF), and still lacks the WiFi. Also consider, no insult intended, Bluetooth is generally useless due to its short range, and has generally flopped in the US market. If you really need it, there is an SDIO card for the Toshiba already available.
If you can justify the price, buy this PDA. If you are still clinging to your PalmOS device, borrow someone's PocketPC and you will realize that Microsoft's Department of Annoyance apparently overlooked the Windows CE/PocketPC world, and in comparison, the PalmOS devices seem like children's toys (even the high end Clie w/camera) -no insult or flaming intended (I loved my Palm III, but times have changed). This PDA outclasses its nearest competiton by a tremendous margin, and with only slight shortcomings has ushered in what seems to be the first in a new era of wireless PDAs.

I have just replaced my iPaq with the e740 and am delighted with it after a week of use. Here are the pro's:1. Easy to set up the WiFi on both my home and school LAN's. Easy to use and great reception (better than my laptop).
2. The dual CF/SD slots are great. I still can't believe I have all that extra memory on such a thin device.
3. So far the battery lasts twice as long as my iPaq. I hope I don't experience some of the issues described by other reviewers.
4. It's the only device on the market that has all of the above and it has delivered on the criteria I used to buy it.
Now for the cons:
1. Record button is in the wrong place for use with a sleeve but I solved that by buying a flip top case since I don't like sleeves anyway.
2. The issue with using a Microdrive at the same time as the WiFi should be better explained. There was a single sheet warning not to use the 340MB microdrive with the device while the WiFi is turned on. I have a 1Gb microdrive so I ignored the warning. Since then the WLAN software has been a bit unstable but I don't know if that was an issue with it already or it was caused by the use of the microdrive while the WLAN was turned on.
3. The screen is not great but I only use it indoors and never read on it for too long at a stretch so I don't really mind compromising in exchange for the other functions.
All in all I am getting exactly what I expected out of this device with a few minor bugs which I hope Toshiba sorts out with the service patch.
Want Toshiba e740 Pocket PC Discount?
I just picked up an e740 and I think it's awesome. I previously had Palm and Handspring and was going to get the new Sony Clie when I saw this thing. Apparently, CompUSA just received 2 of them that same day.The screen is crisp and bright, and the chip is fast. Great features. I have not gotten the WiFi to work as I haven't been in an area with such service but it looked like it works great in the store with the demo model.
The only bad side was that it stopped syncing with Active Sync after a day or so. Tried different things and finally broke down to call Toshia hotline. Great service and a real live person picked up right away. Shocked! Had me back up and going in about 5 minutest. Defintely recommend if you can find one.I read the reviews, thought I'd take a shot. Built-in WIFI was the seller for me.
Got the unit, and despite some of the reviewer's luck in using the wireless, I found it to be flawless. Worked beautifully, good range and good strength compared to my notebook computer.
Battery was the problem, though. It started out like the "good" reviews lasted a while (2 hours only used 25% of it w/o wireless), and with the wireless going, I could surf, remotely control my servers, or do email and messaging for over 2 hours and still have battery time left over.
Then suddenly it would go from full charge to 1% and give me warnings about imminent data loss. I contacted Toshiba Tech support, who made me jump through some hoops I had already jumped through on my own, and they offered to replace the battery. But they're backordered 2-4 weeks *minimum* wait. The battery issue is a *known* issue and isn't a guaranteed fix. There *is* no guaranteed fix for this known issue... So rather than wait to see if the battery fixed the problem, I'm returning the unit before it's too late.
Unit was great, but as long as Toshiba is pushing things out the door that they know are defective, it's going to be tough for them to compete.

SanDisk SDSDB-256-A10 256 MB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package)
- High transfer rate for fast copy/download
- 256 MB storage capacity
- Low battery consumption to maximize battery life in small portable devices
- Operating shock rating of 2,000 Gs, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor
- 5-year warranty
I bought a couple of motion-activated trail cameras and bought several Kingston 256MB SD cards for them. I decided on Kingston based on so many favorable reviews of their SD cards on Amazon. But the cameras were not compatible at all with the Kingston cards. The cameras wouldn't power up in the manner that the user manual said they would, I couldn't access the menu screen, none of the set-up buttons worked, and the LCD screens showed things never discussed in the user manual. Things were just generally screwed up, and I wondered if I had received a defective unit.
I called the camera manufacturer and they said that they also had experienced trouble with certain "offbrand" makes of SD cards, but that they hadn't had any trouble with SanDisk. I had never heard that Kingston was considered an offbrand, but I decided to experiment using another manufacturer's SD card. I inserted a SanDisk SD card, and the camera worked beautifully. Perhaps SanDisk adheres more closely to guidelines for cross-compatibility between digital devices, but that was a lesson for me.
Contrary to the experiences of some, I have never had problems with a SanDisk memory card CF or SD whereas this is the second time I've had problems with a Kingston memory card one time it was a 512MB CF card that suddenly went belly-up after not much use, and now their 256MB SD card was having compatibity issues. I'm sticking with Sandisk or Lexar.
Buy SanDisk SDSDB-256-A10 256 MB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package) Now
If you search around on the Web (e.g., brighthand, pocketpc thoughts...) you'll see that quite a number of users have problems with Sandisk memory cards. They used to be the cheapest, but not any more. For the same price (or even lower), you can get much-better-quality memory cards from Lexar. I highly recommend Lexar for reliability, speed, and lower power consumption.Read Best Reviews of SanDisk SDSDB-256-A10 256 MB Secure Digital Card (Retail Package) Here
I use the one of this size and brand card that was included with my SanDisk cruzer reader. The card is extremely fast, and is extremely reliable. I also noticed that the SanDisk Cruzer worked a lot faster than my digital camera, so it's a good buy for a few extra bucks if you want to get that. There are two reasons many people have had trouble with Sandisk SD cards.
First, the obvious, like any storage device, it must be formatted before use.
The reason SanDisk does not format the card in the factory, is likely due to the fact that it takes longer to manufacture that way. Second is that some items, such as some digital cameras, must reformat cards. There are also the issues of FAT16, FAT32, or VFAT (FAT32 with long filenames, etc.) Most PDAs would want VFAT, but many digital cameras can't handle it, and some even require the older DOS FAT16 format, as it is much easier to handle with small processors.
Additionally the SD card standard is designed that some devices will accept a maximum size, or only a certain size. Many earlier Palm PDAs only supported 64MB, but most newer ones support more.

I have a Kodak DX4330 and atBest quality 3.1MP, this gives me 203 pictures,
Better quality gives me 366 pictures
Good quality gives me 740 pictures
Other cameras due to compression and quality variations will be different.
Just in case the other readers don't know, the MMC and SD card are the same format. The only difference is two things. The SD card is a little thicker (still seems to fit everywhere an MMC card does) and the SD card has an extra. It has a little slider that allows the user to keep from accidentally deleting or changing items on a card. This also keeps you from taking pictures on the card if you forget to switch it back. But then most cameras or other devices should remind you of this.
The SD aspect to this MMC card also allows me to ensure the safety of my untransferred pictures as well. If I'm passing around my camera at a family gathering, first I slide the securing switch to the "lock" position to be sure no pictures can be deleted. Then I can be sure no one can accidentally delete my pictures. Unless others are aware of this feature, they would find it difficult to delete them unless they knew about this.
The only tough thing about doing this, is remembering to slide the switch back off before I take new pictures. But then my Kodak camera would remind me to do this anyway, if I was not in Review.
Great card, excellent value.I bought this card for my KODAK CX6330 3.1MP digital camera. On this camera, at best resolution, I can take 306 pictures and/or 16 minutes of video. After a lot of use, it hasn't failed or gave me any problems. In fact, it's at least 3x faster than the internal memory when taking, deleting and viewing/thumbing through pictures. Video taking is very nice and fast as well, no problems there, it looks great when watched on TV with friends/family. Approximate download times through cable provided with my camera are about 3 minutes for 50megs of data. Mine is manufactured in China. I would recommend it for use in digital cameras. I'm considering buying another card of 256 or 512meg for making longer videos and to have even more shots when on vacation.

Extended Capacity X1111 Li-Ion Replacement Battery for Dell Axim X3, X3i, X30...
- 2000 mAh ULTRA High Capacity, 3.7V, with Longer Runtime
- Li-Ion Rechargeable Internal Battery for Dell Axim X3, X3i, X30
- Made from High Quality Japan Cells
- 100% compatible with original batteries and chargers
It's got a very snug fit, so it took some time to get the thing on. On the other hand, that makes me less worried about it coming off it I were to drop the Axim. Not sure why it's called an X1111 battery, it should be considered a W1359 equivalent. (In other words, it's an alternative to the Dell 1800 MaH extended battery which looks much the same.) The X1111 is the stock 950 MaH battery that's flush with the back of the case. (AKA the smaller Axim battery. :) )
Keep in mind that not all cases may work with the extended battery. The original Dell case is one that does. (And that's probably why they made the sides elastic, to fit their 1800 MaH version.)
Buy Extended Capacity X1111 Li-Ion Replacement Battery for Dell Axim X3, X3i, X30... Now
I'll keep it short and sweet.. It works as advertised and more. I love it, and I just ordered two more so I have a good lead time before needing recharging. The ONLY drawback is that the battery extends from the back of the body so it might not fit some cases, but they are available for it and tell you they will fit the extended battery. My advice is " Try it, you'll like it.Much longer life than the originals that I bought with the device. I was skeptical, but am very pleased. The PDA with the fat battery even still fits in the original leather flip case I got for the X30.

Genus GL GSBK Shoulder Brace System Kit (Black)
- Adjustable for perfect balance
- perfect for DSLR and mini camcorders
- Adds stability to your shots by creating extra body contact
- Easy and quick to assemble
It is solid and well made. When you tighten the thumb screws they stay tight and hold the 15mm rods in position. When using matt boxes or follow focus on the rails it is easy to adjust your camera up or down as needed. Having the twin rails supporting the camera makes it hard for the camera's weight to cause it to roll on you. The hand grip is comfortable. Best of all though is the where the shoulder brace itself makes contact with your shoulder. The rubber cover makes it very comfortable (so much nicer for long stretches than the zacuto alternative), and the narrowness of it makes it so that it can pivot against your body, allowing you to easily adjust the angle from which you are viewing it. (So many other manufacturers have this piece being a couple inches wideredrock for example-, and the versatility goes way down.) This is key for me, since most of my photography and videography is of wildlife and done on a kayak, which means I can't pivot my body as much. In this case it becomes necessary for my camera to pivot, and when I use this brace it can. It is also very handy when standing on dry land, and you want to be able to pivot, without taking a step (and risking bounce).
All in all very well made and very versatile, one of my key pieces of camera equipment that travels with me, no matter where in the world I go (although I will usually only take the parts of it I need depending on the type of shooting I will be doing).I was in the market to find a shoulder rig for my DSLR for steady video , When searching outside of Amazon most of the High end units retail 500-900 dollars . I seen this exact same one on various sites and found it here , new ,for a few hundred cheaper , so I took a chance , Checked the model numbers and took a chance with not having great expectations , To my surprise on arrival , It was exactly what is shown in the picture , It is not some cheap knock off and extremely well made from a form of metal . Extremely satisfied with the quality and price of the item , I highly recommend if it if your a beginner at dslr video and there are many other items to upgrade and build onto this rig .
