It was so hard to find a case that was a hard shell AND a smart cover. This case has both! I bought the Apple cover first, but was disappointed with its quality and higher price. My friend also has this cover and was happy with it, so I decided to try it. The only bad thing about this case it that the snapping mechanism isn't easy to open, so my friend's broke off and I rarely close it fully because of this. However, the case stays closed mostly so it isn't a big deal. Great, sturdy case that is less expensive than others that are less attractive and less functional! Also, this particular seller shipped this item and it was in my hand in a few days!

I bought this for my husband because I bought him a new PDA for Valentine's Day this year. The belt clip broke after about two weeks, however he did not return it because he still found it functional without. Not made too well.

I got one of these. It is bigger than advertised--my Tungsten rattled around inside this case. The stylus fell out easily. Gomadic sent two more cases trying to find one that fit better. I ended up returning all of them since none fit well, so I cannot recommend this particular product (0 stars). However, Gomdadic went overboard trying to make me happy. I recommend them without any hesitation (5 stars).

Other than the size issue, it was a fairly nice case--high quality vinyl or heavily "tanned" leather (not sure which). Workmanship seemed fine.

This case seems well made and like it would do a good job, however IT IS NO LONGER DESIGNED FOR THE TF300. I ordered this case along with screens protectors from this company and received them in a timely manner. However, both the case and screen protectors were clearly labeled "TF700". I emailed customer service and they responded the next business day but they didn't understand what the problem was. After another email to them clarifying that I needed the correct screen protectors AND case sent to me, I was told that:

"The case you've recieved [sic] for the TF700 is in fact the correct case we currently offer for the TF300. Unfortunately, we no longer carry a case specifically for the TF300. The case we offer is compatiable [sic] for both the TF300 and TF700, and will provide the same protection to either case.

As anyone who has compared the TF300 to the TF700 will know, these tablets do NOT have the same dimensions. The 300 is both wider and thicker than the 700. When I replied to "Roxy" and relayed this information I also asked to be contacted by someone else in management of the company in order to get clarification on why this case was being advertised for the wrong device. The reply was that they are happy to give me my money back once I return it and I was never contacted by anyone else.

Just so you know, I tried fitting my TF300 into the case as they claim it will. It doesn't. It can be forced into the side and corner clips, but only with a lot of force. The cover will NOT close flat, and the clasp, if forced to snap shut as it is designed, actually caused enough stress on the plastic body of the tablet to separate it from the screen around the edge!

So if you have a TF700, this might work fine for you, but if you are looking for a TF300 case this isn't it.

You can force an tf300t in the case, kinda defeats the purpose though. I bough this because it said it was for the tf300t if you get it in it looks ok and protects it well.

Looks soooo much nicer than the stupid kind everyone has with elastic straps on the corners. This one snaps perfectly in place, holding the tablet snugly. The fit an finish are very premium. Much more than the generic Chinese cases I've tried. It's worth the couple bucks extra just for the fit and finish. The tabs that hold it in place leave the entire face exposed instead of hiding the bezel like most leather cases. It's nice and lush feeling with a thick, firm, yet yeilding cover that feels great in the hand. The only downside is that it doubles the weight of the tablet, but it's totally worth it.

Well designed, but very, very tight fit on my ASUS 300T...strange, STRONG smell of some type of glue was annoying. IT was hard to close the cover by forcing the snap over the edge of the tablet. So much so that I thought it might damage it. After a while it became easier to close. At first you may have to push the edge of the cover from the opposite edge toward the snap to make it go over the tablet edge. Functions as advertised, but the 2 "odd" points reduced what would have been a 5 star rating.

Amazon asked me to review this even though I doubt anyone will read it since the item is made for products that became extinct back in the Jurassic era slides and photo negatives. This was for my 12-year-old scanner. I have a new scanner (which is also a fax, printer, copier) and they don't even make an adapter for slides and negatives, so I was pleased when I found a replacement for my broken Scanner Transparency Adapter. Turns out it wasn't broken, I was just using it wrong, although not in a way that is documented, so now I have two. At fifteen bucks I wasn't going to waste time and postage returning it and the 3rd party did such a good job of sending it, I would have felt bad taking advantage of the 30-day return policy since it was my error. Anyway this is the way to go if you have old slides or negatives and want to digitize them.

Purchased a Jornada 728 several weeks ago, this is my second PDA. I am very pleased with its quality and functionality. It does not replace a laptop but it is sure handy for checking mail, news, web sites, and does an amazing job with MP3 audio.

My system includes a 128 compact flash card (installs into the bottom of the 728) and a Socket low power 802.11b wireless network card which installs into the PC Card slot by using a PC Card/Compact Flash adapter .... The CF wireless network card will not work in the CF compartment on the bottom on the 728 because when inserted you cannot close the lid covering & securing the CF device. The CF compartment on the bottom will only accept CF devices the size of memory cards.

Even with the 802.11b card running I have yet to exhaust the battery. After 4 hours of computing it indicated ½ charge remaining. Overall I am very pleased with the unit. I mostly use the PDA pointer for navigating web sites, but when needed the key board works pretty good (takes a little practice getting used to but you do use both hands the same as a normal keyboard).

Instead of the Pocket PC 2002 operating system used by the newer 1/4 screen PDA's the 728 runs the Handheld PC 2000 Operating System (H/PC 2000). The H/PC operating system is not receiving the software support enjoyed by PPC 2002 devices. Consequently I had to purchase 3rd party MSN Messenger software ... and an NNTP news reader .... Also, there is no e-book reader available for it from Microsoft. The only other negative from my experience is it will not support streaming media from the Internet and no Real Audio player. I cannot listen to Internet Radio (not Windows Media or Real Audio). Lastly, I can't seem to get the VPN client to function correctly.

On the plus side, the 1/2 VGA screen is very usable and I have had great success using it to surf Internet and for web based mail (both Exchange and Groupwise). It also handles SSL. The 728's big plus is it usability, very usable screen and keyboard, and very portable (I do carry it often in my pocket). Battery life is excellent and the Terminal Services client works 100%. The audio quality with MP3 is VERY impressive (using headphones) and for what it lacked in shipped software, I was able to find 3 rd party (minus some way to steam medial). It also does a good job as a network client. I am able to connect to Windows 2000 servers and transfer files the same as from a desktop.

It does not have the functionality or software support of a laptop, but it is the next best thing!

This is a big unit by Palm type standards. It's a no-nonsense handhelp that uses H/PC 2000 which, in my opinion, needs to be updated. However, I use it primarily for business use, and for that this is perfect. I added a 128 mb Flash card and have plenty of room for everything I need. There is not a lot of software that you can get for this OS compared to Pocket PC 2002, but it does have a good assortment for the typical business user. I enjoy the screen size and keyboard. The 728 performs well in sunlight and in a dim room.

I bought the HP expandable case which is a very nice accesory that allows room to add business cards, notes, and a pen. The size in the case is about the size of a large woman's wallette and weighs over 1 pound. If you don't mind that, then this is the clam shell PC for you.

I bought this to replace my older Jornada 680e since it has a faster processor and an updated operating system (although it is almost a decade old). It does everything the older Jornada 680e does, and it can play MP3 music too. The sound is teeny and has too much treble. If I was going to use it to take notes only, I would give it a 5 star for the battery life and instant on operating system. But since I bought it to do other things besides taking notes, it does not do them too well. Remember that the keyboard is very small; so if you have big or fat fingers, you will not be able to touch type on this unit. But if you have small hands, you can type as fast as a full size keyboard, a big plus.

Hewlett Packard gets closer and closer to the perfect clam-shell, handheld PDA. This sleek little number is certainly better than the competition, but it still lacks a key feature or two. I need to be honest and say that I don't own one, so the accuracy of my review is not complete. However if I am going to spend the money on a PDA, it better have everything I will need and desire. The two features that this PDA lacks are built-in Bluetooth, Wi-fi or Cellular components. Bluetooth is a technology that lets electronic devices such as PDAs, Cell phones and printers communicate with each other. With Bluetooth you could sync all or some of your phone numbers on your PDA with your Cellphone. You could wirelessly send a document to a printer. The applications are numerous and Bluetooth items are starting to come out now. Wi-fi is also a wireless technology, but is more geared to creating a network. Witb Wi-fi you could swap files between your PDA and your network, Send emails through your network server, and use your networks internet connection. You could do all of this with none of the, "which cable does this one use?", nightmare. For the asking price of $1K, I think HP could throw in a cellular card.

That being said, all the normal software looks like it works like a dream. Microsoft has finally come out with both a descent operating software and pocket version of Office. HP throws in a pocket version of Quicken. If you are tired of rage-invoking PDA styluses, try the keyboard on the 728. Only a little smaller than a traditional keyboard, and very good tactile response.

I think it works great! With a comfortable hold and lightweight, it has made it much easier for typing and making selections. The only issue I have found is dragging the screen when I'm on a website in "Desktop" or "Full site" mode instead of mobile. It reacts not by dragging, but by reducing or enlarging screen, so I took one star off for that.

When my original charger died on me I found this for a reasonable price. Even though it charged my phone to full battery in a short time, it only lasted for a good six months. I ended up finding a another charger for less than a dollar on here that has lasted me an entire year and still works. If you are looking for a charger to last you for a long time I would not recommend this product.

Nokia 2610 Leather Fitted Carrying Case

I bought this case as a Christmas present for my dad. The case is amazing. It's snug with soft lining to protect the actual phone, and it's easy to use through the plastic, which was clean and very clear. But he's just had it for about one month and the clip has already broken. I can't say for sure if he yanked at it(he might be lying to get out of trouble), but he had his last belt clip for a few years, so I doubt it was him.

So, I guess I'm on the search for a replacement clip, but I don't want a new case. The case itself it nice.

I really like this case. It is well constructed and doesn't add much to the overall weight of the both device and case. I love the hand strap because it makes holding these devices easier especially if you have any kind of joint pain. Personally I like to hold my devices for the most part rather than propping them on a stand or pillow etc. As I have stated before in other reviews I also like the second strap that Marware puts on their cases to hold the cover back in place when you are reading. Yes it can be fixed with a small piece of velcro but I prefer the second strap.

One thing to note as with most of these cases you do have to let them air out a bit. The smell on these isn't as bad as some but it is noticeable.

Fits great and makes it easier to use. Like to be able to set it up straight and read! Awesome!

Very nice leather case, and it keeps the length and width of my nook HD, small enough to fit in my purse. Looks great with the white model. Easy to hold with the back strap, and pretty lightweight. I do agree with prior reviewer that it would be nice to have a way to secure the covers together by either a magnet or additional strap. Not enough of a reason to take away a star though.
