BoxWave Garmin Nuvi 265WT ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack)

BoxWave Garmin Nuvi 265WT ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector
  • Winner of Handheld Computing's Top Award!
  • Super clear and packed with numerous features
  • Anti-Glare, Dust Repelling, Fingerprint Free, and Improves Handwriting Recognition
  • Washable and Reusable, ClearTouch Anti-Glare protects your Garmin Nuvi 265WT's sensitive touchscreen against Scratches

This product does what it promises protects your screen.

That said, two cons I'd warn anyone thinking buying this to consider:

-The anti-glare protector polarizes light, if you wear polarized sunglasses (which is a common scenario when driving in sunlight), it will cause serious color distortions making your lcd display harder to read.

-The product is made with VERY tight tolerances to the wide screen's dimensions. I had a devil of a time getting the last corner seated onto the GPS. This has practical implicationsif there is a rise/gap in your screen, you have to push harder on the touchscreen(bottom in particular mis-reads my presses often now). Had I known this, I'd likely have trimmed a millimeter off side & bottom edges to allow a safe gap so it could sink more flush.

Buy BoxWave Garmin Nuvi 265WT ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) Now

Yes this screen protector fits onto the Nuvi. I'm nutty about straightness and neatness when it comes to things like this. It's not an "exact" fit and that bothered me. Also, in putting the protector on the screen, dust adhered to the sticky side. Now you have air bubbles that detracts from the look. I threw mine away immediately.

MONACO BLACK ALUMINUM CASE BELT CLIP FOR MOTOROLA Q9H (EXTENDED BATTERY VERSION)

MONACO BLACK ALUMINUM CASE BELT CLIP FOR MOTOROLA Q9HAs a contractor, I was always dropping and/or damaging my phone. I can't spend hundreds

or even thousands a year on new phones. So, I bought a Motorola Q9H extended back for a

handful of dollars. It's as big as a Chrysler from the '70s. I had trouble finding a case/clip for

this phone. The MONACO BLACK ALUMINUM CASE fits like a glove. Easy access to all

buttons, camera/flash, ports/slots/charger. Padded inside. Phone has a snug fit. The case

is a bit clunky, though, but I don't see how to make it any better. I've dropped my phone off a

roof onto gravel. I've dropped my phone several times from 5 feet onto pavement. I've even

taken the clip off the back of the case, and kicked/slid/shoved my phone across a concrete

floor many times. The case is starting to look a little worn, but it still works, but more importantly

my phone is in great shape. The belt clip holds tight. Disengaging the case from the clip while

wearing the unit is a little clumsy, but not hard to do.

Charging Gomadic Retractable USB Data Cable for the Sony Walkman NWZ-A818 -Provides both charge and data sync services
  • Cable tip, wiring and power configuration is designed to the Sony Walkman NWZ-A818 specification. Supports USB 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 transfer standards.
  • Ultra compact and spring loaded retractable mechanism will expand to 38" in total cable length and then retract back into a 2 inch case which will fit neatly in a shirt pocket.
  • Integrated TipExchange Technology provides an upgradeable path by simply exchanging the physical connector plug. Specific connection for the Sony Walkman NWZ-A818 is included with additional connectors sold separately.
  • Custom designed for dual sync and charge services of the Sony Walkman NWZ-A818. Simply plug in to the standard USB data port of any PC (e.g. laptop, netbook, desktop, etc.).
  • Cable expands from 2 to 34 inches in seconds (and everything in between). Simply press the integrated retraction button, and the cable effortlessly rolls back into the casing.

I misplaced the usb cable for my nwz-a818, and went searching for a repalcement. Found these with the interchangeable tips, and decided to give them a shot. When I got the cable, the computer and walkman would detect each other and the walkman would begin charging, but I couldn't load any files onto the walkman or delete any off. Annoying.

So I emailed gomadic's cusotmer service and they got back to me in about 30 minutes to make sure I had the right tip. I did, so they sent me a new cable and tip. It came in a day and a half, and worked perfectly! Now it charges and syncs no problem. Highly recommended.

Bundle Monster Nintendo Ndsi Dsi Nds Ds i Vinyl Game Skin Case Art Decal Cover Sticker Protector Acc

Bundle Monster Nintendo Ndsi Dsi Nds Ds i Vinyl Game Skin Case Art Decal Cover Sticker Protector Accessories - Yellow Floral
  • Prevent abrasions & scratching. Highly durable, dustproof & waterproof.
  • Skins are made up of ultra thin and superb vinyl material that is environmental friendly. These are NOT hard case or faceplate.
  • Fits well into most accessories and case & no sticky residue upon removal. Will not interfere access to buttons and slots.
  • This skin set will cover the outer and inner surfaces as pictured.
  • Skin set is for Nintendo DSi only. Installation is very simple. Self explanatory.

Product looks exactly as it does in the picture. The colors are very bright and the design is nice. Kinda reminds me of Okami :P Anyways, its not an actual case. Just gotta make that clear. Basically it's just a heavy duty sticker. So just make sure that's what you were looking for and not an actual hard case because it does say "Skin Case" that might confuse some.

There's only one 'bad' thing I have to say about it. It overhangs on the lid. So instead of folding under the sticker bends on the swivel and covers the game cartridge when you open it all the way. Not sure how I can explain it, but it wasn't really a big issue. I just ended up trimming it off with scissors but it still looks fine so that's cool with me. I give it a four because it wasn't a perfect fit but it still looks good and I like it.

2.4G RF Wireless iPazzPort Handheld Keyboard Touchpad with Smart TV/PC Remote

2.4G RF Wireless iPazzPort Handheld Keyboard Touchpad with Smart TV/PC RemotePlug and play keyboard works great on my samsung smart HDTV. Comes with usb extender. Plugged into the tv usb port and placed the "dongle" where the IR would hit it. TV menu screen popup recognized the keyboard. Compact, easy to use, touchpad is nice. Works great to navigate Smart TV, browser, apps like Pandora. Much better than the PITA on screen qwerty. For a few extra bucks, you would think samsung would include an accessory such as this.

2.4G RF Wireless iPazzPort Handheld Keyboard Touchpad with Smart TV/PC Remote(Ships from CA)

-iPazzPort 2.4GHz Mini Wireless Fly Air Mouse Keyboard with IR Remote

It is just what you would expect from 16$. Works alright but completely bad build quality. And this thing goes to sleep if you don't use it for 10 minutes, you need to turn it off and turn it back on. Weak;especially because the size means it is going to be mostly used for htpc, where you are not constantly typing.

Buy 2.4G RF Wireless iPazzPort Handheld Keyboard Touchpad with Smart TV/PC Remote Now

Sporadically communicates, times out frequently, touchpad inconsistent. Don't bother wasting your money on this keyboard. I'm an avid Amazon shopper and use reviews extensively so I had to speak up this time.

Worked fine ... for 15 minutes, then died. No amount of fiddling with it would revive it. Tried it on two Vista machines and one windows 7: Dead on all three. Tossed it into our recycling chute. RIP. Junk, pure and simple. Don't waste your money.

Want 2.4G RF Wireless iPazzPort Handheld Keyboard Touchpad with Smart TV/PC Remote Discount?

The response time on this is horrible. I am constantly turning it on and off to get it to work. It also has a very limited range. I probably would've been better off going with a more expensive keyboard that would hold up.

Toshiba e740 Pocket PC

Toshiba e740 Pocket PC
  • Lightweight, thin Pocket PC with 64 MB RAM and 32 MB ROM and blazing fast 400 MHz XScale processor
  • Dual expansion capabilties: built-in CompactFlash and Secure Digital (SD) slots
  • 240 x 320 pixel TFT LCD screen displays more than 64,000 colors
  • Integrated Wi-Fi capability
  • What's in the box: e740, USB cradle, AC adapter, stylus, soft slipcase, quick-start card, warranty card, software

I used to own a Casio BOSS and loved it.

I had a Palm and loved it.

I had a Blackberry and loved it.

I had a Jornada 565 and loved it.

I bought the e740, and well... I hate it.

It was reassuring to read these on-line reviews, because it appears that everyone has the same problems that I do.

The sad thing is, at this point in time, there is no competition for the device. None.

If you want built-in Wifi, 64 megs RAM, and room for extra memory (SD card) AND have a free CF slot for GPS, Modem, etc., this unit delivers.

BUT what terrible design!

It's akin to a prototype that is not ready to be manufactured.

Some examples:

Battery Life One hour of wireless surfing! Terrible. This is a joke. It's so easy to run out of juice, even without wireless.

Speaker Worst of any Pocket PC I've seen.

ActiveSync Drops connections. Very disappointing. I've had more dropped connections in 1 week than in 2 years with my other PocketPCs.

Built-in features Severely lacking. Look at the Jornada.. you could program each button to do different things when they are held down for three seconds, and other such goodies. Not here.

Fragility Really bad. EVERY other PDA nowadays has some form of screen protector. Not this. It's only matter of time before something nasty happens.

Ergonomics Hard to hold. Not very comfortable. What a bizarre design. Awkward.

Speed VERY disappointing. Movies played FLAWLESSLY on my 565. They have TONS of dropped frames on the e740. So much for the 400MHz CPU!

CF Card Seems to be slower than the old Pocket PC's. Also a huge pain to insert. You actually need the stylus!! What's with that?

Record button BEWARE! As a volunteer ambulance tech, I keep this unit on my belt in a case, next to my cell phone. I went to use it midway through my 6 hour shift to write some patient info, and... the battery was DEAD! Reason? That darn record button kept getting hit on my belt. There is no way to disable it. I spoke to Toshiba today.

Software stability None. Seems like I'm always doing a hard reset for one reason or another.

Screen Not as bright as the others, and not uniform. Look closely at night. There is noticeable half-inch vertical striping.

Did I mention the Record button draining the batteries?

So, my bottom line advice to those people looking to buy a PocketPC.......:

If you NEED one now, go for it. However, you WILL be annoyed. You WILL envy your friends who buy one 5 months from now. You WILL agree with me that this is a work-in progress. But, like I said, there is simply no competition when it comes to two card slots and Wi-Fi.

If you already have a working device Please wait!! Please! I HAD to buy this one because I sold my Jornada. So I am pretty much stuck with this annoying Toshiba. But if you have a trusty Palm or Ipaq or Jornada.. W A I T ! Don't run out and but this flawed unit! Wait for "version 2.0"!!

I hope this review was helpful to you.

Buy Toshiba e740 Pocket PC Now

Having owned several PDAs (Sharp OZ-9500, 2 Palm OS Devices, a Cassiopeia A-11 (Windows CE HPC), and a Cassiopeia E-125) I find it difficult to become terribly excited when an new model hits the market. This unit is an exception

In a nutshell, the e740 lives up to its claims without a hitch.

Battery life is excellent with the WiFi disabled, and acceptable with it enabled (I haven't complely drained the battery and have ran the 802.11b and the frontlight concurrently for over 2 hours at a time), DHCP works nicely and I have no issues migrating between multiple access points.

Wireless synchronization seems to be quicker than through the USB cradle, and eliminates the need to buy multiple cradles if a WAP is available.

The screen is on par with the iPaq, wonderful outdoors, but is not quite as crisp INDOORS as my Casio E-125. (The E-125's screen is completely unreadable in bright sunlight)

The Windows Terminal Services client is an interesting novelty, but its usefulness is a bit limited due to screen size. It could, however be useful to connect and kill an errant process on an XP box remotely...

The performance is excellent, though it does not appear to be twice as fast as it's StrongARM competitors. Windows Media Player video is far superior on this device than any others, but not quite up to par with the claimed 30FPS from the ATI description of this unit's internal video hardware. (This might simply be that WMP does not support the video accelleration).

The unit seems sturdy, and is primarily metal. The application buttons are embossed, and well placed. The stylus is acceptable, but a bit difficult to remove from its holder. There is no cover on the bottom connector, though the cover on my E-125 is usually open anyhow.

The unit's only weaknesses are mostly superficial annoyances. The IR port is on the lower lefthand side and is easy to cover with your hand. The note/record button on the left hand side is the most serious design flaw, as it extends slightly from the case. I have recorded many worthless audio clips of ambient noise, random conversation, passing busses, etc, simply because of this questionable button placement. The speaker is a bit weak, but this seems true of all PPC 2002 devices, excepting the iPAQs. Also, pressing the thumbwheel no longer brings up the start menu as it did on the E-125 (perhaps a PPC 2002 issue), making it ultimately less useful. Otherwise, I find no real weaknesses.

Software compatibility is acceptable, as this PDA runs nearly everything intended for an iPaq, though some key mappings in games may need changes. Some games, such as Rayman will not run on this device yet due to the new video hardware, however, when games specifically for the new ATI chipset and the XScale processor are released, this will be the ultimate gaming PDA.

Overall, this is a sleek, quick, powerful and well designed device. Though I have typically favored Casio's devices, Toshiba has impressed me. I chose the e740 over the Sharp Zaurus ZX-5500, a tough decision since the idea of Linux and an integrated Keyboard on a PDA is quite appealing. Comparing with a coworker's Zaurus, I believe I made the correct decision.

The upcoming X-Scale iPaq, aside from its new transreflective screen, seems overpriced ($100-$200 more depending on bluetooth integration), clunky (it still has the form factor of the current iPaq 5800s, requiring a sleeve for CF), and still lacks the WiFi. Also consider, no insult intended, Bluetooth is generally useless due to its short range, and has generally flopped in the US market. If you really need it, there is an SDIO card for the Toshiba already available.

If you can justify the price, buy this PDA. If you are still clinging to your PalmOS device, borrow someone's PocketPC and you will realize that Microsoft's Department of Annoyance apparently overlooked the Windows CE/PocketPC world, and in comparison, the PalmOS devices seem like children's toys (even the high end Clie w/camera) -no insult or flaming intended (I loved my Palm III, but times have changed). This PDA outclasses its nearest competiton by a tremendous margin, and with only slight shortcomings has ushered in what seems to be the first in a new era of wireless PDAs.

I have just replaced my iPaq with the e740 and am delighted with it after a week of use. Here are the pro's:

1. Easy to set up the WiFi on both my home and school LAN's. Easy to use and great reception (better than my laptop).

2. The dual CF/SD slots are great. I still can't believe I have all that extra memory on such a thin device.

3. So far the battery lasts twice as long as my iPaq. I hope I don't experience some of the issues described by other reviewers.

4. It's the only device on the market that has all of the above and it has delivered on the criteria I used to buy it.

Now for the cons:

1. Record button is in the wrong place for use with a sleeve but I solved that by buying a flip top case since I don't like sleeves anyway.

2. The issue with using a Microdrive at the same time as the WiFi should be better explained. There was a single sheet warning not to use the 340MB microdrive with the device while the WiFi is turned on. I have a 1Gb microdrive so I ignored the warning. Since then the WLAN software has been a bit unstable but I don't know if that was an issue with it already or it was caused by the use of the microdrive while the WLAN was turned on.

3. The screen is not great but I only use it indoors and never read on it for too long at a stretch so I don't really mind compromising in exchange for the other functions.

All in all I am getting exactly what I expected out of this device with a few minor bugs which I hope Toshiba sorts out with the service patch.

I just picked up an e740 and I think it's awesome. I previously had Palm and Handspring and was going to get the new Sony Clie when I saw this thing. Apparently, CompUSA just received 2 of them that same day.

The screen is crisp and bright, and the chip is fast. Great features. I have not gotten the WiFi to work as I haven't been in an area with such service but it looked like it works great in the store with the demo model.

The only bad side was that it stopped syncing with Active Sync after a day or so. Tried different things and finally broke down to call Toshia hotline. Great service and a real live person picked up right away. Shocked! Had me back up and going in about 5 minutest. Defintely recommend if you can find one.

I read the reviews, thought I'd take a shot. Built-in WIFI was the seller for me.

Got the unit, and despite some of the reviewer's luck in using the wireless, I found it to be flawless. Worked beautifully, good range and good strength compared to my notebook computer.

Battery was the problem, though. It started out like the "good" reviews lasted a while (2 hours only used 25% of it w/o wireless), and with the wireless going, I could surf, remotely control my servers, or do email and messaging for over 2 hours and still have battery time left over.

Then suddenly it would go from full charge to 1% and give me warnings about imminent data loss. I contacted Toshiba Tech support, who made me jump through some hoops I had already jumped through on my own, and they offered to replace the battery. But they're backordered 2-4 weeks *minimum* wait. The battery issue is a *known* issue and isn't a guaranteed fix. There *is* no guaranteed fix for this known issue... So rather than wait to see if the battery fixed the problem, I'm returning the unit before it's too late.

Unit was great, but as long as Toshiba is pushing things out the door that they know are defective, it's going to be tough for them to compete.

I love this case. It is sturdy, provides a good grip on my phone and lets me rest easy since I am so rough on phones.

I expected that the plastic over the touch screen would cause it to be more difficult to use my touch screen, but that is absolutely NOT the case. The screen protects without decreasing the sensitivity of the screen.

The case is difficult to get off the phone, but I think that goes more in the pro column.

I really can't see me using the belt clip. It makes the phone feel huge. Also getting it in and out of the clip is frustrating.

I would recommend the Otterbox Defender to anyone needing a heavy duty case.

CTA Digital Keyed Cable Lock with Stand for iPad (PAD-LOCK)

CTA Digital Keyed Cable Lock with Stand for iPad
  • Security cable and frame let you safely lock your iPad anywhere
  • Steel core security cable with T lock and fastening loop
  • Silicone padding protects from bumps, dings or scratches
  • Optional stand included with easy 360° rotation
  • Adjustable stand allows for optimal viewing in portrait, landscape or keyboard orientations
  • Easily attach to headrest with strap for car use
  • Frame provides wrist friendly 15° tilt angle without additional stand

I wanted a way to secure my iPad while traveling. The CTA Cable Lock with Stand is a great solution. The frame slides over the corners of the iPad (including my smartcover and back snap shield). Wrap the cable around a secure object (table, chair, etc.) and insert the lock into the back of the frame. Works just like a laptop cable lock. Now I feel better about leaving it in the hotel room. I wasn't really interested in the stand that was included. The frame slides onto the stand which will pivot. Nice idea, but the plastic seems too light to support the iPad safely, too top-heavy. The frame itself is a little bulky, but lightweight. Overall it's an easy solution to protect a big investment!

Samsung Galaxy NoteII 2 Leather Case - Premium Slim Book Stand Type - GT-N7100 (Black Red Stitchings

Samsung Galaxy NoteII 2 Leather Case - Premium Slim Book Stand Type - GT-N7100 by PdairGreat product! Good quality, nice looking. Besides protection, it gives a new elegance to Samsung Note II. The only reason I would not give it five stars is because it has something overlooked in the design:

The areas against the ear peace and against the home button should be cleared the same way the areas against the camera and speakerphone were cleared. The reason: The user could answer a phone call and and speak without ever opening the front cover, simply by pressing the home key. The area at the power button is already cleared, so the user can end the call by pressing the power button.

BTW, no other design has taken care of thislittle isue either.

3-in-1 Mini Bluetooth Keyboard for Apple iPad Nokia Symbian S60 Phones Sony PS3 Players (Keyboard, T

3-in-1 Mini Bluetooth Keyboard for Apple iPad Nokia Symbian S60 Phones Sony PS3 PlayersThe device worked fine for my Windows 7 Laptop, unfortunately, I bought it to use on my Sprint Galaxy Tablet. The box and the RiiTek website both say it works with Android, but every Android device I tried it on, it would not work... and that was after having to go to the website to find a driver that to this day requires authentication off the internet that fails to run no matter how good your internet connection is.

Best to leave this one alone if you are looking for a good Android Bluetooth Keyboard. I will be returning mine shortly.

There are two versions of this product. I made sure I bought the one that is bluetooth, the other works via a wireless frequency (and is generally less costly in price) but doesn't use the bluetooth protocols. I was able to connect this to my iMac (not using the included fob) in less than a minute. The keys are responsive and after some mouse sensitivity adjustments on the iMac, the track pad works well too.

I expected some limitations since the keyboard is a very compact layout; The most important limitation to note is that the "windows" key stroke is done via the Fn-Ctrl key stroke, which makes it impossible if you need to use key stroke combinations with the windows key, such as windows-M to minimize all windows (or Apple-Q to quit programs on Macs as the windows key is usually mapped to apple key on macs). You can almost get used to the keyboard enough to type without looking. The keys are raised enough to distinguish between them by touch, mouse buttons and arrow pad are distinctly different by touch from the keyboard. Enter and Fn key is two-key width and Space bar is three-key width; easy to distiguish by touch. The only thing that trips me up is the Enter key, on a normal keyboard it's located on the row with L, but in this compact layout it's located in the row with M. The arrow pad is in a great location right under the track pad, makes navigating around easy. While the left mouse button is right under the left side of the track pad, click-dragging is a bit awkward. It makes me wish they placed an additonal left mouse button where the Fn key is.

I do not use this frequently, it's connected to a computer in my kitchen that is usually just showing eyeTV. I wanted a tiny keyboard that I can just velcro to the back of the iMac; this product fills the niche well. whenever I need to jump onto a web browser and look up something quickly it's nice to be able to do this without taking out some bulky keyboard and mouse and needing a table to place it on. It comes with a laser pointer for presentations, I use it to play with the cat.

I usually leave it on and plugged into the USB cable that comes with it to keep it fully charged. Sometimes I leave it unplugged but have never left it unplugged for more than a day, so I've never had the device lose battery power yet. The box says standby time is 500-700 hours, I haven't confirmed this. I have left it unplugged for multiple days but turned it off on those occasions. Turning it back on (or picking it up after not using it for a while) requires the bluetooth to resync (takes a few seconds), but so far I've never had to go through the pairing process after the first.

The product is very well packaged, came with a well-written and illustrated user's manual and driver mini-CD. I used neither pairing it with my iMac. Dimensions: 151x59x12.5mm / 6"x2.4"x0.5" Weight: 104g. Feels solid in my hand. As far as dropping durability, I wouldn't be as careless as I would with a TV remote. I haven't dropped my Rii mini wireless keyboard yet. The keyboard is backlit, which is activated via Fn-F1 keystroke, not too hard to remember and feel for those times you need to turn on backlighting in a dark room. I haven't tested the limits of the wireless range, but it works flawlessly in my range of usage of 1-8 feet.

This keyboard has some great features. It was a bit of a pain to get paired with my Droid Bionic. The instructions were misleading. If you're the type who never reads the directions, you'll have better luck getting it paired without difficulty. (For those who are curious, you don't install the software that came on the CD for new phones.). Overall, I really like the device and would recommend it for use with Webtop or HTPC on your Droid devices. I find the trackpad to be very useful, however the placement of the mouse buttons makes it a tiny bit awkward to use when dragging and dropping. I personally prefer the candybar style of this device over the Logitech DiNova Mini and the Lenovo Mini. No complaints so far (other than the worthless instructions). Although it would be nice to have a battery charge indicator, I have charged mine enough to use in less than 15 minutes or so.

I connect my laptop to my TV in the bedroom. this is an amazin toy if you dont wanna type too much. I dont need too get up and touch anything. the price is very good. I didnt see the USB adapter at first so I had to buy it alone for $44 from best buy. (until I found the one attach to the keyboard and returned the one that I got from best buy).

I didnt use it for any other device, so I dont know if it's compatible or not! but there is a CD included in the box that has a folder for Android/Windows phone/iPhone.

I recommend this product

rooCASE Neoprene Netbook Sleeve Case Cover for Lenovo 10.1-Inch Ideapad S10-3t 0651-85U Netbook Tabl

rooCASE Neoprene Netbook Sleeve Case Cover for Lenovo 10.1-Inch Ideapad S10-3t 0651-85U Netbook TabletI just bought this because it said it was the right size for my tablet...

It's not. It's an inch too big.

Once again, not worth the time and cost to send it back.

And I really needed a tablet case.

Got the Case in orange. Received timely and no issue there. Functions as stated. I like all the storage pockets for chargers, cables, stylus pens, etc. I ordered a "new" case but when I received it, there is a black dot on the top portion right in front center above first pocket. Almost like a marker was just touched at the point. The gray trim looks dirty in a couple of spots also, like it's been handled by dirty hands. I was going to exchange for another but supplier won't exchange..only return and reorder. To much hassel. I figure it won't stay pristeen forever so i took and cleaned myself best I could. Not much improvement. Function and design is great, just disappointed someone else got it dirty instead of me before I even got to take it out of the box!

I love this little case. Perfect size and color. Being that it is neoprene it is stretchy and there are a couple of pockets inside the case for jump drives or sd cards.

A word of warning. The picture shown is not the PRO model.

The pro model is mac compatible. This picture shows the base model which is NOT Mac compatible.

Seeing the base model in action daily, my friend who sits next to me in a class, I am amazed by the speed, accuracy, reliability of this little device.

He uses it to scan chinese text from books and syllabus.

It is incredibly fast. The accuracy increases if your hand scans in a normal slower speed.

but if you are in a hurry, the text can come out as gibberish and take a while to review.

If you are student who needs to write a lot of book reports or do a lot of research in the library, this is a MUST have tool.

I want to buy the Mac compatible model (since I am not sure if this one listed is Mac compatible) and will add more review once I get one.

Top recommendations!!!

Sent receipt and mail-in rebate inside the allotted time however was told that they never received it and its out of their hands. They also said I should understand that I need to send things in timely manner and if I want I can check my status again at their website. I have no avenue other then to post poor review here.

Device works ok. Main purpose was to scan Chinese, Korean, and Japanese characters (from business receipts) into Google translate. This works okay but does require many do over's to catch the characters.

The one I got didn't work and looked like it had been repackaged, guess it didn't work for the last guy either. Bought a different brand that works, but don't have it handy right now. don't waste your time unless they fix the software...

This is my second hand scanner. I had a CapSoft in the past, but it is finicky, and does not operate presently.

I acquired the device to scan documents from Court and other places where people are not standing by to make copies at a reasonable cost.

I works well with enough resolution to convert to to good readable documents.

I have one difficulty with the product. The JPEG output (the only output available) does not appear fully compliant and cannot be read by Acrobat (Acrobat reports the file is damaged). The workaround of using another reader and writing to the Adobe printer works OK.

I would buy another one, the price is great.

I was so excited to receive this scanner, but was quickly disappointed by its inferior scans. Color photos that I scanned came out much darker than the originals, turning people's faces to dark red. The color of black and white photos looked okay, but the vertical length of all photos whether color or B&W was distorted, squashing the image so it looks short and squatty compared to the original. I tried scanning at different speeds but it made no difference. When I scanned old newspaper articles on family history that I wanted to preserve, it made the letters of words jump up and down, creating wavy lines of text. I also think the LCD screen is a joke. It is so tiny (about 1 inch wide) that it is impossible to see what kind of results you are getting while you scan or after you scan. The only way to really know how your scan came out is to upload it to your computer and view it at normal size. This scanner might be okay for quick and dirty scanning at the library or for your receipts, where quality is not important, but for precious family photos and stories, don't waste your money.

I needed an easy-to-use, portable scanner for receipts and expenses. This works perfectly. I can take it with me on business trips or use at home, and it transfers clearly and efficiently onto my computer. Now I don't have to keep all those paper receipts around. I highly recommend it!
