OrientEX(TM) Rii Touch N7 2.4G Hz Mini Wireless Full Qwerty Keyboard For PC, HTPC, Apple, Xbox360, W
(1) actually works, fairly reliably;
(2) there are very few alternatives for a similar device;
(3) hasslefree setup;
(4) small size and overall excellent form factor;
(5) very good distance range for home use;
(6) backlit;
(7) virtual vertical scrollbar; and
(8) reasonable price.
CONS:
(1) ERRATIC SLEEP AND WAKE-UP BEHAVIOR. The biggest issue I experienced is its erratic behavior of going into a sleep mode and waking up.
First of all, the unit goes to sleep too frequently (probably only after 2 min. of no use). Should be kept awake for at least 10 min. and preferably 30 min. before goes to sleep, but I'm not sure how much impact doing that would have on the battery life.
Once the unit goes into sleep, there isn't a consistent way to wake it up. The instruction manual states that the user can hit any key to wake the device up, but according to my experience, it does not work as claimed. Sometimes nothing works except for switching it off and on again. And when hitting a key does work, only certain keys such as the fn key and space bar work.
In addition, just touching the touchpad does not wake it up, which it should do because the touchpad is the most intuitive thing a user would use attempting to wake the device up.
The thing that really causes annoyance isn't how difficult it is to wake it up, but the inconsistency.
For example, when the whole thing just gets stuck, you can make it work again by switching off and back on again. It isn't difficult to do that, and it is very quick, but the inconsistency is annoying and distracting.
Another related issue is that starting the computer does not automatically wake up the remote. The USB dongle is always plugged into the computer, so theoretically it should be able to that. But instead, you have to manually turn the remote on. So to watch TV using your PC, you need to turn on three things, the TV, the PC, and this PC remote (and I hope you don't have one of those TV remotes that also need to be manually turned on every time when you use it). Not terribly difficult to do, but this hodgepodge doesn't give you a feeling of the state of art. It may be a design overlook, or maybe there's something fundamentally wrong with the sleep status of this entire device.
Fortunately, if you put your computer to sleep, turning on this PC remote does wake up your computer.
(2) The battery standby time is only about a month. This is partly a trade-off of using a rechargeable battery. One month may sound like a very long time, but remember you are talking about a remote control not a tablet computer. Most TV remote controls have a standby life over two years if you're using proper batteries.
Overall, I think the designer of this keyboard struggled with the power consumption issue and had to come up with a compromised solution. The frequent sleep mode is also a result of the same cause. Maybe someday a better design may solve these problems, but for the time being, this is what we get.
(3) The touchpad a bit too small, but that's part of the compact package, so I can't complain.
(4) The touchpad is a slightly jumpy and inconsistent, but very much usable.
FURTHER COMMENTS:
I hesitated to buy this to be honest. Some of the user reviews on the predecessor of this product had me worried. Besides, the seller is not really doing a good job in describing the product. It took me a while to realize this is actually an updated version of the previous Rii Touch Mini, which had been sold for quite some time and received hundreds of user reviews. This product, on the other hand, had only two reviews. It is very easy to be confused by these listings of products. I had initially suspected that Rii Touch N7 could be just a knockoff of the original Rii Touch Mini. When it comes to home electronics, you just don't know where they're coming from except that they're very likely all manufactured in China. But what matters is who designed them and who is behind the products to support them.
Anyway, after some research, I concluded that this is indeed an upgraded version which is manufactured by the same company, although may be marketed by a different company. So I went ahead despite the lack of user reviews.
I am quite happy with the product I received.
Out of box, this thing works with no hassle. On Windows 7, no driver is needed. (In fact, they don't even provide a driver. Even the multimedia function keys work without any setup. And it has a very good build quality.
If you have never seen one of these before, make sure you understand the actual size of this thing. It is comparable to a typical TV remote control, probably just a bit wider in the shorter dimension. But the keys are of very a practical size, not difficult to find and press. I would say it is a great form factor, although a slightly larger size could be even better.
The USB adapter, which is tiny, is hidden in the battery compartment of the keyboard in the origin of packaging, something that one could easily missed without reading the instructions. The USB adapter is completely plug-and-play.
The reception range is very good. I tried from about 30 feet away and it worked with no problem. But you should plug the USB adapter to a USB port in the front of the computer, not in the back to maximize the effective distance.
The touchpad, which I worried about the most, turned out to be a quite good part of this product. Although it is rather small due to the overall size of this thing, it is responsive, close to an average laptop (but not nearly as roomy and smooth). The buttons for left click and right-click are very easy to use. They are actually far better than the Logitech Revue's keyboard which is many many times larger than this.
Besides, the touchpad can do single and double clicks, which is critical and will hugely affect overall user experience if this feature is missing. Don't take this for granted, even Logitech Revue's much larger wireless keyboard does not have this. Unfortunately, single clicking using the touchpad isn't very reliable, and you often end up having to do a double-click to do something that you usually do with a single click on the computer. The trouble is not making a double-click itself, it is inconsistency which is annoying.
Details are very well thought out. The battery is replaceable. No separate charger is required. You just charge the thing using a USB cable.
One of the things one should pay attention to is that this device goes to sleep after only a couple of minutes of no use. So practically, every time when you pick it up, you need to wake it up, otherwise the thing would appear to be nonresponsive. I haven't carefully studied all the possible ways to wake it up, but hitting the space key works.
Unfortunately, sometimes the whole thing would become completely non-responsive. In my short period of use, this has happened quite frequently. It is very easy to fix the problem when it occurs (but won't prevent it from happening again). You just slide the power button off and back on, and the device becomes responsive with no time, until of course the problem happens again the next time. This makes the thing bit erratic and inconsistent.
If you want a remote control for your PC, particularly in the multimedia/home theater setting, this is the best device I could find. It is not perfect. I feel that if Logitech were to design and make this device, they could come up with an even better product. But unfortunately, Logitech does not make a compact PC remote control like this. The smallest Logitech wireless keyboard K400 is many times larger (about twice in each dimension, and eight times in volume), and four times heavier. The closest competition I saw was CE Compass Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad Mouse PC Remote Control, but I did not try that primarily because it does not have backlit and also has a much shorter distance range. But it has some attractive features and could be a good alternative for other uses.
Highly recommended despite the issues I observed.Reason for buying: I bought this mini wireless keyboard because like the majority of society today, I was lazy and wanted an all-in-one device to control my computer's desktop whilst sitting away from it. This is mainly due for using my computer to watch movies, which is hooked up to my tv.
First impressions: When it was delivered, I felt some sense of great relief. No more trekking those numerous footsteps to move my mouse at the desk or trying to move such said mouse in some form or fashion for the laser to read properly and move the cursor. This small contraption became what it was, I thought it was.
Reality: It works the way it's designed to, BUT don't expect it to last. It's good run was about 5 months. After that, it would begin to lag, I then searched around the internet for other reviews and found the same instances. As of right now when turning it on, the cursor will be moving erratically. Any attempt to move it would only make it put up a fight. The cursor would move only the distance allowed on the small track pad.
All the pros for this device can be read in the info section the company wrote. Sure they're nice to know in reviews, but I'd rather give the info a potential buyer, like myself, is worried about.All it's missing is a (PS) key so you need a controller to quit Netflix and games and a shift key on the right, but other than that it works perfectly on PS3 and PC. It really is the size of a Hershey bar! The battery can be easily replaced unlike the laser pointer models, who needs that anyway?, and when those irreplaceable batteries die it's trash time for the whole thing. The charge cord is cool about 2 feet and splits into a full and mini usb so you don't lose one and you can plug the transmitter into it so it's next to where it charges. No signal issue, i"m typing this with the Rii Touch N7 mini wireless keyboard from 10 feet away which is more than plenty. So much better using this than lugging around the giant corded monster keyboard I was using. This is one super cool device, mouse control is decent it's really fast and fun to type on this and way faster than the on screen keyboard I had been using instead of lugging out the full sized monster. Proof that sometimes smaller and lightweight is better! if they add a PS button to the next model I'd buy that too and use this for PC and that for PS3 and wouldn't even need to move the transmitter which is no big bother anyway and only missing the PS button is not even enough to rate this awesome product less than a solid 5. Plus the illuminated keyboard looks tight, get one of these and show it off to your friends they'll be jealous. I recommend getting this one New OEM Rii Touch N7 2.4G Hz Mini Wireless Full Qwerty Keyboard For PC, HTPC, Apple, Xbox360, Wii, PS3 With Removable Battery [Black] from LapTopMate {2 others look identical except for the name on box}because it's definitely in brand new boxed condition and I noticed from other reviews they seem to stand behind their stuff more than the other companies selling similar ones. This was a steal at $39.99 I would've easily paid $50 or more. I just love new high tech gizmos that make life better and this very nicely finally rids me of that old wired monster keyboard thank goodness! A+ for Amazon!--I was looking forward to receive my new mini bluetooth keyboard but when i got it i was happily surprised at the quality of the product it uses a rechargeable battery which is convenient and lasts a while.
--It also connects to all my bluetooth devices with ease and with great range. this is by far the best mini keyboard i have tested in the market and i highly recommend it to anyone who wants a pocket sized & lightweight keyboard thats super mobile.
--The keyboard has a great slim design and somehow the track-pad in the middle does help a lot. I can use it to connect my PC, MAC, Xbox, Ipad and many other devices.
--This is Made in China product which in most of the cases is but the quality is just great. I mean very good.
--The best part is the back-light of the keyboard. Close all the lights of your room while watching a movie and this little gadget can help you control from a distance.
All in all a good device.Yep, we dumped cable and have gone with just on-line content(Netflix, Hulu+, YouTube, Pandora and various news webs sites). This little unit was the last piece of our set-up. I put the computer box in the office adjoining our T.V. room and ran the cables through the wall, including a USB extension cable to which I inserted the mini dongle for the Rii remote. Works flawlessly. The track pad is very responsive, I can move the mouse arrow across the 42" screen with ease. Hitting the "e" in the center immediately launches the web browser. The left and right mouse buttons on either side of the "e" work just like a regular mouse. All the keys are there plus Fn keys that allow you to control your computer's speakers, pause, FF, and RW content, as well as several other tasks. Also, using a combination of the Fn key and F7 lets you rotate the track pad 90 degrees so you can hold the remote in one hand and use it with your thumb like you would a standard remote. Fn + Enter works like CTRL + Alt + Del, (comes in handy when you want to take a look at Task Manager). Holds a charge for a very long time. As others have stated, it does shut off after a few minutes of not being used, but sliding the on/off switch on the left edge instantly restores it with no lag at all. The size is slightly larger and slightly thicker than a regular Hershey candy bar. It seems fairly sturdy as I have dropped it half a dozen times already and it has suffered no ill effects. The keyboard is definitely "Thumbs Only, Finger Need Not Apply". Adequate for entering in a Google Search but not realistic for writing anything longer. Having the back light feature is a really nice touch when you have the lights down and need to adjust sound or pause playback. Overall I think I'd give it about 4.3 stars.

The ultra light "leather" case is cheap... for the price I paid I could have gotten something WAY better for $5.00 more at best buy. In addition, this case doesn't close when both the Asus tablet and the Asus keyboard are in it. I was also concerned about whether or not the case would even hold the tablet by itself. It seemed like the tablet could just fall right out. I'm sending it back.Thursday, May 29, 2014
Logitech KeyCase All In One Keyboard & Case for Palm
- Keyboard and protective case combination
- Textile keyboard made of durable, lightweight, spill-proof material
- Fast, easy setup
- One-touch keys for quick access to your favorite applications
- Compatible with Palm m125, m130, m500, m505, m515 and i705 handhelds
My advice: do NOT buy this item. I will order a folding keyboard, more reliable, I hope.

I like the Logitech KeyCase. It gives me two things I needed for my Palm M130, a keyboard and a case. Overall, it compared with most of the other keyboards for the m130 that I tried out.I feel that they keys are a bit small and close together for my larger hands and thick fingers. If your fingers are thin or your hands are average size or smaller, the KeyCase would be a very good keyboard for your Palm.
Having used other flexible keyboards, I was surprised at the responsiveness of the KeyCase. It wasn't nearly as mushy as I expected and was comparable to many other portable keyboards I've tested.
Overall, I think that the KeyCase is a good value, very usable if you take into account the size of your hands, and is fairly priced. It also the attention to quality that I've experienced and enjoyed with many other Logitech products in the past.

I thought that this would be a great item. BOY, was I wrong. My friend who is an IT person where I work couldn't get it to set up or function. This is one of my first GPS and it has been excellent! I paid a whopping low $377 shipped for it, brand new!The 3D maps, Points-of-Interests, and voice-guided turn-by-turn directions are very accurate...just like the same in the crazy expensive Nuvi 350...especially when you enable the WAAS feature! This allows nearly superior accuracy over conventional tracking.
The off-route calculation is fast and efficient after going off rate for about 1000 feet... route calculations are pretty quick usually taking about 10-15 seconds. The voice prompts are clear and audible.
Yes sometimes this unit hangs once in a while (especially when you are searching for a location and then you go back and try to browse a map).
Overall this is a great PDA with integrated GPS. It is a lot better than the M5 because it features 3D mapping. The M4 is the latest of the M-series family of Garmin GPS/PDA and that (m4) features integrated maps already onto the PDA. But for me, the 512MB SD card is more than capable of holding 75% of the North American Continent, so the M3 is probably a wiser choice considering it is a lot cheaper than the M4! The entire state of California only requires less than 70 megabytes of storage.
Other features include the SDIO/SD slot which allows wireless 802.11b capabilities if you buy a $50 wireless card.
Overall this is a excellent buy if you are looking for a portable PDA with integrated GPS and can get it for under $400.

I bought this unit and was excited to see how it performed. It turned on and acquired the satellites within 10 minitues initially, all ok. I spent the next 4 days trying to get it to work with my computer. After several emails and phone conversations, Garmin finally told me the deal. No Garmin unit is designed to work with Windows XP Media Edition. Additionally, their USB connection will only work if the USB chips are Intel. The following chips will definitely not work: ALI, NEC,or VIA. I am not happy with Garmin. They could have saved me a lot of grief by stating this in their advertisements or home page technical FAQs.Overall I think, for my money, nothing beats this product...hands down. The reviews about slow satelite connection or slow off route recalculation do it a kind of disservice. These people are either impatient or to "tech savy" for this piece of equipment. Putting half the US on a 256mb card or having a wifi connection on the go is waaayyy worth a slow connection here and there. This total package is what any "average Joe" can handle and would be well worth any pennies spent.As soon as I recieved my Garmin M3, I went to garmin.com and downloaded the latest updates which were very easy to download and apply. This should be standard practice anytime anyone purchases a PDA running a version of Windows. The M3 has preformed flawlessly for 2 weeks straight. I'm a heavy PDA user and I've put this thing through it's course. It hasn't locked up or needed to be reset once since I've been using it. The GPS works flawlessly. The included window cradle mount for my car is great and I like the fact that it charges when it's in the cradle. The PDA works fine for my contacts, calendar and tasks. Even a few games I have on it work fine. If you need a GPS and use a PDA regularly then this is the unit for you.Wednesday, May 7, 2014
Black Durable Hard Protector Cover Case + LCD Screen Protector skin shield for LG KP500 Cookie
- Sleek and stylish design LG KP500 Cookie Hard Case gives your phone a new look.
- Featuring durable plastic construction to ensures the long life of your phone.
- It protects your phone while provides a comfortable sensation in your hand and a no-slip grip.
- Protector: Clear, ultra thin and durable. Custom designed to fit your phone
And there is no way to reposition it more expensive to return to re-purchase a new one.The screen protector was more sticky than most, which made it super hard to smooth out bubbles.The case had a small crack in it, which I did not notice until trying to get it onto the phone. The case broke in half! When I tried to return these items SF planet charged a 50% restocking fee because it was "damaged". This item is of poor quality and should be removed from amazon. Aside from that, SF has very poor customer service. If you want a quality case and screen protector go for something a little more expensive.this so called durable hard case is nothing but a farce. i bought this case and the case cud barely fit the phone,it was so flimsy and it only lasted 5 days YEAH 5 DAYS. please do not waste your $10 buying this product get a skin.at first i liked it...although i didnt really like the way it was clipped on part of it....it wasnt till later that day a clip and then soon another clip broke that i realized i didnt like part of it becaus it was already broken....so it came down to holding on by 2 clips and didnt wanna stay on...very thin plastic...if ur looking for protection just buy a silicone...i guess thats the best u can get for the cookieThe hard case was ok, the only thing I received. but I didn't find the LCD skin protector or the neckstrap.
They didn't send it. Bad service.

While I fully take the blame for this, I would prefer if Amazon did not mention this monitor is frequently purchased with HDMI cables as this monitor cannot use HDMI cables. Only now do I realize this after I got them. Other than that I am happy with my purchase of this monitor.Bought this for my wife who is a technical writer and needs to see 2 pages side by side in Open Office. Even without an HDMI input, the text is sharp and really pops out at you, probably due to the LED lighting. She can look at text on this monitor all day without eye strain. Before I gave it up to my wife, I "broke in" this monitor on a gaming rig for a week, and it performed very well there, too. The power supply is a brick but the cable going from the brick to the monitor is long enough to let you put the brick away somewhere it won't be noticed. The monitor itself is surprisingly light, but is very stable on the desk. Overall, this is a very nice monitor, especially if you don't have HDMI and already have speakers.I purchased this monitor as a second monitor for my MacBook, and it is fantastic. It is super clear and changing the settings are very easy. Pictures and videos look great!!! Everything you view is very sharp. This is an excellant buy for the money!!1Sunday, April 13, 2014

Make sure you read the support issues on this card, and preferably call Tech support to see if there are known issues with your pocket PC before you buy this card. I bought this card for my Dell Axim X5 (Pocket PC 2002), and it just did not work, inspite of trying to install and uninstall thrice. Sandisk support site and customer service rep claimed that there are known issues with Dell Axim the 128 MB memory portion does not work. He claimed that only the wireless portion should work. However, that did not work either in my case inspite of trying everything under the sun. My recommendation stay away from this if you own a Dell Axim.I have HP iPaq H2215 and use this wi-fi with my PDA. It works good and I was having a little bit hard time to install the software. I didn't use the software that came with it, I use the software from the SanDisk website (http://www.sandisk.com/retail/drivers-sdwcfb-128.asp).The software for Pocket PC 2002 / Win CE is different with Pocket PC 2003. For Pocket PC 2003, it doesn't really support WEP Encryption or probably I don't know how to set it up.
I setup my router at home using WEP 128 bit encryption and I put a passphrase to encrypt it but when I tried to connect the internet using my PDA, it didn't work. I tried several times, changed the setup but still didn't work and then I decided to disable WEP settings and it worked and it still working right now.
Overall, this product is good and it has extra memory for my PDA.

Why leave your Roady 2 outside lonely in your car or truck when you can bring it inside and maximize your XM value? I carry my receiver back and forth between the vehicle and my house. Once in the house, I plop my Roady 2 into the home cradle, plug in the power and antenna and use the built in FM transmitter to broadcast XM to the FM radio in my bedroom and the main stereo in my living room, about 40 feet away. Granted, I have a good antenna in my home stereo, but the XM comes through clear. By using the line-out option, you can get even more clarity, but then you're limited to one service point.The home antenna is so powerful that, even though you're supposed to have it in a south-facing window, you might be able to fudge on that. Just use the "antenna aiming" feature on the Roady 2 available through the menu for a more detailed view of what the Roady 2 is seeing through the home antenna. The home kit also comes with a remote control that alone is about worth the price of the kit. The remote has features not available on the Roady 2 receiver itself including "scan" and "jump" (or a sort of "last channel" button).
I listen to the "Audio Visions" channel late at night and, sometimes, while I sleep. I wake up and dial the receiver over to CNN or Fox news for a little wake up. But wonderful programming is another subject all together! If you're just thinking about the XM service, . Amazon has great prices on the hardware necessary to enjoy the service.

Awesome toy now that it's got power. I would give 5 stars however when I opened the package I was disappointed to discover my AC adapter wouldnt plug securely into my Roady2. Perhaps I have an older version? After compairing it to my auto adapter, I found that the AC adapter had a yellow plastic tip about a millimeter or two extending from the plug that shouldnt normally get in the way. I shaved it off with a knife so that it can plug into my Roady2 and have power.The antenna works in my area as I'm surrounded by terrestrial transmitters, and plus my apartment is on the top floor. I just have the antenna sitting in the corner of my living room on a bookshelf.
Want Delphi SA10069 Home Adapter Kit for XM SKYFi Roady or Roady2 Discount?
This item is a must have for XM radio ownwers. Why be stuck to having the radio in the car only, when you can hook up the unit to your home stereo or home theatre receiver?The home kit comes with everything you needthe sturdy thick plastic base, the AC power adapter, the wires to connect to your receiver, and the powerful antenna with I think 20 feet of wire for it.
I use my unit in a bedroom basement, had to have the 50 ft extension cord to make it all the way to the south area of the basement. I have it mounted on the stairwall next to the backdoor which faces south. Surprisingly, you don't need a south facing window or an outside mounting. My unit gets perfect reception with 3 bars all the time inside the house. When the door is left open (which is rare), it does interfer with the signal and it usually goes down to 1 bar, but it's never open for any length of time, so this is no problem.
The base to the kit is very sturdy and make of thick plastic. It's durable and tough. You just slide the unit into the clamp, which is easy to do as opposed to some products where you have to position things perfectly to get them on their bases. The base tilts up and down so you can get the best view of the radio's screen...like I said, very strong and durableit sits there and it's not moving or falling over on its own.
The antenna, as I pointed out, works wellit's clearly pretty strong. It has a plate you can take out and put 4 screws in to mount it on the wall inside or outside. I have 1 screw thru mine and it sits against the wall of the stairway so no one can knock into it. The antenna tilts as wellyou can have it flat against the base or tilt it outwards to make it perpendicular with the base to find better reception. Mine, as mentioned, is flat against the base and it works fine this way.
If you have a south facing window and that seems to be the only way you can get 3 bars...it would probably sit easily inside most windows. Mine downstairs are very small and have no real window sills to speak of, so this wouldn't work...tho, no problemthe sigal goes right thru the door!
The wiring connecting to the unit is strong, but it's thin so it's easily run over my entertainment center and hidden well. Same for the power adapter and jacks to the receiver. Great sound quality via the RCA cables in the kit. It's all long enough for most people...the antenna comes with 20 feet of wire.
A great product and a must have for XM radio ownersthis makes it possible to listen to XM anywhere.The antenna is very weak. It definitely needs to face an open southern sky and it hates having walls in the way. There is an opportunity for a third party developer to create a better antenna here. On the other hand, the antenna cable is very long so Delphi is TRYING to make it easy to face it south.
The stand. . . well, it works and it seems rugged enough but it is very light and it slides around very easily. Too easily. I can see that it might be possible to accidentally knock it off the table.
The remote reciever in the roady seems to have a very narrow angle of view which limits the usefulness of the remote control. If you are too far to the right or left of the reciever, the remote is pretty useless. The remote itself, while physically small, is well designed and works with my gorilla hands. The buttons are of a good size. Overall, a good design.
This review might seem kind of negative so far, but that's not really the case in my mind. The components could be better, but they work reasonably well with each other and the Roady2 radio. I'd like to see improvements made and I'd even pay a bit more for a home kit with a stronger antenna. But overall, I am satisfied.

Targus Executive Stylus and Pen for Apple iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4th Generation, iPad mini, 1
- Allows users to type accurately and comfortably and soft, durable rubber tip won?t scratch screen
- Functions as a roller ball pen for smooth writing and traditional note-taking
- Leaves no smudges or fingerprints
- Works on all capacitive touch surfaces; use with iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone and other capacitive touch-screen devices
- Pen is compatible with Cross Roller Pen Refills
This style is unique because, although it has the soft tip for the screen, it also has an ink pen inside the cap! Just pull off the snap-on cap and you have a writing utensil at hand. The pen contains a Yeetsen brand roller type cartridge but you can also use Standard Cross Gel Rolling Ball Refills that can be purchased from Office Max or any other office supply store that carries that brand.
I received my Kindle Fire as a Christmas gift and was happy to find a stylus to use with it -I don't think you can find a nicer product for the money if you want a device like this.
Highly recommended and would make an excellent gift!I received my Targus Combo stylus / pen and am very pleased with it. I'm a pen collector of sorts and have been an o.e. calligrapher for over 25 years now. I'm very particular when it comes to fine writting instruments. I own a couple of Montblancs, a couple of Pelikans and more common brands like Cross, Sheaffer and Parker. This pen writes flawlessly and the stylus works very well even with a screen protector on my iPad. All in all, this is a great value. Besides it's functionality, it also looks great. I have many clients who have made compliments regarding it and all are very impressed. Shipping was expeditious as I opted to use Amazon's Free Super Saver shipping. I live in Hawai'i and received the pen in two days! I HIGHLY recommend this purchase without any reservations.I've used a lot of stylus products for iPad and other touchscreen products; the problem with most of those products is the screen response is not always 100%. In that respect, this stylus wins. This stylus is the best fingertip replacement I've used. The screen response has been 100%. I've used it for gameplay, ebook page flipping and handwriting applications with no complaints. Of course, this is not for games that require a speedy response.
This stylus has the added benefit of helping you keep your iPad screen smudge free. The fact that it also has a pen tip means it's a 2 in 1 product and eliminates the need for a separate pen. The pen itself looks classy, like a lot of Parker and Cross pens. I do wish there was a way this could be hooked onto an iPad that's not in leather portfolio/binder. That's my only grouse but all in all, this stylus is worth owning for any iPad holder.Targus got this pen right! This is a high quality writing instrument. Holding this pen in your hand it feels like an expensive pen. You can refil this pen with Cross Pen refills, so you can always choose what color of ink, and if you want a fine or a regular tipped pen. Flip this pen over and it is a stylus for your ipad. I love this pen, and it has become a fixture in my purse.I purchased this stylis because of the positive reviews. For me, the stylis tip/pen-cap is too wide to see what I'm trying to select when looking down the barrel. It obstructs the view. And if you like to doodle, forget about it! You basically have to draw blindly because the rubber tip is hidden and the rubber tip is wide so that should tell you something. Also, the point of the pen is too fine for my liking. It's like writing with a needle, which results in unsmooth and jagged handwriting because the tip pricks the paper. I don't find this stylis to be a very practical instrument for touchscreen or handwriting. It's top-heavy for handwriting, and bottom-heavy for touchscreen. It might work for those who will use at an angle, but not for straight up and down users like me.
