Sony Dash HID-C10 Internet Surfing Device

Sony Dash HID-C10 Internet Surfing Device
  • Sony HIDC10 Dash Personal Internet Viewer

People are expecting too much out of this device. It's not an ipad. It's a glorified alarm clock with apps. It is a great alarm clock that keeps time even after the power goes out. Most clocks would lose time but not this device it automatically reconnects to the router to reset time. Also if power is kept on and the internet is turned off it still keeps time so if your like me and your internet is spotty at times the clock will keep time even without internet access. I love listening to Pandora on it. The speakers are plenty powerful to rock out while playing some video games. Also there are 1000's of apps to download with many categories to cover. You can download weather, educational, sports, news, video game apps, and even different looking clock designs. I have facebook, espn, netflix, and Youtube myself on the dash. You can either look at them when you want or have them cycle through on a predestined loop. The touchscreen is responsive and it has a nice looking screen for watching videos. Also you can plug in usb devices and play music and videos on the dash from them. You can even link Pandora or other music apps to alarms so you wake up to your favorite tunes. One problem I had was linking my Netflix and Facebook accounts but with the help of the excellent and free Sony customer support I figured it out in no time. I am very happy with this device and plan on buying another for my other room. If your looking for an alarm clock with benefits then pick up this great device.

This device is FANTASTIC!

I am using this as a digital photo frame, wireless internet radio streamer, mp3 player, weather station, sports scoreboard, news and information provider and Netflix viewer!

I have the device connected to my wireless home network, and it has maintained a good connection for the several weeks I've had it. The LCD touchscreen is sharp and clear, and the unit is nicely built and sturdy.

This is a fantastic little device. I'm using it in my kitchen as a quick source of entertainment and news since my kitchen is closed off from the tv in the living room. I can watch hulu and Netflix videos and listen to pandora while I cook or clean. If you're looking for a tablet, this isn't for you but it's a pretty cool stationary entertainment device.

Want Sony Dash HID-C10 Internet Surfing Device Discount?

I got my Sony Dash as a gift shipped by Amazon.com. I know the gift cost only $89 and free shipping so watch out for sellers charging over $100. Even the Sony Store sells it for less than $100! I wanted the Dash to replace my traditional clock radio alarm. Sony was calling it a Personal Internet Viewer but if you visit the Sony Store, you will see they now call it the "Dash Information Alarm Clock". This is the better description. If you want an awesome alarm clock that has tons of cool Internet Apps, including Pandora, then this is the device for you. So far I haven't had any problems with adding or deleting Apps. The only problem I had was you need to register the device before it can be fully used, and the User Guide was not very helpful about what the device name is supposed to be to register it online. I contacted Sony Support and they sent me an eSupport URL link to a webpage that made it clear that you need to touch the "System" menu button on the device and it tells you the device name which is "My Dash" and a registration code, then you just enter this data into an account you setup to access your Sony Dashboard via a web-based interface. The Dash has a nice crisp display, good sound, and lots of information in a very powerful desktop device. If the power gets turned off, don't worry your Dash alarm settings and favorite weather information is saved, including all your App settings, when powered back on. I am very happy with my Sony Dash.

great potential but absolutely mediocre execution tied to proprietary Sony servers.

registration is pain but i though once that was done it would be a nice picture frame / alarm clock... that was until this am.

As of 9/15 Sony has pulled the plug on the servers so the dash can't authenticate and is essentially a paperweight. the unit has great potential but everything is tied to Sony servers so it can't even boot up without calling home. It can't change channels, apps, or do much of anything without calling home and with the home servers down it's not worth much of anything.

if you're thinking of buying one (even at the steep discounts) please don't as this is intricately associated with Sony's back-end servers somewhere that they really don't care about (abandoned). if/when the server go so will your purchase and it will become (no matter what condition) a useless slab of tech that can't be used for anything else (inspite of it's relatively nice screen / touch screen / speaker / industrial design).

3M Gold Privacy Filter for 17.0 Inch Widescreen Laptop (GPF17.0W)

3M Gold Privacy Filter for 17.0 Inch Widescreen Laptop
  • Fits screen sizes of 17 1/16" diagonally measured (Width 14 1/2",Height 9 1/16")
  • Screen data is visible only to persons directly in front of the monitor.3M privacy technology darkens on-screen data when viewed from the side. Keeps your electronic information confidential, making it excellent for use in high traffic areas.
  • 3M Gold Privacy filters provide nearly twice the level of effective privacy protection and 14% higher clarity than standard black out privacy filters.
  • User sees more clearly than ever while on-lookers see nothing but a vibrant golden screen.
  • Filter is reversible. Choose gold or black side.

I bought the Gold privacy screen for my new Mac Pro 15.5 Laptop. It works great! Fellow workers complain because they can't see my laptop screen unless they get directly behind me. It works especially well with window light hitting it. If fellow workers do stand directly behind me, I just spin around and they back off. I reordered the one for a 17" Mac Pro as it fits better than the one 3M recommends for the 15.5". The 3M recommended screen fits only over the viewing area and leaves about a 1" border to the edge of the screen and is held on with cheesy plastic tabs that glue on the screen. It looks bad and in two weeks the cheesy plastic mounting tabs fell off. You will have much difficulty cleaning the laptop screen with the cheesy plastic tabs glued in place. The Gold Screen for the 17" Mac Pro fits over the entire screen of the 15.5" Mac Pro and is right to the edge of the entire screen. It just leans up against the screen as it leans back. It is a glove fit and is well worth the difference. It lays down flat when I close the screen and travels well. Don't buy the Gray Screen Filter, the Gold is 500% better! The Gray was a costly mistake. Cheaper isn't always the answer. Also, I bought directly from 3M and paid way too much one the first round. (sales Tax, shipping, and a higher price) This time Amazon was my source. (3M(tm) GPF17.0W Widescreen Gold Notebook Privacy Filter) Roger

I use this in my Physical Therapy office on my laptop and it works well. I like the color side because it has a cooler feel but you can turn around the filter and get the old blackout look.

3M does need some competition with this product because the screen is so expensive.

For three years I've used the smoke colored 3M privacy filter on a 15" macbook pro, and it's been awesome. Just bought a 17" and saw this new gold filter and had to give it a go (it's really cool looking :-).

But, big bummer when I put it on the screen unlike the smoke colored one, this gold one has visible diagonal lines that made me dizzy within a minute of viewing. Sending it back to get the smoke filter.

Handy Portable Document and Photo Scanner

Handy Portable Document and Photo Scanner
  • Just glide the scanner over any document or photo to capture it in 600 x 600 dpi resolution. Scanning doesn't get any easier than this

Overview and Scan Quality:

This little scanner is lightweight, easily portable, doesn't take up much space, and is super easy to use. It takes a little getting used to to get scans straight (if you shift even slightly while scanning, table lines and rows of text will not be precisely straight). The scanned image is pretty clear and I have had no problems with bleeding, blurring, fuzzing, dulling, or anything of the like. It does sometimes pick up a bit of noise that adds a slight color in the background of monotone scans. This may confuse a printer to add that coloring should you need to print the scanned page. This scanner can scan color or monotone items and the resolution can be set to either 300dpi or 600dpi.

This is fine for quicky scans of receipts, reference material, and the like, but if you are scanning important records or anything that requires a high quality scan, you may want to practice with this thing until you get everything straight or just use a flatbed scanner for that sort of thing. You will want to scan on a white surface unless you don't mind bits of table or more significant noise showing up in your scan.

Included Software:

The software is not required in order to use the scanner and I don't like that it has no pdf option. The software takes whatever screenshot you select and will send the text to Word, a table to Excel, either to a file or the clipboard, or an image to a file, clipboard, or email. I did not bother with it since I use pdf files almost exclusively and I cannot tell you if any of the transfers are accurate. Whether you use the software or not, the scanner is recognized as a storage device and your scan opens as an image in Windows Image Viewer. If you have a pdf printer driver (such as CutePDF, which is a free download at the CutePDF website), you can simply select "print" in the image viewer and set it to full page to print the image to a pdf file. I have to admit that the scans look a lot better than I expected them to.

MicroSD Card:

The description on Amazon currently seems to indicate that the microSD card is optional. It is not, so make sure you have one when you get this scanner. It scans wirelessly and only gets plugged in via USB cable to transfer saved scans to your computer.

Batteries, Cables, Etc.:

I use mine for occasional quick scans I don't want to turn the flatbed on for, such as receipts and notes. I have not had a problem with batteries running out, but that may be an issue if you are using the scanner more heavily. I use eneloop rechargeable batteries in mine without problem. The cable is a standard USB, so if you lose it, you probably have a dozen or so lying around you can use and, if you don't, it is not expensive to replace. It also comes with a microfiber cloth for cleaning the scan window. Make sure not to use anything other than microfiber! If you lose it, the Walmart eye care center carries inexpensive microfiber cloths that will work just fine and other stores that sell glasses also carry them.

Scanning:

FYI, the image on Amazon shows the scanner going across a book page horizontally. If you will look closely, there are white lines at either end of the scanner and those indicate the scan area. For best results, start at the top of the page and move the scanner down toward you, making sure the image you want scanned stays in between those white lines. It is not picky and didn't have a problem with me being a little jerky. Any side-to-side movement will result in slightly jagged lines, but the direction it scans came out just fine even though I am not very good at keeping an even pace.

Conclusion:

This scanner is great for quick scans or on-the-go scanning. The results are crisp and clear with minimal effort and retrieving scans from it is very simple.

I received this product in good order and in a timely fashion. It was pretty simple to operate, but it eats batteries. so make sure you have some extra ones on hand.

After purchasing my own mini SD card and my own batteries, I was ready to do some scanning.

It is a good as it claims to be! For storing good printable scans of Black and White and colour documents, the 300 dpi is more than adequate. 600 dpi tends to produce bulky documents (more than 2 MB). Unless you have a picture with some fine details that need magnification later on, the 500 900 kb file size produced by 300 dpi is sufficient. The maximum time it will take to scan an 8.5 x 11 inch paper is 12 seconds (colour, 600 dpi) but since I use the 300 dpi all the time, the recommended time is less than 5 seconds. Very quick!

It takes a little practice getting to know which side to orient the scanner not to produce an upside down image or a laterally inverse one. Unless you have Parkinson's disease, most people's hands will be steady enough to scan wonderfully crisp images. The problem is that some documents/book pages have staples, dog ears and other impediments that make it difficult to roll over a flat surface evenly. As far as surfaces go; I recommend laying the document on top of a pane of glass, which allows for a frictionless gliding motion. I tried to press the document page flat onto the reverse side of the glass pane and scan from the other side of the glass but unfortunately, unlike flatbed scanners, this results in a blurred image. It seems the thickness (1/4 inch) of the glass was too much to get a good scan.

I really have fun with this scanner but of course wouldn't recommend using it to scan entire books. I only use it to grab magazine articles and to scan receipts and the like, but it would also be excellent for pictures.

A 1 GB SD card is more than sufficient memory. I have been scanning non stop for weeks now and must have hundreds of documents and still haven't used half of the memory. The autoshutoff after 2 minutes saves on battery life, which has only needed replacing once since the 4 weeks I've used it daily. A caveat since human hands are unsteady by nature, chances are that after doing many scans, some will end up with characters on the page which are stretched or compressed a bit (portions where your hand glided too quickly or got stuck on a dog ear). So don't buy this if you have to produce large numbers of flawlessly reproduced documents or else you'll be disappointed or find you have to strive too hard for perfection.

I definitely believe this is a good buy, though some may be put off by having to buy your own sd card and batteries (which is a significant cost). But most phones have micro sd cards now, so that could be substituted and there are always some old batteries lying round the house right? (in the remote control maybe?).

The scanner works basically as advertised. We will keep it. It is not difficult to use. My only complaint is that I wanted it to convert text into Word. I just could not get the included software to give me anything but gibberish when converting from optical to a Word formagt. But the device is easy to use and does a fine job of scanning and downloading optical files so I can save scanned documents but I cannot edit them.

All I expect in a sub $100 scanner is here. Works reliably and clearly on flat documents. No required install of bloatware on a Macintosh. After you install batteries and a micro SD card (not supplied!) you format the card, set the time, calibrate with a piece of white paper and go. There are two options, low/high (300 or 600 DPI), and mono/color. These settings are not persistent between restarts. The device always scans full-width, about 8", and is quite tolerant of jerky scans. When you plug in to a computer using the included USB cable the scanner appears as a digital camera device and all of the jpeg's are in a single folder. There is no OCR software included for Macs so you have to use your own solution here.

Belkin PDA KEYBOARD (G700) ( F8P3502 )

Belkin PDA KEYBOARD
  • An ideal performance upgrade from Cat5 cabling in your 100Base-T or Gigabit Ethernet network.
  • Ensures clean and clear transmissions.
  • Snagless-type moldings.

This full-size portable keyboard from Belkin has a very clever design. The keyboard is broken into three sections -and the middle section rises up when the outer two sections are spread apart. They then click together and remain rigid -which is great for typing on one's lap like a notebook PC.

There's a full row of numbers across the top. And the space bar is unbroken (unlike the Palm Ultrathin keyboard which splits the space bar into two). The only gripe I have with the keyboard layout is the right shift key, which is very small and out to the right (just beyond the up/down and left/right navigation keys), which I sometimes miss-hit when I'm typing very quickly.

The unit is very compact when completely folded. It's not quite as thin (or as cool looking) as the new Palm Ultrathin keyboard, but it is much sleeker than the original Palm keyboard (which now seems clunky by comparison).

If you're looking for one keyboard to do it all -have a real row of numbers and be extremely portable this unit from Belkin is a very good choice!

Buy Belkin PDA KEYBOARD (G700) ( F8P3502 ) Now

I just received this keyboard for my palm t3 and it works great. however, there is just 1 issue that would make this perfect, at least for me. The spacebar could have been more centered than it's now. looking at the keyboard, there is really no reason why the "alt" key needs to be on the right of space bar, which is pushing the spacebar towards the left. if they had just put the "alt" key to the left, it would have been perfect as i noticed that tapping on the spacebar on the extreme right edge (due to the fact that it's left bias and I'm using my right thumb) sometimes misses the actual space character.

If any of you value your sanity or life, stay AWAY!! I got this for Christmas. I was happy because my friend had one and it worked fine for him. Lucky for him, not for me. It didn't work with the drivers that came with it. I had to download the driver from Belkin's site to get it to even recognize that there was a keyboard there. Now, whenever I press a button once, it fills the entire screen with that key. WITH ONLY ONE PRESS. I figured that I might be missing something so I contacted their technical support. A week later I got an email saying I should just download the drivers from the site and not use the one that came with it. They won't take it back or anything, if I ever meet the president of Belkin.......

This is a great field recorder. I am using it for audio capture when shooting video. The ability to have 4 track in a hand held recorder is awesome. I like to use the on board mics for ambient sound and then use wired or wireless mics boomed in on a pole.

Also using it for live band demos. On board mics for the live room mix with the ability to take to feed from the board.

Haven't tried to use the mult-track functions. That is my next project.

Great product, I recommend....

I bought this so that I could charge my N800 via USB. The cable is retractable, so its small size when retracted makes it ideal for carrying it.

The reason I write this review is, however, the wonderful customer support I received from BoxWave. I bought this device from Amazon and posted it to a friend in USA since I am in Turkey. She brought me the device, but I saw that the device was not charging sometimes.

I immediately wrote to BoxWave, asking for what could be the reason for this and if I could fix it. I didn't offer to send it back or that it be replaced, since I am in Turkey and didn't want to bother with shipping it back.

The reply was very kind, telling that they would replace the device, and since I was in Turkey, they didn't want me to post the defective unit back.

They sent me a brand new device, free of charge, with free shipping, from USA to Turkey! I am very pleased by this attitude of this company, BoxWave.

(I also own a screen protector and a case made by BoxWave, and I recommend them too, especially the screen protector. I have never used my N800 without a screen protector, but I have read that it was not readable under sunlight.I can read mine everywhere thanks to the screen protector.)

This card is exactly what I wanted, small with low power requirements. I used it in a home theater computer and it played every HD movie I tested smoothly and cleanly. The problem is there is something funny with it's temperatures. At first it was fine, running 42 to 53 degrees but then on the 3rd day I turned it off to install a network card and burned myself on the video card's heat sink. When I had the computer back up and running I checked the video card's temperature and it was idling at 103 degrees, Celsius. I let it run for a few more minutes while I installed Evga's precision software to verify that temp and it agreed with hwmonitor. I shut it down. A couple hours later I brought it up again, this time it was idling at 63 degrees and didn't vary much from that temp for the next several hours. The next day it was up in the eighties and then again nineties. Today it stayed around 71.

I really don't have a good idea what is wrong with it and I'm not going to spend anymore time worrying about it for a brand new card. It's going back.

Geforce 210 is not made for game enthusiasts. It's made for basic computers, home or business. It's a low-end card which does its job and doesn't consume much power. It's perfet for that. However, for having a passive cooler (no fan attached), it requires the computer case to be coolish -proper ventilation. Otherwise it'll heat up too much and may end up dying. Just make sure you use at least 2 fans in your case, one at the front pulling the air to inside and one at the back working as an exhaust fan (proper ventilation will not help you graphics card only, it'll help all your hardwares).

I've owned a Flashtrax (40GB), Epson P-2000 & eFilm Picture pad and would rate the Flashtrax in the middle of the pack, with the P-2000 in the lead at this point when it comes to digital photo storage.

Advantages to Flashtrax

One button download don't need to open cover to start download process

Better raw file support, can rotate & zoom raw files & view histogram

Offers a 80GB option

Disadvantages of Flashtrax

Doesn't come with protective case

Hinged screen seems vulnerable to breakage if you bend it back too far

Menus & filelists are hard to navigate buttons awkward

Need to move rubber piece to insert memory card each time

Compared to p-2000 the screen display is poor and protective plastic is flimsy

Battery snaps on end near hinge and can pop out if you press buttons on side accidentally.

Slow download speeds

Awkward to hold & balance because you have to unfold the screen. Folding screen also makes hard to adjust screens angle of view if there is a glare.

Advantages to P-2000

Menus & Buttons are visual, intuitive and easy to use. Browsing thumbnails display quickly.

The display is large, sharp, bright and perfect for viewing photos

Quick downloads

Memory cards slot design makes it easy to load & remove cards with press of button. Accepts both SD & Compact Flash cards without an adapter.

Comes with protective case, hand strap & display stand

Battery is well protected stored inside device with a door covering it

Easy handling, no clumsy screen to unfold

Disadvantages to P-2000

Can't Zoom or do slide shows with raw files If you shoot .nef +jpg, you can still zoom, create slide shows and it will auto rotate the jpg for you. Although you can't rotate raw files I didn't find it an issue since it's easy to turn the device sideways and that way it uses the whole large screen for a larger display anyway.

No Histogram display on raw files (again if you shoot with a raw+jpg you can view the histogram on the jpg)

Hard to find one in stock to buy!

Prior to buying the P-2000 I owned a Flashtrax & an eFilm PicturePad which I use to download raw digital photos. One day the eFilm stopped reading memory cards, but the other functions worked. Although it was under warranty the eFilm stopped making them and couldn't fix it so bought a Flashtrax to replace it.

I liked the Flashtrax a lot better than the picturePad since it's display, battery life and menus were much better than the efilm. When my husband dropped the FlashTrax on a grassy area, the screen cracked even though it was folded at the time. It still worked fine, the display was just cracked. So don't assume that the folding screen will protect the screen from breaking. SmartDisk replaced the screen but a few weeks ago my photo equipment was stolen so I was back on the market for a portable storage device. I must give kudos to SmartDisk for great warranty support! After reading a review of the p-2000 I decided to give it a try. (On the p-2000 the glass/plastic on the p-2000 screen & body seems much more solid than the FlashTrax so I think it would withstand rough play a little better even though it doesn't fold.)

Now that I've worked with the P-2000, I wouldn't buy another Flashtrax. The P-2000 downloads from memory cards much faster, and the screen display is bright, sharp and large enough (3.8") to get a detailed view of photos. The menu's are more intuitive due to the more visual nature of the menus and the buttons easier to use. The slide show feature also automatically will create transitions to make the show look polished without any effort. There's no folding and unfolding screens to view making it's easier to hold and adjust the screen to get a direct view without glare.

Bottom Line:

If you are a professional or enthusiast who shoots in raw format, you'll probably agree that Flashtraxs raw support is better than Epsons. Epson needs to add the capability to view histograms and zoom on raw files which I'm hoping they will do in a future software update that owners can download. Shooting in Raw+jpg does work around this but wastes memory space. Most the time I only check my histograms while I'm shooting to see if I need to adjust settings so this isn't a deal breaker for me. You'll still love the P-2000 for it's great display and ease of use. Getting the Flashtrax or P-2000 is much cheaper than buying 40GB of compact flash cards and smaller and easier/faster to use in the field than a laptop. If you decide to go with the Flashtrax you'll be happy not to lug a laptop but learn to balance awkward devices in the field. If you need the capacity for 80GB the Flashtrax is your only option at this point. Nikon owners may look at the Coolwalker. Although I haven't owned one the P-2000s screen and flexibility to use with non-Nikon cameras (such as my Olympus point & shoot) gives it a big advantage over the Coolwalker in my mind. Plus on the p-2000 & Flashtrax you can view videos & listen to music too!

If you are an amateur you'll love the p-2000 since its a slick device to store/view thousands of photos, listen to music and watch quicktime movies on. I wouldn't get the Flashtrax since you don't need the 80GB file capacity to store thousands of jpgs or raw file features. The P-2000 is easier to use too.

The only problem is it's hard to find a p-2000 in stock due to demand or Epsons lack of production so if you are in a hurry, you may need to get a FlashTrax instead.

I had the need for a product that could be used for: 1. playing MP3, 2. dumping photos 3.Viewing photos and 4. Portable data storage. Along with the Archos products this was the only device which can do it all. I selected this because I prefer the "gameboy" design since it protects the screen well. In fact, I was so impressed with the specs that I was prepared to pay about $170 shipping(to south africa) and run the risk of losing it since there is no support outside US/Europe at all. It all paid off(so far). Fortunately it arrived intact and I have had the device now for 3 problem free months.

It plays music with exceptional quality and photo dumping from all card formats are a breeze with the very flexible optional adapter. TV connection also works well. The video only supports Motion JPEG MJPEG.AVI files. I have been able to look at .avi videos taken with a Canon camera successfully. However with a downloadeable translation tool from their web site, many other formats can be translated and it works. The translated video takes up a bit more space after translation. Since the device firmware can be upgraded, one hopes that they will come out with more video codecs. The only glitch i found is that the operating system can be very slow when you have large directories. With 40GB of dispace available, a directory can become too large very quickly. That requires a lot of organizing if you have lots of music to store. I also requested from the support people to confirm (before I ordered)whether I would be able to read a Memorystick Duo (with supplied adapter) but there was no satisfactory answer. Battery life is not great, about 3 hours when playing music only, but that should be expected for a device such as this. When only using it for dumping photos, it lasts for days.

A nice feature is that it can read .M3U playlists created on our PC and you can create playlists on the device itself.

An all in all impressive product which have given me countless hours of joy(so far) and I would recommend it for sure. In fact, I have not seen a device on the market yet for the price that can beat it.

I purchased FlashTrax two years ago and it worked great until I bought a new CF card. No where in the manual does it specify that the system is limited to 1GB and smaller cards. My 2GB card (common size now days) is not compatible according to support. Their failure to support larger card sizes is a major disappointment.

Want SmartDisk 40 GB FlashTrax Discount?

I bought it for 2 reasons. First, as a present for my wife to carry in her purse thousands of pictures of family & friends, and 2nd, as a place to store digital pix without having to lug my laptop around.

I ordered one from Amazon.com on Nov.22. (Standard supersaver shipping) I received the unit the next day! On the 24th I took it to work and opened the box. While the unit would turn on, the screen would not "light up", and the "reset" button broke and fell into the case. I went online and within 30 minutes had printed the return shipping (UPS) label, and requested a replacement.

I got it Tuesday (Nov 30), and opened the box this morning. This one works, and it's way cool.

I've already downloaded and updated both the firmware and the bootloader. Simple & easy.

Bright, big screen. Full resolution jpg's (1MB ea) take about 1 second to sequence. Plays my Nikon 5700's .mov files perfectly w/o conversion. Zoom, pan, EXIF display, histograms, etc. Create albums w/ timed sequencing. No complaints, yet. I'll update this review in time.

Needed: ability to delete while viewing full-screen!

Don't forget SmartDisk's $50 rebate.

I have own it for almost 2 years. This products deserves 4-5 stars when it works. My main use for it is to copy photos from digital cameras when I travel. Copying process is a bit slow but acceptable.

But I constantly have Blue Screen issues (turn on and get blue screen only). At that point the only way to fix it is boot firmware update from CF card. Regardless of every latest firmware updates which all claim to have fix the problem, it still remains a constant problem. And if you are traveling to out of the way places & w/out internet access, then you better have a copy of the re-boot firmware with you.

I just had the blue screen problem again. This time re-booting from latest firmware no longer fixes the problem. I called tech support. It will cost me $155+shipping to fix it and they guarantee the replacement part for $90 days. I asked if the Blue Screen issue will remain? He replied, "That will always remains an issue."

Don't get me wrong, this is an awesome buy. You won't find an iPad3 case anywhere on the market of this quality for this low of a price. The stylus works great and together it's a great combination. A stylus and case just like this one cost about 20 bucks a pop on SALE at the best buy near my house. So to get them both for less is awesome. The case is more flexible than I had hoped. It is firm enough to stand up, but I don't even want to bother rotating it because I have found it goes a little limp if I stand it up long ways. It is also difficult to rotate. But I truly only needed to stand my iPad up horizontally so it's not a big deal. The sleep mode feature works well and the iPad 3 fits great. Overall I can say I am satisfied! And thanks for the free gift :)

I want to note that the case has a smell when it first comes out of the plastic but it wears off within two days. No biggie!

I had looked around for a extended life battery for my phone, and this was the right price, and is exactly what I was looking for. The shipping was good.

Want OEM Motorola Q Extended Battery + Black Cover Door NEW Q Discount?

I'll be the first one to admit my old Motorola Q is in it's golden years. Harder to find quality pieces, and especially in my black colors. But, they had it, in stock, and brand new.

Phone running perfectly, again, and with a black cover. All that, without mentioning how much I saved on the price. Order with confidence, and enjoy.

After Verizon had no clue, I found my battery solution on line. And I wouldn't have thought of getting the new battery cover so I appreciate the bundle. Not as strong as my original long-life battery, but much better than a dead one. And so much cheaper than a new phone.

Red 360 Degree Rotating Leather Case Cover with Swivel Stand for Amazon Kindle Fire with Screen Prot

Red 360 Degree Rotating Leather Case Cover with Swivel Stand for Amazon Kindle Fire with Screen Protector + Stylus
  • Duel Layer hard interior cover and premium synthetic leather exterior.
  • Rotate 360 degree between horizontal and vertical position.
  • View Kindle Fire in multiple viewing or typing angles for both horizontal and vertical position.
  • This case is for 2011 Kindle Fire ONLY, does not fit 2012 Kindle Fire HD 7" or 8.9".
  • Combo include: one Kindle Fire case, screen guard(1 piece) and capacitive stylus pen(1 piece). Accessory ONLY Kindle Fire not included.

So far, this case has been great for my kindle. I chose this one because the kindle is encased in a hard case, instead of being held down flimsily by some elastic or something, giving more protection. I'm pretty tough on my electronics, and this case has managed to keep my kindle safe. I like the rotating feature, I use it quite a bit. The only time it's a bit tedious is when I'm just trying to hold my kindle to read; the front flap just hangs to the side and it's a bit cumbersome. Besides that, I have no complaints.

I haven't used the stylus much, but it seems to work fine.

I was very pleased with this case. i was worried something this inexpensive would have uneven quality especially in bright red. But it looks and works great. The stylus and the screen shields were a bonus.

I ordered this on my lunch Friday & it was waiting for me at home the following Wednesday. Very happy with the color & function of the swivel. There is not a place designed for the stylus, so you need to keep it in a handy spot. Seems to be durable. Have not put the screen protector on (cannot rate it as of yet). Overwhelmingly satisfied with this purchase.

I found this type of case protected my kindle fire and provided the versatility to have my screen rotate either direction without me supporting it. Reading or watching a movie it provided what I wanted and needed

The quality was good, the color pretty nice, not too bright or dark, just the right shade. I would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately it is too small for my kindle fire HD 7".
