BoxWave Acer Iconia Tab A700 mini Capacitive Stylus (Sparkle Edition) - Small Portable Acer Iconia T

BoxWave Acer Iconia Tab A700 mini Capacitive Stylus - Small Portable Acer Iconia Tab A700 Stylus w/ Tether and Rhinestone Detail Design
  • Works with all capacitive touch screens
  • Helps avoid fingerprints and smudges
  • Pocket-sized for added convenience
  • Durable and responsive tip
  • Adorned with shiny, diamond-like decorations

Pros: looks nice; high quality leather; folding cover protects the expansive Instinct screen real estate; handy pocket for the stylus, extra SD cards and any credit card size objects that you might to store; most buttons are accessible with the phone in the case(see cons)

Cons, of which there are only 2: firstly and less seriously, all the buttons and other features that need it have a cutaway in the case to access them except for the camera activation button this is no biggie as the button can be easily activated through the leather of the case; secondly, and much more seriously, the phone is not held securely in the case. The phone slides into the case at the top and will just as easily slide right back out if held upside down or if given a quick shake as I found out to my utter horror.

Phone survived. I am now much more careful when handling it.

USB Programming Cable for Baofeng UV-5R/ Wouxun UVd1P/ UV6D Two Way Radio

USB Programming Cable for Baofeng UV-5R/ Wouxun UVd1P/ UV6D Two Way Radio
  • Used for Baofeng UV-5R & UV3R+ Plus Handheld Transceivers, Also most TYT & Wouxun models with 2-pin "Kenwood Style" Speakermike connector.
  • Allows hookup to PC for Radio Programming (Optional Software & Drivers Required, not included)
  • Compact wire, USB to 2 pin.

The cable works on Linux (Fedora 15) for programming a BaoFeng UV-5R using CHIRP. No problems at all. Came up for me as a serial device on /dev/ttyUSB0. Once the TTY device was selected, CHIRP (20120614 snapshot version) detected the UV-5R. I was able to read from the unit and write to the unit with no problems. On the Linux, you may need to update permissions on the TTY device to use /dev/ttyUSB0 as a regular user.

I lost my Icom T2H somewhere between the grill & the garage during last summer's storm & wind season. Looked all over and then looked at replacing it. Very expensive loss. Not wanting to spend >$130 on a radio I might lose again, I wandered the web until I found the Baofeng UV-5R. Read a bunch of the snarky reviews, looked at the price and dove. Ordered it on Amazon through Sain. No problem. Less than a week later the radio was in my paws.

The Baofeng UV-5R is a great radio. Weather channels, police channels, 2m & 70m FM & a FM broadcast receiver. At something like $70 it was a good deal. (The manual, for want of a better term, is way below minimal. I had to cruise the Web for that info too.) So, price &c considered, I'm happy with the radio. It'll cover my storm fretting needs & maybe even survive Hamvention.

The software & cable, on the other hand, are a bit of a stretch. First off, according to one source (on the Wouxun.us [importer] website), the cable uses a Chinese fake of a Prolific chip. If you let Windows7 find the driver, it will discover the fake chip & disable the port it's hosed up to.

The CD that came with it appears to have data on it but my computer says it's blank or needs formatted. Nope. That ain't gonna work. (Tried it in another W7 machine & no go. Might work in a XP but mine has no CD hole.) Downloading the software from Wouxun is fine. Got the version for my machine & installed it. But then there's that W7 fake chip checker.

All that being said, and after taking a week off for Dayton Hamvention, I have revised this review as follows:

The cable will work with an XP machine. The software will install on either W7 or XP but the cable, for reasons listed above, will not work on an W7 computer.

The software is a bit clunky. The screen prompts are like the ESL voice prompts on the radio. English? Yes, but you know it ain't like Ma & Pa talk. You have to enter each frequency one at a time. No block copy & paste. There are start up defaults that you can mess with in the Option Features drop-down under the Edit menu. Took me over an hour & some of fiddlin' to get it set up & enter all 98 channels that I am set to use now (which is just about everything from 145.110 to 147.570 MHz). So yeah, it works. I can program the radio. (Be sure to use the radio's RESET ALL before you try to load from your computer.) And I can add PL & CTCSS data to the software's table & all that.

So the radio's still great. I like it plenty. And once I got it goin', the cable/software were good too. I'm happy now. We're cool. But it still bothers me that the cable won't work with W7 (without messin' with the drivers).

Thus the upgrade to three stars. (I'd go for 3.5 'cept there's no half a star increment)

I had trouble getting this cable to attach to the Baofeng radio to transfer data. Finally got mad and hit it, it has worked okay since then.

Had a little trouble at first. Need to install the driver ever plugging it in. If you get the order wrong, leave it plugged in, and uninstall it from the hardware manager... reboot with it unplugged, install driver, then plug it in. Mine came up and worked great with the configuration software and chirp programming software.

I am using this USB programmer on two Baofeng UV-5RA radios. I have had no trouble at all programming either radio. If you are running Windows Vista, 7 or 8, you will need to download the correct driver for the USB programmer to work properly (Windows XP doesn't seem as picky). I found a Windows 7 driver on the wouxun(dot)us website which, by the way, is a great resource for HT radios and such.

wouxun(dot)us / Software / Baofeng / Baofeng-Driver-Vista-Win7(dot)exe

Just take your time to a little research and make sure you install the correct driver BEFORE you plug the USB programmer into your computer.

Sony PEGA-MD700 CLIE Analog Modem

Sony PEGA-MD700 CLIE Analog Modem
  • Surf the Web and check e-mails effortlessly with your CLIÉ handheld
  • 56K Modem powered by AAA batteries
  • Package includes CLIÉ modem, USB cable, modular cable, CD-ROM, and operating instructions
  • Part of a complete line of SonyStyle CLIÉ accessories
  • Compatible with PEG-N and PEG-S series

I like to use my Palm device to do email on the road, so when I switched to the Clie, this was the first peripheral device I got. I've used it a number of times, and would say that it's the worst modem I used for a Palm device to date. My first gripe is that I can't hear the modem noise or any other phone communication like I could with other modems. Tried adding the modem command it said you needed for this, but still nothing. This can make it a little hard to tell if you are dialing a bad number on the road versus one that is just a little slow. The other main problem is that the battery life is pretty bad, and it's not always easy to tell if they are low or not. I often will have to change batteries a couple times over the course of a weekend of retrieving mail. On the positive side, it's nice that you can plug the normal AC adapter into the modem to power it and recharge your Clie as well. Overall, not a great modem, but does get the job done.

- Naztech N300 3-in-1 Cell Phone Charger for Motorola Droid A855 with Mini USB Cable and Micro usb CablesI stoked at the thought of this being so cheep and it working great, but it didn't. The flp-out plug in has to be placed just perfect for it to work, and the usb doesn't work for data transfer (but does for charging). The car charger feature does work so I don't feel completely ripped off.

Use for Palm Pre plus

No problems so far w/ this product for the Curve 8530. Comes w/ two USB cables to fit different phone models. Shipping was way over priced (almost $7 for standard shipping). Charges the phone roughly 10% every 20 minutes.

Black Rubberized Snap on Hard Skin Faceplate Cover Case for Htc Nexus One Nexus 1

Black Rubberized Snap on Hard Skin Faceplate Cover Case for Htc Nexus One Nexus 1The cover broke in about a week. The upper left corner snapped off right along the edge where the clips secure the 2 pieces together. I had purchased this cover when the previous one broke in the same place but only after I had taken it off a few times to get to the inside. I figured it really wasn't designed to be taken off that often. Also the picture shows a solid back (which is what I wanted) but the unit delivered had the square hole for the belt clip. The price was right though $2.92. I've ordered another one. Lets see how this one holds up.

Bought this thinking it would make my phone last longer but the quality if cover itself is bad. It just about fits Nexus One and within 2 weeks the edges broke off making it completely useless. One is better off with screen protectors.

I have an iPad 3 and just purchased the Belkin Thunderstorm. This surround sound device for the belkin thunderstorm is unbelievable. Music and movies come to life. I highly recommend this product!

Buy Belkin Thunderstorm Handheld Theater for Apple iPad 2 and 3rd Generation Now

This unit has great sound for movies and gaming, from such a small package, however, with mono broadcast, such as tv news etc, it sounds a little muffled. The volume is great, and the app lets you adjust the sound seperation, really does a great job. Now what I dont like, and I understand this is Apple's fault, is that it is in-convienent to charge your ipad, you have to remove the ipad from the Thunderstorm . Because of this, I may return the Thunderstorm. Just doesnt make sence that you have to remove to charge. And I would have prefered a usb charging cable, instead you get a big bulky charger.

Update 2-15-2013

Since I first reviewed the Thunderstorm, which was yesterday, Belkin has responded to inform me that indeed the ipad can be charged thru the case using the belkin supplied charger. Now this is a company that cares about thier products, responding to a review that fast. So I have changed my review to 5 stars and will not be returning the unit, in fact I will be ordering another, for my ipad 3, thank you Belkin.

The thunderstorm audio case rocks. No hassles, instant audio! The integrated, super loud speakers can fill up a room with great sound and no need for a blue tooth speaker. The iPad never sounded this cool.

Want Belkin Thunderstorm Handheld Theater for Apple iPad 2 and 3rd Generation Discount?

PROS much improved sound in a sleek unified unit, adjustable settings *****

CONS cover not durable, inaccurate set-up instructions, some sound artifacts ***

These speakers make me want to start watching movies and tv on my ipad. Seriously, once I set it up and heard a bit, I started looking for available movies which I had missed. Previously I found the ipad too weak of a player to be interested in online videos, but the results with this device are impressive. I really like the way this sleek case with multiposition cover becomes part if the ipad itself, making it so much easier to use and move around than other ipad external speakers. I don't mind the extra width needed for the speakers themselves, but if you carry it around a lot, the added weight could be annoying. Two+ people could easily sit together and watch something.

These speakers also do a great job with music, letting you hear more instruments with clarity, and bass notes, than with either the poor little built-in speaker, or earbuds.

MY CAT: was alternately captivated and frightened by the meowing sounds that came out of these speakers when I played some cat videos from youtube, which shows how much better the sound quality is (previously she has never been interested in cat videos before, either online or over-the-air on our tv). I tried to find technical specs on the Belkin site about frequency response (so I could compare it to my old audiophile equipment) but I couldn't find any; however the verizonwireless site's description of this product claims it is 40-20,000 Hz, with a signal to noise ratio of 91dB.

With the (non-required) app, you can set music source to either music, cinema, or gaming, for different sound qualities, and you have three degrees of speaker separation. Apparently lots of this is done through digital signal processing with a chip and amplifier in the device. As the sound channels are more widely separated, however, some echoing appears as an artifact (which some may enjoy).

ISSUES: Overall, I am really happy with this device, however:

Regarding design, when the cover is closed, the little Belkin charging light in the speaker area is covered (I am considering punching a hole). Also, though it is "smart cover style", it doesn't have the little magnet that automatically turns the ipad on and off as you open and close the cover (I am thinking of trying to add one myself). Additionally, if you need to connect to the ipad for some other reason (e..g camera connector, moving files to a laptop), you have to take it out of the case, not that big of an issue however. Otherwise it does a great job preserving access to all the switches and ports and cameras, and it is nice that it charges the ipad itself as well as the Thunderstorm speakers. (However, I am concerned that wattage is not optimized for the ipad and may cut battery life).

ETA: After little more than a week of use, the edge of the cover has started separating. This does not affect the great sound of this product, but is quite disappointing. It still works fine as a stand, but is a bit fussier to open.

Regarding documentation, they said to install the Thunder app (implying that it is necessary), then start using it. Well, once the Thunderstorm was installed and the app was opened, all it did was direct me to a web page of support info, which only told me how to mechanically install the Thunderstorm (which I had already done). It didn't tell me how to get from the app support page to actually allowing me to change the sound settings, and there seemed to be no way beyond this window. It took me a long time to contrive a way to make this work: leave the app, start playing a video in youtube, and then restart the app which finally realized that I already has the Thunderstorm installed, then finally it let me change sound settings. But it turns out that the app itself is not required to use the device, only to change sound settings -you can just install the Thunderstorm and start listening (without the options that the app offers). (It would be nice if settings could be changed in some way within the video playing, instead of having to leave the video and fire up the app.) And, as noted above, the only place I could find technical specs were on a third-party page. Belkin needs to be more accurate and complete with information both in the box and on the website (this may have improved by the time you are reading this).

Save 20% Off

I was very satisfied with the device. The speakers are very good and loud. I use it to show videos to a small group of nursing students (6). The sound is very good.

My only problem is the cover is not magnetized to put to iPad to sleep as the Apple cover does and sometimes I forget to put thew iPad to sleep and the battery is rundown.

Fosmon 2 in 1 Bundle for Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7" Inch Tablet Device- 1x Fosmon DURA S Series TPU Ca

Fosmon 2 in 1 Bundle for Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7' Inch Tablet Device- 1x Fosmon DURA S Series TPU Case , 1x Fosmon Crystal Clear Screen Protector Shield
  • Protects your Kindle Fire HD 7 from scratches and scuffs
  • Custom cutouts for direct access to all device features
  • Soft touch and non-slip coating makes it easy to handle
  • Lightweight and slim fitting design adds minimal bulk
  • Custom made crystal clear screen protector to fit the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7'

I love the case. Barely adds any bulk. Fits snugly on my kfhd. it's a nice cross between a hard case and silicone. the screen protector is horrible though. tons of bubbles that won't come out with the piece of flimsy plastic they give you to smooth it. my fingernails have been working better. otherwise, lines up great on the screen though... aside from bubbles probably easiest screen protector that I've put on. I'm hoping some of the bubbles settle out after a few days but it's not looking like it will.

Toshiba e740 Pocket PC

Toshiba e740 Pocket PC
  • Lightweight, thin Pocket PC with 64 MB RAM and 32 MB ROM and blazing fast 400 MHz XScale processor
  • Dual expansion capabilties: built-in CompactFlash and Secure Digital (SD) slots
  • 240 x 320 pixel TFT LCD screen displays more than 64,000 colors
  • Integrated Wi-Fi capability
  • What's in the box: e740, USB cradle, AC adapter, stylus, soft slipcase, quick-start card, warranty card, software

I used to own a Casio BOSS and loved it.

I had a Palm and loved it.

I had a Blackberry and loved it.

I had a Jornada 565 and loved it.

I bought the e740, and well... I hate it.

It was reassuring to read these on-line reviews, because it appears that everyone has the same problems that I do.

The sad thing is, at this point in time, there is no competition for the device. None.

If you want built-in Wifi, 64 megs RAM, and room for extra memory (SD card) AND have a free CF slot for GPS, Modem, etc., this unit delivers.

BUT what terrible design!

It's akin to a prototype that is not ready to be manufactured.

Some examples:

Battery Life One hour of wireless surfing! Terrible. This is a joke. It's so easy to run out of juice, even without wireless.

Speaker Worst of any Pocket PC I've seen.

ActiveSync Drops connections. Very disappointing. I've had more dropped connections in 1 week than in 2 years with my other PocketPCs.

Built-in features Severely lacking. Look at the Jornada.. you could program each button to do different things when they are held down for three seconds, and other such goodies. Not here.

Fragility Really bad. EVERY other PDA nowadays has some form of screen protector. Not this. It's only matter of time before something nasty happens.

Ergonomics Hard to hold. Not very comfortable. What a bizarre design. Awkward.

Speed VERY disappointing. Movies played FLAWLESSLY on my 565. They have TONS of dropped frames on the e740. So much for the 400MHz CPU!

CF Card Seems to be slower than the old Pocket PC's. Also a huge pain to insert. You actually need the stylus!! What's with that?

Record button BEWARE! As a volunteer ambulance tech, I keep this unit on my belt in a case, next to my cell phone. I went to use it midway through my 6 hour shift to write some patient info, and... the battery was DEAD! Reason? That darn record button kept getting hit on my belt. There is no way to disable it. I spoke to Toshiba today.

Software stability None. Seems like I'm always doing a hard reset for one reason or another.

Screen Not as bright as the others, and not uniform. Look closely at night. There is noticeable half-inch vertical striping.

Did I mention the Record button draining the batteries?

So, my bottom line advice to those people looking to buy a PocketPC.......:

If you NEED one now, go for it. However, you WILL be annoyed. You WILL envy your friends who buy one 5 months from now. You WILL agree with me that this is a work-in progress. But, like I said, there is simply no competition when it comes to two card slots and Wi-Fi.

If you already have a working device Please wait!! Please! I HAD to buy this one because I sold my Jornada. So I am pretty much stuck with this annoying Toshiba. But if you have a trusty Palm or Ipaq or Jornada.. W A I T ! Don't run out and but this flawed unit! Wait for "version 2.0"!!

I hope this review was helpful to you.

Buy Toshiba e740 Pocket PC Now

Having owned several PDAs (Sharp OZ-9500, 2 Palm OS Devices, a Cassiopeia A-11 (Windows CE HPC), and a Cassiopeia E-125) I find it difficult to become terribly excited when an new model hits the market. This unit is an exception

In a nutshell, the e740 lives up to its claims without a hitch.

Battery life is excellent with the WiFi disabled, and acceptable with it enabled (I haven't complely drained the battery and have ran the 802.11b and the frontlight concurrently for over 2 hours at a time), DHCP works nicely and I have no issues migrating between multiple access points.

Wireless synchronization seems to be quicker than through the USB cradle, and eliminates the need to buy multiple cradles if a WAP is available.

The screen is on par with the iPaq, wonderful outdoors, but is not quite as crisp INDOORS as my Casio E-125. (The E-125's screen is completely unreadable in bright sunlight)

The Windows Terminal Services client is an interesting novelty, but its usefulness is a bit limited due to screen size. It could, however be useful to connect and kill an errant process on an XP box remotely...

The performance is excellent, though it does not appear to be twice as fast as it's StrongARM competitors. Windows Media Player video is far superior on this device than any others, but not quite up to par with the claimed 30FPS from the ATI description of this unit's internal video hardware. (This might simply be that WMP does not support the video accelleration).

The unit seems sturdy, and is primarily metal. The application buttons are embossed, and well placed. The stylus is acceptable, but a bit difficult to remove from its holder. There is no cover on the bottom connector, though the cover on my E-125 is usually open anyhow.

The unit's only weaknesses are mostly superficial annoyances. The IR port is on the lower lefthand side and is easy to cover with your hand. The note/record button on the left hand side is the most serious design flaw, as it extends slightly from the case. I have recorded many worthless audio clips of ambient noise, random conversation, passing busses, etc, simply because of this questionable button placement. The speaker is a bit weak, but this seems true of all PPC 2002 devices, excepting the iPAQs. Also, pressing the thumbwheel no longer brings up the start menu as it did on the E-125 (perhaps a PPC 2002 issue), making it ultimately less useful. Otherwise, I find no real weaknesses.

Software compatibility is acceptable, as this PDA runs nearly everything intended for an iPaq, though some key mappings in games may need changes. Some games, such as Rayman will not run on this device yet due to the new video hardware, however, when games specifically for the new ATI chipset and the XScale processor are released, this will be the ultimate gaming PDA.

Overall, this is a sleek, quick, powerful and well designed device. Though I have typically favored Casio's devices, Toshiba has impressed me. I chose the e740 over the Sharp Zaurus ZX-5500, a tough decision since the idea of Linux and an integrated Keyboard on a PDA is quite appealing. Comparing with a coworker's Zaurus, I believe I made the correct decision.

The upcoming X-Scale iPaq, aside from its new transreflective screen, seems overpriced ($100-$200 more depending on bluetooth integration), clunky (it still has the form factor of the current iPaq 5800s, requiring a sleeve for CF), and still lacks the WiFi. Also consider, no insult intended, Bluetooth is generally useless due to its short range, and has generally flopped in the US market. If you really need it, there is an SDIO card for the Toshiba already available.

If you can justify the price, buy this PDA. If you are still clinging to your PalmOS device, borrow someone's PocketPC and you will realize that Microsoft's Department of Annoyance apparently overlooked the Windows CE/PocketPC world, and in comparison, the PalmOS devices seem like children's toys (even the high end Clie w/camera) -no insult or flaming intended (I loved my Palm III, but times have changed). This PDA outclasses its nearest competiton by a tremendous margin, and with only slight shortcomings has ushered in what seems to be the first in a new era of wireless PDAs.

I have just replaced my iPaq with the e740 and am delighted with it after a week of use. Here are the pro's:

1. Easy to set up the WiFi on both my home and school LAN's. Easy to use and great reception (better than my laptop).

2. The dual CF/SD slots are great. I still can't believe I have all that extra memory on such a thin device.

3. So far the battery lasts twice as long as my iPaq. I hope I don't experience some of the issues described by other reviewers.

4. It's the only device on the market that has all of the above and it has delivered on the criteria I used to buy it.

Now for the cons:

1. Record button is in the wrong place for use with a sleeve but I solved that by buying a flip top case since I don't like sleeves anyway.

2. The issue with using a Microdrive at the same time as the WiFi should be better explained. There was a single sheet warning not to use the 340MB microdrive with the device while the WiFi is turned on. I have a 1Gb microdrive so I ignored the warning. Since then the WLAN software has been a bit unstable but I don't know if that was an issue with it already or it was caused by the use of the microdrive while the WLAN was turned on.

3. The screen is not great but I only use it indoors and never read on it for too long at a stretch so I don't really mind compromising in exchange for the other functions.

All in all I am getting exactly what I expected out of this device with a few minor bugs which I hope Toshiba sorts out with the service patch.

I just picked up an e740 and I think it's awesome. I previously had Palm and Handspring and was going to get the new Sony Clie when I saw this thing. Apparently, CompUSA just received 2 of them that same day.

The screen is crisp and bright, and the chip is fast. Great features. I have not gotten the WiFi to work as I haven't been in an area with such service but it looked like it works great in the store with the demo model.

The only bad side was that it stopped syncing with Active Sync after a day or so. Tried different things and finally broke down to call Toshia hotline. Great service and a real live person picked up right away. Shocked! Had me back up and going in about 5 minutest. Defintely recommend if you can find one.

I read the reviews, thought I'd take a shot. Built-in WIFI was the seller for me.

Got the unit, and despite some of the reviewer's luck in using the wireless, I found it to be flawless. Worked beautifully, good range and good strength compared to my notebook computer.

Battery was the problem, though. It started out like the "good" reviews lasted a while (2 hours only used 25% of it w/o wireless), and with the wireless going, I could surf, remotely control my servers, or do email and messaging for over 2 hours and still have battery time left over.

Then suddenly it would go from full charge to 1% and give me warnings about imminent data loss. I contacted Toshiba Tech support, who made me jump through some hoops I had already jumped through on my own, and they offered to replace the battery. But they're backordered 2-4 weeks *minimum* wait. The battery issue is a *known* issue and isn't a guaranteed fix. There *is* no guaranteed fix for this known issue... So rather than wait to see if the battery fixed the problem, I'm returning the unit before it's too late.

Unit was great, but as long as Toshiba is pushing things out the door that they know are defective, it's going to be tough for them to compete.

Sportline 860 Reflective Sports Armband

Sportline 860 Reflective Sports ArmbandI bought the Sportline Armband from Wal-Mart (not knowing Amazon had it at the time of my impulse buying). This is GREAT for my 8GB Zen. My Zen is the size of a credit card and about 0.6 inches thick. I have my Zen inside of its silicone cover and then I slipped it snuggly inside of this Armband. The earphone hole lines up with the opening in the fabric. The USB hole doesn't line up with a hole, but I still fit mine in through the earphone hole and guide it to the USB connection...you can see it real good through the clear window.

The armband doesn't lay out flat like my other armband...it has an elastic joining piece so that when you put it on your arm it is secured as you pull the velcro together (no trying to pin it down with your arm while you tighten in order to not drop everything). It's so nice that I just keep my Zen in the armband. It also props up when it is not being worn, so I can watch the screen without holding the player. It has 2 pockets too...one zippered and one "hidden" velcro pocket. I put my headset in one and probably could put cash, key, I.D., etc. in each pocket too. The pockets are real roomy and everything is real stretchy and soft.

If I have to mention something negative...I noticed, when I was exercising at the gym, that a little moisture (from body heat) built up on each end of the Armband under the plastic window. This is after about 2 hours of straight exercise, though. It didn't damage my player...I just reached through the opening and wiped the moisture away. Not a big deal, and it doesn't get all over...just a little on the ends.

I like this product so much that I may buy another one for fear that they may stop making these for some odd reason...you know how that is when they have a good thing and then discontinue. Anyway, I hope my review helped you make a decision.

I found it difficult to strap to my arm, but I like the two stretchy storage pockets, one zippered and one with a velcro closure.

It was nearly impossible to attach this to my arm by myself. The velcro is on two separate straps that need to be overlapped. It should be designed to have one strap that runs through a loop and then velcros to itself.

I needed an armband for by Transcend player to use at the gym because the player came with just a silicone cover and a neck strap (talk about skimping on accessories!). This armband fits the bill. Things I like about it are:

easy to adjust armband with a stretchy strap that connects both sides to keep them in close proximity, making the Velcro easier to engage. It also adjusts large enough to fit my husbands 14" biceps.

two stretchy storage pockets, one zippered and one with a Velcro closure. Either one easily holds my JVC ear buds while still in the travel case.

central compartment easily holds my player while it is still in the silicone cover

it has an opening on the bottom of the main compartment to fit headphone jacks for most players.

The one drawback, the top of the main compartment does not have a closure. It is just a slot to slip the player into. If the band was shaken while upside down the player could slip out. This issue can be overcome by leaving headphones with an L connector plugged into the player at all times. Personally, I haven't found it to be much of an inconvenience.

I wonder if these come in sizes. The three i ordered were much too tight on my arm. I could only close the velcro if the pouch is empty. Obviously, there's no point in wearing this while it's empty! With an electronic device in the pouch, regardless of the size of the device, i could never close the velcro straps. I am under 6 feet tall, medium build. Maybe these will work fine for a petite little lady, but it's far too small for even an average male.

iConcepts USB Travel Kit for Compaq iPAQ (3800/3900 series)

iConcepts USB Travel Kit for Compaq iPAQ
  • Charge your Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC wherever you travel
  • Compatible with iPAQ 3800/3900 series Pocket PCs
  • Dual voltage travel charger works with any standard wall outlet
  • USB cigarette lighter adapter charges your iPAQ from any standard cigarette lighter in any vehicle
  • Four international adapters for use in UK, Europe, and Australia

This product is almost totally worthless. I had read some of the reviews, but thought the travel kit would be worth the price. The sync cable is very poorly designed. There is one adapter for sync and a separate one for charging. I've also tried the Belkin one, and at least it has a switch on the cable to go from sync to charge (bit it can't do both at the same time). The travel kit is also strangely designed. In order to change the plugs, you need to use this little wire device to push through a hole in the plug whenever you want to remove one plug and put in another. How much do you want to bet that the device will be the first thing lost or broken.

Buy the Gomadic cable instead of this one. The cable allows you to sync and charge at the same time (radical concept). ... They also have a travel kit if you need that.

I wish I had read the other reviews. I spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong with my IPaq, I now realize it was this darn cable. Now I have to go try to buy another cradle, I would not recommend buying this.

I tried this product on three different computers and I cannot get the USB cable to work. The standard cradle for my Compaq iPaq 3875 works fine on all systems. This cord is junk.

Want iConcepts USB Travel Kit for Compaq iPAQ (3800/3900 series) Discount?

This package of tools could be one of the best, all-around charging and sync solutions, however I cannot get the data sync cable to work. Under both Windows Me and Windows 2000, the PC side fails to recognize the iPAQ device attached via the USB cable. In both operating environments, I have no problem using the Compaq supplied cradle, attached via USB.

Worst of all, the Travel Kit comes with no instructions, no drivers or other software, and no references regarding how to get support from the manufacturer. Through some web searching, I believe that I have located the mfg., but the web site doesn't specifically offer any information about this item. I have sent emails hoping to get some answers, but, for now, this has been far more frustrating that it should be.

Have used daily for 3 months on HP5450. Works as advertised with no problems at all. Charged from wall, car and USB port with simultaneously sync capability when connected to a computer via activesync.

Red Mighty Nylon Jacket Slim Compact Protective Sleeve Bag Case with accessories compartment for Ama

Red Mighty Nylon Jacket Slim Compact Protective Sleeve Bag Case with accessories compartment for Amazon Kindle TouchThe construction of the case is very nice and it is perfect for keeping my kindle, cords, and power adaptor plugs organized. However, when you hold the case with the loop strap on top the zippered opening is on the bottom and carrying it by the handle makes it feel as if the kindle could fall out. Also, the photos provided for the item show a secondary bag for accessories. This bag was not included with the purchase.

BoxWave Slimline Apple iPad 2 Smart Case - Ultra Slim Shell Case for iPad 2 w/ Folding Stand and Bui

BoxWave Nero Leather Slimline iPad 2 Smart Case - Ultra Slim Shell Case for iPad 2 w/ Folding Stand and Built-in Sleep/Wake Magnetic CoverI bought this to replace an old polyurethane iPad cover that totally ripped and fell apart on me in less than a year. So i chose this one because the leather seemed more durable. The back fits like a glove, so you don't have to worry about the iPad ever sliding in or out of the sleeve. Its also nice that this provides coverage and protection for both the front and back, and also has the sleep/ wake fun tion. Seems like good quality, and can't beat the price . Is it a bit more heavy compared to the polyurethane kind, but hopefully because it is sturdier.

Loved the color of this and it did protect my IPad, but it did not stand up very well. It will do the job if I did not have anything else.

Sometimes things are too good to be true. This case looked like it'd be a cheap replacement for my increasingly fraying higher-end case. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. First, the stand just does not work. You can see from the pictures that it operates different from the Smart Cover and similar products. The cover of my case was too flimsy to actually hold the iPad 2. The reason for this is that the magnetism is not strong. Whereas on the normal folding covers, the magnets hold the cover and stand in place, this cover has virtually no magnetism. I was surprised to see that it did have magnets the sleep/wake functionality does work. But the magnets are not strong enough to hold the cover to the screen, either. The cover easily slid off of my iPad, making me wary of slipping the iPad into my backpack. Ultimately, spend a little bit more money on a higher quality case this one will simply not protect your iPad.

HP FA285A#AC3 Slim Battery for for iPAQ HX2000 and RX3000 Series

HP FA285A#AC3 Slim Battery for for iPAQ HX2000 and RX3000 SeriesI purchased this item for my HX4700 machine and the battery does not fit. I checked on the HP web site and saw that I need a different part number. I'm trying to get the thing changed out but since I purchased from the "used and new" link to save $20 I may be in for a battle. I blame Amazon for an incorrect title but we will see how it works out.

Everyone with an IPAQ needs a backup battery. This one is a perfect fit for my HX2495.

Like it, not love it! It is a great case, and it fit my 3rd gen ipod, but mine doesnt have a camera so I have holes that I dont need. But the feel of the case and the fit of the case are great! I can charge it on my clock charge station which is what I was worried about. It also was shipped in great time!

Don't expect a top quality case here, but for the money you cannot complain. This case offers enough protection for the occasional drop and has some fun artwork that my daughter enjoyed. Problem is that after a few months the artwork is coming off and little chips in the black make it look beat up. My daughter is hitting me up for a new case now, so be prepared to replace these a bit more often that a high quality case.

Fairly decent product other than it is difficult to remove without damaging it or distorting it. Not a big deal unless your daughter likes to switch between different cases.
