I have received this product after many wrong strayed shipments from Second shells, but finally i got what i have ordered.I have to say, that Second-shells have helped me a lot along this mailing dilemma..!!

for the case:

I have installed my transformer prime ee-pad and it has fit perfectly. With dedicated tailored cuts for charger, volume controls, webcam and rear cam.The case was made from a good -expected to last-fabric.And the package included the stylo pen and the screen protector, that's what have pleased me most.

I would rather preferred the addition of any pocket for 2 to 3 papers or cards ,cause the case holds the tablet and nothing but the tablet.

Was looking around for a cover for my transformer and this was one of the few which was reasonably priced and looked good. Bought 2 pcs a black and a copper coloured one. Item was shipped promptly and material was good. Overall will but from seller again.

Case was ok. Camera holes and cut outs in the correct place. Edges were not as wide as shown in photograph. Top edge, where the camera is locate has a void where it would be better if it was solid one peace. I guess it may have been designed so that a tablet can be slid either way, but that doesn't really work with the camera being there. I think the case may have been created for a different tablet and them modified for the Tranformer. My wife purchased a case works a lot better.

Screen protector worked fairly well. It arrived with a bent corner, probably bent when placed in the mailbox. I cut off the bent corner and it worked fine.

Stylus didn't work too well with the unprotected screen. Worked better with screen protection on. But tip is small and it required greater forced than a finger. Tip bends over too much and the metal scratched the screen. Good thing I had the screen protection on. I ended up purchasing a different stylus by Acase.

Overall its a fair price for a basic case and screen protection. My wife likes the stylus but I didn't.

Want Skinny® Folio Case & Cover || Copper || for Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 10.1" + FREE Stylus Pen Discount?

On the plus side it does have a hole for the charging cable so you do not need to remove the tablet to charge it. Also the cameras are completely unobstructed.

On the negative side the case was not packed well for shipping and arrived in a warped condition. It did straighten out with the tablet in it but the cover is still bowed outwards. Also cover's magnets don't do a great job of keeping it closed and it tends to flop about. Finally, while the tablet is secured by the velcro strap and does not seem like it will fall out at all, there is still some sliding that goes on with the tablet which does get a little annoying. Not the worst case out there but I am sure thre ae better ones.

As I already had a screen protector on my transformer I did not try the one it that came with the case.

On the whole, I consider this an experimental purchase that failed. I'd give the case three stars, minus one for the screen protector. The case is a decent budget case but has some significant aesthetic and functional drawbacks. The screen protector is not worth the time or effort. I'll be asking Aurum for a refund and will update my review once I hear back from them.

Purchase experience: Slow shipping. I ordered the Aurum case + screen protector combo pack for my Asus Transformer on a Friday and it didn't ship until the following Wednesday. Initially I received only the case. I contacted Aurum on a Saturday about the missing screen protector and received a reply within the hour promising that it would be sent on Monday by Priority Mail. It was, in fact, sent by First Class so I only received it at the end of the week.

The case: On the plus side, the cut outs are correctly positioned for the cameras and ports, and the cover is held shut by magnets. The tablet is secured with a velcro tab and it does not shift much inside the case. However, the case looks and feels very cheap and plasticy. The picture is somewhat deceptive as the brown color is actually achieved by scoring a plastic surface to give it a faux grain effect (as if some raked the cover with a tiny fork). The charge port is positioned on the inside edge such that you can only charge while the case is open. Also, the outside cover is rigid and does not bend with the rounded edges of the tablet. This makes the top edge (along the side with the cameras) lift up rather than laying flush against the tablet's screen.

The screen protector: Arrived with the protector (with protective film on both sides), a tiny cloth, and a small plastic tool for removing bubbles, but no instructions. My issue with the protector is that it had dust particles UNDER the protective film. I've put screen protectors on numerous mobile devices and I always do it in a bathroom after running a hot shower to fill the room with steam and remove dust particles from the air. Even in this environment, there were particles under the protective film and the only way to remove them was by scraping off with a fingernail. This inevitably left tiny fingerprints on the protector, and in any case it was impossible to remove all the dust particles. Very poor quality control to have dust under the film. The cutouts were properly positioned but they are just large boxes notched along the edge of the protector rather than round holes.

UPDATE: I received another lightning fast reply from Aurum after sending an email through Amazon, offering to send me a new protector. I really appreciate this kind of customer support even if the product isn't what I'd hoped. I'd certainly consider buying from Aurum again if they were to offer higher quality options in the future.

Motorola Droid Razr Maxx Leather Case - Book Type (Purple) - PDair

Motorola Droid Razr Maxx Leather Case - Book Type - PDairI love the case. It is exactly what I wanted, however I didn't believe the stated delivery date as it was a month away. It came a few days earlier than promised, but it almost took a month. I am pleased now that it got here as it is very good quality and was what I was looking for.

My wife wanted a case similar to mine, and this is one of the limited options for the book-cover style of phone cases for the droid RAZR maxx. She loves it. It is a little bulky, but not overly so. Highly recommended for tossing into a purse. It took a few weeks to get from hong Kong, but the wife is happy and she thinks it was worth the wait.

BoxWave Kindle ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) - Fits the newest Kindles - Kind

BoxWave Kindle ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector - Fits the newest Kindles - Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Touch 3G, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle Keyboard 3G, and Kindle 2nd GenerationLoving my Kindle 2, I was seeking a product to provide adequate protection for its all-important screen. BoxWave's claim is that their screen protector is "the perfect blend of anti-glare and optical clarity". Hoping that this was true, I carefully read the instructions on the ClearTouch packaging. They are very straightforward, providing five detailed steps for the installation of this screen protector.

I cleaned the screen with the provided lint-free cloth, peeled off the backing of the screen protector, and carefully aligned the ClearTouch with my Kindle screen. Amazingly enough, the ClearTouch acted like a "smart" protector and settled perfectly to the screen area.

One issue that arose was a few initial bubbles under the ClearTouch. These disappeared once I followed the package instructions and pressed the bubbles out with the included applicator card. Being a bit inept at this sort of thing, I had also managed to get a few specks of dust on the screen. I removed the ClearTouch, washed it per the instructions, and reapplied. There were some water bubbles, but again, these were easily removed.

My overall experience with BoxWave's ClearTouch has been a positive one. Any issues with bubbles are fairly easy to resolve, and I love how the ClearTouch is so unnoticeable! I would strongly suggest this screen protector for anyone who truly loves their Kindle.

*** UPDATE 2011-10-05 ***

This ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector will fit the screens on:

Kindle 1

Kindle 2

Kindle 3/Keyboard Wi-Fi

Kindle 3/Keyboard 3G

Kindle (Latest Generation)

Kindle Touch Wi-Fi (Latest Generation)

Kindle Touch 3G (Latest Generation)

All these Kindles have the exact screen dimensions.

---

I have a 1st Generation Kindle and this ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector is a *perfect* fit.

First off, to address complaints about trapped bubbles, all screen protectors will potentially leave some bubbles behind no matter what. You will not find a screen protector that doesn't. With that said, the Boxwave Screen Protector is the best screen protector money can buy. I have been using the Boxwave brand of screen protectors for years for all my electronic gadgets and I've been extremely happy with them. They're pricier than most other brands of screen protectors, but they're well worth it. They are *very* high quality screen protectors you really *do* get what you pay for! I was trying to save a few buck$ by getting one of these for my Kindle boy, was that a mistake! I ended up tossing it out and getting this Boxwave screen protector instead.

Pros

----

Fits both 1st and 2nd generation Kindles

Anti-glare

The anti-glare surface is at least as anti-glare as the original Kindle screen.

Protects screen from finger smudges, scratches, dirt, and other undesirables

The screen protector serves an important purpose even though the Kindle doesn't have a touch screen. Having a screen protector on the Kindle gives me more room to grab on to the Kindle. I like to grab on to my Kindle without having to worry about inadventently leaving prints on the screen or scratching the screen.

Lasts a long time

The screen protectors are very durable and will probably last the life of your Kindle. Since the Kindle doesn't have a touch screen, you will not be wearing the screen protector out by tapping on it with your finger or with a stylus.

Invisible

You can't tell there's a screen protector on your Kindle if you've properly applied the screen protector.

If you decide to remove the screen protector, it will not leave a sticky residue behind.

Cons

----

Leaves bubbles

To be fair, *all* screen protectors *are* going to leave trapped bubbles behind. I have two minuscule bubbles trapped in my screen protector but these are hardly noticeable, especially when the Kindle is turned on. Don't fret if you have a bubble or two trapped in the film. These typically diminish or disappear over time. The included plastic card and microfiber cloth will help in removing any bubbles.

Pricey

But you do get what you pay for! The Boxwave screen protectors are about the best quality screen protectors I've ever seen.

Tips

----

First align the screen protector with one side of the Kindle screen (left or right, depending on whether you're left-handed or right-handed), ensuring that the film is not slanted. SLOWLY lower the screen protector from one side of the Kindle, all the while making sure you carefully monitor the alignment of the film to ensure it isn't slanted. AS SOON AS you find that it's been misaligned, peel it off right away and restart the process. The film has a certain amount of rigidity to make it easy to work with (it has the rigidity similar to that of a transparency film). As you lower the film, push out any trapped bubbles. If you made a botch of the application, use a piece of scotch tape to pull the one corner of the film up so you can get a handle on the film to peel it off completely. Start over. A small plastic card and a microfiber cloth is included to help you smooth out the film.

Thoroughly clean the screen before you apply the screen protector. Use a Swiffer duster or the included microfiber cloth to clean off any dust on you Kindle. Don't be lazy or try to cut corners any specks of dust that get stuck on to the screen protector will be almost impossible to remove! (I use a Swiffer duster and some cotton balls soaked in alcohol to clean my screen before I apply the screen protector).

Some people suggest that you use a pin to prick the bubbles. I wouldn't recommend it since you risk damaging you screen. (It would be rather ironic, wouldn't it, if you damaged the screen while you're trying to protect it?). Like I've mentioned, the trapped bubbles typically diminish or disappear over time anyway.

---

The Boxwave Anti-Glare Screen Protectors are the best screen protectors you can get for the money. The problem with trapped bubbles is a problem inherent in all screen protectors and shouldn't deter you from getting the Boxwave Screen Protector. Be sure to observe the application procedures outlined above and you'll be very happy with the results!

Ok. I admit it. I am anal when it comes to scratches on my techno gadgets. Having said that, after recently receiving my Kindle 2, I was worried that the screen might get scratched. I ordered this directly from the manufacturer. I didn't realize Amazon sold it, but that is besides the point.

I love it. It installed just as instructed. I have a tiny, tiny air bubble at the bottom of the screen that refuses to go away. Other than that, you don't even notice that it is there. My mind is at ease :-)

After reading several negative reviews, I did not plan to buy this screen protector, and in fact, I bought a different one. However, one of these screen protectors came with the silicone skin that I also bought, so I decided to try it. It went on easily and works just fine. The other protector that I had deliberately bought remains unopened in my Kindle case as a backup.

Bubble-free application is easy, but you have to take some care. There are two steps to a bubble-free application: cleaning the Kindle screen and applying the protector properly.

(1) Clean the Kindle screen before you apply the screen protector. I cleaned my Kindle's screen in two steps. First, I dusted it lightly with a lint-free cloth. Second, I sprayed it with a small amount of lens cleaner for eyeglasses and then wiped that off.

(2) Apply the screen protector. The screen protector comes sandwiched between two clear films. Each film has a tag sticking out, one of which says "1 Back" and the other of which says "2 Front". (Some early reviews say the two films were not identified, so apparently these tabs have been added since the screen protector first appeared on the market.) The "back" side goes against the Kindle screen, and the "front" side faces you after the screen protector has been applied. So, you peel off the protective films in numerical order. Start by peeling off the film with the "1 Back" tab. That uncovers the clingy surface that will go against the Kindle screen. Be careful not to touch that surface with your fingers lest you get hand oils or dirt on it. Hold the screen protector by its edges and align its bottom edge with the bottom edge of the Kindle's screen. Gradually let the protector fall against the screen, moving from bottom to top, by pressing it and lightly rubbing it with the card applicator that comes with the screen. You may have to pull off the last millimeter or two if you get a bubble and then push it back down. Work your way all the way to the top. You should end up with no bubbles. You then can peel off the film on the other side ("2 Front").

Note that the screen protector is somewhat stiff. That makes it easy to apply, but it also means that if a tiny speck of dirt gets between the protector and the screen, the speck will hold the protector off the screen well around the speck itself, resulting in a very noticeable bubble. If you get a speck under the protector, peel the protector back far enough to reveal the speck and then lift off the speck by touching it with the sticky side of a piece of adhesive tape wrapped around your finger. You can use the protective film you peeled off the protector to lift the corner of the protector so that you don't touch the protector's sticky side with your finger.

The package for the screen protector says it is removable and washable. The protector has no adhesive on it. It is just a very sticky plastic. It therefore is easy to remove. Just peel it off. Because there is no adhesive, I presume both sides of the protector can be washed, but I don't know for sure. You can clean specks of dirt off the sticky side of the protector by pressing the sticky side of adhesive tape against the protector and lifting off the dirt. I did that with a makeshift protector I made from the original protective film that the Kindle came with. It worked fine with that film, so I presume it will work with this much heavier protector.

By the way, that makeshift protector had quite a few small bubbles under it, but they made no difference to the readability of the Kindle. My experience is that bubbles are more esthetically displeasing than a serious interference with function. Also, the makeshift protector was shinier than this dedicated protector, yet I had no trouble reading the Kindle even in bright sunlight. Glare seems not to be a practical problem.

This protector is an excellent product.

Want BoxWave Kindle ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) - Fits the newest Kindles - Kind Discount?

Absolutely impossible to apply without bubbles, dozens of them. Far more glare than the plain screen too, so you end up with a much more difficult to read kindle.

Buy a case and put it in immediately after using and you won't have to worry about scratches. Don't waste your money on these "protectors".

And don't believe the "easy to apply" "no bubbles if applied correctly" because these are obviously written by paid reviewers. No one out of the dozen friends who have tried this have been able to apply one without a minimum of 15 bubbles. They can't be worked out without scratching and damaging the plastic either.

BoxWave ClearTouch Apple iPad mini Screen Protector (2-Pack) - Premium Quality Screen Guard to Shiel

BoxWave iPad mini ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector - Premium Quality Anti-Glare, Anti-Fingerprint Matte Film Skin to Shield Against ScratchesI put the film on OK but the sticky glue from the paper tab was left on the front of the screen protector. I tried both of them and threw them away.

Anti-glare effect no so great but quite enough. A little bit harsh to install without any dust : the home-button hole makes it hard to remove the film because of the angle of the peeling, but since there is a second one for less than a single one from other vendors, it makes up for it.

  • Slip your cell phone in from the screen window to add a splash of color and deliver instant all around protection from scratches.
  • Constructed from smooth, treated silicone that resists dirt and stains.
  • Unique design allows easy access to all buttons, controls and ports without having to remove the skin.
  • Accessory ONLY. Phone not included.Compatible With Palm: Pixi CDMA / Eos CDMA / Pixi GSM / Castle / Eos GSM / Palm Pixi Plus.

I wanted an inexpensive case that I could easily slip on and off. I just bought an inexpensive Pixi+ along with the Palm charger, so I wanted to be able to take the case off easily for charging and not pay a lot when it's an older, cheaper phone. So far so good. However, it's possible that it might stretch and no longer fit the phone as well. Other than that, it seems to protect the phone okay as opposed to not having a case.

I bought this one after my other one pretty much broke. It wasn't as good as this one either. This fit the phone nicely, snug, and certainly provides very good protection for shock. Also works good as a non-slip case. Put in on the dash of the car and it won't slide around! Bottom line, I love it for the money. And it's easy to remove if you have to take the phone apart for any reason. You won't be dissapointed!

Nothing exciting to say, but I've had this on my phone for four months now, and no problems. Fits, performs as expected, feels nice.

This case is a great buy for a great price and when I got my pixi it was way too small so I got this case and it bulked it up fantastically also if you don't drop your phone from too high this will be more than enough for you.

It was really difficult plugging the USB into this charger. I should have stopped, but was in a pinch and needed my iPad. When I tryed to remove the cord however, it wouldn't budge. As I worked it as gently as possible, the wires in the cord broke and now no longer works. Very disappointed and will be returning this (with my cord still in it). It did however, charge my iPad2.

I received it very quickly; that's about the only good thing about this product. It is not an authentic Apple charger. You can tell by the cheaper plastic and the pinch marks from when the product was pulled from the mold. It just has a lower level of quality than an Apple product would. They have clearly aimed to deceive the consumer with this product.

To top it all off--It doesn't work; Apple products actually work when they are plugged in.

Want Apple iPad / iPad 2 10W Wall Home Charger Adapter Discount?

When plugged in alone it is quiet, but when charging a product it "hisses". Now concerned about a fire hazard.

Only charges iPhone and iPod not iPad. Some kind of aftermarket charger that iPad doesn't accept. I wish I would of just bought one from the apple store.

GE SmartSecurity Remote Touchpad (GEWSECTPD2)

GE SmartSecurity Remote TouchpadIt was easy to install, once I reviewed my alarm system installation docs along with the instructions on the remote touchpad. Comes very handy if you cannot place your alarm panel next to your exit door, or if you have multiple exits from your house. Just attached it with velkro on the door, so it doesn't get lost. Even though it is not listed as such, it seems compatible with my Simon 2, and it was more affordable than the other options.

PalmOne P10974U 128MB Memory Expansion Card

PalmOne P10974U 128MB Memory Expansion Card
  • Easily store an extra 128MB of music, photos, videos, e-books and software
  • Compatible with Tungsten Series, Zire Series, m Series (except m125), and Treo Series

This card is nothing more than a MultiMediaCard (MMC). There are many options out there for purchasing MMC. Also, SecureDigital (SD) cards are fully compliant with the Palm Pilots for which this memory card is being marketed. At the time of writing this review, this was among the most expensive of comparable cards. In fact, yesterday at a local retailer I saw a 512MB (4x the capacity) for five dollars more.

So my advice is that you do purchase expansion cards to take full advantage of the power of your Palm. I have purchased many and am able to use my Palm as an MP3 player (using RealOne), a video player (using Kinoma), an atlas (using Mapopolis) and a video game system (using PalmOne Sega Classic cards and downloaded games) all at the same time. Do buy SD or MMC cards to expand, but I would encourage you to comparison shop, looking for better prices.

Duracell DRINVP100 100W Pocket Inverter with 2.1 Amp USB Port

Duracell DRINVP100 100W Pocket Inverter with 2.1 Amp USB Port
  • Converts 12-volt DC power from your vehicle battery into 120-volt AC electricity
  • Fast 2.1 amp USB charge port to charge iPads, Kindles and other power hungry USB products
  • High quality cooling technology reduces perceived noise level by up to 50 percentage versus competitive products
  • DC cable with vehicle adapter included
  • Three-prong AC outlet to handle all chargers and adapters for mobile electronics

None of these cheap inverters produce a nice AC waveform. They tend to produce square waves, and this device even says that it has a "non-sinusoidal" waveform. This can actually damage some electronics. Be sure to read the owners manual.

Cons:

Only 1 USB port

Only 1 AC port

Pros:

Compact and works well enough for small devices (read warnings in manual about devices not to use it for).

Bottom Line:

They really hampered this by not putting at least 2 USB ports on it, as some cars have only 1 12v outlet up front by the driver, so if I need to plug in two cell phones to charge, this doesn't help me unless I use the AC adapter for one of them. I had some odd behavior with the AC port as well, my touch screen wouldn't respond on my phone when it was plugged into the AC port. Probably related to the poor AC waveform. Powering my small devices it is cool and quiet. It didn't get warm or anything.

We go camping a lot, and we like to take our iphones and ipads. This is state park camping, not serious camping. Normally we don't have power on camp outs so we charge iphones in the car, etc. but that's a time consuming thing. This adapter plugs into your car's power port (once called a cigarette lighter) and gives you both a usb and a regular 3 prong ac port (like you have at home). We were able to charge the iphone via the usb port and the ipad via the power port with no problem. The device gets a little warm but it has vents to expel the hear. Also, it's very rugged and sturdy and has a user replaceable fuse. It also says it has an auto power shutoff in case of a surge.

We also recently used this at the drive in movies to power a boombox, worked like a charm. I would be careful about using it without the car running as it might drain your battery but we didn't run into problems.

Well done Duracell! Let the hurricanes come (not really).

Put simply, this inverter turns your car's cigarette lighter into a three-prong outlet (for electronic device that use 100 W or less). In addition to the outlet it also has a USB outlet.

The usefulness of the inverter are clear: it saves you from needing an adapter for each one of your electronic devices that you want to use in the car -it's one stop shopping. Anything with a two or three-prong plug can plug into it.

The inverter is small enough that it can easily fit into a glove box (taking up about as much space as a GPS) or into your computer bag.

During use I didn't notice anything unusual about the operation. Despite the fan it runs pretty quietly.

My one complaint is that the chord that goes into the cigarette lighter is so short that the inverter cannot reach the back seat or rear of the car. That means passengers are dependent on the people in the front of the car to plug and unplug devices. I took off one star for that.

Recommended.

I've never had such a device before and I must say that it is VERY handy! It does exactly what it is supposed to charge products such as iPads, iPods, etc. while travelling. If there is any noise generated by this device I certainly didn't hear it. I love how it is nice and small (easily fitting into a purse or briefcase).

There isn't a lot to say about this Inverter other than it works. I use it in my car to charge my IPhone and run my laptop (not while I'm driving of course) and it has no problem providing the necessary power. There is a small cooling fan that is so quiet I can barely tell that it's running and the inverter is small enough to fit into my pocket. How cool is that?

NanoTM Wand Ultraviolet Disinfection Scanner

NanoTM Wand Ultraviolet Disinfection Scanner
  • Tested by ETL
  • 185-365nm emissions
  • Kills E. coli, staph & salmonella
  • 300 scans per battery set
  • 10 second auto-timer

I thought this would be a neat little contraption to take out to dinner or use at work... But for the most part, I just look like a crazy novice forensic scientist looking for traces of ... well whatever on glasses and silverware, phones and keyboards.. etc.. I have no idea if its working or not. Its just a tiny little led type light.. The directions tell you to wave the light over the surface for 10 seconds... and i thought, directly over? or just hovering above? The difference is about 20 minutes worth of time waving this magic wand over each nook and cranny of said surface... I just don't like it.. its a cool idea.. but I wouldn't buy it again if I could have a do-over.

Performed as advertised, makes it easier to hold the ipad.

The stand works great in portrait and landscape.

Great product but on the expensive side.

I was quite satisfied with my i-Circle case for the first couple of months: light weight, very little extra bulk added to the iPad, and the stand / grip was incredibly useful ... exactly what I had been looking for.

What changed my mind about it?... when my iPad feel from a low coffee table (just a bit over 1' high had it setting flat on the coffee table charging, my dog got tangled in the cable pulling the iPad off and onto the floor). The i-Circle was worthless in protecting my iPad from even such a low fall the corner of the i-Circle shattered on impact resulting in a small dent in that corner of the iPad. Besides not protecting my iPad, the broken corner piece left very sharp edges.

I have since found the same functionality and much better protection in the Speck HandyShell Speck Products HandyShell for New iPad 3 and iPad 4 Black/Dark Grey SPK1207

I am quite certain that had I had the Speck HandyShell on my iPad when it fell from the coffee table it would have been a non-event... no damage to either the case or the iPad.

So, the i-Circle is a great idea... but, not that great at protecting your iPad from even short drops.

3M 497AJM 120V Portable Electronic Vacuum Cleaner

3M 497AJM 120V Portable Electronic Vacuum Cleaner
  • Toner/Dust Filter

I do a large portion of my IT work on the road, visiting clients at their offices and homes.

Pros:

These vacuum is part of my mobile tool kit, and works great for this purpose especially considering that all of the attachments, power cord, and hose fit into the upper portion of teh case leaving you with a nice small portable toolbox shaped item.

This vacuum has a surprising amount of suction.

The vacuum was built by 3M for their own people to use and specifically designed to vacuum things such as Toner (which is one of the finest and messy particles that you will run into, you don't want this stuff blowing out the other end of the vacuum!).

This vacuum was also designed from the ground up to be used with sensitive electronics. It contains features to prevent static build up that can take place while vacuuming.

Very good containment of vacuumed material in the disposable filter/collection bin.

CONs:

Be aware that this vacuum is fairly loud. This is not normally an issue, but you wouldnt want to turn it on next to someone taking a nap or talking on the phone. In my case, I have to make sure I really let everyone know around me that I will be using it. I have also used the Metro Datavac Pro 2 and will say that the ONLY thing I like better about that vacuum is that it is quieter than this one.

This is an expensive vacuum, and it does use expensive cartridges. I put this as a CON, however I do feel that the costs is worth the benifit of this great vacuum.

Neither of the CONs is worth a star deduction in my opinion.

If you are mobile with this vacuum, you may also want to carry an extension cord --I have had to use my extension cable about 50% of the time in the field, much better to be prepared for that need than not!

...and I mean that in a positive way. This item was purchased for use in servicing commercial electronic equipment. Works fine so far. Excellent quality hose, the best I've seen. Only question: What's with the photo of clog-like foot apparel? These 'accessories' were not included with my vac, which was, by the way, mercifully simply and economically packaged.

I was skeptical since the last couple different brand vacuums didn't have very good suction. This 3M vacuum has very good suction and is a great kit because all the attachments fit in the case.

Want 3M 497AJM 120V Portable Electronic Vacuum Cleaner Discount?

If you're looking at this, you already know that compressed air just moves dust around. You want something that removes it from your computers and other electronics.

For the past 10 years, I've been using whatever I had around to vacuum PC cases. Small car vacuums, the hose attachment on my Dyson ball, etc. To me, it was hard to justify spending hundreds of dollars on a regular vacuum for my house. So when I saw this product on Amazon, I skipped right past it. ~$200 for a vacuum that I'll only use on electronics?

But the cheaper alternatives on Amazon had pretty bad reviews. So they didn't seem like an improvement over what I was currently doing.

So I took the chance and bought the 3M. When it first arrived, I opened the case and thought "Oh no." I had the vacuum, but no hose, power plug, or attachments. For $200 I shouldn't have to buy these extra!

But it turns out, it's not really advertised in any of the pictures I see posted (so I'll post one of my own after this review), that the lid of the case, when it opens, contains a door that's held shut by a small strip of velcro. You remove the slip, the door opens, and everything's there. This alone is starting to make the $200 worth it for me -the convenience of the design. When closed, the vacuum is basically a closed toolbox with a handle on top. Everything you need is contained in there -nothing can be forgotten, fall out, etc. This makes it great for transporting it in your car, or carrying it around your building. There's actually a little extra room in the top lid so you can stash a philips screwdriver in there too, or any other small items you feel you might need when using this.

I plug it in and start cleaning, and I'm able to get every single bit of dust out of this computer. When using my other makeshift electronic vacuums, they had no problem getting the big chunks of dust that are highly visible and accessible. Vents, edges of the case, etc. were no problem. But they often left behind surface dust, so they still looked dirty. And some areas I couldn't get at all. The attachments you get on car vacuums and floor vacuums are meant to get in the corners of your house and car... but not in the corners of a small case.

But this 3M vacuum has a flexible enough hose and plenty of attachments to not only get the stuff you originally got in there to get, but also all of the surface dust. It makes things look brand new when you're done with them. You can get in-between PCI cards and RAM modules, get the dust within the individual fins of heatsinks, off the blades of fans, etc. If you can see it, you can get it. About the noise... it's about the same as the vacuums I've used before. It's not something I'd use at night when people are sleeping, and the pets still run when I turn it on... but it's about as loud as a vacuum is expected to be and nothing more.

I've only used it once, and that was my experience. Down the road I may update this review as I use it more often but it seems perfect. The only thing I'd change is to make the manual slightly thinner so it fits up in the lid instead of on the top of the white plastic box. It's not like I opened it before I started cleaning or anything, though. You can probably leave that out of the case if it bothers you too much.

Got this vacuum in May 2012. Still sucking with the best of them. And for $200+ for an electronics vacuum I would hope so...

rooCASE Neoprene Super Bubble Sleeve Case for HP Pavilion dm1z 11.6-Inch (Black / Neon Green)

rooCASE Neoprene Super Bubble Sleeve Case for HP Pavilion dm1z 11.6-InchI bought this for my HP DM1-4000...

it fits okay but not well because of the curve shape of the notebook itself. So one end will always have a tighter end than the other

the pocket is great for little things like a small notebook and pen (if you're in school). Putting the power adapter in there is unwise and will make the case very bulky

the case isn't thick itself, and the main reason I bought this is because my backpack is roughly for 13'' to 15'' laptops. Having this case would protect the dm1 more than anything else since the dm1 has pretty flimsy plastics

you can get a case for around $29.99 at a local store, and mostly it's not as good as this

like another review said, it's NOT drop-proof

This sleeve is great!

It holds my HP Pavilion dm1-3245ca (dm1 in Canada, dm1z in USA 11.6" screen) very well, without forcing it at all inside.

The sleeve is slim (no outside handles to make it looks like a bag or something similar) and it still manages to have shock absorbing bumbs on the inside for additional protection.

This is NOT a drop-proof bag! People need to understand the actual purpose of each product.

This is a SLEEVE which has the primary function of scratch-protection and it offers an additional small shock absorbing (because even in a backpack, an netbook/laptop could be damage.

It is of great quality for the price...don't bother to buy a 80$ bag for a netbook, I find that ridiculous...

This product does what it does and is not over-priced. PERFECT!

This product does exactly what I wanted it to do, my 11.6 inch HP netbook fits inside perfectly. There is enough room in the pocket for the charger and a portable wireless mouse, although it becomes pretty bumpy with those things in the pocket. There is a good amount of padding, I feel comfortable that it is protecting my computer. Good quality, well made, seems like good quality materials usedI'm very satisfied.

JAVOedge Poppy Flip Style Case for Barnes & Noble Nook Color / Nook Tablet (Sunny Yellow) - Latest G

JAVOedge Poppy Flip Style Case for Barnes & Noble Nook Color / Nook Tablet - Latest Generation
  • Coated canvas cover maintains cover
  • Fits the Nook Color or Nook Tablet

I have ordered a nook color case from Barnes and Noble and was extremely disappointed. I returned it and purchased this one instead and couldn't be more happier. It is waterproof and the nook color fits perfectly. I love that the case flips open instead of opening like a book. It is easier to use when reading in bed. No need to remove it ever from the case. Stand works perfectly and even when held upside down the nook will not fall out. Magnetic closure works great. Perfect product!

I purchased this case for my wife to put on her nook as a christmas gift. She is very happy with it. The outer material feels like a nylon based material that would repel spills and water. There are speaker holes in the back, you just have to make sure the kick stand is open if you want to hear your audio. The only thing I wish it had was an extra kick stand to set it on horizontally. It will not stand on its own when you set it sideways, but I knew that when I bought it. Good quality product though. Would not hesitate to buy.

Love the pattern. Fits perfectly. Cover is water resistant. You can't access the SD card when the nook is in the case and the cover does muffle the sound slightly, but other than that it's a great buy. Better than the options in Barnes and Noble.
