Acer is an often forgotten brand of laptop, however I have owned and used HPs, Dells, Toshibas, and Asus and Acer tops them all. This computer has the best touchpad, a decent keyboard, good screen, and excellent sound quality. It is fast and will process nearly all programs with speed. Great buy.

We live out in the sticks, and when we finally got reliable 3G broadband and a wireless network set up, I was ready to no longer share the 2 year old computer with the rest of the family and get a laptop of my own. I use this laptop mainly for my home office: word processing, spreadsheets, internet, photo editing, and a few specific programs. I've found this unit to be a very reasonable tool for these functions.

This laptop is lightning fast, has plenty of memory, decent graphics/sound, and seems well constructed. I've read a couple of reviews that mention slow start ups, but I have not found this to be the case. I agree that Windows 8 has a pretty big learning curve for the first few days ("intuitive", my left foot!), but after some initial frustration I was able to navigate through the program screens rather easily. I find I still favor the "classic" laptop homescreen, but since Win 8 is app driven, that may be part of why you can have so many screens/tiles open and working with no speed lag. I also really like that the function shortcuts are printed on the keys in blue so I'm not constantly looking them up until I memorize them. I am not a fan of touchpads, so I like being able to quickly disable it with just a keystroke and turn on my wireless mouse instead. Bluetooth connected to all my other devices (wireless speaker, wireless headphones, my Droid X) without missing a beat. Again, noticed no loss of speed or data with multiple connections active.

Just a couple of things that bug me:

1. The CD drive is pretty flimsy. The first time I inserted a DVD to try out the graphics, the DVD did not stay in the tray.

When I pushed the tray into the laptop, the DVD floated up and lodged in the housing above the drive. Fortunately, I was

able to fish the DVD out using a piece of padding and some tweezers without damaging the laptop or the disk.

2. There is no caps lock/number lock indicator light. Sounds like a small thing...until you want to do a lot of word processing.

This kind of drives me crazy.

3. Not a big fan of the shiny piano case finish on the exterior and around the screen. Fingerprint city! I am always wiping

the thing off so I don't look like a slob.

4. There are no programs loaded onto the laptop "as is" that are not internet driven. I kind of enjoyed having a few games and

goodies on the old Windows formats that were available to play offline. Bye, bye solitaire.

Admittedly, the above list are small things that I like to grouse about, but they would not be enough alone to keep me from making this purchase again. I still think this is a good machine for the money.

My husband is a digital media design student and we needed a new laptop for him that can handle all of the programs he needs for school. This one is working great for him. He's got the Microsoft Office Suite as well as the Adobe CS6 Suite on it and everything runs great. His only complaint is Windows 8 loads slowly.

I bought this laptop so that I could get work done around the house instead of being chained to my desktop. I'm a software developer, so I often run virtual machines of the platforms I'm developing for. Everything runs fast and smooth. I've even played some game on this laptop, and they run great. The keyboard is extremely easy to type on. The laptop stays a very comfortable temperature, even after hours of use and while gaming. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Designer Gomadic Black Leather HP iPaq 210 Belt Carrying Case - Includes Optional Belt Loop and Remo

• Case dimensions are sized to accommodate 134.2 x 75.6 x 18.1 mm . A perfect fit for the HP iPaq 210.
• Constructed of premium black leather, this slim fitting and classically designed carrying case will fit any clothing style or fabric.
• Detachable belt clip can be used as a carrying option. Case also has an integrated belt loop to provide a second alternative.
• Functional horizontal orientation provides for easy access and storage of the HP iPaq 210.
• Case provides functionality with a streamlined shape. A great look for both casual or business setting.

Strictly speaking, they aren't loops. They're slits through the back of the case that will take a 1.75" wide belt. It gets a leeetle difficult when the tongue of the belt is double thickness, but it still works. And a case that's so securely on your belt isn't going to be knocked off, the way a clipped case can be. It's a much more secure way to keep your expensive device from hitting the floor, ground, or, even worse, projections on the floor or ground.

iGadgitz Pink 'Guardian' PU Leather Case Cover for HTC Flyer / Evo View 4G 7" Inch Android Tablet

• Stylish hand stitched designer leather case with unique style
• Customised design to fit the HTC Flyer with cut-outs for all ports cameras, sensors and buttons
• Camera lens protection
• 3 position viewing stand designed to integrate smartly into the case
• Magnet free design means all compass related navigation features will still work accurately!

I have recently purchased an HTC EVO View 4G. I have purchased no less than 5 cases for this tablet. This case features everything that I was looking for (especially the attachment for storing the scribe pen). The cutouts are in all the right places. It has 3 different positions for viewing. The elastic band provides extra closure and covers the camera lense for added resistance to scratches. Inside, the frame around the tablet allows access to the menu and scribe button from either landscape or portrait mode. All this and stylish in leather!

I also have a navitech and a flyer case from Best Buy. These others each had options I wanted, but none with all of them. This case not only has more options, but fits better. Price was excellent too!

I absolutely love this case and would recommend it to other people.

This is a nice case, but the HTC Flyer pen does NOT fit the stylus sleeve. The pen holder is close , but not quite large enough to get the pen in even with trying to stretch it.

I put this case on my flyer right away and have no reason to remove it since I like almost everything about it. The built in stand works great, the leather is high quality and I love the color since it makes it easy to spot my tablet. All the openings are in the right place and it was a great buy. My only complaint is that the stylus holder is too small. I have the same stylus as in the photo, but there's no way it will fit. Aside from that, this is great.

I am so very delighted with my iGadgitz Pink 'Guardian' PU Leather Case Cover for HTC Flyer Android Tablet it is everything I had hoped for. It holds the tablet very securely and is comfortable to hold. Whoever designed this case put a lot of thought into it all the openings for the cameras speakers etc are in exactly the right place. Amazing value for the price.

This battery was fairly easy to install. (You'll need a small torx screwdriver to take off the back cover. I found one at Lowe's as part of a set of small screwdrivers. In addition, I found instructions on the web on how to remove and instalol this battery.) Once the back cover is off, it's straightforward to find and replace the battery. This replacement battery worked well; and, it lasted alot longer than the original battery between charges.

The rooCASE is a fantastic product. It is roomy, protective, heavy duty, versatile, & a great value. The only improvement I can think of there may be others but this one's mine is the pocket on the outside should be at least as large as the case to allow for standard size paper to be placed in it. It's just a little too small & that's frustrating. I don't want to fold everything. 5 stars if that changes.

Azend Group Envizen Digital Quartet 9 ED8890A 9-Inch LCD Portable Digital Television and DVD Player

• Swivel 9" hi-definition LCD, 800 x 480 resolution
• Portable TV, DVD player, and multimedia player; 3-in-1(MS/SD/MMC) card reader capability
• Built in ATSC digital tuner to receive digital TV channels; external antenna included for maximum signal reception
• Portable and handheld; convenient for use on vacation, airplane, road trips; built-in rechargeable battery
• Includes free car adapter, car head seat attachment, carrying case, a/v cables, remote control, external antenna, and AC adapter

When I started shopping around the portable TV, DVD, I found this product, it's cheaper than Brand name like Sony but comes with more features like Digital turner and usb port and SD card reader, and it's a 9" widescreen LCD which looks 50% larger than old 7".

It's a real good product. Plays long (2.5 hours). Color adjustings great. Love the little remote it came with. Has the car adapter, RF Antenna and Antenna adapter and carrying case mounts to the back of your car seat. It's cool in the car too. No hdmi though. Volume is good.

Also you can plug and play music or watch movies stored on your USB drive or SD card, which is pretty cool, while I'm waiting for my kid.

Overall, this is a good portable entertainment system, you can watch dvd, movies from USB or TV by using digtal antenna and you can connect to your big screen at home.

I got this for my wife to use in the kitchen, in place of our old 4" analog TV (with converter box). It hooks up to "amplified" rabbit ears (coax cable connection), and gets about 15 signals in our neighborhood (Akron, Ohio)same as the old TV. The small external antenna that comes with the TV doesn't do very well, however.

The only downside is the very poor (low volume) speakers. However, this was easily fixed by buying a $20 pair of small laptop speakers from Best Buy now it is loud enough for any room, even outdoors. Speaker cable plugs into the TV earphone jack.

Picture quality is good, and DVDs play well. I like the fact that it will also play photos from a USB thumb drive or SD card, too.

My wife loves it, now that we added the speakers. With standard speakers, it would not be as nice.

This product was just what I was looking for, convenient for anywhere and the price matches its quality. I used to try to read a book as I tanned before going out for a surf but I would just fall asleep, now I bring the 9 inch to watch movies and it's great. When I go on a long drive with heavy traffic, the kids can watch their shows/movies on the 9 inch and not get fussy. I travel a lot so when I get stuck in the airport because of delays, I pull the 9 inch LCD out. I love it (=

I found this great value in Amazon. It has all the features I wanted for half the price of other name-brand players. The quality and size of the picture is great, and I was able to download YouTube videos using a plug-in, convert them to MPEG-4, a view them with a memory stick.

I love the ability to turn the screen around, even 180 degrees, and then folding back. Funnily, some people thought that my daughter had her own iPad.

I found the quality a bit lacking, though. A couple rubber screw-covers came off shortly after buying, and the car electric converter doesn't seem to work anymore. However, we have found that we rarely need it, thanks to the 2.5 hours battery. In general, it doesn't give the feeling of a solid product.

The player stops playing DVD's if you push on the DVD door (you can avoid that by using the "iPad" folding I mentioned before), but it is resilient to movement. Be careful if you use SD memory of USB's, because they come off very easily, and kids can take them off by accident just by manipulating the viewer.

However, it has survived my toddler, and besides the minor issues, she has enjoyed it a lot. I love the TV feature, which allows its own antenna, or connecting to an external antenna. I didn't know digital air TV looked so good.

All in all, it's worth it, with the caveats I mentioned before.

Sony Clie PDA (PEG-S320)

• 160 by 160 dpi monochrome display
• 8 MB built-in memory
• Expansion slot
• On-screen keyboard data entry, optional portable keyboard available
• What's in the box: Clie Handheld, USB HotSync Cable, AC Adapter, Stylus, Installation CD-ROM, Applications Manual, Graffiti Sticker, Protective Cover

I held out from buying a PDA for a while I didn't want to give up the farm for one but I also wanted one that would do a little more than be an electronic datebook. I did a fair amount of research and decided on the CLIE S320. (BTW, I recommend pdabuzz.com) Now that I have had it for a month, I feel even more convinced that I bought the best PDA in the under $200 catagory.

In general, the unit offers all of the features I was looking for at this relatively basic level: address book, date book, memo pad, beam function, expense report, and helpful/fun software like zagat's restaurant guide. The CLIE functions well/as expected in all of these catagories.

Here's what sets it apart as far as the under $200 goes:

-the backlighting is terrific; they basically use indiglo. I don't know of any others at this price range that have such effective backlighting.

-memory stick function makes it VERY easy to add an incredible amount of additional memory (right now, up to 128mb)

-comes with a very sturdy cover that protects it very well; it works like a flip cover, which took a little getting used to, but the hard cover protects the screen well.

-jog dial makes it very easy to access information with one hand

-best of all, the CLIE is RECHARGEABLE. All other under-$200 require batteries. Sure, you can buy rechargeable batteries, but I love the fact that I can plug it into the wall and in about an hour have it fully charged up.

I do not have big demands for my PDA I am using it for fairly straightforward functions. In this light, I am EXTREMELY happy with what I've gotten and the features on the CLIE surpassed any other under-$200 model I could find. Especially for someone looking for their first PDA, this one comes HIGHLY recommended.

Buy Sony Clie PDA (PEG-S320) Now

I originally ordered a Palm m105, but after I read the reviews on this little jem, I sent the Palm right back to Amazon!

Let me tell you, this PDA is incredible. The best one you can buy for the $150 $300 price range, and I have seen almost every Palm based PDA and this is tops. Amazing reliability and battery life. I constantly use the backlight for various things when I am in low light areas, and it is a very cool, indigo type color that is extremely easy to look at. The screen is sharpest I have seen for 160x160, and the screen size itself is larger then the m105 and m125, both palm products.

Another thing which makes this a top PDA is its expandability. Sony has jumped on the market with better planning then any other company, releasing addons, upgrades, and peripherals at a steadier pace then any other company selling Palm powered devices.

Slot for memory stick gives this virtually unlimited memory if you buy the sticks, which are not too pricey.

Reliability has been great, with no problems at all. Had to do two hard resets because of bad software, but it was not the fault of the Clie.

Recommendations could not be stronger, everything about this PDA is outstanding. And for the people who need to get second glances, the looks of this are tops for any handheld device using the Palm OS.

Because of a fried hard drive on my laptop (courtesy of the Newark airport security check), I used this PDA as my main computer for a month, several hours every day. Here's what I found:

Pros:

* Rechargeable. Sony Clie is rechargeable, which means less weight and no hassle with changing batteries. In addition, the PDA has easily clocked 50-60 hours of work without the need to recharge it. After those 50 hours, the batteries were still half full, but I did not dare to go beyond that. Lastly, the power cord supports a power range that enabled me to recharge Clie in both the US and in Europe.

* Expandable. Sony Clie is by far the cheapest PDA around with an expandable slot for memory stick cards. This makes it a particularly good e-book reader as well, with lots of extra space.

* Durable. I have tested Sony Clie in temperatures from 0F to 85F; always worked perfectly. I dropped it numerous times, and there is still no problem.

* Ergonomic. I never had the same problem as with my palm accidentally turning the unit on. This is a huge battery saver.

* Wheel. The unit has a small wheel, which enables you to navigate without touching the screen. This is excellent for reading e-books, as well as handling other functions with only one hand.

Cons:

* Manual. The bulk of the manual comes only in electronic form, which may inconvenience some of the users.

* Screen. After about 250 hours of usage, the screen is starting to show some scratches. A protective layer is advised.

Overall, Sony Clie is so cheap that even without its movie player and picture viewer it remains the best buy among Palm-based PDAs.

Want Sony Clie PDA (PEG-S320) Discount?

As entry level PDA's go, you will be hard pressed to find a unit better then this one. Compared to the m105 and visor deluxe, all those units pale in comparison. For its price there is no pda that can buy what this clie gives you. Its the only entry level PALM unit that gives you expandability through the memory stick but it is also battery rechargeable. Although the screen is still monochrome and not hi-res like higher end siblings, its screen is still one of the brightest and clearest around. Using SONY's "STAMINA" lithium batteries, this unit just goes on and on.

If you're thinking about buying a PDA for the first time but don't want to spend too much money, forget the m100 series. Go with this unit. You wont regret it.

The CLIE S320 was my third PDA in the sub $... price range and in terms of features and performance, it stands head and shoulders above the competition.

The main thing that makes the S320 such an attractive buy is that it is one of the few (if not the only) PDA in this price range to feature a rechargeable lithium battery. Second, although the display appears to be slightly smaller than on a 100 series Palm, it is easier to read and features a much more usable backlight. Third, it is expandable. The lowest priced expandable PDA made by Palm is the M125, which typically sells for about $... more and does not have rechargeable batteres. Fourth, the jog dial makes it much easier to navigate through the desktop than using the stylus, although it admittedly takes some getting used to.

The only negatives about the S320 is that it does not come with a hotsync cradle, although it does come with a separate sync cable and battery charger. I don't find this to be much more than a minor inconvenience. The display to me appears to be slightly smaller than that of a Palm, but the fact that it is much easier to read and features a better backlight than the Palm more than makes up for it.

I have had only a brief opportunity to compare the S320 to the Handspring Visor series, which I also think is a good buy for the money. To me, the CLIE has a more contemporary look than the Visor's cheap "plastic calculator" look, although they are similar in performance, depending on the Visor model (I'm speaking about the Neo series here).

Overall, Sony has managed to provide a number of good and useful features in the S320 for its price. It can be bought almost anywhere for approximately $.... This one is well worth a look. Unfortunately, I'm selling mine because my wife bought me a Palm M500 for Christmas, a PDA which is only slightly better than the CLIE but costs twice as much.

This is all it was said to be, however since my wife uses a cradle it must be taken out of the case each time for charging and syncing. For someone without a cradle this is not a problem. Don't see how you could make it to fit a cradle anyway though so this isn't a criticism just an observation.

When I first got this I plugged it in and charged it overnight. When I tried to pair it with my phone it would bring up a screen that told me to type a 4-digit number and press enter. Have some Scotch tape available to remove any dust particles (which cause bubbles)from the adhesive side of the screen protector. You can read or watch a you tube video about that. I almost gave up and brought this calculator back... I could not get it to feed (and the instructions don't help since they are very small).. It prints nicely now that I've been given the secret to feeding the paper:

There is a slot under a little black plastic strip in the calculator.. Cut the paper into a " /-\ " type of shape (diagonals on the side up to a straight edge) and put this smaller piece into the loading slit. Apply constant pressure to the paper(without bending it) while pressing the FEED button. It seems to work really well.

I had to look a while for this info or the calculator may have scored higher

I'm a pretty die hard Casio fan, so this may come off as a rave review. Having had two of an earlier generation of this calculator that ran flawlessly for fourteen years (with heavy daily use), locating another was a no-brainer. This is a great unit, especially for retail use since it figures sales tax with a special button. The keys are large enough to handle women's fingernails and 45+ year old eyeballs...both important in my world.

The paper roll print option is nice to have; only gets turned on during year end inventory, but is good as an additional function.

I strongly endorse this and the other Casio calculators. They're great.

DO NOT BUY THIS!

1. the printing paper jams constantly no matter how I try and adjust. Paper feed is ultra-delicate and snags the tape constantly.

2. The keypad layout: note where the 0 and the 00 buttons are? NOT INTUITIVE or consistent with any other machine so I am always accidentally hitting 00 when I meant to hit 0.

These two problems are deal killer!!

This calculator is replacing one that was misplaced years ago and the batteries ate it. It works very well and has more capabilities than I'll ever use (including figuring sales tax on items)! The keys are large, the screen is big enough to read, and it runs on batteries or electricity. The directions for installing the ink roller were nonexistent, so I ended up wearing the ink trying to get it in right. The first thing one needs to do is to remove the strapping tape holding the ink roller. Then, the tab should extend to your left as you snap the roller in with the roller down. Once I figured it out, it was easy. At any rate, the lack of directions is the reason for four stars. I look forward to using this little machine for many years.

The Boxwave sketching stylus works well for what I bought it for. I wanted a stylus that would protect my tablet and be used in the little areas on the tablet that my finger is too big for. The stylus has a sponge type tip that protects the tablets screen. The sponge protector can come off if you press too hard. You have to move slow to keep from losing the connection between the touch screen and stylus. This is not a tool that works well for sketching.

My only complaint is if you want to reuse them and pull off old cables that are punched down they leave copper behind stuck in the slot. It just takes some scrapping to get it all out. Other then that these panels are great for the price. So if you are looking to save a buck and want a decent panel shop no further. My name is Christopher and I approve this message!

This product worked totally as planned and was an easy install. I now have total definition to all my network connections and wiring and a direct interface to test and troubleshoot. A good product

What can I say, it's a patch panel. I would recommend this product and save your self some money versus the other over priced products. This is in my home network 6 months and never had a problem with it. It comes with color coded wiring diagrams and is easy to install.

I received this keyboard for Father's Day. The first one lasted two weeks. The second one lasted 1 day. The connector came loose on both keyboards. By reading the reveiws on the Palm keyboards, think I will be getting one of those.

This is one of two keyboards offered by Belkin. This one is bigger and offers four launch buttons for the major Palm applications (date, phone, to do and memo) which I never use. The keyboard unfolds into two sections which click together. It has a full row of numbers, but breaks the space bar 80/20, which I found to be somewhat inconvenient. The right shift key is also half-size and located out beyond the up/down navigation arrows which I often miss-hit, especially when typing quickly.

The PDA's placement towards the left side of the keyboard seems strange, but works fine in practice. The keyboard is fairly rigid when open, which is great for typing on one's lap like a notebook computer. But the entire unit is fairly large when folded and even larger if you use the padded case that comes with it. So, in total, this keyboard doesn't offer many advantages versus Palm's original (which is about the same size), other than the ability to type on one's lap.

Belkin's other model, the G700, is actually much better, (especially if you don't need the application launch buttons). It's smaller and sleeker, and offers the traditional convenience of a complete row of numbers.

If you're looking for a full-featured keyboard, the original Palm model is still better. And if you want something sleeker or more stylish, check out the Belkin G700 (also available from Amazon) or Palm's new ultrathin version which is definitely the "coolest" of them all!

A keyboard that's too big to be considered "mini" and too small to be comfortable. It's strange left-side cradle design accompanies it's cheap toy-like feel. Don't be deceived by its full sized apperance, this keyboard does not allow free flow typing at any reasonable speed. I highly recommend Palm Brand Portable Keyboards. The Palm Brand Portable Keyboard worked great with my Palm V. The two biggest problems I've seen with friends and collegues purchasing palm keyboards that are not made by palm are 1.) functionality and 2.) a connection mis-match. A friend who recently purchased a Belkin Keyboard could not even get the software loaded correctly. Every button he pressed on the keyboard forced his palm pilot into Hot Sync. Haven't heard any complaints personally about Palm Inc. Keyboards. Be sure that whatever keyboard you go with specifies that it is compatible with your model, and don't trust the pictures!

The Belkin keyboard for my M505 works beautifully! The keys are a lot easier to press down than many other palm keyboards. The drivers worked just fine with my system as well. I would highly reccomend this product!

First I tried it at the store with an opened box model. There was a screw missing which held the connector in place. It was found elsewhere, loose from where it should have held the connector in place.

So the clerk got me a new one. I took it home and the small connector unit came loose. It appears the two screws that held the connector in were not screwed in completely. two different widgets, same conceptual problem.

Quality control appears to be an issue.

Mini Flexible Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Apple iPad 2, HP Touchpad, Motorola Xoom, Acer Iconia

Works great with Acer Iconix A501. Super easy setup with bluetooth. Flexible rubber keyboard that you can stick in your pocket (big pocket, but still)! After more time using it, I may take it to five stars.

I bought this keyboard with a little uncertainty, but I am so glad I did buy it! First of all, I received it a week before the actually date of estimated arrival. Then, I immediately hooked it up to my Acer Iconia Tab a200. It did take a little bit to get used to, but I love the size! Thus far, I have had no problems with it. I love how I can use the home button or even use the arrows on any app! It is the perfect size for those using tablets and my fingers are easily adjusting to the size. So, for anyone who has any doubts about this little keyboard, I definitely recommend it!

Product works well, and is great for travel, but it a little to small for me. I need a little bigger keyboard, but that shouldnt be a knock on the product. Money well spent if u ask me.
