At first this product was amazing and got the job done fast but then it started to TAKE AWAY MY BATTERY then it worsened to the point I can't even turn it on. Unless you pull both sides of the cord all the way out, pressing the button for retraction does not retract it completely. I only tried once to use it with the computer and it seemed to work fine. I have bought othe items from Gomadic that ahve worked well.

This product was pretty cheap so I wasn't sure if I would like it once it came. I never realized how much I needed a stand for my ipad. The cord isn't very long, but I almost never use it anyway.

They used to say in the Apple vs IBM wars, think about the software and then pick your computer. It's the same in Palm vs CE devices.

I'm a RN so I wanted at least a decent Rx database. Now that there is the Davis Drug Guide for the palm I couldn't resist. And there are loads of apps for the palm (check out palmgear.com). The palm has a big user base so most of the plentiful apps are either very cheap or free.

Palm devices are up against the wall though, since the standard 8MB is laughable for anyone wanting more than an address and date book. I like having all my personal info but the Handspring Pro comes with 16MB letting you get down to business, so to speak. I loaded it with lots of apps: Davis Rx, ePocarates Rx, and other medical stuff like ACLS, gtt calculators, lab values... and I even threw in Froggie in case I get some free time =)

I am at 13.5MB with all the medical apps, as well as, noah's dictionary and thesaurus, and hope that I will not exhaust the remaining limit.

Color would be nice! I would not get a color Palm device though. Especially since they don't have any with >8MB. If you are going all the way (with your money) and don't mind the size, a CE device may be ideal.

The Handspring Pro is great for carrying in the front pocket of your scrubs, with all the med information you could dream of moments away. It is easy to use. Long battery life. Seems durable. Hope this helps =)

I have been an avid iPaq user for about a year now. And while WIN CE can be a bit quirky at times, lets face it, iPaq's color screen and agility between applications makes up for Microsoft's shortcomings. However, about 3 months ago, I lost the "partnership" (the connection between the iPaq and the PC) and despite countless attempts to reconnect (by myself and a hired IT consultant), we never could reconnect. (Phone calls to CPQ and MSFT were fruitless.)

Because I really needed a device to handle PIM duties, I began reading the reviews (...) for Palm and Handspring. I had heard good things about the Visor products but had yet to experience them (long ago, I owned a Palm III...less than satisfied). After much trepidation, I took the leap on the Visor Pro. The final feature selling me on the Pro was the resident memory (16 MB) and the ability to extend through add-ons.

Since I've had the Pro, I must report, first and foremost (to me at least!), I've had ZERO connection issues. Synchronization has been flawless and beautiful. Beyond that, the Pro has all the necessary functions for the manager or executive on the go plus many, many more via download shareware. Additionally, perhipheral add-ons can turn your Pro into a phone, internet browser and Pocket PC without much sweat. The losses compared to the iPaq? I must be honest, all the touting of being able to create/manipulate Excel spreadsheets or Word documents (via the iPaq) is grossly overhyped. Yes, the availability is nice but who in their right mind is going to create any document/spreadsheet on a handheld-size screen? My only complaint is the screen. With a B&W screen, one can expect issues with light, hue, and contrast. However, after getting very comfortable with a color screen, moving back to B&W/monochrome is a tough move. I'll adapt, however, as Pro's other features make this a top-notch product.

For the money, Pro is my choice. I plan to purchase one for my partner and one for each of my mid-level managers (affordability is another incredibly nice feature of Pro). I'm actually thinking of getting a Pro for each of my teenagers. What a great device to get in control of the mundane as well as important aspects of your life.

As an avid Palm user, I got lucky to play with the Visor Pro a couple weeks back and have to say, if I were to purchase almost ANY PDA on the market today, this is the model I'd probably go with. When you consider price (and who doesn't?), expandability, accessories and a built-in memory of 16MB (SIXTEEN MEGABYTES???) there simply isn't a handheld product on the market today (that I am aware of) that can touch the Visor Pro.

I remember when my friend first purchased his original Palm about 4 years ago, and with 2MB I thought, there is NO WAY he'll ever have need for more room than that...little did I realize how useful these little guys can be. As far as organizing your life, a Palm device is almost invaluable -but they can be so much more. With a little patience, you can find free programs on the web to download that you just simply couldn't live without. Everything from maps to games...plus let's not forget the Springboard additions that truly make this PDA something special and a real honest-to-goodness cut above the rest. What really sets the Visor Pro apart from the vast (and growing) competition out there is it comes with 16MB of memory BUILT IN. No need to purchase more right off...this little guy has about TWICE what the *other* guys come with standard. Pretty impressive when you consider the price of this baby. Plus if you need more, the expansion abilities make this one of (if not THE most) versatile PDA's on the market today.

I am still sold on my little Palm M125, don't get me wrong, but for the price of just one single expansion card, I could buy the Visor Pro outright. Food for thought when you plan on making that jump to a handheld PDA that truly lives up to it's billing as an electronic device you simply cannot live without.

this is a great pda! so much memory to hold all the files and applications i downloaded from the net. the visor line and Palm OS devices have so many free/low cost software available on the internet. i was able to download approximately 30 different applications and photos on my pda and still have 10 MB room to spare. if you're looking for a pda. consider this one!!

i chose the visor pro because of its ability to use springboard modules and the large amount of memory. the large memory because i believe information is such an integral part of my day.

This unit is the best unit on the market for those who seek a B&W Palm device. The 16MB RAM coupled with the Springboard slot allows this unit to last for years to come. The Springboard has nearly a hundred modules available, where the others only have a handful. You don't have to pick and choose from your choice apps for only 8MB worth, you can keep them all on your device. Handspring continues to raise the bar for what a Palm device should be. Some people are concerned about the life of the Springboard, because Handspring's latest Treo does not have one plus the indicated that they would get out of the traditional PDA business (with includes the Visor brand). The fact remains as long as the Visor brands are out there, the developers will continue to make springboard add-ons. The developers make money off these add-ons, not Handspring.

The replacement stylus is terrible, much lower quality than the original stylus that comes with the LD. The replacement telescoping top is too loose, and thus wiggles around a lot in your hand. And it doesn't extend and retract smoothly into the barrel.

I would rather get a stock LD stylus than get 3 of these replacements.

I lost my original stylus (left it at a restaurant). This replacement pack of styli are just like my original. I have none of the problems the other reviewer had. My stylus fits perfectly, and the telescoping top is just like my original. This is a great replacement!

I'll admit, I lost my original stylus while moving my home, so I had to buy a replacement.

Pro: This new stylus works just as well, with the added bonus of having a built in ink-pen that's fantastic.

Con: The only negative (and it's only a slight negative), is that the telescoping top doesn't work quite as well as the original. Don't get me wrong, it does telescope and feels great when in the 'long position'. But while in the 'holder', sometimes it doesn't pop-out on the first push. It's more of a slight annoyance than a problem.

These stylus' work just fine. They aren't quite the quality of the original one that came with the Palm Lifedrive but I've had no problem with them and the pen feature is a plus. These were the only ones on the market (that I could find) and the price was low. I am very pleased.

I remember buying these. Mysteriously, they aren't the same as the one that came with the Lifedrive (many of us assumed the opposite before purchase)--these styli are inferior and lack the integrity of the OEM stylus--which fits securely in the Lifedrive. Frustratingly, one can't obtain the OEM version.

Why did Palm allow their Chinese fabricator to change these? Answer: Palm hasn't cared about its now discontinued PDAs, their owners, and, the Garnet OS for quite some time now.

Prior to owning my new Palm Zire, I had a PALM m100 for several years and loved it. I love the anti-glare aspect but about 1/16" to 1/8" all around the perimeter of the protector did not adhere to the phone. I contacted Lexerd customer support and their response was that it would go down eventually. After a few days of working at it, I got about 50% of it go down but the rest never did. The cutouts for the speaker and microphone have edges which come to a point. Both of these never fully adhered and eventually started curling up until the protector was rendered useless as it started to peel away (in about 10-12 days).

This was actually my second attempt with this protector. I thought I may have done something wrong when I applied it so I ordered another one but I had the same problem. When the second one arrived, I could see the same 1/16" to 1/8" of the protector was also not sticking to the plastic backing on which Lexerd had applied it for shipping. It's some kind of design or manufacturing flaw. Whatever "adhesive" they use is either not present around the perimeter or is not as strong as it is on the rest of the protector.

Great quick service from seller. The pens are of nice quality but the barrels of the pens are tooooo slim. Your fingers get tired when using for any length of time. A larger, more current sized barrel would make these pens really tough to beat.

This pen has a VERY light feel to it, and to some, that may be a deal breaker. Traditionally, I like heavier pens, but I gave this one a chance and I'm glad I did. The PEN refill is as good or better than a Cross pen. Smooth writing, no smears and it feels good on paper. This might seem trivial since you buy it for the stylus, but all to often, companies put little or no effort in the collateral options on their products. The STYLUS portion of the pen works every bit as good as any higher priced product. I've bought and own, Boxwave, AYL, Targus, Kensington, AluPen, and others. This stylus stands on it's own with any of the good ones.

The barrel is metal, albeit, not quite the "quality metal" they advertise, but it's not cheap garbage either. It feels good in the hand, writes well, and works on my iPad2 and Galaxy Nexus with NO wants or problems. Even with the lighter weight than I'm used to, I'd buy it again. (added point, the pen is refillable too, and not some proprietary odd size)

I bought these two pens for $5.99. My local Radio Shack had a pen/stylus for $26.99. My local OfficeMax had one for $24.99. These are great writing pens and look good too.

While the pens looked good, I was not impressed with the quality of them. One of the pens lost it's rubber tip twice and I was unable to get it back on after the second time. With the other one, originally the pen mechanism worked fine and then the pen point itself came out less and less till you couldn't write with it at all. I wouldn't recommend this product at all.

I purchased these stylus pens for my tablet. The stylus part works great, just don't expect the pen part of it to last. It actually fell a part.

First, I should point out that this product is listed (on Amazon) as a CD-ROM but it is not a CD-ROM nor does it contain a CD-ROM.

The package comes with a scanner and a booklet. The scanner has a USB cable and no other cable options. The booklet contains some barcodes that let you adjust the scanner settings such as scan mode (trigger, auto, toggle) and audio feedback (tone, duration). The booklet is also available as PDF from the Adesso website. The booklet is not needed for normal operation.

Installation on WinXP involved plugging the scanner into the USB port, done. Once plugged in, it chimed the la cucaracha tune.

Usage was just as easy, point and shoot. The scanner button is rubbery yet has a nice click feel so it is very easy to use. The orientation (non-pistol style) was better than expected and is very easy to hold and scan items over and over. I was (wrongly) expecting to be able to hold the scanner inches away from the barcode but this type of scanner requires you to practically touch the product with the scanner for a successful scan. With a successful scan, the barcode numbers are entered into your computer just as-if you had typed them.

This scanner is very easy to install and operate it couldn't be any simpler, really. The scanner sends the data to your computer as though you'd typed the barcode in on the keyboard; thus it should work with any software that supports barcodes.

Configuring the unit for scanning modes and beeper volume/duration (it's a little LOUD out of the box) is just as simple. There are a few barcodes printed in the manual that you scan per your preferences.

To test it, just point your browser to http://www.upcdatabase.com/itemform.asp, rest the scanner on a UPC code, and click the trigger. Even if the product isn't in the database, you'll get confirmation of a good read just by looking at the number read out by the scanner. (If it's not in the database, do those good people at upcdatabase a favor and enter the product details). You could also use Amazon's search feature with the device, in the same fashion: scan the product's bar code rather than typing in its title.

I scanned in a dozen CDs sitting here at my desk about as quickly as a checkout clerk so I stuck a pencil behind my ear, snapped my chewing gum a few times, asked myself if I found everything I was looking for and hollered "WET CLEANUP ON AISLE THREE!"

Overall, I like the product, but refrain from giving it five stars, because, as others have said, the scanner must make flat contact with the surface on which the barcode is printed to effectively read the code. Also, I was happy that this scanner was truly "plug and play" on my Intel Macs, even without any software. Of course, Mac users are used to this for almost all peripherals, but the fact that this scanner simply did what it was supposed to without its own proprietary software really raised its profile in my eyes.

Well, I ignorantly disregarded the reviews that said this battery didn't fit the 330 or 340 and am currently paying the price. I have a c320. This battery doesn't work and their customer nonservice is absolutely stunning. One email a day is all you get even when I respnded at 6AM to one of theirs. They said they have never heard of this problem. I don't buy that because they must get copies of reviews sent to them. Battery contains three wires, mine only two. Never used it. I would not purchase it again. I was going to use it to repair my garmin gps.

Received the battery yesterday and replaced the old one in my Garmin C330 last nigtht. Followed wayne1939's instructions on wiring the new battery and it worked great. Thanks wayne1939! I opted to use small heat shrink tube instead of electrical tape. Charged the unit overnight and this morning it's holding a charge. So far, so good.

This battery is not an exact replacement for the OEM battery. You will have to do some wire cutting and soldering to get it to work. But if you're handy with a soldering iron, this battery appears to work just fine. Other wire connection methods might work, but the wires are very thin and soldering seems to be the best option.

This is not an antiglared protector for the screen of a kindle, it should be opaque but glows and if you have a lamp or a light behind is reflected in the shield. I bought it, comes with 3 and then used one that I rejected because one of the idea of the kindle is precisely to avoid reflections. I really think that i lost my money, sorry.

I just received and tried the screen protector on the Kindles I have. The glare generated by this is just HORRIBLE. It's so much glare and reflection that I can even look at myself on the screen in normal room light, with as much detail as I would in a mirror. I didn't even dare try it in direct sunlight, just removed it immediately.

Definitely not an "anti-glare" product as advertised. The installation isn't as easy as mentioned either, but it does bring the installation helps mentioned. This is the worst purchase I've made for my Kindle. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS to anyone.

This transparent cover fits perfectly over the 3G-WiFi Kindle latest generation or the regular kindle . Because of the price, I purchased 3 packets of them, just in case it is ever discontinued. The case is subpar. It's made of pseudo leather that looks and feels more like plastic. The edges of open areas (e.g. port cut-outs) are lined with some plastic material (that's supposed to look like leather but doesn't) that falls off roughly a couple of weeks into use! Fortunately you can just peel it off and it doesn't detract much at all from the looks. But it does make those peeled edges feel a bit sharp.

There is a button which attaches the inner-swivel part with the exterior case. This causes a bulge in the back of the case that prevents it from lying flush on the bottom. In fact, put it on any flat surface and you can spin the case on the button! Ridiculous. Lie it on the front to avoid this design flaw. This design also requires two full back pieces, so it adds additional bulk over other case designs. I don't like it. Also, if you fold the back over there is a 1" spine. It helps for a typing angle, but doesn't feel good in the hand. (You can always hold it from the thinner side, so no biggie.)

Everything else works fine and it does protect the TF101 quite well. I had mine in a backpack secured to the back of my bike. The bag fell off and dragged along the ground for some time. It ripped a hole in the backpack and tore a little through the case, but didn't touch the TF101--so there you go! It's tough. But honestly, I can't recommend this thing.

Benefits: horizontal *and vertical* stand, compliments of the button design. (Given what I said above, there's a pay-off for that, however.)

When you buy this product you are buying a 64M card with a backup program on it. Very expensive and redundant. The card has a backup program similar to the one that comes with my Treo.

The documentation is very poor. It is most important to back up all the files on the card to your pc before doing anything. They are not protected. My files became corrupted. I have tried to contact the developers and company many times with no results. They do not list a phone number so you must search for and use email or online forms. None of my queries have received a single response.

So now I have a very expensive memory card with a pretty plastic box with a picture of a safe on it. Geat marketing. Lousy company/support. The backup program was no better than the ones supplied with the PDA.

I would suggest you save yourself the trouble and buy a large memory card and use the backup that comes with your PDA or Treo and put it on the card.

This is an MMC card with a capacity of 61 mb. only, however, that may not offer enough memory to back up newer models.

unfortunately, the Palm Support Tech told me to buy this card, but it turned out that it was not compatable with Palm Centro. Of course Palm would take no action to refund me money, nor would the seller!

Inside the box is a disclaimer that the product does not work with Tungsten E2 correctly. Going to the suggested developer web site and downloading the "update" resulted in an error message "back up failed". The developer did not respond to emails. The supplier did respond and is having their tech team see if they find a "patch". Until a patch is found I do not suggest this product be used with the Tungsten E2.

Delivery was fast, unfortunately wasn't able to use this keyboard with our 3D internet compatible LG TV.
