This product was pretty cheap so I wasn't sure if I would like it once it came. I never realized how much I needed a stand for my ipad. The cord isn't very long, but I almost never use it anyway.

This worked great, just plug and play. Cards were immediately identified. I gave it four stars instead of five because this is a very light unit and it has a tendency to slide around my desk. It needs some tacky rubber feet.

rooCASE Netbook, iPad Carrying Case Deluxe Bag for 10,11.6 Inches - Black

rooCASE Netbook, iPad Carrying Case Deluxe Bag for 10,11.6 Inches - BlackSo many pockets that are well placed. The outside front has a medium sized zipper pocket that rests on a bigger zipper pocket. The back has a big zipper pocket. Then there's the main zipper pocket. Inside, there's two spaces. One is just a big pocket space, and then the other is a big space with a velcro strap that can snuggly secure something in that space. There's also a small zipper pocket on the back of the inside.

I have the new hp Dm1z. It's an 11.6 inch netbook and it fits perfectly in the pocket without the strap. It's a little too tight for the one with the strap, but that doesn't matter because it fits snuggly already, but not to the point of where it starts pushing on the outer zipper. The strap pocket would probably be great for smaller 11 inch and 10 inch netbooks. I use the strap pocket to secure my kindle which also has the kindle cover. Then, on the big pocket in the front I can easily fit my external samsung dvd burner. After all this, the case barely bulges at all. I have yet to put in my netbook charger, but I know it will fit. It will make it bulge a little though.

The point is that I believe this is ten times more useful to you than buying a basic netbook sleeve. You can carry much more things in it, it provides more protection, and it still weighs barely anything. It will look nearly as sleek as a netbook sleeve if you just want to carry your netbook, or you can load with an assortment of supplies. It looks very professional with nice quality to match. Someone said the zippers were flimsy; I don't find that to be the case.

Not much else to say. I've checked numerous stores for cases. All I see are sleeves for netbooks or cases that are too big. This is a nice price for an excellent case.

I needed a travel case that would hold an iPad in it's Apple case, the Apple wireless keyboard and all iPad accessories. I took a chance on this case and found that it is perfect for all I needed. There is plenty of room and protection for all of that and there is extra room besides.

Also has short handles and long handle with shoulder pad for carrying. Has small claw feet to set the bag down. Absolutely love this bag, take it everywhere and would definitely recommend as a fantastic carrying case for any mini computer, ipad and kindle.

New Bracketron Universal Bike Mount for Cellphone , MP3 Player , GPS , iPod

New Bracketron Universal Bike Mount for Cellphone , MP3 Player , GPS , iPod
  • Heavy duty low vibration Mount
  • Height and angle adjustable
  • Provides optimal viewing angle
  • Sets up in just seconds without tools
  • Adjustable fit for any bike . Quick lock & release .

Unlike most bike mounts which expose your expensive phone to the elements and only hold it in place by some plastic mounts which can fail, this one actually protects it in a zippered case. It's also cushioned with foam inserts so that even if the phone somehow hits the road, it is likely to survive the encounter with no damage. It's a little bulky, but not overly so, and I can tilt it so that I can see the display regardless of the angle of the sun. I use the Cyclemeter app, so I have my current, average and max speed in sight along with distance and ride time.

iGadgitz Black 'Guardian' Genuine Leather Case Cover for Motorola Xoom Android Tablet

iGadgitz Black 'Guardian' Genuine Leather Case Cover for Motorola Xoom Android Tablet
  • Custom designed to fit the Motorola Xoom with contoured cut-outs for the Xoom's ports and features
  • Incorporates 3 angle stand with finer adjustments within each for greater viewing and typing comfort
  • Magnet free design means all compass related navigation features will still work accurately!
  • Padded genuine leather adds protection and style to your Xoom. Supplied with screen protector
  • Unique design offers a stylish alternative to the off the shelf cases current flooding the market

Another good choice here. This cover fits perfect on my xoom. All ports are exposed. No need to take off the cover for anything.

Its real leather and sewn, not glued together. The whole thing is leather. The inside is brushed swede. Its grain on the outside is smooth and beautiful.

Stitching is good, no breaks, smooth, flawless, and adds a nice visual touch too. The snap enclosure is real nice. Its easy to snap and has a strong hold. I like it better than elastic bands or magnets. Magnets interfere with the compass and elastic straps are more a pain, look cheap, and stretch out quickly.

There is no cheap plastic anywhere on the surface, inside or out. The snap is metal too, not plastic.

The stand is also leather covered. It holds great and has more than enough angles.

The cover is very professional looking and made to last.

This is definitely not a cheap built cover and worth every dime.

The quality is supreme!!!

With proper leather care, there is no reason why this cover wont last many, many years.

I am so glad I picked this one. :D

* 7 month update. Still a 5 star cover. No wear, no tears. Its abused, left in a little rain, spilled on, bent, roughed around, and still in like new condition! My tablet inside is perfect and safe. I never take my tablet out, dont have too, and thats what I want for my tablets protection. The cover gets the abuse while my tablet remains unscathed.

I've spent a lot of time searching for an elegant and functional quality folio case for my Xoom.

The Motorola folio case was ok, but there are various aggravating issues with it such as the lack of a power hole in the case.

The iGadgidtz Black Guardian Leather case cover is a great solution. First, the workmanship is outstanding. The stitching is very high quality, the cutouts for ALL ports on the Xoom are perfectly sized and placed and the power, headphone and volume jacks are usable even with the case closed. The material is very high quality, textured leather on the outside, felt-like on the inside surface. The screen border is slightly raised to avoid the cover pressing directly on the screen when it is closed. The stand is a hard piece which is wide and stable, giving about 8 steady positions for different useful screen angles. Finally, if you want to use the Xoom in book-reading mode, just fold the case back and snap the closure strap, and it's very comfortable to use.

Using this case with a bluetooth keyboard (such as the Motorola bluetooth keyboard with Trackpad) is an absolute pleasure I'm typing this review using this configuration.

I highly reccomend this case buy it and you will be very satisfied!

My family is a Xoom family. My father and son have a case that doesn't allow for the charging and was not well made. I bought this case on the product description and review. This case fits the Xoom perfectly and I don't have to keeptje case open to charge it. All the slots are easily accessible. I like the multiple angle feature.

The case is sewn not glued so I know this will last for awhile.

I purchased and received this product to day. While unpackaging this case I was immediately impressed! The quality of this item is superb. You can tell from the smell and feel that this is a high quality leather case that was constructed and produced to a high quality. The xoom fits well in the case and the levels of adjustment in landscape mode is great. There is no flimsiness at all compared to the Bear Motion 100% Real Leather Case that I had purchased earlier in the week and immediately returned. It works great in portrait mode and lies flat on a surface very well.

I like the snap cover for the case, the felt on the inside covers to avoid scratching the screen.

I would highly reccommend this case to anyone that is looking for a good quality case for their xoom. It is about $14 more than the Bear Motion, but it is worth every penny of the extra price.

Do yourself a favor get this case.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 21st, 2012

The snap that holds the case closed recently fell off. I contacted the manufacturer and they did not seem interested in the problem. They were not willing to make any type of effort to resolve the issue. You can draw you own conclusion. I like the case, but it should have not had any issues so soon.

I have had numerous tablets and covers, from 5" to 10.1" and this is by far the VERY BEST cover I have bought. Not only does it fit perfectly, but it was designed with all the must haves and wants. Openings for every connection including the power plug, which no one else seems to notice. You can recharge your Xoom tablet without having to leave the case open or removing the tablet. Absolute the best cover out there!! If you have a Motorola Xoom then you NEED this cover!!!

Sony CLIE PEG-T615C/S Handheld (Silver)

Sony CLIE PEG-T615C/S Handheld
  • Slim design--only .50 inches thick--with 16 MB of RAM and 4 MB of flash ROM
  • Bright, high-resolution TFT color display
  • Jog Dial navigator allows you to access phone numbers, notes, and more while keeping your other hand free
  • Synchronize with your PC using included HotSync cradle; compatible with Windows PCs
  • Expandable viaoptional Memory Stick cards

T615C Review

I have had a Sony Clie T615C for a week now, and here are my impressions and some considerations for potential buyers.

PROS

The T615C has a great screen. Text and other fine details are crisp and easy to see thanks to the 320x320 resolution (four times the pixels of the typical 160x160). Photographs are particularly stunning on this display, and you can fit much more text on the screen (with proper application support). Having experienced the higher resolution, I would never go back to the lower resolution of other PDAs.

The beautiful slim design (only half an inch thick) makes the T615C very easy to fit into pockets and other confined spaces. Also, the unit feels very sturdy and well-built.

The Jog Dial and Back button are great enhancements that all PDAs should have. Once you start using them, they will make navigation through programs much easier. (I believe that these are currently only available on Sony Clie models like the T615C.)

The 16 MB of RAM is much more than enough for most users; I have about a dozen programs installed, plus a full dictionary, and have only used about half the space. Also, inexpensive Memory Sticks can give you even more room.

The included application bundle is quite comprehensive, with a photo viewer, paint program, games, and more. Especially valuable for Microsoft Office users is a full version of Documents To Go 4.0. (Note that some of the included programs are demos only.)

MIDI music clips on the T615C sound great and make for fun alarm sounds.

CONS

Colors on the screen tend to be a bit washed out and muddy (not fully saturated). For example, the red on a T615C screen is not as "vibrant" as the red on a computer monitor. This appears to be a function of using the backlight, since the colors are much better when viewing the T615C screen in direct sunlight (of course, you will almost always be using the backlight). This issue is not important unless you need perfect color reproduction for some reason.

Some T615C units seems to have brighter screens that others, due to manufacturing inconsistencies. Nevertheless, unless you compare the screen side by side with other units, you probably won't notice it.

There is no way to charge the T615 without using the cradle, which is a bit cumbersome to carry around. There is a small AC adapter, which connects to the cradle, and a USB cable to connect the cradle to your computer, which results in a big jumble of wires. If you do a lot of traveling, I recommend investing in a travel charger.

It is unfortunate that Sony is calling the T615C a "personal entertainment organizer" since I find it to be better-suited for everyday business / personal management tasks, not entertainment. This model is not well-suited for playing action games, since the application buttons and the scroll button are somewhat small. Also, it does not play MP3s without a special accessory. If these things are important to you, look elsewhere. Note that *stylus-based* games look great, sound great, and play great on the T615C.

There are not many third-party accessories (e.g. keyboards) for the T615C... yet. This situation will get better over time. Also, though Memory Sticks are great for storage, the MS interface has not been widely adopted for implementing add-on peripherals, like a GPS receiver. If accessories are important to you, you should consider a Palm or Handspring model instead. (Though remember that accessories do detract from the portability of a PDA, particularly a slim model like the T615C.)

ADVICE

Before you buy, visit a local retailer to see the T615C in action, especially its amazing screen.

If you purchase the T615C, I strongly recommend getting a screen protector at the same time. A protector is a thin plastic film that is laid on the screen to protect it from scratches. Though you may be able to keep away bigger scratches by handling the unit carefully, it is possible for dust to get caught under the stylus and scratch the screen slightly during normal use. Check online for PDA screen protector manufacturers.

I also recommend getting a case, though this is not as important as the screen protector. You can get a hard case, pouch, or belt clip case, depending on your needs. There are not a large number of case options for the T615C, but enough to satisfy just about anyone.

If you are on a budget, you can get the T415 for about half the price. It does not have a color screen, and has only 8 MB of RAM, but it is even thinner than the T615C and has all of the other features.

For more buying information and advice for the T615C and other Clie models, I have found the Clie Source web site to be an excellent resource. (Amazon does not want URLs posted in reviews, so check a search engine for the URL.)

In summary, I highly recommend the T615C for anyone who wants a great PDA, but who doesn't need a lot of add-ons or entertainment functions. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Buy Sony CLIE PEG-T615C/S Handheld (Silver) Now

Sony has a winner in the Sony PEG T615C. 16MB of onboard memory, with external memory expandable up to 128MB with a memory stick (...), high resolution 320x320 screen (twice as sharp as the Palm m505 or the Handspring Visor Platinum), and the thinnest form factor out there. The Clie has surprising heft for its size; it feels reassuringly solid, like it was machined out of a solid ingot of aluminum. The digitizer works great, and the ousnd fetures are an added bonus. I work in a hospital, and the added memory is very helpful: I use a dictionary, drug guide, emergency reference and two other reference titles and I still have 8MB free space on the internal memory. PLUS I have 150+ photos on my memory stick, along with a few movie titles. Also, using Sony's MS Autorun, the Clie will run programs that are split between the internal memory and the Memory Stick.

Since the Clie is now in a new form factor (the T series versus the N series), this leads to its one failing: lack of accessories. No wireless (or wired!) modem, only one case style available, and the audio adapter and camera. Once more accessories become available, the Clie will be a runaway winner

If you are even thinking of buying anything else, you should seriously reconsider. The Clie T615 (hereafter known as Clie)has everything anyone would need in a handheld. Extreame resolution and double the colors of even a GBA make viewing photos, playing games, reading e-books, and many other miselanious activities a breeze. The Sound quality is unbelievably amazing so you can listen to all your tunes without an MP3 accessory (which you can also purchace if you want an mp3...). 16 meg of internal memory raises it above most palms and visors (which are 8mb). The Jogdialer and the back button are great so you can select and run applications, scroll down in e books, and view pictures one handedly. One unfortunate problem sony has failed to comprehend is that if you were left handed, you would hold the clie in your right hand while writing with your left but the jogdialer and back button are on the opposite side... If your right handed, dont worry about it. The infared port is mostlikely the best thing on the entire system. You can play games, exchange programs, and even turn your Clie into a remote control for your TV. Battery life seems fair untill you recharge it a few times then it will last for about 10-12 hrs strait. Movies are great on the Clie and if you have a movie file on your PC you want ot watch on your Clie You can format it to be compaable with the added on software. One thing that any owner of any handheld will definately need is a memory stick. If you have games, MP3s, photos, e-books or any other extras you will probly want a memory stick to increase your space. This is a great Item and I suggest it to anyone who is even remotely thinking about purchasing a handheld. Even if you have another handheld you should still get this. PS The Clie also comes with a leather screen cover and it's made of Titanium not plastic like palms and Visors. Comes with a cradle instead of a cable too.

I have used four other Palm OS based systems, the V, Vx, IIIc, and 505. I consider myself a power user I have several megabytes of documents on my palm, as well as some large spreadsheets, an automatic time zone changer for my trips, etc. However, I don't use email, modems, or other accessories (other than a travel kit, which is available) for my palms. So, since the closest comparable model is the 505 (and that's what model my CLIE is replacing) , how do they stack up?

1. Memory the 505 comes with 8MB, the CLIE with 16MB. Easy win.

2. Speed while I don't know the chips inside them, the time they take to recalculate a given spreadsheet of mine is the same. Tie.

3. Bat Life The 505 seems to have a slight edge in this regard, if only because it is almost mandatory to use the backlight on the CLIE... which brings me to 4,

4. Display The CLIE has double the resolution, an adjustable backlight that even on the dimmest setting puts the 505 to shame. Hands down the CLIE's display is the best I have seen, and finally makes it worthwhile to put photos on your handheld! With the backlight off, the 505 has a slight edge, but both are pretty terrible with the backlight off.

5. Size This is the reason I picked up the CLIE 615. It is the same thickness, slightly lighter, a bit taller but a bit narrower than the 505 (heck, read the dimensions). For those of you who like to keep their handheld as light and small as possible, the CLIE 615 will not dissapoint.

6. Extras The CLIE has the jog dial and back button, trying to make it as one handed as possible, with no comparible feature on the 505. While sometimes it is useful, it is not all that important. The CLIE comes with a good bundle of software, and seems to be built quite solidly.

In sum, the CLIE 615 is great. It does just about everything you would want a handheld to do execpt for built in internet access, which is what the Palm 705 seems to be designed for. I highly recommend it!

I received the T615C as a birthday gift last month, to replace my aging Palm ... I've been using Palm devices for about five years now, and so I've come to store my entire life on them...The new T615C has 16MB of internal memory -huge considering the small size of Palm OS applications and records -and I picked up a 64MB Memory Stick...Even after putting things like Avantgo on there, it will be hard to fill 80MB in the absence of MP3 playback. One nifty thing: I was able to take a stick full of pictures from my friend's Sony Mavica camera, and view them immediately on the Clié. Sony is the master of centralization, having put Memory Stick slots in all of their major electronics products except the PlayStation 2. Using MS Import, the Clié in its cradle appears like a hard drive in Windows XP, letting me transfer files to and from the Memory Stick very quickly and easily.

The unit is about as large as my old Palm III, and feels about as heavy. The aluminum casing is very stylish and rugged; while the small labels on the back suffer a bit from traveling around in my pocket unprotected, the unit itself feels very solid. It comes with a simple flip cover that flops around a bit, but can be unlatched from the back. I think I'll get a hard case for it, when one comes out. The whole thing weighs about five ounces, and I carry it around in my hip pocket with my wallet, or my jacket pocket easily.

The screen is a transflective color LCD similar to that used in the Game Boy Advance. The screen is impossible to read indoors without using the backlight, but with the backlight it is gorgeous. The colors skew blue a little bit, but aside from that it is excellent for viewing photographs. Sony has once again stressed multimedia for their organizers: the Address book lets you put a small Print Club-sized thumbnail image beside the name, which links to a full-screen image. The included PictureGear Lite software is a bit clunky, but it gets the job done in converting images to fit on the device. Images are stored with very little compression, but you can use third-party apps like AcidImage and FireViewer to view larger JPEG files. I have several subway maps on my Memory Stick, for example. One other nifty trick: you can "retouch" photos by loading them in "CLIE Paint" on the handheld, adding thought bubbles and drawing fake beards on them. Nice touch.

Three weaknesses exist for me with the PEG-T615C. First of all, since the T-series (along with the PEG-T415) is so new, there are very few accessories for it. My old Palm...assories, such as my GoType! Keyboard, are useless with it. This isn't a big problem, since I didn't use the keyboard quite that often. Second, the battery life is limited. The Memory Stick drains the battery particularly quickly, as does the backlight. While I haven't ridden the battery down to zero, I find it necessary to drop it in the cradle for a full charge every day. I've traveled with it for weekends without a problem, using it lightly as with any Palm OS device. Lastly, most people have a beef with the buttons on the front. While the application buttons (Date Book, Address Book, To Do List, and Memo Pad) have a nice solid feel to them, the up/down rocker switch is damn near impossible to press. Fortunately, Sony included a jog dial and a Back button on the side, which can be used in lieu of the up/down rocker and Applications silkscreen button in most applications.

A small sun icon in the corner of the silkscreen can be used to adjust brightness of the backlight, a nice touch. Finally, in another traditionally Japanese way, a small hook on the side lets you attach a little lanyard to the side as you would with a mobile phone. Unfortunately, such lanyards are hard to come by in the U.S.

I received the Clié as a gift, so I can't comment on whether it's worth the money... Or, if you're feeling like a new color PDA, splurge. The high-res display is breathtaking, and if you already own a Mavica you can shuttle the Memory Stick back and forth between the camera and PDA. All in all, a very cool PDA.

PDair Leather Case for Nokia N8 - Flip Type (Brown)

PDair Leather Case for Nokia N8 - Flip TypeVery durable product. The leather is of highest quality, with soft smooth texture. This item was a bit pricey but was worth it when compared to other cases. It provides full and complete protection for every end of the phone. The two most important parts; the screen and the 12MP camera was well protected when in your pocket. Due to to this extra protection the availability of the camera is a bit cumbersome since the case must bent to access the camera. Although the case was designed to do this, I hardly ever, but rather to take the phone out of the case to take pics and video etc. I dont mind this, since I prefer the have a case protecting the High def camera rather than those other cases, like OtterBox that dont protect the camera or the screen. I often wonder why this OtterBox is so "high" rated since it does nothing in my opinion.

To summarize: High Price, but Quality beyond expectations..

Delivered in executive packaging perfect for a gift.

If you spent that much for a Nokia N8 then dont hold back from spending on protection.

A case for the person who wants complete protection and executive appearance.

Startech.com USB2IR USB IrDA Mini Adapter

Plugged in, new HW found, but a problem occurred (code=1) when installing strike 1.

Tried to installed driver from CD for WinXP (dated 2001!) after installation system unstable, now getting code=31 from adapter.

Tried to uninstall driver or roll back both failed.

Called Startech they chose to not test with SP2 beta, and are only now testing.

Am returning as not compatible with SP2!

I needed a means to copy stuff to my Nokia 5100 GSM phone, which has an infrared adapter. this item fits the bill perfectly. No drivers required for Windows XP. It even comes with a 6-inch USB extension cable in case your usb ports are at the back of your PC case.

I have never had any problems with it and I have owned it for over a year (as of Dec 2005). It is only USB 1.1 compatible. but given the transfer rate of an infrared device is only 1Mbps (compared to USB 1.1's 12Mbps) it is no issue. I recommend it. It's the cheapest infrared adapter you'll get on amazon.com anyway.

I got this to allow me to download diving profiles from my UWATEC computer to my desktop and laptop.

It works well, which is more than I could say for the other ones I tried. My dive computer is very picky, and this adapter links up nicely.

Installing it was easy too.

Want Startech.com USB2IR USB IrDA Mini Adapter Discount?

Great product. Good value. Have used this many times already and have not experienced any problems yet. I use it to download Polar heart rate monitor information. It was cheaper than buying the Polar IrDA.

I bought this IrDA based on a review from a scuba diving website. It works as an alternative for the $100 model that Uwatec/ScubaPro offers for their Aladdin three gauge computer console. It installed quickly and easily on my computer. I'm not the most computer savvy person, but still could get this installed and working correctly. This is worth the money to download dives from the Uwatec/ScubaPro computer.

PalmOne Hard Case for Zire Handhelds

PalmOne Hard Case for Zire Handhelds
  • Plastic exterior with stylish finish
  • Durable plastic interior
  • Smooth interior lining
  • Secure attachment mechanism

I need a case for my Zire 31...so ive been looking around and recently came upon this little gem...

ok, not really a gem. actually, a piece of cheap, cheap plastic that has a piece of velcro inside. Who wants to stick a piece of velcro to their pda? Not me! Can you imagine how uncomfortable that would end up being, holding your pda and feeling the velcro on your palm (excuse the pun) all of the time? Honestly.

Dont buy this...dont even think about it. I moved on after seeing it with my own two eyes...dont take your chances.

It is way too expensive for what you get...i mean, although it is called "hard case" there is nothing hard about the plastic. It seems really flimsy.

That was the only thing that surprised me when it showed up. it looks like it could be something else from the picture. Maybe that was just me, I have seen palm cases that look like some type of metal but now that I have gotten used to it I am glad it is plastic. It protects my Zire, it fits perfectly and has the coordinating colors if thats what you are into. Its pretty affordable I have seen it as low as $10 and you would want to spend at least that to protect your palm. Not crazy about the velcro attachment but at least it is detachable.

Ick! I've had this case for only a couple of months and I've noticed the silver paint on the outside of the case has been flaking off in my purse! Not only are all of my purse items, lipstick, wallet, etc covered in tiny specks of silver paint, but the case looks awful! The protection it gives is otherwise satisfactory, but who wants to whip out a speckled case that looks like I fished it out of a garbage can during a business meeting?!? It's not pretty! I got the PDA to look more sophisticated and organized (I'm a grad student), and now it looks I can't take care of my own stuff!! Needless to say, I'm on the hunt for a new case. Alas, it was a gift to me, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. A classmate showed up with the same one this week, and I'll be discreetly checking it out to see if it does the same thing!!

yes it flakes if u use it alot, but hey at lease it protects the pda very well. It is not too bulky for me. I even bought another one off ebay.com when the original one broke and yes things break, everything can and will most likely go out and or break after awhile. The velcro doesn't feel that bad on my palm and would recommend this pda case to any pda user out there that just wants basic protection and doesn't want to spend alot of money. ^_^

I love this case and currently use it for my zire 31.

As other reviewers have said, the paint does flake off pretty much completely. It is also plastic, not metal. However, it is strong and has saved my palm many a times when I have dropped it. It's fine for the price, just know that you'll have to spend time scrubbing off the paint so that it doesn't get everywhere.

Stand for Apple Ipad, Adjustable Handheld Electronics Holder 2pl Set of 2

Stand for Apple Ipad, Adjustable Handheld Electronics Holder 2pl Set of 2
  • Sturdy acrylic base, machine riveted to a heavy vinyl coated, steel wire back brace
  • Ideal for holding all handheld electronics Ipad, Kindle, handheld TV's and more.
  • Also used to display serving trays, plates, tiles, artwork, framed photos, ad much more!
  • Promote point of purchase sales and increase visibility
  • Lightweight and compact for easy storage and mobility

I use a "Hard CAndy Case (Street Skin)" on my ipad 3g and this stand is the perfect fit. The best thing about this stand is that it is adjustable, allowing you to view your ipad at different angles.

But if you dont have a case on your ipad, I would not recommend this stand because it would slide off.

this was suggested a few weeks ago on MacBreak Weekly podcast so I bought it. then I re-ordered 3 more. Handy for propping up the iPad in any direction with any case already attached. I use it while iPad is charging or when I want the ipad to serve as a photo album viewer. I also use it on my desk while typing from the Apple wireless keyboardApple Wireless Keyboard (Retail Packaging). let's me sit the iPad horizontal as opposed to the Apple keyboard dockApple iPad Keyboard Dock Keyboard that you have to insert the iPad in vertically with no case attached which is awkward.

this little device is inexpensive and handy to have several around. I keep one at office, desk, bedroom and travel with one. Have given one to a friend. can be used with books and kindle too. or other tablets.

this will hold your iPad in portrait or landscape mode. the movable piece the adjusts angle has a rubber wrapping on it, so you don't need to worry about any kind of scratches. also the sharp-looking feet are rounded enough to be safe. its base is wide enough to be very stable in most scenarios.

but really, guys. this is nothing more than an antique holder. something you'd buy to display collectible plates or some such. it works with the iPad...or any other device and inanimate object of the same size. if you don't like the style of this stand, just do a web search for business card or antique plate holders.

I bought this to prop up my Ipad. It works perfectly. It's such a simple solution at a low price and it's easily adjustable. It has a rubber type coating on the part that touches the back of the ipad. It's nice that it doesn't scratch it and adds a little bit of friction, so it stays put. It's a 2 pack, so I split it with a friend who is also very pleased.

I had strolled around the fancy high-tech stores looking for a product that would hold my iPad upright on a table. There are quite a few stands out there in the market, and they all had a fancy price tag attached. It didn't make any sense to buy some designer luxury product when all I wanted was what it seemed a very simple function: an object to lean the iPad on so I could easily lift it off the table or put it back on. And then, I found this stand. It didn;t occur to me that something designed to hold a decorative plate would be the most perfect answer. The size is ideal, the mechanism is simply a wire on a hinge which you can incline in the angle of your choice. The transparent acrylic base is discreet and actually quite modern. It's lightweight and compact. I would perfectly use it in business presentations, and for fun at home, where the iPad has been a digital frame at times. In fact, I think this review is way longer than it needed be for a product that is all about simplicity.

NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers Protective Hardshell Case for iPad 2,7.5x9.6-Inch

NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers Protective Hardshell Case for iPad 2,7.5x9.6-InchI purchased this to replace my Belken clear back cover for my iPad for a couple reasons. First the Belkin was yellowing after a year protecting the back of my iPad II; second, the Belkin had cracked; lastly, it's football season and I am a Buccaneers fan!

The product snaps on without any issues and provides coverage of the entire back of the iPad while at the same time allowing the use of the Apple magnetic screen cover. The graphics are printed on the outside of the cover, so I con't know how they will hold up to use over time. I was hoping the cover was made of clear plastic with the graphics pringted on the inside, but that was not the case.

Penpower WPSNO31EN World Pen Scan

Penpower WPSNO31EN World Pen Scan
  • The WorldPenScan, the highest-rated text-reader device on the market, scans and converts text into computer-friendly data via USB interface.
  • Scan away effortlessly and watch the text appear on your word processor immediately.
  • Scan words, sentences, and excerpts from printed materials
  • And converts them into editable texts with a high accuracy rate for applications such as Words, Excel, Outlook, and text editors.
  • Scan words or sentences to certain language translation websites and see their translations by one click

I read and summarize a lot of material professionally, and needed a tool to help me quickly excerpt material. After a few days of heavy use, I can say that World Pen Scan has fully lived up to its claims. It is very fast meaning that I can rip out a line of text in just a second, then hit the button on the top for a hard return, and keep going. I would estimate that this is 10x as fast as typing, and a lot less wearing. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it that I wish they would use a little heavier grade plastic for the housing to make this feel higher-quality. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would.

The Worldpen scan cost a bit more than the other pen scanners, but once you use the Worldpen scan you will know the extra cost was worthwhile. I am a level 2 nursing student who needs a quick way to transfer text to files such as powerpoint and word documents. The Worldpen scan will recognize technical text and symbols such a mg/dl, 3.3L/min/m2, difficult pharmacological generic names and so on, at a very quick rate of scan. I can scan an entire page of medical text in several minutes. The text is instantly transfer to M.S. word document where it can be edited. I use a separate, non related, program to convert the visual text to audio, Ipod, or mp3, and I have an Ipod ready file to listen to. It is a great way to listen to and absorb needed information while skiing, driving, jogging, or anywhere you take your Ipod or mp3 player and need to study. The Worldpen driver installation is quick, straight forward, and very easy to use right out of the box.The pen ergonomics are user friendly, well thought out, great for smaller hands like mine, compact, and power is drawn from the usb drive. I take the Worldpen scan to lecture along with my 11.6 inch Acer laptop, and textbooks forgetting my highlighter and best of all no marked up books.

I bought this because I like to enter in text from textbooks that I highlight so I can use them for research papers later on. Previously I would type these in but after awhile I really get tired of typing and start making mistakes, sometimes my fingers don't seem to work anymore in terms of speed and accuracy. Maybe it's because I'm getting old, I don't know. So after a lot of research, I went for this product which also has Mac support (definitely a requirement since I use a Macbook). Previously I never had a pen scanner so I can't really compare scanners. But I can say that this pen scanner is very fast in terms of how quickly you can slide the scanner over the line. It's very accurate as well. The only time I noticed that I got errors was because how the paper curves at the binding on books, but if you put the book as flat as possible and just be careful as you approach the curve you can increase accuracy. If you take the cost (plus rebate) into account it's a great deal compared to other pen scanners.

PROS:

-pen is light

-great speed and accuracy

-scan text in both directions (even though the software says one direction)

CONS:

-kinda feels cheap for a $100 product

-the "on" trigger should have been a roller type of button so it would move more smoothly across the paper

-hard to tell where the beginning point of the scan is

-the "triangle" pointer on the plastic that you are supposed to line up your text with is kind of hard to see, but you get used to it

-errors can happen where the pages curve into the binding

Update 7/3/2012:

I've been using this pen scanner extensively for school. As I mentioned, it's not fully compatible with Word for Mac. In fact, it's very frustrating using it with Word for Mac than it is worth. So what I do is just use Pages, then I copy and paste into Word which works better. When I use Pages, the scans are a lot more accurate. The pen works extremely well. From time to time, I'll get a random number instead of the text I scanned, but usually the 2nd time scanning the line will solve it. But it happens far, far less frequently than with Word. It's less stressful and aggravating compared to using Word. I'm going to downgrade it 1 star because I think it should work just as well in Word.

Update 7/11/2012:

I've been slowly downgrading my rating for this device. It started with 5 stars, now I am giving it 3. The reason why is because there are times when I scan a line and it gives me gibberish. It has nothing to do with my scanning technique, ie. how straight I move the pen scanner or the speed, because there are times when my pen motion is not smooth, crooked, very fast or very slow and it scans in text perfectly. When gibberish starts coming out, sometimes I have to scan the line 5 or 6 times just for it to scan the text, by then it would have been quicker for me to manually type it in. Not sure if this is an issue with Mac, but I've used the built in mac word processing like TextEdit with the same results as Pages. When it works, it's great, but when it gets stuck on gibberish mode, it is extremely frustrating. I guess I will live with it for now.

I use the pen scanner for note taking for college classes. It does take some practice to get the speed and accuracy up, but it works really well. Bright lighting in the room also helps. Highly recommended!

Motorola calls these radios the "CLS" series. Clear, Light, simple. 10 for 10 on all 3 counts. We have tried several brands of CB's and FRS units without the reliability we need or the sound quality we demand. The little radios are very dependable and the sound quality is simply great. They are easy to setup and use, always work and have very good battery life. We have the 4 channel version with a earpiece that has an inline mic. We rely on these little giants without worry.

We recently bout a bunch of these for use at our farm, but while they work better than the $20 radios we've been using they are not capable of getting all the way across the 40 acre plot when any obstruction is in the way. They'll have to go back, sorry to say. We need something that deals with steel sided barns better.
