I have the case on my xoom almost everyday. I like the feel and the look of it a lot. The stylus on the other hand, isn't as good. I didn't expect something wonderful, but I was hoping for a little better.

The HP iPAQ Pocket pc rz1710 is a good buy for the first time pocket pc user. The built in applications are very usefull for managing your day to day activities. Furthermore its screen resolution is great for the price. However it does not come with bluetooth or wifi which severely limits its ability to connect to other modern gadgets or the internet. In addition its low internal RAM prevents it from running many third party applications. This hard case is cheap, cheesy plastic with velco to fasten your PDA to the interior. It is inconceivable that this is a PalmOne product but the sad fact is that it is indeed. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I returned mine to the store from whence it came and the return was accepted despite the opened bubble pack.

I also have problems with the paint coming off the case. Also, the case is really intended for the Zire 21, where the power cable and the USB connection are off the top edge of the PDA: The case hinges at the top, flipping open like a Star Trek communicator, so access to these ports is easy.

This is NOT for the Zire 31: Palm added a Secure Digital card slot and a headphone socket to the 31, and there apparently was not enough room for the power and USB connector as well, not to mention the infared sensor, on the top edge. On the 31, power and USB are imbedded along the left edge, and there's a white rubber cover attached to the case to cover those holes when they're not in use. The PDA is attached to the case by applying adhesive velcro strips to the case and PDA, and the sides of the case are too high when the case is open to permit plugging these into the PDA without physically pulling the PDA partially off the velcro.

Still looking for some protection for a really good PDA.

This case is poorly designed. The Zire 72 supports MP3 but the only way to use that with this case is either to open the case or to drill a hole in the top to insert the headphone jack.

There are no holes for charging or synching. You have to remove the unit from the case.

The case has adhesive velcro to attach the device to the case. You have to cut it in two before you install it so the serial number is visible.

All in all, this appears to be a cheap third party case that is sold under the brand name.

Bought one of these for myself but passed it on to another Palm M100 buyer. The case opens only one way -Palm on the right, slots for credit cards on the left. This makes the machine much bulkier to carry and, more importantly, awkward to use if you tend to approach the Palm from left as well as right.

On the other hand, the new owner is absolutely thrilled with the quality of the leather and fascinated by the use of velcro to attach the Palm to the case. Moreover, she works her Palm on flat surfaces where the extra leather to the left is less bothersome than my approach of holding the Palm in mid-air. Conclusion? Try looking at this case open before you buy to be sure it suits your style.

I bought the slim leather case about 5 days ago. Here is what I think about it:

Pros: professional looking, quality leather, card slots nice addition

Con: case makes the Palm bulky, stylus is difficult to reach once Palm is fastened to the case, the location of the snap(leather strip)on the right is awkward. It hangs over the screen of the palm and can be anoying. Might be better if snap was locatd on the left.

I love the look and function of the leather case, and it is perfect padded protection for a purse or backpack. BUT...I almost decided against it, because it is so awkward to retrieve the stylus. In part it may be due to my left-handedness, but it still is a struggle to reach under to the right and pull the stylus loose. I wish the case had been designed with a stylus holder down the centerfold. This should definitely be considered with a redesign.

I am acutely aware of how fragile a small electronic device can be having dropped my cell phone on numerous occasions, I have found that a protective cover isn't just sylish, but a complete necessity if you want your items to last -and with what they cost, I need to squeeze as much use out of mine as possible.

I looked around for quite awhile before I purchased mine, and I went with this particular model mostly because it was designed specifically for the entire m-class of Palm Pilots (I personally have the m125). I love the look of this carrying case, and yes, it IS made of real leather. It has now entirely replaced my wallet thanks to the pockets inside which can hold my credit cards, drivers license and cash (if I'm ever fortunate enough to actually GET some from the missus...). Because of the Palm inside I don't feel comfortable putting it in my back pocket like I did my old wallet, and since mine did not come with a belt clip, I bought the same model I use for my cell phone and it works like a charm (now if I can only remember to take it off before I sit down on it in the car...). The velcro snap on my particular model has worked perfectly since the moment I opened it up, and see no future problem resulting since it seems to be well stitched on in the back.

All in all, if you have an m-class Palm product, don't just rely on the semi-rubber flip cover that it comes with, buy one of these slim leather carrying cases and you will increase the life & reduce the wear of your product significantly -especially if you fumble with your pilot as much as I do. There are many different types of cases available, and I would imagine most do a great job of protecting your Pilot...but for this specific model, I can honestly say mine was 100% worth the cost.

I accidentally ordered the wrong size net-book sleeve. (Thought my computer was a different model #) After filing a claim, The PC Micro Store contacted me back by e.mail right away and wrote it would be no problem to return it for a full refund. I immediately shipped it back after which the PC Micro Store refunded the money straight back to my account. Very impressed w/this company & service so far. They knew which net-book sleeve would fit my computer perfectly just from the name brand and model #!!! This would have been very difficult to do on my own since i have a new net-book and there are so many different sizes of cases out there. Apparently they've been doing their research! Also FYI; The roocase product was excellent. Well constructed Neoprene fabric with a nice double zipper sewn into it. I'm sending it back. There's much more than an inch at the top and almost as much on the side of extra space. The thickness of the case leaves the Samsung swimming inside. It's so loose you can grab it by all the empty space at the top to carry it. I'm sure there are netbooks that this case fits perfectly but for a neoprene sleeve to be this loose and baggy I can only assume the seller has mislabeled it. Maybe it's really intended for the 13.3"?

Construction and materials looked good.

I read all the reviews of this product and finally chose it over other styluses made with plastic tips. I thought it could handle the job and last longer. However, when I went to use it with my Nook Tablet, I found, especially when there was a narrow area that needed to be touched, most of the time the cloth stylus was not sensitive enough to activate the tablet in that area. One time it would work in a similar condition, and then in another, it wouldn't function. I got really frustrated.

So, I went and purchased a screen saver cover for my tablet and started using my fingers. I found that they were more sensitive and accurate than the stylus was! If I buy another stylus, I'll buy one with a plastic tip, even though it may not last as long as the cloth one would. If it doesn't work accurately either, then I'll just keep on using the old reliable, wear resistant fingers!

Footime Foot Mouse

What's good:

* I like the slipper mouse movement ability

* Left click, right click, and double left click are cool too.

What's missing:

* There is no middle click.

* The buttons are programmed on a per-appliaciton basis so there is no way to just set up global settings for the yellow buttons.

* I use synergy to send Windows mouse and keyboard commands to my linux box and it doesn't appear to send the non-mouse buttons properly. I just get "+" and "-" signals

What could be better:

* The buttons feel a bit light weight plastic and tend to sometimes make a snapping sound when they release.

* I'm not so good yet with the control. But I think it will come with time.

The slipper is hard to control. So I put a ball mouse (usually for hand) on the floor and use it instead of the slipper. The control bottons work find. I just wish that the left click, right click, and double click are all on the bottom row. Currently, the left click is on the top row.

And why on earth do they not include a universal customization instead of forcing you to individually create a set for every single program?? And there's NO Help or support available that I can find. I have ALS with no use of my arms. I been using this product since 2009 and I just bought my fourth Footime Foot mouse (first time from Amazon). I average about 4 hours of use a day which I feel is double or triple the average use.

I like the layout of the buttons, I only use the red buttons single, double and right click buttons and the scroll wheel. I never use the yellow buttons or the programmable shortcut buttons. After about 6 months the single click button starts to double click once in awhile and worsens to the point 6 months later it double clicks all the time. Without a single click button this is now junk and has to be replaced. The double and right click buttons both have acted up around the 10 month of use.

The first Footime foot mouse I bought was only one month old I had a problem with the slipper dying and the only way to get it working was to unplug the foot mouse wait 10 seconds and plug back in, this is big problem when your arms don't work. The manufacturer sent me new ones that worked for a while then started dying so I designed a reset box I can operate with my feet which the foot mouse plugs into than my box plugs into the computer. The foot slipper also has a problem after a year with wires breaking at the plug. I like the early version of the foot mouse better because it would slide on the pad easier and newer ones are rougher I have to put clear packaging tape on the bottom.

So since I like the layout of this product, the cost is cheap and there isn't anything else like this cost wise on the market, this is why I'm still using this Footime Foot mouse.

I purchased two of these about 6 months ago when I first got my new Pantech phone. I was looking for something inexpensive to cover up ALL THAT PINK. This was a gorgeous alternative and it's had many compliments. Only issue I've had is the stickers tend to wrinkle a bit around some of the curvy contours, but it hasn't been enough that the sticker tears or comes loose. I bought two, expecting that it wouldn't last long and I'd need a backup. I tend to shove my phone in my purse full of other stuffkeys, hairbrushes, makeup, etc. so scratching damage is usually a given with my phones. This sticker has held up better than expensive rubber covers I've purchased for other phones in the past! It's been several months now and I'm still on the first sticker. I searched for hours it seems to find a case I liked, with the features I wanted. I looked in retail stores and on the Web. This was the only one that fit the bill. I ordered this case for my Droid worldphone. It's totally awesome. Here's what I like about it:

I've dropped it several times already, and the case protects the corners of the phone

it's easy to open quickly, and the cover folds back outof the way when using the phone

it looks sharp and I get lots of compliments

the keypad is protected by a clear membrane

The only possible thing I wish it had it's missing a little pocket or place to hide a credit card or $, like when you go for jog and take your phone and want to have some $ with you too. But it's fine. Phones can ruin the magnetic strip on credit cards, so maybe just as well. Also, the phone is a very snug fit in that case. If you need to take your phone out of the case regularly, it would be too much hassle I think.

As a fun aside, at the time I ordered, this case was only available from a seller based in Hong Kong. The downside is that it took a few weeks to arrive. The upside is that the package arrived with all kinds of postage stamps, shipping stamps, and hand-written customs forms in Chinese stuck all over it. It was like receiving some exotic exciting package from halfway around the world, a little virtual trip to Hong Kong, something kind of rare in this global age where the corner store carries everything.

Nokia N82 Black

Any Nokia Enthusiast with experience of hacking Nokia devices would definitely want the n82. It's one of the only phones left that has hardware acceleration, that means it can take advantage of certian games such as quake, quake 2, quake 3 (yes! it plays quake 3 at 25fps+)

Now about the official features of the device:

The 5mp Camera is excellent, I use it as my main camera. The Xenon flash is a big plus, and it makes every photo crisp and enhances the quality. With xenon flash pictures will never get blured, you can take a picture of a spinning fan or moving water and it will capture every droplet or stop all the fan blades in motion. It will light up a pitch black room as if it's lit up by daylight or fluorescent light.

Speakers are LOUD, crisp, and of great quality. I haven't owned a louder portable device yet, and the n82's speakers are stereo, which just sounds awesome.

The screen can be easily seen in daylight. The material it's made of kind of reminds me of an old gameboy, the way that you have to have light shined at it in order to see. Well in the sunlight it just seems to enhance the screen rather than make it hard to see. However if you have a scratched up screen this will make it harder to see, as scratches light up in sunlight.

Also, the GPS is really nice, there is now OVI Maps 3 which is free. The older verions of Nokia maps used to cost. Depending on the day it can take anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes to get a signal. The 5 minute days don't happen too often.

All-in-all this phone is awesome, It's a basic bar phone but packed with lots of features!

Cascade 220 Yarn - Palm (# 2409)
