Spinpad Case Ipad 2 (Black)

Spinpad Case Ipad 2
  • 360 degrees Rotation
  • 180 degrees Reclining
  • Hang it, Landscape View, Portrait View, Gaming View, Presentation Mode

This is the Exact same as a Native Union Gripster. They bought this company and renamed it and doubled the price.

This is an amazing case. Easy on the hands if you read a lot like I do. Easy to adjust. Works very well with a Smart Cover. And it fits my ipad 3. For 20 I can't recommend it enough.

**** Revision to initial review. I want to start by saying that PC Micro went out of their way to make this shipping fiasco right. I did finally receive the correct case. I did have to order directly from them, but they reimbursed me back all my shipping and upgraded the shipping to expedited (to make comparable to Amazon prime). I know they are working with Amazon to insure that the correct models are marked and that when the new model of the cover is ordered, the new model is received. Hopefully others won't have this problem like I did.

That being said, I will review the product directly.

I owned the original model of this iPad cover and was really excited to see that this new model enables you to adjust the iPad from Landscape to Portrait. It is an awesome feature and it works really well. That being said, I will be honest with you. While we love this case, it is not perfect. Some of the drawbacks were very frustrating, so my family has revised this iPad cover slightly to compensate for some of those imperfections.

1. If you read my original review of this older model of this iPad cover, you will find that I compared it to the Zoogue case for the iPad. I loved the Velcro feature of the Zoogue case! It enables an infinite number of viewing angles with complete sturdiness. This rooCase allows for multiple angles, but the stand can move and jostle and even slip out of the grooves sometimes. But, since this particular case has a much better fastener for closure and better options for color than the Zoogue, we preferred this design. What was our solution? I went to the store and bought industrial strength Velcro tape. I taped the soft side of the tape to the groove area of the cover and then taped the loop side of the Velcro tape around the tip of the stand. The result is that I can adjust my iPad to any angle I desire PLUS, it never moves from that position. I can even pick it up and carry it across the room and it stays at my desired angle. The Velcro tape does NOT interfere with the magnet that keep the stand down when not in use like I feared and, even though I was worried it would look funky, it really doesn't. As soon as everyone else in my family saw how awesome the Velcro idea was, they demanded I put the Velcro on their cover as well.

2.) The second negative regarding this case (and the vast majority of cases for the ipad) is that the corners remain exposed. Even being careful, I noticed dings on the corner of my ipad 2 as a result of its lack of protection. I started brainstorming options to protect my iPad better when I came upon a couple of iPad plastic covers that protect the back of the iPad and that people buy to use with the smart cover. Some of these plastic cases are very thick, but there are a couple (one sold here on Amazon) that are only 1.2 mm thick. I bought one, snapped it on the back of my iPad and then slipped the iPad back into the rooCase. To my surprise, it fit! Now my corners are protected by the plastic case. Again, I ordered more for everyone else in my family (and bought the corresponding colors to match our cases).

Okay, so in reality, we have revised the cover a lot, but with those revisions, I believe it is a thing of perfection! Now with the landscape and portrait options, it is the best of every world!

(Original review regarding shipping...)I have always loved the roocase iPad cases, and to be honest, I love this new design and all of its features. I have the old model of this case, but recently my mother bought me this newer adjustable design in magenta. I LOVE it, and after seeing it, my husband asked to get one too. Soooo, I ordered one on Amazon, being extra cautious to buy the new model that turns portrait and landscape. Unfortunately, they sent the old model. No problem, simple mistake, right? I issued a return and ordered the item again. Once again, I was careful to not just look at the picture, but read the description to be 100% that I was ordering the new model. 2 days later, I receive what in the mail? The old model!! So, I called Amazon, letting them know that something was going on during shipping and distribution that was causing the error. What was their solution? "You will have to order the case directly from the company to ensure you receive the correct model". What??? Nothing against PC Micro,, but I pay an annual fee to be a prime member so I can receive my items either in 2 days or overnight, why should it have to pay for slow ground shipping from other company(thereby losing the Amazon guarantee) when amazon should honor their FBA?. Don't order this case until amazon and the seller get their stuff together.

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case Cover for Gateway 11.6-Inch LT3119u Netbook (Black / Orang

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case Cover for Gateway 11.6-Inch LT3119u NetbookSellers like this aggravate me when they say that such-and-such a product is "for" a specific model, because it implies that the fit is custom to the model.

In reality, this is just a standard netbook bag that fits netbooks ostensibly up to the size of the LT3119u. Unfortunately, since the case is **NOT** specifically for the LT3119u, the large battery pack on the outside makes this case just a notch too small for the Gateway LT3119u (hahah!). But, it is neoprene, so you can sort of stretch it around to fit, but it is most definitely not a custom-designed fit for this netbook.

But whatever. The case ITSELF (modulating out for the seller's implication of a custom fit) is very nice quality and will protect my netbook just fine.

Sony CLIE PEG-NR70 Handheld

Sony CLIE PEG-NR70 Handheld
  • High-resolution reflective color display includes front lights for excellent visibility indoors and outdoors
  • Built-in MP3 audio player; includes stylish headphones and remote control
  • 16 MB memory, 66 Mhz processor
  • Swivel LCD display, built-in QWERTY keyboard
  • What's in the box: Clie handheld, Headphones, Audio remote controller, USB HotSync cradle, AC adapter, Stylus, installation CD-ROM, application guide

I'm not really a gadget person, but I'm a big fan of PDA's because they really are so useful. I've had a Palm Vx, IIIc, and a Compaq iPAQ, all of which I've been very fond of and have been absolutely essential in keeping me organized.

I currently own a Sony Peg-T615C, and if I hadn't purchased it recently I would buy this one right now. I just got back from CompUSA where I gave it a test drive, and I just have to say "Wow!" This is really one cool PDA.

The flip-open clamshell design with the integral keyboard and the rotating screen has been nicely executed. If you want, the whole screen turns over 180 degrees and then you can close it and then hold it just like a normal Palm Pilot, if you don't want to hold it in "clamshell" style.

One concern I had was resolved right away. The keyboard looked sort of cheesy from the advertising photos, because it looked like one of those membrane-types that don't have very good tactile qualities, but the buttons are slightly raised and have enough spring to them so that they actually have quite a nice, solid feel. Although I'll probably stick to the Graffiti handwriting, the keyboard works quite well. The only other PDA on the market with an integral keyboard that I know of is the Zaurus, running an embedded version of Linux. Although I was impressed with it, it's more of a Pocket PC and doesn't run the Palm apps. Actually, it won't run the Pocket PC apps either because of the Linus operating system. But it's still an impressive offering in its area.

But getting back to the Sony, another thing you'll notice that's different is the Graffiti area is virtual, like the Pocket PCs, and is more evenly vertically divided between the letters and numbers areas. Also, it's noticeably taller, which increases the overall height of the PDA compared to the PegT615C, but I'm sure I'd get used to this pretty quickly. However, it does increase the height making it noticeably bigger than the Peg-T615C, but it's okay.

One thing to consider is that since the NR70 can use the whole screen, they're going to have to develop new apps that take advantage of this. The native apps, the Memopad, Todo list, and so on, probably do, but I couldn't figure out how to cancel the virtual Graffiti area to test this. Anyway, Sony says it has 4000 developers signed up to create programs for their PDAs so I'm sure there will be more apps making full use of the screen soon, not to mention the greater resolution of the Sony color screens, which are 320 x 320 instead of 160 x 160, and in the case of the NR70, 320 x 480.

The program availability problem aside, all in all I think this is a great unit. In fact, I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Buy Sony CLIE PEG-NR70 Handheld Now

This is a love-hate handheld. I've owned my NR70 for four months, and would advise someone to think twice before buying one of these machines.

First the plus side. This is the best looking handheld device I've seen. It's as much of a piece of art as a handheld gets these days. The case is a joy to hold, and the rotating screen doesn't get old after months of use it's still a blast to spin it into position. The design also serves to protect the screen against scratches. Battery life is not too bad better than I expected and it recharges quickly. The 320x480 screen is outstanding when applications support the full resolution (unfortunately few do). With 320x320 apps, the virtual graffiti area and icons are extremely clear.

Now for the negatives. I returned my first two. NR70 Clie #1 had a dead pixel. I swapped it for #2, and upgraded to the NR70V with a camera. Two problems. The camera is very poor quality and I lost interest in it after five minutes of playing with it. The second problem is that the screen brightness of my NR70V was less than that of the NR70. I could see this because my wife had also purchased a NR70 and in a side-by-side comparison, hers was brighter than the NR70V. In addition, when I went back to Circuit City, their NR70 on display was brighter than their NR70V. Not a big difference, but these are expensive machines and I like mine bright. So, I returned the NR70V and wound up with Clie #3. After 4 months of use, here are the downsides:

1) Reliability problems. My wife had to send her NR70 back to Sony for repair because it hosed her memory stick and the infrared wouldn't work. Sony told her these were "known problems" (well, why release the hardware if it has known problems?) She had a poor customer support experience the packaging Sony mailed to return it for repair arrived several days after it was promised, and it took over two weeks to get her machine back. Sony doesn't really care that users depend on these machines for their jobs and has no program to rush a replacement unit to the user. It breaks, it's your tough luck. One piece of advice from Sony was, "why didn't you purchase an extended warranty from Circuit City." Well, why should I? These machines are expensive enough already! My own Clie has had intermittent problems reading the memory stick and now is unable to transmit wireless. It's not convenient for me to be without it for two weeks, however, so I'm going to try and live with it.

2) The "keyboard" is completely useless. I never have used it. The device should have been made smaller, or this space used for a more useful feature like wireless.

3) The up/down keys and the four buttons for the Palm OS applications are useless. The device feels unnatural in the hand when opened up clamshell style you can't get a good balance holding it and using the buttons to play games. These buttons belong on the bottom of the screen. The problem is further compounded by the nonstandard configuration and ridiculously small sizes of the up/down buttons.

4) Not enough applications support 320x480. Only two applications that I use regularly do AcidImage and Mobipocket reader. It is frustrating that more apps don't support this and that Sony did not rewrite the key Palm OS apps (datebook, etc) to support 320x480.

5) Not enough applications support the hires mode. Even the new release of Bejeweled 1.6 doesn't support hires. This is frustrating because once you see a hires app, you don't want to use anything that displays at 160x160. Ever.

6) Sony makes you install a Sony version of the Palm desktop on your PC. I expected that at least after having to uninstall my old Palm desktop and reinstall the Sony desktop, the new one would at least look better. But it is just as uninspired an interface as the standard Palm desktop couldn't they have spiffed this up a bit?!

7) Too expensive. Price is coming down, but the original retail prices ...are greedily high for a Palm OS device.

8) Prepare to stock up on extra styluses because they don't stay in place too well and fall out of their slot on the side of the Clie.

9) Can't hear MP3's without headphones. Game sounds are loud, system sounds are loud, but MP3s are barely audible.

10) The hold button is easy to slide into the "on" position without knowing it. The first time I did this, it took me a few minutes of fiddling with the Clie to realize it wasn't broken after all. But it keeps happening.

11) The memory stick sometimes pops out of it's slot if the Clie is jostled around in a packpack or briefcase.

12) As noted, the camera in the NR70V is poor quality and not worth the extra price.

All in all, I do enjoy my Clie, but I'd never buy another one of these and I'm staying away from Sony next time around.

But it's still an impressive offering in its area.

To get an idea of the brightness of the screen, I compared it side by side with my venerable Palm IIIc, which still has the brightest screen of any Palm model. Overall, the screen resolution is superb and the brightness is excellent, and the clamshell design with the rotating screen overall was executed very well, I thought. It's not as bright as my IIIc, but the battery should last much longer than my now 2-year old than the IIIc, and it has 64k colors, whereas my IIIc only has 256.

I just had a couple of complaints, but they're not serious. The only problem with the screen is that it rotates only one way, which is clockwise. If you try to rotate it the other way, you'll find it won't go at all. This makes it different from the small LED screens on most camcorders, but it's okay.

The other problem is that if you rotate the screen 180 degrees and close it, so that you're now holding it like a regular Palm, rather than clamshell style, you now can no longer reach the four application buttons. Had they placed the buttons at the bottom of the screen, it wouldn't be a problem. However, there is a workaround for this. If you want, you can configure the jog-wheel to pop up your applications instead. Not a bad solution.

The other complaint I've heard is that the battery technology is a little flakey. A friend of mine that has one says the unit powers off without warning when the battery gets low. My Palm IIIc at least tells you when you need to put it on recharge. Also, he said the manual says you only need to recharge it for 4 hours before using it. But when he tried that, the unit wouldn't power up all the way and would lock up.

Another thing you'll notice that's different is the Graffiti area is virtual, like the Pocket PCs, and is more evenly vertically divided between the letters and numbers areas. Also, it's noticeably taller, which increases the overall height of the PDA compared to the PegT615C, but I'm sure I'd get used to this pretty quickly. However, it does increase the height making it noticeably bigger than the Peg-T615C, but it's okay. But perhaps best of all, the Graffiti area displays your strokes, which helps to increase accuracy. There are programs, such as GrafAid, that do this also, but with the Sony, you don't even need that anymore. Also, the strokes are displayed on the Graffiti area itself instead of on the screen above it, as in the case of the GrafAid or the original built-in Graffiti program.

One thing to consider is that since the NR70 can use the whole screen, they're going to have to develop new apps that take advantage of this. The native apps, the Memopad, Todo list, and so on, probably do, but I couldn't figure out how to cancel the virtual Graffiti area to test this. I compared this PDA side by side with my venerable Palm IIIc and was very impressed with it. PalmOne Portable Keyboard for Palm V Series Handhelds

PalmOne Portable Keyboard for Palm V Series Handhelds
  • Small form factor and lightweight
  • Full-size keys for true touch-typing
  • Integrated docking station
  • No batteries required
  • Compatible with Palm V handheld

Do you hate it when you're using the Stylus pen on your new Palm Vx and every time you make a 'v' the palm displays a 'u' or when you make a 'k' the palm displays a 'y'? Well palm has solved that big problem with the smallest portable full-sized keyboard that has yet to be seen for the Palm.

Simply put, this is the best product out for the Palm so far. Not only is it the same size as a regular keyboard, minus the number pad, but it also folds into one four-section square that snaps shut for easy transportation wherever you take your pal pilot.

It also functions flawlessly with the Palm itself. Just install the program on the disk that comes with it onto the hard drive and then place the keyboard program on the palm using the Palm Manager and you're all set to type away.

Besides its technical strengths, it is also got a strong magnesium casing to it to prevent damage to the keyboard itself in the event of dropping it. It also comes with it's own neoprene case for a little extra padding.

However, since I have to picky in order to best serve you guys who are reading this review, it does have one or two slight problems.

First, the shift button on the right side of the keyboard is a little small. Although aesthetically this may not be a big deal, once you start typing you'll see that every now and then you his the up button rather than the shift key and are typing in the middle of another sentence.

Second, although it's smooth sailing when the palm is attached to the keyboard, taking it off and placing it on the keyboard is a little difficult. The reason is that the platform, although stable, is a little flimsy, comprised of a plastic spine and a thin metal support. One time I almost broke the stand trying to get the palm out of the darn thing.

Don't get me wrong though. Compared to all other keyboards (i.e. the IGo) and all the other things that could have been wrong with it, the Palm portable keyboard is a must buy for people who pack their palm full of notes or anything else. It's quick and easy to use. And although a little more expensive than the IGo, it's worth the extra money and is a quality palm product...just like the palm itself. Enjoy!

RevuMan: Get out of the way Stylus, Keyboard coming through...Peace!

This is the best palm product i have bought. It is so compact when it is colapsed that it can fit in your pocket. when the keyboard is open, i can type as fast on it as on a regular keyboard. This in conjunction with a program called co-Launcher lets me launch every app on my Vx with out needing the stylus...just assign co-launcher to one of the keyboard command keys. I use it to take notes in class, keep track of email, write memo's and todo's.

A couple of improvements...It doesn't work if you have afterburner turned on (i'm sure this is afterburner's fault). Also, the arrows default to moving while in a memo that is in edit mode, You have to the function key + arrow to scroll in an email...this is inconvienient for me : (

Bottom line....i would pay double the price for this product. It has made my palm a million times more useful. Now it is more than just a game playing machine : )

A while ago, I wrote a review of this product entitled "Very cool, but flimsy..." in which I indicated that, even though the expandable Palm keyboard had changed the way I worked with my Palm V, I'd had some problems with it. A few days ago, I was contacted by the president of the manufacturer (not his administrative assistant), offering to replace my keyboard. I got the FedEx a day later with my replacement keyboard. This kind of concern for my satisfaction impresses me as much as the thinking behind the keyboard itself. As a result of this very positive experience, I need to amend my original review from a lukewarm 3 to an enthusiastic 5. The product's still a great one, but the company's focus on the customer makes it even better.

Want PalmOne Portable Keyboard for Palm V Series Handhelds Discount?

I've tried other Palm V keyboards with little success. In my experience, the main problem with the other keyboards relates to HackMaster hacks. With all of my hacks in place -Graspeedy, Menuhack, Contrast Button Hack and PopUp Note -and with a ton of software on my Palm Vx, including the beta version of the Omnisky/Minstrel wireless software, all functions perfectly. I've tried the keyboard with SmartDoc, QuickSheet, MultiMail, PocketQuicken, HanDBase and all the built-in apps. It works fine with all these apps. The shortcut keys for opening apps and doing specific functions in an app, also work just fine. The folding keyboard is an engineering marvel and, in spite of what others may say, you can use it on your lap. Even the case is well thought out. This is a real winner!

The Palm keyboard is a great invention. This is something that i have waited for a long time since i first purchased the Palm V. I disliked using the Graffity-thing and the mini-keyboard on the Palm V.

Then one day i ran across this keyboard in one of the electronic stores, and the first thing that took my attention is the format of how the keyboard folds out. Breaking from a box into a four piece segment, the farside of the keyboard segment can then be slid together to form a full size keyboard. The attatchment to the palm can also be slid out to the top and fold out to make a stand for the Palm itself. The entire process could be done in a matter of seconds, and apart from installing the program into the Palm, the keyboard is a quick tool for any typing job for the Plam.

The only negative things about the keyboard is that it can't hold together into a one-segment like a normal keyboard can. You need to put it down on a flat surface. It is also relatively expensive and very FRAGILE when folded out, and i really mean it when i say FRAGILE.

Apart from the minor flaws and the price, I personally recommend this product to anyone who owns a Palm.

For Sony PRS-350 650 950 Reader Wall Home AC Charger
  • Charges the battery on your devices from wall outlet.
  • Sturdy connector for longevity and durability
  • Comes with Intelligent Chip 34063 (Prevents overcharging and overheating)

This adapter worked for reading, but did not charge my reader. I threw it out. I wound up having to purchase one from SONY which works perfectly.

Buy For Sony PRS-350 650 950 Reader Wall Home AC Charger Now

This charger has a micro-USB connector for connecting to the eReader. I ordered this item thinking it would connect to the charging port on my SONY PRS600-RC eReader. This charger does not connect to the charging port on my eReader, nor does it connect to the mini-USB port used for both charging and data transfer to my SONY PRS600RC eReader via USB connection to a PC.

The other end of the charger, artfully hidden in the photograph , is a micro-USB connector which is slightly wider but about half as thick as the mini-USB connector required by my eReader. (Even if I had been able to connect the charger to the eReader it would not charge any faster than through the USB cable that came with the charger).

The documentation for the PRS650-RC eReader describes the USB port as micro-USB, and the vendor assures me that this charger works with the SONY PRS-650. The documentation for the SONY PRS600 describes its miniature USB port simply as a USB port, but I connected the USB cable supplied with my eReader to a USB port on a tablet whose documentation describes its port as mini-USB, and concluded the eReader's port was a mini-USB port. In the product description, the vendor did not describe nor even display the other end of the charger. For my part, I was originally confused about both the model and USB port type of my eReader. Be aware.

900DPI PS4400 Handy Scanner with 1" Color Display

900DPI PS4400 Handy Scanner with 1' Color Display
  • Scanning Resolution up to 900 DPI, 900/600/300 dpi, color/monochrome scan selection
  • Has a 1" color display for preview
  • A4 color contact image sensor
  • Color or monochromatic selection feature
  • Compatible microSD card ONLY ; supports up to 32GB

This is a great scanner. Very small and light. It works fast and the image quality is good. Some things to note: The batteries it came with were dead, leading me to believe intially that the product was faulty. But if this should happen to you, just pop in a fresh pair and you're good to go. Also, there is no internal memory for scanned items, so to do any scanning whatsoever, you need the SD card. Best get that along with purchasing the scanner.

The scanner is perfect for the office or quickly capturing an image or two off a book page, however, although small and thin, don't expect it to get into those hard to reach corners of large books. Though designed to get to most places other scanners cannot, to truly scan an entire book, you'll need to separate the binding in which case you'll be just as well off with a flat bed scanner. But the scanner is still a good accessory for the student on the go.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend this product.

This is more than I had even hoped for. Love it to take to the library when doing research. It eliminates having to take notes as you can just scan and take home to put on your computer. It is a great time saving tool.

Let me preface by saying this is my 4th scanner. Not the 4th scanner I've ever owned but rather the 4th scanner I have in operation. I would also add there's a bit of science when you're using this type of scanner (IE handheld you manually move over the document.)

I have a scanner dedicated to slides/photos, one dedicated to multi page documents (IE credit card/bank/investment statements) & one to thermal receipts (IE grocery, drugstore, etc.)

OTOH, this scanner will live in my tote bag & is for those items you do not anticipate. My 93 y/o mother lives in assisted living. There are times when she needs particular tests and I like scanning the paperwork before handing it over to the health care "professionals" but I don't have the luxury of going home & scanning it there. Also, since she's legally blind, there are things she wants me to look at & I like scanning it so I have a "copy" at home on my computer. (Very helpful when trying to help a legally blind person "over the phone.")

I was somewhat skeptical about getting this scanner. It just didn't seem like it should be able to do what it purported to do. But I really needed something like this , and at this price, well... It arrived, sans the micro SD chip, as promised. Since it only functions with the chip, they really should include one, but such is life. The gist of it all is that it works great. It does take some slight practice to make sure that you scan the pages smoothly, but it does most of the work itself. The results are simply amazing. The scans are crystal clear and exactly like the material scanned. I found myself scanning practically everything in sight just for the fun and practice. But it is not a toy. As a lawyer I often find the need to scan documents or reference materials. This tool fits easily in my briefcase with all my books and files. Its best function is that it does need a bulky computer to go with it. It scans right to the micro chip inside it. With a few gigabit chip, you could scan an encyclopedia (not that you would want to). Back at the office I simply plug the chip into a chip reader, or attach the included USB cord, and down load the file in PDF format. Couldn't be easier.

Although the soft cover that comes with the scanner is probably suitable, I would, and did, opt for the hard case. It provides a certain comfort level, considering all the other stuff crammed into my briefcase.

This scanner is absolutely amazing. I took it to a family reunion with me and we had never met this side of the family. They had all kinds of photo albums and I was able to scan every single picture in the albums and scrapbooks. I was able to crop and edit the pictures when I got home. They all had great quality. Love IT...I recommended it to a family member and she bought herself one as well. Great Product!!!!

I bought this and a handful of other cases ranging between $4 and $9 just to check them out. I have a simple black neoprene case that I originally got for my iPad 1 and it has given me significantly good service. It was wearing a bit, so I wanted to see what else was out there, but didn't want to spend too much. This case is quite nice. It has a side pouch that zips up. It is great for power cords and whatnot. On the inside there is something that looks like a business card holder with two sections(not sure what it is for, really). There is also a neoprene lip on the inside to hold your iPad back, I guess. It's a nice little pouch at a heck of a good price(I got it around 8 with free shipping through Prime). I highly recommend.

DBTech Ultra Compact Mini Tripod Stand for HTC Thunderbolt (Verizon) - Great for Video and Chat

DBTech Ultra Compact Mini Tripod Stand for HTC Thunderbolt - Great for Video and Chat
  • Fully adjustable for optimal view
  • Can be used for Horizontal or Vertical view
  • Spring Clamp with Rubber pads holds your device securily
  • Sleek Design - Metal Legs
  • Folds flat for portability

I bought this to use with the excellent LapseIt timelapse video application (no affiliation). Not sure where they're getting the "Dobi Design" or "for HTC Thunderbolt" part; this is a FotoPro brand, pretty-much-universal smartphone tripod. The attachment mechanism is a padded clamp and would work well for holding any phone the size of the Thunderbolt or smaller. The Thunderbolt is probably the upper limit for width though. The tripod is solidly built, out of metal on the legs and hinges and strong plastic on the clamp. The only annoyance is that the center of gravity of the phone is held out over the two legs in the front, making it less stable than it could be.

Peek Mobile E-mail Device (Cherry)

Peek Mobile E-mail DeviceMy girlfriend uses her Peek with GMail and she loves it. She already has a phone and doesn't need all the extra bells and whistles that most people don't use anyway. The setup is super easy; just put in your email address and password and that's it! It's super slim and stylish and does email in a snap. If you are not techie and want email on the go this is the gizmo for you.

Family members love using their Peek. It allows them to access emails all day and not just when they are in front of the computer. My mom does not know the first thing when it comes to electronics (she calls me to help fix the tv when she hits the TV/Video Button by accident) but she was able to set up the Peek on her own and she uses it all the time.

I saw this and had to have it. I hate being away from my email too long. Too much flows through it and when im away I miss important things. After trying several devices that used WI-FI which in a country area is sparadic, left me waiting more. I liked that this came with its owen service. I purchased it and loved it immediately out of the box. It works great. I have a great signal and its reasonably priced. This is an excellent investment if you are not a tech person or want something simply for email.

Not sure which Peek this is but only Peek9's will work. The older Peek Classis or Peek Pronto, which I purchased, do not work. The company changed service providers and with no notice sent an e-mail to users saying the Peeks would no longer work. No offer or a refund for activation fees, what is now a useless device, etc. Just an offer for you to pay more (admittedly a pretty small amount) for a new Peek9. Basically a dishonest company with awful customer service. When I got the e-mail saying no service, I tried over a period of about two weeks to contact customer service but after being on hold for over an hour every time, I just gave up.

Want Peek Mobile E-mail Device (Cherry) Discount?

Very hard to open package. They use that Chinese junk plastic blister packaging.

Activated online Friday night. Waited for 20 minutes then turned on the Peek. No service (red x on antenna icon). Turned Peek off then on again. No service.

Customer service phone line was closed already. Won't open until Monday. Emailed . No response. And my subscription time that I paid for is ticking away.

I thought Peek was known for their exemplary customer service! Guess not anymore.

Really impressed with this tiny scanner's performance!

I got it more for its small size rather than its mobility, but it's definitely got both! VERY compact. Produces really nice color scans and is easy to use.

Personally, I most appreciate things that have been stripped down to their bare functionality, which is what this is. A very tidy product. Worth more than the price!

  • Use a touch screen stylus to prevent scratching your screen
  • Soft beaded point | Compact and light weight design
  • Length: 4 inch | Material: Metal

This was the first stylus I purchased. It worked great with my iPad. Eventually the rubber tip got a little wobbly and lop-sided from so much use. I purchased another brand of stylus from Amazon. That one was worthless. The rubber tip was smooth and didn't grip the screen to be able to make contact. Until I can order a new one of these, the other new ones I purchased are going in the trash! Be forewarned, all styli are not created equal!

It works perfectly on my cell phone. I would definitely buy it again. Prompt shipment. Considering the low item cost. This transaction was just great.

elago S2 Stand(Aluminum) Black for iphone 3G/3GS

elago S2 Stand(Aluminum) Black for iphone 3G/3GS
  • All solid aluminum construction
  • Featured App: Flip Time 1.0 by omletworks

I think overall this stand is pretty nice and does work as it should, but the design could be made a lot better with just a small edition. Let me explain as I have modified mine and it makes all the difference in the world. basically the stand is made from aluminum thus the bottom is very smooth and on a smooth surface it slides all over, not really what you want, so what I did is glued some rubber base material to the bottom. Now it does not slide on my desk when push on the device it is holding.

Note: to the the manufacturer, this would improve your product and is simple to add ... just ship it with a nonslip rubber or silicone pad glued or affixed to the bottom. Why this was not done I don't really know, but in my opin this is needed and im sure others will agree with me.

Other then that the stand is quite nice and recommended.

Just make sure the one you are buying is in fact made for the device you have, as some have said these don't work correctly, this is not true, they just purchased the wrong one for the said device they own.

I have an iphone 4, this p.o.s. doesn't hold the phone standing up, what a scam, don't buy this... the phone is too heavy for such a small stand.

These stands are small and very portable, and reasonably priced. Only comment would be, you can't connect your docking cable while using the stand. If you'd like to do this, they have a larger stand which will allow that.

Practical for 3Gs; looks good on desk, by the computer, or showing pix/video if you have limited space. A welcome addition.
