I guess I have to be the first to give this product a negative review. I have to take some of the blame, though, since I only now noticed the "USB 1.1" part of the name. I didn't know anybody made USB in any version other than 2.0 these days, so I was surprised when my 4-gig card claimed it would take 70 minutes to load onto my laptop. Heck, the cheapie card reader I've been using for 3 years goes much, MUCH faster than that. I had hoped to replace that relatively bulky reader with this slim little product, but I'll be passing the Delkin along to my wife's camera bag and keeping the old one for my pro work. Look for another product if speedy downloads are a priority.

This device did not "plug and play" in my up-do-date, Windows XP computer. When I plugged it in it asked if I wanted to "format" the drive. I declined and downloaded my pictures directly from the camera. I then chose to "format". It was unsuccessful and wrecked my CF card. I had no problems with a reader from Kingston that cost a bit more.

This product is EXACTLY what it claims to be. They cut no corners and made no false promises. It is very easy to use, I just plugged it in and inserted two different memory cards, both of which worked without problems. It is a great product and I recomend it to anyone that needs a convenient way to get their pictures on their computer. (It is a smart alternative to buying a cable to hook your camara up to your computer.)

I've only used it to read a CompactFlash card, it worked without any problems. I haven't used it to write data to the memory card. It is definitely worth the price!

SteelSeries 4HD Professional Gaming Mouse Pad (Black)

Like some of the other reviewers, i'm not a gamer. But i do enjoy having a large area to work with when it comes to my mouse, and a mat is a necessity for me because my desk is glass and the keyboard tray has holes in it.

I spent quite some time finding a mouse mat that worked well for me -i hate the fabric ones (too slow and 'sticky'), and i hate the cheap vinyl/plastic ones as well (too slick, no traction at all), so that rules out most of the general-purpose pads available. I eventually settled on a piece of thin cardboard, which, despite being kind of ghetto, actually worked incredibly well. The texture of hard cardboard is almost perfect for me. But... cardboard absorbs moisture very easily, and a combination of summer humidity and a year of contact with my hand has ruined it. So i started looking for a real mat, and after first looking at Razer's offerings (most of my friends are gamers, so it was the first company that sprang to mind), i decided on this.

Since i am not a gamer, i naturally don't have any idea about the ideal surface for quick movements or whatever, so i can't comment on that. All i can comment on is how well it works with my mouse (currently a Mighty Mouse, soon to be upgraded to a Magic Mouse) and how it compares to previous surfaces i've used.

First of all, the pad looks very nice. I'm sure a lot of people don't care about that, but it was a factor for me, and it's one of the reasons i didn't like Razer's mats -they were all too 'extreme'-looking. Ideally i'd like something with a bit more of a creative design (are you listening, mouse-mat people :/), but this will do too.

One thing i don't like is the little curve at the bottom of the pad. I'm not sure what it's for, i suppose it must be to prevent compression of your wrist, but that's not an issue for me. It just kind of bothers me, it's so subtle that it almost looks like it was un-intended, like maybe somebody couldn't keep their scissors straight when they were cutting the mat. Minor irritation.

The texture of the surface is what i would consider smooth, but it has a slight friction too. It's definitely more 'grippy' than a standard vinyl mat, but not greatly so. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the smoothest/fastest vinyl mat and 10 being the slowest fabric mat, i would put it at maybe 4. (On that same scale my piece of cardboard would probably have been a 5 or 6, so this is definitely an increase in 'quickness' for me.)

As far as tracking, i haven't noticed any issues with either my LED-based wired Mighty Mouse or my laser-based wireless Mighty Mouse. No jumping or sliding or anything like that.

The backing is nice, much better than the old-fashioned fabric/vinyl mats i've used. I haven't had any problems at all with the mat slipping.

The size is almost perfect, it fits the 'depth' (front to back) of my keyboard tray almost perfectly. I do wish it were slightly thinner, but it's probably not a wish i would be willing to back up with more money, so that's fine i guess.

Speaking of money, this would be my main complaint with the mat, although it's not a huge one. I definitely am happy with the purchase, but for what is essentially a simple sheet of plastic, i think maybe 18 or 20$ would be the worth i'd assign to it. I realise gaming mats are kind of a niche product, though, so i guess it's not surprising that it's a little more expensive -and it is MUCH cheaper than most of Razer's mats (which was the other factor in not getting one).

Overall i'm happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a midto large-sized mouse mat for general use. Whether it's good for games, again, i can't say

So after doing research on mousepads on which one to buy, I decided to get the 4HD. I'm not the type of gamer that takes up a whole lot of space, I generally play with my wrist area mounted and I pick up the mouse quite a bit. The mousepad is a good price, not really big, sticks well to the surface, it doesn't slide around all easily or w/e.

I was thinking about getting a Puretrak Talent, however, I saw a youtube video that showed the acceleration on that one against the 4HD. Perhaps a big factor in why I chose the 4HD.

Laser mice -> hard surface

I use a G9X on the 4HD and it's been good, and the surface is not all slippery, you still have control!

My old cheap Belkin pad was falling apart so I figured it was time to upgrade. I bought this as I have a Razor Mamba gaming mouse and figured a gaming mouse pad would fit. I received the pad and it is a really nice sturdy pad and well constructed and looks great. I got it home and my mouse wouldn't track on it at all. I put my old cloth pad back in place and it works fine. Swapped back to the new pad and still nothing. I was very disappointed. After doing some research I found that they recommended taking the feet of the mouse and things along those lines. I wasn't very keen on destroying my expensive mouse to get a $20 mouse pad to work, so I checked out the Razor site.

The mouse has a Surface Calibration tool that fixed my issue. Unplug your mouse, put it on the new pad and plug it in. It will then calibrate to the surface that you are going to be using. I haven't had an issue with it since.

I've been resisting buying a mouse pad for a long time. I didn't see the point of a mouse pad for gaming or otherwise. I'm one that looks at these items as novelties marketed to gamers because we've shown to the world we have a lot of money to spend on brand names and terrible software. So I hesitated here, considering the overpriced nature of products from Razer and Saitek amongst others.

A friend of mine allowed me to play games on his mousepad, a Cyborg V.5 Gaming Surface It was pretty sexy, but I found the mouse too floaty on one of the sides, and too rough and ghostly on the other. Both were smooth, but they were extremes of 'smooth' I wasn't comfortable with. However what it did do, was make me realize that a mousepad is something more than just a piece of plastic. The dynamics of the surface really do make a difference~!

I ordered the Steelseries product on the fact that I had one of their headphones and have used their mice and keyboards so I knew Steelseries to be of good minimalistic quality. So I plunked down the change and decided to give it a chance with low expectation. My friend had a brand new gaming mouse, my old Logitech couldn't possibly fare that well I thought.

Boy was I surprised to feel the texture on this pad. It felt slightly rough to the touch, but the mouse took to it like it was on velvet ice. I say velvet because despite the fact this mouse floats over the surface like it was made of gel, it has a slight sense of friction that gives you a bit of feedback to the hand. This allows me to make small movements even on high sensitivity, and I can stop the mouse on a dime regardless of the sensitivity of the game.

It took some adjustment, but I found that this pad was far better than any of the cloth pads I've ever used, and better than the Cyborg v.5 pad my friend had. It's right in the sweet spot of smooth and textured that I needed, and compared to all the other plastic mouse pads out there~ this was in a delicious pricepoint.

Definitely going to be considering Steelseries' products in the future. :)

The Palm Tungsten T5 ... came quickly, after a couple days I found out how to reset the palm pilot though the reset hole on the back. The palm pilot comes with a stylus on the side that can be used to type things in, write things in (which can convert to typed), and the black end cap can come off to be used in the reset hole. The Hot Sync cables, CD, and Charger were nice additions, but some other things like the cradle kit, and two items that look simular to outlet covers that it came with I don't know what their used for. Extra memory would be helpfull which I sent for. I don't know yet if I could use more than 1GB of memory with it, in a review about a memory card somebody who had a Tungsten T3 couldn't use more than 1.5GB with their palm pilot, but said other Tungstens were allright. The product was labeled used but, in very good condition and I believe that it was refering to the old software. The date before the palm pilot was reset was June 2004. Text documents can be converted through Microsoft Office Word 2007, and the "find" feature can be very beneficial. It came with software to store music, calender -apointments with alarm features, web features, world clock, Bluetooth features, contacts, several word processers, and it looks like headphones can be connected to it

I have a palm TX. My puppy chewed up my original sync cord a couple of years ago. I purchased a very inexpensive new cord that did not have the sync button. It worked to charge and sync the unit, but sometimes I had to start and restart the computer to get it to recognize the TX. Finally is stopped working at all.

I started looking for a new cord and say this one on the Palm website at a much higher price. I went to amazon an found a great deal on the same cord. It works perfectly, no more starting and restarting the computer just to sync. And, the price was less than 1/3 of the Palm website price. Great deal.

This cable is very easy to use and effective. I am happy with the product.

This looks like a solidly built data cable for the Palm TX, and contrary to some of the other reviews, the one I received does have a sync button. However, it lacks power contacts for the TX, and for this reason I am unable to charge my TX with it. I hotsync via Bluetooth, so I don't need a data cable; what I need is a USB charging cable for use in the car, and this cable is useless for that purpose. I gave it two stars only for the build quality; if I had wanted a hotsync cable, I probably would have given it five.

I tried to get Amazon to change the description, but amazingly, Amazon's change form has no place where I can verbally explain my reasons for requesting a change, only places to insert links to other descriptions of the product. Therefore, the change request was denied.

I haven't contacted the seller, since my expenditure was not worth the hassle. I'll just add the cable to the kit in case I want to resell the TX.

I was looking for an unobtrusive Bluetooth USB adapter for my new Gateway LT31 netbook that unfortunately lacks internal Bluetooth, and this Zoom adapter fits the bill nicely! It's priced competitively and is truly plug-and-play with Windows Vista. In Vista, there's no need to use the installation CD that came with the adapter; just plug the adapter into a free USB port and it's configured automatically to be used with the Vista Bluetooth stack. To be fair to the previous reviewers, I haven't tried to use it with a headset or microphone as I have no need for this functionality, but I haven't had even a hint of trouble pairing this adapter with my Bluetooth mouse or BlackBerry for file transfers. I also like that there's absolutely no cheesy branding on any visible part of the adapter.

If I were to really nitpick, I'd probably say that the LED should be blue instead of green and it should blink much less frequently as to not be a visual distraction, but I don't really mind it the way it is. As tiny as the adapter is, I also wish that it protruded from the side of my netbook even less than it currently does. It's not a big deal by any means, but I was expecting the silver connector to be completely enveloped by the USB port with only the plastic part showing. Take a look at the customer picture I uploaded and you'll see what I mean. Lastly, while this doesn't affect me, be aware that the included installation CD is one of those miniature CDs, so if you intend to use it and your computer has a slot-loading CD/DVD drive, I wouldn't recommend trying. None of these things are dealbreakers for me, and overall, I'm happy with my purchase!

the hardware seems to be good, but i couldn't get the software to connect to skype and do two-way calling. i did get it to connect to the headphone part of my wireless stereo headset but never could get my built-in mic to work. so it works okay as long as long as you just want to use it for music or other one-way audio stuff. if you want skype be prepared to look for paid updates to the software they give you (which is an old version) or to pay for another piece of software which is compatible with the hardware.

If you are running Windows 7, stay far away from this device, or any other BlueSoleil device.

I found this device at a local retailer for a lower price and grabbed it thinking it should work out of the box, since Windows seems to have bluetooth down now. Unfortunately, I did not realize there were so many bluetooth stacks now, and that there were bad implementations.

I started out trying just the plug and play approach. It was detected as a generic bluetooth device and seemed to be able to find other devices. However, it was missing a bunch of the device drivers so while finding devices and pairing worked, I couldn't actually use the devices.

I pulled out the driver CD and installed it. This seemed to make things worse. The software stalled when starting it most of the time, and scanning seemed impossible. I went to zoom's website to check for newer software and newer software was available. It solved the stalling problems on start and scanning, but it would not pair devices at all.

I did a little research on the bluetooth stack the device used and found my way to the IVT BlueSoleil site. I found there was a much newer release of the software. The newer software is almost 100mb, and you find why it's so big when you discover the marketing bloat stuck into the software. Fortunately, the device started working with the latest version and I was finally able to pair devices.

This device requires a higher level of knowledge of Windows, bluetooth, and device configuration in order to get started using it in Windows 7. I do NOT recommend anyone buy it. Spend a little more, try to find a Widcomm based device and save yourself some headaches.

I have had my HTC Incredible for almost six weeks and this case has been on it for the entire time. Verizon put it on before I left the store. It is tough, attaches to the phone well, and has a rubberized outer covering that provides good shock protection. The interior of the case is lined with a velvetine covering to prevent scratches when installing or removing a nice touch.

The area around all access points/controls is raised for protection and provides room for bulky headphone plugs as well as letting you put the phone down on it's back without hurting the camera.

The negatives of this design are that it is thick, putting a raised edge right where you have to press p and q and the upper case and delete keys on your virtual keyboard. It also blocks the search button somewhat at the lower right side of the phone. I have fairly large hands so this may be part of the problem, but it definitely slows down my texting, causes errors in typing and reduces the fun of using the phone in general. I have lived with it because the case is pretty heavy duty and I like the protection, but I am seriously considering going to a thinner hard case.

The other thing to remember is that if you use this case with the belt clip, you will have the stud sticking out the back of the phone so it is harder to get it into your pocket or another case if you need to (I keep a nylon case on my camera bag for the phone when I am hiking). The stud is big enough that the phone will sit level on it when putting it down on a table, but just something you ought to know.

The version of this case on Amazon has a different clip than the one sold at Verizon. It looks like it has a little pull out stand so the phone can be set upright on a desk or table. This is a really nice feature as I prop mine on things so that I can see it while working. Overall a well built and designed case. It does work against the thin form factor of the Incredible and the large screen that pushes certain items to the edge of the device however.

Since purchasing my first smartphone in October (an HTC Droid Incredible), I've become somewhat of a product-junkie. I've tried many different cases for this phone; mainly because my old phone was a shell type. I'm not used to having a touch screen with no cover. I tried slimline snap-on cases. I even bought an OtterBox case for my husband's Incredible because he's super rough on his phones. The OtterBox is really too much for my needs.

One concern I had with a lot of the cases I tried was the camera lens on the back of the phone. ALL of the slimline cases left the camera lens sticking out enough that it touched any surface I laid the phone on. No good. The Body Glove case has excellent protection of the camera lens. Just enough depth that the lens doesn't touch any surface.

Also, while the Body Glove has nice, thick exterior protection, it also has a soft, cushioned inside for the phone to sit in. And even though there is a thickness to the outer protective layer, it doesn't interfere with the touch screen at all. The leather book-style case I purchased interferes enough to be super annoying. Not so with the Body Glove case. So far, after about 8, maybe 9 other purchases, the Body Glove wins for peace of mind that my new phone is protected whether it's sitting on my desk at work or sitting in my bag while I'm in transit.

Eforcity was excellent to do business with, as well. Can't complain about anything here. I love the case. It was shipped securely and with tracking. A good purchase for the protection of your phone. I highly recommend both the item and the seller.

I dropped my phone several times over the past 7 months and the Body Glove finally gave out. The four tabs that hold the two sides together tend to break relatively easily. Also, I made the mistake of purchasing a couple of cheap replacement batteries and found out that they were slightly thicker than the OEM battery and prevented me from properly closing the body glove. I did purchase the Seidio 1750mAh battery and it fits fine. That being said, I still ordered a replacement Body Glove because, in spite of the drawbacks mentioned above, it offers terrific protection, feels great to the touch, doesn't slide on any surface and has that cool kickstand on the clip. For the $16-17 price, I think it's worth it.

UPDATE 8/31/2011: My second Body Glove also broke after just two drops. Again it was the internal tabs that snapped apart. Decided to go with the Seidio ACTIVE Case for HTC Droid Incredible. I've had it for a week and, although more slippery than the body Glove, it is a good product. Dropped the phone once already and the ACTIVE Case didn't even smudge. So, if you never drop your phone, go with the Body Glove. Otherwise, try something like the Seidio.

The case is tough and sturdy. It has saved my Incredible from a potentially damaging fall or two. The one gripe I have is the the sides are such that it makes it a chore at times to press the q, p, backspace and return keys. Maybe my fingers are too big, but I'll be picking a different case.

Works as advertised. A good case, but of course I haven't dropped the phone now that I got the case. It makes some of the letters on the side of the keyboard a little harder to hit, but I found this wasn't a big deal. You just have to pay a little more attention when hitting the "p". Why pay more than twice as much at the Verizon store?

I like this skin. It is long lasting, and works well with the phone. I wish that I would have gotten the background that it promised to give us. I emailed the seller and never got it. I am going to hope that it was by fluke only.

I am giving three stars only because my emails never got responded to (and I sent several). The item did get to me and I like having my phone with diff. styles on them. (If they would have been responsive... then they would have gotten 4 stars.) Why not five... because over wear and tear it starts peeling off.... however. It peels like an outer-shell portion and still shows the design which is cool enough instead of having a peeling phone. It's made of pretty sturdy material. I like it!

Very strange... When I bought this item it had a good rating. Now that I'm having problems i.e.: (hard to scan and hardware is not recognizing any mini-disc) there is no reviews. I wish I would have waited. There seems to be more diversity in mobile scanners even QVC.

The replacement battery arrived as expected, and you definitely need the special screwdriver that comes with it to open the pda case. (I tried a similar small screwdriver I had on hand, but it definitely did not work, whereas the one that comes along with it works like a dream!) I watched a video I found online on how to do the replacementit was well worth watching. However, my advice make sure you do not crimp the battery connection wire when you put the case back together. On my 1st try, I did, and the pda doesn't run as smoothly as it should (it gets small hiccups in power). I assume this is happening because I slightly crimped the wire and not because it is a poor battery, but I won't know without buying a whole new battery. If you still like using your old PDA, the new battery is worth it.

This is a great scanner. Very small and light. It works fast and the image quality is good. Some things to note: The batteries it came with were dead, leading me to believe intially that the product was faulty. But if this should happen to you, just pop in a fresh pair and you're good to go. Also, there is no internal memory for scanned items, so to do any scanning whatsoever, you need the SD card. Best get that along with purchasing the scanner.

The scanner is perfect for the office or quickly capturing an image or two off a book page, however, although small and thin, don't expect it to get into those hard to reach corners of large books. Though designed to get to most places other scanners cannot, to truly scan an entire book, you'll need to separate the binding in which case you'll be just as well off with a flat bed scanner. But the scanner is still a good accessory for the student on the go.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend this product.

Let me preface by saying this is my 4th scanner. Not the 4th scanner I've ever owned but rather the 4th scanner I have in operation. I would also add there's a bit of science when you're using this type of scanner (IE handheld you manually move over the document.)

I have a scanner dedicated to slides/photos, one dedicated to multi page documents (IE credit card/bank/investment statements) & one to thermal receipts (IE grocery, drugstore, etc.)

OTOH, this scanner will live in my tote bag & is for those items you do not anticipate. My 93 y/o mother lives in assisted living. There are times when she needs particular tests and I like scanning the paperwork before handing it over to the health care "professionals" but I don't have the luxury of going home & scanning it there. Also, since she's legally blind, there are things she wants me to look at & I like scanning it so I have a "copy" at home on my computer. (Very helpful when trying to help a legally blind person "over the phone.")

I was somewhat skeptical about getting this scanner. It just didn't seem like it should be able to do what it purported to do. But I really needed something like this , and at this price, well... It arrived, sans the micro SD chip, as promised. Since it only functions with the chip, they really should include one, but such is life. The gist of it all is that it works great. It does take some slight practice to make sure that you scan the pages smoothly, but it does most of the work itself. The results are simply amazing. The scans are crystal clear and exactly like the material scanned. I found myself scanning practically everything in sight just for the fun and practice. But it is not a toy. As a lawyer I often find the need to scan documents or reference materials. This tool fits easily in my briefcase with all my books and files. Its best function is that it does need a bulky computer to go with it. It scans right to the micro chip inside it. With a few gigabit chip, you could scan an encyclopedia (not that you would want to). Back at the office I simply plug the chip into a chip reader, or attach the included USB cord, and down load the file in PDF format. Couldn't be easier.

Although the soft cover that comes with the scanner is probably suitable, I would, and did, opt for the hard case. It provides a certain comfort level, considering all the other stuff crammed into my briefcase.

This scanner is absolutely amazing. I took it to a family reunion with me and we had never met this side of the family. They had all kinds of photo albums and I was able to scan every single picture in the albums and scrapbooks. I was able to crop and edit the pictures when I got home. They all had great quality. Love IT...I recommended it to a family member and she bought herself one as well. Great Product!!!!

My charger works wonders. It doesn't come with the long adapter but it was fine because I just attached my previous one. I might even buy another as a back up. It showed up at the house a month before they said it was going to come. I love it so far.
