Nextel i580 Rugged Case with Belt Clip

Nextel i580 Rugged Case with Belt Clip
  • Ballistic nylon RUGGEDTM case for Nextel i580 series phones.
  • Clear vinyl face to protect screen
  • Belt Clip slips over belt

I've had this for over a year. Igot the phone because it is tough. I am a disabled photographer and if I go into the boonies want to know I'm not going to sit on or drop and destroy my 'Call for Assist'.

The case is tough. I'm tough on stuff and can pretty much destroy anything with little effort and minimal contact but this case has taken it well.

My *only* complaint is the thing tends to rotate when getting in or out of my Jeep as it catches on the seat or the seatblet. It will also rotate under my photovest and when that happens it can be snagged on something opoening the phone and running down the battery if one does not notice.

I'm in the habit of checking several times a day to make sure it has not done this.

So keep that in mind. Quality is excellent overall and the plastic key/screen covers are still clear.

Palm 3169WW Universal Wireless Keyboard

Palm 3169WW Universal Wireless Keyboard
  • Wireless keyboard compatible with Palm OS, Windows Mobile OS, Pocket PC, and Symbian devices
  • Operates through infrared sensor for reliable wireless connectivity
  • Full QWERTY keyboard with five rows of full-size keys
  • Comes with Windows setup software
  • See product description for list of compatible Palm products

The Palm Wireless Keyboard makes life easier for me. My information/Review is based on my own experience with this keyboard.

Installation: Put the disc in, follow instruction, perform hot sync, and wala! I'm done in 3 minutes. I don't know why others have problem with this.

How to use the keyboard: You have to turn the keyboard on FROM the PDA. On my Palm T|X, I go to the keyboard shortcut and turn it on. Maybe that's why others are having problem. It is not a plug and play type keyboard. You have to turn it ON from the PDA before you can use it. And by the way, your PDA has to be in place and align with the keyboard's IR to turn it on.

Design: C'mon, it's a black keyboard. How different is that from the other keyboards? You're supposed to use this keyboard to make life easier, not to compete in a "who has the prettiest keyboard" competition. The design is no different from a laptop keyboard. I can agree with others that this is not an easy keyboard to use if you are on a meeting trying to type everything. I can type 60+ words per minute on a regular keyboard but maybe 30+ on this keyboard only because I'm not used to it. But if I'm on my own pace I don't even notice.

Stability: I don't have any stability issues with this keyboard. I used this bad boy on the plane, train, school, ship, bus and at home and I never had any stability issues. Unless you are running or experiencing an earthquake, then yeah, stability would be an issue. And remember, this is a PORTABLE KEYBOARD; it folds so you can carry it with you.

Battery: two AAA batteries lasted me 3 months. Not bad at all. No complaints there. And yes, I use this keyboard at least 5 hours a week when I'm in the US and about 7 hours if I'm overseas.

Overall: It gets the job done for me. I can do my assignments, chat with my daughter, surf the web, check and send emails, calculate numbers and use PowerPoint with it. Don't be intimidated by other reviews. Find out for yourself. I'm glad I did and life just got a lot easier when using my T|X. I hope my experience can help you with your decision. Trust me, you won't regret buying this keyboard.

Compact & Easy to Use

The keyboard is great, stores easily and great for the classroom or to create a portable mini office. First thing: DO NOT USE THE DISK!!! Download your drivers from the Palm website. You will need the driver that is meant for your model. I have the Palm TX.

Second is that you need to play around with the commands on the keyboard to get it to work. The infrared eye is on the arm. If you flip it up, you can use Your Palm in portrate mode. If you flip it down, you can use the Palm in the right-handed landscape mode. They don't explain this anywhere in the directions.

If you have large hands, this is not a keyboard you would like. It's not quite a full-sized keyboard.

If I didn't have to spend so much time trying to figure it out, I would have given this keyboard a 5. With Documents to Go, you need to add in a command key so you can go straight to that program without using the stylus pen.

Thank you to everyone else that added your comments. I learned more from all of you than the so called directions. The only reason why the direction book is so large is because it's written in several languages.

A very good keyboard that doesn't take very much space when folded, but unfolds to an almost full-sized keyboard. The interface with my device (Palm TX) works very well. I had some small problems in the past using the previous wireless keyboard from Palm with my Tungsten T3, but this works as a dream. Some improvements from the old model:

-A fourth row for numerics

-The IR-arm swings from the right and if you have a PDA that supports landscape viewing and has the IR on top, then you don't even have to release it

-The keyboard now locks open so it doesn't fold on uneven surfaces (still, you won't use this in your lap unless you have something solid underneath it)

-To save on keyboard batteries you can now switch the keyboard off even when it is open, just slide the PDA-cradle to the left along the keyboard (may sound strange to anyone who hasn't seen the unfolding solution). When slid into OFF the folding lock also releases, which I like since the unlock button isn't very handy.

After trying a few keyboards with my Tungsten E, I found this one to be user friendly ... at least for adults. It allows you to access the number keys & special character keys just like a regular keyboard (no need for function keys in awkward places). It also has blue icons above the numbers to automatically access Palm home, contacts, calendar, memos.... when you simultaneously press the function key. There's a programmable command key which when pressed with a number will open whatever application you wish. You can orient your Palm vertically or horizontally. So what's so adult-friendly & not so kid-friendly (I'm using these with 3rd graders)? Opening it. Rather than pull it open, you slide it open. To close it, you need to push a little release button. For me, I love it.

Acer Aspire V3-771G-9441 17.3-Inch Laptop (Nightfall Gray)

Acer Aspire V3-771G-9441 17.3-Inch Laptop
  • Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor 2.4 GHz (6 MB Cache)
  • 8 GB DDR3 RAM
  • 1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
  • 17.3-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M, 1920x1080 resolution
  • Windows 8, 3.5-hour battery life

I am a fan of smaller laptops if you plan to actually carry them around. This is a pretty good sized machine, but I wanted it to use in place of a Desktop system, so it will seldom move from the top of my computer table. The screen is great -very, very clear at 1920x1080 native resolution. I actually run it with a second, 24" monitor connected, and it has no problem with the dual monitor setup.

While not a barn-burner, it is pretty fast. The experience index numbers are: Processor, 7.8, Memory. 7.8, Desktop Graphics, 5.8, Gaming Graphics, 6.7, and Primary HDD, 5.9. It also doesn't get hot at all -very cool running. The reason for two graphics scores is because it has two graphics controllers. It uses the IBM controller for most applications, and switches to the Nvidia for games and other more graphics intensive software.

We actually bought two of these. My wife uses here for Photoshop, Lightroom, Office, and also plays World of Warcraft. She says it is plenty fast for WOW, and the graphics are very smooth. When not playing games, we both tend to have a lot of programs open at once. We both teach college, and when we are working on class stuff it is common to have Word and several browser windows open at once. If I am doing research, I may have as many as a dozen sources open in browser windows. It handles this with no issues. I teach photography, and do professional work as well, so it would be common for me to have Adobe Lightroom open and also have a dozen or so photos open in Photoshop at the same time. These are 18 MP photos, so they aren't small files. Again, it keeps up with no issues.

All in all, we are very happy with these Laptops. To make it better, we bought them before the price went up a couple of hundred dollars, but they are still an excellent computer at the current price.

My last laptop was an Acer Aspire 7741G-7017. I loved it! We were burglarized and my laptop was stolen. Despite having the Serial number and everything, we never recovered my previous laptop. I was debating between this model and the 1199 model. After a lot of thought, we purchased this one. I love the screen. It's got great viewing angles, full 1080 HD, and is a vast improvement from the last one I had. The laptop comes with 8 GB RAM and can be upgraded to 16 GB. It also has Dual Hard Drive support. I don't regret my decision at all.

It seems like a great buy, but Amazon needs to fix the specs for screen resolution. In the Item Description, it lists screen resolution as 1920 x 1080 pixels. But in the Product Description it mentions Max Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 pixels.

This makes it difficult to purchase a computer because there is another item that is cheaper than this one but also lists 1600 x 900 pixels as the Resolution. I do not know if amazon made a mistake, or if it really is only 1600 x 900 pixels.

Elago Anti-Glare Protective Film for Amazon Kindle (Elago Brand) - Made In Korea

Elago Anti-Glare Protective Film for Amazon Kindle - Made In Korea
  • Anti-Glare Amazon Kindle Film(film and pack made in korea)
  • Protect your Kindle's LCD without any glare, Smudge Free
  • Non-adhesive backing, will not leave sticky residue.
  • Hard-coated layer provides resistance to scratches
  • elago brand retail pack, Include a cloth & one screen protector

One of the reasons I bought this protector is the claim that is uses static cling instead of adhesive to adhere to the Kindle. This is not true there is most definitely an adhesive on the back of the protector. Other lack of attention to detail is found in the (simple) instructions that describe how to apply the protector to the iPhone, despite having a picture of a Kindle on the front of the package.

The protector also does not appear to be completely clear. This may be fine for devices that project light (i.e., LCDs), but I think it would be an issue for the Kindle. I can't tell you how it performed because I was unable to apply the protector to my Kindle. The adhesive side picked up some particles and nothing I tried could remove them. In fact, trying to remove the stuff on the back has resulted in the protector becoming even more opaque than it originally was and it's now something to throw in the recycle bin.

Buy Elago Anti-Glare Protective Film for Amazon Kindle (Elago Brand) - Made In Korea Now

Okay, here are some tips I've come up with after using this product. First, take your time. Clean the screen on your Kindle with the enclosed microfiber cloth. You'll need some regular cellophane tape and a credit/debit/plastic card. Use two pieces of tape, stuck out to the side of either end--these help you guide the film onto the Kindle, and to remove it a little at a time, just in case. This film is not actually sticky; it just has the ability to really "adhere." You want the scotch tape to be able to pick the film up a little so you can lay it real straight, while smoothing it down with the edge of that plastic card along the way. The cellophane tape should be at the opposite end from where you start laying down the film.

I thought about buying a more inexpensive carry bag for my tablet, then I thought, what do I do with the power cord or the tablet keyboard/charging dock, the stylus? Cause you know when you don't have it with you, you'll need it. So that was my deciding factor in buying a carry bag, but I didn't want a bulky laptop case to tote around either, then I found this case on Amazon and took a chance on it. I'm very pleased with this case, it's slim, it has carry handles and a padded adjustable carry strap, there is firm padding on all interior sides and a padded separation for my keyboard/dock, four zippered compartments to keep everything organized and even rubber feet to keep it slightly elevated when setting on the floor. Comes in several colors, I have the blue with black trim and one very important feature, if you have your tablet in a folio case as I do, it fits perfectly with the case on in the padded slot the elastic strap inside the bag holds the tablet snugly in place. Now I wouldn't drop it off the roof or drive over it, but I'm confident that any 10.1" tablet inside would survive the bumps and drops it might encounter in everyday use. It's a nice durable, well made case.

First of all this product was recieved, as always or at least most of the time with products ordered through Amazon, amazingly quickly and in perfect condition. This case is perfect for my needs. The Thrive fits snuggly but is easy to put into and take out of the bag. I like all of the zippered pockets there are on the bag. It's light and easy to carry. In the past, when I went on vacation I was used to lugging my heavy laptop in it's large shoulder bag and then my other electronic devices, ipod, etc. in another smaller bag. Now that I have the Thrive I won't be taking the laptop on vacation anymore (poor thing) and I believe I can fit everything I used to take in this one easy to carry bag. I can't think of any Cons in relation to the bag. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

My expectation for this product was to simply provide for storage when not in use. Although the case looked good, a seam came open. Very weak construction. Super return service from Amazon. Ordered a different bag.

Want Rolling Ave. i-Circle Multistand/Grip for new iPad, Black (ICRB1) Discount?

Performed as advertised, makes it easier to hold the ipad.

The stand works great in portrait and landscape.

Great product but on the expensive side.

I was quite satisfied with my i-Circle case for the first couple of months: light weight, very little extra bulk added to the iPad, and the stand / grip was incredibly useful ... exactly what I had been looking for.

What changed my mind about it?... when my iPad feel from a low coffee table (just a bit over 1' high had it setting flat on the coffee table charging, my dog got tangled in the cable pulling the iPad off and onto the floor). The i-Circle was worthless in protecting my iPad from even such a low fall the corner of the i-Circle shattered on impact resulting in a small dent in that corner of the iPad. Besides not protecting my iPad, the broken corner piece left very sharp edges.

I have since found the same functionality and much better protection in the Speck HandyShell Speck Products HandyShell for New iPad 3 and iPad 4 Black/Dark Grey SPK1207

I am quite certain that had I had the Speck HandyShell on my iPad when it fell from the coffee table it would have been a non-event... no damage to either the case or the iPad.

So, the i-Circle is a great idea... but, not that great at protecting your iPad from even short drops.

Cybiko - Handheld - CyOS 1.2 monochrome ( 160 x 100 ) - plasma purple

Cybiko - Handheld - CyOS 1.2 monochrome - plasma purpleI got a couple of these as gifts and tested them right out of the box. As others have mentioned none of them would work without the charger plugged in. However removing the batteries and cleaning the terminals usually worked. I was able to massage two of the three cybikos to life this way, with battery life averaging 4-5 hours. With the third cybiko the batteries were so severely corroded that cleaning had no effect whatsoever.

The Cybiko itself is slightly outdated but for the low price of $10 you can't go wrong. Cybiko's website is still running and there are a ton of games to download for those who willing to find them. Its also very durable and can stand up to quite a bit of bashing. However, there is no doubt it is a "toy" and will never replace a palm in terms of funcitonality. For the geek-minded you can download a full-fledged SDK to write your own progs, but don't expect to find a burgeoning community of developers.

So it originally sells for $99. It's on sale for $9.99. What do I have to lose? I bought 2 of them. Let me say that they are the COOLEST things I have ever seen! I have had NO problems whatsoever with them and the website that you can download from IS indeed still alive and well at http://www.cybiko.com/index_uk.asp

I had no problems getting those units set up with the games my kids wanted and they are having a blast with them. (They are ages 9 and 8) So for the naysayers I say either get a new one or get over it. They work just fine! Get one! You'll love it!

I went to a couple of stores to see if the battery was replacable, not one store carried the particular battery. If this problem could be resolved, maybe I'd be able to rate the product again. Bluetooth Silicone Keyboard for iPad Tablet

Bluetooth Silicone Keyboard for iPad TabletTried it in the shop and it seemed ok but as soon as I tried to use it for real I was missing every third letter. The touch is just too squishy and there seems a specific sweet spot you need to hit. Luckily I had bought in the airport as an impulse purchase during a long layover and was able to return it ten minutes later (after verifying here that I was not the only one who found it unusable). Moral: if you've got the iPhone on you, check the reviews before buying! Here's another one I found (...)

Although connecting the keyboard to my Samsung Galaxy Player was quite easy, it started to miss keystrokes (in less than one sentence), then lost connection. I was never able to re-establish the connection.

VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 5570 1 GB SFF 4-Port VHDCI x16 PCI Express Graphics Card (900345)

  • Quick Specs, ATI RADEON 5570 GPU @ 650MHz, High speed DDR3 Memory , 1GB on board memory, x16 PCI Express
  • 3 year limited warranty

This is the very best card in its price range and even for double the cost. I've been looking for a card that supports more than two monitors for ages, tried a bunch and none live up to this one. Plug and play with Win 7. Recognizes monitors right away once you've installed the driver for the card.

I originally purchased 2x 6450 cards to drive 4 displays on my desktop (mostly work but some video) setup. I thought I was being smart and saving money... I was terribly wrong.

The best WEI score I could get was 4.4 (Aero) and my system was running very hot. Worse, those particular cards (XFX) were categorized as "low profile" but the heatsink protruded 5 mm or so and didn't allow me to close my case. I also experienced "static" random lined popping up that were driving me nuts. Unfortunately, they were only exchangeable for the same card, so I was out of luck and out $70.

This card works flawlessly. My system runs cooler, no static, and my WEI is 6.6.

I've researched this for way too many hours and this card offered me the lowest cost and highest performance for a low-profile single slot installation.

Worked very well in my HP Pavillion Slimline for a few months. Three months after installation, I started to notice a loud rattle from the system, which I initially took for hard drive seek & write. It took until this evening to realize that what I was hearing was a bad bearing in the fan for this card. Had to pull the card and replace it with a cheapo unit as an interim measure, because it was obvious that the fan wouldn't even last another day. Very disappointing, because it was a great card while it was running. Profile of the slimline system may have had something to do with it -perhaps it just needed more ventilation than this system can provide.

This thing works fine. it's an easy plug and play installation. And after install, just go to your Win7 display set up and all your monitors are there. You only need to configure them to your preference. But , it's not a cheap video card. I bought it at $175. I see they increased the price to $180+ now. (Tha's why I rate it 4 star instead of 5.)

Follow-up review after a little less than two month: 1) It does not seem to interact with Win7 well. The windows opened on one display sometimes randomly jump to the other displays. 2) It also started to gernerate loud humming noise from its fan. 3) one positive: the price dropped back to $175 now.

I am now searching for an alternative.

Purchased this card from seller "Universal Mania". Card was received very fast, on a Saturday, unfortunately as other reviewers have discovered the weight of the VHDCI connector so close to the PCI-E bus connector pulls the card down (when mounted in a tower chassis), dislodging it, and cutting the monitors out. It worked maybe 1 time in 10, each time I tried re-seating the card. Even tried propping it up with a piece of cardboard, putting a bit of superglue on the metal mounting bracket, etc., no luck. I've used other 4-DVI head cards in the past, typically with a two-port design, and they work fine. Seems like the weight of the single VHDCI connector and the loose fitting, wiggly, PCI-E connector edge on this card are it's downfall. And to add insult to injury, I tried to return it and found out the reseller doesn't accept any returns on video cards, for any reason! Dislike!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :(

Replacement Stylus Pen - 3 Pack for Sprint Palm Treo 800w Smartphone

Replacement Stylus Pen - 3 Pack for Sprint Palm Treo 800w SmartphoneThese fit perfectly into my Palm Treo 800w. Works great. Looks great. Love them. Even better than the original stylus (OEM)!

Exactly as advertised. The 3 stylus' fit perfectly in the Treo 800w with plastic/metallic construction so they seem sturdier than the all plastic one that came with the Treo 800w. Very satisfied with the product.

These stylus's are great. Better than the original. I have a fleet of these devices and people lose their stylus's frequently. Cannot beat the price.

PDair BX1 Red Leather Case for Apple New MacBook Air 2011 13"

PDair BX1 Red Leather Case for Apple New MacBook Air 2011 13'This is a great case for the later generation of Macbook Airs. I have both a 2010 13" and 2011 13". I purchased a Black case in 2010 for the 2010 model Air and decided to get a Red one in 2011 for the 2011 model Air. I realy can't say enough good about this case. It is easy to put on and take off. It does not get in the way of ports, trackpad or keyboard. It is of good quality, looks great and holds together well. It does not add a lot of bulk, but protects your Air well. Note the top floats free from the Air and has a few card slots in it. The bottom forms a sleeve you slide the Air into. Once I got used to that, I am sold on the design. Except for my cat's claw marks, the 2010 case is still going strong.

Casio Cassiopeia E-200 Pocket PC

Casio Cassiopeia E-200 Pocket PC
  • 64 MB of RAM
  • Two expansion slots: one for CompactFlash and one for Secure Digital/MMC cards
  • Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 Software
  • 3.5-inch TFT active matrix display with over 64,000 colors
  • What's in the box: Cassiopeia E-200, Stylus, USB Cradle, AC Adapter, Li-ion rechargeable replaceable battery, CR-2032 backup battery, Pocket PC User's Guide, Hardware Guide

I bought this PDA after extensive obsessing over web reviews, product information specs, and visiting the "red shirted" and "blue shirted" sales associates at my local tech retail stores. I chose the Casio BE-300 for its functional ability, and to supplement, not replace, my laptop.

I highly recommend this unit for those of you who, like me, need a small, inexpensive, yet fully functional color display PDA to record your calendar events, take quick notes, maintain Outlook-like contact lists, and check basic email. This unit does all this beautifully, and synchronizes well with Outlook 2000. The only strange synchronization I've found is that items sent from the PDA to Outlook 2000 are sometimes misspelled, but never in the other direction. I wonder if this is more due to my "typing" using the stylus and the smaller display, rather than an actual synch problem. The entire synch process is very easy to set up, and operates seamlessly for calendar appointments, to-do tasks, contact lists, etc.

As for the lack of software, I don't use a PDA to play games, use Word, and manage spreadsheets; for those, I rely on "real" computers, with at least a 15" display; great graphics card; lots of RAM and cache; a real joystick, mouse, and keyboard; and a true sound system. I just can't do this cramped by a screen smaller than a floppy disk. I know how frustrating this can be, because in 1982 my "real computer" was an Osborne-I with a 3" screen! So trust me on this; work in an ergonomic environment, and if you seek diversion on those long flights, buy an inexpensive hand held game, and use this PDA for your true business needs.

If you've used Pocket PCs in the past, you will likely be thrown a bit by the menu system; it reminds me of the old DOS shells (such as 1dirplus) that don't give you a functional desktop but require you to work through set menu choices listing its functions and programs. That's actually MORE user friendly when you think about the ease with which you can access your programs.

Lastly, you can easily add basic accessories, such as compact flash memory and modem cards. The BE-300 is the roughly the same size as a Handspring Visor, so if you want to put it in a carrying case, you can use one that is compatible with Visor. The only negative I can say at this time (after one month ownership) is that the battery seems to depelete pretty quickly; I use it daily, on and off, and at the end of each day, I seem to have 50% to 60% left only. That may be normal for a PDA, but seems fast to me.

The BE300 is a cross between a high-end PDA and an entry level PocketPC with the exception of the price! I was able to get mine for $149 at CompUSA, and I can safely say that was one great deal I got there.

Though you will see lots of reviews saying that the BE300 has too little software out there and has a 'weird' main menu (not like the windows-type menu for PocketPCs). But if you really 'dig in' and see how much resources there are for development for the BE300, you'll grab one fast!

In my case, my unit's startup screen doesn't even look any close to the default screen and why? Research, and with the help of a lot of BE300 owners and developers for this platform who knows a good deal when they see one (special thanks to all the dudes at the Brighthand Forums for the BE300). My BE300 now has a 'desktop' with the works, including selective wallpapers and startup menus like Windows has! The available software is also growing at a high good rate! Even software that run only for the PocketPC are now being ported to the BE300 (Pocketstreets, various MP3 and video players, spreadsheets).

So imagine...a $149-$199 unit (166mhz MIPS CPU w/ 16MB built-in, beautiful and very clear color screen, and CF expansion) capable running applications that a $400-600 unit can? Hmmm....go figure :-)

And with a full Windows CE Net OS upgrade in the works, the BE300 will definitely make it big time!

Some considerations: get a nice PDA case for protection(it'll fit in the Palm Glove series w/o it's face cover) and get at least a 128MB compactflash card (BE300 supports type I and II) you'll be filling it up with applications, games, ebooks, mp3s, pics, movies in no time. :-) Do get it before they start jacking up the prices!!

I was looking for compatibility with certain Win CE Programs.

It tells you nowhere that it has its own Casio Proprietary customized operating system, that does not allow running Active Sync (which is the interface between your PC and this dumb PDA)

Instead it has a program called "PC Connect" and very few programs have been written for it. Very dissapointing and deceiving

The Casio BE-300 way outclasses everything else in it's price range. I've used Pocket PCs, Windows CE devices, Palms, Visors and several organizers. This device plays videos and displays photos better than the Pocket PCs we bought at work that cost twice as much. Syncronizing email worked well too.

The BE-300 has a powerful processor; 133 Mhz (speed) 64 bit (if a 32 bit processor is a 2 lane highway, this one is a 4 lane freeway!). The screen is great, high color and much better resolution than the Palm. The operating system is upgradeable (flash rom) which means it's also recoverable if there is an error you can reload it. Extremely flexible and expandable piece of machinery.

I found it as easy as the other Pocket PC/WinCE devices I've used and much less trouble than the Palm/Visors.

Why is it cheaper? I've read that Casio wrote it's own interface for the brand-new Windows CE 3.0 because Microsoft requires devices running Pocket PC to have a speaker, microphone and infrared port.

Available software for the BE-300 has doubled in the 3 weeks I've owned it. I've contacted services like AvantGo and Mazingo; both were interested in making versions for the BE-300.

Amazon's engine that compares it to other devices is missing quite a bit of information, probably because this is a new device. If I haven't made it abundantly clear, I highly recommend this device.

Check out an on line forum for more detailed information from folks that own them (...)

I really like the styling, weight and dimensions of this unit. The color display is excellent and it has all of the basic tools you'll need. However, I still haven't decided on whether or not I'm going to return it because of the fact that it's not compatible with most software made for pocket PCs. Casio has been adding quite a few software titles within the past 3-4 weeks but I think it will be quite some time before they will have an adequate arsenal.

I actually sold my Compaq 1650 to purchase this unit (mainly for the color LCD). However, I do miss the voice recorder, solitaire and ease of the ActiveSync software with the previous unit. This unit comes with PC Connect/Intellisync and it seems to have a mind of it's own when it comes to performing a syncronization.....sometimes it will and sometimes it won't.

Loading the limited software titles and program files from MyCasio.Com has been somewhat of a challenge as well. However, I was able to download some game titles from Jimmy.Com made for this unit fairly easily. The gaming possibilities are actually pretty promising.

Besides the limited software, my biggest gripe is that it doesn't have GPS capabilities right now. I'm in sales and I hate to be lost while driving around new territories. A GPS system would probably sway me into keeping the unit.

I guess the biggest question for me is do I want to spend an additonal (money) for a Casio E-125 or another unit of greater price when the BE-300 practically does everything all the others will do?

I suppose limited software and hardware applications should be expected with such a new product and if Casio remedies these few faults, they can really gain a substantial market share for a unit that is an overall good buy when you stack up the competition.

SanDisk 2GB SD Card

SanDisk 2GB SD CardI bought this card for our family trip to Disneyland and southern California. It worked flawlessly. Ignore the review from the guy who bought a used card! I took about 250 high res. pics ( about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 MB each... ) and over 1600 MB in video on my Canon A620 ( enough to film the ENTIRE "It's a Small World","Splash Mountain" and "Winnie the Pooh" rides as well as the ENTIRE Electrical Parade, Block Party Bash and several character breakfasts, plus various other moments. LOTS OF MEMORY and WORKED PERFECTLY and for a very reasonable price. NO COMPLAINTS...

Storage is storage and this works great. The other reviewer might want to buy new from Amazon next time, or learn how to re-format his/her card, that's all!

Good card and good price.

I ordered 5 of these cards from Nextweb. You'll note in the product description that the product comes in retail packaging. I received 5 bulk packaged cards. Quite irritating, given the retail card goes for about $3 more than the bulk packed cards. So I'm out $15.

Plus, I paid $22 for shipping/handling for 5 cards. Nice right. I paid $22 bucks for about $5 of priority mail shipping of 2 ounces and two bubble envelopes.

So great cards. Work great in our digital picture frames, but not real happy with transaction.

SanDisk is a brand I trust. I have been using SanDisk's cards for over 5 years and have yet to find a problem with them.

ARE THESE CARDS SOLD LOOSE OR DO THEY COME IN A RETAIL PACKAGE?

The SD cards from eTech are brand new. From our shopping experience with eTECH, the cards always come in their original retail packaging.

DO THE CARDS COME WITH A PLASTIC CASE?

Depending on the retail packaging you receive, a plastic protective case may or may not be included. I included pictures (see customer images) of the cards we received from eTech.

Card is excellent. I highly recommend it. I've been using it for a month with no issues whatsoever on my Nikon D50. I chose this card because it is one of Nikon's recommended vendors for memory.
