This is the very best card in its price range and even for double the cost. I've been looking for a card that supports more than two monitors for ages, tried a bunch and none live up to this one. Plug and play with Win 7. Recognizes monitors right away once you've installed the driver for the card.

I originally purchased 2x 6450 cards to drive 4 displays on my desktop (mostly work but some video) setup. I thought I was being smart and saving money... I was terribly wrong.

The best WEI score I could get was 4.4 (Aero) and my system was running very hot. Worse, those particular cards (XFX) were categorized as "low profile" but the heatsink protruded 5 mm or so and didn't allow me to close my case. I also experienced "static" random lined popping up that were driving me nuts. Unfortunately, they were only exchangeable for the same card, so I was out of luck and out $70.

This card works flawlessly. My system runs cooler, no static, and my WEI is 6.6.

I've researched this for way too many hours and this card offered me the lowest cost and highest performance for a low-profile single slot installation.

Worked very well in my HP Pavillion Slimline for a few months. Three months after installation, I started to notice a loud rattle from the system, which I initially took for hard drive seek & write. It took until this evening to realize that what I was hearing was a bad bearing in the fan for this card. Had to pull the card and replace it with a cheapo unit as an interim measure, because it was obvious that the fan wouldn't even last another day. Very disappointing, because it was a great card while it was running. Profile of the slimline system may have had something to do with it -perhaps it just needed more ventilation than this system can provide.

This thing works fine. it's an easy plug and play installation. And after install, just go to your Win7 display set up and all your monitors are there. You only need to configure them to your preference. But , it's not a cheap video card. I bought it at $175. I see they increased the price to $180+ now. (Tha's why I rate it 4 star instead of 5.)

Follow-up review after a little less than two month: 1) It does not seem to interact with Win7 well. The windows opened on one display sometimes randomly jump to the other displays. 2) It also started to gernerate loud humming noise from its fan. 3) one positive: the price dropped back to $175 now.

I am now searching for an alternative.

Purchased this card from seller "Universal Mania". Card was received very fast, on a Saturday, unfortunately as other reviewers have discovered the weight of the VHDCI connector so close to the PCI-E bus connector pulls the card down (when mounted in a tower chassis), dislodging it, and cutting the monitors out. It worked maybe 1 time in 10, each time I tried re-seating the card. Even tried propping it up with a piece of cardboard, putting a bit of superglue on the metal mounting bracket, etc., no luck. I've used other 4-DVI head cards in the past, typically with a two-port design, and they work fine. Seems like the weight of the single VHDCI connector and the loose fitting, wiggly, PCI-E connector edge on this card are it's downfall. And to add insult to injury, I tried to return it and found out the reseller doesn't accept any returns on video cards, for any reason! Dislike!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :(
