SanDisk 32 MB CompactFlash Card

SanDisk 32 MB CompactFlash Card
  • 32 MB memory
  • Removable data storage system
  • Ultra compact
  • High image quality
  • For use in digital cameras, PDAs, HPCs, personal communicators, and audio recorders

At 1024 x 768 resolution, this memory card holds 200-390 images on my Polaroid PDC-700 camera (that's like 8-16 rolls of film). The price and capacity are just right for weekend trips or special events. **Go crazy** and take pictures of anything and everything that catches your eye!

I took 89 pictures in 5 hours at my company's "Relay for Life" event on Friday, and really enjoyed not having to "budget" my photos or worry about running out of film. The image quality was excellent, and downloading was quick & easy with a digital film reader.

I'm planning a 2-week trip to Spain this fall, and am considering an additional 32MB SanDisk memory card just in case I get **Too Crazy**. Does anyone know if they make a storage case for spare memory cards?

When I purchased my digital camera (Kodak DC280) I included one of these for extra space. The card works properly and was at a good price. What else can you ask for?

Not much, unless you find that you sometimes take lots of photos. I guess that includes me. In which case you'll wish that you purchased a larger card. I bought the Viking 128mb card, and now feel completely prepared with the combined cards providing enourmous storage. Unless you are going to be away for an extended period, I can't imagine needing more space.

The bottom line is that this card works, but you need to really consider what your storage requirements will be so you can select the right size.

I have a 32 MB Sandisk Compact Flash card for my Nikon Coolpix 950, a 2-megapixel digital cam. This card will allow you to record about 50 pictures at the standard (640x480) resolution, so if you find you're not a 'power user' of your camera, it should be plenty and the dollars-to-megabyte ratio is right!

However, if you regularly shoot at higher resolutions such as 1600x1200 (i.e. 8" x 10" photo quality), you won't be able to fit 20 photos on this card. In that event, you might want to think about going for their 96MB card (also available from Amazon!)

With this size card you might also want to think about going for Sandisk's inexpensive USB card reader it's up to 50x as fast and a lot less hassle than hooking the camera up to the computer!

Want SanDisk 32 MB CompactFlash Card Discount?

I didn't realize that there are large differences between brands of CompactFlash cards until I purchased (thinking that I was saving money) an inferior, "no name" brand. The generic card literally fell apart on me.

After making that mistake, I researched through the tech boards and unequivically, the SanDisk and the Viking disks received the best reviews and the highest ratings.

I chose the SanDisk brand because its price was better than the Viking's without foregoing the quality as I had done previously.

This is a great buy at the current, discounted price. Take advantage of it while the sale price is still available!

The most common application for this type of memory card is a digital camera, but these can also be used with a number of electronic devices, including the HP Jordana, and even your laptop computer with a PC Card adapter. You can store any type of data on the cartridge, and they can be quickly changed between devices. I have never had a problem with any of my SanDisk Compact Flash Cards.

The item arrived quite promptly, and the packaging was all right. Only one problem: IT DOESN'T WORK! First item on the instruction set is to download the free Uxool Flash app from the iTunes store. It's not there. The app has been discontinued or pulled out of the iTunes store! The item itself doesn't work without the app. Why is this item still being sold?! Of course, I promptly returned the item, almost as soon as I received it.

GreatShield Ultra Anti-Glare (Matte) Clear Screen Protector Film for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (3 Pa

GreatShield Ultra Anti-Glare Clear Screen Protector Film for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1Compared to any other brand of screen protectors I've tried, what stuck out to me most was that the edges of the protector don't bubble up at the slightest hint of dust or oils. Handling the shield with just washed hands was enough for a good fitting.

Pros:

Matte finish reduces glare well (though don't expect to see the screen well in direct sunlight, even before the protector that's difficult).

Fingers glide ten times more easily across the screen, finger smears are long gone, and all with no noticeable decrease in touch responsiveness.

Cons:

Protector is slightly smaller than the screen in a weird way. I had to use two screen protectors on my first try because the first application covered the camera. It has to be applied off-center, with uneven gaps on either side (about 1cm and 1/3cm) to make the camera notch line up correctly. Considered giving 4 stars because of this, but the protector quality is still overly impressive, and the gaps are protected by my case.

Great product for the money. Easy to apply and no annoying bubbles. Strong and durable. Exact fit for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

Dislike how much it sticks out the back, but I knew it would be like that. Will still fit in the original case as long as you put it in backward and don't mind not being able to use it without taking it out.

EXCELLENT battery life!

Hard Candy Cases Print Series Case for Kindle Fire, "O" (does not fit Kindle Fire HD)

Hard Candy Cases Print Series Case for Kindle Fire, 'O'I was looking for a stylish, yet protective case and decided on the "O" case by Hard Candy. The price was a little hard to swallow, at $40, but it's promise of style and protection was very tempting. Case arrived today and there isn't much to it. The 'rubber' is barely noticeable. I was hoping for a little more cushion for impact, and the hard case for durability. The rubber edge on the front *does* provide a buffer so that when you put it face down on a hard surface, the screen doesn't touch the surface.

Pro's:

Low profile, light weight very little added bulk

Easy to install just clicks in

All ports and speakers exposed for ease of use

Rubber edge protects screen when put face down

Stylish without being over the top

Con's:

Not as much rubber less impact absorption

Not a high-gloss finish as described

Green is more yellowish/neon

High Price Point

Mostly happy with my purchase so far. We'll see how it holds out.

The colors on the case are beautiful! Better than how it looks online. The case is great. For me, I think I should have gotten something that protects and covers the screen when I am not using it. Recently while traveling I was worried the screen might get bumped and scratched in my purse. Overall this is a really great case.

I gave this case as a gift to my daughter for her Kindle. She seemed pleased with it and it served its purpose.

This case makes your Kindle look really nice. It has a rubbery feel, so the Kindle doesn't slide in your hands. It fits super snug so it won't fall off. Full access to all ports. Great corner protection if you drop it, but no screen protection. Doesn't add bulk to the Kindle, which is already pretty heavy in my opinion.

This is the most stylish kindle fire case I have seen at a good price. Very durable and I love the bright flowers.

Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Kindle 3 (Keyboard) with Multiple Position Stand (Pink)

Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Kindle 3 with Multiple Position Stand
  • Designed specifically for the new Amazon Kindle 3
  • Holds Kindle securely in place for safe transportation
  • Multiple Position stand to allow for comfortable reading at any angle
  • Soft, suede lining protects device from scratches
  • Check out other colors! (Red ASIN:B004AWCBVU White ASIN:B004AWASQK Brown ASIN:B004AW7DNQBlack: ASINB004ALXSTU)

I spent a lot of time going over all the Kindle cases and ended up buying two: This one and the M Edge executive case. I doubt I will ever use the M Edge case because it has an awful chemical smell to it and it is big and rather bulky. The Acase cover however is perfect. Now, don't do what I did and try to get the Kindle in there with the cushioning that comes with it. That cushioning comes out first and then the Kindle goes in. (I thought the cushioning added extra protection for the device, but apparently it is just there for shipping.)

For those of you that get this along with your brand new Kindle, save the plastic protective clear covers that come on the front and back of the Kindle. I put one of those on the smooth leather side of the Acase case that is supposed to lie on the table surface when you have it raised. The plastic thing is the perfect size, doesn't have any adhesive to hurt the leather (not sure how it stays on there) and is very easy to wipe off. So for everyone that complained that this cover will get dirty if you stand it up, that is a nice solution.

I also bought an M edge light and it fits great with this case. I stuck in the left side next to the buttons (which I don't need to press because the buttons on the other side of the Kindle do the same thing). Then I turn the light up and flatten it against the side and over the top when I am done. When I flip the cover closed it covers right over the light and gives it a little protection. It won't protect it like the M Edge case will, but it keeps it all neatly packaged when closed.

That little cover flap got in my way while reading so I just tuck it in behind the Kindle on top not only does this get it out of the way, but it secures the whole case while reading.

When stood up, this case is secure enough. Oh, I can knock it over and so can my cat, but as long as there aren't significant forces against it, it will stay put. And it is incredibly handy. Who ever thought you would use the Kindle for recipes and things where you would WANT to stand it up? Turns out to be quite useful. Those little slots in the front are for when you open it up and you use the brace to fit into those slots. Each slot gives you a different position for raising your Kindle.

I find the quality on this to be very nice. I love the look of it closed. The leather is lovely and rivals any case out there. Open, it fits like a glove (once you have removed that packing cushion...duh!). It is a tiny bit bulky, but all the covers are and that is the point...to provide a little bulk to protect the Kindle. It is no heavier than any other case I have seen.

I would have purchased the official Amazon case until I read review after review of people having their Kindle shorted out by the metal clips that holds it in. Then I went looking and found this one and thought I might want that stand up feature. I can't imagine living without it.

I highly suggest getting the M edge light to go with this. It is a wonderful little light that will stay where you put it and it covers the whole screen. Plus, when you stick it on the site it provides a little place to hold the Kindle while reading so you don't hit those side buttons accidentally. I also find the Kindle a tiny bit dark, so unless I am in very bright light, I like to use this light while reading all the time.

For the price you can't beat this. (Actually, I would have been happy if this had cost three times as much, but don't tell Amazon that. I think it is a really nice case.) And hey, you can always get an extra case.

Buy Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Kindle 3 (Keyboard) with Multiple Position Stand (Pink) Now

The cover arrived with a small tear in the strap that folds over for the magnetic closure. That strap is a hard flimsy material that is very thin and only about half an inch wide (does not feel like leather). The tear starts on the edge in the middle of the strap and will inevitably spread as you bend that strap to open and close the item. Every time you open and close it, the strap bends at the tear, which will eventually cause a full tear and render the cover useless. This is something that should have been caught before the product was ever sold. Even though the item ships from Amazon, it is sold by Digital Media Source (Amazon does not sell this item directly at all). As a result, you cannot do an even exchange; only return and rebuy at the current price. It is now $6 more expensive than when I bought it (almost a 60% increase in price), so if I want a non-defective one, I have to shell out an additional $6 even though it arrived defective. I do not recommend this item since you are not guaranteed a non-defective one at the price you are currently paying.

Update (01/21/11):

The seller sent me an e-mail after I posted this negative review and offered to send me a replacement case at no charge IF I withdrew my negative feedback. The e-mail came from Digital Media Source, even though my order was fulfilled by Amazon. I started following the reviews for this case and noticed that the negative reviews usually disappear after a few days, now I know why. They sent me a replacement (not through Amazon) that had even more tears on the straps than the first one. I sent them (Digital Media Source) multiple e-mails since then and they have ignored me.

Another VERY important thing to note is that the person who posted the first video review (J. Johnson) gave it rave reviews. If you look at all of that users many reviews, every single one of them is for an Acase product (a few different people posting video reviews under that same user name). They rate every single Acase product 5 stars and talk about the products like they just bought it and think it's great. They clearly are affiliated with the Acase company.

With all of this information in mind, I would recommend that you do not trust the overall product rating or quality.

So I finally got a Kindle 3, and I'm so glad I waited instead of buying with the 1st generation. I spent a lot of time researching cases once I had decided I was going to purchase the Kindle 3, and decided the characteristics I wanted/needed were:

Sturdy and protective for carrying around, primarily out of the house

Not too bulky

Able to put into a stand position for hands-free reading

Not hideous in overall appearance

There are several options out there including the case I originally had planned to go with, the M-Edge Platform Kindle Jacket. This cover looks slim, sharp in appearance, and is more than double the price of the Acase cover. There is also the Duragadget Kindle cover which is, as far as I could tell, exactly the same as the Acase cover on this page, but about $10 more expensive.

What I liked about the Acase cover from the description and reviews:

Appeared pretty sturdy, and had a secure way to hold the Kindle (not just corner-mounted elastic or leather bands)

Allowed multiple positions for the stand feature

Cheap!

I bought the red color which doesn't appear available on Amazon right now, for less than $20 (not black because I wanted it to be visible inside bags). Delivery was quick and it came before my Kindle did (granted, the Kindle was ordered right before Xmas when for a brief period of time it did not ship for 3-5 days). I was pleased with the appearance of the cover and eagerly awaited my Kindle. The Kindle itself I LOVE, but that would have to be the subject of a different review! It fits perfectly into the Acase cover. You do have to kind of shove it down in there to get it all the way down to where everything aligns best, and to remove it you also have to push up with your thumbs quite firmly (couldn't really pull from the top initially as the Kindle's too thin and slippery) this latter point was reassuring that the Kindle couldn't just fall out the top end easily.

The cover does add quite a bit of bulk to the Kindle though it's not heavy. For some people, including my mother-in-law, this was a good thing since some find the naked Kindle sort of insubstantial and difficult to hold. I personally prefer holding the Kindle without a case since one of the great things about it is the slim form factor and light weight. Also, when holding it in the case to read, you have to either hold just the part of the case enclosing the Kindle, meaning the flap hinging from the bottom just flaps down, or else fold the bottom flap up underneath and hold the entire thickness of the case in your hands. I personally don't really like this and when I'm at home I usually read without the case.

The exception is when I'm reading at the kitchen table....or any place where I can't lean one elbow somewhere (like the couch arm). I find holding the Kindle in one hand (while eating for example) is tiring. This is where the case is really great I slip the Kindle in and set up the stand, and then just reach out and push the "next" button as needed for the next page. I liked the idea of the multi-position stand, but so far I always use the highest (most vertical) setting, and am honestly not sure now when I would want it in a flatter position. Nice to have the option there, though, I guess. Another reviewer stated that the part of the flap that goes against the screen is, in stand position, down against the table, leading to the potential for dirt/crumbs/etc. to go on to the screen. I just take a look at that surface and brush it off if necessary.

One reviewer of this or the Duragadget (essentially same) cover stated she was able to stand up the Kindle in bed and read it by flipping the orientation. As I read every night and dislike holding anything too heavy (I have wrist/forearm issues and even holding my iPod Touch or Blackberry was sometimes tiring), I was hoping this would work out for me. It didn't, but I'm able to hold the naked Kindle (plus light I got the Mighty Bright Xtra Flex 2 purchased after MUCH research and definitely recommended) and ideally, prop it partly on another pillow, and it works overall great for me.

I haven't taken it out of the house yet, but I would definitely put it into the case, which has a magnetic flap to hold it closed. I would feel pretty secure about this case with the only potential issue being stuff (crumbs, whatever) getting inside and against the Kindle screen. However, this is a potential problem with nearly all the cases except those that zipper all the way around.

Overall, for build, price, and features, this was a definite WIN. I definitely recommend it.

Want Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Kindle 3 (Keyboard) with Multiple Position Stand (Pink) Discount?

I like this case because not only is it leather which, in my opinion is stronger than most other materials used as covers. This case also holds the Kindle in securely on 3 sides so there is no chance of it getting dislodged from the cover while in my purse or luggage. Kindle just slides into the case from the opening at the top. I also like that this case is not bulky or heavy so I'm not giving up the fact that the kindle is small and light. It adds very little extra weight to the Kindle. The stand is so great. I find I am using the stand even more than I thought. Sometimes, rather than hold the kindle, I will simply put it on my lap and use the stand to hold it in position while I read hands free except to turn the "page". Other times, my cat is in my lap so I rest my kindle on the arm of my chair and use the stand to prop it up and read. That makes my cat very happy and I don't miss a beat in my book. The case stays closed by a small magnetic flap and the stand closes in on the case with a small magnet. The magnets are enough to keep the case closed or the stand piece attached rather than dangling out. The magnets are not strong enough to interfere in any way with the Kindle. All in all this is a perfect case for what I wanted and need.

Just when I thought I couldn't love my Kindle more, this came along. Perfect cover. Nice looking. Holds the Kindle at different angles for the easiest reading and protects your Kindle at the same time.

Great cover, Kindle Fire snaps securely into the cradle and multi-angle settings allow easy setup for any viewing direction. Screen protector is anti-glare and the front and back tape tabs make it very easy to apply. Just don't leave it in the sun (front seat of car). The back (rotating part) warped immediately like a potato chip. Suspect the thin plastic inside the vinyl cover shrunk. Will try to clamp flat and reheat/cool to repair.

1500mAh Battery fits HTC TyTN / O2 XDA Trion / Dopod 838 Pro / i-mate JASJAM / Qtek 9600 / MDA Vario II / Cingular 8525 / HTC Hermes / Orange SPV M3100 / Vodafone 1605 / Dopod CHT9000 series

  • Light weight rechargeable DC 3.7V Li-Ion 1500mAh battery

Bought it, noticed it wasn't holding as much of a charge as it should. Peeled back the tape and saw the 850mah rating underneath. This is the second battery I bought that claimed met or exceeded OEM manufacturers spec that didn't (both were 850's).

If you want the factory OEM 1350mah battery for the 8525 then buy the OEM battery like I am about to do. Amazon's price is good at about $11, will find out if it is genuine soon enough.

So cheap not worth the trouble to return it.

This battery worked well at first although it didn't seem to hold much more of a charge than the 2-year-old original battery it replaced. Then one morning I found that my phone wouldn't even turn on even after charging all night. Like the other reviewer here, I peeled back the sticker to reveal that the battery is only 850 mAh, NOT 1500!

Do yourself a favor and do what I should have done in the first place (and did now), just buy the "real" OEM replacement battery for ten bucks and be assured that it will actually work.

I read through most of the reviews for the HTC/ATT tilt and the extended capacity batteries are not much better. The original battery is the best choice last I checked. I bought a duracell external lithium ion batter charger to help out in emergencies and add extra life. To give you an idea, I constantly stream bluetooth, use the wifi, and use a run-gps program which uses the phones gps chip. These activites destorys my battery withing 6 months. The OEM battery stands up adequately but extra capacity is needed to extend life to my activities.

Gray PU Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 P7300 P7310 Cover with Stand

Gray PU Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 P7300 P7310 Cover with Stand
  • For Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 P7300 P7310
  • Build-in Stand for watch video at a comfortable angle
  • Protect your valuable Tab from daily scratch
  • Color: Gray, as the picture

This case is really good for the $17 I paid for it! It smells like real leather and has a soft material that covers the screen on the inside of the case, so it will not scratch your tablet! The tablet fits in there perfectly and does not slide or fall out when you pop in the case, so there is no worry about falling out when you are holding it. The latch you close it with also covers the camera when its closed so when you set it down it can't hurt the lens. On the bottom of the case, the side that you would set it down on has a hard outside edge so it can be protected when you set it down on something rough. All of the ports are open so there is no hassle to try to open something, plus you can charge it wile the case is closed. The stand part of the case is not very well so if you are looking for a case that has a great built-in stand this is not the case for you! This is a case for protection but not really a stand. It protects very well and I would recommend this case if you want a cheap, great, leather case for your Tablet!

I really loved how this phone case looked because all of the other phone cases for my phone had hearts and flowers on it. I knew it came with a belt clip (which I do not plan on using) but I didn't think there would be a hole in the back. You couldn't really see it in the picture. But it doesn't stick out too bad. One other thing is that the side of my case doesnt seal all the way so whenever I touch it, it makes a popping noise.

Transcend 2 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS2GCF133

Transcend 2 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS2GCF133
  • 2GB Compact Flash Card 133X Speed
  • Built In Dynamic Defect Management and Error Correction Technology
  • Ideal for Digital Cameras with 5 Megapixels and Above
  • Data Transfer Rate Up to 12MB/sec
  • 0.1 Lbs (WxLxH) 1.43" x 1.69" x 0.13"

This card is speedy enough for my tastes. Shooting w/ my Nikon D70s in burst mode: I can record 3fps (frames per second) in raw for the first four shots and average 1.5 sec between shots thereafter (by comparison, my extreme IV 2 GB card gets 5 shots off at 3fps and averages 1.0 sec between additional shots). If I shoot with the transcend card in the maximum jpeg setting the results are even better: 3fps for the first 11 shots and 0.9 sec between shots thereafter.

I was able to read 786mb off the card in 48sec (51sec with extreme IV) using my sandisk extreme usb reader. Writing 786mb to the card from my computer (which I never do) was, however, slow: 105sec compared to 57sec with extreme IV.

Buy Transcend 2 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS2GCF133 Now

First, I am not an expert on compact flash cards. However, I use them in my photogrpahic equipment, such as a Nikon D300. I normally use the SanDisk Extreme III CF. I am concerned with two time measurements. The first is how long the CF card takes to record the image after I press the shutter release. The second is how long it takes to download the contents of my CF card to my computer using a card reader.

I bought the Transcend because the record times appear to be very similar to the SanDisk, and I thought I could save some money. The Trascend was less than half of the price.

The Transcend has great recording times. No complaints there. But to download data from the Transcend to my computer using a card reader takes about 8 10 x as long as the SanDisk. I don't know why, nor do I really care.

If money is the driving factor in your purchase, and you don't care about download times, then buy the Transcend. If time is money or if you can't wait 45 60 minutes to download 4 GB of data from the disk to your computer via a card reader, buy the SanDisk.

I use this compact flash card with the Canon 20D. I picked this particular brand because of its price. It's frustrating to pay top dollar for new technology only to have something faster and large storage capacity come out at a cheaper price is a relatively short time.

The Transcend 4GB card didn't disappoint. I tried it just a few days after receiving it at a track and field event at the local high school. The amount of photos this card will hold will depend upon your camera settings and on the ISO level you set your camera to. (The lower the ISO or light sensitivity setting the smaller the file size.)

The card performed well and one must remember that card speed is only half of the equation. Your camera's internal buffer also plays a role. I had been using an 80x speed card and this particular card I'm reviewing is a 133x speed. I didn't notice that much of a difference in terms of writing time to my card while using the shutter and I think I was faced with a buffer issue. I was taking continous shots of hurdle jumpers and long jumpers and taking as many photos per second as the camera could handle. It was nice having a large card to handle all the photos and not have to worrying about swapping cards.

I think this card is a terrific deal and I think I will get another!

Want Transcend 2 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS2GCF133 Discount?

This card surprised me. I expected it to be considerably slower than my Sandisk Ultra II cards. But once I got a high speed card reader that let me access the full performance of the cards I found that it's actually considerably faster for reading, and only fractionally slower for writing.

I get between 5-7 megabytes per second in my write speed tests, which is roughly on par with what I get from my Ultra II cards. But in read performance I got speeds of almost 30 megabytes a second. Compared to around 10 for the Ultra II.

I should specify that this was with a UDMA capable card reader, the Lexar Pro UDMA reader, among the fastest USB 2.0 card readers out there. Performance on gear that isn't UDMA compatible may be different.

There certainly are faster cards out there, if you're willing to pay for them. For comparison, a fast enough camera can achieve three times the write speed of this card with a card that costs around $85 for an 8 gigabyte model. But you need to ask yourself if you both need that kind of speed and have gear capable of utilizing it.

If you're not in the habit of routinely filling the buffer of your camera, if you don't find yourself constantly having to wait for your camera to write enough data to the card for you to be able to take just one more picture, and you're not currently using high end, high speed cards, this is a card to consider.

Four stars out of consideration for the price/performance and capacity ratio. It's not the fastest card out there, but for the price it offers performance and capacity that's hard to beat.

I use this with the Canon EOS 40D and it works perfectly with all functions, including continuous shooting. Massive storage for long trips or shooting sessions. People argue not to put all your eggs in one basket and to buy several smaller cards. I think this is bunk! If these cards work to begin with they will continue to work unless damaged by the user. This is only going to happen outside the camera or while inserting and removing, so switching smaller cards frequently will only increase your chances of damage!

Heavy-Duty Hybrid Case with Kickstand and Belt Clip Holster for Verizon , AT&T , and Sprint Apple iP

Heavy-Duty Hybrid Case with Kickstand and Belt Clip Holster for Verizon , AT&T , and Sprint Apple iPhone 5 ** Includes Accessory Genie Stylus! **
  • Holster equipped with fast-action spring opening clip for quick access to your Apple iPhone 5
  • 180 degree rotating belt clip for vertical and horizontal wearing styles
  • Soft-touch, rubberized and texturized material provides protection and a comfortable handling surface
  • Slim-fit, custom case allows access to all ports and functionalities without removing your phone
  • Built-in kickstand perfect for hands-free landscape viewing

Got this case last week and have not taken it off since. 90% of the case is silicone with the exception of the corners and middle pieces which are hard plastic, to prevent the case from slipping off my phone. The back of the case has matte-rubberized grips above and below the kick stand. This is nice because I always hated the extra grippy cases that would stick to inside of the pockets and would be a hassle to take out when getting a call or just checking for emails/texts. Last but not least the kick stand is surprisingly sturdy, and awesome to use for watching movies/videos or in my case RedZone for football... Definitely recommend this case for anyone who wants something slick and stylish with good protection

SmackTom(TM) 3 Pack Anti-Glare Screen Protectors for Apple Macbook Pro 15 Inches Retina Display

SmackTom(TM) 3 Pack Anti-Glare Screen Protectors for Apple Macbook Pro 15 Inches Retina Display
  • New Anti-Glare Screen Protector for Macbook Pro 15" retina display
  • Non-adhesive backing, will not leave sticky residue
  • Protect your screen against dust and random scratches
  • Only For MacBook Pro 15 Inch Retina Display. Not Compatible with MacBook Pro 15 inch
  • Includes SmackTom Logo Silly Band

The retina display is an amazing bit of technology, and I wanted to protect it; primarily from scratches, but also from repeated wipes to clear fingerprints and dust. Without an actual glass cover, it seems more vulnerable to wear and damage, and I don't want to be paying for a screen replacement any time soon. So this adhesive-free, easily removable cover seemed like a good idea, even though the bare screen is quite good at muting glare and reflections. However, the matte finish, while improving glare even further, does tend to dull all that sharpness Retina Pro buyers paid for. And that kind of defeats the purpose. But I'm getting used to the new look, and I do feel the screen is better protected. My main complaint with this product is application. It comes with three screen protectors, and that's a good thing, because the first one I applied looked terrible. No adhesives, true, but once the cover is peeled off the back of the film, it is definitely tacky, and it statically attracts every mote of dust in the air around it, so that even if you have your macbook screen perfectly clean before installation, you will still get dust particles clinging to the film as you try to position it (which is no small feat in itself once contact is made, the film grabs the screen and begins to seal itself on). Any oil on your fingers leaves visible prints on the back of the film as well corners are especially prone to this. So I finally got the thing on and had multiple bubbles to press out. Do I really want to be pressing on that retina screen I'm trying to protect? Worse, if you do get some grit-like particle stuck to the tacky film back prior to application, and it forms a bubble, you may be pressing it into the screen trying to clear out air not good. My second try was better, but unless you are fast and 100% accurate in your placement, and touch only the edges of the film, and do all this in an industrial-quality clean room, you will most likely have bubbles. I have about 7 small ones, and I will try to live with them (unless they really annoy me, at which point I will try a third time or give up on the idea completely). So I'm not saying this is a bad product, but you will need to be extremely careful to use it and have it look good. Instructions on how to apply the film and troubleshooting tips would have been appreciated.

It is exactly what you think it will be a set of three Anti-glare screen protectors for the macbook with retina display.

I found it easy to install though I do have practice doing this on other devices and i suggest the most other people look on youtube for tutorials if it is there first time with this sort of thing. A good hint is to peal the sticker on the back off as you are applying the protector.

As for the quality of the product, they are as good as any other anti-glare screen protector that i have ever owned or seen. It does not cause color shift or chromatic aberration. They are also are almost the exact size of the screen and i think they are cut well, Especially at this price

When i first made my order i was worried that it would cause the screen to look less sharp. The Anti glare does cause the image to look a little more defused but it is still sharp, and this is kind of inherent to the hole idea of being anti glare

Overall a very good product

I bought the 3 pack anti-glare screen protectors for my 15 inch macbook pro with retina display thinking that they would cover the entire screen, even the black border where the camera is, and all around, but it only covers the screen and not the edges around it. I mean it's ok if you don't mind not having the entire black frame cover, but personally, I did not like it. Other than that, it is a good price for a pack of 3 screen protectors.

Cell Phone Case

Cell Phone Case, Hunter GreenI am a beginning runner who lives in the country. For safety, I always carry my cellphone and identification when I run, and I bought this holder to circumvent the fact that most running shorts don't have pockets.

This cellphone holder is sturdy and well-constructed, but flexible enough to allow me to slide my ID/health information cards behind the phone. The band, which fits easily around the arm or lower leg, is slightly stretchy for comfort. I prefer to wear this holder around my ankle, where it seems least likely to interfere with normal circulation.

While I haven't experienced this, I suppose it's possible that the heavier stitching on the back of the case may cause chafing if the holder is worn over exposed skin, although I'm inclined to doubt that this would be a problem.

In conclusion, this is an excellent product for a fair price. It would be useful not only for runners, but for anyone who'd like the hold their cellphone, ID, and maybe a house key without pockets. (This product was, in fact, originally designed for horseback riders.) I am highly satisfied with this product, and would not hesitate to recommend it.

I love to go horseback riding out on the trail, and I always carry a cellphone in case of emergency. This cellphone holder can be worn on the arm or leg for secure, quick and easy access. The item description doesn't mention the adjustable velcro band is also elasticized to help keep it in place. I have worn the holder on my arm, over a slippery nylon jacket, and the holder didn't slide around as might be expected. I purchased the holder in yellow; it's a bright, bumblebee yellow, with black trim, not the soft, buttery yellow shown in the picture. Not a complaint, since it could be just the way my monitor shows it. Whatever color you might choose, I think you will find this cellphone holder a helpful item. Highly recommended!

I received 2 of these today and I first thought they were going to be too small for my Blackberry Curve 8310. However, the entire case is made of a quite stretchy but sturdy material and it expanded enough to fit my phone. The quality of the case is quite good and will not easily rip apart. As the other reviewer mentioned, the strap is elasticised and adjustable and long enough to fit around your leg but can still fit securely around your arm without having any excess stick out. It's perfect for keeping your phone on you regardless of what you're doing.

Received my holder today and it is absolutely perfect for when I ride my horses. Now if something should happen I can always be a phone call away. Fits my I-Phone with no problem, stayed where I put it on my leg just below the knee and was actually quite comfortable. The places to use this holder are endless in my opinion. I highly recommend this model of holder.

I purchased this as a gift for my teenager who loves to ride horses. Since she never goes anywhere without her cell phone, I thought she might like this, and I was right. She wears it on her ankle instead of her thigh. She's a big girl, so I don't know if it's because the straps are too short or just for comfort, but she doesn't seem to mind wearing it on her ankle. She thought it was going to be too small for her phone (a droid), but it is stretchy enough that it holds it securely.

Royal DV3 daVinci 2MB PDA

Royal DV3 daVinci 2MB PDA
  • Supports an optional folding palm-size keyboard; pen-based input with handwriting recognition
  • 2 MB RAM holds thousands of addresses, memos, to-do items, and appointments
  • Includes docking cradle and synchronizing software bundle
  • 160 x 160 dpi screen resolution

I don't understand all of these negative reviews here. I've had mine for over a year now and I think it's just fine. I only have three complaints: 1)The backlight is not so bright but you can still see good enough. 2)The daVinci script is difficult too use but the on-screen keyboard is great and much faster anyway. 3)The instructions were a little hard to follow on synchronizing with a PC but I managed. My batteries last for months (use ni-cad rechargeables). Other than the synchronizing part, I think the manual was good, short and to the point. I've never lost my data, even when the batteries were completely dead (you are prompted to restore the data select the check mark, not the X). Check out davinciworld.com, you can order a really neat leather case that holds the daVinci, credit cards, money, checkbook, etc. No more fat wallets in my pocket! 2 MB of memory is plenty for me and the 16 MHz processor is plenty fast. Of course you can spend $320+ and get a whole 4 more MHz from PalmPilot and 6 more MB of memory that is unnecessary unless you have to put all kinds of games and applications on it. If you want a no-frills way to track appointments, phone numbers and to do lists, then buy the daVinci and put $220+ in your pocket. I have more fun impressing my Palm IIIc friends with what I saved than they do showing me all their bells and whistles they don't really need. I think most of these complaints came from those who paid for a Yugo, but wanted a BMW. If you don't need a Beamer, try the daVinci, I think you'll like it.

being only $99 one can think that this item dosent come with alot of features which i knew from the start but was rather excited that the software "was" compatiable with outlook which was a bonus. the basic item is fine, rather heavy for a pda at 1lbs and some change. it comes with a docking station and they offer a free keyboard after you buy the pda. this is where the good qualities end. the owners manual reads like an operation. to my surprize it deals less than one page to the computer syn and cradel instead it spends close to half its time on how to write the letters right. secondly for any other computers buffs know that installing a brand new pci/isa card can some times be harry with the card refuseing to get in or come out. One gets this sensation every time you try to install this pda into its docking cradel. theres often a distint crunching noise makeing one wonder if you snaped any of the pins in the pda or docking station.

battery power seems to be a big issue with this product. the pda takes 2 aaa battiers and lacks any rechargeing feature and you have the chance that you will lose all your memory if you leave the battiers out to long. the rathering annoying fact i found was i barely had the first pda a week without con'tious use and the batteris were almost a 1/4 gone. maybe a a bad pack of battiers though this pda seems to have the problem like the windows pda's of high and quick batteris drain.

try to snyc the pda to the computer is also a labours process. you need a open serial port if you still use the older style mouse connection. for the first hour i keep getting "time out" errors then after changeing my serial ports settings i got the thing to work. though for the life of me when i tired to to tranfer memos ie e-mails or short papers (less than 400 words) the memo titles would only transfer the titles.

the biggest issue i had with the pda was its back light feature. haveing rather largehands the on/off switch also doubles as as the back light switch. appearantly one needs to only hold the button for "2 seconds". being big boned as i refered to b4 the pda often turned off or didnt switch on at all.

the finial issue with the pda was when the pda back light was turned on the was a dark patch on the lower right of the screen. knowing it was a defective product i returned it to the store for a new one. not borthering to check the pda till ig ot home this one had an even bigger patch of black gue in the center of the screen. "trick me once shame on you-trick me twice shame on me"

over all avoid this product. for $99 your gettings a pricey game boy. spend $50 more and buy a low end palm poilt or clone or better more get a address book and pen at least they dont run out of battiers

At this price you could expect to have a bunch of features tipically designed for a handheld. Ok, you've got them, but if you're unlucky, the handheld was made on 2000, which means it has a different processor than the original, which means lots of bugs in the OS, IMPOSSIBILITY to load applications designed for the older version, and hangouts everytime. Suddenly, you turn it off and can't turn it on again, until you reset it and lose all your data,...really unstable und unfriendly. Don't buy it.

Everything about this product was terrible. The instructions in the manual were difficult to follow, data entry required too many steps, and the handwriting recognition was useless. I would enter the same character 5 times in a row, and end up with 3 different letters--none of which were the letter I intended. Palm's grafitti is much better.

After several frustrating hours trying to get my new DaVinci to do what I wanted, I concluded it was "defective," and returned it to the company. Unfortunately, the new one they sent did not work any better. If you can not afford to spend a bit more money for another product, I would recommend keeping your paper day planner.

This thing is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever seen. Dont waste your money.

Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Classic Kindle (Latest Generation 2011) with Multiple Position S

Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Classic Kindle with Multiple Position StandI purchased the Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Classic Kindle (Latest Generation 2011) with Multiple Position Stand (Black) and was a little disappointed at first. When I put the Kindle into it I thought the case was slightly too small as the sides were slightly bowed outwards. However after having the kindle in there for a little bit (maybe 30 minutes) with the case closed the sides stretched and the kindle now fits snugly and looks perfect in it. All of the Kindle's buttons are easily accessible and the case itself is very light and looks great. Overall I am very happy with the case it shipped promptly and arrived on time and at $10 was a steal.

I ordered this for my Kindle after reading all the reviews on it. I was SO impressed with this item! It easily hugs my Kindle, keeping it safe without being bulky or clumsy. I was worried at first, because I kept having issues with the stand-turns out, it was user error-I had placed my Kindle in it upside down!! I really love this item, and I recommend it for anyone wanting a great case for their Kindle, and something to make it stand up too! It's protective, slim, and wonderful. I remembered one reviewer saying that they had issues with the down key being blocked...while I noticed it was slightly harder to use my down key, I just press the key a little differently and BAM, it works great! I can't gush about this product enough, it really exceeded my expectations and hopes!

Buy Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Classic Kindle (Latest Generation 2011) with Multiple Position S Now

The Acase folder case for the Kindle is very attractive. It fits my Kindle (the $79 variety) snugly, allowing access through cut-outs to side and bottom controls. Unlike a book style case, the Acase is a folder that opens vertically: you flip down the front panel, which has an inset of ribbed plastic to support a strip that allows the case to set up an an easel. Very useful for airplanes! I haven't had much of a chance to exercise the case yet, but -looking ahead -I can see that the two leather strips making up the bottom hinge MIGHT over time crack or split. But who knows? I like the look of the case very much:: brown stitched leather. Looks like a Coach product, very classy. I admit I like the Acase line; my iPhone has been happy in one for over a year. The case for the Kindle looks like it too will do the job for me.

Overall, I really like this case. It is a nice, soft, handsome black case. The stand can be used in multiple positions, which is great. The case folds into a small, compact shape, which makes it easy to hold in your hand. The only thing that I can find fault with, is the bottom lip of the case. At least for me, it is right under the down arrow, which makes it harder for me to click it with my finger. I had a stylus on hand, so I've started using it, which works really well.

Want Acase Genuine Leather Flip Case for Classic Kindle (Latest Generation 2011) with Multiple Position S Discount?

Had a previous version of this product from the same manufacturer, for the Kindle 3 Keyboard. The old one fit much better, tolerances were closer. My Kindle 4 (non-Touch) is quite loose and there's an annoying air gap between the leather and the right hand page turn buttons, and the leather overhangs the left hand buttons (making them difficult to press without hand contortions. At the bottom, the leather is right against the 5-way button...makes it difficult to use the 'down' function.

It isn't unusable, just more annoying than it needs to be. I suppose one shouldn't expect much for this price, still I'm disappointed it's so much worse than the last product I bought from this seller.
