Hard Candy Cases Print Series Case for Kindle Fire, "O" (does not fit Kindle Fire HD)

I was looking for a stylish, yet protective case and decided on the "O" case by Hard Candy. The price was a little hard to swallow, at $40, but it's promise of style and protection was very tempting. Case arrived today and there isn't much to it. The 'rubber' is barely noticeable. I was hoping for a little more cushion for impact, and the hard case for durability. The rubber edge on the front *does* provide a buffer so that when you put it face down on a hard surface, the screen doesn't touch the surface.

The colors on the case are beautiful! Better than how it looks online. The case is great. For me, I think I should have gotten something that protects and covers the screen when I am not using it. Recently while traveling I was worried the screen might get bumped and scratched in my purse. Overall this is a really great case.

This case makes your Kindle look really nice. It has a rubbery feel, so the Kindle doesn't slide in your hands. It fits super snug so it won't fall off. Full access to all ports. Great corner protection if you drop it, but no screen protection. Doesn't add bulk to the Kindle, which is already pretty heavy in my opinion.

Great set of earbuds with microphone. It works with my Chocolate Touch. The phone answer/microphone is cover with hard casing for additional sturdyness. It also has a small clip that comes in handy so you don't accidently stretch out the cords which is how I usually kill my earbuds. I would definitely recommend and order again.

These headphones are okay if you are looking for something quick and cheap to buy as I was.

They are not good for music, there is a bit of an echo when they are in your ears, and if you cover over the holes in the back of the chamber, the sound is actually better.

For talk they actually are farely good. The sound is not bad if you are talking to someone cell to cell. The problem with the microphone is that when you aren't talking directly into the mic, say you have it clipped on your shirt, the other person will say you are talking too low and ask you to speak louder.

There are many other brands that are better if you don't mind spending the money; these are just temporary. They aren't even a brand. The shipping was very quick though, I have to give that to the seller.

I would suggest this to anyone who plunks down the cash for the Tungsten T5. The cradle is reasonably sturdy/heavy/unlikely to fall over when your PDA is sitting in it and looks reasonably nice on your desk. I also think it is much easier than messing around with the cheap adapter and USB cable which comes in the box.

The only thing I don't like about it is the annoying light that is ALWAYS on! If you look in the picture, it is the light gray/non-silver part. It catches the corner of my eye and has been surprisingly distracting -so much so that I have had to unplug it. Otherwise, I'd have to say it's great and give it all five stars!

I just purchased this cradle for my new Palm Tungsten E2. On the positive side, it is light, easy to assemble, and looks nice on the desktop. It is much more attractive than the sync and power cables being exposed in plain view. It also stays put on my desk, not slipping and sliding as other reviews have described. The price here on Amazon is superb in comparison to almost twice as money at most other places. On the negative side, it seems flimsy, and I fear breaking the prongs when connecting and disconnecting my Palm. A switch for the light would have also been a huge plus. As is, the light is always on, which can be annoying and even distracting.

I've used the older Palm cradles, and felt they were much better designed and much more durable. Although attractive and sleek, this cradle appears to have suffered from excessive cost cutting. It's good, but could have been much better.

Own a Palm TX? Avoid this at all costs!

As others have noted, and as documented on the Palm support forums, this cradle has a major incompatibility with the Palm TX. It will cause the Palm TX to lockup, requiring a soft reset (using the reset hole on the back). There is unfortunately no solution, and no predicting when the lock will occur. Sometimes, after one HotSync it will lock, sometimes if the computer is placed into sleep and then reawakened, other times just sitting there.

Palm has a patch on their site that supposedly fixes this problem, but it actually makes matters worse with the patch installed, the TX will lock when not even docked. DON'T install the patch!

Interestingly, the problem appears to be a hardware design flaw of the cradle itself. If you plug the TX into the included connector, and NOT the cradle, no problems! I suspect it has something to do with the silly LED light that always stays on perhaps a static discharge problem.

The cradle is a very simple device it merely extends the sync cable to allow the Palm to sit upright and be viewable next to your computer monitor. That's nice. The trouble is that the connection between the palm and the cradle doesn't lock. Also the connection between the sync cable and the cradle doesn't lock either (it's exactly the same connector). Palm designed these connectors to be easy to connect and disconnect which is great when connecting the Palm to the sync cable. The problem is that the connection between the sync cable and the cradle need to be secure and it isn't. When the connection becomes loose you get bad syncs, data corruption, freezes, etc... We've had no end of trouble with these on our network because of this issue. The fix is to unmate and remate the cable connections easy enough, but the periodic problems have led me to ban these cradles from our list of supported gear.

Some others have complained about the blue LED light. You need this light to tell you when you've got the Palm properly seated in the cradle otherwise you might not know you've got it down onto the connector far enough. I think of the light as a feature not a problem.

The ultimate solution would be a pair of wire bails on the back of the cradle that you'd use to lock the sync cable on. Too bad they didn't think of that.

If you like the executive portfolio, this may suit your needs. I really wanted a more simple RooCase like I had for my N7. That is not the fault of this case. I think this case is great for toting around your 7.7 but to use the 7.7, this case is less than ideal. For one, The zippers don't open far enough to use the 7.7 in portrait position. If if you pull the case open the zippers slide further into the case and allow it to open more but then it is a struggle to close it. All in all, I'm going with the Poetic case. I think RooCase makes a simple Portfolio case for the 7.7 but Amazon does not sell it at this time.

I bought this USB hub for the sole purpose of providing supplemental power to an external hard drive. The hard drive is a Western Digital passport that has 3.0/2.0 capabilities so this hub was ideal. The PS3, like many laptops, does not have the power to support some of the larger external drives that exist. It is self powered (AC plug included) and it can also support 3.0/2.0. The only downside to this unit, and it is not enough to reduce my rating, is that the USB hub is not powered all of the time. The hub is only active when the primary USB output is activated. Having power full time would be nice for charging controllers, iPods, etc. Overall a great product that works great.

Hub works great. Computer recognizes everything connected to it. Wish it had more than 4 ports. Sometimes does not "wake up", or takes what I consider a too long a period of time to wake up, after a sleep or hibernate event on the laptop. Also, sometimes stays powered on after shutdown. I checked a lot of sources prior to my purchase of the 4PT since it was extremely important when I'm on the road to connect more the one USB 3.0 device that my laptop provides. I was looking for a piece of hardware to tie all my USB 3 devices to my PC and I found it! I wish PC manufacturers would just re-route a wire our two and give us more USB 3 ports but I would guess the Sales dept. tells them different, so we do what we can (the difference between USB 2 and 3 is substantial). I have tied my 2 external USB 3 drives to my PC and the powered hub has also provided 2 extra ports to re-charge my wireless mouse and keyboard as well. Just add a HDMI cable to my system and I have a fully functional media center, 3D modeling tool, and full internet access through my laptop. All in all, an excellent solution.

I am using this USB 3.0 hub to extend the length of cable between my computer in the house and a Point Grey Research Flea 3 camera attached to my telescope outside on the back deck. I use this setup to take images of the Sun in h-alpha. You can see some of my solar images on my website at . The hub works great for this application. I can also plug other USB 3 devices into it as I add them in the future.

I really like the wood finish look. It has a nice texture to it as well.

If you follow the directions, making sure to use the solution liberally, the pieces aren't too difficult to reposition as needed during the application process. Which was good as you have all those rounded edges to deal with on the smaller pieces.

However, some of those smaller pieces have come up at the ends which could certainly be due to daily handling, but that should have been figured in to the design...

Overall I am happy with the results of the skin. It looks real good, they've tried to cover all of the edges that show as well as the entire back (barring the trim). Its the just those little pieces...

Side Note: I'd really like to see a broader selection of skin options in the future for this tablet version.

My Acer Aspire One fits perfect in this case and the zipper pouch holds my bluetooth mouse and the charging cable. The items in the pouch protrude so the top isn't flat, but everything fits! The case is snugif I leave the micro USB bluetooth adapter in the USB port the laptop wont fit in the case, which is good because you want a snug case. I have not tried any other laptops in this case so I can only comment on the Acer Aspire One. I would recommend this case in a heartbeat.

This little recorder is an absolute gem. I have had two Dictaphones before and both did a reasonable job, but this one has very ergonomic buttons and controls that are so straight forward that I didn't really need to refer to the huge instruction manual. When you put the batteries in it asks you to input the date and time, like a mobile phone and then you can start using it.

It actually comes with two batteries so you can start using it straight away, and I did. It copes well with all noise even background sound and there is no hiss or rumbling that you often get with a single microphone unit. It also has a headphone socket (headphones not included) which means you can listen to it on the train etc, without arousing the wrath of other passengers.

The thing I really like is the weight, and size, it fits nicely into the `lighter' pocket of most jeans and is smaller than most mobiles whilst weighing a few grams. It has a massive memory but no USB connection to save files onto your computer. It does have a filing system in the machine, but a USB portal would have made this perfect, still it is not fatal. East to use, easy to carry and easy to understand as the screen is very user friendly. If like me your work means you need a Dictaphone, then I think you would be hard pressed to find one as compact , light weight and user friendly as this.

Edit: I have just had my batteries run out and did not replace for two days, and found that when I did all of my files were wiped, so a bit gutted. It did give warning bleep so i should have paid attention, but thought I ought to post an edit to let users know.

I have no experience with digital recorders, but needed something to record meetings at which I am recording secretary. The sound quality was very good much to my surprise. My only complaint is the ease of directions for things like erasing after finished. Also since I was looking for a very simple recorder, this one is a little more complicated in that is has folders, etc. Overall, a very good product for the price.

You don't need a USB to transfer your recordings, you just need a cord with mini-plugs on both ends. Plug one end into the headphone jack on the recorder and the other end into the microphone jack on your computer. You can also use the "line in" jack on the computer. Then use your own recording software or Windows Sound Recorder (Start, All Programs, Accessories, Sound Recorder) to record to your computer. I'm using Sound Recorder. Find the audio file you want to record, press "Play" on the recorder and press "Start Recording" (red button) on Sound Recorder. Press "stop recording" when you're done and the software asks for a file name. It's true that the Sony recorder files are MP3's but Sound Recorder saves the sound file as a windows media audio file. You can convert this to another type of audio file with any audio editing software--I use Nero Wave Editor. I bought this recorder instead of the more expensive model because I was positive I could transfer the files to my computer without a USB or additional software...as long as the recorder has a headphone jack, one simple cord makes it possible! I'm sure Amazon sells the mini-plug cable but I bought mine at the local Radio Shack.

I personally was looking for something to assist me in rehearsing lines for Theatre..Not wishing to spend a small fortune out the onset, I tried this little Sony and was very surprised at the sound quality (very good for annuciation/vocalization which is very important to an actor) and simplicity of use. I really like the headphone and mike imputs......Of course, this is an entry level digital recorder--don't expect all kinds of "bells and whistles", usb ports or ability to connect to your computer. Just the basics....Wish I had one of these years ago. Would have made memorizing lines a lot easier!!!

iPAQ hx2410 Pocket PC

HP IPAQ HX2410. If you need WiFi, Bluetooth, SD and flash card this PocketPC really hits the spot. I've had it for about 2 months and took it to Asia. Picks up airport and local hotspots no problem. Buttons are convenient and easy to not accidentally push. The toggle button is a bit small for my fat fingers, but functional. The voice memo button is especially well protected from accidental pushing, but does take a second to find when you really want to record something. I like being able to turn it on and view the start screen through the plastic flip top.

Outdoor visibility is good.

Handwriting recognition is exception even without training it. With the new `training' feature you can be pretty sloppy and the PDA still figures it out.

Battery life is exceptional, I purchased a 2nd battery and charger because I was going to remote places in Asia, and couldn't be without the PDA. Turns out I never needed the second battery. All day off and on usage totaling 4-6 hours was no problem for 1 standard 1440 mAh battery.

Also makes a terrific MP3 player (I added a 1GB SD card)

The only problem I've had is occasional freezing of the OS. The more I use it the less this has happened (go figure) A soft boot fixes it, maybe a bios upgrade from HP will fix this.

2/2006 update After a year of use. There is slight scratching where I write the most and those areas are less sensitive to writing. A screen cover may be a good idea. I've updated to windows mobile 5 better exchange support a bit more polished interface no backup program. For most people probably not worth it. I added an 8GB CF Disk (ST68022C-RK) Very nice I use the disk to store WMA, there is slight pause each time you access the drive but when listening there is no pause. Definitely uses more battery but still can get 5 hours of continuous audio usage. Still happy with the product.

The hp2410 I initially bought was intended for utilizing my medical programs and drug-dosage guides for my work. The screen wasnt working so well, the alignment of the letters for typing wasnt accurate. The equipment gets three stars for the minor screen alignment irritation, the company gets five. I contacted the company about this screen issue and was immediately assisted in ways to realign the screen or reboot the pc. When this didnt work, a replacement was immediately suggested by the company and a label for ups return was sent to me via email with no delay. In the short time I had the pc I did enjoy the easy advantages it offered me as a nurse, quickly looking up medications. I decided to upgrade to a new pc! The company made this transaction so easy for me, with a quick upgrade payment my new pc is on its way. I cant wait till it gets here!!

Great product. If you just want a simple case on your mini iPad it works and looks great. My daughter even dropped it with the case on and it didn't break although I don't recommend dropping any electronic! Great price great product.

The cover came on time as promised. Super cute color. Fits the iPad 3. Great product, the only problem I have had is becasue it is the gel and is flexile when you are holding the tablet the cover will shift slightly and the movement has cause my screen protector to bubble and lift around the edges.

I gave this purple SmartGel Case Cover 5 stars because I had absolutely no issues with it. It was comparable in quality to the real brand Smart covers for less than a quarter of the price. The only reason I stopped using it is because I need a case with a keyboard to use for school, although I still have this case on standby for when I do not use the keyboard. The rubbery texture of this TPU case makes it easy to hold on to without any slipping. it is easy to put on and but takes a little pressure to remove. That is not necessarily a bad thing because you do not want it so loose that it falls off on its own.

I would recommend this case to anyone that is looking for an affordable alternative to the major branded smart cover, but wants the same amount of protection!

This cover is perfect. It holds my Tab nice and secure. I love that I don't have to remove my Tab from the cover to charge, take pictures, adjust volume. All the pertinent openings are there. Also came with a screen cover and I got all of the bubbles out. It's a great deal for the money. No need to spend any more on these expensive covers. This one suits me just fine!

I bought a couple of these for me and a guitar-playing friend. I love mine, and unfortunately, my wife loves HIS. So, I just showed mine to my friend and told him where I got it.

This was a gift for my wife who owns an iPad and plays guitar. She absolutely loves it! Very soft on the screen, yet the aluminum part is nice and durable. All around great item!
