3GJUICE "Shameless" 8200 mAh Rechargeable Battery for Ipad, Iphone, Itouch, Android, Samsung, Ninten

3GJUICE 'Shameless' 8200 mAh Rechargeable Battery for Ipad, Iphone, Itouch, Android, Samsung, Nintendo Ds and Any Other Usb Powered Device
  • one of the strongest batteries in the world
  • delivers 8200 mAh of raw power
  • can charge any USB-device from iPad, Nexus 7 to iPhone or Galaxy S2
  • charges handheld game devices like Nintendo (all!) or Playstation
  • works great with Kindle too

For me the 3GJuice Shameless 8200 replaces my 3GJuice Major Mojo, one of the earlier high capacity and user friendly back-up batteries which I've used for the past few years. I use an iPhone 4 with multiple apps constantly running, as well as lots of internet activity for personal and professional activities. I am a physician and work extended medical and hospital shifts (often in excess of 24-36 hrs)and deploy on occasion with a disaster medical assistance team to areas where infrastructure is affected and access to electricity is limited. Like everyone else on my disaster med team, I am a gear junky and am always looking for the the best performance and utility in gear.

This battery has a beautiful form factor and is just slightly larger than an iPhone, easily fitting into my pocket while charging my phone on the run. The hard power switch and lack of the accessory led light are improvements that prevent accidental battery discharge. The charging/capacity lights are beautiful. The versatility is awesome, with a single USB that handles both 1 amp devices (iPhone) and 2.1 amp devices (iPad), as well as a DC out that charges 12 volt devices, like netbooks. Every possible charging tip you could possibly imagine is included. It charges by a proprietary AC adapter that charges at 9 volts. It does not charge by USB. Batteries that charge by USB, even when plugged into a USB wall charger cannot handle the same voltage so they charge more slowly. This unit recharges much faster than anything with an equivalent or even lesser capacity. I have a 6600 mAh device that charges only by USB and takes almost twice as long to charge when charging through a USB wall charger.

To know how much I can depend on the battery I have tested it by using my iPhone 4 to the "red zone" on the battery indicator and then recharged to 100% timing as it charged. The battery recharged my phone 5 complete times and to 60% on the 6th round. I checked charge status in 15 min. increments and it consistently charged 30% in the first 15 minutes; 50% after 30 minutes; 75% after 45 minutes, 90% at 1 hr and 100% 1:15-1:30. This is much more efficient than any of the other extended batteries that I have used.

Bottom line: This is a beautiful, functional and very efficient external battery that is perfect for folks with smart phones, portable game units, tablets and netbooks. Whether you're a power user or just want peace of mind while traveling or during power outages or a true disaster where you might night have access to electricity for a time, this unit is the right combination of power, function and utility. The only thing I would add, would be a simple protective case to preserve it's elegant look.

  • SATA II 3.5IN BLACK/GOLD LOCK ROHS

These carriers fit into CRU-Dataport's external drive chassis models. I use the 2-bay enclosure (0023-5010-5220), attached to our PC via eSATA cable. These removable enclosures work with internal hard drives at least up to 2TB (perhaps more check with MFR), allowing you to change just the drives themselves to upgrade backup capacity. Since they're removable, you can rotate several for offsite storage. While I'm at it, I also highly recommend StorageCraft's "Shadowprotect" drive imaging software that SW, plus CRU's enclosure and drive carriers, makes for full bulletproof disaster recovery.

New OEM casemate Google Nexus S gray and pink Case

New OEM casemate Google Nexus S gray and pink CaseI love this case. I have dropped my phone twice on concrete and spilled water on it and my phone is safe and sound.

The only con....no screen protector. A screen protector would make this case PERFECT.

JAVOedge Charcoal Flip Case for Barnes & Noble Nook Color/Nook Tablet (Dusk)

JAVOedge Charcoal Flip Case for Barnes & Noble Nook Color/Nook Tablet
  • Magnetic closure offers hassle-free accessibility to Barnes & Nobles Nook Color
  • Kickstand to prop your Kindle device for hands-free viewing
  • Complete access to all ports and screens
  • Interior pockets for storing business cards, notes, and papers

My husband gave me a NookColor for Christmas and I quickly found that I needed a cover for it. I was afraid I'd scratch or drop it, so I went in search of something to protect it. My first stop was B&N which has a great selection, but only one in the flip style. I didn't like the material on the outside, but debated between it and a book-style cover with a magnetic clasp. I wanted a cover which would stay closed, but didn't care for the elastic closures.

I'm sure glad I hesitated, because shortly after, JAVOedge introduced a line of flip covers, including one in brown tweed JAVOedge Tweed Flip Case for the Barnes & Noble Nook Color Latest Generationand this one in a charcoal fabric cover. I chose the stone charcoal since the black faux leather/suede interior matches. I really like the Fleur design also, but my son will borrow this sometimes and the stone charcoal is more gender neutral.JAVOedge Fleur Flip Case for the Barnes & Noble Nook Color (Red) Latest Generation

I love everything about this case! With the JAVOedge flip design, the NookColor is protected on all 4 sides, but it still leaves access to power/volume buttons and headphone/charge plugs. The flip stand is very handy and keeps my hands from getting too tired from holding for long periods. I use it on the table, or propped on my lap when on the sofa. The front cover, which is nicely cushioned, flips over behind the device out of the way making it very comfortable to hold, in either portrait or landscape position. And there's a pocket for a business card with contact info in case it gets left behind somewhere (important now that I take it everywhere.)

The case is sturdy and now I don't worry about damaging my ebook. The magnets hold the cover closed tightly, but not too tight, without any straps getting in the way. I've read that the magnets are not damaging to the NookColor (hope that's right.) Now I don't hesitate to put it in my purse or tote or tossing it on the seat next to me in the car. I highly recommend this cover!

first off, i bought this used off amazon in very good condition for 25.00$. free shipping. things i like : not to bulky but affords nice protection. the vertical kick stand is nice, but you can also rig it so it can stand in a horizontal position too. in my case, the nook slips into position a liitle to easily, so it can slip out if you are not careful. the speaker cutout only is open if the kick stand is in use, so for my purposes it is not that effective since i rarely use the stand. if i paid 35.00 for it, i would have given it 3* rating.

I've had my Nook for about a year, but since I don't take it anywhere, i.e., out of the house, I didn't bother to get a cover. However, I recently changed my mind, did a bit of research, and purchased this. Wow! It's quite pleasing aesthetically, and it makes the Nook So much easier to hold (if I want to actually hold it; now I can simply prop it up if I wish). It's well made and fits my Nook perfectly. I'm so happy with this, I bought two more to give to family members!

This thing is just exactly what I needed. It protects the NC, works as a little stand, which you might come to love more than you ever expected, and is just a quality product, even down to the detail of the little pocket where you can store notes or a screen cloth.

I bought a nook color a couple of months ago and quickly found that in the Florida air, the rubberized back gets frustratingly sticky after a few minutes of holding it, and started looking for a case. I really liked that this flipped over the top and that it could prop up.

When I received it, I was more impressed than I expected to be. The case is very high quality, well made, with good protection for the nook and perfectly placed cutouts for the headphone jack, charger, and buttons. It feels very solid and secure. I've often had trouble with magnetic closures on things when I just shove them into a bag, they usually come apart, but this case hasn't done it once yet.

The business card slot is great to leave your contact info in (is it too trusting to think someone might actually return it?) or to stick a reminder or quote in, and the larger pocket is a great place to keep a little microfiber cloth for the screen.

All in all, this was better than I expected when I ordered it, in every aspect.

HP iPAQ hx2755 Pocket PC

HP iPAQ hx2755 Pocket PC
  • Intel PXA270 Processor 624 MHz
  • Integrated Biometric fingerprint reader
  • Integrated Wi-Fi (802.11b) and Bluetooth wireless technology
  • Integrated Compact Flash type II (CF) and Secure Digital (SDIO) slots
  • 3.5" transflective TFT QVGA with 64K color LED backlight display, landscape and portrait display modes

I just got the hx2755 a couple of days ago. Overall, I really like the PDA. It fits in your hand better than the 2200 that is replaces thanks to the wraparound rubber grip. The buttons are all in the same place that they were on the 2200 but look better on this model. The screen is big, bright and clear for a QVGA. As for performance, it rocks! I can surf the net faster via wi-fi faster than my old pentium II laptop can on the LAN. I have placed all the installed programs I have in the extra 128meg nonvolatile storage, so I don't have to worry about resetting the thing up if it crashes (more on crashes latter.) It's great for previewing images on a compact flash or SD card and I've even watched a couple of movie clips on it. The bluetooth and wi-fi have great range for a unit this size and were easy to set up. And of course, there's the security features. I set it up to lock when turned off. To unlock, all I have to do is swipe a finger. The fingerprint recognition is great on this unit and far more secure than the 4 digit "pin" I was forced to use to save time on my old 2200. Additionally, for the true PDA paranoid like myself, it has a automatic backup that can be configured to back up the entire devise if the battery gets too low. I can't count the number of times I lost all my data on the 2200 when I forgot to bring a spare battery on a weekend trip.

Now for the down side. It did crash several times and I had to do a complete reset. I finally traced it down to the new Windows Mobile 2003 SE and Calligrapher 7.4, they just won't play nice! Pity, Calligrapher is a great program, but once I removed it, the unit stopped freezing up. Additionally, you have to remember to turn the wi-fi off when you turn the hx2755 off or it will "wake" periodically and run down the battery. The included Microsoft Internet Explorer is better in the SE version but still isn't compatible with many secure sites like Wells Fargo and does sometimes close unexpectedly. Once again, Microsoft has given us a beta version as a "final" product. And last, the hx2755 is so new there are few dedicated accessories available.

Overall, if you don't need aVGA screen the HP hx2755 has more than enough features built in with room to grow. It's speedy and compact with plenty of security features designed for people who need their information to stay private.

This is the first PDA I've owned and after 3 weeks of research I decided on this one and couldn't be happier with my choice. Some features that I really like about this are as follows:

--the security features...I LOVE that only MY fingerprint (I use my thumb) can access my PDA. (my friends had a blast running their thumbs over the sensor trying and failing to get into it)

--there are four different ways to take notes: block, letter recgonizer, keyboard, and transcriber (which is what I use most frequently), and it also has the ability for you to use the stylus and have it record your notes in your own handwriting.

--It was also very easy to set up, although I had trouble at first because I was using my finger (not my fingernail) to try and align the screen, but once I started using my fingernail it was set up within a couple of minutes (you can also use the stylus to do this)

--There are two preinstalled games: Solitaire and Jawbreaker (which I love). This may not be important if you're a business person but I'm a college student and waiting for class to start can be boring business when there's no one to talk to.

--internet: I don't have wireless internet at my house but I do at school and I rather take this down to the coffee and browse the internet than my laptop. The internet on this works great, very fast.

--I also like that if I suddenly get this great idea on how to start my paper or anything else, I can key it up on this, sync it to my computer and view it on Word later. I haven't had a problem getting my files to convert from word or excel or notes on my pocket pc to Excel or Word on my computer

--Also with Activesync, downloading handheld pc compatible software couldn't be easier.

--There are two memory expansion slots (compact flash and SD) that are also very easy to use and comes in handy if you're the kind of person worried about disk space (which this has plenty of)

--I think the battery lasts a decent amount of time. The battery drain problem that people have mentioned shouldn't be a problem if you turn off the Bluetooth and WiFi feature when you turn it off. Another thing you could to keep this from being a battery draining problem is to set the device to turn off after so many minutes when it's on battery power. Then even if it wakes up for some reason, it will turn itself back off and not drain the battery.

--The cover that comes on this is very useful, I haven't had to buy a case for it yet but that is partly do the fact that I keep it in my purse or in a zippered portion of my backpack by itself. The plastic cover and fairly sturdy does a good job protecting the screen. I haven't dropped it yet, but I feel like that if I did, my screen would be protected. A case would be a good idea for anyone who tends to just toss their PDA in a bag as they walk out the door.

I have found this to be very useful for taking notes and staying organized while on the go. It reminds me of things I need to do and I can also keep a running tap of things I want and need to do.

I purchased HP IPAQ Hx2755 at the end of August 2005 from Fry's Electronics, however, the device had an older ROM version (June 5 2005).

I loved the unit it encrypted my data which keeps it safe. This is a very important feature for me and is the reason why I bought this particular hand-held.

It also has much better password security by providing encrypted key as well as fingerprint technology (I decided not to use the fingerprint technology because what if I accidently cut my thumb does that mean I can't log in?).

Instead, I used encrypted key which is a very important and a necessary feature for me, and is also why I bought this particular device.

If you keep important information on your PDA like me, encrypting your data and encrypted key are both necessary. Both of these features worked efficiently I just entered my pin when turning the device on.

This is my favorite hand-held on the market. I bought this device because of these two features encrypted data and encrypted key, which I could not find anywhere else.

I read the Amazon reviews before purchasing the unit from Fry's but bought it anyway thinking that HP must have fixed the problems mentioned already. Unfortunately, I had the same problem with the on/off button that other readers described which surprised me because I've never had a problem with any HP hand-held before. My device did not easily turn off about 5% of the time over a two week period I would press the off button several times and also hold the off button for several seconds but it still wouldn't turn off. Also, sometimes when it was turned on (while on battery), it would go to backpanel lighting (which is expected to save on the battery) but when I pressed the screen it did not light up as it should have (even though I had plenty of battery power around 80% left), so I was not able to read anything. Fortunately, a soft reset fixed this without destroying my data. But the problem kept reappearing. So I returned the unit.

After I returned the unit, I searched for a different hand-held to buy from any company (HP, Dell, etc.) but did not find one with encrypted data and encrypted key, so I decided to go back to pursuing the HP-2755.

I called HP technical support and asked them about the on/off button problem. I was informed that one small shipment had a bad batch of units where the on/off button didn't work. I called back to ask them if a new unit would be at any risk of having this problem too or have they fixed the on/off problem for sure and the technical support representative said that the on/off button problem was due to bugs in an older ROM version that shipped prior to June 20, 2005. The representative was very helpful. He said the ROM software controls the on/off switch and that the prior ROM version had off/on control bugs in it. I learned my unit shipped from HP on either June 15 or June 5, 2005 (I forgot which), so my PDA had the older buggy ROM version. He emailed me a link of the new ROM version, which I could have downloaded if I hadn't already returned my unit.

In conclusion, if you have an on/off button problem like I did, I was told the new ROM version fixes that bug so you might want to try it by downloading the new ROM from the link he gave me:

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/handheldiPAQ/us/revision/9019.html

I wish I had known this before returning it.

So, I am going to buy a new HP 2755 unit, but this time I will buy it from Amazon.

The HP 2755 has encrypted data and encrypted key and I really need these features to keep my data safe.

Hope this information helps you.

First of all I must say that this Ipaq is very well made, the processor is very fast and the scrren display is very, very bright and sharp. The fingerprint security feature is much better than the one loaded on the old h5450. no need to do more than one fingerprint read to get this ipaq working. the security encription is very ggod but even with this fast processor each time it turns on it takes about 5 to 10 sec. to be ready for normal use after decrypting the information.

One of the features that made me decide between the AximX50V and this Ipaq is the amount of memory it has. After loading tons of software it still has 62Mb in Program memory and 36 mb available storage memory. I cant tell you how delighted I am with this device, I have installed two full lenght movies in 320X240 screen resolution on my 2Gb CF and they play perfectly. the only problem is the speaker volume wich is not so loud.

Pros.

*Lots, lots and lots of memory.

*sharp and bright screen.

*Fast, Very Fast 624mhz processor

*Reliable and usable fingerprint reader

*Double memory storage capacity (SD and CF slots)

*Upgradable to Windows Mobile 5.0

*Plastic transparent screen protector. (no need to buy a leather or additonal case.)

Cons.

*No VGA screen.

*Keeps turning on with no reason and drains the battery faster.

*One blue LED for Bluetooth and Wifi. (you cant tell wich one is on or if both are on)

*Not so great battery life.

*The ugliest in shape of all Ipaqs. (but who cares)

*Speaker volume is very low.

The hp hx2755 iPaq PocketPC is one sweet little machine. It is everything I hoped for and the biometric security features are fantastic.

Two concerns, however. First, the iPaq locks up every so often when it defaults to the biometric log-in screen. I'm not sure if this is a flaw in the basic hardware design or a result of a bug in the OS.

Second concern regards the OS. Per a number of "expert reviews," I upgraded from the installed Windows Mobile Edition 2003 to Windows Mobile Edition 2005. I haven't noticed any real performance bonus from upgrading at this point, but I'm still learning the ins & outs of the iPaq & its Windows-based OS (having been a Palm OS user for the last 10 years). But, anyone purchasing this unit and upgrading to Mobile 2005 should understand that some apps will not run. For instance, "Pocket Quicken for PocketPC" will not run. I'm waiting for a fix. But the basic unit and most software seem to be running quite well. The HP hx2755 is a keeper!

Sony MSXM8GS 8 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo (Retail Package)

Sony MSXM8GS 8 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo
  • 8 GB storage capacity
  • Minimum write speeds of 15 Mbps
  • Includes adapter for use with Memory Stick PRO compatible devices
  • Transfer speed up to 160 Mbps
  • 8 GB of storage for your compact digital camera, portable audio device, or PSP Handheld Entertainment System

So I ordered the 8GB memory card from a retailer on Amazon. It came in, and everything looked as it should. Then as I started to use it in my Video camera, I was getting error messages and data corruption issues. I did some searching around on the internet and I found that the error is usually do to counterfeit memory cards. So I looked on the page and they gave a great list of things to look for. Biggest giveaway that mine was not really from Sony:

* There was no product information paper on the inside in several languages

* The UPC had MSX-M8GST/X, the valid UPC does not have the "T/X" at the end, and the actual number under the UPC was for a 1GB memory card.

* Obviously the bad performance of the card.

I talked with Amazon, and got the seller to refund my money and I ordered it directly from Amazon. When I looked at the two packages side by side, there was an obvious difference. On the card, the print was very faded (and incorrect) versus the legit card.

So the card itself is great, but buyer beware of the fakes. Here is a good article that talks about spotting fakes:

if you are buying this for a psp, then YES IT WORKS! It is awesome! People are saying that its slow loading movies, but I've had no problems. I had more wait time loading movies on my 4gb then on the 8. Have no doubt this is the real deal, an 8gb for the psp. movies/pictures/songs can hold it all!!

Verrryyy Niiiccee as Borat would say, this product rocks. 8 gigs is huge for a PSP or digital camera. I use mine for my PSP and I have 3 movies, about 250 songs, 1000 pictures, every demo game made and all of my game saves and downloaded content on the stick! It is excellent, however it is not quite as fast as my old 4 Gig Sandisk card, but you really only notice when opening the videos folder and while transferring from a PC. It is still fairly quick and I definitely recommend getting one if $200 sounds like a good deal to you!

I have two of these 8GB babies and use one in my PSP Slim and the other in my Sony VAIO UX280P micro PC. On the PSP I loaded 5GB with movies and TV as well as my favorite MP3s, and leave over 2GB for game saves. The speed of the memory stick on both devices (the PSP and the UX280P) is quite good. (Sony also sells "high-speed" cards with red markings, which are about 50% faster but also 50% more expensive.) I don't know if this 8GB memory stick is ReadyBoost-capable on Vista; I have a 4GB version which supports ReadyBoost in my Sony FE-series laptop at work.

I own quite a number of Sony memory stick media and they've always been reliable. I've dropped them, stepped on them (actually my son did that more often), and they still work.

Monteverde One-Touch Originals Stylus Ballpoint Pen, with 1.4mm Super Broad Refill Sunset Pink
  • Works with any touch screen
  • Features 1.4mm Super Broad refill
  • Available in assorted colors

This pen is great! I bought a gold one without the stylus last spring and it's been a joy to use (and easy to find in my purse). When I wanted a stylus for my new tablet, I immediately thought of this pen. So I bought a second one in a different color. The colors are great, very vibrant. The gold one is pretty, now I have the cobalt too. And I bought an aquamarine as a gift, lovely color. Plus the gold one has been knocking around in my purse for 6 months and shows no scratches or chips at all, looks like new. Writes really well, also comfortable to hold. The stylus works beautifully. All in all a great multipurpose pen.

Buy Monteverde One-Touch Originals Stylus Ballpoint Pen, with 1.4mm Super Broad Refill Sunset Pink (MV35 Now

AVOID this vendor:

In the REAL world it is understood that when you buy a "pen", it comes containing a cartridge as part and parcel of the "pen" (ie: body+original cartridge=pen). Accordingly, I saw nobody out there selling empty pen-shells or who felt it necessary to mention that their pens actually also include ink; it is just understood that a pen comes ready to write. Also in the REAL world, "Refill" means... additional ... replacement to an original. Commonly, to say a pen comes "WITH" something it would suggest something added to ....extra. ... along-with.

That is the REAL word, but apparently THIS vendor lives in a world where its ok to omit the ORIGINAL ink cartridge, preload their "Refill" and charge you a dollar or two more than the competition for this service ... while playing word-tricks to fool customers who think they're actually getting 2 total cartridges.

If the vendor simply meant to describe the one cartridge in the package... would it not have been more honest to say :

"Monteverde One-Touch Originals Stylus Ballpoint Pen; cartridge writes 1.4mm Super Broad." ?

Hard to say if this vendor is dishonest or simply stupid but...buy your single-cartridge pen from someone else and save a couple bucks on that phantom "Refill".

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Asus EEE Pad Slider SL101 + Lifetime Warranty

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Asus EEE Pad Slider SL101 + Lifetime Warranty
  • Compatible with Asus EEE Pad Slider SL101
  • Virtually indestructible film with unmatched "invisible" screen clarity
  • Made from the same film material used to protect military aircraft
  • Smooth, non-sticky surface with patented layer of UV protection to prevent "yellowing"
  • Manufacturer Lifetime Replacements

Very slick marketing, it comes rolled in a cool custom designed tube. In that respect, however, we're talking about an item that is pretty flimsy and maleable. When applied, one uses an included spray to help it glide on and hopefully avoid bubbles. Alas the spray leaves residue. On top of this there's a texturing to the material that doesn't give you a clean, flat surface like the glass. It ripples. There's no anti-glare feature, and the material used can get caught on a fingernail and torn. In all an extremely low quality product aside from the packaging.

I bought this items with the hopes to have a no glare fingerprint free cover for my asus slider.

GOOD STUFF

The Product is obvious quality

The Packaging is really well done

The Additional Items provided to install this product was appreciated and unexpected

Instructions are clear

And they offer a free one with this review (I will going to best buy for assistance or throwing it away as I did this one)

BAD STUFF

Installing this item is a pain in the butt and Id recomend having it done for you. It is not the fault; however, of the manufacturer that I cant install it properly. Hence the 5 star rating.

I dont know if it is just the item itself; but, I always seem to have difficulty putting these things on with out success. I suppose I had hoped for an easier install this time, as I like the idea of having a fingerprint free screen. But, my screen actually looks better without one and its easier just to clean it with the cloth when needed I figure I paid $13 for a screen cleaning cloth

I went to the Skinomi you tube site to view the installation instructions and although the instructions were well done and clear, when It was over, there were fingerprints everywhere, water spots all over the inside and out of the screen ...and yes, I used all of the spritzer for my hands and the cloth...

IVE DECIDED NEVER TO ORDER ONE OF THESE SCREEN PROTECTORS AGAIN AND JUST KEEP A CLOTH WITH ME AS IT WORKS WELL.

BUT THE SKINOMI PRODUCT IS AWSOME, I CAN TELL IT IS WELL MADE AND BETTER QUALITY THAN ANY OTHERS ON THE MARKET.

I have screen protectors on almost all of my electronics because I am deathly afraid of having permanent scratches on the screens. I purchased this on the same day I purchased my Asus Eee Pad Slider, and I didn't even open the package which contained my Slider until the protector arrived. That's how crazy I am about making sure that I maintain the clarity of my screens with no scratches whatsoever.

The packaging for the screen protector is nifty. It comes rolled up in a tube like a poster might get shipped in. It contains a spray which helps the film adhere to the screen, a plastic scraping edge, a cleaning cloth, and of course, the protector itself. The process of placing the screen protector on is quite easy, although it does take awhile. The instructions are clear enough that even a child would be capable of following them. The only strange thing is spraying the protector with the liquid they include I was scared of damaging my tablet!

The issue with this product arises in the air bubbles. The instructions stated that all air bubbles should disappear within a few days, but I still have a few here and there. Another problem comes up as I try to remove the air bubbles with the plastic scraping tool they include in the kit. Instead of just pushing bubbles out, it catches onto the protector and drags it a bit, leaving it stretched out and damaged.

For the price, I would say this product definitely delivers what it promises to, but there are better screen protectors available at a higher cost which won't get caught on nails and sharp objects.

the product was exactly what I was wanting. It helps protect the screen and went on easily. It's been doing well on my new Asus Slider.

This screen protector shield is made of some fancy military grade material that seems to really make a difference in the quality and clarity of this product. Unlike other shields where you battle constantly with bubbles, curling edges and yellowing, this product stays on, stays clear and does not leave the bubbles that other products do. This cost about the same as other screen protectors but it is, in my opinion, a much better product than the rest.

BoxWave iPad 2 AluArmor Jacket - Rugged, Heavy Duty Anodized Aluminum Metal Case for Slim and Durabl

BoxWave iPad 2 AluArmor Jacket - Rugged, Heavy Duty Anodized Aluminum Metal Case for Slim and Durable Protection. Includes Integrated Stand and Magnet Activation for Sleep/Wake Function - iPad 2 Cases and Covers
  • Form-fitting case designed to perfectly fit your iPad 2
  • Made of anodized aluminum that is strong yet lightweight
  • Secure side snap closure
  • Four small feet keep your iPad 2 slightly elevated when the closed case is placed on a surface, adding extra protection from accidental spills
  • Cover includes hidden magnetic activation that puts your iPad 2 into sleep mode to conserve battery life

Ipad 2 fits snug in this case, all of the holes align perfectly with the iPad's various openings. Some have noted the clasp is a bit tight, which it is, but that will provide extra protection from it opening accidentally when traveling. For casual use, such as reading, the case can be kept slightly ajar without snapping down the cover. What works perfectly compared to larger composite covers is the auto shut off feature. It is precise and does not have to be wiggled around to assure proper contact. It works with the cover lightly closed so it does not have to be snapped down all the way to activate. Incredibly, the case adds almost no width or length to the iPad itself. It's hard to see the iPad is even in a case. My only doubt is how much protection this case will afford if dropped. If you are clumsy with your gadgets this may not be for you. The case is beautifully finished, tight and sturdy, and while expensive, at least you feel like you got what you paid for. An excellent product made in China, how rare is that???

UPDATE 11/15/2012 While this remains a sturdy and solid case, I do have a complaint about the unfinished edges, and sharp openings. I have to be extremely careful not to get my fingers or clothing anywhere near the edges or openings, a painful pinch or cut could result. The case is so inflexible it almost acts like a guillotine. After a month's use, this is a deal breaker, I need something more user friendly.

Buy BoxWave iPad 2 AluArmor Jacket - Rugged, Heavy Duty Anodized Aluminum Metal Case for Slim and Durabl Now

I bought two of the BoxWave IPad2 Armor Cases and my wife and daughter love them. They are lightweight, tough and pleasing to the eye. Which is more important to some people than the functionality. I also purchased a Gear Pod IPad carry case that hold the IPad and its accessories from Levenger. They loved both because of the functionality and looks. Good investment for the price. Other aluminum IPad cases offered some of the features i.e. covering the front and the back was exposed. However this case had all the features like complete coverage of the IPad, angled reading mode, and ease of releasing the IPad for holding.

Does well in landscape mode and seemed very protective. However it was hard to open and the iPad slipped down a little at times, which wasn't a huge issue except that I could hear it scraping against the iPad. In portrait mode it won't let you fold the cover all the way back behind the iPad so it gets in the way. The hinges only go so far and since I like to fold my cover behind the iPad, this was not good for me.

Want BoxWave iPad 2 AluArmor Jacket - Rugged, Heavy Duty Anodized Aluminum Metal Case for Slim and Durabl Discount?

The BoxWave iPad 2 AluArmor Jacket is a quality product. It is tough and provides maximum protection for my iPad2. It covers the entire iPad2 and has perfectly aligned openings for ports, camera lenses and switches.

I am thinking that this aluminum case is like body armor for an iPad2. It adds a little weight to the iPad2, but not all that much considering how much protection it provides.

The case is attractive and opens to provide a stand for using the iPad2 that is both secure and at the right angle. I wish the lid would open flat to the back of the iPad2, but it doesn't and I am getting used to that little drawback.

The magnetic cover shuts down the iPad2 just like an Apple Smart Cover does.

The lid clicks to lock, but is easy to open.

There is one little problem with it. The iPad2 sometimes slips down in the case when opening or closing it. The iPad2 is held in place by only one fourth of the back of the case and that isn't quite enough to keep it from moving downward occasionally.

I added a couple of swatches of that double sticky carpet tape to the back of my iPad2 before inserting it into the case and that stopped the slipping.

Even without my sticky tape fix there was no danger of my iPad2 falling out of the AluArmor jacket, but having to snug up the device in the case once in awhile was sort of annoying.

I plan on using the BoxWave AluArmor Jacket for carrying my iPad2 while traveling overseas by air and find myself warming to making the somewhat clunky cover my regular case at home. The darned thing is rugged yet looks pretty good.

It has a quality feel to it and isn't likely to wear out any time soon.

I'm the guy that researches everything to the max and then has buyers remorse before I even buy something. I needed something to match my aluminum iPod case that PodsPlus no longer carries and this was the perfect match. It protects my iPad 2 to the max perfect snug fit with no slipping. It props up in two different angles very well. So solid, I am not worried at all about the safety of my iPad, even if I dropped it. Kind of hard to open, but that doesn't bother me. I'm glad it won't open easily if dropped. It would be nice if the lid did fold around behind the device, but it's not that heavy and opening it flat hasn't really bothered me. GREAT to look at, very sharp case. Looks just like iPad armor. Would Highly recommend this product.
