Bundle Monster Vinyl Skin Sticker For Xbox 360 S Slim Game Console - Cover Protector Art Decal - Glo

Bundle Monster Vinyl Skin Sticker For Xbox 360 S Slim Game Console - Cover Protector Art Decal - Glowing Vines
  • For Xbox 360 Slim only. Skins are made up of ultra thin and superb vinyl material that is environmental friendly. These are NOT hard case or faceplate.
  • Our skins have an upscale leather like finish to distinguish your game console. (See Close Up Shot Image)
  • Highly durable and prevent abrasions & scratching. Removal of skins will not leave any sticky residual.
  • Does not block any vent holes or void your console's warranty.
  • Very easy to apply skins to your game console. No cutting necessary. Self-explanatory.

First of all I want to say this is a cool looking skin. Installing the skin is pretty simple. Peel and apply. But due to the largeness of the pieces 2 people may be needed for a truely clean installation. I tried by myself and on at least one side of each piece there is a small wrinkle. But the wrinkles are not extremely noticable. But all in all, great product.

very prompt delivery. product is as advertised. Our son loves how his xbox looks. I, myself, would have turned 5 shades of red trying to apply this sticker just right. I gave it 4 stars because it would be difficult for the average person to apply. But thanks to my "attention to detail" husband, he was able to apply it without difficulty.

Purchased this item in late February 2012 and by March 5th, the skin is peeling off in all directions.

Great looking skin, but the adhesive is sub-par. Item does not come with any instructions for installing.

Will not purchase from this seller again.

Not worth returning to seller for replacement since shipping is going to cost another $5 + my time to go to post office. I hope others had better luck.

rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case for Apple MacBook Pro MB990LL/A 13.3-Inch LaptopThis case was recommend by a friend and I purchased it and have never regretted it. It fits perfectly in my brief case and travels very well. Great Case!!

I'm a college student and was in need of a laptop case for my MacBookPro 13". I have a hard case cover over my Mac and the case fits the Mac with the cover on nicely. I like the inside and how "bubble" like it is for protection. Only downside is I hate the fact theres no room to really place your charger cords. But I can deal with that much, so works for me!

I purchased this product to link my Nokia 6085 with my computer using Nokia's free PC suite software. The cable works great. I have had no connection issues between my phone and PC. The Amazon price was great compared to AT&T stores and web.

Used tis CA-53 cable for my Nokia E60 mobile. Tried a couple of Nokia PC Suites versions but kept getting communication errors. Finally managed to get Nokia PC Suite Ver 3.3.36 and tis works for my E60. Note there are several CA-53 connectivity cables available on Amazon; but get one which lists the Nokia model that you will be using the cable with. Gave 4 star for tis review as I am yet to fully use the cable for all the PC Suite functions.

Looks like I had to have this cable if I wanted to put any pictures from my phone into the puter to send to someone...Either Nokia or TMobile decided to not include the cable in the package when I purchased the phone back in 85'....now that I have the cable I think I've only tried to download half a dozen pictures ...The cable works but now that I have it I don't use it...

M-Edge Supershell Cover for iPad 2 and the New iPad (Blue)

M-Edge Supershell Cover for iPad 2 and the New iPadI absolutely love ths case. I have four children 9 and under, and this case is perfect for protecting the iPad from damage. It is bigger than other cases, so someone without children may not prefer it, but even when I am using the iPad I love the way the case makes it easy to hold and you can prop it up any where and it won't slide down because of the shell's material. The is a great advantage when watching videos or when I need to prop it in the kitchen to read a recipe.

Another praise for the M-Edge: I have a special needs daughter and this case has protected the iPad from many a drop!

My son has dropped the ipad a couple of times and it hasn't shattered the glass or anything. It's a great investment.

My 6 year old granddaughter received her 1st iPad for Christmas. Being an iPad owner myself, I knew it would be a challenge for her, to hold onto. This case was even better than expected. It protects all 4 edges, and allows her to hold it, without losing her grip. She can also lean it against the wall, etc, while we FaceTime and it doesn't slip away. Her parents, who get to use it, after her bedtime, don't mind the case being there either. I'm considering one for myself now. It also fit perfectly, and was easy to place on the iPad. Would definitely recommend this cover. Just pick your favorite color, and get that order placed.

Want M-Edge Supershell Cover for iPad 2 and the New iPad (Blue) Discount?

I purchased this cover after my Ipad screen had been broken while in a Griffin Survivor case. After repeated drops by my son, one corner of the inner case had cracked compromising it's protection. I was skeptical that this would be a good solution for me since it did not have a front screen cover like the Griffin. I was nicely surprised. The case is so much lighter than the griffin and is easy to grip. My kids have had it for a couple of months now and the case is rarely dropped. The couple of times it has happened, the case provided the protection needed. I highly recommend this case to anyone that has an ipad that is used by children.

Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 - Navy/Grey (910-002698)

Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 - Navy/Grey
  • Micro-precision scroll wheel: Faster, easier web navigation plus advanced optical sensor for smooth tracking on more surfaces
  • Extended battery life: Go for up to three years without a battery change (Battery life may vary based on user and computing conditions)
  • Compact comfort in cool colors: Ergonomic shape, soft rubber grips and great style that's easy to take anywhere
  • Multi-device wireless receiver: Tiny Unifying receiver connects up to six Unifying-compatible devices
  • For Windows and Mac computers: Works with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Mac OS X 10.5 or later

Logitech is known for their outstanding products, and this mouse appears to be rugged, stylish, and very functional!

Its a bit smaller than my M510 and not quite as "comfortable", but being compact, I expect it to feel a bit different than a full-size mouse. It definitely feels better than the M305 or M505

The stripes on the side add a touch of style, but they are "slick"... I would rather have the rubberized grip full-length of the sides, rather than in front and behind the stripe.

Scroll wheel is very smooth and "light" touch... rather then feeling the "deep clicks" of the scroll on the M510 or M310, this one is very sensitive and can easily scroll "fast". The texture of the scroll wheel is very nice and grips well for vertical or horizontal scrolling.

There are no "forward/back" buttons on the left side of the mouse, like the M510/710, but I knew that before ordering... no biggie, but you'd think Logitech would make those standard on all but their most basic lines.

Mouse is very responsive and works on pretty much any smooth surface (at least any I've tried so far).

Battery compartment is easy to open (release button on bottom of mouse), and the batteries (included, but not Duracell like normally included with Logitech devices) install easily. There is also a storage slot for the nano receiver... but most people will just leave it plugged into the computer/laptop. Syncing the device was a breeze... plugged in the receiver and after a few seconds, it recognized this mouse, as well as my M510 and K350 keyboard, which were both in the same room. Selection of devices to sync with was a breeze... click and go.

All in all, a great mouse for travel with my laptop, and I won't have to worry about batteries for at least a couple of years, even if I forget to turn it off before tossing it into the bag. I would have preferred a satin finish, rather than the shiny/slick finish, but that is just a matter of preference... does not affect function and does not appear to show finger-prints like you'd expect a shiny finish to do.

UPDATE:

I've been using this mouse for nearly a year, and suddenly it stopped working. After some troubleshooting on my own, I found the Unified Receiver to be the fault. I contacted Logitech, and after speaking with them for only 3-4 minutes, they shipped out a new Unified Receiver! FANTASTIC customer service dept.! The new receiver arrived in a couple of days, and my mouse is happily scooting and scrolling along again!

Buy Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 - Navy/Grey (910-002698) Now

I've used the Logitech M525 for ~9 months, and I've concluded this is the best "mobile" mouse that I've ever used (and that is quite a few). The M525 can be viewed as somewhat of an upgrade/refresh of the M505.

Some general points I thought worth highlighting:

Excellent tracking on multiple surfaces, also does pretty well on uneven surfaces (couch, bed, etc).

Pretty comfortable, even for extended use. It's larger than Logitech's M3XX series notebook mice and most other entry level notebook mice, but still small enough to fit in your pants pocket, i.e. while taking with you to a meeting at work; the M705 Marathon mouse was a little too bulky in this respect.

Very long battery life (+ the SW shows the battery status) means you rarely have to worry about batteries dying when traveling, etc.

Of course, the awesome tiny Unifying receiver, yada yada yada.

Some specific differences/improvements over the M505:

Single battery operation: unlike the M505, the M525 allows you to operate the mouse with a single AA battery (instead of two) in either chamber without any performance loss (note: M705 and M515 also allows this). I really like this because the weight savings makes the mouse feel much more nimble, and there's less noticeable difference vs a regular corded mouse. The comfort, weight and tracking are good enough that I'll use the M525 for casual gaming when I set up my PC for display on my LCD TV (my normal gaming is behind the monitor using a gaming grade mouse). Battery life wise, after 9 months of pretty heavy (but not primary) use, the battery meter in Setpoint shows 2/3 remaining. This would lead me to reasonably believe that given the usage profile assumed by Logitech, one could expect to use single AA battery to still give you a full 50% (18 months) of the 3 year stated battery life.

Scroll wheel: this might be a love/hate for some people, but I do like this new "micro-precision" scroll wheel a lot. So far, it appears to be exclusive to the M525, and is not shared with any other Logitech mouse yet as far as I can tell. It's great for reading/browsing text/windows explorer. My attempt to describe the scrolling action: there are no notches/clicks so it's a smooth scrolling, slightly similar to the free-spin mode of the dual-mode scroll wheel found on mice like the M705, Anywhere Mouse MX, G9x, G500, etc. However, it is less sensitive and has greater control than those dual-mode scroll wheels in free-spinning "hyper-fast" mode. The M525 wheel is very light but will stop spinning/scrolling as soon as you stop applying force, whereas the other dual-mode wheel is weighty, and like a flywheel, it will keeping spinning/scrolling in free mode after you let go (which often leads to overshooting while scrolling). Scrolling with the M525, even though it is fast and smooth, I never feel like it is too sensitive or "runs away" from me; I find it very natural. For those who have used the dual-mode wheel, and find the precise mode too restrictive, and the hyper-fast mode too fast and sensitive, you might like the M525 "micro-precision" scroll wheel. I haven't evaluated the scroll wheel much for gaming uses, since it's not my primary gaming mouse and also I don't rely on the scroll wheel for weapon switch, but I'd imagine it's not the best for hardcore gaming use. One rare case where I've found the M525 smooth scrolling unusable is switching pages in Powerpoint. With a normal mouse, one notch is one page, but since there are no notches with this wheel, it's easy to skip over slides instead of just the next page. I end up having to use the keyboard PgUp/PgDn, but I feel it's a small price to pay for having a great scroll wheel for all my other reading/browsing.

Application-specific button mappings in Setpoint: this may not affect most users, but I was disappointed and puzzled that the M505 does not support this function (but other, even older Logitech mice do e.g. MX510, G5). Was pleased to find that in the M525 that this is supported again. Specifically in the M525, I remap the wheel tilt left/right to the keyboard mappings for Prev/Next Tab in Firefox, since I spawn and then switch between tabs more than I need the wheel tilt for back/forward or horizontal scroll. But I can leave the default mapping to back/forward so I use that in Windows Explorer or in Windows Media Player (prev/next playlist item). You can bind special functions for Word/Excel/Outlook/Powerpoint (listed in Setpoint by default), or you can add any application (as I did for Firefox) in Setpoint simply by directing it to the executable path.

Very solid construction: surprisingly, even though the M505 and M525 look nearly identical, I noticed that the M525 feels much more solid in the hand. On the M505, the battery cover rattles/shifts a little, and the buttons are a bit more flimsy (not the clicking action, but they're not held down as well), but the M525 feels rock-solid and everything has a much more precise fit. It's noticeably better than the M505 (which itself isn't bad), and miles ahead of the M705, which definitely did not feel solid. The level of fit/finish and construction compares to Logitech's corded gaming grade mice, IMHO.

All in all, it's a great mouse for notebook/general/casual gaming/HTPC use. I'd wish for a couple extra buttons, but that's probably hard to manage well on an ambidextrous mouse that's a smaller size. I can see the M525 being easily overlooked, since it appears nearly identical to the existing M505, it doesn't receive as many reviews, and is in the middle of Logitech's range (i.e. not the top of the line, not the most righty ergo shape, no fancy Darkfield sensor, etc.), but I think Logitech has created an excellent sleeper-hit product with the M525. Great comfort, features/performance, battery life and all this for a low price (often on sale for $20 in B&M stores) hard to ask for much more. It even looks pretty good to boot, and comes in multiple colors.

This is without a doubt the best mouse i have ever owned. I liked it so much i bought 4 of them in different colors so i can enjoy this mouse for the next 300 years! I WILL LIVE THAT LONG! When i first installed it along with my Logitech lighted keyboard, The mouse was not working the way i wanted it to. This was due to the outdated software that came on a disc with my Logitech keyboard. [There is no disc that comes with the mouse] That software controls the mouse and keyboard, and works along with the normal windows software for your mouse and keyboard that comes with a computer. The outdated software was OK, but the new version on the Logitech site, [SETPOINT version 6.32.20.0], has a few more settings that made all the difference in the world! Its all personal choice of course, and the new version RULES! Might i add that the new lighted Logitech keyboard i bought is also the BEST keyboard i ever owned! Its The Logitech Illuminated keyboard model # [920-000914]. Originally i bought it at best buy for 79.99, but found it on Amazon for 59.99! A full 20.00 less. This mouse, i also bought at best buy for 39.99 but again, found it on Amazon for 27.90. Free shipping and NO TAX! I love the fact that the mouses scroll wheel if pushed side to side acts as a back button while looking at pages on the Internet. The scroll action is SUPER FAST and "very smooth". The tiny USB receiver is also really cool. I have learned that with keyboards and mice its better to spend a little more money, if you can afford it, and go with the higher end stuff. It really does make a difference in your computing. Hope this helps anyone interested in these products from M.B. in Plymouth Ma.

Want Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 - Navy/Grey (910-002698) Discount?

I am a big Logitech fan and use many of their products. I had no idea the mouse wheel would have zero rolling resistance and incredible sensitivity -so little, in fact, that I am constantly accidentally rolling it, really just by touching it slightly with the side of my finger. This makes useing pull-down menus difficult. This means I'm scrolling when unintended. This means I'm constantly zooming in and out of graphics in Photoshop without intending too.

Just awful--seems like a huge mistake, honestly. You can actually spin the wheel as if it were an amusement park game wheel--it keeps going.

Not really sure what scenario one would want a wheel with zero traction and that's sensitive to merely touching it.

Noticible pros:

very smooth scrolling

Noticable cons:

middle button (scroller) presses to hard. When I press it its often scroll works and mouse pointer goes out of link.

as all last logitech mouses too big friction with surface

there is no mouse speed adjusting software for mac (but for example m510 has)

horizontal scrolling not work on mac (but m510 horizontal scrolling works)

I would not highly recommend it for mac. But mouse pretty nice.

Bluecell Black 3 in 1 Capacitive stylus pen/ LED torch light / Red laser presentation pointer for iP

Bluecell Black 3 in 1 Capacitive stylus pen/ LED torch light / Red laser presentation pointer for iPad, iPad 2 3, iPhone, iPod Touch Sony station PS VITA
  • Black color 3 in 1 stylus pen.
  • Batteries included: LR41 Batteries X 3
  • Compatible with Apple iPad, iPhone 4G/3G/3GS, iPod and any tablets or smartphone
  • Light weight Aluminum body.Dimension: 4.75" inch
  • Clip design for easy storage, can be clipped in your pocket, book, diary, etc

Difficult to get the batteries into. Unscrewed from the stylus in the center, balanced the three little batteries on one half and then carefully put the other half over them and screw it back up. Trying to slid them in just causes them to twist around the wrong way.

The screw threads holding the middle together are crap and it keeps popping in half when I use it.

Yesterday the tip fell off. It was held in place by a little spot of glue. I wedged it back in with a tiny piece of paper and it appears to be good and stuck on now.

Flash light and laser pointer are working fine. Not that I've been suck in a dark cave trying to point to a presentation or anything, but I'm sure if I the flashlight and laser point would do just fine.

This stylus is heavier than most due to the batteries for the laser and light but I like the weight. It works for my phone and ipad. My only complaint is that the clip is too tight to slip onto anything thicker than paper. Anticipate putting a keyring on it or something because I couldn't get it to clip onto the side of my leather ipad cover.

PalmOne IIIe Handheld

PalmOne IIIe Handheld
  • Holds up to 6,000 addresses, 5 years of appointments, 1,500 to-do items, and more
  • Measures 4.7 by 3.2 by 0.7 inches and weighs 6 ounces
  • Synchronizes fast with your PC or Macintosh
  • What's in the box: Palm IIIe handheld, Palm Desktop organizer software, 2 AAA alkaline batteries, DB-25 adapter

Unlike people who were "already happy" with their bulky organizers before purchasing this product, I had been wanting a Palm for quite some time. Therefore, the expectation bar was raised.

Now that I have the product, the bar was met! Some questions you may have about Palms:

1. How do I enter data? One of three easy ways: with a small pen which you use to write directly into the Palm Pilot; with a pop-up keyboard; or you can enter information on your computer and download it onto your Palm Pilot.

2. Is it hard to learn? The thing I found most amazing about this is how easy you can learn it. Usually something as robust as this product has a high-learning curve. However, that is not the case here.

3. Can you play games on it? Hey admit it, we all thought it was pretty cool when we found out we can play games on it. I have about 12 games on mine (and it takes up hardly any space at all). Now all those boring lines at the bank, airports, and sitting in doctor office waiting rooms are but a memory. ;-)

4.This one is cheaper than the others, should I buy an expensive one? That is up to you. I personally don't need to store 1,500 appointments, 6000 phone numbers, etc. I'm just a guy who likes to have things organized. This product does that and lots more. I think that one of the top-dollar ones would be overkill (at least for me it would).

5. What's the coolest thing about the product? I personally like the fact that there are literally hundreds of thousands of *FREE* programs that you can download onto the Palm Pilot.

If you are the type of person who likes to control his or her scene, I strongly urge you to purchase this product.

Buy PalmOne IIIe Handheld Now

Although this unit lacks the spacious memory capacity of most of its siblings, the Palm IIIe packs in most of their features and is an excellent entry level device to experience the convenience and fun of PDAs.

The sturdy unit easily slips into a pocket. The screen is sharp, and the adjustable contrast and backlighting options make it readable in most light levels, although it can be tough to achieve a balance in low light conditions. Two AAA batteries power it for a surprising amount of time (but extensive use of the backlight feature drains them fairly rapidly). File management through the palm OS is easily configurable, and the unit is very responsive. The Graffiti writing system can be learned quickly, and the on screen keyboard and number pad are readily accessible for those tricky characters.

I wasn't organized prior to receiving this device as a gift, and I must admit that I'm still not. The included address book is very usable, and the ability to beam "business cards" to other palm pilot devices via infrared makes it easy to record and keep track of colleagues' contact information. The day planning software, with it's configurable alarms and repeat dates is also very handy. The Palm Desktop and Hotsync software intelligently backs up data and files from the handheld unit, and schedules entered on your computer through the software are automatically updated on the device. Macintosh users take note, the included hotsync cradle terminates in PC cords, so you'll need to by the adapter to convert to Macintosh serial or the USB kit for newer Macs (both should be available on Amazon.com). If your machine is IrDA compliant, you can hotsync via infrared, but you will need to get some preliminary files on the unit through a cradle hotsync or beaming to do so.

One of the strong points of the whole Palm line of PDAs is the overwhelming number of third party applications (shareware, freeware, and high powered commercial programs with trial periods) that are available online through a variety of web sites. These files range from classic board games to old books in a Palm document format to graphics and spreadsheet programs. Free online services, such as AvantGo, even download user selectable web pages to the unit upon hotsync for review on the bus or while waiting in a line.

To learn of the variety of tasks that this device can perform, I encourage new users to check out online resources and books such as David Pogue's "Palm Pilot: the Ultimate Guide. (2nd Edition)" The book includes a Macintosh/Windows/Linux CD-ROM loaded with software for the Palm, and even though many of the programs have newer versions available, the breadth of the material covered in the text (and links to the software developer's websites on the CD-ROM) make it a worth while purchase.

Those interested in protecting their investment may want to investigate the reasonably priced extended warranty options available directly from Palm Computing (including a screen replacement program and a one year extension of the warranty).

Although I will likely upgrade to a unit with more memory for storing programs and files in the future, the Palm IIIe has served me well. Overall, this device is an incredible value for its price!

Read Best Reviews of PalmOne IIIe Handheld Here

I have heard a lot of people tell me not to get a Palm IIIe because it is not the smallest Palm model out there. . . This is a straw-man argument. I got a Palm IIIe and it is GREAT. 2MB or memory is not much for my desktop, I have 256 MB of RAM and 30 gigs of HD, but for my Palm Pilot, this is more than I will ever need! Don't waist your money on more expensive models, unless you are planning to write a dissertation on your palm pilot, and a lot more, it will hold it all with PLENTY to spare. As far as size, it is the exact size as most other palm models, and it is VERY portable. Someone said that it is visible in a sport coat, well they need to trim down a few pounds then, or buy a coat that fits. Not only do I keep mine in a sport coat pocket, I keep it in the smaller pocket on the inside left of most of my coats. I wear a 39 Long so the pockets are smaller than most coats anyway, and trust me, you can't see or feel it. The Palm IIIe is a Great buy, and a heck of a Palm Pilot, no upgrade is needed, unless you want to connect to the web with no wires, then get the Palm Vii and pay $44 a month. Hope this was helpful.

Want PalmOne IIIe Handheld Discount?

I agree that the IIIe is a good value. The built-in applications are both easy to use and flexible. It is simple, for example, to display all your memos, or just those to do with work, or just those to do with personal matters.

I found the display plenty easy to read, and the software set up quickly on the computer. I found its handwriting language easy to learn. You do need to make sure, however, that you have a spare serial port on your computer; I had to install a new one, and that turned out to be a pain (so much for Plug and Play). I have had some problem using the synchonization eith Netscape e-mail; I needed a new MAPI32.DLL file, and the synchonization isn't set up well for using multiple Netscape configurations.

There's plenty of software out there for purchase or simply for the downloading. I found a very handling shopping-list program that I wouldn't do without now, and I'm trying out a checkbook program. But my favorite toy so far is AvantGo Web browsing software. It really does work. And games play reasonably well -my kids keep wanting to play them. But don't expect the crisp, active-matrix game display of a device made for that purpose.

The 2 megabytes of RAM seems to be plenty. Even after loading the IIIe up with e-mail and AvantGo (half a megabyte including downloaded Web pages) I still have nearly half the memory left.

The IIIe won't upgrade, but from what I've seen most of the software out there will run on 2.0 (my IIIe has 3.1). By the time I need an upgrade it will probably be time to buy a new organizer anyway.

The main negative is the outrageous price for peripherals. A modem and keyboard together cost more than the unit itself.

I usually don't like PDAs, because I remember all the appointments and I use my cellular to store phone numbers, that's why I only bought a IIIe. I figured if I don't like it, I'll be able to sell it quick. Well, now I can't live without it ;) Not only do I have all my phone numbers and adresses on it, but the programs you can download are so many and most of them are freeware, I now use my Palm IIIe all the time. I don't think I'll let it go, I would prefer to keep it and buy another Palm with more memories, but not right now, I'm using only half the memory of my Palm right now, I still have time ;) And now lots of my friends are going to follow me and buy a Palm :)

The PDS-ST450-VP portable scanner provides the best of both worlds: portability and the ability to produce high-quality scans. The scanner wand fits easily in a bag or purse and produces very good quality scans in short order.

As a stand-alone scanner, the wand scanner can produce images of 300, 600, and 900 dpi, in color or monochromatic images. Should higher-quality scans be desired, the scanner can be inserted into the accompanying auto-feed dock. The dock can scan up to 1200 dpi. Documents move smooth and straight through the auto-feeder, providing excellent quality scans.

While trialing the document feeder, I noted that the feeder may, if the document is slightly out of alignment, make short adjustments in the document's alignment before proceeding to scan it. Once it is aligned the document moves quickly and smoothly through the feeder.

The scanning width is 8.5 inches. The document feeder will accept documents and photos up to that width.

Scans are saved to a micro SD card, which is not included. Hint: buy a card at the same time you purchase this scanner. I forgot, and being a cheapskate I had to drive across town to get one at the lowest possible price. That took more time than it took the scanner to charge (it has rechargeable batteries), which was just slightly over an hour.

The package includes the wand scanner, the auto-feed dock, a small microfiber cleaning cloth, a small bag to hold the wand scanner, a USB cable, and a CD containing the ABBYY FineReader OCR software.

The quality of the scans is impressively good for such a small device. In just a few seconds one can scan a document, a page, a photograph, or even the wallpaper on the wall. The results can be saved as a .jpg or .pdf file.

There is a very brief learning curve for using the wand freehand you quickly learn how to roll the scanner at a steady rate (not too fast) and keep it straight for best results. The surface on which the document to be scanned is placed can affect the quality of the scan: I found out the hard way that the smoother the surface, the harder it is to move the scanner evenly and straight over the document without the document sliding on the surface. A glass desktop gave the worst results. An unfinished wood surface provided just enough grip to hold the document in place without slipping. Coated paper, such as magazine pages, will also be a little slicker and a little more prone to causing the scanner to slide slightly as compared to newsprint or standard printer paper.

For the light-to-moderate users this scanner is a top-notch pick. My only reservation has to do with uncertainty about what the lifespan of the document feeder dock will turn out to be. Even so, the sheer convenience of such a small and lightweight package (the wand: just over 6 ounces, the dock: not quite 1.5 lbs.) makes it an excellent choice when portability and a small desktop/luggage footprint are essential.

Used it first day opened box to scan over 140 photos at newly found cousin. I am not a gadget geek or techno geek, just a genealogy geek. The dock works great, it needs to be connected to a power source-computer or laptop or better yet the handy dandy USB adapter to electical outlet. So taking the dock and wand to a library or court house to do genealogy work will be easy, do not have to lug in a laptop. I plan on covering the box it came in with paper or fabric because it will keep it safe and has a handle for carrying! It is light weight. The wand is sturdy enough that scanning is easy and works over photos in mats, and works on rounded book pages (book pages that do not lay flat). (I used a pen type smaller wand years ago and found it terrible, scans all wiggly because of going too fast or too slow and difficult to have a steady scan due to size.) I was very happy to use this wand and have it scan beautifully the very first time. Quality great. When hooked up to computer just one push of the button and it opens MY PICTURES and ready to download, very quick. Can keep scanned photos on the microSDHC card or delete them. I scanned in color mode as I was scanning black and white and color photos. All were great: great color, black and white were great. Tried black and white in Mono mode did not see a difference. Scanned over 3 1/2 hours without running out of the charge. 43 MB used for all my photos. It says it scans fabric, I did scan a colorful mouse pad, it worked!

I bought mine through Sears as it came with a 16 GB microSDHC card and adapter/reader so it was ready to use right out of the box. (needs charging first-made cookies while charging). The adapter allows you to read the micro card out of the wand if so desired. I am very very happy with this product and highly recommend it to genealogists, I scanned photo front and back of photo with the writing information, sure beats writing it all down, saves much time. It is also a quick way to scan home photos for preservation and sharing as well.

Although I now see it says the OCR software is only compatible with PC, i had looked at the System Requirements and saw it was Mac and ordered it thinking i could use the OCR software CD (which i had seen when scanning the rest of the info) to be able to edit docs scanned. However this is another example of Mac users being left out. The VuPoint rep i talked to said it was a corporate decision based on $ as there are more PC users than Mac. As a Mac user, It costs an additional $100 to get an Abbyy Mac version that would allow scanned document editing.

If all you want is the scanner, then no problem. I will send it back, and am disappointed about that as I really love the look and size and dock option and imagine the scanning is good based on other reviews.

One more complaint I have is that there is no 'tilt' or 'slight rotate' option for when a document is not scanned EXACTLY straight. i have only scanned one doc so far (got this today) and i did it using the dock. it looked like it went in straight, but the scan is crooked. the only way to now fix it is to hassle with putting it into another software program (like iPhoto) and doing the straightening there.

Just what I needed. Could handle all my scanning sizes and weights. The paper guide is a plus. The wand is a plus. The docking station mode is a plus. Only negative was it took a bit of time for me to "get" the way it worked. Once done, my project of scanning photos from ancestors on down was a breeze. Images are saved on a Microsd chip which is "view-able" when in docking mode. There, you can edit and save elsewhere if need be. This is just the best device for gathering your lifetime of print photos and saving them for posterity.

Working in a busy office setting where we need to copy IDs and small pieces of identification, this tool saves us a lot of time. Very easy to use, feeding or scanning, and the different settings are useful. Only complaint is that the machine shuts off on its own from time to time, but never loses the data.

I am one of those people that has to keep my iPhone looking pristine of course, I had to buy a film protector for it. I have tried many, and none compare to the Elago Smudge Free Film. It is so easy to put on, and I wasn't left with any bubbles or peeling. It prevents fingerprints from showing up on my screen, making it much more convenient and useful. It also protects it from scratches, yet I can't really can't even tell it's there. I would definitely recommend this product. Thank you Elago!!

I'd been trying to find a decent screen protector for a while and purchased this one. Yes, it goes on without bubbles and, yes, it prevents fingerprints and smudges. Unfortunately, it also dulls the sharpness of the screen quite a bit. I thought I could get past it, but honestly, if you can't enjoy the sharp visuals on the iPod Touch, what's the point? The home screen especially was much blurrier. Finally I just gave up, peeled the thing off, and threw it away. That was about a month ago. I haven't used a protector since and I've enjoyed my Touch every bit as much. Rather than frustrate myself time and time again looking for the perfect case and protector, I'm simply going to be more careful with the screen and enjoy it without the accessories.

After trying other screen protectors for the iPod touch2g, I stumbled on Elago's smudge free protector. I decided to purchase 2 just in case I couldn't get the first one right. The biggest complaint Ive seen is that bubbles appear as you apply the film. As it turns out, Elago's film goes easily without ANY bubbles. The film also withstands fingerprints just as its advertised. I strongly recommend this screen protector for your iPod touch 2g if you are in the market for one.

rooCASE Multiple View (Black) Leather Folio Case Cover with Adjustable Stand for Amazon Kindle Touch

rooCASE Multiple View Leather Folio Case Cover with Adjustable Stand for Amazon Kindle Touch 6-Inch Wi-FI / 3GI recently purchased a Kindle Touch and wanted a cover for it that would stand when I read in the bed, on an airplane, at a coffee shop, etc. This case is perfect. As the previous reviewer stated, holding the cover is bulky when folded for storage. However, what the reviewer did not get right is the purpose for the velcro'd section. When reading the packaging it states that the Kindle Touch is able to be detached from the rest of the cover (the bulkiest part that creates the stand), for the purpose of handheld reading. I almost did not buy this case due to the previous review, but am happy that I did. This cover is great and for the price, it can not be beat. Seems that the simplest of covers run at least $30 in the stores, so this is a steal..and it's leather. I highly recommend this rooCASE for anyone looking for a multi-purpose cover. I will look to rooCASE for any future covers I might need.

This case is hard to find on Amazon. So if you've reached this page, consider yourself lucky this is the best case out there, although few know about it.

I am hard to please and have researched all possible cases, going as far as exploring Canadian and overseas websites (I am a perfectionist)... After all, if the case bothers you, it will be with you for a long time!

First I had bought the iBLASON handsfree case in brown, encouraged by the great reviews and the stand-alone quality. I was disappointed it is an OK case, but nothing like the Roo. It made the Kindle 3 times thicker and of course, much heavier. It did not feel intuitive, the leather was too firm, not to mention, it did NOT have the option to detach the Kindle in its velcro-ed inner case that the Roocase has which I think is a major factor, because it makes the case lighter to hold in one hand (not that the Roocase is heavy, but it becomes even lighter and thinner this way).

Enters Roocase. From the moment I opened the package, I felt happy. When an item is high quality, it just makes your heart sing right when you see it.

1) The only reviewer here who gave this case 3 stars all else gave it 5 stars did not understand the purpose of the velcroed inner case, as was pointed by another reviewer; her second grievance that the screen was recessed and she couldn't thumb it I found nonexistent as well. No problem thumbing and reading with one hand whatsoever!

2) The texture of the leather is very good looking. It looks expensive and VERY well made. It has a wonderful grain to it. When I first put it on my Kindle, my jaw literally dropped. It was so beautiful.

3) The case is intuitive it just feels intelligent, soft-leathered, lived-in and multipurpose from the very beginning. You can detach the inner velcro-ed case, and read with ONE hand OR put it on a flat surface and let it stand on its own! Very handy when eating or doing something else.

4) Despite its complex beauty, the case "disappears" for you mentally, once on the Kindle, as it should.

5) At this mind-blowing quality, the price is a STEAL! I am convinced that Roocase is currently the highest-quality stand-alone case maker for eReaders.

6) I could even find space to stick in a stylus horizontally, on the bottom. Great!

(By the way, if you do own a Roocase, and find ANOTHER case of same or higher quality and roughly similar price range please leave a comment to this post. I'll be happy to know about it.)

When I woke up the next morning, the Kindle in its Roocase was the first thing I saw and it made me feel happy again. My heart was so content that I ordered another Roocase in Magenta for my Nook (i have both Kindle and Nook, due to the crazy competition between the two half of the books are available only on one, and half only on the other e-reader).

I am so relieved after so many hours searching picky me, finally I have a case to love. Whew!

It is unfathomable why there are so few reviews for this case...

Because no one can find it it appears only on page 20 if you search for a Kindle Touch case.... Amazon, this is a crime, given how hard it is to find a stand-alone case for the Kindle touch there are very few on the market, although they are the most comfortable.

It is even harder to find stand-alone cases with velcro (so when you want to hold the Kindle, you can detach the inner, lighter case from the outer, bigger case) it is a great feature! So this case should be on page 1, not page 20! ;-o

*

One minor piece of feedback for the Maker (if Roocase is eavesdropping): I want to see more colors. Besides Black, You offer only Magenta and Red I imagine mostly teenagers, or girly-girls will like these colors not serious readers, which I suppose is your target market. Please add more colors maybe silver, wine, olive green, yellow-green, or intense dark blue, as is now the fashion? There are so few stand-alone case choices on the market, and it is impossible to find a case that is funky (vs corporate) YET comfortable. So you will gain more following if you make more interesting colors. (And, if you ever do, please leave the central ribbed portion black don't paint it the same color it will make it more unique.) Secondly, the backing of the inner case is hard I'd prefer a soft and thinner backing. It does NOT bother me but it is a tad weird. I won't take points away for these, since none of them really bother me, and probably, no one but me would notice them. In conclusion, I can only say, keep up the great work, Roo!! Everyone else should buy this case immediately and cross this off your To Do list.

Thanks for reading my review and, if it was helpful, I'd really appreciate a click on the "yes" button.

I travel in my job. I needed a durable case that added neither weight nor bulk, that protected my new Kindle Touch through everything my purse survives, and that was a pleasure to hold. I spent 4 hours reviewing everything Amazon offered and ordered this rooCASE. They were backordered and I bought something locally with a zipper that was twice as expensive as this rooCASE. Today the rooCASE arrived. WOW! I am blown away with the quality and versatility of this design. Don't even hesitate. Just buy it!

Ordered this case and it is very nicely built. Nice build quality. However, it is very bulky and quite heavy. Here are the specs

Weight:

The inner case weighs 1.9 oz (can be detached from the main case)

The outer case weighs 4.9 oz

Both cases together weigh 6.8 oz

Thickness:

Kindle Touch itself it 1/4" thick

Inner case with Kindle inside is 17/32", just over 1/2" thick

Outer and inner cases together with Kindle inside is 1 1/8" thick (larger than the specifications).

So this case more than quadruples the thickness of the Kindle. It is very uncomfortable to hold both cases in the hands due to the thickness and weight. But it is quite comfortable to hold the Kindle with just the inner jacket.

I do love the built in stand. It works very nicely and is great for reading at the table or in bed. You can easily attach a book light to the top side edge. And if you are using it with the stand, no worries about how heavy the book light is. Also, because the stand is behind the unit instead of in front, I think it would be easier to use at the table than a similar cover with a built in stand where the stand is in front of the unit (it wouldn't bump into your plate and you would be less likely to spill food onto it).

When the stand is being used, the unit sits on top of two leather tabs at the bottom, so it is not perfectly stable and bounces a small bit, but it really isn't much of a problem.

4 star rating due to weight and bulkiness and small color selection. Overall a very nice product.

This is an exceptional looking case. I scrutinized all the cases for Nook Color online and read all the available reviews and finally chose this one. It's a little heavy, but with the Nook in it, no more than a hardback novel. My only real complaint is when you take the inner case out, the Velcro that is on the back of it (to hold it in different positions upright) tends to snag clothing and blankets. I should probably take an eyeglass cleaner cloth and cover the Velcro with it, but I haven't yet. But I like it a lot, it is elegant and well made!

I bought the 4 pack of the MyGear "Clear" Protectors for Kindle Fire, and split the cost among three friends and me. We are all happy with it. The protector cover was nearly precisely the size of the screen. Definitely made the screen shine and the protector is crystal clear and beautiful on the Kindle Fire. However, the instruction was not very clear because the drawings were not clear. The instruction sheet looked like it was a copy of a copy of a copy. Yet, the product itself is very nice if you apply it correctly. Luckily, I had prior experience with screen protectors that I knew what I was doing.

Before you start, take a semi-wet towel to wipe off any grease and dirt from the screen, and then tear off a piece of newspaper to wipe the screen dry (keep wiping until it is dry and clean). Newspaper is the best material for cleaning glass when it is wet. Look at your screen to make sure your screen is crystal clear before applying the protector to the screen.

You have to know that each screen protector has two plastic covers protecting it, one on each side of the protector. The nice thing was that each plastic cover had a peeler labeled "step 1" (one side of the protector--that's meant to stick to the screen) and "step 2" (other side of the protector). The labels made it easier to peel the covers off as you are applying the protector to your Kindle screen. However, they should recommend that you have a credit card handy as you will need it to help flatten the protector as you are applying it to the screen. You have to use your credit card to continuously scrape out the bubbles as more of the protector is sticking to the screen (from step 1). Be prepared to take your time during the application. If done incorrectly, you will always have a bubble that will never go away. Also, make sure you positioned the protector correctly to the shape of your screen at the very beginning of laying down the protector.

If done correctly, the screen will look beautiful with this "clear" protector. My protector was so nice that it looked like it is the screen itself. If you use a stylus for your touch screen, then definitely get this protector. If you use your fingers, this screen protector makes it easy for you to use a wet towel to wipe clean the protector without damaging the screen. The oils of your fingers over time can damage your screen, as well as constantly wiping your screen with towels. So, a screen protector is a necessary item to get in order to protect your valuable device. This protector is nicer than others because it has a strong stick, unlike others I have used that slides around. This screen protector does not slide around even when I press down hard with my stylus and swiping across the screen while playing Scramble. This protector sticks strongly on the screen.

This was a very good deal on a very good product. I was very pleased with the speed of delivery, and the screen protectors were really easy to apply-no bubbles! This is an excellent product, and while I can't say how durable they are yet, I'm pretty sure they will hold up. The anti-fingerprint feature is great, and it also reduces glare from the screen. I highly recommend this product.

First off the instructions are only a little help. I found nothing that said which two were for glare protection and which two were just screen protectors. I had to hold them up to a light to see the difference and guessed the more clear ones were just screen protectors. They did include a cleaning cloth which was a nice touch. The tool to smooth it out was a joke but I just used a thin plastic card and it worked very well. I did get a bubble on top near the corner but I think that I may have stepped a bit off the screen. Two small bubbles were easily removed with the plastic card that I used as I pulled the protective plastic away.

If these last as long as the ones I have used on my cell phone that gets lots of use I am sure that I am good for the life of the fire. I guess I rated them down because the instructions had no mention of which two protectors were clear or anti glare and for bothering to put that ridiculous squeegee in. I did not go to the web site where there might be a video but figured that it really should be an easy application that did not require time studying a video.

They were precisely cut so my one problem with an air bubble was my fault buy starting just off the screen. It is barely perceptible how short it is on the other end so I really should have used more care and better lighting to apply the screen.

HQRP Internal Li-Polymer Battery Repl. for Palm Tungsten E T5 TX PalmOne PDA

HQRP Internal Li-Polymer Battery Repl. for Palm Tungsten E T5 TX PalmOne PDA
  • 850mAh High Capacity, 3.7V, with Longer Runtime
  • Li-Polymer Rechargeable Internal Battery
  • Made from High Quality Japan Cells
  • CE and SGS-ISO-9001-2000 Certified
  • Two type Torx Screwdrivers and manual included

This product, in my opinion, is NOT a do-it-yourself one. I'm an average handy type, but am in over my head. I'm great at getting things apart. Er, it's getting them back together again that's the rub. That's the case here. My Palm is now in several piece (w/o the new battery in place) as I took it apart, following directions, but could NOT get the battery replaced I don't solder, so I wish I'd known you've got to unsolder the old battery and resolder in the new one. Hm, not in the instructions anywhere. SO now I've a box with the cover, and the little insert, and the screws and..... it's not worth it.

BoxWave HTC One X Sketching Capacitive Stylus - Pencil-Shaped HTC One X Capacitive Touch Screen Styl

BoxWave HTC One X Sketching Capacitive Stylus - Pencil-Shaped HTC One X Capacitive Touch Screen Stylus
  • Works on all capacitive touch screen devices
  • Pencil-shaped design for optimal pen-like functionality
  • Durable and solid aluminum construction
  • Available in Gold, Jet Black, Metallic Silver, Olive Green, Scarlet Red, and Super Blue color

This offers no protection for the phone at all. While giving a little extra grip to the side of the 8830, it does so by sacrificing ease of removing it from pockets as the material catches the inside of your pockets as you remove it. The case also slips off the phone very easily and rips at the corners. All this disappointment in less than 48 hours.

I love this skin. I used to drop my blackberry and the battery would pop out and it would take 5 minutes to reboot. Now if I drop it, the battery stays in and no dents. Before finding Boxwave I purchased another brand (I don't recall the name) at Best Buy and it didn't fit well at all. The only downside is that when the skin is on, I can't use the holster but I still can put in my pocket. I'm willing to take the downside to protect my bb.
