I am one of those people that has to keep my iPhone looking pristine of course, I had to buy a film protector for it. I have tried many, and none compare to the Elago Smudge Free Film. I'd been trying to find a decent screen protector for a while and purchased this one. Yes, it goes on without bubbles and, yes, it prevents fingerprints and smudges. Unfortunately, it also dulls the sharpness of the screen quite a bit. I thought I could get past it, but honestly, if you can't enjoy the sharp visuals on the iPod Touch, what's the point? The home screen especially was much blurrier. Finally I just gave up, peeled the thing off, and threw it away. That was about a month ago. I haven't used a protector since and I've enjoyed my Touch every bit as much. Rather than frustrate myself time and time again looking for the perfect case and protector, I'm simply going to be more careful with the screen and enjoy it without the accessories.
