Usb connector is plastic, never seen one like that before, I guess it wouldn't matter if it worked, haven't been able to get any computer to even recognize that it is there.

i got this reader for to use on my archos 9 tablet and it works perfect.

i pluged it in and just took off.

before gotting this a ordered a kodak 72 reader and just could not make it work.

When it works, it works great. Have problems with my mac recognizing it and/or mac thinks I am removing it frequently when it's plugged in tight. OK for backup, but I will be replacing.
